I'm playing with some different ideas here. Dystopia, science fantasy and the supernatural which also gives you the opportunity to play who you want. You could play an enhanced human, fitted out with the best cybernetics the Knights Templar has to offer in order to hunt down the outsiders, you could play the half-breed of a human and one of the outsiders, living on the outskirts of society as they try to get by and stay hidden.
Or you could just play an average Joe human happened to be named Joe, who owns a sandwich shop in London and is tired of the lack of respect given to him by Paladins who don't appreciate how much work he puts into his goat's cheese.

History: Hazel (born Hugo) was born in London to a more "rough" area and as cutbacks hit the police force increased crime rose and her neighbourhood was soon controlled by gangs. Looking for a way out, she and her childhood friend Stephanie (Steph for short) joined the military. Due to her process advancing through the ranks was incredibly difficult, but not impossible. It was slow, but eventually she and Steph made it to special forces in the SAS.

This led the two to the Ukraine, to extract a VIP from the hot spot of Pervomaisk. He was a defector from Russian intelligence carrying vital info that had been pinned down due to the fighting. They day they arrived to exact him was also the day of the Pervomaisk massacre, and the day the old world died. While Stephanie and Hazel made it out alive with the defector, most of their squad was killed.

The two would see further engagement throughout the next few years, mostly fighting on the home front and across Europe and America as parts of the old world crumbled. However, they were unprepared for the new enemies and this came to a head when they were deployed in Washington DC to assist US forces (and protect British assets).
They came under attack, and were pinned down. In the middle of engagement, Stephanie was hit taking a bullet for her friend. It tore through them both, with Hazel also taking it and while injured she threw herself onto a grenade. This was viewed a selfless attempt to save the British ambassador but in reality she had been trying to protect Stephanie and her squad.

Unable to serve due to her injuries, her military career was basically over but her efforts had not gone unnoticed. The ambassador became personally invested in her recovery, and helped Hazel pursue various cybernetics. The first was her heart, but others followed over the years as her body was rebuilt. These were upgraded to military grade when she was approached by the Paladin Branch, on the recommendations of the ambassador himself.

For obvious reasons, some aspects of her identity were kept secret from many members of the branch but the ambassador pulled a few strings in her favour, a final "thank you" for saving him during the incident in DC.

Personality: Despite the grizzly nature of her job, she has a strong moral compass. While not having a no-kill rule she does not go out of her way to execute outsiders like many of her colleagues might, and takes no pleasure from it. She also refuses to harm children, having a soft spot for them and some domestic animals.
She's closed off emotionally, and plays things by the book.
Due to the nature of The Holy British Empire, Hazel is also keeping some aspects of herself behind closed doors. Although she disagrees with how people like her are treated by the Empire she sees it's existence as a better alternative to the chaos of a disorganised British Isles, leaving citizens open to attack from outsiders.

Notable Skills:
-Skilled with firearms (preferring pistols), blades and hand to hand combat.
-While not a hacker per say, she has a knowledge of computers good enough to stay on her toes around them.
-Infiltration/stealth as well as some military tactics used by the security forces. She can blend in.
-Perceptive, even if she didn't use her robotic eyes she can detect threats.
-While not an engineer, she knows enough about her own cybernetics to make very basic repairs if they become damaged in the field.

Abilities:
-Robotic eyes: Allowing her to record or capture at will. These also come with a TDS (Threat Detection System), an ideal enhancement for anyone with a dangerous profession. The TDS allows the user to scan for heat signatures through solid objects as well as weapons and other threats loaded in a databse.
-Ears: these ears allow her to hear through walls as well as hear things far away too, when activated with the TDS.
-Her arms are military grade cybernetic replacements allowing her more strength and flexibility. Together capable of lifting up to 500kg (for reference, the record for Olympic weightlifting is currently 473kg by Lasha Talakhadze). Able to punch through concrete and are bulletproof.
-Her legs are also military grade cybernetics such as the TLS (Tactical Leaping System), allowing the user to jump higher and further than any normal human, up to 32ft/9.75 meters (world record in 2019 is currently 29ft/8.95 meters). This system also allows for a greater running speed, up to 40mph (world record in 2019 is 28mph, held by Usain Bolt).

Notable flaws: Cybernetics made her vulnerable to an EMP blast, which would temporarily disable all of them outside of her heart. She's also prone to anger, stubborn to a fault and feels she needs to prove herself. Some of her colleagues see her as a "diversity hire" as it's rare for a woman to be in her position and she would very much like to burn that narrative.

Gear: As well as the enhancements listed above, she has the following.
-The left arm has a grappling hook attachment, while the right hand has a SARU (Stealth and Recognisance Unit).
-The SARU detaches from the rest of the arm, and using the fingers crawls like a spider through the likes or air ducts. It can be remotely controlled by the user and comes equipped with recording equipment, a grappling hook and a taser.

-Her heart is partially cybernetic.

He learned how to hunt down beasts and even took trophies from his kills.
Personality: loyal to a fault but also a ass

Abilities: Witcher sight, the ability to last up to a half hour without oxygen, reinforced bones and enhanced endurance.

A solid iron sword as it is made with a special blend that only Witcher’s know about as they are the only weapons to harm fey. And certain injections for cybernetics to increase abilities.

And elderich injection: made to be a last choice as it will destroy cybernetics and kill the Witcher if caught by any other race or human integration.)

