Scarlet

He didn't know where her classes were, but that hardly mattered to Scarlet. Everyone was lost, someway somehow. She'd find her way around one way or another. "That's okay. Just help me get to Bio and I won't be mad." That was a joke. Did he know that was a joke? Crap, well it wasn't a good joke if there's doubt. "Not actually mad, that was just--." Scarlet stopped herself and rolled her hazel eyes at herself. She was being awkward, again. "A joke." She smiled up at him shyly. He was so tall.

"The boardwalk?" She didn't even know there was one here. Scarlet paused. She'd never seen the ocean before, being holed up in a land-locked state for all her 17 years. Even when she had spent time at her grandmother's. "I haven't, but that sounds fun. I've never left Illinois. I actually just moved here yesterday," She admitted.

He wanted to surf, and she though that was brave; the ocean seemed far too scary for her. "That's awesome, though. Mads the Merman, I dig it." Scar gave a gentle laugh at the thought, eyes twinkling in amusement.

"Its's really not that bad here. Great people for the most part" She thought about Alaska's locker, most was an understatement. She could see that Charlie wasn't impressed by the school, which wasn't shocking considering the lifestyle she lived in New York. "Honestly Char, its just a ton of drama" She stepped back and leaned against the class room door, watching Charlie's hand fall from her shoulder.

"This isn't the place for us to talk about it at least." She tucked her hair behind her ear. "But.. Those shoes are so cute. Where did you get them?" Trying to change the topic off of her, and back on to her. Usually trying to talk about her was enough of a distraction

"Oh these. Mother bought them while she was in milan at one of her fashion shows." She said looking down to her heels. They were so beautiful. She was probably only gonna wear them a couple of times, but they looked cute with what she was wearing. "It's alright Cart. We can talk later about that." She looked around once more. Carter had said that it was mostly the people that went to the high school that made it better. She looked around at the faces of all the people. No one really stood out to her. The guys here weren't really that good looking. The girls didn't really stand out either. "Well maybe you could introduce me to some of these people you talk so highly of?" She asked.

Ryan had woken up at his garage as he left Hajar the night before. They spent the weekend together, but they had school the next day. He didn't even pay attention to the road as he drove in to school. He pulled into his spot. He noticed the red convertable that was parked out front. "Damn is the principle riding in style now?" He asked himself as he made his way inside. He looked at the faces of the school. It was the same faces he spent the last 12 years with. He sighed. He made his way to his locker and put his stuff up. After he just walked around wasting time.

Adriane

She'd never planned on returning to Westbrook, or even returning to public school. However, Adriane had failed a grade in her home school, which was just plain embarrassing, and then she decided that it was simply too lonely staying at home all day long with nothing to do. She missed the chaos of school, the chaos of drama, of flirting, of parties. God, how she missed attending parties.

Adriane had yet to really inform anyone that she was even back -- of course, no one would have really cared, and Adriane doubted many of them would remember her. She had originally left when she had become, well, pregnant at the ripe age of sixteen, and had thus left Westbrook as a junior, back when Mason had been nothing but a sophomore. She was curious to see what had happened with him, and how he had aged. He would be, what, seventeen at this point? Way sexier than the fifteen-year-old lovestruck puppy that she had left behind so long ago, or so she hoped. Coming for Mason had been... well, one of her reasonings.

Now, she was walking around the school, quietly reminding herself of where everything was. Adriane paused here and there, smiling at places that she recognized, remembering the things that had happened. The supply closet where she'd lost her virginity, her first locker where she had sold drugs out of for a little extra cash. Ah, good times.

Along her way, she caught sight of another redhead scrubbing at a locker with a couple boys who had to be younger than her -- probably freshman. Now this was a girl after her own heart -- the kind that could get the freshman to do what she wanted, preferably by flaunting a little bit. She smiled and walked over, leaning against the locker next to the one that they were scrubbing. Most of the lettering was gone or faded, but it was easy to tell it said slut.

"Wow, slut shaming is still a thing. What a surprise." Adriane said, rolling her eyes as she looked away from the locker to the two boys, and then to the redhead. She was... cute. Not in a sexy kind of way where people would be beating down her door, but in a pure kind of a way. What a waste. "Are you the slut on this locker?"

