Answered why LGBTQ tag every where

I think most on here use it to show that their RP's are LGBTQA+ friendly.

Considering that the site doesn't allow smut at all...why would every single LGBTQ+ tagged post be 'just smut'?

On another note, why there are so many straight threads as well? They all just seem to lead to smut anyway, more than LGBT+, even. :^)

It's not uncommon for people to roleplay romance plots but it has nothing to do with smut or actual dating.

Before assuming things, it would be advised to familiarize yourself with Community Guidelines and Recruitment Rules.

The site rules clearly state that any kind of erotic content or "smut" is forbidden and will result in account suspensions and bans.

No Erotic Content
When users officially register to create an account to use RpNation's services they must verify that they agree and understand that RpNation does not permit erotic content of any kind. This is applies to the entirety of RpNation's webspace; including PMs and the Private Workshop. Additionally RpNation's webspace cannot be used to solicit to take such content off-site. If you are asking for smut, erp (erotic roleplay), drp (dirty roleplay), lemons/limes, NSFW, cybering, cyber sex, or any kind of sexual roleplay you will have warnings and infractions applied to your account. This also includes the usage and inclusions of sexual words/phrases as well as listing kinks and/or fetishes or very clearly implying your intent is for erotic roleplay.

The rules also state that this site is not used for dating.
RpNation is not a dating website. Users who join and post content requesting or stating that they are here to get a significant other or anything to do with their sole purpose being to get involved in an intimate relationship should remember this isn't a dating site, this is a roleplaying site.

The site promotes positive environment where everyone should feel welcome and safe. Adding LGBTQ+ tag only means that LGBTQ+ characters are welcome in the roleplay and has nothing to do with smut or dating.

If someone does not want to be in a roleplay that includes LGBTQ+ characters they have the right to not join it.

Certain topics may be uncomfortable to some and should a polite request to end or switch topics happen, this request should be respected. This is allowable should the subject of the thread begin to go off-topic, become disrespectful, or volatile. If requested to end or switch topics, users have the option to continue elsewhere; such as private messages.

Content or conduct that discriminates or encourages harassment, abuse, or violence is considered hateful conduct and is not permitted.

It is also okay to ask to stop discussing certain topics if you find them uncomfortable or to put certain users on ignore if you don't want to see their content. But it is not permitted to attack and demean other people.
