Llewellyn Artain-Galant

Death City, Streets

The young man walked closer to his current partner now that the Kishin was slain, this time glancing about the area to ensure no further ambushes would occur. When he was satisfied that they were safe for the moment, Llewellyn turned his gaze once more to the woman before him. Brows furrowed in confusion at the offering presented to him. Is she taking pity on me for my weakness? Nails dug into his palm as Llewellyn's fist clenched and his eyes narrowed sharply. He wanted nothing more in this moment than to crush the offered Kishin Egg and toss it aside like the unconscious trash that littered the street. How dare she look down on him! Llewellyn had lived through more death and loss than she had; Llewellyn had suffered far more than she had; Llewellyn had witnessed his very classmates slowly turning monstrous but, despite all of that Hitomi sought to belittle him! The blonde's eyes blazed for a moment as he reached out with a trembling hand, though Llewellyn stopped himself from dropping the Kishin Egg at the last moment. No. I must calm myself first. The Madness in the city is exacerbating my negative emotions. Normally, Hitomi's concern for his well being would have felt heartwarming, yet in the presently chaotic streets of Death City, Llewellyn found himself needing to utilize some breathing exercises to calm himself down before in order to be in the right state of mind to accept her kindness. "Thank you." The long haired male said with more shame than gratitude as he now absorbed the Kishin Egg. Then, when Hitomi handed him one of her kunai to assist in protecting himself, Llewellyn felt his shame grow even more. "I shall be fine." He tried to give a smile, but much like the assurance he had uttered, Llewellyn's heart just wasn't in it. How could it be when shame and guilt warred with a gradually growing tide of violent intentions?

Death City, Home

The walk back home was quiet for Llewellyn, well, as quiet as things could be while Death City gradually tore apart at the seams. There were a few more individuals inflicted with Madness that Llewellyn had to assist in dispatching, though he didn't have any issue with the task now. A few of them may have some minor cuts or be missing partial parts of their fingers but that was to be expected given the current predicament... right? Then again, even if his actions were wrong, Llewellyn couldn't afford to slow down now that he was armed with a weapon. There was too much to worry about with the mere thought of returning home. Was the Lord of the House still alive? If so, was he still back at the house or did he flee? Was he inflicted with Madness? Had he already turned into a Kishin? Was Alice back at the House waiting for them? Was Alice even still alive? These concerns drove the young man to power through their adversaries as quickly as possible so that both Hitomi and Llewellyn himself could arrive safely at their destination. All he had to do was ignore the small splatters of blood on his clothing and the soft whispers that floated into his ear throughout the fighting.

When the two Weapons stepped foot onto what used to be the street of their shared home, Llewellyn felt his heart and his hope sink in tandem. With this much destruction, it is guaranteed that a few of our neighbors died. The thought brought sadness and a deep frown alongside it, though it slowly morphed into a grimace as the blonde's thoughts turned to anger. I will see to it that whatever monster did this meets a painful end. Fingers clenched tightly around the kunai placed in his hand as darkened Cobalt orbs sifted through the partially destroyed buildings for the creature that destroyed his peaceful home. Llewellyn did not pick out anything of interest with his own efforts, though once Hitomi called out, he saw plainly the source of his current contempt. Another Kishin, sitting atop of his roof... eating a human soul. His emotions swiftly changed once again as anger morphed into horror. That is not the Lord's soul is it? Surely he is not dead. He was able to flee. Llewellyn tried to console and convince himself that this was not merely Fate answering his earlier worries with dark humor. He tried to not flinch in fear as the semi solid Kishin roared with obvious hunger and rushed the other Weapon. I have failed. I have failed as her Weapon. The Lord is dead, I have failed. The young man did not notice the fight happening before him for his panic had dredged up a different fight. One where he had failed to save his very first teammates. He could remember witnessing the light leaving another young man's eyes; the heartwrenching cries of the partner that was left behind and Vera's tears upon him as she wept. He was still so weak, even after all this time, after all of his training, he could not save anyone.

A Weapon was made to slay Kishin before they could bring about great harm to others, like a gardener trimming away harmful weeds. Llewellyn was a shield, however, which meant that he could not slay Kishin, he could not trim away the harmful, parasitic weeds. If he could not rid the world of weeds as a shield, then he was supposed to protect, safeguard. He was to be a pot you could carefully tend to, free of any threat of weeds but, he had failed. His pot was infested and weeds covered the soil, strangling all life out of the beautiful flowers. Gardening? Could you be any less dull? Another whisper reached Llewelyn's ears, this time with an annoyed affliction. Your insignificant efforts are not likeable to gardening. They are more akin to a worm drowning in the dirt as rain continually pours down upon it. Then, when you seek out a solution, you crawl and squirm your way towards the sun, only to be seared by its rays, drying up your efforts and transforming them into their true weak and brittle form. The whisper sounded very similar to Llewellyn's own voice, but he could not feel his lips moving. Was he hallucinating then? No. Your unworthy ears are being graced by my voice, now listen you worm. I shall not repeat myself. The whisper was gradually crescendoing as its words continued to reach Llewellyn. Vaguely, Cobalt eyes saw Hitomi combat the Kishin blob, yet no sound from their conflict reached his ears. Give yourself unto me. The whisper, now a voice nearly identical to his own spoke into Llewellyn's ear. The young man glanced backwards, trying to catch a glimpse of the voice's source, only for his eyes to take in the destruction he noticed upon setting foot on this street. Was there no one else here? You cannot perceive my perfect visage within the physical plain. The voice let out an amused chuckle as Cobalt eyes settled back upon Hitomi to watch the young woman fight again. Become my vessel and I shall ensure that no one under my protection will ever perish. The offer would not usually seem tempting to Llewellyn, yet with the absence of Alice these past few days, the chaos plaguing Death City and the Lord of the House's potential demise, Llewellyn was struggling to find a reason to refuse. Still, refuse he did. "No. I shall not allow a voice the ability to interact with the world. Not when it's intentions are unknown." His conviction was shaky, but Llewellyn believed it to be strong enough as he took a step towards the fight to assist Hitomi.

His single step became a second, then a third until Llewellyn was rushing forth, brandishing the kunai Hitomi gave him. The young man entered the combat with a powerful thrust, pushing the borrowed weapon into the blob's form. There was no noticeable change to the Kishin from Llewellyn's attack, though the long haired male's eyes widened in total surprise as his arm wrenched upwards, carving or displacing much of the Kishin's mass. My offer was not a choice, you lowly worm. His left hand grabbed hold of his right wrist as Llewellyn quickly retreated, thankfully avoiding the Kishin's reprisal by accident. Panic and confusion mixed together as Llewellyn took a moment to regain control of his arm. Resistance? How unexpected. The voice seemed... amused? Let us see how long your resistance will last, worm. The young man was forced to dodge to the right as the Kishin surged towards him now. Then, Llewellyn attempted to swing the kunai towards the Kishin again, only for him to lose control of his arm once more. The fight would continue on like this for Llewellyn. Whenever the long haired male tried to attack, the voice would then use Llewellyn's arm to deliver an attack of it's own design. Thankfully, Llewellyn still had control of his other limbs, but not his voice. He could not shout out any warning of his situation to Hitomi, for his jaw had clenched shut so tight felt as though both sides were sown shut. Nor could the young man try to get Hitomi's attention any other way without compromising their victory in their battle. I suppose I will just have to hold out until this Kishin is slain.

Nicholai's sudden embrace snapped Camilla out of her dark thoughts in an instant and instead was met with a soothing warmth. Both from her partner's wavelength and Nicho's hug. It almost seemed as if everything had calmed down in that moment. She considered his words and soon Gwen too began to speak to her out loud. Her words too leaving enough of an impact to get Cami's head straight again. "Yeah... You're right, both of you. All we can do is our best in the end right? That's why... That's why I will give my all to protect the people from this threat! As long as there is someone I can reach I will protect them. I refuse to let another innocent soul fall victim. No matter what." She looked at Gwen and then to Nicho. Giving them each a resolved smile. "After all, as long as there's people left so save. Our job isn't finished right?" There was a brief moment of peace but it wasn't to last. This city was still tearing itself apart and it fell to the DWMA to get everything back to normal again. In her attempt to think about their next move she caught sight of Gabriel, the boy she saw at the campfire, he must have been glad to have seen Nicho saying as the first thing he did was pull the fox eared Meister into an embrace not unlike Nicho did to her. She had to admit the sight was adorable but now wasn't the time fawning over these things again.

Gabriel spoke up about his situation, "Morika is missing too?" Camilla was taken by surprise and worry, as if it wasn't enough that Alice and Elvena were both missing for a while and now Mori's gone too? This on top of the whole city burning, things were starting to take a turn for the worse and she needed a plan. "First of all we need to find a safe haven for the people of the city, taking out the Kishin that threatens them isn't going to stop another jumping out at them later and we can't exactly drag them around with us either. If we can find them some place safe to stay hidden, we can focus on what's causing this chaos and put a stop to it." Camilla looked to Gabriel with a reassuring yet serious expression on her features. "Of course we will keep an eye out for Morika too. No one left behind." It wasn't exactly a very detailed plan, but it was a start.