He was grinning, and it felt like ear to ear. "No, no I understood" He smirked at her joking around, and started laughing at Merman Mads. "Oh gosh, you're the only one who can call me that okay?" He was out of breath even though it wasn't that funny. "I totally never being around a beach, me and my sister are from Morrisville North Carolina. Beautiful, but quite a few hours to any beaches."

"We're going to have to make a trip to the boardwalk. Soon." He realized how forward he sounded, and started to stutter. "I-I mean only if you want to." He was always so confident, even with girls, but Scar did something to him. He found himself speechless around her. Worrying about everything he was saying.

Jude had the left the party almost as soon as he had arrived. Watching teenagers around his age getting drunk and falling unconscious was a bit nerve-racking, after all. After he had arrived home, he almost immediately fell asleep after crashing on his bed covers. He was tired. Real tired. So he slowly drifted off to sleep, the world around him spinning to an endless cycle, but everything suddenly faded to black.

* * *

Monday was his first day of school. The alarm clock rang in his ears, as the piercing noise woke the boy from his slumber. Groaning, he paused the alarm, and slowly got up from his bed, rubbing the back of his neck. Guess it's another day of school. At least he's closer to going to college and ditching these teenagers. Seriously, how did they even get their hands on beer, since they were underage?

Yawning, he slowly but surely stepped out of his bed, and made it, before he went over to the restroom to wash up. He splashed the cold water on his delicate skin, wincing at the temperature. After brushing his teeth, he grimaced again, rubbed his forehead. his forehead was still sore since the day of the party, and sneaking off resulted in getting shoved in a wall. He then slowly stripped, and stepped inside the tub, since he wanted to take a shower before going over to school. It was early in the morning, anyways. And his father had went off to work. His warm toes touched the cold marble, causing Jude to shiver.

After the shower, Jude had wrapped himself in a clean, white towel that smelled like roses and stepped outside the restroom. He pulled out a blue turtleneck sweater, and decided to just wear that. He then wore some jeans, and some sneakers to top off the look.

He limped over to his mirror, and carefully brushed his hair, his arm aching. When he was done, he quickly limped down the stairs, the creaking noise filling his ears. He then turned the doorknob of the door, and left his home, his legs shaking in his sneakers as he walked over to his high school. His stomach was filled with butterflies and he was completely nervous.

* * *

Jude had arrived at school, her sneakers squeaking against the shiny clean floors. Nervously looking around, he felt a bit relieved to have left his own home. Remembering he had a locker, he slowly walked around the hallways, watching everything around him. He saw a homosexual couple making out nearby, making him wince and immediately look away before walking again.

He reached a wall that was filled with lockers, and sighed, noticing his locker number. When he slowly walked over, he saw a locker nearby with the word "SLUT" written all over it in bright red sharpie in big, block letters. A wash of pity and sympathy washed over Jude as he watched a couple of friends to clean off the letters and scream in anger and comfort their friend. Wishing he could help in some way, his fingers curled against the metal of his lock, his blue eyes wide as he stared over.

His hands went numb, and before he even realized what he was doing, he had already walked over to the redhead that was scrubbing the mess, another redhead who had walked over, and a couple of other boys. "H-Hello? Do you.. need any help scrubbing this off?" he asked in a timid voice. He had always helped people, even if it was the cause of his doom.

Sawyer
Sawyer frowned when Grace pulled away from her. Stupid. Stupid. She had no idea why she was so mad. This one little thing had made her so furious she got mad at her girlfriend of all people, who was only trying to help in the first place. Sawyer opened her mouth to apologize again when Grace said something about her calming down and left the room. She called after her, trying to grab her before she left but it was no use. Once the door settled to a close Sawyer let out a disgruntled sigh and kicked at the leg of a desk. This wasn't even that big of a deal and she'd just gone and knocked a girl out because of it. Grace was right. Of course she was. Grace was right the majority of the time she told Sawyer anything. Sawyer had always had problems with keeping her anger in check. Ever since she was little it always flared up like a forest fire that was always hard to put out.

Sawyer ran a hand down her face, all anger faded away. She needed to fix this. Fast. First and foremost, she wanted to make sure Alaska was okay. Sawyer didn't think it was a very good idea to go after Grace right now. She'd give Grace space for now. Alaska was priority number one. Sawyer probably should've gone to Alaska in the first place instead of going straight to punching the culprit, but it was too late for that now. Her search was seeming to be a bit futile after looking around for a little while but some sort of saving grace helped her to spot Alaska through a the window on a classroom door. When she pushed the door opened she noticed Drake was also in Alaska's presence. Oh. She was probably interrupting something.

