A Little Cloud
Writing a dozen stories
Alice Ester| Female | Senior (18)
Personality: Alice is the exact definition of a nerd. She could've chose a different path with her beauty, but no, she decided to study every single free second. Alice is also the introverted one. Always opting out for listening to the conversation rather than contributing, she’s learned quite some interesting things. Sometimes she uses the information to her advantage, warning people about upcoming danger that might involve them. But, like always, they ignore the poor girl.
Alice, unlike some, knows the silence, and embraces it kindly. You rarely find her mouth moving except when she’s eating or reading. Some people think that her silence makes Alice one to avoid, but all she really needs is a friend. But her silence and obsessiveness with certain things (U.S history, medicine, biology) makes that almost impossible.
But, if you manage to get her happy, she will care about you until you leave her. Alice is extremely protective of those that she loves, and will do anything to make them happy. She does tells good jokes, and gives good advice.
History: Alice’s parents lived the American Dream. They started out with almost nothing, then in half a year, they were socializing with the upper class. Alice grew up having everything that she wanted, and was originally a very spoiled girl. She grew up in Washington, and loved seeing wildlife in her backyard. She would spend hours sitting on the ground, observing and drawing anything that she found odd. Her love for biology blossomed.
When Alice was introduced to school, she didn’t pay much attention to it. She often spent more time whispering to her friends during class about her things, and her grades plummeted.
As a temporary solution, Alice’s parents sent her to a boarding school overseas in Britain. There, Alice had the worst time. She didn’t get everything that she wanted, and she had to study hard. The teachers punished her harshly for not paying attention, and Alice finally gave in to studying for the sake of not hearing the same lecture again, and again.
Suddenly, Alice’s life finally became easier. Her grades rose, and she became very interested in the topics that she learned. Instead of the teachers yelling at her, they congratulated the new star pupil. After a couple more years, Alice headed back to Washington. Instead of getting the warm welcome that she expected, her parents revealed to her that the family business was failing. Alice accepted the truth quickly, and the next month they moved to Westbrook.
Her parents were financially stable again, but Alice couldn’t get everything that she wanted anymore. But she didn’t care. Alice was more worried about her grades and fitting in. Right from the start she got bullied. Bullied about her clothes, hair, her accent, etc. She did her best to ignore it, and decided that it was better to stay silent than respond.
