Elias Stein

c8d42a5720b69974fd659ff64194b691.jpg
The sun sprayed strands of Elias's hair seemed diluted more than normal, as if the life had been drained from every aspect of his being. Those eyes were another story, deeper in color and holding a more animalistic tone, the gaze of a starved predator. He was watching everyone, everything, honed in on the tiniest details that most would miss. He was searching. Always searching. For weeks, he hadn’t slept and it showed on his features. He’d become more of a lone wolf, his black blood demon having surfaced during that time. A time that seemed to drag on and on, the days melting into one long never ending day. As Ikora pulled them out into the courtyard, getting ready to speak about the situation they’d been faced with, Elias gave her his full undivided attention. When the wavelength below erupted like an explosion, he felt a slight pull, but like oil to water it didn’t mix. When the screams began, he continued to stare straight ahead at the woman, listening intently to her words. Ever since he’d let his black blood demon off its leash, unable to contain the beast within due to the explosive bouts of anger and despair he’d been wracked with at hearing his twin sister was missing, the demon itself had kept him in check. Elias became hyper focused on the hunt. He had little care for anyone outside of his ‘pack’ of people who imprinted on him and a growing chagrin for the lack of answers all the teacher’s had.

Once she signaled them to get moving, he carefully aligned himself next to Gwen and Hitomi, refusing to make eye contact with either of them as he addressed them. “ I’ve got my shit under control but if you use your wavelengths on me, I won’t anymore. That’s not a threat, it’s a certainty. So try to stay the hell away from me. “ He said dryly, knowing the lack of emotion behind his words no longer startled anyone. They’d all watched him decline over the last couple weeks, a steady but sure process. He’d become obsessed with trying to find his sister, even spending days at a time in her lab trying to figure out what the hell could have happened to her, or why. Zero results had come to fruition which only irritated him more. He walked past Rin, only giving her a small look of acknowledgement, never wanting to gaze at her for too long lest she see the cracks in his sanity starting to show. Could she see the wolf staring back at her? He didn’t know and he didn’t want to frighten her if she became unable to recognize the person who was supposed to make her feel safe.

I don’t have time for this shit. “ He exclaimed towards Marcus before he moved towards the top of the stairs, hands still shoved into his pockets. An explosion sent him flying off from the courtyard of the DWMA, hair rippling about wildly as his hands slowly appeared from where they’d been nestled. He landed in one of the alleyways below, another burst being heard to make his airborne to ground transition flawless. His palms were scuffed but he dusted them off slowly, removing the debris that had freckled his skin like confetti. A hand rose to allow his fingers to comb through his hair, hues darting to the side as he felt motion behind him. A group of thugs were already on the prowl, tormenting someone in the narrow passage he’d found himself in. This only pleased him because he knew they’d have nowhere to run off to. A fist met the face of one of them, sending them flying into a nearby wall before he turned and grabbed the back of another’s head, slamming it down into the ground with a very surprisingly tactful amount of pressure to cause them to fall unconscious. The other in the trio was disposed of just as quickly, without being fatal, before Elias continued moving throughout the city, using his abilities to keep him speeding through the snaking and twisting paths of Death City. A big but isolated blast could be seen every now and then from different areas, unconscious bodies being discarded carelessly behind him, the only remnants that signaled he'd been there.

He stopped at one of the cross roads, feeling a much more potent wavelength that sent his instincts for danger on high alert. Slowly those crimson eyes rose, landing on the twisted face of a kishin prowling in the lower parts of the town. Its tongue was serrated, flailing about like an active whip as its head began to rotate clockwise to complete a full circle before it went still. He took a big whiff of the air around them and his gaze hardened, jaw locking. “ Another dead end, you don’t smell like who took her. “ He spoke through grit teeth, canines flashing as he lunged forward and grabbed onto the monster’s head, those knuckles immediately paling from the strength behind his grasp. “ Useless. Fucking useless. “ He continued, staring deep into the eyes of the being who had gone astray as he tightened his grip on their face that he could feel trying to rotate or wriggle out of his grasp. But it was riddled deep with a madness that it could never be saved from, even as it seemed almost human with its visible panicking when the kishin felt the threat that Elias really posed. That was the natural desire to stay alive, regardless of what it had become. It was a moments breath away from death and it knew it, one could see it in its eyes. “ Consider this a mercy. “ The head exploded suddenly, the body combusting too, which caused bits and pieces of its flesh to scatter about the immediate area around Elias along with the Stein himself. His skin was splattered with its warm blood, those eyes swirling about as they matched the color of the liquid dripping down his face. A small smile spread but it was ghastly, fleeting in essence, and was only there for a second before it disappeared entirely. He reached out, his hold more gentle this time as he devoured the soul in front of him, licking his lips casually. That marked 99 souls.

Akron

something take far away
the question is what will stay?
will they find what it takes

or will the time tick down as each of them breaks
Akron had seemingly returned to his previous quiet insular state ever since Elvy had disappeared Akron had spent any spare time he had when to training with Sozen to look for his best friend, with Takeshi having been left behind it was clearly not something she‘d not intentionally gone and done, even dragging Nicholai along a few times hoping that by some means the fox-like miester would actually somehow attract her.. yet after almost three weeks of searching there was no sign of his friend, resulting in his current state of statue-like silence at almost all times having rarely spoken or slept or even taken off his armour.

So when they were all gathered in the courtyard Akron stood dead still gaze fixed upon Ikora. at the moment he’d rather be doing something else entirely only for the sudden burst of madness washed over the city all of them Akron’s instantly recalled the clowns and what they had done… done with.. elvy… where they back again? or was it something else? He didn’t have much time to continue this line of thought, for the beasts Gnashed and chomped inside, armour that covered the huge male rattled and clinked, his muscles shaking barely able to control the violent outburst that could erupt at any moment, not helped at all by his current sour mood, nor bloodline.

The spotlight flickered crimson red Akron standing in the centre, yet the beast of black and red was nowhere to be found instead it’s eyes 80 or so were all floating around in the soupy pitch black an even deeper shade of red, blinking and shifting around all gazing at Akron who frantically tried to remain staring at as many as possible, even then the edges of the light seemed to have almost teeth… as if the male was already in the maw of his own madness. All around from the abyss the hummed tune played not like it normally did though, normal it was a clear and clean call for bloodshed elegantly brutal. But this time to skipped beats jagged and rough there was no elegant brutality just a mindless mess call for violence. No matter how frantically he tried Akron could feel the slipping the light so red now dimming. He’d eventually just let out a pained sigh. Sitting down in the centre, Akron hummed the tune properly without skips or breaks, it seemed to help, for now.

The twitching halted Akron humming softly to himself as he tried to avoid focusing on anything that might induce further anger within him, a task much easier said then done. His only safe bet now was to remain within Sozen’s grasp. Turning to his miester Akron would give a small nod. “There is work to do” he’d stated softly. Before transforming fully into a great blackish crystalline spiked axe in Sozen’s hands, it was up to him now.

Darkness Rises
1634576403159.png Who knew that after a great vacation trip things were gonna make a huge turn for the worst? Marcus did, he felt that once their happy little vacation came to an end shit was gonna hit the fan. He just didn’t expect it to end up like this. Alice and Elvy are missing, and not a single high star meister/weapon knows anything. For weeks he's keeping an eye on Elias, trying his best to keep from falling off the deep end. The madness wolf within him has him going on a constant never ending hunt. His hyper focus, kept him quiet and hella distant from everyone not in his pack. With all the stress from keeping up with Elias, and not hearing any news from anyone has been driving him crazy. On the outside he's simply quiet, distant and stand-offish; however, on the inside his bottling up all his anger and frustration into a mental container. Hitomi's tried telling him that if he doesn't find some sort of out, that container would just keep getting filled until he just explodes. Crazy thing is, he no longer had an out/ stress reliever. Music no longer helped, training alone simply made him even more frustrated. All he could do was just sit in his room and blast music hoping it'll fix him even though he knew it wouldn't. There's even nights when Marcus finds himself unable to sleep, due to the voice in his dreams. Marcus stood amongst the class with his hood on his head, listening to whatever Ikora was about to say. For some reason, she thought bringing them out here was a good for them. That is until, the madness wavelength hit.

The wave filled the enter city, filling everyone with chaos. As Marcus felt the wavelength enter him, his eyes widened as he tried resisting the pull of the wavelength. Immediately he ruled out the possibility of it being Elvy's wavelength. From all their training, he knew exactly how her madness would affect someone, and chaos wasn't it. Gaining his sense of self back, he snapped his heads towards his partners who were okay...in a sense. Hearing Ikora's orders, he was planning on taking both of his partners and help the city; however, Elias had other plans. He spoke to Marcus then right after, blasted off towards the city. Using his soul perception, he locked onto his soul and turned to Elgin. The look on Elgin's faced caused Marcus to stop whatever he was going to say. There was nothing but concern filling his very body. "Elgin go to Winry. I'll catch up with you soon. I know you'll be able to protect her." He managed to say, before his other partner left without a word. Focusing back onto the situation he ran towards the top of the stairs before stopping. He felt a pull on his heart, as he glanced back looking at Rue as she left. There was no telling when he was gone see her again, though all he could do was hope she returns safely. Facing the city once more, he pinpointed Elias' location and launches himself off the steps using his soul force through his feet.

