Looking around the area, Umeko supposed this wouldn't be an easy place to defend from. Granted, the sand dunes gave cover, however minutely, but most of it was simply open land. There wasn't much cover to be seen. Her thoughts were distracted when she heard Bella take Finn aside and explain her inability to swim. One would think, when living on an island and constantly taking a boat to another island, swimming was one of the necessities that everyone learned, in case of emergency. Then again, Umeko understood that some of them had fear of water, which oddly enough, was pretty much solved by learning to swim. But learning requires getting in the water first, so... it was an odd dilemma.

Zipping up her backpack after checking all her items were accounted for, Umeko stepped towards the water. Should she take her shoes off? Should she not? The water that would get trapped between her feet and the soles of her shoes would make noises. If she was to be sneaky, perhaps it was best if she didn't wear shoes while swimming. Sitting down, she unzipped her backpack, and removed her shoes and socks, putting them inside the backpack and once again zipping it back up. There, problem solved. She'll go barefoot if there wasn't enough time to put the shoes back on in the train.

Yuki stood around, not really wanting to volunteer to go with his sister to pick up the Oracle, but not wanting to let her show off, either, like he knew she sometimes did. In a sense, he supposed it was okay, but a part of him begrudgingly hated when she did so, flaunting her power that he didn't possess for everyone else to see. Gritting his teeth, his grip on his glaive tightened, but he remained silent. Not now. Not here. He'd strike her when she didn't expect it, where no one would see. Then, perhaps, he would be able to acquire her power for himself...

FINNEGAN BROWN

"Tch," Finnegan scowled to himself, "I'm sorry, but this isn't the time for a pep talk." He mumbled, averting his gaze again. Finn crossed his arms and gazed into the water, waiting for everyone else to come. He took a quick look at the other squads, hoping they'd be alright too.

"If you have anything that you wouldn't want getting wet, you can stow them away for now."

"If you have anything that you wouldn't want getting wet, you can stow them away for now."
Bellatrix sighed sadly, it annoyed her that he didn't even accept that he had emotions. She felt a bit of anger, but pushed it aside. "Its fine Finn. I won't force you. But if you should ever need someone to talk to, I'm there, no matter what it is about. And I won't give up, just so you know. I'll be your friend, no matter what you say. Because everyone needs a friend, no matter how strong one is." She then shrugged and made a rapid movement to the side with her arm. Metal claws shot out of the back of her hand, covering her hand in a metal glove. Above every finger there was a claw now, except for the thumb. The glove covered it to her wrist and her fingers were still able to grab things. She was still holding Finns hand with her other one. "I don't have anything with me but my weapons. I don't need more." She thought about taking of her shoes because of the wet noises, but she could just fly and prevent them.

ELIAS SACHETS

Once Elias was on the other side of the portal, she silently made her way to where her squad was assembling. She looked around, identifying who was in which team. Secretly, Elias was relieved that she wasn't in squad one, since she was no good at combating. She was happy that she wasn't in squad two for two reasons- One being she was useless at fighting, and two being Blue.

Blue had a reputation among... well everyone. And frankly, Elias was terrified of him. She knew he wouldn't potentially harm his allies, but his reputation of a womanizer made her stay away from him. She had her reasons for relief though. She was invisible, and that no guy would want a klutzy introvert.

Elias slipped off her shoes, and only after that did she realise that she had left her bag back at home. Oh poop...
Her face paled and her shoulders hung as she realised her mistake. Well... At least I don't have to worry about getting them cleaned.

