Baek Eun-haShe is delightfully chaotic; a beautiful mess

About/Personality

VIRTUES: free spirited - adventurous - creative

VICES: fiery - stubborn - envious - rebellious

Eun-ha isn't your typical princess. She's not like the ones in movies, that seem like they can't do anything for themselves, that always needs a prince to get them out of trouble. No, this girl clearly doesn't need a man to help her get out of trouble. Known to be quite the troublemaker, Eun-ha tries not to be tied down by her 'duties as the heir' as it's really no fun at all. Eun-ha really just doesn't fit the typical title as a princess. She's wild and free spirited, wanting to travel the world, learn about new cultures, form new bonds with other worldly people. It was just a dream of her's since she was small. Though her dream can't really become a reality, which means her adventurous nature tends to get her into trouble, mostly with her parents of course.

You see, like most good princesses, Eun-ha knows how to switch her personality just like that. She's very good at hiding how she feels and tends to lie without even a second thought. This is because of the constant fighting she experienced with her parents as they didn't appreciate it when their daughter was acting more like a boy than a princess. She is quite the misfit, with her tomboyish appearance and personality. Rough around the edges but caring on the inside. Eun-ha tends to distance herself from those of high status, feeling suffocated whenever around them. Her desire to never be tied down to something she doesn't love causes her to appear a bit cold and distant. She's incredibly stubborn and tends to act worse if someone points out her bad attitude.

But is there a reason behind her strong attitude towards those with a higher or royal status? Possibly. You see, Eun-ha never felt like she belonged. She was always the black sheep of the family despite being the oldest. She was always different, she wasn't the perfect princess. And well in all honesty, seeing these perfect royals, lords, and ladies, it sparked a dangerous emotion inside of her. Envy. Raw jealousy of these perfect people. She would often ask herself 'why can't I be more like them? my parents would like me better if I was'. She was consumed by a jealousy she had never experienced before. The seed grew and grew until there was nothing left but a strong negative disposition towards the other royals. However she never really was able to identify the reason behind her negative feelings. Perhaps it was because being fully accepted wasn't really something that she got.

She is quite the interesting girl, having always been obsessed with sports rather than more feminine things such as cooking or sewing. She was always convincing the boys on the playground to let her join their game of soccer or as she'd say she'd slug them. This princess has a cheek to her, often coming with an attitude that will leave you speechless. Of course she can be very lady like when she needs to be, but often when around boys, she sort of lets loose. You must understand that Eun-ha hates the suffocating life as a princess. She prefers to do whatever she wants, be who she is without people crowding around her. So she became your modern day Mulan. That's right, this girl has a trick up her sleeve. Always thinking outside of the box this one.

Appearance

Height: 5'5" | 170 cm
Weight: 114 lbs | 52 kg
Hair: Brown with highlights
Eyes: Dark brown
Distinguishing Marks: Eyes and smile

STYLE: Hella stylish, has tomboyish flare to it

Eun-ha wearing a dress so elegant it could make you stop in your tracks. Dark brown hair gracefully styled, eyes warm and welcoming, voice soft and lady-like. Ah yes, the perfectly beautiful princess right? Wrong! Eun-ha is nothing like this in reality. She doesn't enjoy wearing gobs of makeup, likes to wear ripped jeans, a baggy shirt and baseball cap over a dress any day. She's someone who isn't easily put into a dress, often fighting her mother about the outfit. She really doesn't enjoy girly things and prefers comfort over looking like a proper princess. Now that I've caught your attention, let's dive deeper into this girl's unique appearance.

Eun-ha is around the average height of a woman, standing at 5'5" and weighing just over 114 pounds. She tends to be considered far taller than she actually is due to the fact she has long legs and arms, but they aren't awkwardly long as some may believe. Her body resembles that of a dancer's, very slender, flexible, long, and in shape. Her body shape is something she is surprisingly proud in. While most women crave for a larger bust, small waist, and a decent sized waist, Eun-ha is perfectly happy with her boyish body. Often considered to be more rectangular in shape, Eun-ha lacks womanly curves.