Soaring through the air he heard the screams and chaos nearby. He lands at the bottom of the stairs and crouches down. He uses his soul perception getting a full scale sweep of the area in front of him. There were many human souls in distress and enraged, and there were just as many kishin eggs causing trouble. "What you looking for Marki Mark?" A voice all too familiar echoed in his head. A voice of the one who likes to keep him up t night. "You already know Alice and Elvy isn't here right? You wasted weeks searching. Shit they're probably dead." "No, no,no,no,no. This...this isn't happening right now. I know for a fact I'm not sleeping. WHY ARE YOU HERE?!?!?" He yells aloud, leaping into the air again with his soul force. He lands near a building where a fight has broken out between thugs and the home owners. "Oh you know, just hanging out wanting to chat with you. This chaos wavelength has made it possible for me to become a bit more dormant. You know after you locked me away while you was in those pods." The voice says Marcus as he's already in mid fight, knocking both the thugs and home owners out. Hearing that from the voice, only made Marcus even more frustrated. "There's no point in trying to stay calm. That little jar of yours is already cracking. If you want me to break it just say that. There's no point in trying to fill something that's already filled." "Shut up, SHut up, SHUt up, SHUT up, SHUT UP!!!" He yelled as a punched a thug who tried attack him with his soul force. That attack sent the thug through sheetrock definitely injuring but not killing him. "Seee now was that really necessary. You could've killed him you know. I bet that made you feel good though. Your glass got a little empty. Why not do it some more? Maybe do it to yourself as punishment for not finding Elvena or that Alice girl. Because at this point it's pretty sad. Not only you can't find her, but her brother can't, her partner can't, and Ikora's not even looking. That's just crazy to me, you know." "We're gonna find them." "Are you though?" "Shut up with your negativity." "My negativity?? Hehe, that's all I am. I'm all your negative thoughts you refuse to have. I'm basically the Anti-you. Yeaaah, I like that. From now own, call me Anti-Marcus. Now listen to Anti-Marcus and start fighting yourself." "I have better things to do, than sit here and destroy myself." Marcus says as he runs off heading towards Elias.

Arriving on the scene, Marcus stopped and watched as Elias ate his 99th kishin soul. He couldn't even bask in the glory of this accomplishment with everything going on. "Eli!" He called out him. "Let's go hunt some kishins." He says stepping up placing an arm on his shoulder. As he did, he instantly felt the black blood demon's presence looming over them both, amplifying Anti-Marcus' presence within. He takes a deep breath as Elias shifts trying to remained focus on his own sanity. Jamming Elias in the ground, he places his headphones on pressing play. "Oooo I like this song." Anti-Marcus says, right before Marcus grabs a hold of Eli, and dashes throughout the city. This was the start of the Kishin Hunt.

Grace Amadeus Fugue
DWMA Courtyard
Open for Interaction

The unscheduled disappearance of multiple students had cast something of a pall over the entirety of the academy. With the promise that the school would be able to keep the students seemingly shattered, the apprehension of the surrounding students had become palpable.

Grace repeatedly pressed her fingers against her palms as she stood in the academy courtyard, arms folded. The discernable changes in the wavelengths of her fellow students had perhaps set her closer to the edge than the disappearances themselves; constant reminders that things were amiss, her sensitivity to wavelengths parsing the feelings as one would a discordant symphony, every note landing just a hair too early or too late, and ever so slightly out of tune. The meister's own changes were more subtle, presenting themselves as an abstract, inexplicable tenseness. Grace did not speak any less than she usually did, nor did she ever lash out, or say the wrong things; instead, every motion, every word from her mouth, had merely carried a sense of stiff lifelessness, as if the very act of being at the school had become an uncared-for formality.

The constantly-calm girl took in a deep breath, letting it out slowly as she did her best to distance the errant data pushed into her mind from her sixth sense, hand tightening alongside the motion. The very act of a break from regularity was more concerning than a simple day of classes; the fact that she would rather be studying aside, the fact that they had all been somewhat unceremoniously gathered in the courtyard could not help but place the idea in Grace's mind that they were about to be treated to some sort of announcement. Given the circumstances, it was likely it wouldn't come with good news.

And yet, before she could find out either way, a sensation both hot like fire and numbing like a shock ripped through her mind.

It was like a blast of static, ripping through her hearing, her vision, and ambient sense of Detection. In an instant, she was on the ground, her jaw clenched tightly and spine curled inward, hands clawing at her head as she attempted to fight off the sudden surge of internal noise. And then, just as quickly as it came, there was nothing; not a single spark of sound or sensation, any and all feeling suddenly stripped away as if she had been unceremoniously shoved into a deprivation tank.

The meister retreated further into herself. She screamed, yet no sound came from her mouth, her mind barely registering the feeling of air leaving her lungs. Entirely unprepared, the crushing, surrounding silence enveloped her mind, seeping in through long-present familial cracks. Over and over again, she attempted to scream, to make any noise at all, and each time, in that unexpected mental prison, there was nothing. Not even an echo.

Takeshi Mifune

May 1st: Half An Hour After The Incident

Takeshi was, once again, laying on the roof of Elvena's house, eyes closed and simply relaxing when he finally noticed it, in time with the low, and uncharacteristically alarmed, rumbling of Ryu. Elvena was outside the city, and now rapidly approaching the edge of his end of their connection, and while he knew she could sense him leagues farther than he could sense her, he also knew with unwavering certainty that this jaunt of her was not planned in the slightest, and after the first kidnapping incident of their class, she'd taken precautions in case something like it ever happened. Oh how he loathed that his partner's preparations would need to be used, but also thankful for their existence in the first place. In one fluid motion, Takeshi leapt off the roof and all but crashed through the front door, making a beeline to the keys to Elvena's bike and then to the garage where it was kept, one hand ensuring that both his and her swords were secured to his person, and the other shooting a quick, courtesy text to Elias that simply said "Elvena gone." Text sent, swords secured, and helmet on, the sound of revving could be heard as Takeshi shot through the quickly opening garage door and down the street, following his tenuous connection to Elvena and the GPS tracker she had installed into her bike for these exact situations, eyes burning with an unholy fury and a hidden desperation to reach her in time. This was his state for the next few minutes as he quickly exited the city and sped off into the vast desert, Ryu's low growling his only company on the drive, until abruptly he couldn't sense Elvena, and the tracker disconnected. Eyes widening in alarm, Takeshi internally urged the bike to go faster, already knowing it was futile given that it couldn't get any faster than how he was pushing it. And so, this was his new mindset, heart unexpectedly hammering, Ryu jabbering, howling, and screeching its worry, and only the faint tracks slowly being swept away in the desert winds being his guiding star.

That's how the next near hour was spent, a lone figure speeding through the desert, their course shifting and winding following signals and signs that only they could find, and then, suddenly they came to a stop, gaze locked onto the horizon, reaching up to take off their helmet as they watched an airship slowly begin to leave their vision. A low, beast-like growling erupted from his throat at the confirmation from his demon. Elvena was most certainly on that ship, and that was all he needed to know. Helmet quickly back in place, Takeshi once more took off, eyes locked firmly to the sky and the steadily vanishing figure of the airship. And so hours passed, Takeshi following the ship till it was out of sight, and then, unexpectedly, turning to Ryu who was able to "scent" the unique lingering madness of Elvena that seemed to be left specifically form them.

May 10th: Sometime On The Highway

Over a week and still Takeshi felt no closer to his partner than when he started, but Ryu assured him that they were going the right way, even with all the twists and turns they had to go through when taking into account proper roads and not just the vast desert. Still, he wasn't giving up hope, not now, not ever, and if one decent thing came out of all this was the synchrony between him and Ryu. Ever since Elvena had absorbed the clowns, her Black Blood had gotten stronger, more potent and concentrated, and given their close connection, his own had strengthened in turn, though nowhere close to the degree that she did. But because of that, there were days where he had to hold a, paradoxically, even firmer grip around Ryu's leash. Not now, though, oh he wouldn't even imagine of reigning in the imp-like dragon anymore. It was solely due to the connection between Ryu and Hime, and his demon's fine-tuned sensitivity to Elvena's brand of Madness that he was even getting anywhere, and so he not only indulged his demon, but dove in to the ocean of darkness headfirst. If anyone was able to see, the sheer darkness and malicious bloodlust in Takeshi's corrupted eyes would be heart stopping. He didn't care, not as long as he found Elvena and made sure she was safe, and damn the consequences. Suddenly a blinked, even as he sped down the road, as he felt a faint, almost unnoticeable tug on his soul. He had no clue which direction it came from, how it happened, or if he just imagined it, but somehow, in his mind, he knew it was Elvena, that she was waiting for it, and, even now, using his very soul as an island. His eyes narrowed and he growled. He wouldn't disappoint her.

May 16th: Dark Alley

This was where the trail ended, so to speak. The scent of Elvena's Madness just disappeared completely, and that meant she was close, relatively speaking. He'd be there soon, Takeshi knew that, but still the prospect of being so close to his partner and yet still so far made his teeth grind and hackles rise. By now there was nearly no distinction between where Takeshi started and Ryu ended, that was how in-tune they had become, and the only thing that stopped Takeshi from lashing out and burning the world down in his wake wasn't some sense of morality, no, it was the fact that it would draw unneeded attention to him, stop him from finding Elvena quicker, and more importantly, he was saving the murderous urges and impulses for the walking dead that had taken what was his.

Well, mostly anyway.

A rough sigh left his lips as he dropped the beaten, bruised, and barely living thug amongst the corpses of his gang. He'd held on for the two weeks that it had taken him to get here, but now he needed answers, and quick. He knew for certain that he couldn't just manually scour the area for Elvena, even if the distance that he needed to cover was smaller than it was, he wouldn't be able to find the entrance unless he stumbled onto it. That's where the thugs and members of the seedy underbelly of life came in. They'd tell him what he wanted to know, or he'd make them. And if they didn't know anything? Well, they probably knew someone who did. And he'd find them, one way or another. But here and now? This was a dead end, which meant it was time to move on to the next town, and that he could cross off yet another small area off his list. A grim, bloodthirsty look flashed through his eyes as he stalked out the iron-smelling alley and to the bike. He had a partner to find.