History:

• A’s history begins before his birth. His parents were witches, like him. They belonged to a Coven of Witches living and practicing their craft in the secret, supernatural underground of New York City. While their parents did magic, danced with the devil, naked in the moonlight - you know, witch stuff - A got to play with the other children of the coven.

One night, their parents were slaughtered in an anti-supernatural raid. Before the children could join their parents in Hell, or Heaven, or nowhere, they were spirited away, into the care of a wealthy New York socialite, who also happened to be a vampire. His secret was apparently more well hidden than A’s parents, and unbeknownst to the children until much later, had entered into a clandestine blood-pact with the members of the coven in case of this very eventuality.

A’s life from there was non traditional, to say the least. The children of the coven grew up together, fast friends, forming a fledgling coven of their own. Or, as they came to call it, a gang. They were always welcome at The Estate, but by the time they were teens, the group had fled the nest. Troublemakers, punks, rabble-rousers, hooligans, teenage delinquents. A was their leader. Their protector. They were family. They were a force to be reckoned with. And the city would soon know their names.

(Optional) Organisations: Birthwater and the Holy British Empire. Finn is the ruler of Birthwater, his Baron status allowing him to cling on as an unelected official despite his unpopular decisions with the locals. Put in place by the Emperor, he rules by any means necessary.

History: The Peyton family were British in origin, moving to America in the 1920s to start a new life. Their metalworking business nearly went under on Black Tuesday but managed to climb out of the great depression in the lead-up to WWII. Being of British origin (and seeing an opportunity) they were one of many who called for American intervention in Europe, seeing not just a boom in business but making a few friends as well. They adapted to the times throughout the 20th century, finding new means of supplying their country.
The 21st century would see Oliver Peyton elected as Senator for Colorado, Finn's grandfather and a man Finn himself looked up to. He wanted little more than to be like his father and worked hard to continue the family legacy. School led to college where he made sure to remain on his best behaviour as every action he took would reflect back on his family.
Everything they had planned for a future decades in the making (which would see the Peytons in the White House) was shattered on October 14th, 2020. His father, Benny Peyton was killed in the fighting that followed along with his entire squad and any chance of his future Presidency while his grandfather was killed in the attack on the Capitol.

Only he and his eldest brother George remained in the family line. A devastated Finn was powerless to watch as America descended into Civil War, fleeing to the UK and using the last of he family fortune to get them in and try to start over. His brother had been taught well, and invested in the right places while Finn continued his education. As the HBE was in it's infancy, the two brothers invested in it too and even managed to gain a few supporters from the states to help with it's rise.
Just as the two suspected, this gained them favour. Finn focused on the north, where the wall between the HBE and Scotland saw opportunity while George remained in London as a friend in the Emperor's court. After seeing part the construction of Birthwater, Finn was named a Baron (the old ruler had become a problem) and deemed it's rightful ruler.

While studying at university in England he met a woman named Deborah Hinchcliffe and the two formed a connection. Upon reaching his position he invited her to move up north with him and two years later he proposed. Not only did he care for her, but her family held favour in the Emperor's court. Their child was born not too long after, named Oliver (for his grandfather).

Personality: Finn is prepared to do anything if it means clinging onto power, but prefers not to get his hands dirty. He takes no pleasure from seeing others hurt due to his actions but deems that ugly things must happen if order is to be maintained. To say he is ruthless would be unfair, for he does take action to help Birthwater and listens to the people. He keeps up appearances, with a smile and a wave but behind the scenes he finds a lot of Birthwater's citizens repulsive. They are the people he rules, and their survival and opinion of him is important in continuing that rule.

His rule, however is only the 2nd most important thing to him with his family taking the first priority. Oliver in particular he is fiercely protective of, while he and his wife have grown a bit apart during the course of his rule. Oliver is not just the future of the Peyton line but also Finn's future.
Due to losing most of his family to the events of October 14th, he holds a bold hatred against the outsiders. While at first he feared them, this has developed into a burning hatred within his soul.

Notable skills:
-Political cunning: Taught by his grandfather and older brother, he is able to navigate an ever-changing political world.
-Silver tongue: Is able to keep up appearances.
-Business/economic knowledge: He comes from a long line of businessmen, and it was his suggestions for the border wall that gained him favour with the Emperor.
-Outsider knowledge: Since October 14th, 2020 he has learned everything he can about the outsiders.
-Combat training: Finn may be a politician first, and a fighter second but he has received training in Krav Maga, with a blade and with a staff.

Abilities:
Poison Resistance: Due to the majority of his organs being cybernetic (or at least partially cybernetic) he is resistant to poisons that would otherwise cause these organs to shut down. He can't even get food poisoning
-His right arm is cybernetic, allowing for more strength and flexibility. It's bulletproof, and can punch through concrete.
-His left eye is cybernetic, and can act as a camera, is able to zoom in like a scope up to 400 yards (365.76 meters).

Notable flaws:
-Wrathful
-Somewhat paranoid
-His son can be used against him fairly easily.
-Although his organs may prevent him from being poisoned he is still a squishy human.