"Although we DO still need to find somewhere somewhat fortified... And big enough to hold a lot of people... Anyone have any suggestions?" She asked but as if on queue, the sound of a familiar roaring engine prompted her to to look towards the roads only to see Gwen's signature four-wheeler hijacked by a bunch of joyriding Kishin. "... That... is not good... We need to stop that car! before the kishin hurts someone!" She paused for a moment, feeling Gwen's wavelength as she shouted out towards the thieves. Cami knew exactly what the Dark Irina meant to her and that just made it all the more important to get it back. "let's go we need to catch up!" The Meister shouted right as she started running, but no matter how fast someone was, human legs were a far cry from speed of a sports car. This wasn't going to work... Unless...? "Nicho! I have a plan! You can transform into a small fox right? Like you did to escape the lock I had you in during our duel? I need you to do that again and hold on to Gwen. Then I'll throw you as hard as I can so you can Hijack the car?" She wasn't expecting Nicholai to agree with such a crazy suggestion. There was probably better solutions but this was currently a panicked situation.

image 5.png“How long has it been since we’ve had a mission like this with a proper stakes?” Sasaki wondered aloud as he watched Takeshi from his vantage point.
Too long if you ask me’ came the reply from a voice in his head. ‘After all the babysitting the academy has had me do, I’ve been long overdue for a change in scenery’.
It was over two weeks now that Sasaki and his partner, the Shibusen Dean of Student Affairs Sanae Fujimura, had been tasked with tailing and reporting on the whereabouts of Takeshi Mifune. Lord Death had expressed a great deal of faith in the connection between Takeshi and his abducted meister and had reasoned that Takeshi would be able to locate Elvena, if given enough time. Sasaki had been deemed the most suitable for the task and so he and his partner Fujimura had gone about following Takeshi’s movements covertly.
For the first several days, Sasaki and Fujimura had slowly begun to suspect more and more that Lord Death’s faith in the bond between the two students had been misplaced. They watched as Takeshi found very little in terms of evidence that might point to where Elvena might have been taken or whom she might have been taken by. However, they had endured in their commitment to the mission, and they had watched as Takeshi’s demeanor slowly shifted as he became more and more sure he was growing closer to his meister.
Little more than an hour before Takeshi, and by extension the pair following him, had reached his apparent destination, Sasaki and Fujimura had received word that an unprecedented outbreak of madness had exploded all over the country. Sasaki expected Lord Death to instruct him and his partner to abandon their mission and return to Death City to provide support, but instead they received orders to do just the opposite.
Sasaki pulled out a small mirror from his pocket as he watched Takeshi continue to examine the imposing steel doors that sealed the facility from the outside world. He carefully traced the numbers 42-42-564 onto the mirror and waited for the connection to Lord Death to establish itself. Immediately, he relayed to Lord Death and the other members of Shibusen staff present the precise location of the facility, as well as the current statuses of both Takeshi as well as himself and his partner. After acknowledging his report and confirming that as of the current moment Takeshi himself would be unable to enter the facility for the time being, Lord Death instructed Sasaki and Fujimura to return to Death City and assist with matters there while a full scale rescue and assault effort was gathered for the facility.

May 23, 12:30pm, Death City
The Time Has Come
A complete two hours has gone by since Ikora gave her orders to the students to protect the city. In that time, news of Morika's disappearance has arrived towards the staff, as well as many kishins and civilians being disposed of. Those who weren't affected were escorted towards the academy where they would be held until the crisis is over. The madness wavelength within the city was still going and only getting stronger. It was as if something sinister was arriving. After Kento Sasaki relayed his message towards Lord Death, it didn't take long before Ikora and the other teachers received the same information. Ikora's voice boomed throughout the city as she ordered the students to immediately cease what they are doing and return to the academy's courtyard. All the students stood before her and the other administrators, as she relayed the information towards thm. The look on some of their faces was as if they were filled with new hope. Ikora announced that she would be sending them on a mission together to retrieve and eliminate the group responsible. After her orders were given, Ikora and Armstrong performed a soul resonance. Using Armstrong Super Soul perception, the pinpointed Takeshi's current location, and with Ikora's ability, a lightning strike struck the students sending them on their way. With a strike of lightning the students arrived on the scene near Takeshi miles away from Death City. Standing before them would be a a steel door built into the stones surrounding it. The door led to an underground facility, where Alice Drake and Elvena Stein are currently located. Filled throughout the entire facility were armed soldiers, with kishin eggs for souls, and other potential threats. There was a hint of madness wavelength leaking through the door; however, for now it caused no effect on any of the students. From here on it's kill or be killed.

Nicholai smiled a little as it seemed Camilla had actually calmed down a little bit the Russian was glad that the girl wasn't totally out of sorts now even if everything was totally falling apart around them in a sense. "exactly right my friend good attitude yes" Nicho replied with a nod and a grin 9 tails all wagging gently behind him. ears then twisting in the direction of a familiar British accent as he would turn around to see his former weapon partner Nicholai Gabe. unsurprised by the hug from the affectionate boy Nicholai returned the hug in kind even if it was slighly awkward it was nice to be close to Gabe again, especially with how long he'd been left without any partner. "Nice to see you again Gabriel my friend" Nicholai said with a smile tails all wagging more rapidly now. New of Morika dissapearing was concerning hopefully the poor girl was alright with this craziness going around. “I’d be more then happy to work with you again” he’d gone on to reply extending a hand for the other to hold onto, accepting the other soul even if it was just going to be temporary. now holding the large axe in his hands attention turned to the sound of a particular loud car speeding past it looked familiar… Gwen’s car hijacked by Kishin. “Yes Indeed Camilla I don’t think Gwen would want car broken either.” He’d agree with the red head, her plan however was insane and wonderful. “PERFECT idea let’s do this“ he exclaimed morphing into a fox still carrying Gabe in his mouth, now it was time for action.
_____________________

like with everyone else Nicholai and Gabe where launched towards a large metal door and there targets inside plus a whole host of other things least they could stop this, each of the Russians tails were slightly singed thanks to there pervious successful antics involving getting Gwen car back luckily on one piece. other injuries from various fights. “This is gonna be a big one I’m sure we will be fine hey” Nicholai announced outloud in a cheerful tone knowing that the mood would be incredibly bad right now some positive motivation never hurt.

Elias Stein

13bada75fa5811714fd6c86f8a1d4420.jpgThe aftermath of their fight had Marcus needing to recoup a bit, in which Elias came out of weapon form instantly. He was so pumped up from the combat they’d just engaged in that he was breathing heavily, eyes glossy, and his punches barely held back with each enemy they encountered. They were soon recalled from the city and given new orders. It was here that he finally felt like he could breathe. A location, a place. A pinpointed area that his sister could be found in. This was it. The moment he had been waiting for for weeks, literal weeks. He flashed his partner a wide grin, the promises of terror and anguish to be given to each person responsible lingering behind it. And with a flash they were gone, leaving the safety of their city, a battlefield of its own, to be thrown into the heart of the fight, the source of it all. His crimson eyes slid up to settle on the enormous doors in front of them and he let out a wicked laugh, unamused by the taunt its size and durability offered. If this was meant to weaken their spirits or give them trouble, Elias sure as hell wasn’t buying into it. He shifted into a few stretches, muscles and skin still covered in dirt and sweat from the rampage he’d gone on around Death City.

Back up. “ He spoke loudly, as a suggestive warning, casting his voice over the entire group. Elias took a few slow steps, fingers flexing at his side in preparation, as he began to near the door that was portrayed as a nuisance to him, yet an obstacle in this moment to the students standing before it. The first punch was thrown and it almost appeared like nothing had happened, but soon the metal beneath his fist dented inwards from the demolition nature behind it. The sound of explosions began rippling through the air as each blow began picking up in speed against the thick metal. He’d been silent the entire time, face twisting into rage and concentration the more time ticked by, a twist of insanity pulling at his lips and eyes as he continued, punch after punch. An ebony black that dared to swallow his hues now veiled his eyes, those pupils changing drastically in color to be more animalistic and slit like, a vivid yellow that shone brightly. His black blood demon was starting to surface more, aiding the attacks on the door with an inhumane strength. Blood began to drip from between his fingers, staining the dirt below, until finally the skin around his knuckles was almost non-existent. He let out an enraged scream and reeled his arm back, emptying every bit of destruction fueling emotions he could muster into the last hit. His outcry and the blast melded together into one sound that echoed through the entire area around them. It went eerily quiet until a loud groan and creaking of metal showed the door giving way, completely crumpled up and falling inwards.

Elias stared at the door and then peered down at his trembling hands, a small grimace crossing his features as he hastily shoved them into his pockets, ignoring the slowly seeping stain of blood that was travelling quickly along the fabric of his jeans. He wasn’t about to act like the leader or anything of the sort, not enjoying that kind of role, so he simply walked over the ‘corpse’ of the destroyed door, making his way into the facility. The air here was mixed with all different things, regardless of inability to use the meister ability, soul perception, he could literally smell the disgusting stench of kishin infested humans in this place. It was much akin to how ones skin smelt when burnt, a smell he admittedly enjoyed, but here it was a different smell, same concept. Those eyes glowed vibrantly, now alive with a renewed vigor, amidst the dimly lit building he was trying to navigate. An elevator shaft loomed ahead and his steps were anything but cautious as he walked up to it, hands still snug in a nice wet pool of his own blood within his pockets, as he leaned forward to gaze down. It didn't seem to go too far down, at least not into the very depths of hell or anything of the sort. " I'd jump but I'm not letting you go down empty handed. " He said with a scowl, looking over towards Rin and Kade, unable to hide the small leak of worry that showed in that moment. " Keep her safe, please. " Elias spoke in a thready whisper, not ready to admit he condoned that partnership but indeed he had. He was still haunted by watching her get impaled during their previous mission, the memory a vivid nightmare that crossed his mind in the dream world quite frequently. Rin was still okay though and somehow he knew he had her new meister to thank for that. Some day he might. His hands were the best for her to be in right now. A quick sigh pushed past his lips as he transformed, that normal glow being replaced by the flames of a dimly light fire. His blade end stuck in the ground, handle bare until Marcus decided to grab it.

Rin was glad that her partner actually found her music quite beautiful. While he fought everything that came at them, she played her music and helped him out whenever he needed it. As a weapon, she could only do so much after all. An hour passed and it felt like it was a never ending blood bath, left and right she was constantly in use, while also being replenished with souls to keep her going. Even with all the training, I'm surprised I'm going on this long. The city is in ruin and there's so much going on... We may not have one moment of rest for a while. she thought to herself, taking a glance at her partner; Who adjusted well to her weapon form and used her practically flawlessly. "Kade, as long as you keep me replenished, I can keep going. But the moment we stop getting souls, is when my energy will start to deplete." she warned, taking note of his acknowledgement before they had once again went into the war that's only just begun. Another hour had passed and the sound of a familiar voice filled the city. It was strong, Booming almost. Ikora Rin thought, as she took a glance from her gun back toward the DWMA. "Kade we need to head back. Finish killing this thing and lets go." after that, their last enemy -for the time being- was defeated and they returned back to the DWMA where other students and teachers had been gathered. Some seemed to remain within the city, defending what the students got recalled from.