May 22nd: Nondescript Town

A group of well dressed men drunken men stumbled down the street, laughing and jeering at each other. To many, they'd seem just like a group of friends or coworkers going home after a day at work then at a bar, but to the residents of this town, they were a branch of a criminal organization. A terror to this town, one that was unknowingly being followed by something infinitely worse than they could ever be. In the shadows of a roof a figure stood, gazing down at them apathetically, waiting for them to reach their destination, not out of a desire for privacy, but to ensure that he could get all of them in one go. Takeshi was close. They knew they were close, they'd crossed out huge swaths of land from the possible location that Elvena could be, gathered tidbits of information of a shadow group that had some sort of base of operations around here, and this group that they were staring at dispassionately was one of the few that had a direct connection to them, and more importantly, a tangible, proper clue on where their beloved partners were. They licked their lips, almost already tasting their partners soul and madness nearby, and they couldn't wait, couldn't hold on anymore. They moved, silently hopping from roof to roof as the group they were following reached their hideout, though to call the club full of similarly dressed men and other various patrons a "hideout" was a bit of a misnomer. Still, it didn't matter to them, they knew exactly who to target, and while they didn't care about the innocents, as long as they stayed out of their way, so would they let them live. Standing on the roof of the club, they moved to drop into the alley behind it and go through the backdoor, only to suddenly freeze, gaze snapping to gaze at the distance. A sickening smile spread across their face, dripping with hatred, bloodlust, and yet still relief. A quiet, scratchy laugh escaped them, their body shaking and jerking with the movement.

"Hahahahaha! Elvena... Near... HehehaaHAHAHA! Finally..."

Their eyes turned back down to the club beneath them, a hint of contemplation entering the bloodlust laden orbs. While they now had a precise location where Elvena was, they still needed a way in, potentially even some sort of disguise to get close to their beloved, though they would love nothing more than to just rip and tear their way through until they were reunited. Eyes narrowed and a decision was made. These insects were complicit in the stealing of their most treasured, and for that they would pay, with their lives, and their connections, that they would make sure of. And so, they dropped down soundlessly, their silence only broken by the faint unsheathing of a singular sword. And then? The night was filled with screams and blood.

May 23rd/Present: ???

They stood silently, watching and waiting for their opening. From last night they had learned much, much more than they expected, and now they knew where to look, for it stood right in front of them. Now that they were oh so near, they could quite literally taste the faint subtle scent of hers', lingering in the air like an ever-present aroma, sneaking through and escaping whatever method of concealment the cockroaches had used to hide away their treasure. It was maddening, and they were tempted to fully let loose their own, to announce their presence, for they knew they could easily break through with strength and power, burn down everything in their wake and take back what was theirs, but that could also bring harm to their treasure, and that was unacceptable. So they waited, knowing that soon the fools would slip up and provide them with what they were waiting for. And when they did, they would seize it with both hands. Blinking, their gaze narrowed as they spotted a vehicle get closer from their vantage point, and the urge to smirk maliciously was fully indulged. There was their opening, and now it was time to ring the doorbell.

Red Dawn
lifeline___apex_legends_by_fi1cs_deflq8u-fullview-1.jpgJazmin stood outside along with the other students in her class. She basked in the innocent sun, wonder just what they were doing here. She figured her sister Ikora was planning on telling them something important. Maybe she was going to inform them that, they found both alice and Elvena dead in a lake somewhere. She had zero form of personal attachment towards either one of them, so was she really wrong for thinking about the worse case scenario. Though i t would be insensitive of her to say something like that aloud. She previously made that mistake once saying it towards Marcus. He literally blew up, and cussed her out. She's tried apologizing, but he hasn't said a single word to her since. Was it because he was still mad, or maybe he somewhat believed it was true deep down in his soul. Either way she just wanted him to speak to her again. She'll just have to wait until they either find them dead or alive.

As the class stood there, something unexpected happened. When the have length came, Jazmin was affected at all. Her anti-demon wavelength kept her sane. She ran towards the edge of the courtyard looking down at the city. There were countless screams and destruction going on. It was utter chaos, and she couldn't believe it. The screams she heard, reminded her of the night her village was destroyed. Ready to leap into action, she turned towards Grace ready to leap into her hands. However, the sight of her meister on the ground struggling to scream brought worry into her eyes. "GRACE!" She screamed rushing over towards her meister and wrapped her arms around her from behind. With her physical touched, she used her wavelength having it seep into Grace to rid the madness from her soul. "it's okay Grace. I'm here. Everything will be okay. Just try and focus on my wavelength." She says rocking back and forth at a steady pacing. "Don't let this wavelength bother you. You're a strong meister who can overcome this. Just try and relax your breathing, focusing on my wavelength." Her hands grab a hold of both of Grace's. "Take my hands Grace, and focus." Grace would feel Jazmin's wavelength purging the madness away from within her. All her feeling and sound would start to return as the madness effect on her weakened. Jazmin would then take this moment to further strengthen her meister. Not via wavelength but verbally and with action.

She stands up, and pulls Grace up with her still holding her hands. "Grace Amadeus Fugue. You are too strong and too in tuned with yourself, to every let a wavelength like this bring you to you down. You are my meister and I am your weapon. If I ever see you fall, I will be there to pick you back up and I know you'll do the same. Together we are gonna overcome this struggle, and together we are gonna help this city. Now put your poker face on and get down there and kill some kishin Grace!!" With those final words, Jazmin transforms into her sword form. _Line 213 _Line 213

1634704191966.jpegFollowing the island trip, one by one things had begun to fall apart. It had begun with the disappearance of the weird girl, Elvena Stein. Before a few weeks prior, her disappearance wouldn’t have had much of an impact on Sozen, but Stein was a close friend of his new partner, and Sozen could tell that her absence was hitting Akron hard. Sozen had of course done his best to help his partner, but since the ink still had yet to dry on their relationship, he could only do so much.
The disappearance of yet another Shibusen student, Alice Drake, had only fueled Sozen’s growing feeling of unease. He’d started to keep a closer and closer eye on his own partner, never allowing the two to stay apart for longer than twelve hours or so. His cynical nature made him predisposed to mild paranoia, and he absolutely wasn’t going to let his partner become the next victim of whatever conspiracy was in motion, regardless of how unlikely such an outcome might be.
With the school on high alert, tensions only served to grow even higher. It wasn’t just Sozen and a few others anymore; everyone was on edge. Dispositions among the weapons of the absent meisters were mixed, Alice’s two weapons in particular seemed to be holding up decently well considering the situation, and Sozen couldn’t help but feel sorry for them. He could only imagine how hopeless or lost they must have been feeling with their meisters gone.
As Sozen stood in the courtyard, along with Akron and the rest of the remaining students, he felt a familiar feeling suddenly overwhelm the air around him. Madness. A smile slowly crept onto Sozen’s face as he tried to remember how long it had been since he’d last experienced the familiar feeling of it. He could feel something within him stirred up by the cold feeling of the madness, something primal and instinctual. In another meister, such a reaction would have elicited fear, or at the very least concern, but not for Sozen. He was no stranger to madness, and he’d walked that thin line many times before.
Hearing the noise of Akron trembling, Sozen reached out a hand and rested it on his partner’s shoulder, his soul thoroughly saturated with his anti-demon wavelength. Sozen was uniquely qualified for the task that was now at hand, and that brought him a measure of satisfaction. “Just focus on my soul and let me handle this,” Sozen said calmly, patting Akron’s shoulder gently. He felt a familiar weight as Akron transformed and put himself in Sozen’s hands. While Sozen and Akron had yet to establish a solid interpersonal relationship, their teamwork in the field was another matter. It hadn’t taken long for Sozen to get used to Akron’s weapon form, and in only a short time, the two of them had managed to establish an impressive sync rate.
No rest for the wicked,” Sozen replied to Akron’s mention of work to do, a smile on his face. “Let’s get to work then, shall we?

Elias Stein

e6dd65ba596da7460b18507d634b787f.jpg

Elias caught the tail end of Anti-Marcus speaking and simply replied with a, “ It’s a pretty good song. “ The Stein was already starting to hear things around him that he wasn't quite confident were actually there but for now it wasn't hindering his ability to fight or remain mostly sane. Those light caramel strands almost looked ablaze from the flames behind him, his entire weapon space seemingly engulfed in flames. He found comfort in it though, the warmth, the sound of wood creaking as it splintered off and crashed to the ground. It was his own sense of watching the world burn and it was delightful. The one certainty he could count on and the only place that reflected what his soul truly desired. As he and Marcus darted about the city, the meister knocking out the humans like he was attempting to get candy out of a piñata, while eliminating the vile kishin whom preyed on the humans scattering from an overwhelming sense of despair and horror, that music played in a way that fueled them both. It was full of hype but there was a sinister feeling accompanying it, a sorrowful note here and there which soothed his macabre filling soul. Each slash of his weapon form, every punch, almost seemed to be on time with each beat that echoed through their connection. Elias leaned against a pillar, blood red eyes lifted to peer out at the scenes presenting themselves. The buildings blurred by as their neon shop signs now lit up to guide the way as the sky grew darker. The streetlights remained cloaked in shadows, unalive and offering no respite. He knew better than anyone how much the lack of light could help madness fester in people, accelerating the rate it grew by tremendously.

In a matter of seconds, Elias went from composed and statuesque to animated and leaning forward suddenly, eyes glazing over to deepen in intensity as well as color. “ Hey, stop! “ He called out hoarsely, stepping away from his posted up spot as soon as he felt the shift in the air. “ Around the corner, to your right. Feel that? “ The Stein inquired, curiously peering through the side of his sword form to get a closer look when Marcus decided to investigate. His eyes narrowed, a dangerous gleam sparking within them when they landed on the monster before them. “ This madness feeling is similar to Elvena’s. “ He shivered only slightly but it wasn’t out of dread or anything antipathy. In fact, he was relishing in feeling something even remotely close to his twin, finding absolute warmth that he couldn’t even obtain from his flames, in the similar wavelength. “ These fuckers are trickier to fight. What the hell is a clown doing here? Is the entire world just going off its fucking rocker? Things must be really bad if these things are showing up. “ He noticed a shuffle of movement behind a trash can a little ways down the alley, revealing a small cowering child. “ Marcus. “ Elias said with a different tone of voice, pointing out the frightened kid.

