Reza 'Ifrit' Renate
General

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Race: Mutant (Human), Elemental - Fire

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Home Region: Sector 9

Appearance

Height: 6'0" or 183cm (6'3" or 190cm in heels)

Weight: 160lbs or 73kg

Build: Slightly muscular/toned build

Persona

Ethics/Morals:
  • Believes in equality for all people. Mutant or not. They are all people with minds and feelings, what's the difference?
  • Survival of the fittest mentality - Those who are strong by themselves and but also alongside others will survive. Those who speak big but cower behind others to avoid confrontation (are all bark but no bite) are weak and won't last. However, Reza realises some cannot fight and only expect them to be mentally strong and do what they can to help those who can fight.
  • Sees those who use underhanded or immoral tactics or actions as deplorable beings and the true 'monsters' of the world.

Likes:
  • Those who are fair to everyone, including mutants. She respects people who judge a person on their personality, rather than their species or looks in general.
  • Those who hate the current authority. She likes to know she isn't alone in her opinions as she is otherwise by herself.
  • Fighting opponents who test her abilities. Whilst it is annoying to fight to survive. She likes to hone and improve her skills so any opponent that can help her do that is a good person to her.
  • People who are loyal and trustworthy are people she can also get behind. Reza sees it as many people are self-serving and deceitful so to find someone who is willing to tell the truth and will help those who need it without fail are rare and need the respect they give to others.

Dislikes:
  • Hates the concept of some being above others. Se thinks as long as everyone is present in the same universe, the same rules apply to all.
  • HATES being told what to do by any authority and will most definitely defy orders (and sound reasoning) in favour of doing what she feels is right and just.
  • Reza dislikes being locked up or restrained. It makes her feel weak and demotes her metal and emotional state to being feral, akin to a wild animal.

Personality:
  • Cynical - Reza was born a 'freak' so as a result has always been treated as such so believes there is only evil or bad within the RUA and, by extent, the world.
  • Hates the concept of some being above others. She thinks as long as everyone is present in the same universe, the same rules apply to all. Why does being a mutant mean immediate destruction or another horrible fate to suffer?
  • Has a special hatred for authority and will openly opposite when she can, though she won't just pick fights when she's level-headed.
  • Reza has great faith in her abilities but at times can become over-confident until she come across something/someone she cannot best.
  • She always fights for what she feels is correct and just regardless of whether anyone supports her nor not, especially concerning mutant rights.
  • Gets easily over-powered by her emotions. So much so that she becomes very destructive to others and herself. Her emotions also impede her personal judgement and have nearly resulted in her capture on several occasions.
History:
  • Born in Sector 9 in The Choke and living the majority of her life within the confines of the ruins of the area.
  • Reza's parents were not exactly great ones as they were quick to discard her once her mutation came to be known. She was left to live without them or their support.
  • Reza quickly learned skills in stealth, hand-to-hand combat and swordsmanship.
  • She got her first swords when she was 21 which were a pair of slightly curved blades (Example: Cinder Fall's blades - RWBY) which she learned to heat up slightly using her powers.
  • Has stolen from as many of the 'rich snobs' as she could throughout her life. She also has defaced many monuments and posters about any o the authority figures of the RUA, and at the forefront of this is the President of course.
  • She has become a fugitive from the moment she was reported and the subsequently spotted utilising her mutant powers.

Flynn Olver
General

Age: 26

Gender: Male

Race: Mutant, Animalistic

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Home Region: Oceania, within the gulf bordering Sector 9 and The Plains

Appearance

Height: 6’3 ( 6’6 when mutated)

Weight: 190lbs (210 when mutated)

Build: Toned, Tanned, and Muscular (Scaled, gilles, webbed hands and feet’s.)

Persona

Ethics/Morals:
When stripped of his well-built exterior of chivalry and charm, Flynn is a man who supports himself. Never having parents, and being raised by his boss taught him that to make you way in the world you’ve gotta do it yourself. But, if he ever found someone hat he cared for, they would be included.
He never would hurt a child, knowing the absolute wrong of that. But, he would never sacrifice himself for another person unless he truly seems nessicary.

Likes: The water or ocean, the outdoors, good company

Dislikes: The Government, Sector 9, his mutation

Personality:
Charming, handsome, talented, witty, seductive: Flynn knows that he is all these things and, as he would gladly tell you, so much more. He prides himself on his ability to make most anyone weak in the knees, and it's this effortless charm that has made him such a favorite of the Houston citizens. Anyone who has met Flynn in a party or social gathering or seen him on the docks would doubtlessly claim that he is always relaxed, always smiling, and an open book. Flynn is easy to get along with and can make conversation with almost anyone, though anyone who takes the time to know him beyond a surface level would discover that there is more depth there than he cares to let on.

