Some quick notes:

1. Each house initially has four bedrooms (including the master bedroom), a loft, a family room, dining room, and living room, a kitchen, and two and a half bathrooms (including master bath). Details are up to you (the houses could have been renovated at some point, a bedroom could be being used as an office, etc.), and with the backyard do whatever you want, whether that means a patio, a garden, a pool, or all three.

3. You can go buck wild with coding, but that doesn't affect whether or not you get in.

The Hintons

The Hintons have lived in the neighborhood since before Gemma was adopted as a baby. Consisting of Gemma’s fathers, widowed grandmother, divorced aunt, cat and dog, and her estranged cousin stuck with them every other weekend, it can be a lot. However, there’s a lot of love to be had, and they share it with their neighbors, even if sometimes they’d rather not. They keep their mean thoughts to themselves, inviting everyone to their block parties, unafraid to spread the wealth a bit. The biggest events to happen in this family have probably been adopting Gemma, Gramma coming to live with them, and most recently Auntie Jo staying while she picks herself back up.

She looks a decade younger than she really is, with natural silver hair, thin lips, and pudgy cheeks. She wears hearing aids, and her skin’s pretty good looking. She wears her hair in a poof around her head, with neat curls from her over the night curlers. She dresses in typical gramma style, with her comfy slippers and variously patterned loose dresses. Want a not-so-well-kept-secret? Floral patterns are her favorite.

Adam works very hard to come across as picture perfect, and it’s completely understandable that a good amount of people fall for it. However, this is a result of his anxiety, which can cause him to become overwhelmed more easily than normal and additionally push his work back to the last possible second. It also makes it extremely difficult for him to assert himself, or confront others when they wrong him. That’s one of those tasks he often leaves to Stu.

Stuart’s tall, and could probably look fairly imposing if he actually tried. Instead, he’s more of a gentle, if unconventional, giant. He likes to put on the occasional bit of makeup, and dyes his hair- even the shaved part of his undercut- and keeps it well maintained. On top of gauges and an industrial in one of his ears, he has snake bites, a couple nose piercings, and an eyebrow piercing. Style wise, he wears a lot of old band t-shirts, colorful bermuda shorts, and chokers. His eyes are a soft deep brown, and fairly almond-shaped. He’s white as fuck, and burns easily.

Where Adam can’t, Stuart can. Stu often ends up the family member to discuss- as kindly as he can- family misgivings. Of course, this often backfires, with him either saying the wrong thing, ending up on the other family’s side, or flat out forgetting to say anything. However, he’s still a good guy, likable enough with his charm and idealism. He enjoys helping out the other families in the neighborhood, even if he can’t always be counted on to keep promises.

Joanna's a tall woman, with a fairly well cared for face. She doesn't usually wear make up, confident in the way her brown eyes dominate her face, and her curly hair is often kept up and out of her face- great for when she's working. Style wise, she tends to wear plain shirts under open button ups that tend to remind one of tourists. She's almost always in well shaping shorts with the very ends rolled up. Birkenstocks are also a regular in terms of attire.

Joanna has problems with boundaries. She sees the lines, but in the heat of the moment, she can forget where they are- especially if she’s trying to get someone to join in on the fun. Add her general messiness and attempts to self destruct, and she can be a bit of a wild card. However, she’s still an open-minded person, and can be a lot of fun to be around when she isn’t trying to destroy her relationships and, ultimately, herself.

She tends to go for a fairly natural look with her makeup, though she's been known to go for shimmery lip glosses and winged eyeliner in the past, doing her best to make her brown eyes have a bit more flair. Her clothing style often consists of high tops, jean shorts of various lengths, and crop tops.

Gemma’s been opinionated since she was small, when her parents adopted her. Her negative traits made themself available almost immediately, though her friendliness was what immediately drew the pair to her. With their help, she began exploring creative endeavors early on, singing and dancing- even picking up visual art after a while. She’s always been allowed to express herself how she pleases, and it’s both a good and bad thing, as she’s hard to reign in now that she’s 16.

His eyes are a darker brown than his mother's, and his face is a bit of a pimply mess at the moment. Style-wise, he tends to wear jeans, graphic tees, and canvas shoes.

Though Alex is barely around, he’s certainly… memorable. His negative traits tend to show most clearly, though whether they’re a result of being around his mother is unclear. He doesn’t open up to others easily, and tends to be very conscious of… well, everything. How he sounds, how he presents, if people like him. He tends to assume the worst, and his clean to an extreme amount. However, one of the benefits of his presence is he’s the most reliable, of the family when he says he’ll do something, though that still isn’t much.

Lilith Hinton

Appearance: Lilith is a red standard poodle. Every two weeks, she goes to the groomer’s, where she gets a nice teddy bear cut and some hair bows. She often has a bit of mud dried to her paws despite her owners’ best efforts. She’s a standard size for her breed, and wears a pink collar with her tags.
Brief Personality: Lilith is an intelligent, playful dog. She loves her family, and bonded with all of them early on. She’s also friendly to strangers.

