  • Nightingales: A very secretive organization which mainly deals in smuggling, contract killings, and pretty much anything else if the pay is good enough. They're most notable, or well known at least, assassin is Dhesyr.
Personality: Cold, Apathetic, A major bitch, ruthless; these are quiet a few things that people say when describing Lyra. But there's no denying the fact that when you want something done that really nobody needs to know about, Lyra is one of the best. She doesn't question anything, her morals are pretty dark, with only a few things she's not willing to do, money can pretty much get her to do anything. However, for the few she cares about, Lyra does her best to be kind, and cares a great deal for their safety.
Backstory: Who knows where she was born, or who the hell her parents are, her earliest memories are from an underground network of slave runners and sex traffickers. Lyra and a few other of the children were bought by the Nightingale's. They needed new members because at the time, the Nightingales were not tje powerjouse that they are today, and in turn, kept losing members. So they decided to rescue childern and train them under intenses circumstances where most wouldnt make it out alive. And when I say most, Lyra is the soul survive of that little investment. Anyway, her training ended when she was 17, when she was finally able to take on actual paid contracts under supervision. After a year, she was able to take on missions herself. When the dark lord or whatever took over, Lyra, or Dhesyr did quiet a bit of his dirty work on behalf of the Nightingales, but last year when his men attacked a Drow/Dark elf city, she ghosted. Dhesyr is still active, but no longer works for the Dark Lord guy, ansniys a he'll of a lot harder to get a hold of her.

PHYSICAL
Appearance: Lyra stands at 5'5", weighs 147 pounds, with a neat hourglass figure. Toned, but not to muscular. She has white hair, deep blue eyes.
Weapons & Armor:

  • Armor:
    • What you see in the picture above. Rather revealing leather and cloth "armor" provided by her superiors. However, it's proved to be useful for the type of movement she uses during combat.
  • Weapons:
    • Short Sword: A steel short sword. Pretty simple concept.
    • Normal Steel Dagger: A normal steel dagger with no special abbilites or attributes.
    • Curved Silver Dagger: This one, you can actually see in the picture above. A curved blade, the pommel is attach to a two foot chain allowing Lyra a form of limited ranged weapon.
    • Crossbow: A pretty normal crossbow made from lightweight but sturdy materials. The bolts are all normal, but Lyra will occasionally get specialized ones depending on what the job requires.

Spells & Magic:
  • Glamor: A simple spell that alters her own appearance into that of a normal looking blonde elf woman. It allows her to easily blend into crowds or infiltrating under certian roles. Of course, the Glamor has a limit. 45 minutes at a time, and the spell cannot be used in rapid secession without enough time to allow the body the recovery time advised.

  • Clones: An illusion spell that allows Lyra to make at least two semi-solid clones to mislead, distract, or even give her the upper hand in some certain cases in combat. However, she needs to be still while casting or else they'll disappear before the allotted three minutes they can stay around. They'll also dissapper after being hit.
  • Ice Magic: While she has skills in other forms of magic, Ice Magic is the type she's been training in the longest. She's able to form and manipulate ice using it as a defensive or offensive asset in battle. She can also freeze some items, like water and metal,but has to be physically touching it in order to do so.
Weaknesses:
  • Racism: Being an elf in a mostly human world is hard enough, but you can at least count on your fellow elves for backup. Unfortunately, being a dark elf, humans and other elves alike are more than prejudice towards Lyra. It's hard to hold her tounge when someone provokes her.

Personality:
Putting it kindly, Vladislav isn't a bright man. As one can suspect brought up in a community that had no time for literature, he was never taught to read nor write or abide by societal rules which can make him seem blunt and harsh. He also appears to completely see past long words, complicated phrases, and occasionally takes metaphors too literally. Nevertheless, calling him entirely stupid would both be insulting and a bad underestimation of his strength of character. He isn't lacking for common sense, nor grasping slightly more complicated thoughts if worded correctly. Yet, most things appear to go over his head - unless you openly badmouth him, in which case be warned his fists are about as unrelenting as a brick wall. He's honestly more proud of being able to drink people under the table than he is over winning wars. Lazlo, through this, is genuinely nice to be around, not fond of seeing those sad who don't deserve such weighty emotions as well as having a major soft-spot for canines and general hatred of cats. Vladislav is a loyal friend and good fighter to have by your side, nonetheless suffers an inner moral turmoil which only increases as more time is spent within the conflict between dark and light, not mentioning his slight obsession and evident passion for causing pain and beating people senseless. It is these thoughts, especially which earn him the reputation of a man with good intention and bad role models. After all, he has the violence of a beast and heart of a hero.

Backstory:
Vladislav was raised amongst the Nomadic tribes of the Grasslands in the East. These communities are unrelenting in their training of boys into men, inducting them as adults by the time they're fourteen and sending them off into the wilderness until they reached manhood on their sixteenth winter - only then can they return home to test their mettle. Undoubtedly some die, others leave for civilisation, yet it's a selection technique which has for centuries proved effective in thinning the herd of cowards and revealing true sons of the plains beneath the blessed sky. Those who return are treated to celebrations and seen as fully fledged spirits, destined to dine in the halls of their ancestors; the ones lost or had taken off -- cast to the winds. Training swiftly begins after the festivities have been concluded. A man, after all, was deemed no good unless he could hunt and fight, or prove his skills in something relevant and helpful to the community. Young Vlad, thankfully took after his own father with a furious temper and was immediately chosen to continue the line of beserkers. Refining and honing the rage till it could be applied in battle as a fearsome tactic.

Born into a big family, as is typical of these travellers, Lazlo's childhood was never dull. Raised amongst blades, desensitised to obscene hunting displays and executions or maimings of a violent justice system that took the warriors code to extremes. The tribes, after all, war amongst themselves or those who live on the fringes and in the homesteads on the land of these Nomads' fathers and forefathers. They oft fight to the death amongst each other, practising wrestling and swordplay from as young as seven, which meant half of Vlad's friends had died before the age of thirteen from games gone too far. Another reason as to why it was expected of mothers to have the average brood of around five. The tribes tame wild horses for outside income, as well as using their particular fighting style to become mercenaries. One of the few occupations which can be seen as matching a 'grey' area of being honourable for selling the skill of their extensive, secretive training.

Initially, Vlad became a jack of all trades, dabbling in fighting, carpentry and the spiritual tradition of tattooing, becoming betrothed to a woman he expected to marry. Alas, the shadow of Morelli cast itself far and wide. Eventually, it came to lie upon them too. Not even the grasslands could offer safety, nor moving place to place. The Nomads put up plenty of resistance, until the day the darkness caught them. They simply vanished - so to speak. Into the mountains, hiding amongst the forests and woodlands, in secluded valleys. Nomads don't think of the outside. Nomads don't like the outside. But Vladislav was never the sort of man to hide. He abandoned his tribe, much to the disappointment of his father. Stripped of his place in the halls of their ancestors, the warrior knew there was more to life than playing a game of fate, waiting for something that may never come to fruition. Vladislav desired more. Perhaps to choose what was right, or satiate some deep inner curiosity to see the world as it was. He quickly became a popular employee for a mercenary group; slowly coming to terms with civilisation. As it appears, you can't just punch someone to make everything right.

Appearance:
Standing at the impressive, albeit intimidating height of 6'6" weighing over 200 pounds, Vladislav on first impressions appears somewhat ruggedly handsome. That is, till you get to know his personality and it becomes a one-dimensional freakshow of someone obsessed with hitting things that both should and shouldn't be hit. Cinnamon-hue eyes, framed with lashes that appear to be the envy of every woman, sit atop strong graciously curved cheekbones that add an almost bear-like visage to his profile. A firm jaw concealed beneath well-groomed facial hair underlies a slightly crooked nose from having it broken one too many times in combat during his younger years, whilst ebony locks cup his features in an alluringly dark fashion - accompanied by few braids and decorative pieces that wind around the strands. Broad chest and shoulders exhibit the history of a fighting man, covered in scars and markings of conflicts past and present; tattooed to the nines, from half-way up his neck to the bottom of his calves, most of which he's created himself -- more often than not can be found completing these designs during the evenings as a sort of 'wind-down' and meditation.

Weapons & Armor:
- Prefers to wear light armour as depicted, putting movement and stamina over general safety. He's far more willing to obtain a few more wounds as long as he gets the job done, and has fun while doing it. The slightly heavier additions to the shoulders, however, are not just for decoration as Vladislav throws himself wholeheartedly into combat and thus needs further protection of his neck and from up-close tackles.
- A fan of dual-wielding axes (and has had the most training in their use). A short hafted weapon, very effective at delivering heavy blows with the axe edge in a battle situation. Using the down curved, wedge-shaped blade coupled with the reinforced shaft makes for a very powerful cutting arc that can shear through mail and badly damage simple plate. Its use extends to being able to hook around the back of the knee as a surprise attack, thus tearing out tendons and causing the opponent to collapse or hooking the opponent's shield and pulling it away opening them up for further attack.
- Has a spare couple of blades (shortsword and dagger) for use in dire situations.
- His hands and teeth. It might seem like a silly thing to add, but he has no qualms over bludgeoning someone to death with his fists or tearing lumps out of flesh (Which is more common than you'd think).

- Able to achieve a state of mindless, inexhaustible rage (this can appear 'inexhaustible' during battle, but usually lasts for 2-3 hours)

- Survival, after being brought up practically wild, you can imagine that Vlad would have little difficulty being thrown into a situation that requires the understanding and knowledge of the land.
- Strength & Resilience, from battling on through injury to using feats of adrenaline and violence.
- Coordination; needed especially for his dual-wielding, otherwise, it'd be dangerous for everyone involved.
- Playing himself off as a dumb brute. Whilst this is somewhat true, don't believe for a second he's entirely dense.
- Speaks his regional dialect (which is known by few and far between) as well as the common tongue.
- Hand to hand combat as well as having extensive training in his selected weaponry.