History:
  • Flynn was born a fisherman’s son, his mother from Sector 9, dying during child birth. Originally hailing from the old Texas area, his father always held a mysterious grudge against the boy, blaming him for killing his wife. And so, he was sent away to apprentice with a family friend up north in the gulf, claiming it to be better fishing than the ocean.
  • Meeting the man he now calls Mo, Mo taught Flynn almost everything he knew. From tying a line, to swimming, even driving the boat. And as he grew, Mo began to grow old, teaching him of life instead of physical labors. But at the age of 17, Mo passed. The fishing business was written in his name to take over, and so he did.
  • One day upon the water, Flynn body grew rather itchy, and he felt constantly short of breath. Until finally, he couldn’t breath any more, causing him to fall off of his boat. But, when landing in the water, he suddenly felt normal again, able to breath clearly. Flynn remembered clearly running his hand alongside his neck, feeling large slits, or gills. Spooked out of his mind, he fratically swam away, afraid to reappear in Houston... But after an hour, it disappeared.
  • Nowandays, Flynn repeats the same cycle. Get up, eat, get the boat ready, eat while heading out, fish for 12 hours, eat while heading in, then sleeping. This life cycle has began to bore him, wishing for an adventure.

General

Age: 34*

Gender: male

Race: human

Sexual Orientation: straight

Home Region: the Capital

Appearance

Height: 5'8"

Weight: ~155 lbs

Build: average overall

Appearance: I couldn't find the right photo, thus the verbal description. Favri is a brown-haired male with some hispanic/white heritage. His eyes are hazel, appearing brown or golden depending on the light. He looks intelligent, with an ectomorph body. His skin is a light olive tone, his face shaded with light stubble around the jaw line. Thick, straight brow. Amusement is his most common facial expression.

Persona

Ethics/Morals: neutral good

Likes: precision, mathematical proofs, curing a patient, helping humanity

Dislikes: bumbling fools, ignorant maniacs, violence

Personality: Kind of a smart-@$$, and doesn't hold back in showing off. Although he has learned from past mistakes what not to say at what time.

History: His history is pretty vague. "Research... here and there." Clearly has a medical background.

WILDFYRE
General

Age: 22

Gender: female

Race: mutant with fire powers

Sexual Orientation: straight, we suspect

Home Region: Oceania

Appearance

Height: 5'4"

Weight: 130 lbs

Build: skinny

Persona

Ethics/Morals: gray

Likes: setting things on fire, warm things, bright color, being free to do as she likes

Dislikes: water, the cold, rainy days, large barking dogs, law enforcement

Personality: Although not particularly cruel or sadistic, Indigo has, for lack of a better explanation, a wack moral compass. Money-driven, she longs for the day when she can finally be free of the fishing village and be a person who has real power. A misguided youth, in need of a kindly mentor. For it is quite certain that there are many who wish to use her little-known ability for evil. Rarely does Indigo speak of her ability. Her alter ego, "Wildfyre" is more of a braggart, while Indigo prefers to stay out of the limelight. Indigo is actually a shy individual, who underneath her bravado, just wants love like any other human being.

History: Her life is actually quite interesting and dramatic, if you may not have guessed. She works as a contractor who uses her fiery abilities to quell, quench, burn, heat, and destroy. Whatever the job is, if the offer includes money or something she wants, she'll take it. The only ones she refuses to touch with her flames are children, who are seemingly her weak spot. Currently, she work for a fire-fighting agency, ironically enough. Her mutant ability give her power to control all type of flames. In the past she has worked for a metalsmith, two radical terrorists, and before all that, her father's fishing company. The girl still has connections there and visits on occasion.

Catherina Salazar
General

age: 25

race: Human, some suspect otherwise however, but they are wrong
sexual orientation: heterosexual
home region: The Capitol. currently operates in Sector 9
alignment: Chaotic Good, or is it Lawful Evil?