Gear:
-Cybernetics (see Abilities)
-Cybernetic Lungs: Allows him to breathe underwater and saves him from poisons or other threats that might otherwise affect his ability to breathe.
-Revolver

Protection Units
Acting as his own bodyguards and peacekeepers, these 6ft 4 (1.93) bulletproof machines possess enough strength to tear a man's arm from it's socket, and can run up to 22 mph. They are equipped with armour-piercing rounds in their assault rifles. He has taken various steps to make sure they cannot be hacked (it's not impossible, just difficult), but they have a one-word shutdown code he changes every five days.
Their main weaknesses are in their joints, which are not as heavily enforced. An EMP blast will fry it's circuitry as well.

Divine Intervention Unit (Mark II)
Finn only has one in his possession, for they are reserved for high-ranking Imperial officials. This older and damaged model was given to him by his brother after Oliver was born. A 7ft 2 (2.184 meters) behemoth carries four retractable blades (one for each limb), can run up to 30mph and is covered head to toe in armour composed from a titanium alloy, with a few runes to hold off outsiders.
However, it's speed comes at a cost and a few of the joints are not as heavily reinforced. Under the shoulders and the back of it's knees carry very little armour at all.
An EMP will disable it temporarily, but due to EMP hardened systems it can reactivate and repair itself.

Extra details: Has a taste for older music, and practices the guitar behind the scenes. It's mostly American music, a reminder of the home he lost.
Behind the back of the HBE he is sending funds to The Free America movement in the hopes that his son might be able to set foot in his home country.

History:
David was born in odd circumstances to say the least. His mother was a beautiful dryad, who fell in love with an Armenian immigrant that ran a sandwich shop in London. They did the deed, and a week later his mother gave birth to an acorn. Not a particularly strange looking acorn either, a little bigger than normal, but otherwise unremarkable. She planted it next to her tree and waited. 9 months later, it had grown into a sapling and from it appeared a human looking baby. She brought it home to his father, who was ecstatic to have a child.

And from there things became simpler. He went to a normal school, made friends, pursued his interests, and lived a pretty normal life. Every weekend, his mother would teach him about his powers and what being a dryad meant, which were really mother-son bonding days disguised as something educational.

After university, he pursued medicine and eventually became a pediatrician. He works long hours at the hospital, often taking on other's shifts and responsibilities. Occasionally, he'll help out at his parent's sandwich shop and feed the stray cat outside.


Personality:
David is understanding and empathetic. He cares a lot for other sentient beings, whether they be of his species or not, sometimes even people he hates. Anyone can go up to him and rant about their problems, and he'll just listen and offer to help. There's very little someone could do to make David hate them.

Being responsible for children's health, David has learned to be firm when it comes to important matters and patient when it's something less urgent. He's also a workaholic that loves his job, because it gives him purpose. If he were to lose it, he'd most likely fall into a deep depression. He's the type of guy who needs a morally good reason to be alive.


Notable skills:
Healthcare professional: While he does specifically work in the field of pediatrics, he has gone through medical training and can perform procedures on both adults and children.

Defusing situations: When working in healthcare, many people learn how to defuse situations, as patients, or their families, can get very emotional. David is one of them. He can calm people down and have them see reason with a few words of wisdom.


Abilities:
Controlling nature: While not as powerful as his mother or other full dryads, he can manipulate plants, including plant products, to grow and move.

Animal charmer: David has a way with animals, and can command smaller ones to do as he asks.

Magical resistance: Being of the feywilds to some degree, he is resistant to magical charm or influence.


Notable flaws:
Fear of fire: He isn't outright flammable, but he is more afraid of fire than the regular person.

His tree: Unlike his mother, who can only be weakened by the death of her tree, the death of his tree could kill him.

No combat training: David cannot fight. He has never held a firearm in his life and he refuses to physically harm anyone, even if he did, he wouldn't be very good. However, he doesn't get panicked easily, especially when it comes to gore.


Gear:
No real gear, but he carries around an on call bag that's full of vegan snacks, water bottles, medical notes, and extra pencils.


Extra details:
David can eat human food, except for animal products, which cause him to become extremely sick. This makes it so he can pass for a vegan, who's into soaking up sunlight.

Avid recycler, he doesn't appreciate his brethren being thrown in the bin, oftentimes he'll make origami out of scrap paper and place them around the house. He feels really bad when he sees stuff made of wood.

Rarely swears. A habit he picked up over the years.

Nuan can be described as a capable member of the Knights Templar, though perhaps not as devout even within the confines of Chinese Christianity. As a templar she follows the edicts of the order and is on par with other members in terms of ruthlessness and lawfulness. She is admittedly a bit of “wildfire”, exhibiting a fiery temperament and sarcastic demeanor. Beyond those traits it is hard to get a read on her as her stoic nature leads it hard to inquire about her true thoughts and ideals. At the very least, she abhors the undead and that will dictate an amount of loyalty to the order should she come into a place of thought that questions her loyalties.

Qian Nuan was born in Beijing in 2009 to a large family of laborers and public servants.

She would be the eldest of a generation in Beijing that would witness unspeakable horrors that they could not imagine. Not even the assault on Nanjing in 1937 could compare. As a magical rift opened in the center of Beijing, the world changed. As a member of Beijing’s Public Security Bureau, Nuan witnessed the incident firsthand and surviving it changed something inside of her. But most people would change someone if an undead scourge tore apart the home you had known since childhood.