Spells & Magic: N/A

Weaknesses:
- Cannot read nor write and thus is rendered useless by the challenge of literature and signposts.
- Social cues leave the poor man utterly confused and will often misinterpret handshakes for arm wrestling (usually carrying through with it to the horror of the social elite and people who merely wanted to say hello).
- Place in the world being chaotic neutral, he does what he was raised to do. Fight for the single reason of bloodlust and gold - yet as of late, he wonders whether he's just the same as any villain for it. Lost and loosely tugging on a purpose. This can easily be preyed upon and used against him due to the current stance he's adopted.
- Temper. He's unpredictable and often takes thing too far without realising the addition of his own strength. Useful for battle, not for making friends.
- Ranged attacks, are hardly a thing he deals in and wouldn't know how to hold a bow even if it was given to him.
- Sneaking and espionage; he's certainly not light footed and manages to clank without heavy armour.

Hobbies
:
Hitting things - Not surprising for his persona. If hitting it doesn't work, he's going to have a hard time thinking of a solution.
Watching other people hitting things - Also not surprising, and appreciates watching a good fight.
Petting dogs - Secretly (or perhaps not so secretly), Vladislav adores canines and will often pet them if he can get close enough. It has been noted he has the self-control of a small child.
Fighting/War - Brought up to relish fighting, the strategy of war and the praise it gives to the Gods above (or those who once were); the barbarian has an insatiable lust for violence.
Hunting - Something he uses to relax, often making hunting trips on hot lazy summer days. Unfortunately, these have dwindled throughout the crisis of the rising darkness.
Stargazing - He knows the Nomad stories behind the constellations, but not those of other cultures.
Tattooing - For him, it's a meditation which absorbs all his concentration into a singular, pinpricked design. Although he tattooed his brothers and tribe members, he has yet to tattoo anyone else outside of this circle. Even appearing reluctant due to the importance it has within his own community.

Personality | Contrary to her massive frame, Ka’sha is surprisingly soft spoken and mild mannered, in contrast to others of her race of course. While she may speak in a voice just slightly louder than the regular speaking voice, it will be perceived as quiet by the standards of her specie. She is also quite a shy woman, especially about her large frame and muscular build. She doesn’t detest it, not really since she knows that it is what kept her alive and useful, but that doesn’t mean that she likes it. She’ll be visibly upset when someone mentions her body, even if it is a compliment. Despite this though Ka’sha is never undecisive or hesitant. Whatever it is that she has decided to do, no matter she needs to do, no matter what it takes, once she sets her mind to it, Ka’sha is bound to stick to it. She also isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. She may be disatisfied with her body, but she will use it to get the job done. And by that I mean cut heads and break skulls. She also values loyalty more than anything else and would do everything she can to help those she has given her loyalty to. She also likes cute and petite things, though with a hint of envy.

Backstory | Ka’sha is a member of the Stonejaw Tribe, a nomadic tribe of Saurians that lives deep on the Kshurri Desert. Growing up in a desert is hard enugh, but the Kshurri Desert is more dangerous than any regular desert. In the morning the Stonejaw tribe have to combat the scorching desert heat, on some days it would become hot enough for the sands to start smoking. The few plants that do exist in this desert prey on other creatures, spilling blood to quenc their thirst. Vicious carrion birds wait for the weaker ones to be slowly die and, when the opportunity arrives, feast upon the poor victim’s entrails. It doesn’t get better in the evening, where the desert’s smoldering heat is replaced by unbearable chill. The ravenous nocturnal beasts awaken from their slumber, hungry for flesh as they attack everything in sight just to fill the empty voids that are their stomach. Not to mention the raids and skirmishes tribes are always involved in, fighting each other to pillage even just the tiniest amount of food or water. Here in this desert the tribes that controls the oasis controls the other tribes. Their whims can mean life and death to the other tribes, forced to pay tribute to these four tribes just to gain access to the oasis, and even then just enough to sate their thirst for a few days.

Indeed this desert was not the easiest place to grow up in. The desert will make you or break you, turn you into great warriors, wise shamans, resourceful scouts, skilled hunters, or it will turn you into food. This desert is no place for those weak in mind, body, and spirit. Ka’sha knows this for a fact, she has survived to reach adulthood after all. She had always been the biggest in her tribe, even when she was merely a hatchling she was more than twice the size of the others. She was so big in fact that when Ka’sha hatched the egg had just bursted apart from having been too small for her. It was too tight that the merest movement caused it to shatter. Her mother would often tell her that, had Ka’sha not been birthed in an egg, her mother would surely had bled to death. This, unknown to anyone at the moment, had utterly terrified the young girl. It was at this moment that Ka’sha would start to fear her body.

Despite this fear Ka’sha was trained to be a warrior since she was young. The elders saw her large stature to be a blessing, though the girl herself saw it otherwise. She had no choice on this matter however, and even if she had the girl was too timid to voice out her opinion. And so her training began, and what a mess it had been. Ka’sha, despite her large frame, was visibly trembling whenever she held a greataxe or warhammer, and it obviously wasn’t due to its weight since Ka’sha could carry things as heavy as her weapon. Ka’sha would whimper everytime she was hit despite the fact that those hits barely bruised nor wounded her. She refused to attack even training dummies, tears pouring out of her large eyes whenever she was forced to do so. After two years of continuing this trend, the elders had all but lost faith in the timid and uselessly large girl, who still ate her size by the way. It was to the point that they were considering to banish the useless girl, and they would have had it not been for a stranger visiting their tribe.

The man was a human, yet he seemed different from the humans the Stonejaw tribe had seen. He didn’t have the dark skin, hair, and eyes of the desert tribes nor were his clothing and weapons common around these parts. He had a light skin tone, almost bordering white despite the desert heat. His hair was the color of gold and his eyes the color of the vast sky. The man also had a long and slender blade strapped to his back. The man had come to the tribe to trade for food and water, and due to the strange trinkets the man had offered, the elders had happily accepted his offer. The man, for whatever reason, took a liking to Ka’sha and proclaimed that he would take her to be his apprentice. Over the course of three months, the man had trained Ka’sha in his own style of swordfighting. Unlike her tribe’s way, which mostly involved brute stength and overpowering their foes, the swordsmanship he taught her involved a lot of footwork. His sword sweeping and slashing in ways that reminds one of a dance, a strange and deadly dance. Ka’sha was enamoured with the swordsmanship he showed her. She trained diligently, even after her master had long left their tribe. After the 18th year of her birth, after the ceremony proclaiming her as an adult, Ka’sha decided to leave the tribe. She wanted to see the world her master had talked about, and should fate deem it, she wished to one day meet her master once more.


PHYSICAL
Appearance | Ka’sha stands at a whopping 8’3” tall and weighs over 420 lbs of pure muscle. She has a tough hide-like skin that has the toughness of a leather armor. Her skin has a peculiar tone for a desert dweller, blue on top with hints of tan below. She has long black hair she that she keeps in braids and her lower fangs jut out like tusks.


Weapons & Armor |

Clothes - Due to her tough skin, Ka’sha has little need for armor. Instead she wears her usual travelling gear which consist of a hooded cloth robe that looks like a shirt due to her size and leather pants. Ka’sha goes barefoot since more shoes won’t fit her. The only oart of her clothing that can be classified as an armor is her shoulderpads, which is lightly covered in scalemail.

Heavy Wind - Her master’s final gift to her before he left. Heavy Wind is a 6 foot long sabre. The sword is as heavy as it looks, but Ka’sha can handle it with ease due to her large frame and strong muscles. When swung at full strength, the sword can even generate a gust of wind strong enough to knockback foes, hence its name.

Items & Personal Belongings | Ka’sha has little in terms of personal belongings. She has her spare rations, enough water in her flasks to last her for days, some coins she had earned throughout her travle with the Cromwell Trading Company, a few skulls she bought from a shady merchant to make look more threatening so she won’t actually have to fight anyone. A spare dagger (which is actually the size of a short shortsword) just in case, a few books since she found out she liked reasing when she finally learned to read, and a pouch of snacks to feed her pet Bim, and of course Bim himself, a cute baby bird Ka’sha rescued from some bad men (Bim is actually a baby gryphon that Ka’sha had saved from a band of poachers. Ka’sha has no idea that Bim is a gryphon, or what a gryphon is, or that Bim is actuall an extremely rare creatures. All she knows is that Bim is cute and that he loves sitting on her head.).

Skills & Abilities |
Boundless Storm Sword Style - A sword fighting technique that incorporates extensive footwork with slashes in order to overwhelm the enemy. The technique focuses on giving the enemy no chance to counterattack while at the same time wearing them out. With Ka’sha’s strength and Heavy Wind, the technique’s name gains a new meaning as gust of wind will batter the enemy whenever she swings her blade.


Natural Insulator - To survive the harsh desert, a Saurian’s skin has adapted to become a natural insulator. Their skin does not easily let heat pass through it, making sure that their body temperatures do not rise too much in the hot desert. At the same time it also keeps their body heat from lowering too much when the night falls and the temperature drops.

Intimidation - While not on purpose, Ka’sha is definitely quite intimidating. She is taller than most people, is from a race that doesn’t exactly have the friendliest of faces, and has a large sword strapped to her back. Add that to the skulls on her belt and she definitely isn’t someone you would want to mess with.

Cooking - Strange as it may seem but Ka’sha knows how to cook. She’s not great at it, but it’s definitely passable. She doesn’t know any fancy cooking, but she’s oretty good at roasting and making stew.

Spells & Magics | None

Weaknesses | Ka’sha is a stranger in a strange land. She knows next to nothing about this place save for what her Master had told her and what she learned from Mr. Cromwell during her time with them. Let her go on her own and she would definitely get lost in an instant. She’s also a bit naive and easy to trick, so if there is someone brave enough to call her bluff and take advantage of her, she’d be like a puppet in their hands. A race of people hidden in the smaller cracks and caverns of the earth. The Huaka people's history is well kept and traced back over an incredible period of time. It is said that before the Huaka grew in intelligence they were barbaric in nature. Despite thier small size they had enough strength to match a bear. Roaming tribes of primitive huaka would wreak havok on the outside world. Once they grew in intellect the Huaka utilized thier small stature to sneak around and steal from other fledgling races, utilizing thier still immense strength to break into places that any other race could not. These antics continued for quite some time until various tribes and communities caught wind of what the Huaka were and what they were doing. These communities formed a coalition to stop these tiny monsters from stealing from them again. The Huaka, despite thier strength, did not have the numbers to compete with the overwhelming forces and were drove deeper and deeper into the caves and caverns that were thier homes.