Kali Speck

Age (Birthday): 8 (12/23)
Appearance: A calico cat, Kali is often covered in a faint layer of dust. She’s a bit large, but Joanna says that’s just part of her charm. She wears a red collar with a bell and her tags constantly.
Brief Personality: She sure is a cat! She isn’t mean- but she doesn’t like strangers, and often hides when the family has people over. With her family, she can be downright affectionate- when it’s on her own terms, which it often is. It took her awhile to get used to everyone but Joanna and Alex, but she pretty much has at this point, though she’s still iffy on Lilith.

The Ochoa Family

OVERVIEW

After originally raising their children in rural Toksook Bay, Alaska for seven years and then bouncing around between relatives, Quanah Ochoa and his wife, Alyeska, finally settled their family into the neighborhood two years ago. Although one has departed, they consider themselves to have four children: oldest child and son, Nanook, oldest daughter, Nizhoni, youngest daughter, Nayeli, and deceased daughter, Siqiniq. The family is a quiet one, generally keeping to themselves. Though, this may be in part to the parents staying busy with their newborn. However, they are friendly when approached and the matriarch is known to cook dishes as housewarming gifts for newcomers as well as bring them to neighborhood events as a formality. Their children are social and typically allowed to have friends come by freely.

However, when situations cannot be easily resolved or matters take more deliberation to work out, this can create stress and cause her to become irritable over time. Her need for peace and balance may also cause her to unintentionally block out tension sometimes, leaving situations unresolved or others feeling ignored. For this reason, it may be important to express emotions to her clearly and directly. Usually, it's worn loose, but he will braid or pull it back for formal events. His deep-set almond eyes are a rich maroon-ish brown with full brows. He has a medium-sized nose, and medium-sized pink lips.

Nanook is bold and very expressive with his emotions, being the first one to react upon any sort of major news, whether he be excited or grieved. This has been a positive and negative in his life as it makes him an easy person for others to read, but the sincerity of his emotions has come into question as they sometimes come across too animated. His analytical and detailed nature makes him a great problem solver able to think his way through any situation, but also a people-person who is great at remembering potentially important individual details. His nature is typically casual and laid back as he likes to keep the mood lighthearted and open for jokes; however, he has been known to sometimes joke at the wrong time.

When it comes to family, he is closest to his younger sister, Nizhoni. Their relationship could be looked at as that of the average brother and sister, but they are always there as confidants for each other when they need someone. He is protective of his family, especially his sisters, and has been called overbearing for this reason. However, as he gets older, he is learning to step back from the things in their lives that aren't particularly his business and to stop meddling.

As far as relationships go, he never found the need to rush love or spend extra time longing for it.

Nizhoni has great confidence which has its positives and negatives. She is rarely hesitant to act or speak her mind, but sometimes this causes her to get ahead of herself or react without having all the details in line. Under pressure and in serious situations, she is fairly laid back, able to keep calm long enough to figure her way through it. She knows right from wrong and tends to listen to the angel on her shoulder. However, it doesn’t mean that she’s a force to reckon with. She can definitely hold her own and won’t allow herself to be trampled over or mistreated in any manner by anyone. She is creative and determined. When she has a set goal, she’s going to get it done or make it happen. She’s also caring, and will do anything that she can to help those around her, but gives special attention to her family. She takes a great deal of honor and respect in their culture even if there are some things that she disagrees with. If anyone tries to down her because of her heritage, they better expect a tongue-lashing.

Her relationship with her brother is fairly well. They are close in a sense that she can confide in him with most things, but they have boundaries. Though he doesn’t keep her in chains, she’s aware of how protective he is, and sometimes does things to purposely put him on edge.

Maher Family

The Maher family has lived in this neighborhood for 15 years years, making them one of oldest families in the neighborhood. The family consists of Bob Maher's father Donnie, Bob Maher himself, Bob's wife Callie, their children Beth and Max, and their dog Macie. The family sees itself as a form of "old guard" in the neighborhood, due to being around for many years. They like to remain social with their neighbors, and greet new families. One way they like to stay social is by hosting open 'game day' parties for basketball, football, the Kentucky Derby, and the Olympics, where they project the event on a screen in the backyard.

Family Role: Grandfather (father of Bob Maher)

Job(s): US Army retired

Appearance: Donnie has light gray hair, that was light colored in the past, and blue eyes. His age has started to show for sure in the wrinkles about his face, though maybe just a few less lines than in the picture thanks to his traditionally active lifestyle (even if he's had to scale back over time). A lot of times he wears pants and a white shirt with black suspenders/bracers. He never wears shorts, even on walks, though he will wear light athletic long pants and a t-shirt.

Distinguishing Features: scar/wound mark on his neck from a bullet he was lucky to survive during the Korean War (it didn’t hit anything major). Often seen sucking on Sassafras or horehound flavored old fashioned hard candies.