She shifted back into her human form, stretching her limbs and looking a little tired. But it was okay, she was okay. Hopefully the news that came from Ikora was just what they needed...Luckily it had, they had not only been given a different assignment, but they had found the location of their missing classmates. Elimination and Retrieval. A familiar task. though, Kade wouldn't know how familiar it would have been. Before the class knew it, Ikora and Armstrong had done their soul resonance, only to strike the class with lightning and find themselves far away from the DWMA and at a very large steel door...Or perhaps it was something stronger? Glancing at her partner, and then at the rest of the class, almost everyone was accounted for. "This might be the only break we have until we head inside...We should enjoy it while it lasts." the weapon said aloud, hoping some had heard her. Everyone was covered in dirt, blood, sweat, hell, maybe even tears. Landing those Ruby Red eyes onto the door, she could feel an unsettling presence coming through it. If this place was leaking madness...No doubt there was plenty of it inside. Elias went and moved in front of the door, out of everyone in the group, he was the most reliable when it came to exploding doors and walls. Sure, Elgin Jackaboi Jackaboi and Rin herself could explode things, but not off the bat like the Stein could.

Unfortunately one blow was not enough as he continued to punch it repeatedly. To everyone else it may have sounded like just explosions, but she could tell there was more than him trying to break the door. The stronger blows were obvious to her before the door finally gave in after his last battle cry. There was smoke everywhere, but she waited with the others till it cleared up. Even though she couldn't see from her angle, she wanted to walk up and check on him. But he had shoved his hands into his pockets and proceeded inside He sucks when it comes to hiding things. pursing her lips slightly, she sighed. "Let's go, Kade." as she began to approach, she noticed the Stein looking in their direction and even though she couldn't hear, she could read his lips kind of. Then he shifted into his weapon form "You guys better not get yourselves killed! Or else I'm going to bring you back and kill you myself!" she shouted before suddenly turning into her weapon form that was snugly in Kade's hand. As she watched from the inside of her space, her eyes teared up Don't do anything stupid, Idiot. "Good luck, everyone. Watch your backs, and watch each others back. No death today. No more." @EveryoneAroundHer taking a deep breath, she grabbed onto her violin again. Whoever was nearby was able to hear the music emitting from her weapon form, and it almost felt as if some felt a bit of a booster, or perhaps a pick-me-up from the music.

Raid the Facility
367-3674815_league-of-legends-true-damage-ekko.jpgThe fight against the clown ended with Marcus hella exhausted. For the next upcoming battles,Elias took it upon himself to battle it out while Marcus caught his breath. That final attack he performed was once experimental and hadn't really been tested until then. Once he was rested up, he was ready again for battle. He and Elias both went towards his family deli where they protected his mother and the family business with his life. Time flew by as the fought, hearing Ikora recall them back towards the academy after 2 hours of fighting. He knew not of the reason however, they were swift in their movements. The news passed on to them brought a went of hope within him. He looks over at Elias and grins just as he does the same. The two of them were locked in knowing full well of the can of whoop ass they will be opening on the ones responsible. Once Ikora and Armstrong resonated together, a scene he thought he'll never see, they sent away with by a lightning strike. Appearing miles away from the DWMA and before a metal door, Marcus quickly scanned the area trying to get himself together. Takeshi was there as well, just as Ikora had informed. He looked restless and also ready to go at any moment. "Takeshi...great job dawg. You'll make Elvy proud." He says with a slight grin towards his classmate. At the words of his partner, he turns his attention towards the door. He knew exactly what Elias was planning on doing. With each strike he laid upon the door, an explosion followed. It was only a matter of time until the door gave up.

"Knock knock." He says as Elias successfully blows the door down. His hands were far from okay, as they were leaking blood. But he said nothing and followed behind his partner entering the facility. The madness he felt leaking from the door only intensified by a little as he stepped in. The thing was, this madness felt all too familiar. "She's definitely here." He says glancing at Elias. Before them was a huge slanted elevator shaft heading further down into the facility. It was wide enough to fight multiple vehicles on one lift and steep enough for them to slide down. The platform was at the bottom while the control panel was to there left. They could either go down quick or wait for the lift. Marcus and Elias already knew what they were gonna do. "Hehe preciate that." He says towards Elias as he crouched down placing his hands on the metal floors and used his soul perception. "Alright ladies and gentlemen, the moment we step down there, everything begins. This place is filled with kishin eggs so don't hesitate to kill. We've been in this scenario before. Just as Rin says, no dying and please don't get shot." Marcus says standing up. He was moments away from playing music before he started to hear and fill the tune coming from Rin's weapon. He grabbed onto Elias' hilt allowing the music to flow through him. "Ooooo this is different Marki Mark. I like this. That Rin girl definitely has some talent." "On that, we can agree." He pulls Elias out and throws him onto his shoulder. "Alright EAT class, lets go get our classmates back." He says just before leaping off the edge and sliding down the elevator shaft.

His eyes started glowing as he uses his soul perception yet again. He say souls gathering at the bottom of the shaft as if they were preparing for a fight. "Looks like they hear us knocking Eli. You're gonna need to say hello." He says with a grin. as he got closer their enemies became very much clear, as so did the lasers on their guns. "Time for our greeting." He leaps into the air, and spins one time hurling Elias towards the ones below. Upon impact to the metal ground, he releases an explosion knocking back and killing a few soldiers. Marcus lands grabbing Elias once again. He looks up scanning his area, noticing soldiers everywhere as well as vehicles parked alongside each other. Currently they were within a hanger bay where the facility keeps their vehicles. Quickly moving to cover, he hides behind an armored truck as bullets were sprayed towards him. "Elgin's missing out dawg. Though obviously family comes first." He says referring to the fact that Elgin stayed back to keep his little sister safe. He peers through the window of the trucks as the guards starts spraying towards his comrades as well. Knowing that he couldn't have that, he flanks around the trucks and begins cutting down any soldiers that got in his way. For those that were too far away shooting at him, he either used Elias to guard or one of the soldiers as a body shield. He refrained from using his soul force, due to wanting to save it for the right time. He didn't need it for this grunts anyway. Marcus noticed that at the end of the hanger was another metal door much like the one outside; however this one would be much easier to open. "Kill em all Marki Mark. One after another!!!! Just make sure to get shot too." "Shut up man, damn. I thought I talk to much."

Takeshi had been taking their time casing the location that kept them away from their partners, ensuring that their presence was kept to as much of a minimum as feasibly possible in fear of spooking their prey and causing the walking dead men to hurt what was theirs. They knew that, soon - within a short few minutes even, a convey would be making its way back, and with a bit of legwork and wetwork, they would be able to hitch a ride and sneak inside the compound. They'd get to their treasure, free them, and then rip and tear their way through without the fools being any the wiser, not until it was much too late for them. That had been the plan, and a damned good one given their current overall state, but then that plan went straight to the depths of hell reserved solely for the worst of the worst, all on the ringing sound of thunder in the middle of a clear sky. To say they were shocked at the sudden appearance of their supposed "teachers" and "classmates" appearing out of thin air would be an understatement. To say that they were incredibly, unbelievably, unimaginably, inconceivably frothing mad at their appearance would also be quite the understatement. Weeks of sleepless nights, relentless hunting, disregarding all necessary bodily requirements up to the bare minimum, and submerging themselves into a bottomless well of corruption, darkness and pure Madness, going down a path that is near impossible to return from, all for their treasured ones, and then these absolute useless fools just appeared as if they could have done this at anytime, ruining his planning, announcing themselves to their enemies, and putting their treasure in danger, and that drove them to a near frothing madness. But then, the one that had overreached his bounds ages ago had the gall to address them as if he had done anything of value leading up to this point, as if any of them had done anything of value.

The combination of the futility of stealth, dashed thanks to the arrival of the other and the explosive one's actions, as well as what their presence did to their mentality, loosened the tenuous hold Takeshi had on their presence. The sheer weight of their anger, hatred, and bloodlust gushed outward as if it were a tsunami, and finally did Takeshi turn to gaze at their so called "comrades", a snarl of disgust and hatred stretching across their face, a complete contrast to the usual calm demeanor that the swordsman was known for, only further accentuated by their pitch black eyes. It would be clear to anyone with a working set of eyes that Takeshi was on the verge of lashing out at them, only held back by their concern for Elvena. Pointing at the group with their sword, Takeshi ground out through gritted teeth, "I see. I kill. Even you. No... Especially you." Snarling one last time at the mixed group of Meisters and Weapons, Takeshi spat in their direction then dashed in a blur of motion towards the opening that Elias had made.

Takeshi may as well have been a streak that moved past Elias, Marcus and the rest, barely holding themselves back from simply lashing out with their blade and decapitating one of the annoyances along the way, but their partners were the priority. So they moved, moved faster than they had ever before, faster than anyone thought possible for them, and they as they reached the ramped elevator and threw themselves forward, they turned into their weapon form, spinning forward akin to a giant buzzsaw streaking through the gloomy tunnel, arriving at the bottom whilst simultaneously cutting through anything in their path through sheer, soul fueled momentum and powered by Black Blood. Even as they landed, Takeshi would transform immediately, dashing quite literally through everyone in their path, wetting their blade with the blood of everything around them. They only had eyes for the door between them and what was theirs, and the closer they got, the faster and more frantic they became until they finally stood in front of the door, it having opened as more and more lambs spilled out to the slaughter. Barely taking a moment to ensure that no one else tried to get in their way, Takeshi stepped through the doorway, eyes searching as they barked out.

"GIVE. THEM. BACK."

Grace Amadeus Fugue
Death City Streets --> Hidden Bunker
Interacting with: Jazmin ( The Elder The Elder ), The EAT Class

Shit, Grace thought to herself as she forced her mind to hone in on the kishin's wavelength. Immediately, she turned on a dime, each motion coming with a great deal of forced effort. As she moved, her grip on her partner merely intensified. If Jazmin's earlier words about horror movies had managed to reach her, the meister's mind was too far away for her to respond. "...Don't let me let go," she instead replied, thrusting the sword-blade forward as she smashed straight through one of the daycare windows. Skidding to a stop just beyond the makeshift entrance, she flicked Jazmin's lever, her partner's weapon-form snapping outward in an instant as the extended profile of the trick-scythe. "Changing," she said simply, nearly mechanically, as she arced Jazmin's longer blade up along the kishin's back. The creature stumbled and turned, yet by the time it had, Grace had already rolled to the side, shifting Jazmin's form a second time to lessen the weapon's profile and make her dodge possible. Springing to her feet, she shifted her partner a second time, bringing the scythe back into play just as the Kishin's own makeshift weapons collided with Jazmin's extended handle.

