Gwen Z2010Deadmeat Z2010Deadmeat
"Oi Gwen!" shouted Baira from down the hallway of their dorm, "Ya ready yet?!" he questioned; the white haired Meister already dressed and ready to go as he waited to catch sight of his partner. Dressed in complete costume from head to toe, Baira was confident that his 'Magician' guise would charm many tonight, especially those who tended to like to experience a little more fun after the party. Considering how much effort he had put into acquiring all of the necessary pieces to complete his desired look, Baira was quite proud of the finished product and had quickly dressed himself up for the party later this evening.

Not even the manic chaos of the morning could dampen his spirits as he rushed over towards the mirror and checked himself again, all the while waiting for Gwen to appear. As it had been for the last 5 minutes he had wasted checking himself out, Baira had found himself fiddling with the large top hat he wore, tilting it at various angles as he tried to determine which made him look all the more better. While it may have seemed rather vain of him, Baira's actions were again influenced by his wolfish instincts, the need to impress and assert his superiority over all the others as the one worthy of being called 'Alpha' was the driving force behind the amount of effort he had put into 'looking the part'.

Of course he had the option of going fully transformed for the party since apparently dressing up as a werewolf was an acceptable form of guise to wear during Halloween; something that Baira did not understand himself. However rather than taking the easy option he had opted , instead to continue exploring his 'human side' by experiencing the ups and downs of buying and making his own attire and the final result was the reflection in the mirror as Baira flashed himself a smile.

With the confidence of a thousand men, Baira knew that he had done his best to look the part for Halloween and that his efforts would be dutifully rewarded during tonights festivities; the anticipation of the rewards he would get as well as the euphoria he would experience helping to grow his already wide smile even wider. "GWEN!" he barked once more as he left the mirror and looked down the hallway once more. "GWEN WE ARE GOING TO BE LATE!" he annoyingly shouted as he still awaited her arrival; half eager to go to the party and half eager to see what she herself had been dressed up as. "I'll wait 5 more minutes" he began, walking towards the door as he spoke. "Otherwise, you'll have to let me surf the Dark Irina as we pull into the school" If they were going to end up late, than the only solution was to make a grand entrance.

A somewhat peaceful rest, as much as one could get on an old mattress, was interrupted by the sound of chains clinking followed swiftly by a numb hardly noticeable feeling across his body, akin to someone lightly running their fingers across someone's skin. The boy's eyes would open rapidly body tense, as he knew what had just occurred. Chains had wrapped themselves around his body various small hooks dotted across the lengths of each had dug into the flesh causing small rips crimson red flowing forth. Yet he felt nothing pain and sensation lost a long time again only the most horribly torturous of wounds would cause even a dull tingle, his face remained calm but the boy's eyes betrayed him, wide with abject terror. He’d turn his head slowly and carefully to follow the chains leading to a tall feminine figure leaning against the doorway chains ending upon their head, metallic bindings mix in with long locks of hair. The figure threw her head back laughing in an unsettling tone as the boy was jolted toward her, the hooks digging into their flesh even more, yet he didn’t flinch or even react just kept staring. The figure more visible now as she’d approach with a predatory smile her face and limbs bearing many scars though hardly as numerous as the boys. “Awwww not gonna scream anymore? Your no fun anymore little Akey? Come on just a whimper... a squeak just for meee“ her words rolled off her tongue like honey though her tone was sinister enough To let one know she was enjoying every moment of this, as she spoke the woman would pull the boy up so she could stare directly into his eyes, a finger tracing all the little scars on the boy's cheeks searching for any quiver or wavering in his facade. “Hmmm~? Well, I couldn't get to sleep anyway maybe if I squeeze you more little Akey you might pop? I see it in your eyes you want to this to stop, come on little Akey be a good toy... plead for me to stop and maybe I will” she’d continue to speak every word she spoke saturated with a sinister pleasure. finally, the boy couldn’t stand it any more... muscules twitched face contouring into one of pain unfelt and desperation. “please...please...” he murmured Only to have a finger placed on his lips “hmm perfect that's just wanted I wanted to hear..and you know what little Akey? I think I will do this all night“.

