  Windsor Academy is a unique and historic institution. There is no clear date of foundation, but teaching existed in 1485 and developed rapidly sometime around 1523. Initially created as a library, Windsor is now a world-leading centre of learning, teaching and research and the one of the oldest academy’s in the world. The academy is one of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world. There are a total of 39 'colleges' (departments), which are financially independent and self-governing, but relate to the central academy in a kind of federal system. There are also six permanent private halls, which are similar to colleges except that they tend to be smaller, and were founded by particular Christian denominations. The colleges and halls are close academic communities, which bring together students and researchers from different disciplines, cultures and countries. This helps to foster the outstanding research achievement that has made Windsor a leader in so many fields.
  
  It does not have a main campus, and its buildings and facilities are scattered throughout the city of London. Undergraduate teaching at Windsor is organised around weekly small-group tutorials at the colleges and halls – a feature unique to Windsor. These are supported by classes, lectures, seminars, laboratory work and occasionally further tutorials provided by the central academy faculties and departments.
  
  Since its founding, Windsor has a had a total of 26 head chancellors who've overseen the development and teaching of students. The chancellor has their own council - a board founded by the heads of each department. Together, the chancellors and council make executive decisions regarding the academy's function, activity and future. To be on the council is a highly sought after position, and the position of chancellor being on a higher level and more sought after. Only a few, those within the council, can actually say that they've seen the chancellor in person. Though there are photos of the chancellor around the academy, not a lot of people have met the chancellor in person.
  
  A separate wing of Windsor also operates the as one of the the oldest museums in the world. Windsor Academy also has the largest and one of the oldest academic library in the world.
  
  Windsor Academy has educated a wide range of notable alumni, including world leaders and many heads of state and government around the world. Windsor was once home to 78 Nobel Prize laureates, 3 Fields Medalists, and 6 Turing Award winners have studied, worked, or held visiting fellowships at the Windsor Academy, while its alumni have won 138 Olympic medals. Windsor is the home of numerous scholarships, and has a nationwide renown scholarship programme for underprivileged students. It also has one of the oldest international programmes.​

• Chancellor Hugh Rickman
  

  

  
  The elusive Chancellor Hugh Rickman is a character that not many can describe. After all, how are you supposed to describe someone you've never met. The only thing that matters to Chancellor Rickman is the fact that grades and the reputation of the academy have skyrocketed since he became chancellor of the Academy. No one expected for the Academy to go from sixth to first place in nationwide league tables.
  
  Dr. Abram Bent
  

  

  
  Dr. Brent is without a doubt, the kindest, most gentle soul in the academy. He has a doctorate in both Theology and English Language. Though he does cover a few modules in the English department, his main position is being the head of the school of Philosophy and Theology. Dr. Brent is known for being a moral compass for some students and is always willing to give advice.
  
  Dr. Muhammad Miah
  

  

  
  Dr. Miah is a professor of world literature in English. He is well read and well educated. His is charming and witty yet knows when he needs to buckle down and teach in order to get the best results possible. If you could equate Dr. Miah to a family member he would be the type of uncle to show you tough love. Growing up in a poorer community in the north of England, Dr. Miah is known to have a bias towards scholarship students.
  
  Professor Diana Harvey
  

  

  
  Professor Diana Harvey is a well respected professor in the school of English Language and Literature. Formerly the professor of 18th century studies, Professor Harvey is now the professor of modernist studies. Though she can look intimidating on the outside, she is known to be one of the most easiest faculty members to talk to and is also known to be lenient in her marking. She is also a favourite amongst women and international students on campus.
  
  Professor Steven Harrison
  

  

  
  Professor Harrison is there as an assistant professor. Though he leads many lectures and seminars, he himself is not head of any single department, module or course. Whilst one would assume that the lower ranking status would annoy Professor Harrison, he insists that he actually prefers the freedom of not having to worry about overall performance of a cohort. How is job is easy and how anyone in the world would pay for it.

  How does one describe Professor Arthur Henry? Whilst he originally came into the academy with a pristine record and image, that soon deteriorated when rumours about Professor Henry began to circle around. Rumours of him being a playboy circulated around the student body and after a month of him being there - you would find a new girl or boy claiming that he'd slept with them. Sure, they may not have been true but who cared? It was cool to be associated with the professor of 18th century studies.

  What happens when a trust fund child fails high school and can't seem to find a place to take her in? She forces her way in, some may say it was through daddies money but she would claim that it was through hard work and determination that she found herself working at Windsor Academy. As one of the youngest staff members, Alice manages Windsor Academy's grand library and oversees what exactly goes on. Her work is closely linked to the English department.
  
  Professor Sir Montgomery Scott
  

  

  
  He was knighted by the queen herself. Surely he earned that title through prestigious and hard work - right? Well, whatever the case, people always knew deep down that Scott was a shady character. What they didn't know was how deep the rabbit hole went, or how that rabbit hole was indeed a shallow grave of his own making. And on Sunday morning, he was finally laid to rest in it.

• Student Council President: Charles Winchester
  

  

  
  Student Council President Charles Winchester is known for being an uncaring, egotistical, selfish asshole. No, really - someone once broke into said presidents dorm room and graffitied it all over his walls. The president only ever seems to care about himself and is usually entirely unsympathetic to the plights of others. For someone who has been given a lot of power, he doesn't really seem to use it on anything. He is also known to have an extreme distaste towards scholarship students.
  
  Student Council Vice President: Alex Park
  

  

  
  If Charles is fire than Alex is water. Alex is kind and caring. He's the ultimate boy next door and unlike his superior, he always wants to listen to the students around him. Though, it usually comes with a preface of "I can only bring forward your ideas. At the end of the day, Charles gets the deciding vote". He's definitely someone you want on your side as he always puts 100% into everything he does without complaints or conditions. The only thing he does care for is people with a lack of loyalty.

  No one actually knows what she does. You'll usually catch her following both Charles and Alex around, however she is adamant on insisting that she is the reason that student council stays afloat and that she does all the work. She has a very dry personality and if you ever find yourself in the library at exactly 3pm on a Friday, you'll catch her stress chewing on her own hair as she reads through last weeks accounting books.​