The sooner you get rid of it, the sooner all this stops.

Even as she parried, Grace's hands trembled, her grip on Jazmin slick with sweat as she continued to hold her composure. For a moment, the twang of improper resonance shot through the meister, causing her to cry out sharply as she nearly dropped her partner. The kishin, blowing past her guard, began to bear down on the meister as she took a deep breath and cleared her mind as best she could. Shifting to the side, she stretched the scythe forward before pulling her partner inward--along with the kishin, as if he were caught in a crook.

Destroy it now.

As the kishin moved toward her, she ducked past it, repositioning herself at the back of the beast as she shifted Jazmin's form yet again, untangling the monster from the sudden maneuver as she spun around. As much momentum as Grace could muster went into a single blade-swing, aimed right for the monster's waist.

Destroy it now.

With the sickening splatter of separated flesh, the kishin's separated halves tumbled along the ground, rolling to a stop near the edge of the room as Grace fell to a knee, breathing heavily. Even the brief lapse in resonance seemed to have scattered her mind; for nearly a minute, she simply remained there, regaining her breath with closed eyes.

"...Get that soul," she eventually said, breathing deeply, "and then let's get the kids out of here."

---

"...It's getting worse," she said, standing in front of the bunker as the doors were forced open. Despite what lay ahead, the girl seemed like she could barely stand, the least composed, and indeed the least ready, of those standing in front of the soon-opened hallway. The others, raring to go, pushed in as soon as the opportunity was available as Grace dragged her feet.

The sooner all of this is gone...

As Grace picked up speed, her breathing only intensified.

No--no. That...would make it too silent.

"It's getting worse, Jazmin."

I need to make as much noise as possible.

Another twinge of misplaced resonance cut through Grace, though this time she seemed to ignore it, wide eyes focused forward as she shot through the live-fire laid down by several armored vehicles. She lept upward toward, passing over the top of one as, in a swift motion, she separated the head of the gunner atop its emplacement from its shoulders. Landing, she immediately darted toward a second, letting out a growl as she shifted her partner into a sword, running them through. Shifting Jazmin back into a scythe, a simple swing was all it took to rip the body clean from the blade.

...I can still feel the silence. It still isn't loud enough.

  • Death City - Residential Area

I need to hinder it's movements some how. The long haired male thought as he narrowly avoided receiving one of the Blob's meaty fists with his face. Llewellyn had a readily apparent advantage when in came to speed as did Hitomi, yet the Kishin seemed to be capable of keeping pace with the two Weapons. Though, made the situation truly difficult was the Kishin's durability and sheer tenacity. The voice had kept control of Llewellyn's arm as he continued to fight the Blob but, not even the voice's more vicious contributions seemed to amount to anything more than shallow cuts upon their shared opponent. Hitomi is having difficulty in finding a proper opening too. Cobalt blue eyes slid over to his current partner, noticing that Hitomi's own efforts were similar to his own. Our previous fatigue from our earlier skirmishes is affecting us as well. Llewellyn ducked under another one of the Kishin's powerful swings, using the opportunity to slice at the abomination's lower area in an attempt to hamstring it. Unfortunately, the blonde's gradually increasing fatigue had caused his strength to wane which in turn caused the kunai to not bite as deep as he would have hoped. Freely grant me complete control and you shall have your victory. Submit to me. The voice whispered, the inaudible sound eliciting an involuntary shiver as Llewellyn tried to ignore it now. If only he could talk to Hitomi and attempt to coordinate his attacks with her, this fight would have then already been over.

When Llewellyn tried to dart away after his most recent failed attack, his legs froze and refused to budge. Naturally, this caused the long haired male to panic as he tried to force his lower limbs to move through sheer force of will. His efforts were met with an unnaturally large fist colliding with Llewellyn's entire right side of his face. The attack should have sent the blonde flying away, presumably into one of the many destroyed houses surrounding them, yet it did not. It took a moment for Llewellyn to push beyond the welcoming embrace of unconsciousness and the numbness from the temporary lapse in function of his pain receptors to notice why. His arm had dug the kunai deeply into the Blob's flesh and used it as an anchor to keep Llewellyn from being launched away from the Kishin. What....? The blonde eloquently thought as he grimaced through the returning pain, allowing his left arm to dangle uselessly at his side. I put in this amount of effort, yet it was not quite enough. Do you wish for one of my position to toil and sweat like some lowly commoner? The voice sounded irritated and its words took a moment to process before Llewellyn realized that it had taken over even more control over his body. Additionally, it appeared as though the voice had no intention to allow Llewellyn to dart about as he had been. This granted the Kishin another chance to slam it's fist into Llewellyn's face again, causing the young man to see stars as his head snapped back from the attack's force. He swore he could feel concussion forming now along with the black eye that was gradually forming, yet there was nothing Llewellyn could do to improve his situation. The voice did not seem keen on allowing Llewellyn to move about as he pleased or so the blonde assumed when his legs continued to refuse to move.

Thankfully, mercifully, Llewellyn's sacrifice allowed Hitomi the chance to claim the Blob Kishin's head. The corrupted creature did not notice it's death approaching, if the head rolling around on the debris littered street was any indication. "Ish over?" The young man slurred out, blinking back the darkness creeping along the edges of his vision as he stumbled on his feet from the loss balance the Kishin's death caused. Cobalt eyes swirled with imaginary pinwheels as they saw but did not look at the young women or the new Kishin Seed floating before four of the Weapons. Wait, four? He probably, most definitely had a concussion. Llewellyn gently set his left hand upon the unhurt side of his head as he took more than a few moments to gather his fragmented thoughts. Once he had, Llewellyn attempted to speak again and he was surprised when he could verbally communicate his state of well being, though when Llewellyn attempted to broach the topic of the mysterious voice lingering within his head, his jaw seized up and a familiar chuckle rang through out his mind. Did you truly believe I had given you permission to reveal my presence prematurely? I should punish you by utilizing your own hands to exterminate the peasant here. The blood in Llewellyn's veins turned to ice at the voice's threat, now knowing full well that the voice could assume control over his very own body. However, I am a generous being. I shall forgive your impertinence this time, be sure to remember this boon.

    Hidden Facility

Before they had been called back, Llewellyn allowed Hitomi to decide what should happen to the Kishin Egg while he took the lull in combat to quell his inner conflict with little success. The voice was strong and it would not be silenced through Llewellyn's will alone. I suppose it is fortuitous that we were dispatched to this new complex. The distraction should help in preventing the voice from growing any stronger... I hope. The amused chuckle that Llewellyn most certainly did not make sprouted yet another seed of anxiety within the young man. Then again, it was entirely possible that his classmates actions also had a hand in Llewellyn's increased nerves. After all, it was not every day one witnessed a young man punch his way through a steel door or another young man threaten an entire group with death for simply showing up uninvited. Both actions were worrying, yet with the current mission and Llewellyn's lack of closeness to either of his fellow male classmates, it would be impossible to attempt to assuage his growing concerns. The Ember has strength, he shall survive this ordeal, which is far more than I can say for you, worm. The voice sounded impressed by Elias, though there was also another feeling lingering within its words that Llewellyn could not decipher with the limited amount of time their group had. So, instead Llewellyn simply followed after his classmates as they all passed through the opening his fellow blonde created.

Llewellyn stuck to the back of the group as everyone progressed deeper into this new facility, feeling more than uncomfortable with entering another complex after their class's last trip into a similar building. His hesitation delayed his involvement from the fight, though it did not spare Llewellyn from re-witnessing the horrors ingrained into his mind as he viewed his classmates' work. The young man was hit by a wave of nausea that, when paired with his fatigue from his previous fights in Death City, nearly dropped him to his knees. Llewellyn reached out with his hand to steady himself against the wall, only for it to make contact with something wet and sticky. The blonde knew what he was touching even before he brought his shaking hand in front of his face to see the red substance covering it. Blood. Llewellyn knew these individuals his classmates were killing were a serious threat to them all, he knew and yet, their human appearance left his resolve considerably shaken. I should not need to repeat myself so often. The voice whispered to Llewellyn as the young man emptied his stomach onto the red stained tile floor. My offer still stands worm. All you need to do is submit. The reminder was tempting since the voice's offer would spare Llewellyn from experiencing yet another facility incident but, Llewellyn still remained ignorant as to the voice's goals. "I-I must do this." The long haired male declared shakily. A hand, his left, reached down to pluck one of the sidearms that this facility's guards was carrying along with an additional ammo clip or two. If he had to live through this nightmare a second time, then Llewellyn would rather do so as himself.

The loud crack of firearms discharge and dying cries filled the air as Llewellyn made his way closer towards the fight. The kunai Hitomi had given him earlier was put away in favor of using the pistol Llewellyn had pilfered from the guard's corpse. His hands closed around the gun the way Rin had shown Llewellyn the last time, allowing the very first shot he fired from the weapon to lodge itself in the throat of a young looking guard. The long haired male pretended to ignore the gurgling sounds the man made as he choked on his own blood, probably silently cursing Llewellyn as the light left his eyes. The blonde fired off a few more rounds to give his classmates some covering fire while they continued to combat the facility guards. Then, whenever he was able to, Llewellyn did his best to make his way over to any injured Meisters in order to make use of his unique "Healing" ability. They wouldn't seek to question why their wounds were miraculously vanishing while fighting for their lives. I need to avoid using my ability around Hitomi. Her mind should be on completing the mission, not my well being.