Brief Personality: Donnie was always a "go-getter" type person. Even though he's had to slow it down in recent years, he still does the best he can to stay active, and stay as young as possible at heart, if not physically. Just like always, he tends not to let things get in the way of what he wants to do, or what he thinks oughta be done. Such was the case when he enlisted in the Army during WWII while only a teenager, and went back to war in Korea. Donnie is usually friendly and likes to joke, but in a more serious capacity he can also serve as a rock of stability for the household. He's largely accepted that he must scale back his activity, but he is still a bit frustrated about it on his rest days.

Brief Personality: Bob isn't too ambitious these days. He's more laid back, and content with what he has, which is a successful family and business, and a home of his own. He's essentially the least type A person in the family. He loves his whole family, but sometimes finds it difficult to stay in tune with the whole family on a daily basis. Bob tries his best to show his support for his family when he can--weekends especially. Sports and cigars are two things that can make him come to life, and reveal that he is actually passionate underneath it all.

Appearance: Callie is pretty much always trying to look her best. On gamedays she often wears sports jerseys and apparel, and when she exercises she wears athletic/active wear. Her wavy and curly blonde hair is usually left free.

Brief Personality: Callie is a cheerful extrovert who enjoys spending time with people and being hospitable--she's the main catalyst for the family's social interactions/events they host. She tends to stay busy, whether it's around the house, working as a tutor part time, going on runs, or answering customer service emails/calls for her husband's business. Callie also likes to settle down with the family when it's all said and done, but sometimes finds it difficult to relax. She is a visionary of sorts, thinking up all sorts of plans for herself and the family, which tend not to go into action for one reason or another. Callie is supportive of her children, of course.

[Qi] Family Overview
The Qi family is a big one. With Ms. Qi already having Teenagers from her first marriage and highschool sweetheart, and then suddenly giving birth to triplets, life became very hard for her all of a sudden. The Qi family has lived in this neighberhood at least 15 years but has recently sold their house in order to buy a bigger one nearby to accommodate the extra children Ms. Qi's new partner has given her. Most people know her and her family as the quiet and polite neighbors who would bring gifts to new neighbors and would happily babysit for you on your holiday. But for the past few years there has been stress and drama, with Ms. Qi (Her married name was Loh, and most people would have known her as Mrs. Loh) and her marriage breakdown. Mr. Loh moved away and his kids sometimes visit him. About two years later, after the peace had set in again, Ms Qi's began dating again. Her newest partner gave her three new children in their first year of dating and has now been with her for 5 years and they are talking about Marriage, his name is Mr Choi. Her most recent squeeze has also brought with him a couple of dogs, so their household is very hectic.

Her earlobes are both pierced and she also has a septum piercing from her teenage years when she used to work at 'Face Candy' A piercing shop. She almost never is seen around town without makeup on, unless she is going to the Gym. She is a big fan of face glitter and jewels, even know her children say she it looks childish. Ms. Qi wears clothes in soft, feminine colours, with lots of flowing sleeves, skirts and floral designs. She rarely wears jeans, and prefers long skirts that sweep the floor and tops that are loose fitting but colorful and creative in design. She dresses, some of her more rude neighbors would say, with the confidence of someone half her weight, but Ms. Qi doesn't usually pay any mind to this, and always moves with the poise and certainty that she feels inside.

She can let her emotions rule her, and her reactive and emotional behaviour can lead to a sharp downward spiral. Due to this trait, Qi can be a bit of a control freak, she likes things the way she likes them, and resists anyone who wants to change them. Whilst this is good for her confidence, her business and her overall success as a mother and a business owner, it has been detrimental to her relationships because she is so unwilling to adapt and compromise and causes fights and struggles with friends, lovers and family alike. She is aware of her flaws, and is trying very hard in this new relationship to cool down and focus on him a bit more. She is truely loving, and cares deeply about others. She always tries to be there for her friends, which is why many stuck with her through her divorce, despite the fact that her Ex was a very likable and charismatic guy. She prefers not to yell, but if a muddy child steps one foot onto her newly cleaned carpeted floors, the whole street will hear her. She is very kind to service people, and will up and leave a date at the resturant if they are the least bit rude to them, as this is something she is serious about.

Julian is an absolute untit. He is very strong, very tall, very broad and very toned. He has fairly long facial features, a long, and very large nose being the focal point. He usually keeps a short beard, which is going grey at the ends. People say his slender eyes seem upturned and very kind. His most striking and surprising feature, however, is his hair. It falls all the way down to the small of his back, and is usually kept in a braid. It is black in colour, but greys are coming through every now and then. on top of his head he has bangs that are usually sweaped to the side and gelled back. He likes flannelette shirts a lot, but his style is really quite plain. He has several black shirts and jeans that look the same.

