YOU’RE SO DAMN COLD
avery
The Isle of Armor; it was quiet as always, apart from bustling with the movements and sounds of a variety of wild pokémon. The Fields of Honor were relatively sunny, with the sun's rays beating down on the island and warming the air considerably, making it a perfect day for exploring and visiting the island's Master Dojo. In fact, said dojo was expecting a new student today... and let's just say, one particular current student wasn't too thrilled about it.
If he was being honest with himself, there were plenty of other things that Master Dojo student Avery could think of doing today that were better than this. Training perhaps... but no, Master Mustard had given him the task of meeting, greeting, and escorting a new student to the Master Dojo upon their arrival. Truthfully, he does not want to do it. He isn't exactly the super talkative type. However, he must admit that he's somewhat looking forward to crushing this new student in a pokémon battle. It truly would be entertaining, after all.
With his pokéballs rotating and orbiting in the air around his ridiculously tall top hat per usual, Avery rather slowly makes his way across the Fields of Honor to the Armor Station to await the arrival of the new student. What was their name... Belle, right? At least that's what he was told by Mustard... oh well, he knows who he's looking for, at the very least. She could be arriving at any minute now. He's hoping that this won't take long, so that he can get back to his private training back in the Potbottom Desert, on the other side of the island.
Finally, he reaches the entrance to the Armor Station. He decides that he'd rather just wait outside for the newcomer, so he finds a place to patiently stand and wait by the station's entrance. Hopefully, she wouldn't keep him waiting too long, for he already feels pretty inconvenienced by this.
Seriously, why me? I mean... probably because I'm Mustard's star student obviously, but still! I have better things to do than this...