The Mission
The sword beacon draws both Mason and Jayden into the beam and flickers out, thus causing everyone to be in the mission area. They were spit out in a sand dune right before the waterfall the kids had to be pushed down by.
IMG_1166.JPG
It was at that moment Blue remembered a crucial detail from the scroll. "Oh, guys I forgot. The underwater realm, to get there you have to let the waterfall push you beneath the surface. It'll push you into the realm, that's what the scroll said." The sun was still going down and they were running out of more time. "So now that the beacon is gone, tha-" A rumbling could be heard and the ground itself was shaking. The troops were returning to the base after patrolling far out in the desert. An army...of Spartans.
IMG_1484.JPG
One of the most formidable armies back in their time. This time since they're here in a post apocalyptic scene, they couldn't be just human anymore. Blue stops talking and his cocky smile grew even wider, deciding to add moral instead of addressing how fucked they were. "Gaea expects three of us to take on an army of Spartans. After 300 was movie we watched last week for movie night?! It seems like Gaea has finally acknowledged our power. Seems like Squad 1 & 3 should get a move on! I guess this means mission start." Blue raises his bow and notches an arrow made of light. This was a fade arrow that went intangible and invisible through the frontal defense line, piercing the neck of a spartan right behind them. He notched an explosive arrow and fires, notching three other arrows afterwards to fire tri-force. The triangular screen pushes the explosive arrow into the front line, making he arrow blow up upon their shields. The triangular screen pushes the explosion forward, causing a part of the front line to be blown apart.

Blue turns to those who are not in the defensive squad. "Well, what are you waiting for? A goodbye kiss?! Not that I'd mind that if you want to but get your ass in gear!" FINNEGAN BROWN

Finnegan cursed under his breath before yelling, "EVERYONE MOVE IT!" He dragged Bellatrix with him as he jumped into the water, swimming towards the waterfall. Right now, both squad 1 and 3 needed to get to the trains that was their first checkpoint. He held onto Bella as he waited near the waterfall till every single member of both teams got through.

Pausing to take one final look at Squad 2, Finnegan closed his eyes and let the falls push him underneath. He had faith that the trio would do a good job, but he prayed for all the help they could get. Once he felt the land beneath his shoes, Finn looked up at the way they came. He didn't have the time to hate his surroundings, feel his discomfort creeping in, or even think about it.

"Okay everyone, to train B," He said, striding towards the train. "Squads 1 and 3, remember your plan. Don't mess this up, and don't die."

The kids ended up in the center of the train station, right in front of the white tree. The train had already pulled up and would leave in 10 minutes. It was right up the many flights of stairs, beyond the archway where all the fish were headed. The kids were dry and could breathe, they could also move at regular speeds. Now all they had to do was get on the B train and wait until their respective stops. Squad 3, stop 13. Squad 1, stop 15. Kristov slowly turned to face the Spartans. "Oh gods..." He watched Blue immediately jump to work, and Kristov gulped. His tense form could be mistaken as fear. But the empty, hungry, focused gaze he gave the onslaught... "Lets go, lets go, lets go" He quickly said. Once he contained himself once more his gazed turned to the setting sun. Bathing in its cooling warmth one last time. "Time to go! Team I'll see you on the other side!" And with a dash he ran to the waterfall and leaped as far as he could to the waterfall itself, letting it catch and push him down the water with... impressive force.

Once he was through, Kristov looked around and just took in the scene of the underwater base. The white tree behind them was beautiful. His hand reached up to its branches and dragged his fingers across. Eyeing everything, he realized the train was a hot step away. He needed to wait for his team he was sure. They would be here soon

ELIAS SACHETS

Elias shrieked as she went through the waterfall. She held her breath underwater for a moment before realising that she would be able to breath underwater. O-Oh... right.

She looked around, immediately falling in love with her surroundings. Why couldn't have I been born as a mermaid? She giggled, staring at the momentous and beautiful structures before her.