Appearance

hair colour: chestnut brown
eye colour: deep dark brown
height: 6'1"
weight: 126lbs
build: tall, toned, lithe
faceclaim: Zendaya

Persona

ethics/morals: Upon first impression, people usually come to the resolve that Cat has her head and heart in the right place, and she is someone likely to make the right choices. Cat likes to think this about herself too. She believes she has every good intention in everything she does, and truly, she does. But, she also knows, that she is making bad decisions. Those who know what Cat is up to already understand their terrible morals, as well as her own. It pains her. She is a very conflicted individual when it comes to what she is doing to the people she gets close to. But she has no choice. If Cat had a choice, she would pick any and everyone else over the corruption of the capitol, but she wants the safety of herself, and the safety of her parents, so she wil bare her trespasses.
likes: thunderstorms, lightning, looking ragged and covered in soot, but also being perfectly clean thanks to the capitol, getting paid, food, plants - always plants, climbing and jumping from roof to roof, fire escapes - they make her job easier, singing to the kids, William Blackwood, singing to herself late at night on random rooftops, crushing new materials to test her gauntlets, when her parents send her "lip gloss" [its an ointment she uses on her lips, face, pretty much anywhere she gets an injury, so that it heals faster], stargazing, sweets,
dislikes: smoking, drugs, alcohol - even if she still drinks it from time to time; she just doesnt like it in copious amounts, removing her gauntlets, seeing her hands, very few mutants, turning in mutants, when her parents praise her work through little e-cards but won't enter Sector 9, William Blackwood, when her right pinky stops working,
personality: Cat is an incredibly janus faced inividual, capable of a plethora of emotions. Generally, she is a pretty hopeful and positive person who upon first impression seem's like the kind of witty and sarcastic individual you would want as a friend if you caught in a row with a powerful enemy, or an angry official. She has a calm and collected demeanor about her that can change to a wringing of her hands behind her back in mere moments. Cat likes to see the good in the things happenning around her and the things she does, in order to feel a humanity and the slowly dehumanizing world she lives in. Cat is fierce, brave, fearless, and feircely passionate about all of her goals; almost all of them. Though she can be stubborn at times, she is naturally a very observant young woman, and a good actor and liar. When she is alone she is angry, and she cries. Not sad tears...angry tears. As she has grown, she has learnt not to dwell in belittling emotions as much as she really used to. It has made it easier for her to turn in mutants to the capitol. She is yet to not follow her orders.....Despite this however, she still has her demons, and a guilt that hangs over her, always.

Bio

- On May the 25th, Catherine Zari Salazar is born in the Capitol's finest hospital. A healthy young baby, she is cared for and loved by her parents Maxine and Archibald Salazar from there on out. She shows promising cacademic skills as she goes through school. She excells in her sports, and take up gymnastics competitively in The Capitol. Her life is set out soon enough, she strives to become a member of I.C.E by the time she is ten, and prides herself in impressing the government as humbly as she can manage. She has many friends, and no enemies. She is loved.
- When Catherine is seventeen she graduates from her school with excellent achiements under her belt. By now she has developed a particluar proclivity for climbing the buildings of The Capitol, and scaring her friends and family with daring photos and stunts. She has also developed a voice on the politics of The Capitol. As the amount of mutants in and away from the Capitol begin to rise, she agree's more and more with those vouching for their safety, making her resent her parents passion for hating them, more and more. She doesn't deny some of them are dangerous, and should be punished like any other criminal, but not "disposed of" like her parents say. Seventeen year old Catherine enters into her rebellious stage very late, and begins to wonder if she acts out against the politics of the Capitol, maybe they will kick her out; and she can get the hell away. But she still loves her parents, they have taken such good care of her. So, she takes it slowly, and within a couple of months she creates enemies out of her best friends, just for skipping out on their lunch dates to plot with her "mystery friends" beneath the city. She resents their stuck up nature.
- Flash forward two years and Catherine recieves a message from outside of the camp she is training in. She is one year into her preparation to join I.C.E when she is called out of it, so, at her first available chance, she flee's the compound for the cluttered city. She trusts the mutants she gives information to, she would do anything to make the presidents life hell. Only, anything is dangerous. The heist doesn't go as well as planned, and with no guilt in their hearts for Catherine's fate, the vigilante mutants leave her to suffer the consequences. Cat screamed for them to help her; and no help came. Now with bruised, battered, broken and scarred hands, the result of an emergency door slamming down on them. Cat is taken in by I.C.E.
- It doesn't take long for word to spread, and Maxine and Archibald are at the hospital soon after Cat arrives. She is handcuffed to her bed, but all that matters to them is their duaughter is alive. This is where they beg their friends to spare her and let her stay home. But, no-one, not even someone like Cat get's off that easily. The Capitol's technology coouldn''t restore her hands full capabilities, but it could offer an alternative.
- Catherine Salazar is shunned by plenty, and pittied by few when she is sentenced to ten unnecessary and brutal years of service in Sector 9. Unsure of what she will do with herself, she begs for something more. She wants any type of revenge, so, they grant it. In exchange for the security of her parents, and herself, she will instead serve five years of labour and at the end of her sentence she will serve I.C.E and The Capitol in their mission to eradicate the RUA of mutants. She will be their spy wherever they wanted her, a friend to the mutants until the time came when I.C.E moved in on them, and Cat was on to the next victim. She agree's to their terms, and they grant her her gauntlets in return. They are a plain dark metal, and at their best for the labour she is about to undertake.
- She works under the name Zari for five full years in Sector 9, and the name stays. She can't risk being recognised by someone with Capitol names. She works hard, and fast, and doesn't shy away from making friends allies in Sector 9. Her gauntlets draw little attention, and against her better judgment, she paints them permanently, and stops wearing her hair back. This is when begins growing a reputation. People notice her on the roof of their building and ask her for favors. She meets a few mutants in that time, and to her suprise, they are much kinder than what she expects, most of them at least. They have their own problems, their own regrets. They are as human she she is, and she soon regains her faith in them that she lost after her accident. But, she is still angry, so those she deems dangerous, they are who is is focusing on.
- Flash forward to the present day, Zari has been in Sector 9 for six years, has established a fair few relationships with it's inhabitants, scouted plenty for I.C.E already, and tipped them off about three mutants so far. She hasn't heard from them or Blackwood in a a couple days now, and goes about her days the same as always. She isn't close to anyone personally, and it has been that way, always. She remains a friendly face to everyone. Her parent's send her messages a few times a week, or not for weeks, it all depends. If William turns up its because they have sent her ointment. She likes recieving them, but she hates reading the notes with them, especially after a mutant has been taken in. Her gauntlets are beginning to look scratched up, and sometimes her left pinky shuts down and has no mobility, but she doesn't bother asking I.C.E for an upgrade. Cat doubts they would give her one anyways. A new mutant has caught her eye, and she has been watching him closely. Sometimes she see's him wandering the streets while she sings to the kids in one of the main "square's", but she doesn't dare approach. she just keeps a non-threatening smile. Her job keeps her well fed and in a nice small apartment made for two. She has no pets and no roommate. Her favourite pass time besides climbing is working out on the mats that substitute her couch in the afternoons, and, although she has lost all the advantages of a rich Capitol life, she wouldn't have it any other way.