This sparked a change in lifestyle for the Huaka people as intelligence became more and more valued by thier people who were growing smarter over the generations. Thier societies shifter focus to become self-sufficient, growing plants and raising animals suitable for thier underground environments. A strict form of laws started to take place. Where tribal leaders once were, kings and queens began to sprout up creating monarchies. The eyes of the outside world have been off of the Huaka people now for a long time, some forgetting the existance of the Huaka completely. The Huaka people now live with a hierarchy in place which allows room to climb the ranks. Criminals are punished stringently and without mercy. Crime rates are very low due to the harsh punishments and public conciousness surrounding crime. The Huaka people's strength was still needed for many things in these new times. Buildings, furniture, tools, and many other objects in thier society are carved from stone and are quite heavy for any other creature thier size. The Huaka also harvest and utilize a dense and strong metal found only in the depths of thier underground caverns. Technology has not progressed very far. The Huaka only have basic mechanical devices such as carts, levers, pulleys, and screws.

As for the physiology of the Huaka today, they have large eyes adapted for living underground, only needing very dim light to aid thier sight. This usually comes in the form of glowmoss or brightbugs kept within lanterns and jars. This can cause issues on bright days on the surface. Huaka must squint heavily when looking at bright colors that are in direct sunlight. Huaka still hold thier mighty strength, only diminishing slightly from thier more primitive days. Thier intelligence when compared to humans is clearly lacking, but this has not stopped them from many writing about moral code and philosophy. Due to thier great strength the Huaka people can jump very high and far due to thier weight being very light. Falling is more manageable and can be done comfortably at greater heights than a human. Thier speed and endurance are also top notch due to thier strength when compared to thier size and weight. Thier large ears allow them a keen sense of hearing and help them pinpoint where a noise is coming from as this can be normally very challenging in echoing caves.

Backstory: Edwardo was born into the venerable Huahua royal family. It is one of the first royal families to emerge from the primitive Huaka tribes. Edwardo grew up amongst his older sister and younger brother learning what it meant to be royalty and to serve the people. Like most Hua royalty, Edwardo was raised with many interactions and activities shared with the common people. He has many friends back home in Haviata that he had to leave behind. Edwardo learnt of the Dark Lord of all early on in life. Stormaggeddon, Dark Lord of All is what some had called him. Edwardo joined a group of Paladins within Haviata called "The Truest Courage" to defend his city and people if the Dark Lord of All ever came for them. Six months ago, the Dark Lord made a proclamation that he would push further into unknown territories and lands to expand his influence. This proclamation is what decided it for Edwardo,The Dark Lord needed to be stopped before he got to the Huahuas or his people. Edwardo snuck out late one night, changing his name to Ed Hua to hide his identity, to kill this lord and end his rein.

: Ed has a sword, shield, and set of full plate armor. All of it wonderfully crafted from Unbracko metal, harder and sharper than any steel. The metal is also immune to magic, reflecting any bolts, blazes, or missiles like a mirror reflects light.
Items & Personal Belongings: He wears a necklace with the Huahua sigil carved upon a silver amulet. He also wears a brown tunic underneath his armor. His few other basic belongings needed by any traveler he carries in a sack tied to a stick.
Skills & Abilities: Good at jumping, running, anything needing brute strength, and all other abilities normal Huaka would typically have.
Spells & Magic: He can use divine magic to heal and protect himself and those around him. He can also conjure bolts of radiant energy to throw at enemies. These bolts are about as effective as a normal javelin a human might throw. He can also charge himself up with divine magic enhancing his already high physical attributes.
Weaknesses: Ed tends to follow the laws of the land or city he is in, and has trouble bringing himself to break any. He has a hard time telling if someone is telling the truth or not leaving him somewhat suspicious. To become a part of The Truest Courage he had to take an Oath of Truth, breaking it would shame him and all of his divine power would be lost. Representing his people and being as proud as he is, Ed does not take insults well.

Personality: No matter what he does, he will almost always choose the course of action that grants the biggest chance of success. That said, he won't let his conscience get in the way of victory; he is ruthless and remorseless to that end, but not 'inherently' malevolent. In fact, when he is to choose between helping an evil or good person, he will help the good one because "having good neighbors is better than having bad ones."

Caecillius' demeanor is generally stoic, sardonic, and sarcastic (alliterative appeal unintended.) He presents himself as an impatient man, but also overall calm, positive, forgiving, enthusiastic, and level-headed but the way it contrasts with his appearance makes him look monstrous and terrifying to most onlookers, although the effect is not always intended. He rarely loses his temper and has good control over his emotions, not breaking under stress.

He also acknowledges and learns from his mistakes or the mistakes of other people; Caecillius believes history to be the most important subject to learn. He has a low tolerance for failure, disrespect or disobedience but is unlikely to execute his officers unless they have actually committed treachery. He is willing to tease his enemies or murder them in cold blood as required.

Some of his underlings would describe Caecillius as "cold and cruel, but not more than required," while others refer to him with respect, saying that he never demands from his soldiers what he wouldn't do himself.

Backstory: Not much is known about the dark lord. One day, he appeared and started plotting. Two weeks later, the attack on the Royal Castle occurred and he rose to power. The king declared martial law and ordered people to worship Caecillius under the threat of death. Prayers accumulated into power, and soon, Caecillius was a minor demigod of Evil. By his own merit, he defeated a lesser deity, alarming the other deities. He continued this, until very little gods remained, with the ones that still live being safe in their realms... for now. His deity status has grown exponentially since then due to the attention his actions have garnered him.

Caecilius then ruled for two years, asserting power over not just Gaia, but also other planes. Demons, angels, outsiders, aliens, and other beings swore loyalty to him, and those that did not are an enemy to be deleted.

  • Armory: Being the ruler of the entire planet, Caecillius has access to the most exotic magical weapons, armor, and artifacts that he can use at will. In terms of armor, however, he has a favorite set:
    • Umbran Shard: A set of armor built from polished, jet-black adamantine decorated with gold accents. The armor can turn into a ring and back into armor at the user's behest. Its cape has been enchanted to move almost sentiently and turn into an inky, black darkness at its edges in order to invoke a feeling of unease in observers and give the Overlord an otherworldly presence.
  • Flying Fortress: A marvel of engineering, nicknamed "The Vengeful Spirit." Based on schematics produced by a dwarven elder long ago, this fortress is capable of sustained high-flight altitude at Mach 6 speeds. It can also project large portals to other realms or other places in the same realm, allowing for rapid invasions and attacks. The flying fortress has countless protections, from its own fleet of wyverns and dragons, golem army, magical laser turrets, and countless other functions. It is powered by an internal mythallar that can maintain a production of magical energy big enough to sustain it for 20-30 hours of continuous battle at maximum output.

  • Resources: Access to nigh-limitless resources. Anything mundane or magical that can be found on the planet is at a call away for the Overlord, but more exotic, extra-planar items may require some time or meddling to fetch. Caecillius has millions of soldiers, golems, demons, angels, outsiders, illithids, and other beings at his disposal.
Skills & Abilities:
  • Master Warrior: Caecillius is adept with nearly all weapons. He is proficient in swordsmanship, archery, cavalry fighting, strategy and tactics, siege warfare, and has meddled with other weapons and styles; both simple and martial.
  • Powerhouse: As a result of having a divine body, Caecillius can send packs of soldiers flying with one swing of a hammer or have his arrows penetrate rows of soldiers and keep going. He can pick up and toss boulders across the battlefield, or run with speeds that make it seem as if though he was teleporting. Mortal men stand no chance in fighting him and many have tried.
  • Lore Expertise: Although not a mage by heart, Caecillius is an authority when it comes to old and ancient rituals, texts, myths and history that many have forgotten. He is familiar with folklore, biology, races, planar cosmology, and the workings of the universe. As such, although his spellcasting is of poor quality for the standards of a deity, his rituals are second to none. Should he craft magical items, it is easy to assume they too, would be of awesome power.
Spells & Magic:
  • Deity: The prayers of his followers grant the Overlord additional power.
    • Miracle-working: As one of deity status, Caecillius can alter the weave of reality to his whim like a sorcerer, however, it costs him much energy to maintain complex or numerous effects and even his energy isn't limitless. In addition, because he is not a natural mage, this power is very alien and using it comes to him with difficulty. Because he is the God of Evil, effects that are conceptually 'evil' are more easy to produce while ones that are 'good' require more effort of willpower and mana.
    • Shapeshifting: As one of deity status, Caecillius has no "true" form and can change it at whim, however, there are limitations. Certain forms, like a dragon, cost more energy to maintain, while the shape of a human; even strong one, is comparably very cheap. Because he is not a natural mage, this power is very alien and using it comes to him with difficulty.
Weaknesses:
  • Magical Energy Reliance: Caecillius' status as a Deity of Evil will diminish and perhaps even disappear entirely if people stop regarding him as such. The prayers of cultists are instantly converted into magical energy, but if its stream ends, he will no longer have fuel for his powers. Attacking power nodes and cult centers would be a good move to weaken the Overlord...

Personality: Confident and headstrong most of the time. Charming when needs to be, sometimes flirty towards people. Intelligent, wise, and cunning. Not the best judge of character, nor the most morally complex. Often does for himself, not others.
Backstory: Born to a family of God-worshipping Clerics, Enzo found himself devout in practice, whether forcibly or on his own will is unknown to this day. However, after the Dark Lord Himself plowed through Underdark like gravel, Enzo had nowhere left to turn. The Gods wouldn't answer him, so he turned to the demons below. Only armed with a grimoire and a mucky robe, Enzo conjured forth a demon, a greater demon, from the nether and it protected Enzo from the Dark Lord's minions. After this, the two established a contract of sorts, binding each other forever. After this incident, Enzo rummaged around the under city of Underdark to find others like him. Establishing a small band of warlocks, the group sought to use the power of the Dark Lord to instill fear in the streets of Underdark. So, they created their own persona of an even more terrifying threat (at least, to the folks of Underdark) called The Black Lordship, comprised of the most deadly demons and malicious monarchs the city had ever seen. Those who get too close to the Lordship either become corrupt or never return.

