Or when they tag it as such and the plots are all different scenarios in the same genre. "Multiple Settings" doesn't mean multiple plots. When the thread is marked as "multiple settings" and has many tags that attract your interest, but upon clicking you realize that they are all fandom pairings with a small note at the bottom that they're "potentially interested in other ideas".
Stop doing this! Just mark your thread as Fandom. (also applies to the other tags as well, but I mostly see it with Fandom)
There's a joke here that I can make. You see it and I see it. But I can't figure it out.I'm not a fan of fandoms so pretty much anything, be it in the title or tag, that is fandom related I skip entirely.
Well doesn't that just suck? There's a joke here that I can make. You see it and I see it. But I can't figure it out.
There it is again. "Fan of Fandoms." And I still can't figure out how to properly make the joke.I'm not a fan of Fandoms either apperently.

Don't force it.There it is again. "Fan of Fandoms." And I still can't figure out how to properly make the joke.
Ehh, I personally don't see it that way. Maybe it's because I've been in or are currently in group roleplays with some people who post here, but I think it's a pretty mixed basket around here. This isn't a complain, challenge, or argument, it's just a comment but has anybody noticed how the Roleplay Discussion subforum seems to consist entirely of 1x1 Roleplayers.
At least, that's how it seems from my point of view.
they probably dominate the site's population in general, although I can't back that upThis isn't a complain, challenge, or argument, it's just a comment but has anybody noticed how the Roleplay Discussion subforum seems to consist entirely of 1x1 Roleplayers.

most of the time, it not literally that overwhelming when it comes to the rules. But as serenity has said, certain things do make it off putting. Especially coming from an rp that doesn't focus much on post count. Might be the fact that I was able to fit in with the group in question. But yeah, post count and the whole stuff with this definition of "literacy" that exists in rp's. Not every interaction in an RP requires that sort of limit, if anything I would have no issues if they simply wanted more of a general "type down what is appropriate." sort of recommendation, type down what seems appropriate to a given situation and avoid having to use fluff in your posts. But I can understand why people have adapted that word as a way to regulate post count. Most aren't exactly making a novel out of an RP and are simply doing it as a past time. Might just be my own biases. When the person has 50000 rules and the general tone of their interest check is.. off putting lol
I can relate to the apps that go over gender. It's not exactly something that I think about often, not to say that I wouldn't consider exploring the topic of romance in some way. It's not my cup of joe.-Requirements about the player's gender...whaaaaat?!
-Non-Fandoms...yeah...I get into things and wanna walk around in that world. I also like knowing the "rules" of the universe going in. I know how things work in Star Trek, unless we're going to spend a lot of time on world building, I do not know how things work in our original spaceship and exploration story. That kind of freedom actually stresses me out, man
Yes. I, Laix_lake, am a fan of fandoms. Or would it be a fan of Crossovers? There it is again. "Fan of Fandoms." And I still can't figure out how to properly make the joke.
basically any 1x1 search that lists "i'm interested in rping a/b/o, incest, dom/sub, large age gaps" etc etc.
first of all, fucking ew. people can like what they want yadda yadda yadda but i'll still judge sketchy interests like that from afar.
second of all, i don't get why people use sexual terms like that for rps when erotic rping isn't even allowed. yikes.
I feel ignored now. lol...has anybody noticed how the Roleplay Discussion subforum seems to consist entirely of 1x1 Roleplayers.

I feel like I chide in a lot in the non-RP section of this site, and I'm avidly NOT a 1x1 RPer. j/s ;-)
Also, how is it that you can tell what the members participate in just by their comments?