Julian is a very good guy to have around if you need a good cry or a rant. He is a great listener and he has a calmness about him that seems to make people feel at ease. So far he seems to be the only one who can cool off Ms. Qi when she is stressed out or flustered. He is very slow to anger and doesn't really do grudges, so people around town generally like him. He isn't a loud personality, and tends to blend into the background a little, but he doesn't really mind as he is quite the fan of quiet and alone time. On the flipside, Julian can be a little too lenient with people. He has spent his whole life being walked on by others because he likes to see good in others where it does not exist. He is also very bad when it comes to confruntation and dealing with people who are upset with him. He avoids fights where he can, and when upset himself, tends to hold it in and not communicate. This has been his downfall in his career and his relationships. His inability to deal with HR issues is probably why he has never been promoted to Project management, despite his several years of loyalty and service. His previous wife left him because she felt as though he didn't talk to her or share any of his problems with her, so he is trying his best not to shut everything in in his new relationship. Julian and Qi seem to bring out the best in one another.

She finds other people fascinating, and has ambitions to use these skills in social work or maybe linguistics when she graduates high school. She tries her best to make other comfortable with her and earn their trust. Unfortunately her lack of attention and general air-headedness is leading her astray, especially in her grades. She has a mind like an amusement park, there is just too much in it all the time and she has issues focusing on just one thought at a time. Brief Personality: She is a smart dog, and has been easy to train. She is VERY motivated by treats, but even more than that by moving objects. Mello is ball mad. She will probably disobey a command to come here if there is a soccer ball being kicked or a tennis ball flying through the air. She is good with the kids and quite protective of them. Altern-Triv Family Overview

The Altern-Triv Family appears to be a very simple and plain family consisting of James Altern, Cameron Triv, and children Caleb Altern-Triv and Tori Altern-Triv. They arrived in the neighborhood a few months ago for a multitude of reasons, including hoping a change would be good for their son Caleb. The parental units are James Altern and Cameron Triv. They were college lovers and married shortly after they graduated. Since having their youngest child Tori, they began to redefine their relationship. They remain married legally and still deeply care for each other but have mutually agreed to pursue love outside of their established relationship. To outsiders though, they maintain a seamless marriage.

Brief Personality: James is a very friendly man, he enjoys small talk and having a lot of friends. Since Caleb’s crash, this has seemed to go into overdrive. He never stops smiling and is almost performative in his happiness. He loves his family but doesn't know how to connect to his children and he seems to continue to distance himself from the life he has built. He craves adventure and freedom, and will often use this as an excuse to go out with friends for days at a time.

Brief Personality: Cameron is a tough woman, she is stubborn to the point it can be self-destructive. Nonetheless, no matter the situation, she fights to make it out on top. She works hard behind closed doors but in the spotlight, she seems to shrivel. She struggles to make nice with strangers and often just comes across as cold. Though this is probably true to a certain extent she does want to be involved and to have friends. Though she is fully on board with the agreement to pursue outside romance, she fears that she will lose the life she has come to love.

Appearance: Caleb currently presents rather drab. His experience in the accident has left him struggling with anxiety and depression and it manifests physically in a lack of physical self-care. His once excited green eyes contrasted with his reddish brown hair and his gleaming smile made him approachable and radiate positivity. Nowadays his energy has been muted and he struggles not only to make friends but keep them as well. On good days there is a glint of a new more optimistic Caleb. His hair is shoulder length and kept tied back most days and his clothing usually consists of paint and glue stain sweatpants and grey hoodie with his high school name and mascot on it.
Height: 6’0 in his chair he is eye level just above 4ft.

Their hair is short around back and sides with longer hair that curls at the top. They’ve got blue eyes and sharp features like their mother but a charming smile like their father. As for style, they lack it. Usually seen in gym shorts, tank tops or graphic tees and sneakers.

At times they are reckless with themselves and throw caution to the wind surrounding certain situations. Though they may gamble with their own well being, they never take risks when it comes to friendships. Their blood runs hot and they are quick to argue and even fight, but are also quick to make up.

Appearance: Bean is a lean medium sized dog with short golden hair and a small white tuft of hair on his chest. He comes to just above knee height and has a large snout and somewhat floppy ears. His tail is docked at about 2 inches long. He wears a green harness.

Brief Personality: Bean is a very energetic dog despite his aging body. He demands frequent jogs around the neighborhood. He loves people but is not usually very friendly towards other animals, especially smaller dogs and cats. He is very obedient and knows a number of commands. His favorite person is Caleb.
Other: After the accident, Caleb registered Bean as his emotional support animal.

The Evermores
For years, the rather close family had lived out on a ranch about an hour from the city. They had lived close to a little town, sending their kids to a public school with barely thirty kids per grade. Eventually, the family farm started to go bankrupt. Tensions grew strong between Eloise and Michael, with Eloise not wanting to leave the family farm, and Michael insisting that they move to the city, with better job opportunities and a better school for the kids. The parents, with a rather tense marriage, finally decided to come to an agreement. Michael, the kids, and Grandma Lydia moved to the city, while Eloise stayed home with the farm, along with her sister, Laura. Eloise and Laura were supposed to take turns visiting every couple weekends, but that has mostly turned into every couple months, causing more strain.