PHYSICAL
Appearance
: A very tall, handsome man. His face, while corrupted from demonic energy, still irradiates an aura of calm and confident nature. His slick hair is often pulled back and his beard is kept in shape. Enzo is often wearing a thick robe with a hood that can obscure his face when up. The robe itself is generic; dark fabric and occasionally stitched at certain hems to keep it from falling apart. A simple linen sash separates the robe top from the bottom.
Weapons & Armor: The Grimoire of Zurok, a special item given to Enzo by his conjured demon of the aforementioned name. With this, he can conjure forth several types of demons from the nether, including, but not limited to, imps, hellhounds, lesser and greater demons, and beholders. Armor is mentioned above.
Items & Personal Belongings: Enzo has a ring on his left ring finger, though it appears to be tarnished after wear.
Skills & Abilities: Charismatic: Enzo is a flirt and a womanizer (manizer for men or humanizer for both), often trying to either get information or just to have a little fun. Nine out of then people agree that Enzo is a lovely person.
Intelligent: Being smarter than the average human, Enzo can use his magic in ways that others cannot. Being a Warlock, this takes a demented turn. Not only this, but his higher intellect allows him to "see" things others cannot, such as solutions or answers.
Spells & Magic: Hellish Rebuke: Enzo channels magic into his index finger, then points at his target. Moments later, the target is surrounded by hellfire that will slowly engulf them if they do not escape.
Enthrall: Being charming is one attribute Enzo holds dear, and as such, mixes magic with mingle to entice even the most stalwart of foes.
Vampiric Touch: Pain for pleasure, as the succubi say. Enzo harms his opponent with a curse that drains their lifeforce and gives it back to Enzo.
Finger of Death: Enzo concentrates a deadly magical attack on a target by merely pointing at them. The target is then afflicted with incredible pain until resisted or Enzo stops.
Charm Person: Sometimes words aren't enough and magic comes into play. Enzo's honeyed words sound more appetizing than ever while under this effect.
Weaknesses: Very reliant on magic, zero hand-to-hand/melee fighting capabilities. Often victim to a person's wiles; easily seduced. Afraid of death, ironically.

Personality:
 Silent and reliable, Lady Jing Yu is a mercenary with silent pride and a resume to back it up. She shows her emotions through the smile the peeks out from beneath her hat. Despite being a mercenary, she knows when not to take the money, only taking up her blade when she believes it necessary. She is very observant of her surroundings, and can react to new occurrences. She can deal with arrogant people and such, albeit with a blade against their throat. She always puts her own life first, willing to leave a battle if she deems it an impossible task. Despite this, she, like many, refuse to accept the new overlord's rule. If she will ever stand for one cause, it would be this one: to save her homeland.

Backstory:
 Jing Yu was born in a village between the great military powers of the Eastern Kingdoms. Her family raised her with love and affection. While she helped her parents in the fields, she was taught basic martial arts by a retired soldier in the village as a means of protection. It was, after all, the frontiers between the Kingdoms. Sometimes her dad was called into service, and he won't be seen by the family for a few years. Well, one day, some time after her younger brother was born, he was called into service once more. This was fine for the family, as they gotten used to it. but as time grew on, word never came back of where her father was. During this time, Jing Yu started to become to breadwinner of the family, not only working in the fields, but earning extra money by working for the local guard.
 One day, when she around the marriageable age of 13, Jing was sought after by some pompous noble whom she didn't like. Eventually, because of his repeated requests, she ran off into the countryside. The direction she ran towards was where a battle between the Kingdoms was occurring. She tried to turn away but was the battlefield soon encompassed her. Stuck and frightened by the clashes of metal surrounding her, she shakily held a sword that was tossed aside by a fallen soldier. She clung to the grip of it, turning her knuckles white while she tried to avoid the carnage that danced around her. She was only attacked several times, mistaken for the enemy by both sides, only to be saved either by their mercy or the attack of the opposing side. Eventually the battle ended, and she stood in a sea of wailing corpses. Soldiers of the winning side, looking for survivors among their comrades, caught her in her trauma and brought her to their camp. The commanding officer praised her for having survived, thinking that she took an active role in the battle. She was offered training as a soldier in his army. She, still in her stupor, shakily accepted.
 Jing Yu received substantial training, at first weak and uncontrolled. She quickly got use to a soldier's regimen, and slowly became a skilled fighter. She survived a few battles with that army, but when the commander she served lost one, she was forced to make a decision, join her comrades or become a traitor. Becoming a traitor wasn't something new in that army, soldier with enough skill became mercenaries, and she had learned enough skills to survive as one. So she became a mercenary for the winning army. This occurred several times, as she slowly perfected her swordsmanship and began to learn magic. Her own courage hardened and her cowardice diminished until it was nothing like the little girl years ago. When she had enough money, she hired an old martial artist to teach her techniques, giving her the foundations for her Shadow Magic.
 By the time she had perfected her Shadow Magic, she was already small but reputable mercenary. She had been hired by all armies, and was then hired for missions into the West. It wasn't until she unveiled her shadow magic in a grand battle at the border between the East and the West at the age of 20 that her name turned from myth to legend, a war hero at home and a nightmare in the west. The battle was the opening battle for allied kingdoms of the East to begin invading the Western Realms, following the rumors of a dark overlord appearing the West who actually managed to take power. Unfortunately the Dark Overlord was faster and more effective at his goals than the East expected, leading to a full retreat of the Eastern Allied Armies. But even this was to no avail as the Dark Overlord's forces caught up to them, threatened the homeland, and soon controlled it. Luckily (or unluckily), the high command thought it best to leave behind several units, mainly mercenaries, during their retreat, instructing them to lay the groundwork for their future retaliation, if any. As such, Lady Jing Yu, one of the East's greatest mercenaries, joined the rebellion in Blackbeat, preparing to free her homeland.

Jian - A beautiful double edged longsword made of steel. With a smooth and thin blade, Lady Yu can use it to slice through many things. Its guard has an ornate design in bronze and its scabbard, made of bronze and treated wood, matches in elegance and simplicity to the blade of the sword. It requires quite some strength to wield, but when used with the techniques of eastern swordmasters, it can bring about deadly consequences.
Outfit - a tightly sown and well bounded series of bronze, leather, and fur. Her gloves up to her shoulder guards are made of hardened leather, while her dress is a series of soft leather for easy mobility. Her torso is covered by hard leather and bronze sown together. Underneath, she wears a breathable undershirt. Leather straps running across her outfit, providing easy places of storage and hiding. Fur lies on top of her shoulder, providing the neck protection from the elements. Her hat, a farmer's hat by design, is fairly ornate in of itself. It is made of bamboo, bound together by horse hair and silks. A single piece of leather runs across it. A small embroidered charm hangs from the edge of the hat. She also wears leather boots, wear she hides stuff in.
Throwing Knifes - She keeps several throwing knifes on her person, often using them as a dagger when she needs to.

Money - She carries quite the amount of them, of course all hidden throughout her person.
Ivory Stamp Block - Serves as her signature in official documents. Also serves as her identification.

Warrior from the East - Trained in the eastern styles of combat and martial arts. She makes extensive use of martial arts with the blade, performing deadly techniques that draw far more power than what a normal strike would do.
Legend among the Eastern Kingdoms - Despite being a mercenary with an assassin spell set, she is quite well known for being in the employment of the Eastern Kingdoms. To those at home, she is a legend, a war hero of sorts, respected by all. To those in the west, she is like a nightmare, utilizing foreign magic and techniques to keep away those who look to raid the East, at least she was until the Dark Overlord took over.
Wuxia - A practitioner of the mystic martial arts, combining mysticism with swordplay. Almost supernatural swordsmanship.
Traveler - Use to traveling long distances without tire. Knows multiple languages and has high stamina.

Spells & Magic:
Shadow Warrior - Using the oriental mysticism and magic of the east, Lady Yu uses a system of magic and techniques not easily identifiable by scholars of the west. She specializes in "Oriental Shadow Magic," as western scholars would explain it. Her techniques resemble that of a monk trained in the unbalanced use of the body and spirit. Her magic is gained from the interaction between her and her surroundings, seeking either to balance or unbalance a natural state. It is her most powerful and fundamental method of attack. She attacks using her Shadow. She has two methods of attack. That being so, she needs there to be some form of light for her magic to work, so the early morning, evenings, twilight, as well as full moons are when she's most effective. She can still use the skill at any other time except when it is pitch-black around her. While it uses shadows a lot, it shouldn't be considered dark magic, as it is simply a use of the balance of Eastern Mysticism.
Within the Realm - She moves in such a way that her own shadow seemingly attacks an enemy's shadow. While it won't cause physical damage to the enemy, it'll cause internal pain to them, evidenced by their own shadow bearing cuts and dents. She is effectively cutting off their spirit to their body. A "fatal attack" to the shadow would leave the enemy in temporary but agonizing pain. She would need to completely destroy the shadow for any real damage to occur. The defense of their shadows are determined by their willpower, so it isn't effective on someone who might have extreme devotion to something.
Across the Realm - She physically attacks the enemy's shadow herself. This could be something like stomping on a shadow or piercing her blade into the ground. This results in physical damage being dealt. Of course this still has to go through the enemy's defenses before it can deal any proper attack on the person. Even though she is attacking the spirit, the enemy will receive the physical damage as a reflection of their own figure. She can pin enemies in place or disable their limbs just by leaving her weapons in place of the shadow. It is significantly tougher to escape from using willpower, but also tougher for her to execute since it only works if the enemy's shadow is clearly defined (like in broad daylight).
Beyond the Realm - Her shadows materialize. It is similar to how necromancers can summon beings from darkness, however, the shadows must still connect to her. So the shadow of her blade can extend out from her actual blade and deal physical damage. These act like normal attacks. The shadows are paper thin, and can be cut down without any consequence, but she can continue to summon them back into physical space. The shadows must be in the light, as when it goes under a dark spot, that part of it disappears. Beyond the Realm is her trump card, so she won't use it very often.