Black and red Akron blade still gleamed even as it crystalline surface was practically drenched in blood bits of viscera stuck to the spikes upon his weapon form. The beast at least was quiet rather content with the carnage duo had engaged in, the black tendrils having curled there way up Sozen’s arms, for it hardly needed to interfere with either of them to get exactly what it wanted. it was only once everyone was called back did it start gashing again they‘d stopped.. it led to even Akron grumbling if anything he was enjoying the peace and quiet. The gnashing only subsided when there was an explanation given, they’d found where this madness originated form and apparently where there classmates where being kept. Annoyance ever so mike turned to palatable anger weapon form almost vibrating in Sozen’s hands, if it where not for his partners wavelength Akron would have sunk deeper into blind rage, but that wasn’t the case.
Now they where thrown at the facility, Takeshi already being present as expected. The building itself simply screamed fresh meat weak little ants to be carved through by everyone here more souls for the taking, and another eye in the darkness. Elias blew up a hole in the facilities wall blowing any sort of cover not like Akron cared much for that anyway. What really struck the match of truly murderous intent was Takeshi snarled warning, eve if it wasn’t intended to directly address Akron it was still enough to cause Akron be utterly livid not shown on the outside but Sozen would certain be able to sense it.. “let’s shred the place and be done with it, lest we get in the oh so scary sword boys way”

Need a Medic!!!
lifeline___apex_legends_by_fi1cs_deflq8u-fullview-1.jpgThe battle in the nursery was a tough one for Grace, as the madness in the air continued its harsh grip on her. Despite her anti-demon wavelength in full effect she was surprised that wasn't feeling better. She may needs the help of someone with healing wavelength as well. However with Grace bring crippled by the madness, she held her own very well. Her quick thinking, and her attack patterns lead her to victory against the kishin. She was proud of just how strong her meister was. "Good job Grace. We'll get these kids outta her, then get you some help." She says after eating the soul. Fast forwarding the pair stood outside a large metal door, which lead to the location of Alice and Elvena. She was surprised that they actually managed to find them. She figured the reason Ikora called them back was to relay the bad news. Well, her sister did mention that Morika went missing as well. Now that one, Jazmin definitely thinks is dead somewhere. Though who knows, she may be here with Alice and Elvena.

Her meisters words brought her attention back from wandering off. "I'll get you some help. We can get through this together." She says as her meister struggled on. Everyone already made their way through the open door, leaving the pair behind. I need Hitomi or Gwen now. She thought to herself. With everything moving so fast, there was no time for her to call out for help, before they were sent off here. With all her strength, Grace zoomed through the hanger and live fire slicing and dicing her opponents. "Grace get to cover. I'm calling for help. We can't proceed on like this. It's too dangerous. " There was no telling what was beyond that door at the end of the hanger. But she knew, they both would need to be fully focused before anything bad happens. Once Grace managed to find some form of cover, Jazmin's head appeared and she screamed out, "Gwen! Hitomi!! We need you!" Her head then changes back allowing Grace to defend herself until help arrives. _Line 213 _Line 213 Z2010Deadmeat Z2010Deadmeat

Bloodbath 2
tumblr_40ac645400139903714d2b2e793fbb46_72ff1c97_1280.jpgThe battle against the blob ended a quickly as it due, all thanks to Lew's sacrifice. With the blob distracted, Hitomi came in and claimed the kishin's head as her own. It's body dispersed, with only its kishin egg to remain. After eating it and making sure Lew was okay, she made her way into their home. There was something she needed if this fight to protect the city was going to continue. She sprinted into her room and opened her closest. There was a case holding a weapon she brought back from Japan, a weapon known as a Kama. Growing up, this was her signature weapon she trained with since she could remember. A weapon she forged herself. Hearing Ikora's calls, she rushed back to the courtyard alongside of Lew. With the new information they received, a wave of hope flushed throughout her entire body. They have found them, no, Takeshi had found them. After being sent away, she was ready for whatever they may encounter, kunai and Kama in hand. Appearing before the metal door and Takeshi already on scene, she wanted to personally show her gratitude. However, from the looks in his eyes, and the madness coming from him, she knew that it would be a very bad idea to even step to him. An idea that Marcus obviously had no care for as he vocally thanked him. Takeshi's response only proven her assumption as correct. Even trying to use her healing wavelength on him, she knew he'll try and cut hr down with no hesitation. She simply hoped when this is said and down, they won't need to cut him down from falling to far down the rabbit hole.

The battle commenced as the doors boomed open and everyone made their decent. Blades in hand, she made sure to keep Lew saw and within her line of sight. She cleared an entire area off, slicing the soldiers down with her kama and kunai, showing no remorse. This battle reminded her all to well of the very first facility. She absorbed all the kishin eggs around her, as she took cover. She even took it upon herself to gather ammo for Lew, handing him magazines as she went back to check up on him. That was when she heard her name being called out. It was covered up a bit by the gun fire, however she could make out that someone needed her. "Be safe Lew, don't get shot." She says with a grin, before dashing off through the hanger. She then finds, Jazmin and Grace slaying soldiers; however, Grace was looking as if she was struggling. "Is everything okay?" Jazmin broke down the situation as quickly and precisely as she could. Hitomi simply nodded, and placed both her hands on Grace. Using her healing wavelength a bright golden light, emits from Hitomi as she begins calming the madness flowing within Grace. Once she was done, the light dies down, but enemies came swarming towards them. There was no time for her to see how she was feeling as she went right back into battle, taking a small flesh wound on her arm. _Line 213 _Line 213 RageFactorXIII RageFactorXIII

1636431801864.jpegOver the last few hours, Sozen had begun to push the envelope when it came to what he deemed "acceptable levels of madness". He'd straddled this line before, and he knew many of the tricks to do so successfully. Most importantly of all though, he knew when to stop pushing his luck and start playing it safe. However, something was different this time, and it wasn't exactly difficult to pinpoint why. Akron's so-called "curse" had proved to be a more significant factor than Sozen had initially expected, and it had subtly driven him to push the boundaries more and more. Upon realizing the situation as such, Sozen had begun to question whether or not his liberal use of madness under these circumstances had been the wrong choice to make. With much effort, he'd managed to pull himself back from the precipice, ripping his mind free of the cold madness that was threatening to overwhelm it. Until further notice, he resolved, he was going to play things completely safe. It might mean a larger struggle in the long run without the power granted by playing fast and loose with madness, but there was no point in acting so recklessly if it meant he'd end up a casualty himself before he could even accomplish anything.
Sozen was significantly impressed by Marcus and Elias’ display of absolutely leveling the enormous door of the facility. Perhaps he hadn’t been giving his fellow students enough credit after all. “We’re here to carry out a mission, as well as a rescue, don’t forget that,” Sozen replied slowly as Akron talked about shredding the facility. “And Takeshi won’t be a problem either; he’s focused entirely on Elvena. We stay clear of her, and we have nothing to worry about”.
After Takeshi had all but blown past everyone else once Marcus and Elias had taken care of the door, Sozen followed through into the facility along with the rest of the students. He wasted little time as he ran through the halls of the facility, efficiently cutting down any guards unfortunate enough to get in his path through the underground base. Without the doping effect of his madness from before, Sozen could feel the noticeable difference in his strength. Even without abusing his madness, however, his and Akron’s power was still proving to be more than adequate for the task at hand.

The Room
(No not "Oh hai Mark" The Room)

1636487944703.png1636487995654.png 1636488013243.png1636488036002.png

What came from the next room that Takeshi ( Exanis Exanis ) had been standing in front of, was a huge wave of madness that began to affect all the guards around them. Making them release screams of horror and pause their attacks before using different ways to remove their lives from the world they knew. The blood bath had only gotten worse as bodies crumpled to the ground and pools began to layer the floor. To many, it would be a horrific scene, but to the group of warriors, hopefully it was something they could stomach. After all, the world was cruel and who else was going to protect it? Upon entering the room where the Madness had been thick, there were many large pillars and the room itself was gigantic. Granted, plenty of places to move, plenty of places to hide, but also plenty of space for madness to settle in. It wasn't easy to see right down the middle, but if one were to move to the side a bit, they'd see a throne, decorated with velvet red in the middle of the far wall. A familiar figure sat upon it, while another familiar figure sat by their feet.

From the looks of it, after observing the sitting pair, another pair of figures could be spotted exiting the room off to the side. One bore a happy face mask with a cane, followed by a nice suit that made him seem fancy-like. Using Soul Perception on him would reveal that he was not a Kishin soul, but he was pretty darn close. In fact, he was very familiar to the original class. Somewhere in a...lab... As for the woman, she seemed elegant, gorgeous looking. Using soul perception on her was very suspicious because she appeared as a Human Soul. If anyone was fast enough, they could surely catch up...

1636488801674.png1636488810188.png

Though, the one upon the throne bore no weapons, while the one by the feet had bore three. A Sword, a Sniper, and a Pistol. It was clear that they had been waiting, considering they didn't budge after hearing the screams and especially didn't move after catching sight of the group. The one upon the throne had been covered in red tendrils of the sort, almost as if she had a plague running through her veins, clearing showing that something was taking over. For the one upon the bottom of the throne, she had yet to have those tendrils, though her weapons did have some sort of red markings upon them. It was apparent that the pair were not Kishins, in fact, they still had their original souls but something had taken them over; Madness. The woman within the throne had shifted within her seat, her hand lifting to her face while a grin began to form at the sight of Takeshi. "My heart and my soul, or is it … heart and sword, has finally come to rescue me." She said in a hushed voice that much resembled that of a child trying their best to tell someone a secret, those eyes dancing with the same mischievous tone that usually accompanied such a thing. ( Kyuubey Kyuubey )

1636489698701.png

A giggle left the other's lips as she bounced her foot a little bit, watching the group ( Rhodus Prime Rhodus Prime _Line 213 _Line 213 Huntertabbysandshark3 Huntertabbysandshark3 Jackaboi Jackaboi Z2010Deadmeat Z2010Deadmeat ) "If he arrived juuuust a little bit sooner..." golden hues shifted up to her partner before looking back at the group before them. " Hitomi, Lew, Look at you two. Looks like you've been through a lot without little ol' me." she tilted her head a little bit, her crown seemingly still attached to her head. Her own lips had been curled up into a grin as she looked along the group Look at them~ They're all here looking like heroes. Do they really think they could fight us in a Madness infested room like this? she thought while her other foot gently tapped upon the ground. "Say Lew, how's being a shield for that ice chick? I heard that you'd be honored to serve as her little shield. Yikes, talk about betrayal at its finest huh?" it was clear there was no remorse behind those words and she wanted to dig a knife as deep as she could. Slowly but surely she was itching for a fight but remained patient. ( RageFactorXIII RageFactorXIII The Elder The Elder )

It didn't take long for a blur to cross the blonde's vision, but she didn't make any movements to stop it. After all, there was really no threat at the current moment. To anyone though, the situation would look quite odd...