Appearance: Lydia keeps her gray and white speckled hair short and occasionally will brush it in the morning but usually, it's just a little gray mess atop her head. There seems to be a constant sweet smile on her face, despite the exhausted look in her eyes from trying to keep up with the rest of her family and doing her part, and she's on the heavier side. Her fingers are constantly covered in pricks and Band-Aids from whatever she happened to be busy doing, and happened to injure herself doing. Clothing wise, Lydia is always in an old pair of pants, typically Crocs (to the endless embarrassment of her grandkids), and some old tattered t-shirt because she refuses to purchase any new clothing.

Brief Personality: For the most part, she's a gentle grandma, but Lydia has had a hard time in life. She left her husband years ago, when Eloise and Laura were little, and purchased the family farm. It was hard work, but she was more than willing to put the time and effort in, but working in such a male-dominated industry as a single mother at the time made her rather brutally honest, and also always ready to argue. She's also openly gay, which was even worse at the time, and furthered her from other people her age, although Lydia never cared what others thought. Lydia also has a hard time sitting still, so she's constantly doing something -- sewing, crocheting, gardening, baking, etc., often accompanied by Kat.

He's almost always seen a suit and tie and when he's not, Michael is still usually in a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a loose tie.

Brief Personality: A serious businessman, Michael had worked hard all of his life to get to where he is today. At some point, he had fallen for Eloise and followed her to the family farm, but tensions soon arose when he realized that waking up to the sound of a rooster crowing was not how he wanted to spend his life, or raise his children. He's very much a city slicker, preferring the stone streets and the small neighborhood, although he hardly partakes in talking with anyone. Michael spends almost every day at his law office, working hard and trying to make enough money to support his whole family with little help from his wife, which has made him bitter towards her and the rest of the family.

She has a gentle, warm smile, although it reflects just as exhausted she always feels. She's definitely got some muscle, especially in her arms, from all the work around the farm. Eloise is always seen in a pair of work boots, dirt-covered jeans, and a flannel pulled over some old t-shirt. She never has the energy to try and clean herself up, even when going to town, or coming to visit her family.

She hardly ever visits, and very rarely talks to her children anymore. Contact with Michael has almost completely stopped, too, since Eloise suspects that he is cheating, and she's simply too exhausted nowadays to try and push for anything. Instead, she buries herself in the farm.

A gentle, flirtatious smile typically crosses her face, and Laura looks younger than she really is. She loves attention, and typically will wear clothes that show off her body. However, her attire is very different when out on the farm, although no one but Eloise tend to see her dressed like that. Laura loves to dress up for any occasion, even just running to the store for milk.

She's creative, constantly coming up with silly little inventions, and tends to be the dreamer between her and Eloise. Laura never takes anything serious, though.

Appearance: There's no denying that Asher is attractive -- broad shoulders, sculpted abs, a killer smile. His hair is golden-brown, and he keeps it short in the summer, spiking it up a bit in front, and longer in the summer so that it complements a nice beanie that he wears to keep his head warm. His eyes are a pale blue-green in color, like looking in the sea, and his skin is golden colored from spending so much time outside shirtless, doing things around the neighborhood to earn a few dollars. Asher knows that he's good-looking, and he isn't afraid to flaunt it in the least bit.

The popularity rubbed off on Asher in the worst of ways so that once he graduated, he had no drive to work, or idea of where to go for college. That being said, he's friendly enough, and tends to be a bit of a flirt, so he manages to find plenty of odd jobs to do around the neighborhood.

Kat likes to wear clothing that hides her figure -- dark hoodies, loose band t-shirts, baggy jeans or cargo pants, and a pair of Converse sneakers.

Kat is a strong animal lover, and also tends to be a hot-headed. She's focused on her grades and helping to take care of her family, especially her niece, Lacey, and the twins. Kat has no patience for nonsense, and is often lippy and very vocal about anything she just so happens to disapprove of -- which is pretty much everything.

All Felix can really fit into are Asher's old sweatpants, basketball shorts, and some over-sized t-shirts and hoodies, along with a pair of old shoes.

Felicity used to wear Kat's hand-me-downs but since she grew bigger than her cousin (much to Kat's dismay), Felicity has been able to get her own style. Felicity hates any kind of confrontation, so she often shuts down when being bullied at school, or any other similar situation. Thanks to her mother being so far away, Felicity often feels alone in the house with her cousins, and is usually found in the front yard by herself or at the park, or anywhere that she can be alone.

Brief Personality: A happy, go-lucky child, Lacey is fairly easy to take care of. She usually spends her time quietly attempting to color or playing by herself, and she rarely cries or tries to speak. Most of the time, all she does is point at what she wants. Lacey is very close with her Aunt Kat and her Great Grandma Lydia since her dad is usually too "busy" to care for her.