Her bust is quite small compared to most women, her waist barely defined, her stomach flat and abs of justice complimenting her tanned skin. Her legs are shaped quite nicely, being quite the catch due to the long days swimming, toning the lean limbs. Eun-ha's arms are slender, shoulders not too broad, but not too slender either. Collarbones are very prominent on this woman, tending to be quite the eye catcher if you are able to catch a glimpse. While her body shape may not be what we deem sexy, it has it's own desirable qualities to it. It's not like she's got the body of a boy. No, she's fully developed and womanly with a nice bust and butt, however they aren't as 'curvy' or 'sexy' as the stereotypes paint women to be. Eun-ha has an athletic body, a body that is always in shape, lean, defined, limber, always up for whatever task is at hand.

As it's rather boring to describe the basic traits of a person, we will briefly touch bases on it before talking about her other qualities. Eun-ha's eyes are a deep espresso brown, often people complaining about how dark they are. Her skin is lightly tanned all year round due to her spending most of her time outside, but it's a healthy glow. However it gets darker during the summer time when she really is outside all day, playing water sports if she's allowed to. Eun-ha's hair reaches past her shoulders and has a beach like appearance to it. It's been naturally highlighted and dyed by hand by her stylist. The mixture of blonde and light browns give Eun-ha a vibe that makes her belong at the beach. She is a fanatic for the beach and often begs to go there during the summer, giving her that signature beach look that she loves. Her lips are considered pouty, often showing a natural pout, especially when bored. They are colored a muted rose color, giving her some feminine coloring. Her eyes droop more than would think from a princess. They are considered to be 'puppy dog eyes' and can be alluring or sweet. Strong straight eyebrows sit above her dark eyes, though they are thinner than most women's, and have a slight Western arch to them.

Both of her ears are pierced, them having been pierced in various places. She started to get her piercings when she was 12 years old after threatening to chop off all of her hair. The girl enjoyed how they looked on her and would always ask for more, even piercing herself if she really wanted to. Eun-ha was always rebellious and scared her mother half to death after getting a tattoo painted on her wrist which naturally made the queen want to faint, thinking that her then 16 year old daughter had gotten a tattoo. Eun-ha doesn't have a birth mark however she does have faint freckles that are mostly covered up with makeup, but are more noticeable during the summer. She mostly has scars on her legs due to falling off her surfboard when she first learned how to surf, always managing to smack into rocks or something sharp.

LIKES Sports - surfing - judo - amusement parks - adventure - the outdoors - snowboarding

DISLIKESLarge dogs - falling in love - spiders - dresses - a lot of makeup - cheesy things - no sports - when she can't see a baseball game

QUIRKSCan't look people in the eye when embarrassed - runs away if uncomfortable - holds onto a part of her clothing if she's really upset - lies about a lot of things when she's scared of becoming attached - stress eats

FEARSLarge dogs // when she was younger, a stray dog had knocked her down and almost 'attacked' her. it scarred her as she was too young to understand the dog was simply being affectionate as it loved little kids.

Spiders // she may act tough, but Eun-ha hates spiders and it's really the only time she will be running away and screaming for someone to take it outside or kill it.

Attachment // Eun-ha has no luck with people, she always chooses the people who aren't any good for her. Becoming attached to someone good, someone she truly loves, it scares her a lot.

History

Born on March 15th, Eun-ha was an odd one. Don't get me wrong, she was a beautiful baby. Those dark eyes, soft freckles dusting her flushed face. She was the pride and joy of the kingdom. A bubbly baby girl had been born after all, what was not to love? Eun-ha honestly wasn't like most babies. She rarely cried and was often silent, occupying herself with staring at the most random things, or would simply hold onto to something or someone. As she got older, the girl was getting into trouble more often than not. She was the type of child that was constantly finding things she shouldn't and would hurt herself if her parents or nanny didn't notice she was about to hurt herself with a letter opener. Eun-ha was sort of a dangerous baby, always needing to be supervised. Well, not like that changed much as she got older.

When Eun-ha was in middle school, she could only cause trouble. The girl was known for her rebellious ways even in elementary school, when she threatened to hit the boys who didn't want to let her play soccer with them. She was always managing to run away from the royal dresser whenever she'd come to force the dress onto the princess. She'd almost get into fights with boys at school, only to be broken up by teachers. She threatened to run away from her parents if they sent her to an all girl's school, and she was just a fire that they couldn't contain. Of course, some people would be glad that she wasn't a pathetic girl that wasn't throwing herself at the nearest prince. But her parents, well they wished she was more like that. Eun-ha wanted nothing to do with the boys she met, or at least that her parents introduced her to. She was always very rude to them, despite trying her hardest not to. It was a constant struggle to even tolerate her own distant cousins which would come for a visit. Her stubbornness on hating the royal life was strong in middle school, but died out a little in high school. Why?