it was that incident with Shiri, that had caused Akron to start wearing the armour that had become ubiquitous when one thought of him, that towering man of metal whose face was hidden behind its plates, as too were Akron‘s feeling buried under a calm facade and a physical barrier. Tonight however was different tonight Akron would have to rely entirely on his own willpower there was no way to hid his face, especially with his current attire. If anything Akron was less concerned about what people might say and more interested especially with how well received it had been with Juri and Morika. Though one concern did not leave Akron‘s mind... if everyone would be at the party... that would mean all the girls would be there it was impossible to shake the feeling that one miss-step would lead to him being on the receiving end of any aggression. he might have talked to Liam about these things they were partners, but also Akron didn’t feel like burdening him with this sort of things, it was a day to be enjoyed not to stress over others feelings thusly He’d not want to ruin it for Liam.
No matter how Akron felt about the situation, This wouldn’t at all stop him from going, after all, he‘d promised Juri that she could escort him. The hight difference and there starkly different demeanours, one like a hyperactive child the other seeming like a smiling parent, anyone would think that there Roles where opposit to the truth of the matter And of course The gift basket full of candy hadn't survived that long the pair having eaten all the candy though mostly Juri. Akron kept very close to the bouncy pink-haired woman. “Hmm I wonder if there would be any more candy at the party I doubt it would last that long though“ he’d remarked Idly as they walked.

Elvena Stein
( T-T-Time skip! Wait, where did all the time go? )

skadi-arknights-anime-girl-uhdpaper.com-4K-6.1872-wp.thumbnail.jpg

With Marcus out of the house, her offer so readily accepted, Elvena was quite pleased. As happy as was possible given the circumstances of such a bitter taste that he’d left in her mouth. Granted, if one looked at the bigger picture, there hadn’t been much of a choice in the matter, but there were indeed options for him. She believed in giving someone a choice to sign their own fate and that was just what the other meister had done when he sanctioned her extended request. It wasn’t any form of forgiveness, that was something she herself would have to find on her own, a road that she would tread carefully from here on out. While they were allies at the end of the day, simply for the fact of fighting a common goal, the Stein wouldn’t hesitate to put herself and Takeshi first if put in a situation to do so. That went for anyone involved though, self preservation and taking care of her priorities trumped the well-being of others. It may be selfish to be so against teamwork but why rely on others, why be held back by others, why put your life in the hands of someone outside of your partner? It seemed silly. Unrealistic. That’s why she preferred the solo missions, clearly avoiding all team missions. Without the factors of others it was easier to calculate and account for the scene of a battlefield, there was more to control, less to hinder you. There was just her and Takeshi, and while their souls danced, it was just them and the enemy. That in itself was quite pleasing, no music needing to play as their souls guided one another. At first, she had led the way, her own personality and conviction dominant, but eventually over time, there was no lead and no follow, it was fluid motions that only indicated they had become one. But even so, with having achieved such a balance, they’d yet to perform soul resonance. Generally it hadn’t been needed thus far but Elvy felt ready, on her end, if it came to unleashing such an ability.

The next few hours consisted of Elvy admiring her sword, secretly taking peeks at it and finally taking it out of the box to hold it in her steady grasp. If they were capable of shaking, which they were not, this delicate and cherished present receiving only the best of her surgeon-like embrace, then they most likely would out of the sheer excitement that flickered in her eyes. She held the sheath in one hand, fingers loosely holding the hilt as she slowly pulled the sword out to admire the blade. Takeshi’s golden eyes however were upon her and while she was ecstatic, enough to clear the moon with a single jump, she resorted to a sloppy grin as she returned the sword to its rightful place and hugged it to her chest, much like she had the first day she’d held him in his weapon form. Before going about working on the final touches of the costumes, yes costumes, she gingerly placed her gift back in its box and kept it within eye shot on the side table by the couch, close to where Takeshi continued to lounge. Normally he would’ve gone and done his own thing, probably cloud watched some more, or napped, but today he seemed intent on remaining by her side. Elvy didn’t mind a single bit though it did foil any of her plans she had intended on trying to persuade him into going along with. He didn’t seem too argumentative though as she held up a mask and traditional style garb that seemed akin to hers in nature and origin. “ I made it for you. “ The dragon mask was handed over, each detail hand carved and painted, something she’d done in the privacy of her lab so he wouldn’t catch a whiff of it. While she knew it could never compare to how beautiful things were crafted back at home for him, she hoped it would suffice. “ It fits your soul. Protective, fierce, angry when awakened, determined and possessive. “ The garb came next and she tilted her head slightly, humming to herself as her own costume was plucked off the floor, balled up within her arms as she tiptoed off into the next room. Normally Elvy didn’t truly care about the shame of changing in front of another, they both had seen the most intimate parts of one another’s souls, what was the difference in a body? But alas, there were lines that she knew not to cross with him and anyone involved. It was socially frowned upon, something she knew even if she didn’t quite agree.