First and foremost, there's a nearly palpable sense of entitlement that stems from her cushioned background. Due to being surrounded by people of similar social strata all her life, she's developed some bias against those outside her circles. You had to be arrogant and carry yourself with dignity, or you wound up the bottom of the pack.Sensitivity isn't her strong-suit. Or any sort of consideration for others beyond what manners dictated. Admittedly, she's very self-centered. Her social life's very superficial, through both circumstance and her own volition.

Unsurprisingly, the environment Cici was raised in has sheltered her in many ways, first and foremost is that no one was brutally honest about any faults or mistakes. There's also the matter that while she'd never been particularly wasteful about money, neither was she ver conscious of an absence of it. Some very basic practicalities also seem to be beyond her ability, such us sewing or cooking. To be fair, the housekeeping staff were and continue to be very afraid to let her do either courtesy of her shit aim.

For all her faults, the mage is a very warm person. Though not a complete idealist, she's one to look to the more positive side of things. Her temper's quick to raise, but it's also fast to subside. Grudges are rare for her. She's also a firm believer in fairness; while she does have some elitism, Cici is one who believes that a nobleman and a peasant both deserve the same and equal punishment. Encountering situations has the scales tipped towards one side brings out her stubborn streak. They saw great potential in the young girl; even as a child, she was already able to call upon a simple flame without the need for a catalyst. She'd have been a great elementalist, and with the resources of the family, there was little doubt she'd quickly reach the upper echelons of the Mage's Association.

Out of those two statements, only one proved true.

Like most trained mages, she began her education in the arcane arts at an early age. As she developed her skills, one thing became very apparent: she could not aim to save her life. After an incident wherein Cici almost burnt the house down and all that was left of her instructor's hair was smoke, he quit with the advice that she switch focus. This was met with much scandalous gasping because the Aliw were elementalists, not anything else. They were quite stubborn about it. Soon after, a poorly aimed blast of wind almost caused the roof to crash over her parents' heads. They decided to amend their previous statement and hired a summoner, deeming it the best compromise. No child of the Aliw would stoop to "lowly" healing magic.

While Cecilia readily absorbed the new discipline, she was, and still isn't, ready to give up on mastering some level of elemental magic. She continued to practice outside the family mansion. If the singed leaves and fallen tree trunks in the forest nearby were of any indication, these sessions were largely unsuccessful. Simply put, her magic was powerful and she simply didn't have enough finesse or control for it. Summoning was all-around a better fit for her, but frankly, she finds the thought of giving up halfway disgusting. She continues to practice, though nowadays she's starting to get the impression she's not meant for it.

As she grew older, like others had predicted, she climbed the Mage's Association's ranks without much difficulty. At some point she grew tired of her family's company and moved to claim one of their summer estates as her own. As expected, her main source of income was as a mage for hire via contracts to the Association, almost like a mercenary. She came with a hefty price due to her name, but no one doubted her ability. Neither had she given them reason to question it.

Cecilia didn't think much of the Overlord's invasion; for her it was some distant event that wouldn't affect her little corner of Gaia. Sure, the Association paid a percentage of their earnings as "tribute" (mostly to get him off their back). Imagine her surprise when a giant god's corpse crashed onto her roof, her housekeeping staff running around in panic as his minions came by to harvest its resources. With the way in the inflation was and the cuts into her income, she wouldn't be able to afford the repairs. While Cecilia's wolf summon is very powerful, there's quite a bit of set-up required to get it up. Simpler summons are practically instantaneous, even without an arcane circle. But the wolf summon has pre-written circles on cards, with Cici assigning the attribute depending on the situation. The summoning process takes a good 30 seconds. At this point, she's unable to move as she's fully committed to imbuing her summon with her magical energy. Once the wolf is out, Cecilia's own magic output is reduced as she's given a good chunk of it to the summon. Another thing to note is that while it's out, Cecilia can't change its attribute until it's either defeated or it's "desummoned", which is another 30 seconds. In the event of the wolf's defeat, there's some time until she's back at full output as she gathers the dispersed magical energy.     Personality:
    Similar to his looks, some of his mannerisms and acts are similar to those of a bird. For one he is extremely skittish and constantly alert, and will often have trouble focusing on one thing for too long. Another of these things is a draw to valuables or shiny items. Gold and jewels especially so, resulting in him occasionally taking these things. He also will often preen or tidy up his feathers when he has spare time to do so. Another thing Aarakocra hate, him in particular, are confined spaces. He may be able to hold his composure for a short time, but in really confined spaces or small rooms he can freak out. Many sentences or words spoken by him are punctuated with trills, chirps and other avian sounds.


    While he can occasionally be helpful or nice, he still has trouble understanding some concepts, such as ownership. Usually he will do small things, such as take things from stalls absentmindedly, to larger things like outright theft. He has trouble inhibiting his urges to take such things. In speech he is usually jovial, choosing to make light of darker moods. He will usually taunt any assailants, though when the time comes to it he can be more serious. Despite his joking nature, he usually has a short fuse, and can go from being angry at someone for a few minutes right back to being indifferent or even happy. This, paired with occasional sarcastic jokes can cause confusion to other's understanding of him.

    Backstory: Da'ceer was born to a small family in a relatively small tribe in the elemental plane of air, where Aarakocrans are normally from. Most tribes mind their own business and pay no attention to any other planes. However, as the dark lord/ overlord began encroaching more into different planes, including that of air, his tyrannical ways became more visible to the inhabitants of the plane.

    Like many other locations and places, they began slowly encroaching into and taking over parts of the plane, with whatever resistance being put up ending in faliure, resulting in larger tribes being snuffed out as their influence slowly grew.

    Seeing their incoming decimation looming over them, the tribe decided to elect a member to send to the material plane, in hopes of saving them or possibly fixing whatever had happened there to cause such disarray. The only one in the tribe with magical capabilities, the elder, chose Da'ceer to send to the material plane with their limited magical abilities, possibly seeing potential in him as one of the best archers in the tribe.

Personality
If there is one thing that would be commonly told about Aelyann - it is that she looks fierce and intimidating. Keeping such an exterior is necessary after learning her lesson on the incident with her distant uncle. She not easily swayed, and does not trust anyone that quickly. Aelyann's entire exterior is what she aims to be - a leader that is to be respected and feared. She will not hesitate to force things that must be done, nor will she tolerate any form of disloyalty.

However, inside still lies that hopeful young lass. There will be times that she would be softer than usual, and it would only occur with those that she had either formed a firm trust with, or with her loved ones.
Backstory
Aelyann's story starts quite simple. She is the result of a secretive relationship between a king and one of his servant. In other words, she is a bastard child. Of course, knowing the repercussions of her existence, the king is forced to send her mother away, and keep what had transpired as a secret.

Soon enough, she was brought upon the world. Growing up in a world without a father, she got into all sorts of things - things that would eventually take a toll on her mother and on their lives. Her mother fell ill, and she was left alone to fend for their survival. A crafty young child she was, she did various things just to make sure that they lived to the next day.

One day, her father visits her and reveals the truth. Unexpectedly, their encounter went well - she did not harbor any sort of bad emotions for the man who sprouted her existence, but she did not feel anything for the old man at all. Barely knowing him her entire life, she decided to take up the king's offer for a slightly better life with her mother. They were transferred to the inner residences of her homeland, Vaersath, where their lives slowly began to remedy itself. Unfortunately, a week after that, she received a message, along with a strange artifact - revealing the untimely demise of her father, and all of the royal family with it.

With the truth of her existence out, a few urged her to take on the empty throne - only to be halted by an ambitious noble. This noble, who apparently was her distant uncle, took upon the throne as a steward until "she earns the right to rule". Not only that, but a threat was also directed to her mother should she not comply with the ambitious noble's commands. As such, she was trained and honed, before being sent out to fight, or more specifically, tragically meet her end aiding the resistance.

But she had something else in mind. That fool of a man will get what's coming to him, soon enough.

Personality: Evalyne is legit crazy. She is one to find someone and creep over them like a stalker. For Evalyne is was God Lord Morelli. She would willing kill herself in a second if he asked or kill anyone else who betrayed him. However, it is to be understood that she would never hurt God Lord Morelli, or anyone else that he cares about, not that she could anyway. She is also extremely loyal, and though at times it may seem that she does something wrong or over the line, its just, in her own twisted mind, for the better of God Lord Morelli. Though this includes killing people that my have said a slightly negative comment to Morelli, of course she wouldn’t kill anyone Morelli wouldn’t want her to…..whatever than means.
Backstory: Angels wings, that fall from the heavens, turn black. Depending on where they fall to, different things can happen, but for Evalyne, it was black wings. Before however she was a very well-known angel, most people knew a least one story of something she did, whether helping someone or participating in a major battle, she was very active with humans. For some reason, she just lost it one day, she fell to the human realm. After that day people stopped seeing or hearing from her, but legends say that she started killing people for power. At some point during conquest of realms she saw gods falling from the sky, the need to find this person and….Well I guess you get the point. Also when she showed up to Morelli’s castle begging to join him, she didn’t have any wings anymore. No one knows why, but there’s a scare on her back. Now she works as Lord Morelli’s Elite Members, which are always beside him, whenever he might need them.