Age (Birthday): 3 (July 1st)

Appearance: A blue merle Australian Shepherd mix of some sort, with one blue eye and one brown eye. She's about fifty pounds, with a long-haired coat and a huge, feathery tail that tends to collect dust and dirt like nothing else. Iris always has a red bandanna hooked to her collar.

Brief Personality: A hyperactive dog that constantly has too much energy. She tends to cause trouble, and the family always knows that she's up to something when the house is unusually quiet. Iris loves kids and strangers, but tends to be locked up when people come over because she jumps all over them.

Age (Birthday): 6 (March 1st)

Appearance: Winston is a slightly overweight, large tabby cat with dark green eyes and white along his chest and paws. He's typically a fairly clean cat, although if he gets outside, he's been known to roll around in the dirt and not clean himself off before he returns inside to lay down on the couch. He looks to be part Maine Coon, but it's hard to tell since he was a rescue that Kat found.

Brief Personality: A lazy and very relaxed cat, nothing gets under Winston's skin. He's a favorite of kids when they come over, and is almost inseparable from Lacey, who insists on trying to drag him around by his tail. The only thing that seems to upset him is when the dogs bark, or when visitors come over, Winston will hide under the couch and refuse to come out.

The Hunters

The Hunter family has lived in the neighborhood for 2 years now. Their house consists of a Married man and woman, their three kids, two boys and in the middle a daughter, as well as the kids Great grandfather on their mothers side who was deemed unfit to live alone after his wife of 63 years died. Recently the eldest sons good friend has been kicked out of there home and was allowed to live with them. The mother and father are nearly never home until dark, often leaving their kids unsupervised for the majority of the day. The owners of the house can often seem uninviting due to their reserved lifestyle, however are never out right rude. The inside of their home has not been seen since they moved in, as they polity refused entry many times. Although the home owners may seem distant to most, their kids are very involved in the neighborhood and seem as though they alone take care of the house and their great grandpa.

Appearance:
Johann stands at 5'7. Shes a lithe woman with long legs. She has long, thin, salt and pepper hair,
almost always kept in a high bun. Her face is more aged then her husbands yet she still looks youthful in a indescribable way.

Some burn scars mark her hands but are light and noticeable only to an inspecting eye.

Personality:
Johann is soft spoken casually, but anyone who's seen her at work knows there's a beast caged within her lengthy ribs.
She, like her husband, prefers her solitude. however shes quick to accept indentations, so long as
her schedule allows it. She refuses most help offered to her unless its from her husband or children.
Shes polite but many can often see the judging in her eyes.

No one really knows Williams height at this point, as hes restrained to his wheelchair. He most likely stands

Personality:
William is well aware of the time he has left. He chooses it to give his granddaughter praise and encouragement,
and her husband a hard time. He doesn't spend time talking to the neighbors unless they are children,
as he likes the fact that they don't talk to him like he is one. Above all he enjoys talking to his great
grandchildren. Over all William is an old soul. He keeps to himself as he has little left to say.

mostly smooth except for the tips of his fingers, where his guitar strings have hardened.

Personality:
Terry is very much a smooth talker. He does not believe in commitment and is very open about it.
He loves the pleasure of flesh no matter the source. Hes also very intelligent,
but he prefers a simpler life then what his intellect could offer him. He loves literature and the arts
He has, like Benson, been caught under the influence. Overall he is a down to earth guy
with his own vices that his no ashamed of.

The Calist Family
The Calist family is a group of immigrants that have only recently been able to move from Cuba. After Mrs. Sashima and Mr. Sashima split up for multiple reasons, she had a hard time caring for her two daughters, Almeda and Fallon, and almost new born son Miguel. But when she met a man from America, who was there on a mission trip, and they fell in love, Esmerelda gained permission from the rest of her family to take her children, grandmother, (or Nana) and their dog Cerberus (Who poor Fallon could never part with) and marry the man. So she did, and Esmerelda, Almeda, Fallon, and one year old Miguel took the last name of Calist when Esmerelda married Caspian. Now, they all have moved, only a few months ago, into a sweet town. While Esmerelda, her mother, and Caspian seem nice, the first daughter, Almeda, seems a little headstrong, and to be frank a bit rude. Fallon, the second, is seldom seen outside by herself, and even then will hide behind her family members. She has a odd vibe, very shy but sweet. And Miguel? Well, hes a baby now, but when he grows up? Watch out ladies!

His bright blue eyes, dark brown hair, and sophisticated clothing style marks him as a business man, as he usually wears button ups, work pants, ties, and things like that. even working around the house he is in kaki slacks and a pale blue button up. His facial hair can grow into a full beard, but he wont let it, and Esmerelda convinced him never to do it again.

Body Shape: Caspian isn't a very built man, but you can tell he is not by any means weak. Tall, and having an air of confidence, Caspian gives off a air of intimidation.

