"Aw, man. That sucks. I hope she recovers well."
Elizabeth blinked. "Game? Routine?"

Sylvia turned to Elizabeth and smiled. "Brit is a cheerleader. She performed her routine at the football game last week."

 

[Reiyumi]

Elizabeth nodded slightly before pulling out her notebook and a pencil.
Alex turned his attention to the notebook.

Sylvia glanced at her notebook as well, although she looked away quickly in case Elizabeth didn't want her to look at it.

Elizabeth didn't even notice as she continued to draw what appeared to be a dragon.
Alex looked to Sylvia. "Well, tell Brittany I said hi."
He then started back towards his table.

"I will! Bye, Alex!" Sylvia said brightly.

Elizabeth looked up at Sylvia. "So... Is that a normal thing for him?"

"What?" Sylvia asked, turning to Elizabeth.

 

[Reiyumi]

"You know, asking how people are and... I guess, hoping they're okay." Elizabeth shrugged.

"Oh, yeah." Sylvia nodded.

 

[Reiyumi]

Elizabeth thought and looked at her notebook before she closed it. "So.... Has that ever lead to people crushing on him?"

Sylvia tilted her head and shrugged. "Not sure."

 

[Reiyumi]

Elizabeth nodded slightly and looked to her notebook before she slipped into her bag. She rested her hands on the table and looked around the cafeteria once more.

Sylvia watched her as she did so.

Elizabeth looked back at her. "So..."

"So?" Sylvia asked brightly, tilting her head once again.

 

[Reiyumi]

"What about you? Anyone ever have a crush on you?" Elizabeth tapped a finger on the table as quietly as she could.

Sylvia smiled a little. "I suppose they might have. I wouldn't know though." She responded.

 

[Reiyumi]

"Huh..." Elizabeth mumbled. She shrugged and glanced over at the table where Alex and his friends were goofing off. "I find that strange."

Sylvia tilted her head and blushed. "What do you mean by that?"

 

[Reiyumi]

Elizabeth glanced at her. "I mean, how could anyone resist telling you how adorable you are?"

Sylvia blushed more, turning away from Elizabeth and smiling uncontrollably. "Why, thank you-"

Elizabeth smiled at that reaction and settled her head on her hands. "So cute..."

Sylvia continued to look away, smiling to herself shyly.

Elizabeth eventually just closed her eyes and went quiet. She listened to the hum of conversation in the cafeteria.