Elizabeth wasn't afraid of water, she knew she could handle that. But the sensation... the disconnect from the heavens would be very uncomfortable. The symbols of her blade began to glow brightly rapidly as she focused on a particular asterism, the handle of the Big Dipper, star pair Mizar and Alcor. Once the entire blade began to glow near blindingly as before she drew her right blade and arced her hand as she raised it above her head and to the sky. The symbol of a star's power bursting out engraved within the metal too was as bright as her left blade. She pointed it to Blue and blasted forth a beam of stellar energy. It hit his back painlessly and turned him into a decent light bulb, their element of surprise was gone anyways, and around his body far enough if he extended both arms he still wouldn't touch them, two balls of light, two warm little stars swirled around him. Giving him a power source, however limited it may be. He didn't need it now, but if the fight dragged into darkness, he would then. She didn't expect nor wait for a thank you, she just bolted after Kristov to the water. Similar to him, but without the grace of gliding all the way to the falls, she jumped what she could and crashed into the water. Her feet kicked her up and she swam to the fall, letting it push her as Blue told.

Surveying what she saw next was.. interesting to say the least. She could feel the asterism still with Blue, so she couldn't draw power back to her blade. Looks like she would have to be an assault after all.

The first thing that Ruina noticed upon being teleported by the Sword Beacon was the sheer vastness of the desert they were in. She found it absolutely gorgeous, and thoughts of the wonderful process known as desertification came to mind. There was nothing better than creating a hostile, nigh uninhabitable environment. Destruction truly was beautiful. However, such thoughts were quickly interrupted when the ground began to rumble and shake.

An army was quickly approaching, reminding her of their mission. "Ah, that's right." She said to herself as she was brought back to reality, and turned her attention to the large waterfall before them. After taking a moment to listen to Blue's words and yelling "Good luck!" to Squad 2, she jumped into the water and quickly began to swim towards the waterfall. Letting the waterfall push her down, as instructed, she soon arrived at the train station.

"Got it, Finn!" She replied enthusiastically to the Alpha's words, before rushing to the train herself. She was hardly able to contain her excitement. The prospect of getting to break things without restraint made her feel giddy. Perhaps she'll even get to break Python.

Alexios Silverjoy
Alexios watch as more and more of the group began passing through the teleporter it was almost time, he couldn't wait the smile on his face well if it grew much larger he would probably break something. As everyone finally arrived Alexios couldn't wait for this to get started. He brandishing his huge slab of iron of a sword and stared forward looking away from the waterfall he didn't care about that his job was to stop anyone or thing from getting to there and that's what he would do. It was then that he heard it, the sound of marching. Alexios eyes narrowed as he saw his foe Spartans the smile on his face turned to a devilish smirk and his eyes went faded and serious. Alexios listened to Blue and just smirked as what he said Blue was sometimes rather amusing to listen too...sometimes. "Lets see just how strong these Spartans really are." Alexios watching as Blue started doing his thing. Alexios slowly started walking forward, his sword he held one handed placed across his shoulders and his shirt...was still non-existent but his muscular body could be seen. Alexios quite a bit a head of Blue and Avice the plan would come into place soon and against enemies that have a close formation like the Spartans well it would work well allowing one swing to hit many.

Chloe Vain
A sigh escaped Chloe lips as everyone got to the Sword Beacon that meant it was about time to start which to her was the worst news, Chloe was lazy well lazy was an understatement she hated pretty much doing anything well other than flirting that she loved. Chloe knew her teammates, knew her role but what she didn't know was what the mission really was, what they we're infiltrating or just about anything on what everyone was doing. Judging by how everyone but Blue, Avice and Alexios went or we're going through the waterfall she guessed their job was to stop them from being followed but upon seeing their foes Chloe was a little let down, not because they weren't strong but more because that seemed like a job requiring much less effort than what Chloe had to do another sigh escaped her lips as she made her way to the waterfall before it pushed her down under.

Chloe was slightly confused about how she came out dry, able to breath and had no resistance slowing her down but that was all good things in her eyes. Not knowing the mission she decided to stick to Kristov or as she called him Tricky mostly due to his nature and the fact she he was tricky to come up with a nickname for. "Tricky I'm just gonna follow you I have no clue what the real mission is." Chloe said shrugging that was the truth but right now describing it would take time they didn't have the train on the other hand would be a good place to talk about it.