"Uh, hey, sorry if I'm interrupting." Sawyer stepped fully into the classroom and let the door shut behind her, "But, I wanted to make sure you were okay." She directed at Alaska, rubbing the back of her neck, "Ryder and I found out who did it. Lexi's back, it was her." Sawyer hesitated before saying her next word, "I may or may not have knocked her out."

"I will.. At lunch." She looked at the door she had been guarding. It looked like they had made up. "Do you need help finding your first class? Or do you need to talk to Principal Nona?" Carter loved her cousin, she really wanted to catch up with her and explain what was going on, but it wasn't the time.

She saw a familiar red head, no way.. It couldn't be.. She pushed herself off the door. "Charlie... I have to go take care of something." Furrowing her eyebrows she made her way closer to June and the other red head. She hoped to god she was seeing things.

She watched Casper then tried it with another marker she grabbed, handing one to Stu as well. She turned back to the locker, wiping her eyes before trying it out. It worked pretty well. But she didn’t want to write the word again so she decided to color in a small section then wash it. At least this made her feel extremely better. Granted, anything was better than trying to talk to an upset Mason. She scrubbed and heard someone else. She looked over to see a boy, was he at the party? Why does she remember him. Regardless she was quick to greet him. “Of course. Here.” She reached into the bucket and gave her a rag as well. “Try your best. It’s pretty stubborn.”

When she got back to scrubbing she saw someone else appear from the corner of her eye. Who else could this possibly be? She turned and immediately frowned. She had never seen this chick before and she had a face that screamed to be noticed. Who was she? And whoever she was, she was not making the best first impression. “No, I’m not. Just someone trying to help out. Do you want to help too instead of just standing there?” She’ll admit, her tone was slightly sharp. Probably because she instantly assumed June was a slut. But she was rather snappy today, so it was anyone’s guess.

Jace didn't regret leaving the party early. He had at the time, having wanted to spend just a bit more time around Raven and her friends before they got too drunk. Unfortunately however it wasn't to be. Before he'd had much of a chance to to accept their invitation of socialization, the group was torn apart by a variety of factors. The fighty girl was dragged off with her date, sucked into a drinking game by the fiery Carter. Meanwhile Raven's attention was pulled away by something else in the crowd, causing her to vanish as she pursued whoever it was. Jace was left all alone in the crowded room. He'd considered joining the game forming in the living room, always tempted by the prospect of having a little fun, but he wasn't really keen on the drinking part of the drinking game. Knowing some of the people who were getting involved, they'd surely have tried to drag him down with the rest of them. In all honesty he didn't really want to have his first hangover be the day after homecoming. In all honesty he didn't really want to have his first hangover.

So he left after only a few minutes of searching in vain for someone to keep him occupied, searching for something to do. The cheery boy fancied himself just vanishing into the night. Slipping into, then away from, the crowd before disappearing. He reckoned it probably wasn't far from the truth. It wasn't like anyone was counting on him to be there, nor would he really be missed. Even though Ash had tried to convince him to show up, she probably wouldn't think twice about his absence. If it occurred to her at all.

Jace couldn't figure out whether or not he liked how easily he could fade in and out of someone's notice.

Perhaps it was a good thing though, judging by the Twitter feed he woke up to the next morning. Just what had he missed? Jace, unlike most of his contemporaries, had no difficulty getting out of bed. With the same energy he always had he went about getting ready for his day at school, taking a brief shower before pulling on his outfit for the day. Or at least the first half of his outfit. A more casual(-ish) black collared shirt as compared to last night's attire, alongside a much more comfortable pair of dark blue jeans. Jeans really were much better than dress pants. Maybe he could get away with wearing black jeans to prom? Thus dressed, he turned his attention to food, dropping a couple pieces of bread into the toaster before going back to getting ready. A little impatient and with nothing else to fill his time, he sped up the drying of his golden hair with the aid of a hapless towel. Trying to get the water drenched strands to the point where they were wavy enough to do something with. Of course he then proceeded to do almost nothing with them, just running his slender fingers through his hair a few times until it was good enough.