Distinguishing Features: While his height is definitely one, his main feature is a massive scar running across the back of his neck, from a knife. He got it on one of his mission trips, when there was a attack at a orphanage and he protected several people.

Her nose is roman shaped, with wrinkles all on her face. Dispute what most people would think makes her ugly, Esmerelda rarely wears makeup, but is good at it and helps her daughters.

Body Shape: Esmerelda seems short, especialy when put next to her husband, but she doesn't mind. In fact, she likes her sort of thick, short bady type she received from her mother. She does, for some reason, have oddly large feet...?

Distinguishing Features: Esmerelda's most defining feature is her thick, black hair, that seems odd to be a defining feature, until you realize that the shampoo she uses literally makes her hair iridescent like raven feathers. That and her odd feet. Seriously, she wears like a size 10 in men's.

The wrist only has a small black sun, matching her little sisters moon. They plan on giving Miguel a star on his wrist when hes old enough, If he wants. Even from a young age, something has seemed very wrong with Fallon. Her pretty hazel eyes would shoot wide open as her and her mother were playing, and she would point and scream at nothing. Her curly hair needed to be cut short from loosing it during stress, and eventually she stopped trying to look pretty all together. She retained the natural beauty from her mother, but not her taste in clothes. Fallon is always trying to wear jeans in the middle of summer, cardigans and long sleeves. she has nothing to hide, really. She just feels safer that way. Distinguishing Features: If you saw them all together, you would think that Miguel is Caspian's blood child. This makes him stand out in the family. Another thing is he is a bit small for a baby. This was due to birth complications. But hes healthy

Appearance:

Cerberus is big. Even for a German Shepherded. Earning his name, Cerberus is pure black, and has a thick coat of fur. Fallon has to brush it and cut it at least once every two weeks, but she doesn't mind. It's therapeutic for her, and Cerberus loves it. He also has a maroon collar with his home number and his name, and Almeda got him a leash with skulls on it as a joke, but now he wont use any other leash

Brief Personality: Sweet with Caspian and Esmerelda, basically a puppy with Nana, playful and fun with Almeda, gentle around Miguel, and Fallon's best friend, Cerberus is a gentle giant, and is rarely aggressive. Even around new people, or dogs, he loves to play. He couldn't care less about squirrels or cats; If her randomly starts barking he's learned he can scare Fallon, and he doesn't wanna do that. There are three things that make him angry. If you seem to be threatening to Fallon or the rest of the family, if your making his owner uncomfortable, or if you are just being aggressive in general. When he is angry, his ears flatten, and her growls. He is still a German Shepperd, and if you start a fight with the dog he will attack you

Appearance: When he is at work, he wears a white doctor’s coat over blue scrubs and tennis shoes. Anywhere else he dresses in formal button up shirts, with a waistcoat and tie over it, and slacks, with brown shoes that always seemed to shine. He wasn’t required to, but he liked making a good impression. His eyes were pretty narrow, and a dark brown color. He wasn’t quite dark skinned, but he wasn’t pale either. Almost like a natural tan without going in the sun. His hair is brown slicked back with some grey streaks, but he hasn’t bothered to dye it like his wife.

Once April turned 13 however, Lisa Latendras divorced Gordan and broke off contact with the family, leaving the two siblings to be there for each other when their mother wasn't. After they both finished their schooling, the brother and sister moved in with each other because apartment rent's a lot easier to cover with two incomes and they, unlike some other siblings, could tolerate one another's presence. The two lived pretty uneventfully until April won a sweepstake with quite a pretty penny as the prize, and the two decided to move into a house with some more space. April and Oakley had only lived in the house for about two months before their father came home from taking his bird to the vet to discover his apartment building ablaze. His neighbor had knocked over some candles while heading out, and the fire had left his apartment uninhabitable. After their father canceled his lease and was out looking for a new place to stay, the siblings offered him a place to crash in one of the extra bedrooms in the house. The three lived in the place for another four months until April's friend Pepper was evicted from her apartment and was homeless, so April did the nice friend thing to do and allowed Pepper to stay in the fourth bedroom in the house. Currently, things are a little tense in the household because of April's worries about her father overworking himself at his age and Oakley and Gordan's concerns about why Pepper was evicted from her apartment and fired from her retail job in the first place.

Gordan Latendras

Gordan takes life at a slower pace than some hastier younger adults, taking time to think through decisions and ensure that his work is the absolute best it could be. He dislikes conflict and fighting, but if someone keeps pushing his buttons he tends to get annoyed. Gordan possesses a great deal of passion for his paintings, and a lot of love for both of his children--and his parrot of course--and seems mostly content with his life and how it has turned out. He shows basic human kindness to just about everyone because he sees little to no point in being cruel.
Appearance: Gordan is a fair-skinned man who has clearly seen the sun and time throughout his 61 years. He has curly blonde hair that is slowly fading to the grey of elderhood and dark green deep-set eyes. He has fairly noticeable eye bags from many light nights spent on his artwork and has pretty deep forehead wrinkles from many occasions of concern throughout his sometimes unstable career. Gordan tends to wear polos and other button up shirts, usually in simple patterns and colors. In the winter he usually wears long-sleeved plain colored shirts. These are paired with tan pants and his very worn navy slip-ons, or his newly bought sandals. Gordan doesn't care much for fashion and on more than a few occasions will wear things that don't necessarily match. Nearly all of his clothing is fairly new since his old shirts and such were burnt to ashes in the apartment fire.