Practiced hands took a more conventional approach as she dipped a paintbrush into a color that matched her eyes, a deep crimson, a deep breath following as she outlined her eyes. She made sure to avoid the bottom of them, only working a bit onto the sides and the top lids, much like one drawing upon a canvas. Next was her hair and while she wasn’t super crazy into the whole girly thing, she settled on just unwrapping the ribbon that contained her hair at the bottom to let it flow freely. Completely satisfied with the minute details she added she returned back to the living room, long strands of hair that almost kissed the floor the first to appear as she peered around the corner, head tilted. Some might find this a bashful move but the true intent was to make sure Takeshi wasn’t indecent, though she wouldn’t entirely mind, he did deserve some semblance of privacy. Following her eyes, once confirming he was indeed fully dressed, came an appreciative smile as she stepped from behind the corner and resisted the urge to say anything that might make him suddenly regret his decision. Her face gave most of her thoughts away though, hiding expressions not a strong suit of hers when in his presence. Those golden eyes always saw right through her, something she admired and vaguely loathed. “ Gonna grab some…. Things. “ She paused before the last word fell from her lips, a hint of trickery already playing in her voice as she darted off down to her lab, somewhere that even Takeshi wasn’t allowed to venture. It was the one rule she had established when he moved in. While it was also her sanctuary, it held some dark parts of her past that she didn’t want a single soul to lay eyes upon.

A few vials that were sealed off and some droppers were carefully placed into a small pouch that she hid within her costume, making sure they were sheltered with a patting hand as she found her way back upstairs, eyes falling towards the side table. She was already feeling that pang of possessiveness in her heart, much like she did with her partner, so leaving her birthday gift here, vulnerable at home, was just going to be unacceptable. Inquisitive eyes that were filled with many solutions fell upon a piece of ribbon that was discarded carelessly on the floor. The motion of grabbing it along with the box was made swiftly and whilst her movements were hasty she still took great care to secure it against her hip, the ribbon being wrapped and entwined around the sword with precision. She once again hummed in appreciation, something she was beginning to pick up from Takeshi, before she turned and let him know she had to go to the academy early to decorate. She left out the bit about the shenanigans that she had been planning for weeks down in the lab; it was Halloween after all and Elvy was more of a tricker than enjoying the treats. Surprise crossed her features as he agreed to go with her, rather it seemed like he wanted to. While suspicious, she kept any stray thoughts to herself and simply relished in the idea of getting more time with him, seeing as a majority of it had been stolen by someone else.

Decorations were put up, the giant ballroom turned into the spookiest dang room in all of Death City, even giving the haunted houses themselves a run for their money. She knew spiking the punch and dropping some of the liquids she concocted onto some of the snacks presented on the buffet table was not going to be easy to get past Takeshi’s wandering gaze and the moment she felt like she had been given an opportunity to do so, she took it. Elvena could’ve sworn she saw his face twitch slightly in her peripherals but if he had seen anything he didn’t seem to utter a word about the incident. Knowing him, he probably made a mental note to refrain from drinking or eating anything during the party now that he knew exactly what she was up to. Bummer. Everyone else will have to do. The evidence was disposed of and she leaned against her partner with a small smile, sighing in contentment and relief that she was finally done and could put forth more attention towards him. “ C’mon, let’s hide in the chandeliers. “ She motioned upwards to the beautifully elegant chandelier while giving him a gentle nudge, her smile tugging into one with a more mischievous nature. The expression on her face lit up as Takeshi easily transformed into his weapon form for her, clearly already in sync with her thoughts. Elvy eagerly grabbed her partner and took a few steps back, eyes locked onto the chandeliers overhead. One running start later, and she was in the air rapidly approaching the hanging light source, having taken a large leap using her enhanced strength. Deftly catching the chandelier, she pulled herself up with a practiced graceful motion and propped Takeshi down next to her, immediately leaning into him as he transformed back into one of his usual lazy poses.

75463240_p1_master1200.jpgShinobu Basili

Shinobu had looked around the room for several moments right before they left. Having spent nearly the entire past few hours making bouquet after bouquet, one would expect the entire room to be covered in them. But Shinobu had loaded them up, leaving her room barren of even the slightest petal. By the time her partner had called out for her, Shinobu had adjusted her tie and was already making her way over to the front door Though she trusted Hanako, the sheer enthusiasm she'd been displaying all day prompted Shinobu to take precaution that she wouldn't run out ahead of them. That same concern followed her outside of the house as they made their way to the Academy, but after some time she relaxed upon noting Hanako staying within range of them.