Trivia/Inventory

hobbies:
- even though her job already consists of it - climbing endless buildings and fire escapes in her down time; she always ends up covered in more soot than usual
- singing old and new songs for the kids of Sector 9, who's parents wrong doings have seen them trapped in the foggy mess. She pity's them, so she likes to take the chance to entertain them during the day, if only to make herself feel a little better and the kids feel alot better.
- threatening to crush peoples skull's with her hands if they don't shut up, or alternatively, if they don't give her what they owe her [even though she doesn't think she could do it]
-
mannerisms/quirks:
- she has a bad habit of picking up random pieces of scrap or what not, and crushing it slowly in her hands. Usually it is very subconscious, so she always makes sure she is aware of herself and her gauntlets
- when she dislikes something her face very naturally scrunches up. most take this for an immediate disgust and dismissal, but most of the time this initial reaction is no indication of how much she ends up liking something. Someone has once told her it looks more like confusion.
- no matter what she is doing, she hates putting her hair back. she prefers to keep it out. her curly and wild hair characterises her, besides her gauntlets, and she likes the way people recogise her by it in Sector 9, and thankfully not in The Capitol; she always had it back, there.
"what are those? metal gloves?": no, they are the only piece of advanced [or not] technology that Cat refrains from calling stupid or useless. They give her frail hands untapped movement and allow her to climb heights, and punch others out with extreme prejudice. These gauntlets do not come off, and they do not like coming off. It is very possible for Cat to remove them, but she hardly does, in fear she made need them at any moment. There isn't much her real hands could do to protect her. Even when sleeping, she doesn't take them off. The gauntlets have a strength that reaches just over the threshold of her original strength to allow her to climb buildings like she used to, and swing herself all over the RUA with ease. An added bonus is her new found grip. She can crush a brick in her hand if she wants, but that's about the length of her strength. I.C.E would never risk giving her any more power than that. To remove the gauntlets, she has to speak a pass code; one that only she and one other so far, know. She never speaks it in public, or is yet to anyway.
disregard everything from the elbow, up. Her gauntlets only reach her elbows. They are identical on each side.
"what's in the bag?": The terracota coloured satchel she wears across her body can't hold an awful lot than what she really needs. That is, anything small that she needs to pass on [she carries the larger things or secures them to her back], a collapsible body bag, small electromagentic screwdriver [to get her pinky working again], her lip gloss,
"got any moves you can teach me?":
- as a result of her very rebellious life, Cat took to learning variations of close quarters combat as a young girl in The Capitol. Her parents didn't like it, nor her ambition to become a presidential guard/part of I.C.E, but that was besides the point. Since her short "imprisonment" and new release, she has once again taken to learning from those off of the streets to keep fresh in her mind her lessons from the government. She has even paid others.
"who are you, really?": that is something, she would never tell~ on purpose.