The desert; it seemed colder than Fia had expected as well as calmer - there were no storms, no howling wind and no glaring sun, though Fia put this down to the time of day. There was a waterfall nearby; Fia got up and started padding over to it; there were no other major water bodies in sight, nay was there any other water. This had to be the one mentioned in the scroll. The rest of squad three, including Kristov and Chloe, had arrived in the sands only a few moments after Fia but she carried on walking. Nobody could understand her when she was in this form, trying to talk to them wouldn't help, and the child of Lycaon wasn't exactly keen on confronting Chloe again.
As Fia got to the waterfall, Blue mentioned a crucial piece of information that Fia wasn't exactly enthusiastic about. Let the waterfall push you beneath the surface? This hadn't been Fia's day. She stood at the water's edge, the roaring sound beating in her ears - she was already scared of water, terrified of the prospect of drowning; giving the water noise that sounded like an animal wasn't encouraging. She took a couple of steps back, turning her head to look at... an advancing army. Had she been petrified for that long? Could she help fight them? Fia shook her head; she was being insane, both options were insane.
Finnegan was waiting for all of squads one and three to get through the waterfall. Fia shook her head at him, a clear indication that she wouldn't go into the waterfall, and turned around prowling towards squad two.
So much for plans, Fia thought.
She closed her eyes for a brief moment; combat, fighting... all of that. Much better left to a wild animal than to a hunter without their bow. The wolf opened her eyes a couple of seconds later, now they were a crimson red. She knew who her quarrels were, she recognized their weapons and armour, all facing forwards in a compact formation - herd tactics. She would go to the left side of the formation, pick off any stragglers or any splintering away. These were easy targets, she thought, while the rest would be distracted by the assault of the humans in the front.
The wolf started padding to the formation's left side, leaving a decent distance between it and her, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

Dante' Clark
Dante' took off towards the waterfall. He stepped on the surface of the lake and began to glide across it. He held a cheeky grin as he approached the waterfall. Right before he reached the waterfall he dove into the water and swam towards it being pushed under. After being pushed into the realm by the waterfall, Dante' looks around at his surrounding and instantly felt at home. Dante's body begins floating, and he starts swimming around with speed. There was a big grin upon his face as he swam around. He performed many barrel rolls and loops before he land along side the group. Man this feels good. He said with a huge smile and started walking with the others towards the train.

AVICE
Location: Egypt, Mission Objective
Interactions: Alexios ( Lord Potato Lord Potato ), Blue ( Light Light ), & Fia ( Baconhands Baconhands )

The transport had Avice staggering a bit when they were spat out on the other side, only barely managing to balance herself so she didn't end up eating sand. No one would be able to prove the internal cheering she did; had she actually ended up facedown on the sand, there was no way any of the group would let her live it down.

She barely paid the conversations around her any mind as she surveyed the area. Sand. Sand was everywhere, only to be disturbed by the waterfall. Avice took a moment to admire the intricacy of the wall behind the waterfall. The detailing on the statue itself was beautiful, and the weathered state of and the numerous cracks on its surface did not detract from its beauty. In fact, it made it even more imposing. Add the fact that the setting sun painted the water with its breath-taking colors. Avice could not help but feel that it was a shame that they're only here for a mission.

Her admiration of the area was soon interrupted by the arrival of the Spartan troops. She tore her gaze away from the statue - only managing to get a glimpse of the others disappearing into the waterfall teleporter - as her usual weapon, her trusted bastard sword, slowly materialised in her left hand while a much shorter blade took form on her right.

The sand gave under her feet as she followed after Alexios; taking a second to admire her squad leader's back before her eyes followed the trajectory of Blue's arrows. She caught a glimpse of Fia in her wolf form prowling towards the Spartans. That had her raising an eyebrow, but made no comment on it.

