Nations

Dosil-

Is a relatively decent sized country about the size of China. It is far to the north east of the globe and the climate is often quite cold if not freezing on an average day to day basis. The government is a bit difficult to explain, although often it is referred to be a theocracy-stratocracy of some sort, although more of the latter than the former since the past fifty years or so. There was and still is a ‘head’ of government who can control entirely what the country does if spoken up though very few common people have seen this ‘head’ of government and often they are referred to as a deity or descended from a deity themselves (Oddly symbols for the head of government often depict a large grey dog). As for most decisions in the past fifty years, haven been taken over by the military. There are smaller governors picked or brought to power by militant voters or military leaders already in power. Technology was around the modern day point if not a bit advanced in military weaponry compared to some of the other nations.

In the past thirty or so decades many immigrants for Migir (mostly the poor) have flocked here often to the havens or rural areas though occasionally to the larger cities some of which have limited roads for cars in favor of trolleys and places easily accessible by walking.

Migir-

Is a recently ‘found’ nation after many years of anarchy and revolutions and is a neighbor to Dosil and a much smaller nation in comparison. Outside of the country, no one seems to keep track of who the government is run by and who is doing what and the government itself seems to be a mixture of plutocracy and aristocracy. The ‘rulers’ in this country are those with the most wealth or usually of a family of great renown, often there is council meetings for large nationwide decisions but otherwise on a lower scale those in power tend to have a sphere of influence of which is under their control. They were once and ally of Dosil along with being a neighbor and their great spirit for fighting pushed them on during the war.

About one third of the population most of which containing the wealthiest or the poorest of Migir, appear to be animal like people that perform and walk about like a regular human mostly of which resemble mammals. These people have little to no real advantage to humans beyond better balancing capabilities. Although, there are various nations with these people there are very few that have them, not as the minority, they have been around since the beginning of memory (or recording of history) and often are just referred to as humans. A few call them ‘Ani-human’ or ‘Migi’ but those are considered offensive slurs.

Caitruvdeamon

Is a ‘country’ but truly an empire to the west, the size of it seeming to be ever expanding as it takes up about one fifth of the world. From how much land it has gathered together, the climate of it varies depending on where you are and often areas are divided up into provinces. Their technological and education is often found relatively low to other modernized countries but its sheer size and power often see it to overrun others. The ‘country’ tries to pride itself in being a democracy, however is quite corrupt and it is argued to be more of a theocracy than Dosil for whom has the higher chances in office. The voters of said country are often at a disadvantage unless fitting what is considered an ‘ideal citizen’ by the government, those who are disadvantaged are people who have been taken over by it in the past, two to three centuries often their vote may be counted as half or not at all and those meeting a religious standard may often see their votes count as double and increase the chance of getting into a political office exponentially.

War

Caitruvdeamon, wanting to expand its empire first began spreading a bunch of propaganda about Dosil and Migir in order to prepare its citizens and soldiers for war. The propaganda was mostly fueled by Dosil’s lack of democracy and possible spreading of their political and religious ideals and of Migir’s instability and how it must be controlled by a strong hand. The troops were quickly rallied and sent off on their way to invade, and mainly targeted civilian cities with no military constructs for easy targets. Dosil was able to fend off for a time with its sheer military technological advantages and knowing of their own lands while being allied with Migir in hopes to hold off the Empire’s abundance of soldiers. A few other countries were asked to help but many of them feared too much about Caitruvdeamon’s power and large armies and thus stayed out of the fight.

The fear and influence started to seep into Migir as a country and soon it began to engulf them. Secretly as Caitruvdeamon promised to aid stability in Migir and spare it from being invaded as well did Migir began to trade and give Caitruvdeamon secrets of various sorts but mostly military secrets from spies that were sent to the neighboring country. Migir had become a traitor under the table, and it took quite some time for Dosil to find this out having well believed the other country to be its ally. Soon Caitruvdeamon had used the stolen military secrets and plans for weaponry to replicate a weapon that was already in Dosil’s possession but too afraid to use. It was an odd bomb, which neither side knew the true capabilities of and most who had been working on creating such had long disappeared without a trace.

Soon this bomb made by Caitruvdeamon was sent on its way to hopefully wipeout Dosil and end the war named ‘Hellish Nightmare’, and the attempts made by Dosil to stop or destroy the bomb had failed. Although, the people of Dosil had not gone without a little bit of fight in them, as their doom approached and rage rose to the surface, they launched two similar mysterious bombs on Caitruvdeamon and Migir the first being named ‘Sweet Dream’ which was sent to Dosil’s neighbor and the second being named ‘World Devourer’ was sent toward Caitruvdeamon’s main capital.

Aftermath

Not much is known or clear about what happened to the other countries but Dosil seems mostly destroyed. The sun light barely gets through dark and thick grey clouds of which and endless flow of snow seems to descend from. Most buildings have been destroyed or damaged in some way or another. The air itself seems to taste and bring a nausea in the most effected of places. About maybe one out of seven people seemed to survive, most of families just vanished from where they were, corpses not even left behind but an odd purple ooze accompanied with a scorch mark from where they may have been sitting down chatting over television or the news just days ago.

Most electricity has stopped working except for some handheld devices of which there is no service for. Most vehicles many of which had relied on electricity as the main source of power (in Dosil) refuse to run at all. Old battery powered radios seem to still work on some level, but all that comes through the speakers is usually a scratchy static that pains the ears. Food, water, shelter, weapons are needed now, scarce as they may be and perhaps staying sane as well. There is no communication with the outside world, there has not been any mention of the government or their ‘divine’ leader. All that is left, is this place and the hell hidden in freezing snow.

Some but very few have been noticing odd creatures and 'people' about...

Rules
1. Try a paragraph per post

2. Something wrong, unsure about something? Or have a possible plot idea that needs help to bring up? Talk to me either through PM (Depending if you want it to be more secretive) or more trustful in OOC but beware it may not happen

3. Don’t take over other characters, don’t godmod, avoid mary suing the basics

4. If busy days are coming up or leaving, try to inform beforehand depending on the situation it will be dealt with differently

5. This rule is to be mostly looked over, but if you come to this roleplay just for Romance you likely want to look elsewhere as it may not be likely to happen nor is it the focus

6. If unsure or need help planning such as where to place a character refer to rule number two

7. While posting a paragraph and more is appreciated, do not write up an essay three to four paragraphs is roughly where the line may be drawn (I may exceed this limit myself as the 'manager' of this thread so sorry if that bothers you)

8. Drama inside the roleplay is perfectly fine, as long as it's not taken to heart (Beware!)

9. That being said drama outside of the roleplay will not be tolerated all too well

10. This is more a vague general rule and may not happen, but beware your character may die or be brought into bad situations so be prepared or brace through it

11. There will also be a post order to be determined later!

12. Post this message: "I am a banana" after your character sheet to show you have read or at least skimmed the rules

13.Characters are no longer allowed to start off with guns or high powered lethal weapons of any sort this will include things such as guns, flamethrowers, bombs, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and so on which may have not been listed. Smaller and or common weapons such as knives, bats, shovels, frying pans are recommended if a weapon of some sort is desired