Akron
interaction: Rhodus Prime Rhodus Prime mention: Kyuubey Kyuubey
Akron hadn’t responded to Sozen’s response simply deciding to take the advice of his partner and focus on his miesters soul, even if they where not exactly the closest in terms of personal relationships syncing was incredibly easy for the duo. focusing On his partner's soul Akron could feel the Anti-demon wavelength flowing through his weapon form… and it was uncomfortable in a way, the beast thrashing and screaming as his partner's soul squashed its grip.. and something about this was unnerving especially for Akron whom hadn’t really known anything aside form madness ever gnawing presence. “Indeed, let’s proceed“ Akron responded tone icey instead of neutral calm. “i should inform you that iv dealt with something akin to this some time ago.. a clown-like kishin… it had.. attached itself to elvy and emitted a madness wavelength akin to this, but Hardly on such a scale.. now we may proceed” Akron explained feeling it best to inform Sozen of such prior engagement.. he’d pulled through that incident predominantly by himself.. but this time was different. He allowed Sozen to take the lead retreating into his weapon space for now as there wasn’t much use in distracting his Miester with idle chitchat.

Akron‘s space had changed drastically no longer a pitch-black void punctuated by a spotlight and single chair. Now it seemed to be an endless but gently rolling field of white, Sozen’s wavelength seemingly having caused this.. yet it was still so conspicuously empty. Akron sat quietly upon the single chair staring out into the milky white landscape, the beast having wrapped its tendrils around his body, eye filled maw resting on Akron's shoulder it’s body seeming merged with the weapons raven black hair. Appearing suddenly a glass-like replica of Sozen stood in front of Akron, this wasn’t unexpected it was just how things were represented. Things could only get more… interesting from here.

Outside of Akron’s weapon space, the only thing Sozen would be a little easily ignored voice that would accompany wielding Akron.. but now louder growling, and some incomprehensible whispers. This was the “curse” or at least the oddly infectious madness that Akron had called such. Sozen was already being affected by his own, it just needed to wait for the right time to worm its way in with Sozen making it so much more difficult for the beast to “interact” with its lifelong host. Of course, it wouldn’t take the pair all too long to encounter Kishin, whom seemed to almost hesitate upon seeing the duo.. a predatory aura hung heavy around them.. after all, theirs always a bigger hungrier fish..

Bye Bye Clown
fanart_ekko_truedamage_by_shonataguemi_ddo4e0c-fullview.jpg, his soul resonated perfectly with the music, moving at its exact tempo. He raced through the city, going from block to block knocking out civilians and slaying any kishin that dared cross his path. A grinned started to grow on the meister's face as he finally found himself a way to release all that pent up stress. With each beat, strike, and step, that imaginary container was getting emptier and emptier. However he was still forced to deal with a nuisance in his mind, Anti-Marcus. He was going on and on as if he was a sports commentator. "He swings, and swings. Slicing that kishin into two. Marcus everybody, can he be stopped?? I sure hope sooooo!!" He was speaking non stop relaying a play by play of ever move marcus made, simply trying to throw him off game. However with the hyper focus coming from his partner and the music in his ears, Marcus was moving like a programmed machine. He made no mistakes or hesitation in his movements, executing them all perfectly. He ran down yet another block clearing it all, he was on a roll and nothing could stop him, except Elias. Hearing his partners words, he came to a swift stop and listened to his words. "Yeah, I do." He says tightening the grip he had on his partner. He felt the madness coming from the kishin, it reminded him of Elvy's madness of fear all to well. "Oh boy, oh boy. If it isn't Pennywise the ugly ass clown. I hope you're not scared of these things Marki Mark. Once they have you in their sights, you can't run from them." "Fucking clowns." Marcus simply said in response. Even feeling the clown's wavelength, he held no form of fear towards the being before him or anything else in this moment. Training along side of Elvena before and after her clown mission has definitely forged Marcus into an excellent meister. The only feeling he currently has in this moment, is the excitement of a challenge.

A grin formed on his face as he stared down the clown; behind it was a child scared out of their mind. He needed to keep the clowns attention at all times until he ends up; however he couldn't have this child getting in his way. "Hehe, I know exactly what you're thinking Marki Mark. You think you can fight this thing on your own without Elias?? Do you really think you can survive long enough for him to remove the child and come back to help? You're not Ikora. You're barely even a 1st star. Keep on this track and you'll end up just like your father." Anti-Marcus couldn't help but laughs at the words he spoke, as if he was mocking Marcus. The entire time, marcus kept a stoic expression upon his face. he was letting Anit-Marcus' words get to him. Not now not never. As the current song comes to an end and another plays, all Marcus had to say was, "By the time these next two song ends, it'll be dead." He says simply before he takes his first step dashing towards the clown. The clown tilts its head towards the side, as laughter escapes its mouth. Obviously it was already looking down upon Marcus as if he was an easy prey. A mistake, Marcus was willing to show him. As he closed in, Marcus hops into the air and as he did, Elias' arm sticks out from his weapon form and launches Marcus forward. The momentum from the explosion was enough for him to clear the entire clown completely. Marcus slid to a stop turning around to face the clown who was staring him down once again. "Get that child outta here." He says, tossing Elias towards the direction of the child and dashed forward using his soul force. As he charged towards the clown, he heard a series of explosions behind him. Elias has successfully grabbed the child and dipped. Now Marcus simply had to keep the clown's attention, a gamble he planned since the beginning. Hearing the explosions though, the clown's attention left Marcus and towards Elias and the child he had in his hands. As laughter escaped, he lunges into the air heading for Elias. Quickly adjusting his movement, Marcus lunged after the clown grabbing a hold of both of its legs. "I'm your opponent." Marcus declares, as he forces is wavelength into the clown slamming it into the ground. "Soul Scorcher!"

1634786598635.pngAs his attack ended, he created some distance watching as the clown stood back up laughing. "The clown just keeps laughing at you man. Did you even hurt him with that attack?? Are you holding back?" Anti-Marcus asked being extra as possible. Though his statement was somewhat true, Marcus was indeed holding back on that attack. He wanted to see just what it'll take to slow it down or stop it. The clown removes its nose and leans forward with a sadistic grin on its face. "Is it about to....Marcus he's about to shoot you buddy." Anti-Marcus says with a chuckle. "Wait what!" Marcus says seconds before the clown starts firing rounds of fire from his nose. Instantly Marcus starts running towards the side dodging the bullets. As he come upon a building, he acrobatically maneuvered his way towards the roof. The clown continued firing, lighting up the building Marcus was currently climbing. As he reached the roof, he ran from building to building. The property damage Marcus and the clown were creating was just racking up at this point. Along with the sounds of gunshots coming from the clown a nearby explosion went off in the air. To Marcus that meant his partners arrival, and towards the clueless clown, it meant its destruction. Marcus leaps into the air once again having his dominant arm stretched out and hand wide open. As soon as he felt the grasp of Elias' hand, he instantly closed his grip as Elias transformed. "Arrived right on time G." Now with his weapon in hand, Marcus slings it towards the clown's feet. Even as it leaps out the way, the impact from the sword caused an explosion sending it flying back with its concussive force. Marcus sprints towards Elias, grabbing him from the ground, and charges towards the clown that was already recovering. Laughter could be heard, as the clown dashed towards the pair. The two enter a clash as their two weapons collide with one another. However unlike what the clown expected as his arm collides with Elias' blade, an explosion went off sending it flying back into a concrete wall creating a puff of smoke. "I swear I thought you said these guys were tricky." Marcus said with a rather stoic expression. Faint laughter could be heard from the smoke, which caused Marcus to focus up. From within the smoke, he saw a faint fire orange glow, meaning one thing. The clown unleashes another onslaught of fire towards the pair. Changing his grip and stance,he begins spinning Elias rapidly in front of him blocking the attacks. "I'll call them annoying if anything."

The clown steps through the smoke, continuing its rate of fire as he approached the pair. With each step it took, Marcus admittedly had to back up just the same. There's no telling just how much longer the clown could fire, but he knew his arms would soon tire out. They were out in the open in the middle of the street, surrounded by buildings as they only way of cover. If the clown truly wanted to win, then all it had to do was attack from long range. Marcus figured that it learned that close range attack against Elias would simply not be good for it. Surprisingly the firing stopped as it placed its nose back on. He then lunges towards the pair looking as if it was planning on attacking them with a lariat; however, Marcus and Elias both felt as if there was something else going on. Before even reaching them, the clown extends its weaponized arm and instead sends out a tendril from its arm resembling Asura's eyes. Taken completely off guard from the attack, Marcus eyes widened as it closed in. "Eli!!" As if he read his mind, Elias' arm stuck out from his weapon form and released an explosion, forcing them both to the side dodging the attack. As the attack barely miss them, Marcus was on the move again. "Okay okay, you were right. These damn things are trickery. We haven't even made any damage to it foreal." He said as he maneuvered his way onto the roof of another building. The clown met Marcus on the roof next to the one he was on, moving rather swiftly, it charged in for another lariat attempt. For some reason it thought, it had Marcus on the run, which was his mistake. As the clown came in for its attack, Marcus side stepped out of the way and sliced at his arm cutting it off. It screeched in pain, which Marcus simply took the opportunity to and swing his blade at its core. Upon impact, Marcus not only cut deep but sent off another explosion, sending flying into another building. "Elias, let's end this dawg. We got other shit to worry about besides this clown. We gonna do that new move, I've been telling you about. Focus your wavelength when I say."

Marcus steps off the building, landing across the street from the clown. It was already standing in the process of healing. "Soul Resonance." Marcus says dashing towards the clown. As he appeared in front of it, he switched Elias into his right hand, and formed a fist with his left. "Now." He says giving Elias the signal. Simultaneously the pair began focusing their wavelengths, into Marcus left fist. As he prepared his attack, getting into his stance, their wavelength continued to compress into his fist. "Soul Scorcher: Eruption!" Marcus fires off his fist, colliding with the clown's core, hitting it with a mean uppercut. His compressed soul force fired off releases a concussive force sending the clown high into the air, clearing the city. Scorch marks were highly visible as Marcus wavelength flowed through its body, stopping its healing process. Pointing his sword straight up into the air, Elias' tesla cannon begins opening up as the blast starts to charge. The three seconds pass and the clown was descending towards the ground. "Tesla Cannon." He pulls the trigger and fires off a blast of compressed wavelength eradicating the clown. The blast could be seen from wherever in the city as long you could see the sky. As the blast dies down and the clown was destroyed, Elias transforms back into his buster sword form that Marcus used as support to lean on. He was exhausted and need a quick breather. "See. I told you, they weren't tricky." He says laughing weakly. "Well well well, Marki mark just killed his first clown. Giving him a hand everybody!!" Anti-Marcus says clapping away in his head. "God you're annoying."