During the incident, Nuan found herself fortunate despite being unequipped to really handle the flood of undead. Most of her countrymen likened them to the mythological jiangshi and screams of the end times began to circulate. Keeping morale as a public security officer was difficult. Surviving was even harder. Fortunately, a contingent of templar were visiting Beijing when the rift opened, offering much needed support and understanding about quelling the undead and containing the magical rift that had sired them. Of these templar, Nuan met one by the name of Tsang Shìlóng from Hong Kong. Nuan didn’t know it at the time, but the Hong Kong native was to be her introduction to the world of the occult and supernatural; her introduction to the Knights Templar.

When Beijing was freed from the grasp of the undead in 2030, she felt her time as a public security officer was done. She took Shìlóng’s offer and returned with him to Hong Kong to begin the process of joining the Knights Templar. It has been ten years since that day and ten years since the edicts against the undead by the Chinese government. Nuan is positive that soon, more situations will rear their head. Should they do so, she'll be ready to take them head-on.

Instead of a full invasion she's taking her time, sending scouts to assess the realm while spies and other units mingle amongst the humans and other Outsiders.
Thistle is one of those scouts.

History: (Can be as long or as short as you want, so long as there is some information as to how they are in their current position): Thistle was born in Greyseer's territory, a recent Fey who ascended to the position of High Fey and two years within our realm was 17 in Greyseer's domain. She had literally slowed down the passage of time compared to our world in order for potential troops to grow up.
It was expected of the Fey living there to follow her, but Thistle had a different reason. Rather than wanting to serve her Queen she instead pursued a life in the academy for the chance of exploration. She'd seen all there was to see in the domain, and if she was to leave of her own accord she risked the chance of exile.

The Academy was her chance to get out. After a few years of training, she was sent on a mission into the mortal realm that suited her greatly. She was to live amongst the humans, making contact with potential allies in the other so-called Outsiders and "experience life as a human" in order to learn their various strengths and weaknesses.

Her mission has been more of a party.

Personality: Thistle, like a lot of Pixie (and many Fey in general) is very curious by nature, and will often go out of her way to try and find new things. She has a penchant for mischievous fun, but is still able to recognise when a situation has turned serious or dangerous (that much was instilled into her at the Academy). Whether or not she'll back down or her curious nature will push her to investigate more is like a coin toss.
She cares little for politics, religion or similar concepts. The adventure of life takes centre stage when it comes to all of those things, but she takes care in not compromising her mission. Not out of a loyalty to Greyseer but as failure would mean her adventure would stop.

She can be quite childlike and teasing, and has a soft spot for children and animals (in particular, dogs).

-Fate Manipulation: Thistle is able to create small twists of fate within her environment to her betterment or is even able to inflict minor bad luck on opponents. A slot machine turning in her favour, getting the right hand during poker or having the red light turn green are all examples of this. She can also use it to defend herself to a certain extent. While not impossible to it, she can make it particularly difficult for somebody to land a blow on her.
That said, she has to be incredibly careful and subtle in how she does this as the public are aware of Fey, who typically have good luck.

-Her recorded max flight speed was 72.420km/h at the Academy.
-Can see in the dark
-Has resistance against mind control/charm abilities such as that of a Succubi or Vampire.
-Her Fey metabolism gives her a resistance to human diseases.

Yes the name is meant as a joke. Thought it would be a kinda dark humor. AIDS kills vampire. But they have a mind of their own and can act on their own. They aren’t property but partners to the Witcher’s.

That kinda goes against the tone of the RP is all. I could look into potential names if that would help.

It isn’t a drone as they have a personality matrix and even a copied human mind put in it.

History: Max was born in 1850 on a plantation in the South, but thankfully his family were smuggled North on the Underground railroad when he was seven years old. However, the young boy had seen enough and had taken more than enough. One memory in particular the Vampire recalls was when he and a younger boy smuggled food from the kitchen to give to an older woman who was being starved. They were caught, but Max took the fall deliberately.
His family made it all the way to Canada, with a few of them dying on the journey and tried to start a life. It was a struggle, but at least they could struggle as free men and women.
Max would return to America along with his brothers Jimmy and Charlie against their fathers wishes to fight against the Confederates and all three of them were enlisted into the USCT, serving in the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment. They made it through several battles together, but during the 2nd battle of Fort Wagner Max lost one of his brothers. Charlie would take a bullet to the skull and was killed instantly, while Jimmy was stabbed by a bayonet. As Max tried to drag his younger brother to safety, he was shot three times by musket fire but persisted regardless. A fourth shot pierced his right lung, and he fell. Bleeding to death near the Union line, an army medic tended to him and his brother.

But this was no ordinary medic. He could not save the brothers through the means at the time, so changed them. As the two became Vampires, they could no longer serve in the 54th as it could potentially break the Masquerade. A lot of Vampires did serve, but they were older and had more control. The risk of two newbloods going into a blood frenzy and risk exposing a centuries old secret was too high. That, and the medic had gone against the orders of his superiors in turning the two young men and if found out all three of them could be killed. Max's tenacity in carrying his brother had been what inspired the medic to change them both.
No longer in active service and assumed dead by both sides the two brothers and their Sire instead worked against a conspiracy of Vampires serving the Confederacy while also learning about their new life.

When the war was over the medic, a man named Thomas took the brothers in. The three lived a life outside of The Collective and started a ranch in order to feed off of cattle. It didn't last, for after a few years the locals drove them off under the threat of burning the ranch to the ground. Instead, they went on the road and earned their keep as bounty hunters. Not hunting down criminals, but monsters. The Wild West, as it came to be known offered the three men opportunity so long as they kept moving and disposed of the monsters quietly.