Taking a deep breath, she felt rage beginning to bubble within her; her entire body tingling with the sensation; senses considerably sharpening. That didn't last long, however, as she directed most of the rage towards Alexios and as well as simply inducing the anger lying underneath. That left her with a few remnants of raw energy to manipulate for herself, choosing to enhance her weapons instead of distributing it evenly across her senses. "Let's get to dancing, shall we?" The bold grin on her face was cocky as she tightened her grip on her weapons.

Demon saw the Spartans and laugh. "Have fun guys I would help if I could. Later." He ran after the other into tale water he hated being wet and the waterfall didn't help but luckily the water was gone otherwise he would be coughing it all up. He climbed out of the water and walked over to Dante. "I'll help with Python I'll be useless hunting down an Oracle. I also suggest having beta help since she can be useful." He turned to her. "Unless if you don't think you can." The Elder The Elder DizjayDeathPride DizjayDeathPride

Gaige walked into the water. She called out to the people in group 1 to save anything special from Python and she would reward them. She swam into the waterfall and regretted it. She hated everything about the experience but did it anyway."I hate that. So. Much." She thought she was going to puke her guts out but kept her self going. "I need materials." She opened up her bag regretting not stockin up. She had some explosives, eltronics, metal and a two handed sledge hammer but that wasn't much. "Well looks like this will be hard. If forgot my tools." She remembered running out of her room with everything on her work bench.

He felt as if he had split his head open. His brain spilt upon the deck, adding to its already disgusting wooden tragedy of decoration. Himself bloodied in a pool of crimson, Ellie weeping over him as Jayden pulls her away from the grisly scene. The group leaving him to die, his one true savior, Beta, disowning him for being a failure again. Mason stares into his bleak existence, fading from the world when a caw breaks through his tragic nightmare. The words, "patches", is all that he recognizes as the hazy world comes to him.

Mason was left on the ship. He came to and groggily rose to his feet, the piercing headache intensified. He was going to be late, again! Blast him and his accident prone self. He rushed off, heading to the sword beacons. He watched the last of his companions blinking through the teleporter. Mason could sense the bodies long gone and he wailed as he tumbled to the beacons platform. He rolled into the piercing light and pummeled into sand. His head was buried in sand. He quickly dug himself out, asphyxiating under the fine particles that weighed more than it seemed.

He fixed his hair and dusted himself off, swiveling his head as to the possible direction of the rest of the group. He saw fading footprints in the sand a dozen paces away. He looked up and saw a mountain sized monument of sorts. Mason figured that's where they probably needed to be. He drudges through the shifting sands until he found solid footing on rocks and grass. The waterfall was protruding from the hilt of the sword. Mason saw the defense squad he was previously assigned to. He really wasn't paying attention to anything after the information was given again on the ship, too busy fooling around as Captain Asshook.

The new squad caught him up on the details. He looked onward to see the wave of armor and spears. Mason looked at the current squad and was unsure that even the giant would be able to hold them off for too long. They needed him. They needed Mason's pokies of doom. He stood his ground and was ready to do some poking.

Umeko moved towards the water, but paused, looking back at Squad 2. She saw the Spartans, and bit her lip. Would a team of four really hold up against three hundred well-trained warriors? They didn't nearly have enough defense or firepower to hold them off for long. She looked to her strings. Still static... this day was in flux. Looking back to the water, she watched the rest of Squad 1 and 3 disappear under the water. There was no way Squad 2 was going to survive long enough to keep the exit safe for the squads return.

If that was going to be the case, Umeko wanted to be as close to the transporter as possible, and most definitely not within the monster stronghold. Throwing her bag to a rock by the shore, she neglected to put her shoes back on and went to stand by Blue. "There's no way you're going to possibly hold them all off without help," she stated plainly in a monotone voice. Summoning strings of fate, she tied them around the end of ten arrows. "I'll stay and help." Giving Blue a knowing look, she tilted her head towards the approaching army.

Following the group into the water and below the waterfall, Yuki didn't notice that his sister wasn't following with. Taking out his glaive, he held it at the ready as they made their way to the train station, keeping an eye out for approaching enemies.