Whether he was satisfied with his hair or not, his toast was done. The metallic sound announcing breakfast echoed through his parents' empty house all the way up to his bathroom. Without delay Jace started heading back downstairs, grabbing a blazer from his room on the way. One that would probably go decent with his shirt. He slipped it on before extracting his food and deftly spreading butter over it. Butter and sweet, sweet strawberry jam. There was still a fair bit of time before the bus would hit his bus stop, so he decided to start up a game while he ate. A relatively simple(-ish) game on his computer. He wasn't able to accomplish anything meaningful on it in the thirty or so minutes he had, but he could at least make a little bit of progress. Get the ball rolling until his next little bout of free time.

When it came time to catch the bus, Jace reluctantly tore himself away from the game. He closed his laptop, slid it cleanly into his backpack, then slung it over his shoulder. The one last thing before he breezed out of his house was to snatch the pair of burgundy dress gloves he always wore. Those and his tennis shoes, a relief on his feet after the night of stiff dress shoes. He took whichever empty seat was closest to the front, plopping down and settling in for the ride to school.

Ordinarily this part of his day tended to be fairly boring. His fellow class mates were always too tired to provide any real entertainment, so he often wound up impatiently tapping his foot while he waited to get to school. Today, however, was different. The moving hallway was awash with the buzz of gossip. At first Jace was a little confused. Hearing about Mason sleeping with someone new wasn't really a surprise anymore, it seemed like he was always in bed with a different girl. The girl's name took a few moments to click though. Alaska? Hadn't she gone to the homecoming with-

Suddenly Drake's tweet from the night before made a lot more sense. Mason was his brother, Alaska was presumably his date.

Jace sighed, turning his icy blue eyes back towards the window to watch the sunrise. He definitely didn't regret leaving the party early now. Sticking around with Raven and her friends would've only condemned him to get caught up in all the drama. That probably would've been obnoxious. Whatever, he'd just have to dodge all of that and find someone else to hang out with until it all died down. No sense getting himself dragged into it. It was kind of disappointing though, he'd been looking forward to spending a little more time with Raven...

Once at school, Jace headed straight for his locker, intending to avoid the early morning aftermath. He'd just show up to class early and entertain himself on his computer until it started. After all, he was keen to make a little more progress in his game. It had been a while since he'd last played, and he was eager to accomplish more than he had last time. However the drama decided it was going to get in his way that morning.

After a brief visit to his locker, Jace began heading for his first class, his long legs carrying him swiftly down the hall. Something stopped him on the way, however. His hand clenched into a fist around the strap of his bag as he saw it. The word 'slut' carved onto someone's locker in blood red marker. Was this Alaska's locker? It reminded him of when Ash was the target of words like that. An unpleasant spike of anger shot through him, the boy reliving some less than positive thoughts that had gone through his head back then.

He couldn't stand the sight of it. Normally drama was kind of interesting to watch, but this sort of thing struck a less than savory chord with him. Jace left the scene as swiftly as he'd arrived, trying to shake off the heavy atmosphere that had just been forcibly brought to his attention. His piercing blue eyes had an icy irritation to them as they stared straight ahead, betraying his emotions even as he kept a well practiced poker face. Just get to class Jace. Play your game, let it blow over, and slide back in when the storm's gone.

Charolette had frowned a little when Carter said that she needed to go. "How hard could it be to find my way around the school...Au revior Darling." She said waving good bye to her cousin. She walked down the hallway again pushing people out of her way. There were so many people. There was yet another problem with public schools. It was so crowded here, in private school there were only the kids that were accepted and the staff. She eventually found her locker and put her stuff away. With her things put up and her bag put away, she continue to walked around almost like a lost puppy.

Ryan was trying to find something to do. He continued to walk around. He didn't even notice Raven. He had bumped into her. "Oh sorry about that Raven. I didn't even notice you." He said running his hand through his hair. "How've you been?" He asked. He hadn't seen her for a little bit. "How was homecoming?" He hadn't even gone to homecoming so he didn't know anything about what happened. He was to enthralled with he was doing to pay attention to homecoming.

~ Hajar Giles ~

The weekend flew by so quickly, every moment of it was spent with Ryan and Jury, they didn't do any jobs or crazy like that, it was just normal couples stuff and she loved. Monday rolled around and Hajar was back in her routine being up early in the morning, running, and boxing. She spent an hour or so in the morning talking with Paul about what had happened in the club and setting up some new meetings for her to get her hands into. She got another invitation to another party but it wasn't for a couple of weeks, she was happy about that, she didn't need another split lip again. Her lip was still healing and the skin on her throat was still bruised and tender but it was slowly going away. She wandered into the the school slowly, stalking down the halls with her eyes scrolling through the crowds.