Along the way, Max met with a witch named Caroline and the two had a brief romance but due to his immortality he knew it wasn't to last. They ended on good terms.
America changed, but their brotherhood stayed the same as the West changed. They had earned enough money in their bounty hunting, through gambling and (eventually) careful investments to start over anywhere they wanted. While Thomas wanted to stay in America, the two brothers were unsure. While en-route to Mexico for a job they were ambushed by Collective forces.

Despite all efforts, the three men had made a name for themselves through their hunting and were given a choice. They could join The Collective willingly, or not at all. They were outnumbered and threatened with death if they chose against the Collective, so they reluctantly joined their ranks. The three were deployed in areas across North America and (eventually) other regions such as Eurasia to protect Collective assets as enforcers and reclaimers. They were the muscle for the shadow organisation, but their acts did not go unnoticed nor unappreciated by some higher ups. Europe erupted into flames as The Collective had a fight with itself and the three were forced to pick sides.

Thankfully, they chose correctly but this peace did not last as rogue factions from The Collective broke off and supported the rise of a man in Germany. During World War II the three brothers would see some of the bloodiest fighting, and end up being a part of a secret raid on Houska Castle where the Nazis were trying to open a portal to another dimension. Thomas and Jimmy were both killed in the raid and having lost both of brothers Max left The Collective, faking his death and disappearing.
He had travelled to rural New Zeland and started a farm, but he had to be careful. Outside of trips of the local village he was pretty much a recluse, but did help out the locals if they had problems. Despite appearing to be young he was dubbed "Old Max" by the villagers due to his nature but as time went on he invested in disguising himself as an elder. Eventually, he faked his own death and turned up at his own funeral pretending to be a long-lost son. As such, the farm went back into his own hands instead of going to the government to sell off.

2020 changed everything for Max. New Zeland was a peaceful country, known for farming, rugby and being the film set for fantasy movies. The most violent incident that decade had been a 2019 terrorist attack Christchurch, but after the rift opened it somewhat descended (though nowhere near as much as other countries). Thankfully, Max was away from the cities so was untouched by the small mobs and religious attacks and even opened his doors to a young man suspected of being a Succubus. His farm took in more and more people, with Max even paying them when a few offered to help with the sheep in exchange for sanctuary.

In 2025 he took in a Muslim couple suspected of witchcraft and things changed once more, for a mob had followed them. Since WW2 Max had sworn never to use violence ever again but as he confronted the mob, diplomacy failed and they turned violent. Their mistake was underestimating him, mistaking him for an ordinary human. They did not live to regret it, for he was running low on blood at the time and ended up frezying due to the wounds inflicted on him in the attack.

Understandably, the residents of the farm were horrified by such a violent display. Some had their suspicions that Max had been a Vampire, especially those who were actual outsiders. Horrified by his own actions and fearing that the Collective or human mobs would come after him (hurting the farm in the process) he decided to leave. It was left in the capable hands of those he'd let in.

Since then he has been travelling the globe, helping folks and fighting monsters.

Personality: Despite his youthful appearance, Max comes across as an old soul. Despite being a Vampire he does not indulge in bloody activities, and only feeds to keep himself from being a risk to others. Being from a different time, he is a bit of a traditionalist but is more old fashioned rather than hateful/bigoted. He's experienced a lot of racism himself over the centuries, so detests hateful attitudes anyway.

Despite his skills, he's not an overly violent man. It's a last resort to him, but he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Unlike some more moral Vampires he isn't repulsed or horrified by what he is, for he has "grown used to it" over nearly two centuries.

“My name is Doctor Kleinhausse, and I am here to assist you. For those of you that have heard of me, you know I am a very straightforward and direct individual. Protocols are in place to protect you while also serving as a line of discipline to keep the unthinkable from occurring. Now, you look upon me with curious eyes. Before I continue, I must tell you that while I may no longer look human, I very much am. Atleast, in essence I am human. Now, how did I get into this position? That is a long story.. But let me start from the beginning.”

Moving over to a large map of modern europe Doctor Kleinhausse points up to a position on the map in the black forest area of Germany. “I was reborn in the fires of the Second World War, attempting to give my fuhrer what he so desires.. A weapon with which he could decimate his foes and bring about a swift end to the war.” the Doctor scoffed at the word Fuhrer, showing obvious distaste for the individual or entity that he had once served under.

“It was here that we began our tests, very early… roughly around 1936 is when it all began to pick up. You see, Adolph Hitler was part of the Thule Society, a group of individuals and occultists seeking out the darker parts of the world while making room for what they believed was the ‘greater Aryan people’. Now, this as we know it is rather… different from what we have discovered in the last century but nonetheless, they believed in racial superiority and that there was more to the world than meets the eye. While their studies were misplaced in some places, we came to realize they were correct. There was more to the world than the eye would let on.”

“This is where I come into the picture. Graduating with a PHD in Physics I was an unlikely candidate for what was to follow, yet my connections led me to a path that made me what I am today. My field of expertise shifted towards spiritualism and that which is hidden from us, or atleast what was hidden from us. My occult interests led me to dive deeper and deeper into the depths of the unknown before I felt something push back. My insatiable drive for understanding caused the absolute destruction of my physical form, leading me to become a disembodied essence.. What we known now as Ectoplasm.