Elizabeth was sure set on helping defeat Python, but listening to Demon she considered something: Could she help defeat Python? She was an excellent swordsman even without the heavens, but maybe her skill would be better used quickly getting in and defending those going to get the Oracle."Unless if you don't think you can." "You're right, Demon. As long as Blue is Endowed with Mizar and Alcor I wouldn't be much help with Python. I should help retrieve the Oracle. I mean, I'm forced to have to go in close anyways, right? Might as well be a strong arm to retrieval than a hindrance to defense."

The team was quickly spawning so following the others, Kristov made his way to the train. They needed to hurry. "Tricky I'm just gonna follow you I have no clue what the real mission is." A familiar voice and an unsurprising comment. Kristov spun on his heel and turned to face her but continued to walk backwards. "I'll give you the jist, Three Leaf. We, you and I, need to-" A paranoid thought: the monster stronghold could be bugged. They shouldn't just disclose information so easily. Kuu and he was by her right side, left arm around her, whispering closely to her ear. "-run in and obtain as much information as possible. We only have until team 1 is done. Ever heard of mercantilism? Basically we need to go in and collect collect collect." He removed his arm from her side, but not before tapping her nose ever so gently. "Let's get on that train, ya?"

Blue
Blue grins at Umeko and nods his head in appreciation, examining his upgraded arrows. "Sweet! I think I know exactly what to do with these." Blue has a spell circle appear at his ankle, giving him more mobility with each step. He wraps his bow arm around Umeko and dashes to the right, gliding several feet with one push. He knew it wasn't smart to leave her alone, besides, 10 of these might not be enough. Umeko was now within his arms for protection and when he notches an arrow she can easily tie string around them. He fires fade arrows at different angles through the enemy lines, allowing it to travel much farther than usual. Instead of the arrow being intangible, it was only invisible. There was now an invisible web of death far among the ranks of the enemy line, thus stopping the advancement of most of the army since they'd drop dead. "So what made you decide to stay Umeko, really? You've never actually...how do I put it. Cared about any of us."

The Spartans failed to notice Fia to the side, they were too busy focusing on why their numbers kept dropping dead at random. Their front line of shields didn't falter but the back lines were in disarray. The front line were keeping up their slow approach and their defensive line while they got closer to Alexios. Blue yells out to the rest of the group. "Hey! Don't travel into their lines, we have uh...Umeko's stuff in there. Just defend from their front line and keep the remainder of their army held back that way!" Blue didn't want to point out the fact that they were strings of fate right before the enemy. "We can't do what we intended to do before anymore Alexios, sorry!" Blue floats back over to the center of the group. "Sure most of the army is being held back but we still need to handle the rest of it. We can't just go in their lines anymore since Umeko's power would kill us in the process. Anyone got any bright ideas? I highly doubt Alexios can even use his armour, he might go too mad and dive into a string by accident." Blue could say string now since he was among allies. It was at this moment that the sun went down, thus causing Blue to now rely on the two small stars Elizabeth had given him to draw light from. Umeko was still in his arms and Blue made an arrow of light, handing it to Umeko for her to upgrade it. "Anything cool you can pull out of your butt or something, Mason?" Alexios Silverjoy
As Alexios began his charge the look on his face was one of excitement but in his eyes we're seriousness and well a look of danger. It wasn't everyday one gets to fight an army of Spartan now more than ever with them all being dead, so this...this was something he couldn't wait for. The key to this battle was three things number one Avice she had to keep Alexios induced with rage otherwise when or if he falls then they can proceed, next was Blue he had to keep the foes off Avice if she fell then Alexios' rage would go unless the sprtans manage to build it up finally it would all depend on how well the three could work together one mistake and the Spartan's would be all over them.