Before Camilla knew it, Ikora had already zapped the whole class to the entrance of their location. Apparently this place was where Alice and Elvena was being held? If that was the case she was incredibly worried about them. Right away she could get the smallest hint of madness wavelength seeping through the giant metal door that blocked their path. Wonderful isn't it? Camilla was taken aback by the sudden thought that popped into her head. Why would she think something like that? No that's right, it wasn't her. It was madness. Surfacing once again from within to fill her mind with negative thoughts and terrible reminders. Just ignore it. Ignore it and it will go away like always. But I never went away. You can't ignore me forever. I am you after all. Just the part you don't want others to see." She fought back the temptation to respond, knowing how little good it would do her right now. She will never accept this madness within her. Madness twists people into the monsters she fights now, so she will never ever accept harbouring the very same thing inside her soul. Just focus on the mission... She heard Nicho speak, trying to start things off on a positive note, even if was just words, it did actually help stem the tide a little. "Right! Having the right attitude is only the first step towards success of course." However despite that, there was still something oh so wrong that didn't sit right with the crimson haired girl. Yet she buried that feeling, assuming that was just the madness wavelength getting to her

Elias shouted for everyone to get back from the door. Slightly surprised she did as she was told without even thinking about it and watched as he repeatedly punched the doors in as hard as he could. Camilla gripped onto Gwen harder as she winced at Elias' pained attempts to destroy their obstacle. She knew that he was strong. Like REALLY strong. But wasn't he biting off more than he could chew here? Then even more to her surprise she noticed the door start to dent more and more until finally Elias threw his bloodied hand one last time at the door blasting it down for good. The madness within the bunker spilling out like a hull breach. As the wavelength hit her she could feel it's effect right away, even with Gwen's healing wavelength. Although madness did not yet threaten to take over. Instead it took form inside Gwen's weapon space. A girl with a similar shape to Cami however covered entirely in pitch black shadow and glowing yellow eyes, standing right behind the weapon with an outstreched smile as if taunting the weapon. However if Gwen were to feel it's chilling presence and turn around she would see nothing. Instead all there would be is a distorted voice of taunting doubt that would echo one single time through her weapon space.
"Can you really keep her safe?" Camilla was oblivious to this exchange, speaking up only to check on her partner. "Ready for this Gwen? I don't know what we're going to face in there and honestly I don't have a good feeling about it either. But no matter what happens we'll have each others back right?" After Marcus and Elias charged in, Takeshi decided to make one of the most threatening gestures he's made to his class yet. Stating he was capable of killing any one of them if he thought it necessary before running off ahead at top speed. Just what was his problem? Wasn't the enemy in the bunker? She had no clue why he was the way he was, but people have their reasons right? Right now wasn't the time to think about this, she'd just rather not have to be wary of her own classmates in such a situation as this.

People were filtering through one by one and she too followed them inside to brave the trials ahead. They all fought hard against the straggling kishin that were spared from Takeshi's initial onslaught. Even though they all retained human shape one check of soul perception would invalidate the fact they'd had any humanity left at all. All that was left was to put them out their misery. Camilla joined with the rest of her class in a large room filled with pillars, madness and death... It was a horrific sight. Bodies strewn the floor all the way up to the throne. The ones she spotted up there shocked Cami beyond belief.
"G-Gwen... Is... Is that...?" She couldn't even say it despite being so sure of the answer. Hoping that by some miracle she'd be wrong but that wasn't going to be the case. To the side another pair could be seen making a quick exit. A masked man and a woman. The lady she didn't know by the masked man was someone she knew all too well. She felt the urge to give chase... But... They've done something terrible to Alice and Elvena and she hesitated to leave them behind. She gritted her teeth, pledging to save her vengeance for a time where she and more importantly Gwen with her healing wavelength weren't more needed here right now. "Alice! What's happened to you!? What did the Phantom do to turn you this way!?" She shouted desperately, trying to get an answer as quick as she could.

Takeshi Mifune

Even as they screamed out their demand, Takeshi's eyes locked with Elvena, or was it Hime's? Nevertheless, their eyes found that of their partners, and an unguarded sense of relief washed throughout their body seeing them relatively unharmed and sitting imperiously on what they could only consider a throne. Still, that relief only lasted mere moments before the overwhelming rage surfaced once more at seeing the rest in the room. That one blonde was there, and they could all but smell the taint she was exuding, unrefined and uncontrolled as it was. Still, Takeshi held themselves back from simply lashing out and ending everyone in the room, for their priority was right in front of them, awaiting them, that much they knew. And thus it was with nary another sound that Takeshi closed the distance between them and their partners, a deft blur gleaming and dripping with blood, and the murderous intent to cut down anyone getting in their way flowing off of them like water down a waterfall, rushing, powerful, and extremely apparent.

And when Takeshi finally reached their partner, they simply stood there, gazing at them for a moment, taking in her appearance after long, long weeks of their absence. It induced an interesting feeling, a tidal wave of relief crashing against a typhoon of mindless, madness inducing rage. In the end, Takeshi decided to do away with all emotions, for they didn't matter in the slightest at this moment. With one hand still firmly gripping their sword, Takeshi took off their bloodstained jacket with the other, draping it over their partners frame gently before reaching out and bodily lifting her into their arms in a sort of bridal carry, their sword arm being used as support as well as held in such a way to defend themselves in necessary. Then Takeshi just stood there, glancing from side to side, as if looking for an exit, but seemingly ever so slightly confused. And indeed, after delving into such an animalistic state of mind to hunt down and recover their partner, and finally finding them had drawn Takeshi to a loss. They knew they needed to get out, to leave, to ensure the safety of the treasure, but how? Which way? What to do, where to go? Takeshi knew they could cut through the way they came in, but that would put their partners in unneccassary danger, but also because of how convoluted this whole situation became with the unexpected and unwanted presence of the rest of the DWMA, Takeshi didn't have any escape plans, or even another vehicle so as to get back to the bike. As Takeshi's thoughts began to jumble, they stopped, cleared their mind as best they could given their current state, looked down at the partner in their arms and let out a low, questioning sound.

The Big, The Bad, and The Ugly
3f97724eb62372b619daa5f0c1d69850.jpgAs Marcus took cover behind a truck, he took the time to focus on his classmates making sure everyone was getting through the room safely. The room was starting to fill up with kishin eggs everywhere. He secretly wished he could actually bag them all up and hand deliver them to Elgin himself. He turns his attention towards the door at the end of the hanger, where Takeshi stood. It was expected of him to clear his way through in no time flat. He hd complete tunnel vision only focusing on Elvy's presence and no one else. When he opened the door, a flood of madness wavelength instantly rushed through. This wavelength was madness of fear, and felt very much like Elvy's. The rush of madness completely caught Marcus off guard, causing him to succumb to it whether he knew this or not. After seeing that Takeshi made it through, he stepped out from behind cover planning on following behind him. However, he stopped the moment he felt something wrong with his body. The screams from the soldiers muffled to Marcus ears, he focused on his hands, as the skin started peeling away layer by layer. The sight widened the meisters eyes in disbelief as his arm started to peel away as if to the bone. He let out horrific scream shock by the sight, dropping his weapon. The wavelength was playing tricks on the meister, as he started to enter a panic like state. MARRRRCCCUUUUUUSSSS!! Anti-Marcus' voice boomed throughout his head. The hell do you think you're doing Marki Mark?!?! "My hands....my body... its...itss" It's nothing!!! You're seeing things my guy. It's the wavelength. You practiced against it with Elvy plenty of times. You know how to get out of this. NOW DO IT! "You're right. This...this isn't real." Marcus closed his eyes, as he began focusing on his sense of self. Once he snapped his eyes open, he was released from the hallucination. He dropped to a knee, placing his hand on Elias' hilt. "I'm back Eli. Your sister's wavelength caught me off guard." Anti-Me, you helped me. Why?? Why? Cause I ain't finna have no one else mess with your mind the fuck. Hell you think this is. I wanna see your downfall, but by my hands, not someone else's. Well, I preciate it. Good, now go jump off a bridge. No.

Grabbing Elias, Marcus stood up and rushed towards the door. It didn't even fully register to him that all the shooting had ceased. He stood in the next room, eyes focus in on Elvy, Alice and Takeshi. Elias' sister was secured, causing Marcus to release a sigh of relief for the both of them. Only thing next was Alice, and the ones trying to leave. Marcus eyes focused in on the masked man and the human who was with him. The grip on Elias' tightened as he thought about finishing him off before he even kills the human. He glances over at Cami and everyone else who stood along with them. They needed a plan of action. "Everyone! It's safe to say shit is already starting to hit the fan. By the looks of Alice's soul, ain't much reasoning we can do right now. Plus we got another issue to worry about as well. The masked man, the one responsible for all this, is close to turning full kishin. My guess is, he eats 1 or more human soul and it's all over. With Takeshi holding Elvy, this job just got a bit easier. Difficult, but a bit easier. We're gonna split up into two squads." He says holding up the number two. "The first squad, you're tasked with detaining and bringing Alice back to the light. Do what you must, just don't kill her or get killed yourself. The ones on squad 1 will be Cami, Hitomi, Kade, Lew, and Nicho. Refrain from getting anywhere near Elvy or Takeshi. The second team will be tasked with going after the masked man and killing him once and for all. That team will be Sozen, Grace, and myself. Once all that's done, we'll report back to Lord Death and go home. Don't no one die!!" He says giving everyone a stern look. "Now squad 2, let's go kill a masked man."

Marcus took off running through the pillar filled room. He started to pick up speed, and begin jumping from pillar to pillar while using Elias to build his momentum. As he come upon the door, Marcus swung Elias having him collide with the door blowing it open just because. He entered another room very spacious with plenty room to fight. Before them was a platform with two levels. On the first level stood the woman in the lab coat, while on the second was the masked man. "Sozen, Grace, handle the masked man, while I get the woman to safety. I'll join you once I'm done." Leaping from where he stood, he lands in front of the woman. "Are you okay ma'am?"