Turning back to the agents the Doctor seemed to stare, though the lens’s where his eyes would be did not change. “That is where my history ends for from that point forward I was constantly shifted from one scenario to the next. While the last twenty years had been very overt, the 80 before that were not. What had been done then still remains in effect even today, and with that being the case my story ends here. From this point forward you will come to know me from what you see, hear and experience around me. I do hope you are prepared for it will not be an easy journey, it never has been.”

Personality:
The doctor is an individual of great patience, discipline and experience. He is one of the few who is unafraid to stare into the depths of hell, to walk forth into the land of the wicked and damned for he himself has already experienced death once and knows what awaits him. This outlook on life has left him rather distant in his humanity, compassion and mercy. Despite this he is a man of great bravery, courage and drive. Always the one to enter a scenario first to lead by example, to show that while fear exists, it is to temper the metal of which we are all forged from.

Tinkerer/Inventor- The doctors long life has lent him many a skill when it comes to rigging up devices and shaping them to fit his purpose. He is capable of inventing new devices as well as having many objects to assist with already existing threats.

Abilities:
Synthetic Muscle Exoskeleton- The doctor is contained within a non-powered chassis of synthetic muscle and reinforced titanium. It allows him to contain his essence as well as cohesive interact with the physical world.
Ectoplasm Manipulation- Doctor Kleinhausse is capable of manipulating his very essence. Allowing him to push it into tight locking mechanisms to unlock even the most complex of locks. He is also capable of taking over individuals and objects for a period of time, controlling them or reanimating them. While the reanimation is possible it is only temporary before the entity which has been brought back eventually succumbs to his inevitable death.

History: Di’s history is one of curiosity and an unbelievable fascination with the odder things in the world. She was from the start a person who would take anything not nailed down and try to sell it for something to eat. While not a refugee, her parents were killed when she was 11 and from that point forward Di was on her own, taking shelter in churches and under the roof of any who was willing to give her shelter even if it was only for a day. This type of behavior ended up imprinting on the girl, her desire to keep moving becoming a key part of who she was.

This all changed whoever when she ended up squatting in an abandoned building above the catacombs of Paris, a building of age, one extending back two centuries and containing an entrance into the dark labyrinth beneath. It was here that Di began to seek out objects and sell them, plundering the depths to find things that could allow her to get food. Yet, despite her constant trips into the catacombs she had yet to find anything worth more than a days worth of meals. This however would change dramatically.

It was on her 17th birthday that Di decided to take a trip farther than she had before, taking with her only a map of the tunnels she had since traveled through. As she walked through the unlit tunnels of the catacombs she realized that her light was beginning to go out. Out of fear Di began to try and run back to the point she had come in at but only succeeded in getting herself lost. It was when the last bit of her light went out and darkness enveloped her that she began to see things around her, visages and faces and that of glowing wisps. From the darkness came blue light, enough for her to see, yet she saw things she didn’t expect.

Di had heard of the supernaturals, everyone at this point had. They had burst into their lives.. or perhaps they had always been there. But despite it all, down in the darkness she found those that she had been walking among yet had never noticed. The spirits she had run into did not try to frighten her or even do her harm, instead they seemed to beckon her forwards and towards an area covered over by the bones of untold hundreds. With no where else to go and the wisps not lighting any other path Di had only one choice, to go through the sea of bones to find what the spirits were trying to show her.

After several hours of moving bones she finally came across a symbol, a Knights cross inlaid into a cracked stone. Pulling at the crack she managed to dislodge the stone to see light erupt from within. Thinking she had uncovered a path out of the catacombs Di pushed herself to get a space large enough for her to fit through. After a short time Di managed to fit her meager frame down and through the hole only to find it dropped down and into a small room. To each side of her were braziers burning with a blue light. The light seemed to focus on a tome sitting upon an ornate pedestal. Unable to help herself she opened the tome only to feel herself compelled to continue to page through it.

As she continued to page through it the book suddenly began to turn the pages on its own, its speed increasing before suddenly stopping on a page filled with runic circles and odd images. Di gazed and studied the images before she began to feel a incredible pain shooting through her mind. Her nose and eyes began to bleed as the pain made her scream out, though there was no one to hear her. Eyes shutting she clutched her head before she felt everything spin. Hitting the ground Di fell unconscious as her mind was cast out of her body.

The Entity known as the Raven Lord had called to her, her actions had awakened from its slumber something that had laid dormant since the 13th century had come to a close. As it brought Di to it, she had no idea what she was looking at, its form was beyond her minds ability to comprehend, like a gibbering mass of teeth and flesh, yet it also seemed like a distinctive bird like creature. Whatever it was it was something Di struggled to come to terms with. She had read of the undead, strangers and even of the shapeshifters. Yet, here she was looking at an Old One, something terrible, benevolent and yet even malevolent all at once. Its Machinations something Di could never hope to understand. Yet here in the darkness it offered Di something she couldn’t refuse… knowledge, the means to seek more and a way to get out of the catacombs.

Despite her body screaming at every attempt to think of the entity she decided upon accepting the pact and her only chance to get out of the labyrinth of tunnels. The feeling was almost immediate. While still outside of her body she felt her mind scream, the feeling of fire within bursting to the front and threatening to give her an aneurysm. However, after several moments of pain came the flood of information… and the loss of something.