Kade saw the writing on the wall the moment Alice and Elvy both disappeared from Death City without notice. After coming back from the beach trip he had the rumors of the notoriety his specific E.A.T. Class had been accumulating in the last year. Multiple students have left some with permanent scars, and several missions that had gone awry because of an unknown force moving in the darkness. Stalking the public protectors from the shadows of secrecy waiting for an ample opportunity to strike them like the prey Kishin treated them as. Some of the N.O.T. had even admitted they were pulling their transfer requests after recent events in fear that they would be paired with the unlucky class that had now lost two students. The Runner and the Brawler felt the academy's response on putting them into lockdown showed how scared they were. Marksman and the Brain saw it as them refusing to leave anything else to chance now. The DWMA and by extension Death City wasn't impregnable to enemy attacks based on the infamous April 1st dance that had resulted in the release of the first Kishin Asura.

Still Kade knew this was only putting everyone edge. Alice and Elvy's partners were the most severely affected, and then there were those who struggled with Madness more than others. If there were any plans in motion to retaliate or locate the girls they weren't told about them. It didn't help tensions and it was only worsening as the month dragged on. Being brought to the courtyard to be monitored by their teachers didn't help but none had to reflect on the moment.

The surge of Madness that engulfed the city like a dam bursting was horrific. As the wavelength reached the academy Kade actually felt as if he was about to separate into the brothers; like a gag reflex that had been triggered. The orders given were brief and straightforward. They couldn't sit by now and wait, they had to act and focus on damage control now. Whatever was causing this chaos was loose in the city and the people were starting to riot on each other while they succumbed to the worst traits mankind could possess.

"The shopping and entertainment districts is where I'm going. Its the middle of the day and everyone is out there around this time." Kade told the others as Rin transformed into her rifle form. Without another word he descended into the literal madness attempting to rip Death City asunder. The fighting became a blur as Kade did what he could. He focused on subduing, not neutralization. These people were innocent bystanders driven mad. He tried to stop those he could from devouring human souls, but the moment one took a life he was forced to squeeze the trigger. He didn't dare split into the four brothers just yet. The initial wavelength activation tried to without consent. They may succumb to this dark temptation and that would only spell more trouble for Rin while she remained in his grasp.

The gunshots nearby drew Kade's attention as he helped a mother and child to their feet. Urging them to follow guidelines and head to the DWMA for shelter. People poured out of the nearby gaudy neon lit casino that catered to the more mature citizens of Death City. Their heads ducked low in terror, making Kade grit his teeth as he gripped Rin's rifle form in both hands and rushed into the metaphorical fire before him. Taking cover behind the receptionist desk at the front when more machine gun fire pinned him down.

"Wooo I tell ya I love when the stakes are high and the house crumbles!! HAHAHAHA!!" The thick jersey accent complimented the man in the red Italian suit with pinstripes and matching fedora as he fired his arm transformed into a tommy gun up into the air. A cigar lit in his mouth while holding a bag of human souls over his shoulder. Pulling several out like an evil Santa Claus to hand off to his associates dressed in simpler black suits for them to consume. "Keep the school kiddies busy while I go get some more snacks for the night out on the town!"

Everything had gone down the drain in a matter of weeks. It was bound to happen, especially with the ever-growing issue that the DWMA had been trying to figure out since their kidnapping. People were already going off the deep end, between Takeshi Exanis Exanis running off on his own, Elias Kyuubey Kyuubey starting to hide himself more than usual ever since the vanishing of his Twin Sister. Which Rin could relate to, to a degree. But even she knew hiding away and distancing was probably one of the worst things. All she could do was try to be there for Elias whenever he'd even let her get close. That alone was a challenge in itself... Before she could think of anything else, an explosion of madness made itself known within the air, causing the hairs on the back of her neck to stand and darken the skies. Grace _Line 213 _Line 213 reacted, followed by Marcus The Elder The Elder , and looking upon her meister...Well...He almost looked like he was gonna puke with the way his reaction went. He held it in and seemed to power through it. This is bad. I'm glad my father is a weapon...he can protect my little sister and mom. she thought as Elias looked at her, only for a brief moment before walking away. The eye contact was so short lived that she was sure he didn't get to see the worry in her eyes.

"Elias wai-!" just as she called for him, he blasted off, leaving the weapon standing there as the city continued to grow darker. I don't know what he's thinking right now. Hell, I don't know what he's feeling. He better not get himself killed out there. sure he was strong, but the madness was just as strong. Ikora sent them off and she looked at her partner, suddenly transforming into the AR that she was. Her partner took off, rushing into the chaos that Rin could only witness from her weapon space. Calling out anything that came up out of his vision, keeping him on his toes. Hearing the sounds of more gunfire, Kade ran to that direction, coming up on the casino that no undoubtedly had hundreds of people within. Soon, their culprit was exposed. A typical Mafia man who wielded a tommy gun. Stereotypical, but also a nice way to point out you're an Italian mobster.

Her crimson eyes narrowed and she spoke up "Kade, I never told you this, but I have explosive bullets. But they take a little bit more power to use. So I suggest using them wisely..." she wouldn't switch to those bullets until he gave her the word "Upon impact, the target would be eliminated in one shot. Most of the time, that is." she glanced down at her hands, noticing they were shaking. Despite not being the one in the fight, she felt that adrenaline rush as if she was the meister instead. Clenching her fists, she looked back up "It's up to you if you want us to start using explosives now or later."

Nicholai
interaction:
without a weapon partner, Nicholai was basically put out for the count since well.. it wasn't as if he could really help nor would a meister without a weapon be of any use, so predominantly Nicholai was left at home, the mysterious disappearance of Elvean was worrisome more so that Akron had on MULTIPLE occasions seemingly shown up out of nowhere somehow. and dragged Nicholai along to find the girl regardless of his protests it was almost as if Elvena hadn't left but had just been replaced with a larger scarier armoured version of herself. and then poor Alice disappeared leaving even more people on edge... what could have happened

today Nicholai was just relaxing just sitting outside a coffee reading a book, a little sad that he had been left out of some of the events having gone on but.. everyone's mood was so sour that maybe it was best to just stay out of things least that what Nicholai told himself.. that was when the madness wave struck resulting in tables flipping and coffee going everywhere and worst of all ruining Nicholai's clothes and hair.. thankfully lukewarm coffee splashing all over him. "chert voz'mi, chto voobshche proiskhodit? kakoy-to amerikanets slomayet vse vecherinku" Nicholai mumbled in Russian.. rather pissed off only to realise.. no no EVERYTHING was going crazy. "oh ok.. this isn't good.." Nicholai explained, having not realised that the madness wavelength while not having hit him too hard had made the Russian boy forget about disguising his more Witchy features. so that and Kishin starting to run around ripping the place up only served to make it worse. screaming and panicking of the civilians around attracted kishin that was mostly human if not for the one huge clawed arm akin to a scorpion's, that had singled out Nicholai. "ooh fancy looking one there hey.. i bet you will taste betta then these sorry lot" it said in a somewhat Australian accent. "uh think there is mista- ill see myself out" Nicho replied awkwardly before BOLTING the kishin hot on his heels.. today would be interesting.

Grace Amadeus Fugue
DWMA Courtyard
Interacting with: Jazmin ( The Elder The Elder )

Grace grit her teeth as she practically forced herself to her feet with her weapon's help, their wavelength granting her a shaky sense of agency. Even with Jazmin's help, Grace appeared to be in a sense of near-delirium, breathing heavily as she attempted to pull her mind away from the intrusions that continued to threaten her mind. "...No, it's not that simple," she forced, her speech slowed, as if it took her a great amount of effort to merely formulate her words, "my family has...a susceptibility."

Her shaky hold on the transformed weapon's handle turned into a death-grip, fingers tightening as if her life depended on constant contact. "If we get separated...then it's all over," she said between heavy breaths, her eyes barely able to follow some of the other students as they dashed out into the city, already prepared for action. Many of them didn't even seem to have issues with the constant pressure assaulting her psyche.

She grit her teeth, her partner's wavelength continuing to be the only one that gave her the strength to barely stand. "It...it may be too much," she said, planting Jazmin's long blade in the soil as she used it to support her weak posture. There was a twinge of shame to her already-shaken voice, the usual blandness that covered it unable to form through either lack of strength or lack of will.

...If I can't do this, then how can I expect to...

She pulled the blade from the ground, slinging the greatsword over her shoulder as she did her best to struggle onward, as if attempting to press herself into battle despite not being in anything resembling fighting shape.

Camilla darted through the chaos ridden streets of Death City. Madness wavelength has taken over and it was driving everyone insane. Those who could not resist the madness began the Kishin process and indiscriminately attacked anyone who could. It was up to her and her weapon partner Gwen to do their part in protecting everyone they could. She wasn’t going to let a single innocent soul within arms reach of her fall victim to the maddened creatures that appeared every which way they looked. Although most of the Kishin retained a large part of their human form. Likely due to them still being in the early stages. This made Camilla’s heart weigh heavy. But she had to remember that the fact they had Kishin eggs instead of innocent souls meant they were no longer human. They were hellish monsters with nothing but a taste for blood and chaos. All she was doing was putting people out of their misery... Right? That ever linger sense of doubt remained. She knew how Kishin came to be but it never stopped her killing one before. Was it only now that she could see the process happening that hesitation starts to set in? “Gwen... This is a total massacre out here... No matter how hard we try... I... I can’t bear to think about how many innocent souls have already been lost!” Cami spoke through her wavelength towards her partner. She remembered the chaos that ran rampant in her home village. It was like she was reliving the nightmare all over again.