The party was a mess, start to end with a near fight and that's what ended it all, only the cops hadn't be called and that was nice. He took those two kids, the one who had called him pretty along with his brother. Monday rolled around slowly, the weekend was empty so he spent time with Annabel Lee or Rae, but mostly just working on his little fashion drawings. They were all coming out so well and he was proud. "You..." Phoenix laughed when Rae came dancing into the theater, "I think I'm rubbing off on you, you're so crazy now instead a meek angry little minx. What's got you in such a good mood?"

Adriane

Snarky. In Adriane's professional opinion, June probably needed to get laid or even just reach a few bases with a guy and she would be a lot less uptight -- what a pity. "Yeah, no. I'm obviously too pretty to do those kinds of things," she said, smirking at June as she looked back towards the boys helping her. "Plus why would I help when you have all these cute boys helping you." She smiled towards the freshman one last time before she sighed, leaning her head against the locker.

"You know you'd be a lot more attractive if you'd just lose the bitchy attitude." Adriane said, smiling sweetly as she turned her attention back to June. Well, it was true, and Adriane had quickly decided that there was no way she could take this little redheaded bitch under her wing and teach her how to rule a school. She was a lost cause. "No one wants to fuck a girl acting like an uptight bitch." And with that, she turned her attention away to look at the people in the hallway.

It didn't take long for eyes to settle on another girl, although she didn't remember her with red hair. Adriane couldn't quite place the name, but it had definitely been that girl who had always followed Mason around when she had first met him. How great to see that she was still here. "Oh. Carmen, right?" She said, smirking at the girl as she came over.

Casper Ollila

Casper looked up as the girl came back over, eyes wide as he worried if she had realized Casper was snooping. It took him a second to process what she had said as he looked down at the marker, slowly taking it from her.

“Okay,” he said quietly. For a second, he just looked at the marker in his hand, nibbling at his lip as he asked himself what he should do next. He glanced to June again, then down at the marker again.

Grasping for words, eyebrow furrowing up, he asked, “Are you…” He trailed off, trying to find the words he needed, eyes darting across the marker before finally pushing out, “okay?”

Then someone spoke up, so obviously Casper had to look up, eyes widening because wow, that is. A pretty person. He stared for a second before glancing down, uncapping his marker and marking up the word he was working on before scrubbing at it. Another person came over, but he didn’t dare look up as she spoke, just listening to June’s response and wincing a bit at her tone.

The other girl’s response was enough to make Casper curl up further, focusing more on his scrubbing as he listened in.

Raven's mind wasn't all there at the moment, she was just focusing on the floor beneath her. Attempting to get her mind off of the confrontation she had with Shiloh earlier, it was so stupid.. why did he want to leave? If he left.. he left. Raven couldn't stop him from doing so, but she hoped he didn't leave because of her. Sighing heavily, surprised when she bumped into someone. Pulling back and realizing it was Ryan. "It's.. fine." She shrugged.

Raising her eyebrows when he asked how she was. Oh. Yeah. Totally great. "Oh, y'know i'm good." Raven nodded biting her lip. "Homecoming was.. fun" Unwilling to talk about her homecoming night or how she was, which Raven was desperately trying not to think about neither. "I didn't see you there, you missed out. I looked amazing." She told him with a grin, slowly coming back to herself. "Have you talked to Sawyer? She won homecoming king, Grace did too." Raven didn't know why this conversation between the two felt so awkward.

“Where have you been, huh? I’m missing my partner.” Raven gave him a small smile.

'Oh you've got to be fucking kidding me' Her first thought to run through her mind, this was exactly who she had feared it was. "Wow, long time no see, Annabelle, right?" She snarled she knew that Adriane knew her name, Adriane knew that Carter knew her name. Neither of them had ever gotten along. "Why are you here. Feel like screwing up Mason life again? Run out of fresh dick from where ever you moved to" She took a step towards her, she wasn't going to be scared of her this time. Mason sort of had gotten his life together finally after she had left, minus last nights fiasco. Either way, he didn't need this right now.

"Or maybe you finally realized that what a shitty mom you were for ditching Ari. Doubt she would even know who you were at this point." She was attempting to seem as chill as Adriane did. But every part of her wanted to wrap her hand through her red hair, and throw her to the ground.