Awakening Di blinked several times but soon came to realize that she could no longer see. However, around her she began to see the outlines of figures, walls, entities and other objects. Di had stared into the maw of madness and as a price of passing through mentally cohesive it had enacted a price… it had taken her vision. Di managed to clamber up to her feet only to feed something give way beneath her. The rocks that once were structurally strong began to shatter causing her to fall suddenly.

The feeling of weightlessness consumed her before she felt the dampness of water overtake her body. She tried to hold her breath but ended up sucking in water, drowning and unable to see any way to escape. Feeling the life slipping away from her she closed her now useless eyes and just floated there, unable to keep what was happening from taking her life. Things however did not end for Di.

Awakening Di suddenly lurched up and out of the water, her back arching and her body screaming as her muscles strained to find dry land. Clambering and grasping onto what felt like rocks Di pulled herself onto the banks of the Seine River. She began to cough up water before collapsing in a heap. By the time she managed to wake up she felt her heat of what she thought was the sun. Pushing herself up and flipping over onto her back she stared visionless up and at the sky. While the entity had taken her vision as a price, it had given her Witch sight. The ability to see things as they truly art, yet in a way that was unnatural, she perceived things from an outside perspective… as if able to see herself as well. The feeling made her mind hurt yet as much as she tried to push it away, she couldn’t.

Over the next year Di had begun to grow accustomed to the changes wrought by the Raven Lord. While she struggled the first three weeks it had begun to speak to her directly. Through its voice and guidance she was able to get a grasp on what had happened, how she was able to survive and what she was now. It admitted that the Di she knew had perished and in its place she was remade. While she was still unsure of what it meant, the black wings coiled around her body as well as the budding magic she had begun to wield showed that it spoke only the truth.

Personality:
Di Corbeau is an individual that is several beams short of a stable house. The Di that had existed before her run in with the entity was gone, her memories of the days before the event had burned into nothing. She was rebuilt and the memories returned to her from the Raven Lord only showed hints and glimpses at who she once was. Di however was not concerned with who she was, it was who she is that fills most of her waking thoughts. Di is still finding herself and forming a cohesive personality from the shattered fragments of her psyche. After a year she has made great progress but remains rather skittish and paranoid about new individuals.

While she a curious individual she remains aware of what is happening around her. She is often seen talking to herself, or at least that is how many see her. Di however is speaking with the Raven, still struggling to contain her thoughts to her mind rather than blurting out whatever comes up. This alone makes many view her with distaste, casting her off as a crazy woman rambling to herself about this and that.

Outside of the jeers and insults that get thrown Di’s way she has shown an aptitude for a more odd and different form of information and magic. To those that known she is an Eldritch Warlock. To those that do not she is a witch. Yet just as her magic stems from the unknown and unthinkable she is still unknown even to herself, struggling to form a cohesive person from the shattered individual she came from.

Notable skills: Knowledgeable, Witch Sight, Outside perception (She is able to see around her in a 360 degree view but does not see from her eyes but rather from above her body itself.

Abilities: Eldritch Magic, Flight (When she unfurls her wings which she keeps wrapped around her body.

Notable flaws: Herself. Di remains as massive hinderance to herself. Her inability to conform to many standards and situations makes it hard for her to blend it and keep herself hidden. Her mannerisms are often steeped in ‘We’ and ‘This one’ often referring to herself in a plural form as if there is more than one person within the body.

Extra details: Di is batshit crazy. She is often talking about insane ideas and the concepts she has been discussing with her Master. She is often seen drawing weird pictures or etching things onto objects as well as bringing these drawings onto the physical plane.

Di is blind, unable to see through natural means as well as to distinguish color unless focusing on doing that in specific.

She has the tome that caused her transformation chained to her side. Within are more runic circles and magical incantations that the Raven Lord has not let her explore yet. It is the only exception to her insatiable curiosity. She has not been able to turn the pages, her body simply not allowing her to.​

Birthwater is a small, recent town built along the coast and is near the border wall between the HBE and the Scotland Republic. With her true origins hidden Zellrys acts as the town's blacksmith, doing metalworking as well in order to make end's meet.

History: Time passes differently in the various levels of Hell. Four months may be four years, forty years, or even four hundred years. For Zellrys, the bastard child of a Lust devil and a human several months in the human world passed by as decades. She was confined to Hell to be trained as an agent to corrupt the souls of humans on Earth, as was standard practice for Succubi.
In order to weed out the humanity in her she was tasked with torturing souls in Hell, although the devil side is normally the most dominant she was her mother's daughter. She felt compassion and sympathy for those in Hell, being tortured for eternity and did the unthinkable, rebelling against the higher devils and staging an escape.
Out of the twenty she tried to free, most were recaptured but four escaped, being released from eternal torment.

She faced consequences for this, of course. Her left eye was plucked from it's socket and she was sentenced to live out the same torture of the humans she rescued. However, then came the Pervomaisk massacre. Demons from Hell were unleashed in a hot spot of conflict for the human race, and the existence of Devils and Demons was known to the human race.
This sent parts of Hell, who had previously relied on being hidden into a panic. Zellrys was counting on that, and used it to escape from Hell. Nobody would have noticed a young Succubus amongst the carnage.

