In the year 2020 the earth changed basically overnight. We learned the hard way that we werent alone in the universe. Our warning systems and eyes in the sky counted for nothing as hundreds of ships came out of some form of slip stream near mars. A massive invasion force was launched into eurasia, most of them fell in China who promptly drafted their entire population into their armed forces. This also seemed to count for nothing as well, the aliens were already in our heads before the first bullet left its rifles muzzle. Millions fell by the day and humanity found themselves on the recieving end of an ass whooping that would be remembered for generations. However a breif flicker of hope was seen, certain people were very effective against the Aliens. Those who had trained themselves in combat to the point where it came instinctually. Mostly martial artist and generational soldier families. It seemed that while they could read thoughts the aliens had a hard time dealing with the unthinking.
It took 7 months but eventually china's government fell and the continent groaned as they turned their sights on the natiins neighbors without missing a beat. That was when the West began to plan and organize their counter strategy. After realizing their technology wasnt going to help they began to invest in people. All branches of military were combined into the Army of Humanity. Het rather than investing in tech and new weapons they began taking the young humans orphaned by the fall of a nation mixing them in with the unwanted and abandoned childrem around the world. The children would be raised in training for the sole purpose of exterminating the alien hordes. They would be the saints our hail mary call to victory.
It is now 2045, despite the shipment of troops, resources, and military assets to the front line nations from the rest of the world, nations fell one by one. Now Europe has fallen into the crosshairs of assaults from the conquered east and south. Time seems to have run out for planning, however they dont need more time, the Saints are finally complete and are in their prime. Theu are remarkable warriors, able to make our best marines look like children playing soldier, but the question is can they do the same to the invaders who took their home, parents, and futures from them? We find out now as ten million saints fly and sail across the atlantic to bolster the european front lines. With them is the best weapons and armor technology man could muster up, no two units are the same as the troops handpick their equipment and load outs. There is no strategy as the invaders would know it as soon as they did, there is only one thing for them to do...Fight.
(Hiya guys welcome to The Saints. This Rp is gonna be a gritty dark war for the planet earth against an alien skorge who we dont quite understand yet. Ill have more data on the aliens soon enough. You will be playing the role of one of the Saints, you were basocally taken from birth or close to it and raised in bootcamp training for war with these things. You watched as others persshed trying to make the cut, you grew up hearing of the horrors of war, of billions having died, all the while being told that you were the one who was gonna save humanity.
However not all the characters in this rp need be saints. If you want to be a normal human caught up in this bullcrap go on ahead, aliens will not be playable but we do need many other roles. This will be a relatively sandbox style war rp and i am lookimg for a co-gm who can help me to control the Aliens while also playing a Player character so if you think you can do that message me. Eventually ill get around to putting up a discord. As of yet there are no superpowers on the story. If that does change in the future it wont be with mystical forces or with Serums but rather through reverse engineering alien technologies. Im open to ideas and suggestions for any and everything so if this seems to he your style sound off and tell me what you wanna see in the rp.)