As Sozen and Grace went towards the Masked Man, they will see him simply standing there with a cane in his hand. They would feel the strength of his soul as it stands on par with that of Armstrong. His soul itself was giant double the size of Sozen's and Grace's combined. It was maroon and dawn a mask as well. "Well well children. I'm glad you came all this way to play. are you ready to end up just like your DWMA comrades. I can alway use more pawns for my chessboard." He says with psycho like laugh, as he presses a button on his cane and lifts the handle, revealing the sword attached to it. In one hand was the sword and in his other was the sheath. "Come on now. Let's play"

everything had been going fairly well when everyone going through the facility listening to Gabriels annoyed ramblings on the topic of what the actual hell they were doing. opponents around them being hit left and right by searing white energy blasts striking them before they were cut down by Gabriels axe form, Nicholai using the momentum of the swing to keep going augmenting the male's Agility further than it already was tails flicking behind him in the fluffy white cloud of murder. "ill be honest my friend iv no clue no plan here at all" Nicho commented cleaving through another target. as everyone made there way towards another room with its rolling waves of madness... for now it didn't really do much for Nicholai but he could have sworn he heard a blade being sharpened.

he stared forward seeing Elvena and Alice along with others it was then everything became suddenly silent only the sound of a blade striking the ground could be heard by Nicholai his ears flatting against his head as the Russian cringed hard.. tails all drooping down no longer wagging.. everything moved by in the blur he hardly heard what anyone actually said valugly hearing what Marcus plan was.. something something .. alice? doing hurt her too much "errr.. ok. go-got it.. anyone.. err else hear.. that noise?" he'd ask worriedly through confirming he understood the plan mostly. "so err how we doing this? can zap her bit but err we are very ki-" Nicholai was cut off as form the corner of his eye he could see something.. a glint of a blade.. it sent a shiver down his spine the red colour of it being something practically burned into Nicholai's mind thanks to fear of that.. one day. "Alina WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE" Nicholai turned around not seeing anything there.. but he was SURE there was something..

the sound was behind him again ears twisting around and tails flicking as Nicho turned again the Madness getting to him now.. his expression dropping to one of abject terror as he could see a girl standing in front of him large axe over her shoulder a red uniform similar to Nicholai's. "didn't expect to see me again did you monster?, i won't let you trick me again" they'd reply with venom in their voice.. "no you-- can't be.. here.. no... YOUR NOT REAL" Nicholai yelled at them but in reality, he just whimpers a little bit turning around to try and just ignore "alina" they where just a hallucination right?

Grace Amadeus Fugue
Death City Streets --> Hidden Bunker
Interacting with: Jazmin / Hitomi ( The Elder The Elder ), Sozen ( Rhodus Prime Rhodus Prime ), The EAT Class

Grace didn't reach cover so much as she slumped into it, the constant delirium caused by the tug-of-war in her mind momentarily forcing her into a state of inaction as she did all she could to simply stay upright. Even as not one, but two of her fellow students, did their best to stabilize her, Grace's breathing remained labored, her eyes lidded and downcast as she slumped against corner-cover near the edge of the room. "...This...this shouldn't take two people," she muttered, her knees momentarily threatening to buckle as healing and anti-madness intertwined around her. Even once Hitomi and Jazmin had finished their work, Grace remained momentarily unresponsive, only snapping back to her senses once the renewed sound of live fire impacted against her cover.

Her vision, focused, reached out instinctively for her partner, gripping Jazmin tightly with both hands as the rest of the class cleaned up the remainder of the guard. For several moments, Grace took a few moments to simply breathe, focusing on the cadence of her own inward and outward motions. For a moment, despite the chaos taking place throughout the room, Grace's small pocket of it felt strangely calm, the meister herself having taken on the air of a musician calming themselves before their appearance on-stage; perhaps it was a mental space Grace knew all too well.

As the shooting stopped, Grace dipped out from behind cover, following several of the quicker students over to the other side of the room. Sliding to a stop, she intensified her grip on her partner, remaining entirely silent as Marcus laid out the battle plan. Even as he spoke, her eyes remained locked on the faraway students, as if convinced they could suddenly appear in front of them all at any moment.

Jazmin and Hitomi just gave me everything they had, and I can already feel my mind slipping again, Grace thought to herself, her hand unknowingly trembling. Her distracted state was clear, taking several moments before she followed off alongside the group she had been assigned to. "So few of us for a single target might not be the best...idea," she commented, sliding to a stop as she realized their group was going to grow even smaller with Marcus's departure.

Grace clenched her jaw. I'm not going to last long like this, she thought, her hand's tremor momentarily intensifying. She closed her eyes for another moment, before reaching into her pocket. Quickly, she pulled free her headphones, slipping them over her head with a single hand. "Jazmin, I'm sacrificing situational awareness for focus," she said, taking in a deep breath, "so I'll need you to keep an eye out." With that, she carefully advanced alongside Sozen, her eyes maintaining a flat, emotionless glare on the man in front of her. Though his words reached her, the threat barely registered. "Sozen. Take the right side," she said, not even waiting for a reply as she quickly darted off to the left. In an instant, she had disappeared behind the pillars, taking the long way around through the concrete forest.

"Remember what I said. It'll be hard, since I'm not gonna stop swinging," Grace said, taking the brief moment of wall-to-wall silence to talk to her partner one last time, "I'll need you to keep your wavelength up too. It's a lot to ask. I'm sorry. I won't make it out of here in one piece otherwise." It was only a matter of time until Grace's flank came to a close, the meister bouncing off of a wall at top speed. For a brief moment, as the guitars momentarily disappeared and voice filled the empty space, she closed her eyes, focusing one last time before opening them again, bringing Jazmin's scythe form to bear in a single, heavy swing that coincided with the crashing reentry of the instrumentation.

Eyes partly lidded in trance-like concentration, Grace maintained her partner's momentum, swinging her around in a whirling, staff-like deflection as she herself spun, adding her own arc to Jazmin's as she doubled her power for a secondary swing.

Despite her controlled demeanor, Grace's tactic was nothing other than outright aggression. Jazmin doubled back again and again, spun more like a staff or a ball-and-chain than a scythe as she forced the swordsman to work for his defense. Despite theoretically having the advantage in reach, the small-statured meister elected only to use half of Jazmin's range, attacking with both the bladed and blunted ends of her partner as sparks flew from the masked man's sword. Like everything the meister excelled in, there was a rhythm to her motions, carefully constructed, carefully executed, yet at the same time open and flowing, subject to changes both minute and drastic with nary a beat of warning to prime the unaware, a slew of coupled circles and arcs, each rhyming with one-another.

The masked man shoved Jazmin's blade aside, yet Grace transitioned seamlessly onto the defensive with practically no change in her tactics or her motions, taking step after backward step in tandem with a rising piano. Her staff-like arcs parried and shifted each of the masked man's ripostes, her expression seemingly one of boredom or complete absence; anyone tuned into her wavelength, however, knew that her mind was anything but. Her defensive motions mimicked the flourishes of the music as it built to a crescendo. Yet, as Grace moved to parry another blow from the man's weapon, he shifted inward, landing a strong blow against her jaw with his fist. Teeth grit, Grace went flying, righting herself in the air as she skidded to a stop.

"Still in this..." she thought to herself, reaching a palm up to wipe some blood from her mouth. "Keep them busy..."

Grace waited, eyes widened slightly as the masked man closed the distance to press his advantage. To the unexperienced, an expression of nervousness; to those who had trained their eyes on her spar with Marcus, a marker of Grace's seemingly-inhuman patience recognizing its own fruition. She reached out, preparing to block his strike with the scythe--a move the masked man no doubt saw coming, then--

"...Switching."

In the blink of an eye, she had shifted to the side, turning her block into a dodge, and the scythe into a sword as the weapon's own rearrangement executed the perfect feint for her. With the rolls of the guitar solo, she immediately pressed her own advantage, shifting the odds into her favor again in less than a second as she forced the battle into a game of sword-against-sword, her heavier, broader blade possessing the clear power advantage. Blow by blow, she tore away his guard, before forcing him back with a shove of the weapon's broad side. As he dashed back, she chased after him, slamming Jazmin into the ground as she used the sword as a vaulting pole, arcing an axe-kick down toward the man in a single, swift stun.

"Sozen!" she called, backing out as she flicked Jazmin's trick-lever, shifting her partner back into her scythe-form as she prepared herself for another opening.

Elvena/Hime Stein

__specter_arknights_drawn_by_myluche__sample-f98f5798444181bb0fe376357b0dbb1f.jpg

Normally one to love the finer details, to want to jot down every happening around her, at the moment all of that was omitted. None of it mattered, nor was it being registered within Hime's mind. There was only one face that remained unblurred from the rest, his voice and expression screaming loud enough to drown out the events of the room. It was this person that she honed in on, soul and arms working as one to reach out for him. They didn’t remain empty for long, the Stein’s lithe frame being lifted with a care that was the starkest contrast to the macabre waves rippling off of him. Those arms fastened themselves around his body, hanging loosely off his shoulders. Her face followed suit, burying itself into the curve of his neck. It almost appeared like a child trying to hide from the world, finding solace and safe harbor in the one person they deemed as their protector. They stayed like that for a few moments, the turmoil within Takeshi being felt within her own soul, their connection making it futile to obscure any emotions. This knowledge made her hold him closer, trying to offer both of them a semblance of reassurance; the man and the dragon. As he became vocal, the noise vibrating across her cheek as it travelled through his throat, she finally broke away. A small smile was spread, those carmine eyes travelling up to settle on Takeshi’s, that smile widening as she caught her reflection within the darkening gold storm occurring around his pupils.

I told them you both would come. Nobody seemed to believe me. “ She murmured, lifting a hand to let those corpse cold fingers trail along the curvatures of his face, tracing them as if to memory. “ I know you're itching to leave and we will. But can we stay for a while longer and watch everything unfold? I didn’t endure all of this to not be present for the climax of this particular show. And Elvena needs to rest, I don’t think it would be wise to wake her. “ Hime insisted, both hands having moved while she spoke to cup both of his cheeks delicately. “ I’m sure Ryu would find it enjoyable too, so can we? “ She exclaimed, somehow eluding an unrivaled excitement that manifested into a whisper of sorts. " Don't make me beg, that would be unsettling. " Hime’s attention was stolen by the students calling things out, the realization, horror, and confusion on all of their faces tickling her fancy. She let out a childish laugh, hand naturally dropping towards her lips in means to stifle it. With each laugh that bubbled forth, a wave of madness also followed, filling the room with more of its suffocating influence.

