Don't know if this is the right place but what's a nation building rp? I've been here two years and I still don't know. Is it like civ in text form?

It's generally an RP that takes place at the nation level rather than individuals. Players control whole countries/areas/societies, however the GM divides it. Sometimes they control individuals as well, but it's usually the country's leaders or others that are highly influential on a world scale.

I don't get it. What it is? How do you play them? Is it just the worldbuilding round table?