Spells and Magic:
Entangled Web: Evalyne’s powers are (almost)all area of effect and must be activated after each other. There is a time limit(Her posts) before she can activate the next ability. They drain mana faster, the more that are active. Should one spell be canceled all must then be canceled. She must wait 3 hours before using them again. Her range is large enough to encompass an entire battlefield, but not that hard to run from as the field can't move after being cast.
The Taking: The first spell, Evalyne calls one type of spell type and it is unable to be used within the field, also this spell casts the field. The field can’t move until she cancels the spell. (Example: Shadow magic, within the field no shadow magic can be used.) Effects both enemies and allies
The Giving: This can be activated after “The Taking” but cannot be used the same post. This lowers the mana cost of casting a spell of a specific type. (Example: Shadow magic can now be cast with lower mana, meaning more shadows!) Effects both enemies and allies
Equal Sides: This requires both “The Giving” and “The Taking” to be active. Can only use 2 times per cast of all spells. Cannot cast other spells during this post, if this is cast. Switches the type of spells that “The Giving” and “The Taking” have. (Example: Dark magic is unable to be used, Ice is reduced mana. Now switch, Dark magic is low mana cost, and Ice can’t be use.)
Blood Lust: There must be 1(of hers ,other peoples doesn't count) post between activating “The Giving” and activating this. Blood lust takes blood from either open wounds or from dead corpses, better the blood the less it requires to continue active (Example: requires less god blood for the same about of time as more human blood). It then uses that blood to heal allies slowly. The healing is effective up to losing a arm or leg, stab wounds it can heal. Blood lust must constantly be fed regardless of whether its healing someone. If it can’t find blood it will steal from Evalyne. Since her blood is Fallen Angel blood it can take less than human blood, but its still a time limit. Effects only Allies
Immortal Faith: Must have 2(of hers ,other peoples doesn't count) posts between activation of “Blood Lust” and this spell. Arguably her most dangerous spell. This coverts her mana into a barrier around 1 person, not area of effect, and all attacks they receive, instead of doing damage, lower her mana. She must stand still with her sword stabbed into the ground. If she is injured to the point where she can’t stand, the spell cancels, canceling everything. If she runs out of mana, cancels. If she chooses to stop, also cancels all spells. However, the person with the barrier takes no damage until the barrier falls due to loss of mana or the above mentioned.

Literally anything that is antimagic related or would cancel the spell. DONE

She has a large mana supply, but Immortal Faith can easily turn into a death sentence, baiting out that spell then hitting the barrier hard is a good strat.

Personality: Elebran is a very noble person, despite betraying his people, he did it because of a promise he made to someone important to him. In other words, he would have died to Master Morelli otherwise. He is also very wise, thinking though every action carefully and what effect it might have on other people, or their relationships, battle strategies, Master Morelli’s overall look and opinion on him. He tries to think of everything he can and is more open to growth than anything.
Backstory: Elebran was born between two of the most powerful gods. Both being the highest they can possibly be on the gods scale of power, tier 1-10. Because of this he holds the potential to be one of the most powerful gods that exist. He would never come to see that power, as he soon found out, his power would have a limitation that stops it from being use past a certain point. He spent countless years trying to find a way around it, and while he could increase the power, he never made it, so he could infinitely use it. As such he was labeled a tier 3 god. The lowest his family has ever been rated. His mother always told him that he must find what it is in his life that makes him have meaning, only then can he truly use his power. Great words, truly inspiring…and cryptic. But he loved his parents none the less. When Master Morelli came and began killing the gods his parents tried to protect him, only to their deaths, his mothers last words were “Live and find purpose….” So when Master Morelli looked to him with a sword, “Are you going to get in my way?” It wasn’t that hard of a choice. Within about a month he was in Morelli’s Elite Guard, and at his side in the thrown room. In addition, traditionally people that betray the Gods lose their God status…but I guess theirs no one left to contest that. The street peasants call him “The Betrayer” though, somewhat insulting.

Skills and Abilities: He is a god, so he can’t fly or something, but he’s really tough, and very fast on his own. Rivaling that of people that are using magic, without using anything. He also fights well, something he has done his whole life…eh…
He pretty much a master swordsman as well, mostly what you would expect.
Spells and Magic:
Elebran has a HUGE mana pool, it’s not infinite but more than he would ever need.
He can deploy water from his sword, or his body, and turn it into ice. He can also control the ice/water for a short time after its deployed, and he can force the water not to freeze instantly, up to 10 seconds. This lets him surround his enemy in a massive amount of water and then freeze them.
He has 2 different water extensions that constantly flout around him, this is his way of projecting and turning water into ice. The more he uses his powers the more these become filled with ice, until they completely harden. He can still move them when they’re harden and fight with them. But he is unable to create water or freeze it either. This happens fairly fast. They are much stronger than normal ice and won’t break against swords. The freezing is based on how much mana is being used, if he is technically using less mana than they won’t freeze as fast, regardless of how much ice he’s putting out.
Release: The only spell that has a name, he has to sheath his sword, then say unleash as he unsheathes his sword, this breaks the ice around the extensions allowing him to use his ability again, however it does quite a bit of damage and can only be done once for a while, it can be done twice, but he might die from it……. Alternatively, Fire magic will unfreeze them and let him continue using magic.

Using and entire “massive” attack might require using all his energy, if you can make him use Release even though he still has some energy left, you making him waste that.

Backstory: Amias was born into a slave camp. He was seperated from his parents at a very young age. He knew nothing but oppresion and submission. Until the Numina Sacta came to liberate the people of the camp, slaying the oppressors and helping the now free people find a place. The Skolicus family finally came to know each other after being reunited under Deus, the god of the Numina Sancta. After living with his family working within the Numina Sancta for years, Amias decided to find a place within the Templum de Sactus Dominus.  Silent and watchful, Emiliana retains an air of elegance in her every movement. She is always carefully observant of her surroundings, especially watchful people around her. However, in public, her appearance is more relaxed to act more like a noble's daughter, obscuring her nature as a spy. She's very intelligent, always thoughtful about her actions. She is detailed and diligent in her work, always able to pick up on the minutiae of anything. While she genuinely wants to help those closest to her, she will almost always make sure that she comes out alive, regardless of who dies.

Backstory:
 Emiliana Rosenworth was only in the care of her parents for a few years before being put in the orphanage. Her parents and any blood relations were killed for reasons unknown to her. A few days following her parents' deaths, a man claiming to be her father's acquaintance appeared and took her to the D.G.U. Institute, both an orphanage and a training school. After she was brought to the D.G.U, she never saw the man again. She barely had any memories before the D.G.U. anyway, with only her surname to serve as a faint reminder of her ancestry. Her first few years proceeded smoothly, well, as smoothly as a orphanage and a training school could do. When she was about 10, she began her training for the occupation the institute desired, espionage. They decided upon this based on her personality and appearance. At first, it was simple skill training, but soon it became magic, behavioral training, and more. When she was 12 or so, she met a newcomer to the D.G.U., Miravaliana Chesslard. Their interactions were limited and they could only be called acquaintances. However they more or less respected each other. And this respect came about when she didn't die during Miravaliana's outburst.
 Teachers and caretakers died, along with students and children, destroying parts of the Institute. Somehow she didn't die, and while fellow classmates tried to stop the outburst by attacking her, Emiliana used her skills to simply escape. Staying hidden and low, she waited until the last moment when it looked like Mira was starting to calm down in which she moved subdue her with a tranquilizer. With Mira subdued, Emiliana decided it'll be better to leave her to go free instead of being in the Institute. Most likely something in there triggered her, or she wasn't able to control her own powers. As such, not wanting to die if such an accident occurred, she dragged her body out of the rubble and hid her somewhere safe, hoping she'll run off when she wakes again.
 Such things never happened again, and Emiliana continued her training. When she was 16, it was decided she had enough training to work in the field as an operative, receiving the call sign Azul Sangria, based on the afterimages left behind her most used move, Azul Eludir. Compared to other students engaged in espionage, Emiliana was more adept at infiltration and information collect rather than assassination. As such, much of her field training involved information gathering, where she only needed to kill if she was caught. By the time, she was 18, she had been deemed suitable for independent work and recommended to several foreign political and commercial powers, steeping her completely in the art of information brokering. During one of her outings, she was called upon to gather information on a up and coming dark lord. When she looked into it, finding out his name and identity, she ran into Miravaliana. By some miracle, Mira recognized her, but Emiliana was still in troubled waters. Not only does this dark lord have the potent Mira, he also has nine other very capable followers. That was more than enough to send warning signs across her mind, Emiliana wanted to race back to her employer as fast as possible, but Mira had other things in mind. A deal was forced onto Emiliana, tell her employer that the Dark Lord wasn't a threat, lower their guard and she'll walk free. It wasn't a bad one, well inline with her own doctrine, but she regretted it ever since.
 When she returned to her employer, she did what she was asked, and then left the capital. A few months later, the kingdom fell. Usually she would be outed as a false information broker, but no one could remember her, well no one who mattered anyway, in fact, she was actively searching for ways to stop the Overlord. During that time, she had decided to make her new place in Bleakpost, opening a bar as a front to her business, The Azure. Soon the resistance came into being and her bar became one of Bleakpost Resistance's gathering spot. Not one to miss an opportunity to open her clientele, she became an information broker and member of the Resistance. Unfortunately Mira found her once more. During one of the attempted raids on Bleakpost by the Overlord, she ran into her. While it wasn't revealed to her that she was a resistance member, Mira did understand that Emiliana was a information broker and decided to use the previous meeting as a precedent; Mira would tell her where and what the Overlord and his army was doing and Emiliana would tell her the Resistance's own movements. Of course both knew that they weren't gonna get 100% accurate information, but it did help each other. And so, Emiliana became the foremost information broker in Bleakpost, with a secret that no one could ever know.

Spells & Magic:
Basic Elemental Magic - She knows the basics of magic, stuff like Fireball and Waterball.
Azul Eludir - A blink spell. She's used it so many times that its second nature to her. While she was taught to mentally pair the spell with the motion of snapping her fingers, she used it well enough that she can do it without any catalyst. It allows her to jump forward to any spot within 100 feet. She can use it up to 5 times within half a day before needing to stop for her mana regen. It leaves a blue afterimage of her.
Azul Careta - A disguise spell. Her appearance will warp to that of which she needs it to be. Combine that with her natural skills for acting, and she'll be able to convince anyone.
Claravidencia - Clairvoyance. She displaces her senses and is able to see and hear anywhere she imagines, as long as it is within 500 yds.
Insidia - She sets up a trap that lets her know when it goes off. Warning traps, traps that only alert her when someone reached it, can last for a very long time. Hostile traps, traps with an accompanying magic spell, can only last up to a day. She can pair the trap with any of her offensive spells.
Debilitas - A paralysis spell. She can activate it simply through touch, but if she invokes a spell chant instead, she can disable her target within 100 feet. She can also pair it to her traps. Enemies can be paralyzed for up to 30 minutes, and won't have any recollection of being paralyzed afterwards.