“ Oh, Camilla… “ Hime’s tone actually sounded concerned as she addressed the other meister. “ I think she did this to herself. Did you know that she helped them torture Elvena? I wouldn’t be so confident as to think words are going to do much to sway her if she’s not above hurting her own classmate. She’s here of her own accord, much to my own surprise too. If she actually posed a threat to Elvena I would’ve killed her myself, as self defense of course, to keep us alive but she’s proving to be quite fun to play with. “ Hime hummed a ghastly tune, much like one that could be found trying to incite fear, as if her wavelength wasn’t already providing that. “ Speaking of fun, it looks like Nicho over there is getting his fill. “ Her gaze slid over to the kitsune boy, a mischievous look dancing about them and taking the scene in with a twisted glee. It was almost as if she was thirsting for more, her frame shaking every so often within Takeshi’s grasp from the overflowing of joy that was racking it. " I don't plan on fighting any of you, I'm quite content where I am, but I believe 'Alice' is keen on doing so. " Hime added, eyes so wide and full of life that it resembled a child staring in awe at something magnificent.

As she peered around to soak in every face around the room, her nails had absentmindedly been digging into her palms, so roughly that an ebony liquid began to trail along her wrists and arms, tiny obsidian rivers that flowed along the porcelain that was her skin. “ Just in case any of them are brazen enough to attack us, I'll have to skewer them. Though I highly doubt any of them have a death wish. You’ve both done so much fighting to get to me and now you must rest. Plus I’d hate if you had to let me go. I don’t want us to be separated ever again. “ A genuinely endearing smile was flashed towards Takeshi, solidifying that they were the sole receivers of the love they managed to cultivate over time. An impeccable feat that had not been easy by any means yet somehow they’d succeeded without even putting in effort to garner such results. For once, Elvena had been the experiment and not the scientist, the mad architect, performing them. How strange.

The woman was fully prepared for what was going to come in her direction. Especially after using as many pawns as she had, it seemed that perhaps she had too many pawns than she could count and keep track of. But there was no harm in that, after all, she was going to have a great time slapping down some children who think they're Heroes. After leaving the room with her masked companion, she spoke in a soft but elegant tone "My pawns should be able to handle those children. After all, they are boosted with plenty of madness." walking alongside her partner, they began to move toward the other door to get into another part of the facility to continue on with their plans. "Death city is at its knees from what I've heard. The drug that was distributed was perfectly crafted by the one and only: Elvena Stein. What a wonderful girl she is." before the witch could speak any further, the door behind them was blown, debris flying everywhere and smoke blocking the entrance.

Looking to her side, she noticed the Masked Man had moved, giving her a layer of the room for herself. Surely he was prepared just as I. This is why he is my right hand man in all of this. her pink gems shifted to the man who landed in front of her, then slowly along the weapon that was in his hands. Despite her partner's fight starting, she still had yet to start her own. "It's very sweet that you'd check up on me in this situation." she couldn't help the smile tugging her lips "But I'm afraid I am in no need of saving, dear boy." lifting her chin a little bit, magic began to swirl around her in a black smoke, the power from it growing as it swirled around her and winds getting strong. As she remained in her position, her soul protect was removed and the black smoke grew thicker before suddenly dispersing into Ravens. Now stood before the pair was the witch in her true form, those gold locks still silky smooth as before, but now she had pointed ears, an elegant dress, and even some facial features that made it almost seem like she was wearing add-ons on her face. But they were indeed part of her skin.

"In fact, you'll both need someone to save you." once she was done with these little students, she was going to continue what someone could not finish. As a witch of her nature, she wasn't one to talk much and in fact, waited for her opponent to pounce first. If she just spoke her life away, she'd be wasting energy that she could be using in her fight. Her hand lifted and a red-tint of magic came from her fingers as she swirled them around, ready for what was to come. "Let's see what fight you have in you, young one." from below her, she could hear the laughing from her partner, knowing very well that he seemed to be toying with the students against him. I'm quite surprised that these children haven't gone completely mad yet. That room was thick with Madness... Hmm... More testing I'll have to do before I start the next Phase. The witch wasn't surprised if the concentration had to be increased for the new generation. But luckily enough, the average human was the more dominant race.

Elias Stein

5f68f0021cd0465f2104f9471892c97f.jpg
The moment they’d entered the boss room, that’s what it felt like anyways, he became hauntingly quiet. He wasn’t sure what to categorize the more foreign emotions that were stirring within him as. Alice and Elvena, no longer missing. There they were, unscathed for the most part, sitting across the room from them. They’d been waiting, Elias realized. With this information it was even harder to understand what the hell was going on but he was aware of the relief that washed over him so quickly it was like blowing out a candle. Instantaneous. His whole mental self that had been walking the line, teetering towards falling into a bottomless abyss, that string attached to him that dared to pull him over, had now been severed. He was free. He could physically breathe. Elvena was safe, at least, enough to offer him some sort of comfort, something he found difficulty finding in the world. The beast within him that watched with animalistic eyes began to lowly growl, the noise itself reverberating along the length of his blade. It was only silenced, quite abruptly, as he watched Takeshi get to Elvena at an impressive speed and scoop her up. That desire to protect was quelled with the knowledge that she was safer than anywhere else in the swordsman’s arms. Elias’s gaze turned deadly as they slid down to peer at Alice’s face. He listened to the words coming from the mouth of his ‘sister’ and quickly deduced it was Hime speaking to the group, not Elvy. Not that that fact changed anything for him. Upon hearing Alice had helped in the torture Elvena had to endure, Elias resisted the urge to bash her face in, a feeling which was steadily rising. She was registering as less friend and more foe the longer he stared at her. Something else succeeded in prying his attention off the meister, a new sensation that something wasn’t quite right with his own.

Marcus! “ He echoed within his soul space, those deep red eyes shining like beacons as they stared through the side of the sword that had clattered to the ground. He grimaced, trying to decide if he should come out of weapon form to help his meister or if Marcus would find a way to overcome whatever horrors may have been plaguing his mind and twisting his sense of reality. Marcus was strong willed, one of the more resilient ones, and he wanted to offer him the chance to conquer this on his own, without his aid. To show him that trust and faith he’d placed in him wasn’t a farce or just for show. He continued to watch, eyes starting to narrow the longer each clock hand ticked by in his own head, the seconds becoming part of a countdown. Then, without warning, his partner’s scream filled the air and Elias’s expression turned grim, hands slipping out of their nestled place within his jeans as he began to go through the motions of changing back. That particular notion was halted though as he felt a familiar grasp upon his hilt, his face once again turning to peer at the more composed Marcus. “ Glad to have you back. Don’t fucking drop me again. “ He added on, his bittersweet words showing his true colors. Elias cared, it just wasn’t made known often, and he was always quick to overshadow it with a snarky remark.

He would’ve argued against leaving his sister but another glance towards Takeshi reassured him that it was under control. The desire to hurt the fuckers who dared to lay a finger on Elvena was proving to be more crucial, lest they get away with their unacceptable and unforgivable bullshit. Marcus seemed to share this sentiment as they began to follow and chase down the two beings that had left in quite the hurry. Without the ability to use soul perception, Elias couldn’t really get a read on the woman but as Marcus hopped over to her his senses began to go haywire. He wasn’t getting any victim vibes and there was certainly something more sinister at play. Never judge a book by its cover, isn't that what they always said? “ Marcus… “ Elias began in a warning filled tone, trailing off before he could continue as the woman removed her soul protect that had been so cowardly hiding the true nature of her soul from everyone. Even he could feel the power that had just been released. It was almost suffocating but for some reason even just experiencing being in the presence of a witch was exhilarating. Elias was riding a new high now with this imminent threat lingering before them.

You drew a bad hand, witch. “ He let the last word roll lazily off his tongue, that Stein-like gaze bearing through visibly from the side of his weapon form. “ Your soul is going to taste fucking phenomonal. “ A sneer crossed his features, face contorting to appear more manic, while those hands started rising towards the sky. “ Brilliant, brilliant. You just have to die! “ Elias sang out, cackling as one eye appeared to be bigger than the other, those pupils vibrating erratically. He slammed his bloodied fist into the palm of his other hand and his entire soul space shook as if an earthquake had rippled through it, when in reality a series of explosions had reduced whatever had been left standing into rubble. “ You heard the lady, she wants to see what we’re made of. We’ve been training and preparing for this shit. We promised we wouldn’t stop until we reached the top. “ He spoke to Marcus in a level tone, whiplashing drastically from the bout of mania that had just surfaced. He was rubber banding now, the insanity starting to play tug o’ war with him and he genuinely had no clue how much longer he’d remain stable with all the influences mixing together that had come into the equation. The clash of the ongoing fight below involving the masked man, Grace and Jazmin, Sozen and Akron, slowly reached his ears and simply aided in amping him up even further, strengthening his focus tenfold. “ Sounds like our classmates are taking it to the next level. Let’s do this, Marcus!

"hmm.. fair enough.. Sozen.. just.. get this over with.." Akron mumbled in his weapon form as they moved on deeper into the facility easily carving through anything or anyone unfortunate enough to get between them and their target. once they did reach the strange rolling madness room seeing his best friend. it only served to keep the fire of his current rage burning, she was wrapped up in her own madness... again forced into this.. yet no clowns this time it really didn't matter Akron was resolute in his wish to make whatever entities had been causing this suffer slowly, even the beast clicked in agreement. at least Takeshi had Elvy now.. that at least calmed him a little, of the had to fight Elvy Akron wouldn't know what to do with himself..

their where words spoken on the outside but whatever they where it meant very little to Akron the almost perfectly blankness of his weapon space occasionally interrupted by something trying to form amongst the blistering whitness every time the blackish mass started to form and charge towards the strange glassy image of Sozen standing infront of Akron the best would lauch off Akron's shoulder ripping the weak entities to ribbons for in here it was the far stronger pressense thanks to the light provided by Sozen. "MINE MINE MINE MINE" the beast growled one of its few words this anger leaked though the pairs connection.

the next time Akron looked outwardly they where going after they where chasing after the masked man that was there, this pleased the weapon somewhat at least one of the creatures would answer for there crime at least Akron could help.. somewhat, even if it wasn't directly. ever since that day where she'd saved he'd always felt that he was in debt to elvy in a way, she'd saved him once but now was at least a small chance to do something to repay that. the masked man's taughting was met by an annoyed Growl form akron weapon form practically shimmering in Sozen's hands. "OH SHUT IT AND DIE"