As Alexios stood watching his foes he noticed something or more clearly someone that wasn't part of his squad which was strange and a risk he would admit the help was nice but did she know anything they had planned no that's why it was risky if she gets caught out would they be able to save her. Alexios observed her movement quickly watching what she was going to do, it seemed Fia's plan was to pick off straggles which just caused Alexios to shake his head. Spartans don't run were the word ringing in his head over and over but he didn't say it over there she was safer less risk of her getting caught out.

Alexios still was eyeing up his foes before he felt it, the sensation he was so used to anger, rage and madness it felt different it wasn't his own her knew that this was...Avice. Alexios turned his head to face her and nodded he was ready all so ready. Alexios body began almost twisting unnaturally before a dark aura engulfed his whole body hiding him under it. What came out from under the darkness was no longer Alexios but the madness within, armored from head to toe Alexios made his ways toward the Spartans originally walking but after about three steps he began sprinting at a unnatural speed. This wasn't his full speed the necklace he has given by Rhea limits his power slightly but allows him to be reasoned with much easier and more importantly know friend from foe it also let him in this case know that breaking too far away from Avice would be bad while his brain couldn't remember why his instincts told him. Alexios stopped just before the front line of the Spartans just out of range of their spears before he gave them the come at him sigh, was this cockiness no it wasn't that this was madness. Even like this he knew his sword was nearly the length of the average spear, a spear was around seven foot his sword was six foot three. The second the Spartans take a step forward or try and lunge at him he would react swinging his blade and crushing as many spears as possible. Alexios began noticing the enemies troops fall from the back line but he wasn't sure why , sure in this form sometimes he listened and sometimes...sometimes he didn't.

Chloe watch and was just confused as per usual with Kristov he was strange to say the least...but strange can be an attractive trait well sometimes. Chloe watch as he began walking backwards and began to speak she might finally get some information on this mission just as he was getting somewhere with what the mission was he stopped. As per usual Chloe just couldn't keep up with this guy without her really paying attention he was at her right side with an arm over her which she really didn't mind at all but it was more confusion. As Kristov started to whisper close to her ear Chloe got a chill running down her back in a good way she loved it when people whispered in her ear the gentle caress of their breath as they spoke really turned her on. Chloe got the thought out of her head as she listened she finally knew what the mission was. As Kristov removed his arm and tapped her nose Chloe lent in an gave him a small peck on the cheek. "Thanks Tricky I owe you one, lets get on that train." Chloe said as she slowly began walking to the train.

Patience was a virtue, this was always the case, especially when it came to hunting. The wolf continued to move in parallel to the flank of the Spartan army, waiting for an obvious target to expose itself. She didn't have to wait long. A web of invisible destruction had wrought confusion, discord and death among the back lines of the advancing army. Disarray and chaos appeared to take control for a few moments as the Spartans tried to recover from the devastation; some were isolated by a dozen or so metres from the rest of army - the wolf took the opportunity when it presented itself: a downed soldier, his spear and shield flung away from him, still conscious. The wolf sprinted towards her prey, pouncing on the soldier's chest with enough force that a crunch could be heard coming from under the armour. A swift bite at the soldier's neck saw the wolf steal the Spartan's esophogus; her muzzle was quickly spattered with a spray of red.
The clank of metal against metal brought the wolf's attention to an advancing Spartan, spear and shield ready. The wolf took an aggressive stance, teeth exposed - viscera hanging from them. The two circled each other for a moment; the wolf moved first darting forwards. As the spear lunged at her, she dashed quickly off to left, shifted her momentum and came back, clamping her jaw down on to the Spartan's forearm, breaking the bone in two. The man let out a raging roar and brought his shield round, slamming it into the wolf's side, forcing her off of him. If anything was broken, she clearly didn't care. Others were coming to help the Spartan now, the child of Lycaon noticed; she would have grinned if she were human. Her eyes flashed with a violent yellow-white, the moon's light intensifying for a moment, and in an instant a cylinder of bright light appeared, 60 feet high and 40 feet in diameter, engulfing the advancing soldiers in a ghostly blue-purple flame. They burned easily enough. The wolf licked her lips; there were still many more to go.