Distinguishing Features: He's missing the ring finger on his left hand because of an accident involving a neighbor's dog when he was a teenager.

Brief Personality: Many words can be used to describe April, but personified sunshine works pretty well. Always thinking on the bright side and usually smiling, she radiates happiness like the sun radiates heat. She’s a kind soul and pleasant to be around, except when someone tries to change her mind on something. April has very strong opinions and rarely admits she is wrong, making sensitive conversation topics taboo, and arguments with her something to regret. In the aftermaths of an argument, she tends to hope that they'll agree to disagree or admit they're wrong rather than saying sorry, and will often fish for an apology from them. If you light a match near the bridge of a friendship with her, it will definitely be scorched, which is a shame considering her upbeat personality otherwise.
Appearance: April works incredibly hard to keep her restaurant afloat, and it certainly shows in the eye bags and crows feet on her fair-skinned face. She tries to cover up her sleep issues with creams and various cosmetics in very feminine and girly colors like dainty pinks and tans, but they're still visible on her face. April has straight pale brown hair that she wears in a bob that she has decorated with multicolored highlights in various shades of yellow, blue, green, and pink. She has dark green deep-set eyes like her father. April dresses in very girly things, preferring purple high heels and pink floral skirts over a sports jersey anyday. She usually wears fairly simple stud earrings and doesn't usually wear much other jewelry besides a flower-shaped pendant from Oakley she got for her 28th birthday. April also often gets manicures and pedicures fairly often, usually sticking to the color scheme of her highlights.

Brief Personality: There isn’t a lot you can say about Oakley without mentioning the word book or friends. He enjoys a good read over sports and makes an effort to get along with people. He accepts almost any apology, waves to his neighbors when he sees their car passing by, and will often try to strike up a friendly conversation. He often spends his free time reading, and will happily give a book recommendation to anyone if they are interested. When asked if he writes, he usually changes the subject, however, because he really has trouble coming up with ideas that aren’t rehashes of what he’s read lately, and he is anxious—as he tends to be— that this comes off as rude.
Appearance: Oakley's skin is on the lighter side that has more sunburns than sun, and he has blue upturned eyes, unlike his sister and father. He has straight blonde hair in an uppercut--April insisted the haircut would look nice on him--that's slightly darker than his father's. Somewhat unusual for guys, he has his ears pierced and usually wears a pair of gold-colored hoop or feather earrings. Oakley tends to wear very bohemian things when he isn't working in the garage, enjoying more complex patterned pants with simpler colored shirts and a pair of sandals. In the winter he tends to wear patterned sweaters with fuzzy-textured pants along with his pair of black boots.

Pepper Quidna

Brief Personality: Pepper can definitely be described as easy to talk to. She pays very good attention to people when they talk, and because of this she really seems like she cares about what they’re talking about. She makes small jokes and gives empathy when she thinks it’s wanted, and has a very good understanding of why someone might talk up this or complain about that. Pepper is generally a little quiet, though is very kind and friendly to people she grows close to. However, a lot of people don’t get to experience this side of Pepper because they find her emotional stiffness creepy, and because of this she doesn’t really have a lot of friends and is a little lonely.
Appearance: Pepper is definitely on the pale side, especially for her medium complexion. Her near-set eyes are a warm brown and her hair is done up in an undercut pixie cut dyed a mixed pepper black and silvery gray. She usually paints her nails with grayscale colors and various shades of blue and purple, and rarely will be seen not wearing earrings in the multiple piercings in her ears, along with the ones in her nose and eyebrow. Pepper dresses in a much darker style than the rest of the household, dressing in chokers, her leather jacket, and very gothic and punk-rock clothing. Her face is often caked with cosmetics, especially eyeliner, and occasionally she carries around a parasol.

Appearance: Pistachio is a well-groomed brown-headed parrot who is fairly average-looking for the breed, sporting the usual brown head, green torso, and yellow underneath the wings. She is set apart from the typical specimen of her species by the white flecks across her head.

Brief Personality: Pistachio is a fairly quiet, affectionate bird who quite enjoys being held by Gordan and his kids. She enjoys eating the occasional piece of strawberry April slips her, and is more than willing to start a game of fetch with one of her smaller toys.

Other: Doesn't really seem to like Pepper all that much.

Can mimic some of Oakley's whistling and has been trained to say "Hello", but isn't usually heard doing either.