Sexual Orientation: heterosexual

Home Region: The Capitol

Appearance

Height: 5'1"

Weight: 115 lbs.

Build: Alyona has a petite figure that has never experienced any strenuous labor. It makes her look much younger than she is and often clashes with the things she says.

Persona

Ethics/Morals: Alyona is still a child and hasn't learned much about right or wrong. She has some understanding that hurting people physically is wrong and certain animals in some sense but that's about it. She knows that committing certain crimes will get her in trouble but instead of not doing them she simply makes sure she isn't caught. She has little respect for authority simply because she doesn't see them as having any power. If they could catch her in the act, then they'd have some level of control and therefore a reason to listen to them.

She doesn't possess loyalty simply because she's never had anyone to be loyal to. She isn't driven by power or money or anything of that sort either, she simply does whatever she feels inclined to do at that time and place.

Likes: Dogs & cats, video games, movies, puzzles, drugs, eating, using her abilities, leading

Dislikes: Boring individuals, romantic movies/music, not getting what she wants, ignorance

Personality: She is rather unempathetic, but she isn't cold and rude most of the time. She enjoys certain people but she mostly manipulates others to get what she wants. Having control over people and situations makes her feel good and so she does it often without even having to think about it. If that requires her to be kind, then that's exactly what she'll do. She is mostly apathetic in most situations but can easily put on a facade of any emotion required at the time. She doesn't get very aggressive unless a plan goes wrong and instead prefers to make calculated moves that may take a long time to get what she wants. She is extremely intelligent and enjoys solving problems and planning. Every move is concise and she takes pleasure in keeping things in place and organized.

She gets bored very fast and as a result, has found weird hobbies to keep her entertained. Most conversations bore her and she will often shut herself off.

History: Alyona was raised in the Capitol along with her older sibing and their parents. Both of them worked in the government and were both highly intelligent and cold. Alyona wasn't sure if that was how they displayed their affection but she soon grew indifferent to their lack of interest in their children. Her brother was a year older and was as charismatic as he was a troublemaker. His charm seeped out of him while Alyona remained quiet in the background and assessed everything around her with piercing eyes. Ayona preferred the company of animals to people since they didn't talk all the time and her parents bought her a cat to get her off their back.

Her powers soon began showing when she entered third grade. If her temper escalated the temperature would drop drastically and the area around the girl's hands would have a thick layer of frost. Alyona immediately realized what she was and kept it to herself. She was aware of what happened to mutants and wasn't sure of what her parents would do. Still, she saw her powers as a door to control. She started off with small crimes like pickpocketing that didn't even require powers but satisfied her when she was bored. When she was 12 and someone attempted stealing from her when she was on her way home from track practice she wasted no time encasing them in ice before they could so much as scream. It became her new interest and she set out to go after criminals. It wasn't about trying to be a superhero but instead getting to hurt people and not get punished because they were trying to hurt others. She realized she needed to keep her identity secret, however, and started covering her face in ice.

It was obvious the girl was a psychopath but her parents were never around enough to notice anything that wrong and neither was her brother who was too busy charming the pants of girls so they would do his homework and other things he was too lazy to do.

To this day, Alyona carries out her "heroic" acts under the name of Porcelain while dodging the blame for her frozen victims.

Personal

Ethics/Morals: Florence understands that his job isn't the best in terms of morality and ethics, But in regards to the pay he is quite content. He does what he needs to do in order to survive in these times. Has no personal qualms against mutants, but understand there's a job that needs to be done. And unfortunately, he is one of the many that have to do it. Though he draws the line at harming children.

Likes: Cashing in a hard weeks pay cheque, napping, silence, clocking out after a long or hard days work, has a hidden soft spot for children regardless of mutation or not.
Dislikes: long work hours, overly sweet foods, excessive violence, and talkative people.

Personality: Florence's co-workers would often describe him as a stick in the mud. He is often described as a having a dry sense of humor. He rarely talks when on the clock, grunting in lieu of actual words. He comes off as a rather blunt person preferring to state his opinions freely. He generally comes off as an unapproachable person to the people he works with. Florence is prone to following his instincts in regards to his work, often times disregarding orders, because his gut told him to. Though Florence can come off as a little obtuse and quite frequently states the obvious. He is motivated by benefits of his job. He frequently states that collecting his bi-weekly cheque is the what makes his job worth it.