Camilla used her soul perception to scout out anymore Kishin eggs left in the vicinity and saw one, chasing after a rather unique looking soul. With no more time to think she bolted in the direction of the trouble soul only to find out it was Nicholai. Unarmed and in need of assistance getting rid of a man with a scorpion’s arm. “Nicho! Watch out!” She shouted in a panic as the Kishin closed the gap, reaching its claw out to grab him. Cami leaped into action with Gwen, chainsaws sawing right through the Kishin’s arm before it could grab a hold of her classmate. Right before finishing it off with a clean decapitation. The Kishin slumped onto the ground and her first concern was making sure Nicho was unharmed. Satisfied that he was left with nary a scratch she turned back to the fallen Kishin. A conflicted and angry look on her face. “Why... Why is this happening!? These were normal people live normal and happy and peaceful lives. Now Twisted and corrupted into horrible monsters! How is it fair!? Why do all these innocent people need to be dragged into this chaos!? It’s not right” Tears welled up in the corners of her eyes from the building frustration. Her emotions acting out far more than they should be. The madness in the air caused her own to stir within. Causing her to become far more emotional and easily frustrated. A far cry from Camilla’s usual optimistic demeanor

Llewellyn Artain-Galant

Death Weapon Meister Academy

It has already been four days... Cobalt eyes worriedly glanced in the direction of Death City, where Llewellyn was certain she was. He had never once made a fuss about his Meister's behavior once the class had returned from their Island trip, for the young man had believed that it simply was not his place to worry over Alice. The young woman had already been forced to experience great inconvenience from Llewellyn's habits and defective Weapon Form alone that it felt unfair for him to bother Alice over her increased consumption of pills. Besides, if things had gotten too out of hand, Hitomi could always use her wavelength to assist Alice. I should have spoken to Alice instead of avoiding the issue. The blonde internally lamented his past inaction, knowing that Llewellyn might have been able to change Alice's disappearance if he had just said something or if Llewellyn had made a greater attempt to reach out to his Meister's soul, regardless of the feelings he was trying to conceal.

A flash of dark hair caught Llewellyn's gaze as he turned his attention from the city and his own regret filled thoughts as another emotion besides Concern came forth: Pity. This Pity was short lived, as it was then quickly overshadowed by Shame. Whatever paltry emotions Llewellyn claimed to be experiencing, Takeshi must have been going through in a far more severe manner. After all, the other Weapon had lost more than a Meister and a friend, Takeshi had lost his lover. Then, rather than sit idly by and wait for the Professors and Professional Meister Weapon Partnerships to locate their missing classmate, Takeshi took it upon himself to seek Elvena out. Llewellyn never once interacted with the normally apathetic Weapon, yet he was impressed by the other male's drive, a drive that made Llewellyn feel pathetic in comparison. I would worry for Takeshi, but his performance in his spar against Akron proves that he is one of the class's top combatants. Though I do wonder if he has been able to find Elvena... The long haired male was not given much more time to ponder the well being of his classmates as yet another thing distracted him, however, unlike his thoughts, the new distraction physically affected Llewellyn.
What... is... this? The young man felt a brief sensation of vertigo as an unfamiliar sensation washed over him, nearly causing him to stumble. His eyes closed for a moment to assist in averting the temporary distortion in Llewellyn's vision and balance. Now I'm hearing things as well. The blond thought as he steadied himself. Those screams must be a hallucination. Unfortunately, the Professors' words proved Llewellyn's thoughts incorrect.

Wavelengths; Soul Perception; Kishin, just what was happening inside of Death City?! Llewellyn felt his earlier concern return and pair up with a flash of irritation at his confusion of the current situation. He understood that the city was in some state of emergency from the multitude of screams that rang out in the distance, but everything else did not. The young man's irritation only grew further as Professor Ikora ordered their class to head out into Death City resolve the plight that was unknown to Llewellyn. Still, in spite of his confusion towards the situation, Llewellyn found his body moving him towards the city as Ikora had demanded.

Death City, Streets

An acrid and coppery scent blanketed the air in Death City, nearly eliciting a gag from Llewellyn as he all but choked on the polluted air. Then, Llewellyn did choke as a stray swipe from a crazed civilian struck against the young man's throat. Unconsciously, the young man stumbled backwards, gagging audibly as he managed to dodge the civilian's follow up swing by pure luck. Coughing, the blonde weakly thrust his hand towards his current opponent, scoring a glancing blow that only served to drive the Madness afflicted individual away for a short moment. Thankfully, this moment of reprieve was all the young man required to draw in a ragged, yet proper breath before the crazed civilian was upon him once again. Though, this time Llewellyn was prepared for the frenzied swipe as he nudged the wild swing away with his left arm as he simultaneously slammed his right palm into the civilian's diaphragm. The attack forced the Madness afflicted individual to falter from the lack of air in their lungs, granting Llewellyn the chance to finish this altercation. The young man slipped behind his current opponent and wrapped his left arm across his throat while his right arm snaked its way behind the back of the civilian's head, pushing them into Llewellyn's forearm to effectively choke them out. Only once the flailing and glancing blows came to a full stop did Llewellyn release his grip upon the crazed individual. That makes five for me. The long haired male crouched down to check his latest opponent's pulse as he breathed heavily from the accumulated exertion of fighting through the streets of Death City.

"Alive... Good." Normally, Llewellyn would not have questioned his capability to incapacitate an average human being with all the training he received from his partners, yet today he felt... different. He put more force into his attacks than he knew was necessary, struck his previous opponent after they were already incapacitated and nearly choked this particular civilian to death if their weak pulse was anything to go by. Then, there was also the burning, pulsating sensation coursing throughout Llewellyn's body that seemed to grow stronger the longer he fought. It was almost as though he was enjoying harming these people, but that couldn't have been the case... could it? "I cannot worry about that now." Cobalt blue orbs took a cursory glance of the surrounding area, taking a few seconds before finally settling upon the individual he sought. The young man rose and made his way over towards his partner, who was still engaged in combat. Though, there was no hurried movement from Llewellyn as he made his way over, there didn't need to be when Hitomi was easily holding her own. "Where to next?" The blonde inquired after the young woman incapacitated what he was certain was her tenth civilian by now. His gaze was grim as he looked to the more physically capable fighter for direction.

Unfortunately, before the young man could hear Hitomi's answer in full, something settled around Llewellyn's leg. Then, just as suddenly, Llewellyn was lifted up by his grasped shin and flung away. His back painfully collided into sharp brick a moment later, causing the long haired male to cry out. Apparently there was a new threat to deal with, his brain helpfully observed as Llewellyn took more than a second to pick himself off of the ground. Cobalt eyes glared over at the new opponent, noticing the inhuman fangs and lengthened claws the humanoid bore, which in turn allowed the young man to notice the stinging pain emanating from his leg as well as the light, warm trickle heading down towards his foot. "Kishin." Llewellyn gritted out in equal parts pain and irritation.

The Struggle to Overcome
tumblr_c914b98fbbeadba7cebb54ea04da944e_8805c2d6_2048.png"Susceptibility?" She asked hearing as Grace struggled to speak. This would explain the weakness in their wavelength connection despite Jazmin using her anti-demon wavelength to try and subdue the madness. With this susceptibility, that only means that the two of them need constant connection. Jazmin's face appears within the blade, looking upon Grace as she struggled hard to fight off this madness. Jazmin could only imagine what may have happened if she wasn't here to help. She watched as Grace, plants her into the ground and started doubting herself. She was moments away from saying some encouraging words to lift her spirits; however, she was far capable of doing it on her own. A grin formed on Jazmin's face as Grace pulled her back out and slung her over her shoulder. There we go Grace, stay strong. She thought to herself as Grace headed out into the city. "Grace, I'll make it my mission to keep our connection strong. Focus on my wavelength and try to ignore the madness, treat like its not even there."

As Grace struggled on within the city, she would encounter many civilians with human souls fighting each other restlessly. Despite her current situation she easily subdued them causing not fatal wounds. The pair moved on within the city repeating this process over and over again. Their connection was slowly getting stronger the more Grace fought and continued to move on. "The city is in complete shambles. There's blood and destruction everywhere. It's like a horror slasher movie." She said randomly, trying to keep Grace mind of the madness. "I don't remember asking you this, but do you like horror movies Grace. They're my favorite." As the pair continued on, they come across a daycare filled with crying babies and toddlers on the inside. There was a trail of blood and adult bodies leading into the build and through the window, Grace would noticed a human like kishin with a devilish tail and eyes making their way towards the sound of crying. In both the kishin's hands were razor sharp scissors covered in blood. "Grace get in there now! I know you're not in the best condition, but I believe in you. Go take that kishin down!" Jazmin says trying her best to light a fire in her body and overcome her condition.

f31339d268480db3f38cf01304e56a67.jpgBefore the madness wavelength happened, Hitomi was standing off to the side of the group, wondering why Ikora brought them out here. She hoped it was news about either Alice or Elvena, and didn't bring them out here just because. Since Alice's disappearance, she's been on edge ever since. Lack of sleep and lack of focus. Her wavelength kept her rather calm; however, she couldn't keep herself together with Alice gone. For weeks since she's been back, she found Alive rather addicted to her pills, constantly taking them. There was no change in her wavelength that peaked her interest nor did Alice say anything. Once the madness wavelength washed over the city, her head instantly snapped towards the city; it didn't take long for the screens and chaos to break out. The first to act was Elias, who was very straight forward with his words about her using her wavelength on him. To be honestly, she didn't even think he needed her help. One by one all of the meister and weapon pairs started to dart off and protect the city. The wavelength did nothing towards Hitomi, due to her healing wavelength. Turning her head towards Lew, she was surprised just how quick he moved into action. He showed no signs of the madness effecting him so she figured as of right now he was okay. Though she will be keeping an eye on him just in case.