But she knew how Mason would feel if she did, for whatever reason, he thought Adriane was his one true love. She really hoped that he wasn't about to run back into her arms and forget everything that had happened. And most importantly, forget Carter again.

"Yea well boys will do that to you" She was so smitten after meeting Chase this weekend. "He's so protective over his sister, and he was carrying my books to class" And then she remembered that he winked at her when he left her. "And he winked at me and ugh" She took a deep breath "I know, its all lame and stupid, and nothing. But as you know, he was texting me all weekend." She sat up in her chair and rested her hands in between her legs."I wish I was better at this whole flirting thing though. I can't stop smiling, and I turn so red" She sighed, she barely knew him. Maybe he was like this with all the girls.

Ryan could see that something was wrong with her, but it didn't look like she wanted to talk about it. He chuckled light. "Well let's just say I found another type of partner..." He said leading on."I found this girl, well more like bumped into her. But we kinda bonded than we kinda just hit it off." He said looking at her. "We hung out for a while then we did some stuff." His smile grew more devilish. "But I wouldn't doubt that my partner was one of the best looking person there." He said lightly tapping her shoulder. When she talked about Sawyer being crowned. "Damn I didn't know that. I should have talked with her." He said with a smile. "So, is there any juicy scoops? Anything crazy at homecoming that is gonna come out during the next week? I have the hockey game but that's about it."

"Ooooooh.." Phoenix grinned and dropped down into the chair beside her, "Gush gush gush, I need to know all about him so I can approve of him." He wrapped an arm around her shoulder, giving her a squeeze. "I guess I need to figure out what you're worth... A few chickens? Five cows maybe?" He laughed softly. "After you're done gushing about this handsome man you've been talking to, I have something to tell you." Phoenix leaned in close to her ear, "It's a super secret right now, I haven't even told my mom yet." His baby blue eyes were dark with seriousness and he had a little frown, an expression that made his pretty face a little ugly looking.

“Right.” She said immediately to her being too pretty to at least help. She rolled her eyes and went back to cleaning. The S had pretty much disappeared now, thankfully. Then she stopped as she realized what she was saying. She glanced over. Who the hell is this crazy bitch? She thought to herself, but she turned her eyes back to the locker. Her grip tightening around the scrubber. “Totally noted.” Was she said. She dealt with stuff like this, yes, she really hated her. But, that wasn’t going to change the writing on this locker.

She wanted to be strong, until she heard a a voice behind her. She tended up when she looked and saw Carter. God, she tries to help and the world repays her with more horrible mishaps. She did listen to the conversation however, then she immediately whipped her head around when she realized who she was. “No way.” This slipped out without meaning to. “You’re Adriane?” She didn’t mean to butt in, but she couldn’t resist. Did that explain her approach. Did she already know June? The thought sent shivers up her spine. This was Adriane. It’s official. The world wanted her to suffer.

A sob escaped her lips as Drake folded into her, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head against his shoulder. It was such a relief to hear him say he wasn't mad at her, a heavy weight lifted off her chest immediately. She had fucked up so many things in one night, after ruining her relationship with Ryder and Kanen leaving she couldn't loose Drake too. Drake was truly the best thing to ever happen to her, she didn't deserve such an amazing best friend.

"I love you so much, can we please never fight again?" She laughed through the tears, happy to have her best friend back. Making up with Drake made her feel like maybe she could make it through the day, no matter how much shittier it seemed to be getting. As long as she had her best friend no body else mattered. They could say whatever they wanted about her, she'd survived this long with Drake as her only friend she could survive another year.

The brunette was ready to punch whoever had ruined their moment until she realized it was Sawyer, her tears turning into laughter as she told her what she'd done. "Have I ever told you that you're my favorite team mate?" Alaska giggled as she pictured the taller girl knocking out Lexi. Though the blonde was never the affectionate type, Alaska moved to bring her into their circle of love. Right now she didn't care what Sawyer wanted, she wanted a damn hug.

Eventually, she'd have to deal with Lexi herself, and probably go talk to Ryder about everything, but right now she was the closest to happy she'd been in a while in her friends' arms.

Ryder

Ryder's jaw dropped when Ash called him her boyfriend, wondering if it had only been meant to make Lexi jealous or if maybe she actually meant it. They'd been dating-but-not-dating for over a month now, but she'd always insisted that he wasn't her boyfriend to anyone who asked. He knew she was still guilty over Ryan, but it had been long enough now that people had definitely moved on to newer drama, which somehow still involved him.