She arrived in the human world, confused and hurt and kept her head down to avoid the authorities. Arriving in Poland initially she made her way across Europe where she helped refugees along the way with her powers. It took time, but they eventually made it to the UK. This was probably a mistake on her part due to what England was turning into but she managed to get those refugees to Scotland while the border wall was still under construction.

The town of Birthwater had only recently been formed out remnants of other towns along the coast and she decided to set up shop there, using skills she'd learned in Hell as a front to help smuggle people across the border.

Personality: Although most Succubus are wicked and evil creatures by nature, Zellrys appears to be the exception. Instead of reveling in the suffering of others, she is repulsed by it and will go out of her way to help those in need. She is somewhat repulsed by herself, given her origins but does not pity herself as that would simply be a waste of time.
As for her view on humanity, she holds them in a high regard despite what she's seen them do to each other and other species. They are misguided rather than outright evil as other beings (or even other humans) may view them.

Notable Skills: Skilled in infiltration, swordplay, blacksmithing (in particular creating weapons and armour), metalworking, aerial combat and hand-to-hand combat. Like most of her kind, she has a silver tongue.


Abilities:
Shapechanger: Is able to polymorph into another humanoid being she has made skin contact with. While not taking on any of their abilities or memories she is an identical copy in all other ways. While in this disguise she is unable to fly.

Wings: As well as being able to use them as a defence, she can fly up to 65km/h.
Draining Kiss: Like all Succubus she can drain the life-force of her victims through intimacy. As well as healing wounds, Succubi are able to drain the soul of a person if this is done long enough. They first have to work their prey into this position though, getting them to agree to a contract for their soul.
Low-level telepathy: Is able to create a telepathic bond with one individual upon skin-to-skin contact. Most Succubus use this to lure in their victims, and can even appear in their dreams.
Immortality (ageing): Although she can be killed, she will not age.

Fire Sorcery: She's only a Succubus so can only perform some low-level sorcery. She's able to ignite some melee weapons in Hellfire, can reshape natural flames (but not extinguish them) and communicate through fire. She also knows how to make some magical runes (for melee weapons and armour she crafts) that provide some extra protection against magical fire.

Notable Flaws:
-Being half-devil, she is weak to holy magic, runes, weaponry (ect). Holy water alone causes slight burning to the skin.
-As she refuses to use the majority of her Succubus abilities, she has cut herself off from the potential power they bring.
-Is missing her left eye, leaving her a literal blind spot in combat.
-Putting innocent people in danger is a good way to manipulate her.

-A greatsword (engraved with symbols that make it able to absorb/withstand the Hellfire)

Personality:
Aramis is, in simple terms, an overly confident French man who doesn't know how to keep himself from instigating conflict. This obviously puts him in loads of potentially dangerous situations. He's a sarcastic bastard who responds to most stimulus with the most dickhead-ish response, even in the life-threatening situations this puts him in.

Notable skills:
Aramis doesn't officially know any practiced fighting styles, instead taking bits and pieces of what he knows is possible and has seen before, whether it be from media or past fights he's been in. Also, Aramis has a phenomenal muscle memory, so his reflexes relating to fighting and shooting are greatly boosted


Abilities: Cybernetics

Cybernetic Arms:
These arms were bought and paid for in favors for someone Aramis knows. Hastily but professionally put together, these arms are capable of withstanding any blunt/bladed trauma, along with small arms fire. The upgrades these arms have are centered more around mobility than the strength upgrades of most military-grade cybernetics. Built with double jointed elbows, gyroscopes in each shoulder, and capable of a grip strength of 200lbs/90.71kg (current world record of 113.31lbs/51.4kg for comparison.) According to their creator, the arms are a marvel of non-military cybermetic design.

Cybernetic Eye (left): Because of Aramis' choice weapon of execution on his bounties, a sniper rifle, he decided that he wanted to upgrade his eye as well as other aspects of his body. Fitted with location, facial recognition, and the choice of thermal vision (red and blue instead of black and white,) the eye is capable of many things that are unrelated to their original function. For their intended function however, the eye is capable of acting as a range-finder, can measure wind speed and direction, and can be paired with Aramis' cybernetic arms to essentially create an automatic turret fitted with a bolt action sniper rifle.

Cybernetic Legs: Following the design of his arms, Aramis once again decided on mobility over brute power and strength. Instead of the TLS system fitted into military grade cybernetics, these were instead fitted with a slightly weaker version. Aramis is capable of jumping 30ft forwards or upwards, can break a fall of at most 40 feet with no damage to the user or cybernetics, a magnetic grip system in the soles of each foot for scaling metallic structures, and also a drill system in the same place for a slower, quieter approach on non-metallic surfaces.

Notable flaws: As stated, Aramis' cybernetics were installed hastily. Because of this, random moments of spasms are possible, yet rare.

This advanced sniper rifle is a railgun variation of the classic Barrett M82, .50 caliber sniper rifle used in the early 2000s. This variation is much more powerful than its predecessor, with an effective range of 4,000 yards/3,660m, a muzzle velocity of 2,799 ft/s (853 m/s), and the standard .50 caliber round to boot.

Aramis' sidearm is a standard G18 glock, fitted with a lighter barrel with holes in it in order to lessen recoil. Also, the glock is fitted with a lighter trigger for faster trigger-pull speeds, and an extended 20(+1) magazine. As icing on the cake, Aramis carries a RONI conversion kit, allowing for the sidearm to become a submachine-gun primary in relatively fast speeds