Done in the city, Hitomi resulted to violence and her skills to quickly incapacitate the civilians fighting. It was a nonstop battle, as she flowed easily from one opponent to another. Did it bother her to knock out innocent people?? She simply processed it as being part of the job. She didn't enjoy it, nor did she hate. It was more of a tedious task to her. She turned towards Lew, as she finishes up her tenth opponent. "We should head towards th-" Her words immediately ceased as Lew was flung across the way. She turned towards the culprit instantly pulling out a knife from her pouch and turning her arm into her serrated dagger. "Lew are you alright!!" She calls out glaring at the kishin before her. As she was waiting for his response, the kishin attacks her swinging its claws. She parries the attacks and counters cutting at the wrist of the kishin with her knife. "If you can move then join me, if you can't then stay there and I'll help you soon enough." She says blocking another attack. Hitomi was indeed meister-less, but fighting alone was second nature to her. She's been trained to fight the Sakamoto way since she was able to walk. This battle was just a simply walk in the park. Llewellyn Artain-Galant

Death City, Streets

Llewellyn pushed himself off of the ground while his current partner fought off the Kishin. Thankfully the young man was not injured from being tossed like a ragdoll, though he was certain that he would be sporting a nasty bruise later. I cannot believe my carelessness. I shall have to be more vigilant in the future or I may not make it to see Alice again. Cobalt blue eyes glanced upwards to observe the situation for an opening to assist his fellow Weapon. He needn't have for there was no need to assist in Hitmomi's fight, since the young woman tore the Kishin before them apart in seconds. It was baffling to witness just how impressive and more competent a truly functional Weapon was. "Well done." Llewellyn congratulated the other Weapon, swallowing down a green demon while he did so. Jealousy would not help save these people, nor would it allow him to locate Alice in all of this chaos. "Now, where should we go?"

Nicholai
interaction: Jackaboi Jackaboi
nicholai just kept running pushing past people And object even occasionally having to turn into a full fox just to get through a tight space, the scorpion limbed man focus dedicated on catching fox-like Russian and despite there dis proportionate body they where managing to gain on Nicholai barreling through most obstacles in its way. “Shit shit shit” nicho huffed out as he ran looking behind him for a second he’d slam into a wall the kishin catching up and was about to kill the poor boy, the sound of some kind of engine and a buzzing noise. Yet Nicholai remained unharmed, instead standing there was Camilla along with her weapon partner they’d saved Nicho ass. “O bozhe, spasibo, spasibo, Kamilla, ya byl by mertv bez tebya, deystvitel'no spas moyu zadnitsu” he’d say utterly relieved having slipped back into Russian without realising it In his panic. Only for him to realise that Camilla wasn’t really doing too well trying to process this all, frankly Nicholai didn’t have time to even consider what the red headed girl had said owing to him being chased. “Err I don’t know what going on my friend.. it’s just all chaos.. but stopping that is job yes? I say doing very well so far camilla“ Nicho ears drooped down a bit flaring somewhat against his head, despite the smile on his face, he’d pat Camilla on the shoulder then giving her a little hug even if he couldn’t really help much combat wise, he could at least try to help her emotionally and well hug’s help.

Gabriel Leon Atticus St.James

Death City, Back Alleys

Where could she be?! Shamrock green eyes darted around the debris littered streets as screams and explosions sounded off in the distance. Panicked steps brought the young man closer towards the next disturbance, only to disappoint him once more. She's not here either! Gabriel thought anxiously as he deftly dodged out of the way from a civilian's crazed swing. Then, the brief training on the Beach came back to Gabriel and he threw a well placed punch at the civilian's nose. This time the blonde remembered Hitomi's advice, allowing his own attack to both crush his opponent's nose cartilage and snap their head backwards from the force. Normally, such an achievement would have left Gabriel in a good, bragging mood, however, with Morika missing the Brit could not find it in himself to be pleased. A second strike across the crazed individual's jaw thankfully caused their body to fall limp and grant Gabriel a chance to strain his ears for any sign of his Meister.

The bespectacled male ran into a few more crazed civilians in his search, with each encounter forcing him to expend precious time that could have been put to use in locating Morika. Though, as the minutes passed, Gabriel's efforts began to feel futile as he located neither Morika nor any other member of his class. The young man was considering holing up near his Meister's house on the off chance that Morika found here way back home, when he heard the sound of a chainsaw from nearby. Bloody Hell! Have the civilians begun to arm themselves?! Shamrock orbs glanced over worriedly towards the violent sound of chainsaw blades rending flesh. I should stay well away from that, but what if it's Morika? The bespectacled male hesitated for another moment, worry over his Meister warring with worry for his own wellbeing before his protectiveness won out. "She better be alright when I find her..." Gabriel muttered to himself as he forced his legs to carry him towards what he was convinced was the sound of his own inevitable demise.

When Gabriel rounded the corner to the street he had heard the chainsaw originate from, the young man reasonably expected to see the worst. Mutilated corpses; blood and guts sprayed across the walls of the street buildings; a lifeless Morika gazing up emptily at the sky. So, when the blonde male saw only a small smattering of blood and a very dead Kishin, he nearly collapsed from the sheer relief he felt. It wasn't Morika. All will be fine. It wasn't Morika. Gabriel set a hand against the nearby wall to steady himself and the fierce beating of his heart that was threatening to leap out of his throat from both exertion and worry. Wait... did I see Niko? The bespectacled male thought once he had calmed down a bit. Shamrock green orbs looked through their glass lens to see a very familiar set of silver ears a fair distance away, sitting upon an equally familiar individual. "Niko!" Gabriel called out to his former Meister with a small wave as he began jogging over to the other male. Once he was close enough, Gabriel embraced the other male, crushing Nicholai against his chest. "It's good to see you love." The Brit held his former Meister for a tad longer than was appropriate for their situation, but he did relent in the end and released Nicholai from the embrace. Then, Gabriel turned his gaze over towards the other individual standing in the street with Nicholai and himself. The cute redhead from the campfire. Gabriel was surprised that he could recall this particular girl, though he was even more surprised that she was wielding a staff with small chainsaw blades attached to it. They look capable. Perhaps they can help me look for Morika... and I should help out Niko too.

"Niko,"
Gabriel began, turning his attention back towards the Russian male. "I was separated from Morika. Do you think it would be alright to partner with you until we run across her?" The bespectacled male tried to give a winning smile, but due to all of the stress the day had been piling upon him, it came out strained instead. Gabriel did not expect his former Meister to refuse his offer, which is why he took hold of Nicholai's hand and did his best to feel out the other male's soul in order to speed up the adjustment process. It wouldn't be all too beneficial to offer to help out the fox eared Meister only for Nicholai to struggle in wielding Gabriel. It took Gabriel a few moments before he felt confident enough in risking transforming into his Weapon Form. With any luck, Gabriel's last second tweaks would allow Nicholai to make use of his Axe forms, even if it would not be to his Weapon Form's full extent.

Kade had gritted his teeth in frustration while being bombarded by the hailstorm of bullets. Whoever the generic mobsters were, they clearly had an unlimited supply of bullets to unleash upon him and it was greatly unpleasant and a hinderance to stop the real threat here. This casino likely had dozens if not hundreds of more people inside of it, it was reputed for being a popular location for tourists to exploit the legality of gambling in Nevada. The owner had to fight tooth and nail to have it built in Death City, rationalizing it gave the adult Meisters and Weapons a chance to blow off steam like the wildly popular Chupa♡Cabra cabaret club that was secretly ran by witches years ago until new management took over. Something about the original girls franchising more if Kade remembered the tourist guide from his arrival right. Regardless this place was now a live game cage for fresh meat that a growing Kishin would love to feast on. Crimson eyes darted to the rifle in his hands as Rin's voice was projected from her transformed state, listening over the sound of gunfire as she confessed her ability to discharge explosive rounds. Eyes widened slightly in shock at the revelation but unable to delve further as he briefly peered over the cover. Questions had to wait. They needed to act. The Four Brothers could easily dispose of this threat, but after the initial Madness that hit the city he didn't feel confident in unleashing them. Each only carried a quarter of a whole soul, and he had no idea if that made them more susceptible to this influence of insanity. It wouldn't just be his life that could be at risk either. It was Rin's too, she would still technically be in his hands as he drowned in the depths of the same bloodlust that now plagued the city. He had not just a duty to keep the citizens safe, but her as well, and he couldn't risk it! The brothers would have to sit this one out for now.

"Got it! When I say tag. Switch between rounds!" Kade told Rin with a firm voice, and a serious gaze as he steeled himself for what was about to become. These men have strayed from the path of humanity. Even if it wasn't fully voluntary there was no stopping this descent, all he could do now was grant them rest and freedom from the shackles so harshly thrown on them without consent. With a calming breath he waited. Dulling out all other sounds as both hands held Rin close to his chest. The drumming of his heart only matched in tempo of the bullets thrown without strategy towards him. Then when the storm stopped, he moved. Leaping over the ruined receptionist desk, his finger squeezed the trigger and unleashed the projectiles forged from Rin's very soul. The first several struck the closest on the right. Pushing the enemy against the blaring slot machine behind him and forcing his physical form to decompose and compress itself into the condensed form of a corrupted soul. The other man's alarm of losing his brother in arms was the only distraction Kade had and his muscles screamed in response to move and capitalize on the chance. His feet moving in the opposite direction from where the first foe had fell to stay out of the line of sight and pull the trigger again. The recoil forcing the stock of Rin's rifle to slam into his shoulder while the muzzle flashed and made their opponent reel back from the onslaught of fire that that covered his once pristine silk suit before being replaced by the light red glow of a kishin egg flickering like the embers from a hearth.

Kade gritted his teeth and wasted no time, grabbing the remains of their fallen foes and donating them to Rin's surplus stock that another had steadily accumulated before him. The exact number was trivial in this matter, his focus was search, rescue, and destroy the evil that threatened the innocent. His shoes dug into the carpet as he ran, lacking the speed of the Runner but bearing the same graceful form that was inherited in separation. Even then he was careful; keeping his finger off the trigger while he moved, checking the corners before entering a new room, and protecting the way people came from as they fled.

Though as he descended the hallway to where the main slots and showroom car was, an obstacle presented itself at the threshold within. Emerging forth like an overweight mountain of flesh was a man. His skin grayed out from the Kishin's seductive corruption, his suit green, eyes glowing red beneath his gray fedora, and a wicked smile on his face while he toted a quad barrelled rocket launcher. Kade's feet skirted to a halt as the explosive enthusiast took aim, his eyes widening in fear before dropping to the floor as he saw the fiery launch of a missile from the top barrel. The rocket soaring just mere meters overhead as he landed on his chest and pulled Rin in front of him. A single word leaving his lips as he squeezed the trigger.