"We're good to go, right?" He turned to Jamie, flashing him a grin before sliding out of the older man's grasp and taking Ash's hand so he could lead her away. Sawyer had done what he couldn't and he was grateful, he'd make sure to bake her cookies or...something. It was a relief to know that his sister had so many people looking out for her, maybe he wouldn't be getting into so many fights after all.

He waited until they'd walked away from the crowd that had gathered before he pulled Ash off to the side of the least crowded hallway. "Boyfriend, huh?" Seven in the morning might not have been the best time to have this talk, but he was impatient and he couldn't wait a full school day to know whether she'd meant it or not. Everything had gone to shit in such a short amount of time, either Ash would make his day or be the cherry on top of his shitty week.

Raven raised a brow at his words. "Oh shit, no kidding! Nice job Helmet." Smiling, Glad enough that the boy had gotten himself someone to care about, and more importantly someone to take care of him. She genuinely smiled at the compliment, but didn't say anything further on it. Ryan was sweet. Raven was truly happy that he found someone. He deserved to be happy, good for him.

She shook her head at the mention of newspaper. "Nah, not really." Raven left it at that, she wasn't interested in talking about it or the fact she wasn't writing at the moment. Fully knowing that he'd try to talk her back into it. "When can i meet your lady?" Raven chuckled.

The whole conversation, confrontation that Shiloh had with Raven was just... it was it. He felt a little bit better but not by much, he was a sad wet blanket that had been left out in the rain. So he just continued to work on his painting, eyeing every little detail with a hard look. "Ah fucker..." Shiloh had shoved his arm to the side and knocked a jar of paint across the table, staining the already messed up table even worse. A little dripped down on his jeans and shirt as he stood up, "Damn damn.. son of a bitch.." He spun around and flung the brush against sink, his blue eyes are flaming with frustration but then he realized he wasn't alone, there was a lovely brunette standing at the doorway, "Ah..shit.. uh sorry you had to witness that.." He muttered, wringing his hands together with a sigh.

"God no, no no no.." Phoenix shook his head rapidly, "I'll never get with him, I made you that promise and I won't break it. Pinkie promises are a solemn promise from me, I never break those I promise." He spoke softly, "But...Okay look at these." He grabbed his journal from his satchel, flipping through the pages. Each page was filled with a colorful drawing depicting different clothes and fashion styles. "So.. I'm about to start putting a portfolio and an application for this really prestigious fashion school in Dublin. They only accept a hundred or so students every year but... I might have a chance.." Phoenix sighed softly, looking over at here.

“That’s so exciting!! When do you find out?” She took the book from him and extremely carefully looked through all the pages. “These are amazing! I knew you had talent, but wow.” She then realized what this all actually meant. “Wait this means you’ll be leaving me.” She sighed, of course she was happy for her friend, but realistically she felt like she would be lost with out him. Even though he wouldn’t be in school with her next year either way, she just figured they’d still be around each other. That would be a lot harder with him in Dublin. “Dublin...” Her mood made a complete 180° at this news. What will I do without him

Ryan had nodded when she had giving him a compliment. "Yeah, she'd the best." He said before she brought up about meeting his lady. "Well, you see she's a little bit intimidating and a lot to handle." He said running and hand through his hair. "I could set something up, but she doesn't really like when she sees a girl get close to me. She's the jelious type." He said smiling at her. "I don't think people wouldn't mind if we found something to write." He said leaning against the wall. "Plus we need a good scoop. Something to really wow the people. I want another Mason type story where everyone will be shocked." He said.

Charolette had wandered around for a minute before finding her first class, art. She took the elective because it would give her a chance to draw and to unwind before her day actually began. Plus she could probably stroll in without having to worry about being marked late. She could make the excuse up on the spot. She slowly walked in to see a giant of a man standing infront of a painting. From what she could see it wasn't that bad. "It's fine darling, infact I think that painting is quiet lovely. Did you paint it?" She noticed the paint that was spilled and that he had some paint on him. It was kinda cute. "Where are my manners, I'm Charolette, Charolette Maybelle Harrison. It's my first day here, actually... and it looks like I found my first class." She said with a small chuckle. 'I wouldn't presume your the art teacher are you?" She asked.