That's because Eun-bi was becoming the princess everyone wanted. In her third year of elementary school, Eun-ha was introduced to her beautiful little sister who was the definition of a princess. Even as a baby she was beautiful. Unlike her older sister of 8, Eun-bi was fair skinned, without freckles, bright hazel eyes, and a laugh that could make flowers grow. Eun-ha loved her sister of course, but she hated how easily this baby was groomed to become a princess. By the time Eun-ha was a senior in high school, her 10 year old sister was far prettier and more loved as a princess than she ever was. This caused Eun-ha to feel jealously towards her younger sister. After all, the girl was eight years yougner than her, but she probably had more rain checks for her hand in marriage than Eun-ha had ever received. The rebellious fire inside had been ignited more, but this time was gasoline. It burned her life, till it consumed her so much that her parents couldn't stand it anymore.

Eun-ha was forced to spend her senior year in an all girl's school, where she was force fed manners with a damn shovel. The girl wasn't happy in the slightest, though there was no way to escape the schooling. Finally when she went home, Eun-ha knew what she needed to do. Over the years she had become an expert liar. Always able to mask her feelings, able to become a princess if it meant she didn't have to have the stupid punishment of walking around while balancing a book or three on her head. So she apologized. She apologized to her parents, though it made her fingers dig into the palms of her hands from how much she hated saying she was wrong. But everything got better. The rebellious girl had been calmed. She was allowed to do the things she used to do. This included living at the family's little retreat at one of the various beaches that made Atrya such a beautiful and desirable place. Spending hours with the waves lapping at her skin, the sun marking her body with it's unmistakable brand. It was perfect. Or at least it was until she faced reality and was reminded that she in fact needed to be married to a prince. Not just any prince, but one of the various ones that she was going to be forced to meet. Ah, what did she do to deserve this life?

- - - Her Ex-Boyfriend - - -

In her sophomore year of high school, Eun-ha met Minseok when she was off at a baseball game. With her hair tucked underneath a baseball cap, and wearing only casual clothes without makeup, it was hard to imagine she was a princess. But Minseok didn't care either way. The sparks between them were a mixture of passion, curiosity, and dipping into something so much deeper than either imagined. He was older than her by far, probably in his early twenties already. But there was no age when it came to love right? Love that Eun-ha shouldn't have been part of. His tattooed body, the scent of beer on his breath, with a hint of smoke which always became his personal scent of cologne, she fell for him. Eun-ha was quiet that year with her parents. She didn't want to draw attention to herself or her boyfriend. Their relationship lasted till she was a junior. It was perfect.

The thrill of sneaking around, managing to sneak out to meet with him, it was such a thrilling experience that Eun-ha became blinded. She didn't understand what was wrong with this love. But Minseok was a broken man. He came with history, history that didn't need to be repeated. His calloused fingers burned Eun-ha's tanned skin, his smokey breath intoxicated her. He didn't have her drink or smoke, he didn't force her into anything sexual, he only tainted her. Tainted her with his very being. He kept her close with baited breath, never giving her more than a taste of the pain he could cause. Eun-ha never listened to him anyways. She was always saying he wouldn't hurt her. But he did. So many times. He'd be drunk, he'd be reckless, hurtful. He'd be with other women, sometimes three at a time when Eun-ha would come over, beer bottles littered across his house.

It wasn't normal for Eun-ha to see that. She would scream, yelled, throw something at him, yelling for those women to leave. They would, leaving her with a drunken or high man that had no fight in his body. She would be a mess, grabbing his shirt, yanking him to his feet, slapping him, yelling at him, asking why he hurt her like this. But every time he would trap her against that wall, his tattooed fingers gently running back through her hair, his words soft as he apologized. But finally Eun-ha couldn't handle it anymore. One day she never went back. She never went back to the place where an intracte rose was painted on the wall, the memories of the pair deciding how to decorate the wall, him deciding on this rose. She left without a word. Still, she didn't erase him from her life. He was too important to her to forget. He had loved her so much, in his own way, but the love was true. It just was too toxic for her to understand, for her to accept.