"Tag!" The third mobster he destroyed was enveloped in a fiery explosion aided by both Rin's additional ammo mode and the remaining three rounds their foe carried. The inferno being pulled inwards likes water escaping through a drain before another Kishin egg took his place. A soft tap on the top of the rifle and vocal uttering of gratitude left Kade before he pulled himself up and made his way forward. Onto the main floor of gambling he made himself known. Checking everywhere he could for their prey. There was too much cover for him to properly get a visual, and yet having the ability to convert his physical mass into a firearm, the duo wasn't besieged by additional gunfire. When he heard the sound of a car revving its engines did he realize why. The headlights shone down upon him like an actor upon a stage as the four seat convertible coated in candy red apple paint glared at him. The maniacal mob boss grinning wildly at him with a bag of souls sitting in the passenger seat. The monster's expensive leather shoe slammed on the gas and accelerated off the platform towards Kade.

There was no way to stop a rampaging car by himself, nor properly dodge it in time. Rin may be in her transformed state but if the car's weight was pressed against her it could still crush and possibly damage her still. Kade had no other options but to act to protect both of them.

So acted they did.

The smoke bomb like explosion that blinded the mob boss was only the first in a series of confusing events as he found himself stopped in place. The tires squealing against the rugged floor below as something smacked into the bumper with a loud roar of human defiance. When visibility returned, it was the Brawler, not Kade, that had stopped the car with his bare hands. Large powerful muscles with veins bulging in an attempt to escape as the strongest of the Four Brothers put all of his might into saving them from impending doom. His face twisted into pure determination and gritted teeth as he made eye contact with kishin who's looked at him in horror. No enemy was ever prepared for the first time when one suddenly became another. Nor when a new figure appeared from behind Brawler. Jumping off his large spiritual sibling's frame, the Marksman took aim and opened fire.

A single shot flew over the top of the car, connecting right in between the eyes of the mob boss. His head briefly slamming into the horn before his body faded into the final kishin soul within the casino that had served as their battleground. The car's wheels squealing came to a halt and the Brawler gasped in relief while the Marksman landed in the backseat of the car and reeled around ready to fire again before confirming the conflict had ceased.

"I knew we wasn't going to go crazy if we divided!" The Runner suddenly declared peeking out from behind the larger frame of the Brawler who placed his hands back against the glossy hood to catch his breath. The Brains appearing shortly after to check on the Brawler who gave a thumbs up between heavy breaths to confirm he was well.

"Rin, Marks. Are you alright?" Brain asked the pair in concern as none of the four displayed any signs of descending into Madness.

"I'm fine. Rin?" The Marksman asked looking down at the Weapon in his hands. Expecting to her human form appear against the reflection of the rifle's surface.

It felt like that she was in a war zone with her partner shooting about, followed by enemies doing the same. Thankfully she was in weapon form and bullets wouldn't and shouldn't affect her too badly. She nodded within her weapon space when he had told her to listen out for "Tag". A simple word that she was able to react to at a moments notice. Kade continued his barrage, refilling her with souls as much as he could, giving her not only extra soul count but also energy to supply the bullets. This is what could keep her going for a while, even if it meant using some explosives too. As long as he gave her souls, she could still supply. The fighting soon narrowed down to the big baddie driving the car straight for the pair and not only did Kade split, but Brawler was the one holding that car back, giving the pair reinforcements. It was incredible how well that Kade had handled her weapon form, even when splitting into his other parts. There was control, and definite trust between the two. Her connection was stronger than with her past Meisters, and she felt like that this was right one. In fact she felt a better connection with his soul, which could possibly give a lot more room for a soul resonance.

Within her mind, however, she was still worried about Elias ( Kyuubey Kyuubey ). Nothing could change her worries, especially not now after the city literally went dark and madness was extremely thick in the air. Standing within her soul room, she looked at the Violin in the case, her fingers itching to play it. Before she could reach for it, she heard the Marksman speak up, causing the weapon to turn and look down at the glossy ground to reveal her partner "Hm...? Yeah I'm okay." her human form did appear on the side, looking directly at her partner "You're doing good. Especially when there's many souls around mixed together. But hearing the other screams within the city, this is only just the beginning so... be careful out there. I don't need to worry about you too." between her family and Elias, that was already enough on her plate... "Its selfish of me to say. Disregard that." with that said, she vanished from the side of her gun and went over to the violin, placing her hand on the casing. I need to open this...somehow. she looked toward the ceiling where she could see her partner but not the other way around.

Rin was going to open this case, whether her soul space liked it or not. Upon gazing around, there was nothing she could take, so she had no choice but to resort to her hands. Her hands slammed onto the glass over and over again. Despite the durability, she was determined and even changed to different positions and styles to go at the casing. Eventually it cracked and she paused, breathing a little heavy. It was almost open and she was going to get it. Turning her back, she used her elbow and slammed it into the case, making it shatter. Breathing a sigh of relief, she reached in and pulled the violin out with the bow before moving to the center of the room "Don't be afraid for what you're about to hear, Kade. I need this...We need this." she was no longer alone, she had people who cared about her and clearly expressed that care.

With that said, she began to play. Another piece that she had yet to express.

GWEN
Gwen felt like she was starting to go numb to all of this. It was one thing to constantly have Meisters and Weapons take their leave from their class. Now however they had two that were straight up kidnapped! The school's staff way of responding certainly hadn't helped Gwen's opinion on the situation. They were clearly fighting an enemy that was a serious threat now, and what made it worse? Oh nothing too serious just ALL OF DEATH CITY PLUNGING INTO ABSOLUTE CHAOS!!!

Gwen was about to protest Elias's ( Kyuubey Kyuubey ) abrupt departure, worried to lose another to the insanity now gripping the city by the throat but off he went regardless. Left no other choice she transformed and took off with Cami to now and try to run damage control on this situation. Feeling her partner's distress growing over the wavelength flooding the city, Gwen decided it was time to transmit her own to her meister, she refused to lose her partner to this! If the soothing current of the healing wavelength. Though upon their rescue of Nicho, she could see these events were pushing Camillia to her absolute limit. Prompting her to finally speak up.

"This is why we fight Cami." She began vocally so Nicho could hear her words as well. "Evil triumphs when good does nothing. As long we stand together we can stop more from falling. We may not win every battle, and we may not save everyone today but every life we do save isn't in vain. We'll fight and as long as we keep fighting, evil hasn't won! That's what this battle means, every life we save is one proof the enemy's plans of total destruction ends in failure!" She said with determination in her voice to motivate her Meister into pressing forward. The image of her face appearing against the surface of her weapon to encourage Cami to keep going no matter what. However the familiar roar of an engine caught her attention as she turned her gaze within her Weapon void to see a familiar black beast driving along the roads like a mad man.

The Dark Irina!

Hijacked by Kishin!!!

"HEY! THAT'S MINE!!" Gwen's outcry was so emotional she found herself reverting her upper half back to human form so she appeared where normally one of her chainsaw heads rested. Watching in vain as her beloved vehicle sped away with a group of hooting and hollering Kishin behind the wheel.

One After Another
ddmsgrd-6f390565-ebe2-4741-a6df-c753d8e4b1d8.jpgIn one swift movement, Hitomi parried the kishin's attack yet again and sliced through its body like butter. The kishin dissolved leaving nothing but their kishin egg behind. She grabbed it, holding in her hand as Lew approached. She decided on giving it to Lew, instead of eating it herself despite her delivering the final blow. "I'm glad to see you're not hurt. Here." She says grabbing and placing it in his hand. "Eat it. There's plenty others to go around." She said with a soft reassuring smile. "Let's head further in towards our home. It wouldn't hurt to check up on it and the people over there. Oh and just in case." She says pulling out another kunia and placing it in his other hand. "You remember how to hold it right?? Just try not to cut yourself again." She says with a soft giggle, thinking back to their training. "Come on." She says leading him through the chaos filled roads. Along the way, they encountered some rioters though none they had to permanently put down. There were hints of blood on her gloves and clothes from all the fighting they were doing. AndLew, he was holding up strong, which she was really proud of. Seeing his growth over these months is something special. Though she couldn't help but notice the over aggressiveness behind some of his attacks. Was it frustration, stress from losing Alice causing him to act like this or was it the madness. Either way she knew she had to calm his mind and soul.

The two arrived at their home and there were signs of destruction through the entire block, though nothing too serious. That is until Hitomi felt the presence of bloodlust looming over them. She snapped her head in the direction of where it was coming from noticing it was coming from the roof of their building. "Lew, up there!" She announced as something started approaching the edge of the roof. Showing itself a big blob like kishin munching on a human soul. The kishin steps off the edge, falling straight towards the ground. On impact it releases a concussive seismic wave knocking everything back. Lew and Hitomi went flying back tumbling across the ground. She huffed and grunted in pain as small cuts and bruises appeared. She stood up drawing her knife and transforming her hand. "Lew are you okay??" She asked him keeping her eyes on the kishin as it pulled another human soul from under its belly fat. Was it storing food there? That's just disgusting. She thought to herself. Getting a good look at it, she could tell the kishin stood a good 6'8 and weight god knows what. Hitomi examined her opponent just to get a rough estimate on what she may be dealing with. She knew that from first attack it's raw strength is incredible, though its movements was something she hadn't have a chance to witness yet. Was it sluggish or.... Her thought process ending as the kishing came charging towards her roaring as it did. As the kishin got closer, she tried leaping over it, but it swiftly grabbed a hold of her foot and threw her to the ground. The impact would've been terrible if she didn't transform right before and bounced across the concrete. She transforms back, breathing heavily as she did. "That could've been bad." She says standing up. "Lew!!" She calls out. "I'ma need your help with this one buddy. Together we can take this blob down." She says transforming her hand yet again. RageFactorXIII RageFactorXIII