She acts composed and like she’s always holding the cards, and while many of her plans are complex, she isn’t all knowing like Lord Morelli. Despite this she is rather sensitive and is hurt by her past and the thought that she can’t fully control her powers. She feels that she owes her life to Lord Morelli and would easily die for him. She would never betray him and only has good intentions, even if her actions might say otherwise, she only wants Lord Morelli to be happy and full of fulfillment.

Backstory: Mira comes from a long line of teleportation users and have always used their powers to help when they can, as the usefulness of teleportation of object can be extremely helpful. However, the ability to teleport large groups of people, is rare. Combine that with the fact that she can teleport anywhere and can hold those said portals open easily, she was a protégé in her family. But it was not to be, unlike the rest of her family she couldn’t control her power, it controlled her.
Without the ability to control her portals she accidently opened portals with her parent bodies, killing them both. It’s said that the moment after she killed them she was so emotionally unstable that she teleported an entire building to a new location, at the age of 5. After than she was adopted to her grandparents, when she killed her grandfather in a similar way. Unsure what to do, and scared for her life, her grandmother gave her to an orphanage and left. There she would meet Emiliana and they would become great friends, but after the orphanage saw how dangerous she was, they threw her to the streets. For so long she wandered, using what amount of her power she could control to keep herself alive. Randomly she would teleport to different locations, one day the capital, the next day some other city. Until Lord Morelli found her.
He gave her a purpose, he showed her how to control her power with the help of the staff, and slowly on her own without the staff. For the first time in her life she was free from her power, to use it for whatever she wanted. Because of this she owed him her life and would help him with anything. So it was that she was one of the original 10 that took the capital, with the ability to warp in and out she could take them anywhere in the castle that she knew about, include the thrown room. While Lord Morelli was slaughtering the royal guard she teleported the 10 elite to the kings thrown room.
What came after was boring, he slowly won victory after victory, nothing standing in his way, every major battle she was there, even when the gods fell, watching the last tier 10 god fall, there was no one left to pose a real threat. Between all of this the rebellion formed, and Mira ensured that her lifelong friend Emiliana would stay away from Lord Morelli’s rule. Emiliana stayed with the rebellion and gave information about the rebellions actions to Mira, and in return Mira gave information to Emiliana about what Lord Morelli’s forces would do next, so that she could leave if she was in danger of Lord Morelli invading. What will she do now? What are her goals? Will her need to keep Lord Morelli happy drive her to do something dangerous? Well I can’t tell you because this is 4 paragraphs long already.

The cloths she’s wearing are weak but have a lot of magic, made from the cloths, and probably skins, of gods.
the staff- is surprisingly hard, made from a magic alloy. The gem is a channeling gem that gives higher accuracy of spells, by lowering their power. This is a high-level gem.

Skills and abilities: For the most part she can fight well. She spent most of her time learning to master he teleportation, but the time that she didn’t, she was learning fighting technics from Lord Morelli, so yeah, she’s not too bad.

Spells and Magic:
Warped Mind: At any given time, Mira has a large amount of void energy flouting around her, by focusing the energy on object she can force them to move through space to different locations. By forcing it into space she can create a portal.
To teleport something, someone, or make a portal somewhere, she must know the location, and what it looks like. This doesn’t mean she has to have been there, though she can teleport to places she’s been, if she see’s a painting and knows the location she can teleport. It must be pretty detailed.
Shackled Down: Mira must almost always use her staff, without her staff it is extremely hard for her to accurately teleport things or people to the location she wants. If she creates a portal it will not be where she wants it or go to the location she wants. However due to the staff’s nature, without it she is stronger, and could technically teleport more.
That said the smaller the portal or the smaller the distance, the more accurate she will be. If the object has significance to her it also increases the accuracy. She can almost perfect accuracy teleport her staff to her almost anywhere, its also the only object she can teleport to her anywhere. Most likely due to the crystal. She does still have to know where the staff is.
I should also mention her body produces the void energy slowly, meaning to you destroy it, she will eventually be able to teleport again, though it would take a long time. Also her emotions effect how much void energy she has…..take that how you will.

Weakness: Because she has the gem she can’t perform at full power, meaning there’s some limitations to what she can do with the gem.
And even if its removed she gains power, but can’t control it very well, using it at all is a risk.
If you break that personality of knowing everything, she’s actually rather hurt and weak on the inside.
Very susceptible to alcohol, 1 drink and she will be drunk out of her mind. She won’t die from poisoning any faster, she just gets effected quickly.
Her only way of fighting is physical combat, she can run away easily, but her best magic attack it to sent yours though a portal and back at you….in a easily to dodge straight line.
Even a moment of Antimagic would destroy the void energy around her, forcing her to take time to regenerate the energy. And leaving her defense

Noted by his friends and colleagues alike, Mortimer is a man with the Midas touch. He'll turn whatever you desire into golden success, just be wary of what he asks for in return. Although preferring a solitary existence with himself and his books, surprisingly the Lord does appreciate people of a certain calibre. In other words, those who can hold a decent conversation and occasional debate or seem genuinely intriguing. Nevertheless, Mortimer has wrathful and vindictive tendencies oft remarked as being two-faced. Pessimistic and cruel when describing humans, as well as the future, Briarwood disdains the living after three lifetimes of stagnation. Never to grow old, never to sire children, never to keep a lover for a time passing death. Even so, his sarcasm and dry wit can be entertaining, appreciative of stubborn traits and the passion that can take ahold of people who wish to make a difference in the world. Furthermore, Mortimer is flirtatious to an extent, knowing what will get him results and what won't - occasionally he even does it for enjoyment, although is fearful of relationships and usually prefers to avoid getting romantically involved beyond a one night stand or otherwise. His moral compass is loose, balancing between his diabolical streaks and bloodlust, and that of being enamoured by the creations of civilisation. It is, nonetheless, collectively recognised that his temper is dangerous, even more so if you take something he loves. He works for himself, and his pity is only given to the youth who have yet to realise what they will become.

Backstory:
Mortimer was born into a prestigious, renowned noble family. The Briarwoods. They controlled the borders of Kingdoms, had excellent military prowess, gold mines and funds from generations upon generations of building the house up. Mortimer was the third son of four. Although he excelled in academics, sent off to various institutions and military academies, the young boy realised he would never be the one to dote on. He was just a mere safety net. He wasn't the youngest, nor even the second son. Someone to vanish into the background, bound to inherit his father's worries whilst his brothers would inherit gold and land. It was only the beginning of the seed which implanted itself amongst his thoughts. Alas, Briarwood went on to the royal army to carve his own path. When his father did pass away, Mortimer wasn't mentioned in the will. At that point, the third son was crippled with sickness, uncurable by the standards of all those centuries ago.

Thrown out of the army, and scraping by with what had been saved up on his wages and honourable discharge he was able to prolong his life and live until the age of twenty-nine, where he became desperate. It was in those dark days, he met a woman. The most beautiful woman he'd ever seen, named Evangeline. She was a Witch of great ambition and upon learning of his past, began corrupting Briarwood in a stance against his family. Even so, his illness continued to progress, marrying Evangeline in a private ceremony whilst she worked upon finding a cure. It would be too late for her, however, as Mortimer only days past his thirty-first birthday would be on the brink. Eva, resorted to making a bargain on his behalf and thus a vampire was born, incited by the devil.

Hate festered, intensifying with Eva's words which only twisted it further, knowing that his family had abandoned him in his time of need. Mortimer would be the one to murder his brothers, their sons and daughters. His nieces and nephews until each had left not a trace behind. The more Evangeline dug her claws in, the further Briarwood descended till at last, he came to the realisation of what he had done. And in turn, he killed his Evangeline too. His beautiful Evangeline. Promising no such manipulation would happen again, the dark Summer would begin soon after. He terrorised the countryside, the cities, watched others grieve as he had - dashing infants against the rocks.

Over time, Mortimer had no anger left. Isolating himself with the occasional lover who were few and far between. His losses amounted, alas, he became far more human over time with the control of his Vampiric condition. For two centuries, there was silence. People assumed Briarwood had died and passed his title on. That reign became history. Alas, with Morrelli taking over everything beneath the sweet suns rays, Briarwood made an unusual move. He would see the situation for what it was, and who would better benefit from his support. Who deserved such support of his lands. So far, he hasn't pledged himself to the dark Lord, nor the rebels.


PHYSICAL
Appearance
:
Undoubtedly a handsome man to gaze upon, clean cut and well-groomed for the most part - Mortimer exudes an air of perfectionism and faith in his choices or actions. With a straight-bridged, intellectual sort of nose, aided by a strong, dark brow he stands for the epitome of how one might expect the nobility to appear. Nevertheless, perhaps what may be most notable feature is Mortimer's long, black locks of hair that would stand to make any woman jealous; this, usually being tied up in some form of ponytail or bun, letting strands suggestively cup his features. High cheekbones lighten the emphasis on his sturdy, bearded jaw offering a pointed shape to the natural curve - irises a deep, crimson hue. Broad chest is aided by his height of 6'3" whilst having a toned, and excellently build figure which slims towards his waist, weighing around 185 lbs. Dressed plainly, even in the terms of court and other social events that draw him out from his home, the Vampire has never had an eye for the need of fashion. Oft found wearing plain tunics beneath light leather armour, heavy cloaks, and knee-high boots that provide protection and official presence.

Weapons & Armor:
- Light armour comes in the way of leather gauntlets, heavy cloak, and additional bits and pieces which keep it exceedingly easy to manoeuvre in. Even so, it appears he may have too much faith in his regenerative powers as a creature of the night.
- Rapier: Surprisingly strong and sturdy, the straight-edged blade carries a better thrusting motion, as well as slicing which requires less energy behind it. Being light and agile in Mortimer'shands, the rapier has become quite the weapon of choice. Given the basket-hilted handle that protects his hand, it can also be utilised to punch others with creating a knuckle-duster.

- Courtier's Dagger: A delightful, deadly mixture of blade and elven blacksmithing. Usually worn when going on his day to day business and kept close at all times (alas, during times in unfamiliar places, he prefers to keep both rapier and dagger on him whatever the weather).

Items & Personal Belongings:
- Gold and Jewels: The only thing he trusts more than his own steady hands is faith in human greed. These are kept hidden on his person, and I wouldn't try pickpocketing them from a rather irritable, centuries-old Vampire.
- Broken, but engraved pocket watch which doubles as a locket of sorts. Mortimer is extremely protective of it.
- Quills, paper, and ink: For writing important correspondences, accompanied by an ebony-wood seal of his coat of arms.
- Plain, well-made clothes: He doesn't want to stick out, and for a Lord of his calibre, he detests being babied over. Alas, he wishes to walk like men do, not as Gods do.
- A silver bracelet. It might seem odd for a Vampire to own, yet occasionally he may sit and stare at it, or let the chain burn into the flesh of his palm.

Skills & Abilities:
- Strength: Vampires have twice the strength of normal men, yet this cannot extend into the realms of absurdity. Perhaps up to the weight of a full-grown horse, or large boulder.
- Speed: Everyone has heard the stories, and it makes it no surprise Mortimer is faster than most average humans too which makes a
- Vision: His night vision is commendable, and can see perfectly in the dark due to the nocturnal habits which are resultant of his curse. Nonetheless, in daylight, the glare from the sun means he can see around the same as a normal human.
- Swordplay: Mortimer has had centuries to perfect it, making him a dangerous opponent to face on a level which doesn't factor in his Vampirism. In addition to this, Blackbriar is a left-handed swordsman, confusing his enemies and being able to strike their less protected side.
- Noble Upbringing: Highly educated in both academics and warfare, the Lord had opportunities that few were offered.

Spells & Magic:
- Charm: Vampires, whether they like it or not, are naturally charming creatures. The extent of this charm can be increased or decreased nevertheless, depending on their behaviour and finesse at handling situations. Although this doesn't require a spell, most creatures of strong, intelligent minds can dismiss it.
- Regeneration: This doesn't allow Mortimer to grow limbs back as such, and recovery time depends on that of the severity of the wounds. Even so, his healing is accelerated unless the wound was inflicted by a silver weapon which can hinder the process.
- Vampiric Resistance: Vampires are resistant to necrotic damage, disease, and poison (unless that poison has traces of silver) due to their classification as undead.
- Shadow Stealth: Briarwood has the ability to become a shadow, although still suffers damage from sunlight yet not artificial fire. Usually, this Vampiric trait helps without the need for transformation with a passive addition of having excellent incognito abilities which let him go unnoticed in crowds or the back of taverns.
- Vampiric Drain: The spell cast means Mortimer can absorb the lifeforce from someone in combat, generally weakening them and even killing them. However, it requires the Vampire steady thought and not too many distractions.

Weaknesses:
- Sunlight/Fire: Akin to the myths, sunlight proves deadly, however, they must be exposed over a ten minute period to entirely turn them to ash. Fire speaks for itself.
- Running water (Rivers): Going over running water makes Vampires weaker, whilst being in running water for extended periods cripples them akin to sunlight.
- Silver: As all good articles on monsters depict, Vampires are allergic to silver. In large doses, this can kill them.
- Holy symbols: Only if the person holds true faith can it repel a vampire. If they begin to doubt in it, the symbol no longer holds sway.
- Stake to the heart/Beheading: Two far more simple ways of simply ending the immortal life of the Vampire in question.

Hobbies:
His extensive reading - a helpful and enjoyable way to accumulate knowledge, as well as keep up with society without having to actively participate in it.
Horticulture - surprisingly, the Vampire enjoys plants and growing them. At least it's something to pass the time.

Oshklavir stands at 6'2 and has a muscular upper body, due entirely to frequent use of and training with his bow (Which has a draw-weight of 176 pounds). Through the mask, one can see that he has two brown eyes that seem a little dull in color. He does not take the mask off around others, so the details of his face are relatively unknown.
Weapons & Armor:

WEAPONS
  • The Drosklaya made of wood from the core of a Kosklov tree. The Drosklaya is a traditional Vostroyan weapon, a massive longbow with tremendous draw-weight and the capability of blasting projectiles over massive distances. Combined with bodkin arrows, a skilled archer with a Drosklaya could punch an arrow through a knight's breastplate. As all Faceless Marksmen, Oshka's Drosklaya is made of the core of a Kosklov tree. The trees are considered sacred, and grow at the top of Mt. Vivtovyek, believed to be the home of the Vostroyan Gods, although most importantly, the Dragon God Lutovyn. As Lutovyn battled the Void to create the world, his blood spilled into a small bowl-shaped canyon on the mountain's peak. From this blood, the Kosklov trees were said to have grown, and were raised by the Dragon God as gifts for his followers, the Vostroyan people. The core of each tree bears a unique kind of wood, ideal for the Vostroyan bowyers. However, only the Faceless are allowed to make their own bows, as the secrets are held fiercely by the Order of Faceless Marksmen.
  • The signature two-handed curved sword of the Faceless Marksmen. The weapon is made of fine steel and is a generally larger weapon. Along the hilt, symbols are carved.
  • A foot long knife known as Djodir, given to each Vostroyan male upon reaching manhood.
  • A hip-belted quiver of 30 bodkin arrows, meant to pierce through armor.
ARMOR
  • The Helm; A steel cone-shaped helm with the signature Faceless Marksman's mask, also made of steel.
  • The Armor; Made of reinforced lamellar.

  • Amulet: A small wooden amulet attached to fraying string. It is the symbol of the Vostroyan faith, the Kosklov tree, although it is certainly not made of its wood.

  • Deadeye: Oshka is an incredibly talented archer, due to his years of training among the Faceless. He was not the best of the Order, but he was hardly the worst. Although his rate of fire has always been rather slow, he makes up for it with accurate, high-powered shots.
  • Son of the Mountain: Oshka is a proficient climber, able to scale mountains and cliffsides better than the average man, as he was born among the mountains, and trained to climb them. This can also extend to urban buildings and obstacles, if there is a way to climb.

Personality
Zagraveil is extremely strong-willed. While the common man would give up chasing unrealistic ideals such as his, he would keep moving forward, no matter the odds, and no matter the consequence. Essentially, this also helps his mental fortitude, allowing him to be capable of resisting mind tricks and the like.

Whereas others would worship Morelli as some divine being, Zagraveil treats the Overlord as his equal. He respects him like he would do to himself, and speaks his mind openly when conversing with the man. Even participate in friendly contests of power with him. This alone, earns him the respect of most of the Overlord's many followers and worshipers.
Backstory
Stories say The God Slayer came from the eastern plains, some say he came from the harsh lands of the north. While is origins remain unproven, there is one thing known about Zagraveil - his hate-fueled ideal.

His story starts as a tragedy - all of his relatives fell to an unknown illness, causing him to become the scapegoat of this terror by the people from his homeland. Shunned, scorned, and finally outcast, he was left with a burning anger with no one to point it to. Except for one thing that he had realized one fateful day - if gods truly did exist, and that they truly watched over the world, then there is only one explanation for his misfortune.

It is that his fate is being toyed by the gods. Finding a new drive to push himself forward, Zagraveil journeyed onward to cast his vengeance upon those worshiped figures, and show the world that there is no "greater power" - that no one else shall control one's fate other than one's self. It is in such a journey that he encountered Morelli and unexpectedly got into a fight with him - a battle that spanned days without rest. Without anyone giving up, the two formed a rivalry, which grew into camaraderie. Soon enough, he became the first ally Morelli ever conscripted, but not due to him being subdued, rather to the two forming a profound respect to each other.

As Morelli grew in power, so did he. It did not take long for Zagraveil to taste the glory that comes with slaying gods, and to further firm up his absurd ideal.

Weapons & Armor
Carapace of The God Slayer - A full set of armor made from the carcasses of fallen war deities. It is the only thing capable of maintaining its form without having Zagraveil's anti-god curse erode it into nothingness. Stripped of its divine properties, it bears no enhancement other than it being extremely sturdy, to the point that even godly strikes could barely put a dent to it.

It is repaired and reinforced with newly obtained war deity carcass over time.

None. Zagraveil brings nothing with him. With no attachment, he is beyond the shackles of an ordinary man's moral conscience.
Skills & Abilities
Perilous Paragon - Before becoming the terror that he is now, he was a man of many professions. He has the makings of a great knight, combined with the ruthlessness of a frenzied gladiator, he can fight like a savage beast trained in the field of war. While his moves may display a fighting style closely resembling that of a berserker's, he is not without tactics.

One Who Fells Gods - While Morelli is known to be the overlord, Zagraveil is known to be the slaughterer. His name strikes fear in the hearts of the men, enough to send a lot running away in cowardice. His infamy alone could be used to subdue weak-willed individuals.
Spells & Magic
Anti-Divine - An ability developed through time, with sheer hatred, disbelief, and a lot of godly ichor consumption. Like a mortal man obtains poison resistance through constant exposure, Zagraveil's resistance against divine properties strengthens through his consumption of godly ichor.

Any and all entities that are divine in nature (e.g. Gods, Divine Relics, God-based Powers) are greatly reduced in effectiveness when against Zagraveil. In consequence, the effectiveness of Zagraveil's actions against them are heavily strengthened.

Corruption of Purpose - Due to his anti-godly essence, anything he touches is corrupted by a curse, marking its body with numerous spreading red cracks - strengthening its offensive capabilities twofold. While these are not lethal in nature, prolonged exposure tends to make the curse act like a powerful poison that will slowly corrode its host, causing a slow and extremely painful death.

Ironically, it is removed through any form of divine blessing or magic.
Weaknesses
There Are No Gods - Zagraveil's disbelief in the existence of a "greater power", accompanied by his anti-divine properties, is immune to any form of godly aid. This means that any form of blessing, even if it would come from Morelli himself, would be nullified when applied to him.

Limits of The Mortal Shell - Technically, Zagraveil is still human. He will die much like a mortal would, provided he runs out of godly ichor to consume - the only thing prolonging his corroded mortality.