As they made their way through the streets of Death City, Shinobu tried not to let her gaze wander too much. This was technically her first time seeing Halloween celebrated beyond the walls of Dormu's compound. The Yakuza boss had used the holiday as one of the numerous excuses to have a fashion show, and so most of Shinobu's memories of the holiday were of playing dress ups and going down runways. It was a style of memory that she had gotten used to a long time ago. But now she finally had a chance to see how regular folks celebrated it, with less runways and more scares. Of course, considering what she saw over the course of her life, she wasn't one to scare easily. She worried about a lot, how to show proper respect, how to maintain her appearance, making sure she didn't step on anyone's toes, etc. But despite all that concern, the last time she could genuinely remember fear had been quite... quite a while ago.

It was at that point that Rin spoke up about her lack of a costume, something which led Shinobu to look down at her usual dress shirt and vest combo. It was fairly signature for her at that point but, unlike Dormu, she wasn't the type to believe that looking good meant needing a large variety of outfits. It was part of the reason she'd been somewhat grateful that she already met the theme of Halloween. But instead of admit something like that to her partner, she looked at it from a different angle that was far more simple to manage in a prolonged conversation.

"Well after seeing what Morika suited you up with, I'm almost tempted to regret that." she shrugged before giving a shrug "Might actually have to hit her up and thank her for working her magic for you."

Yeah, Shinobu was already planning on giving as many girls bouquets as possible throughout the night, but prioritizing their friends first just felt more meaningful. Besides, Mara and Morika both deserved their appreciation, so it wouldn't even feel like she was going out of her way. On that note, both Rin and Hanako should have one for each of them as well. From Rin's outfit to Hanako's general sweetness, recognition was due in both cases. But they'd all be heading home together, so Shinobu figured she could cap the night off with their bouquet deliveries.

Speaking of Hanako, Rin brought up the interactions Shinobu and her had while she was working. Shinobu had gotten the gist of it from their mom, and was about to assuage Rin's concerns when a memory struck.

"Oh she was fine," Shinobu waved it off before slowly lowering her hand and casting her gaze ahead of them to Hanako "I mean, sure I was kinda taken aback when she brought up your ...other sibling... but I got through no problem. She was pretty dead set on going to to this party with us all day."

With the form of the DWMA looming in the distance as they drew near, Shinobu found herself silently noting how fitting it was to the holiday as well. With how big it was, the turnout for the party would probably be immense. Shinobu hadn't been able to confirm or deny the legitimacy of the claims several of her... acquaintances had given earlier, but she figured she'd be alright regardless. But even then, she found herself doubtful. There was a large population of girls at the academy, so even though she'd made dozens of bouquets the threat of several of them going unappreciated tonight became more plausible.

"Geez, hope I made enough bouquets." she murmured to herself while rubbing at the chin of her mask before glancing over to Rin "On that note, I never did ask how your day at work was."

Morika looked all around the party as she entered and smiled at all of the decorations. This looks like fun! Why hadn't haven't I been allowed to go to a Halloween dance before……oh right…… Morika flinched and headed to an open area on the wall as unwanted memories tried to plague her mind and keep her up at night. Morika quickly searched her pockets for her bottle of pills and panicked when she wasn't able to find them. A whimper passed through her throat as painful memory after painful memory forced it's way through her head and screamed for her attention. Morika collapsed onto the ground and clutched her head in her hands as she did her best to seem smaller. She tried to remember what her tutor and Mother told her to do should her pills go missing. Morika took in a deep breath and counted to 10 before she exhaled and counted backwards from 10. When that didn't work she resorted to her back-up plan, to run outside and get away from people.

Once the fresh air hit her face, she was able to actually breathe and try to block out all of the horrible memories and random flashes that went through her head. The first flash had been kids laughing maliciously at her while she was shoved to the ground in her torn Lolita dress that had been made special for her. Another flash was a group of boys laughing loudly and mockingly at her while she sat in a pond, having just caught her breath from when they had pushed her in and almost drowned her when she wouldn't hand her candy over and they ruined her costume. Before Morika could watch another painful memory flah before her eyes, her phone rang and the screen lit up obnoxiously.

Morika furrowed her eyebrows and took her phone out of her pocket before she read the name of the contact on the screen. A somber smile came to her face as her mother called her. Without hesitation she answered and listened to her mother's frantic and panicked voice ask if she was alright. "Hello Mom. I'm alright. No, I haven't taken my pill yet. Yes, I know where they are. I'm at a party the school is hosting. I'm with my friends. You haven't met them yet…no, they actually want to be my friends. I hope so. Mom, you don't have to come over I know how busy you are. I'll let you know if I need anything. My friends? You want to talk to one? Umm…no, they're all inside. I wanted to go outside and I didn't want to bother anyone. I know that I should speak up, but I wanted to be by myself for a second. I'll go inside soon. I'll be safe if you be safe too. Alright Mom. I have to go. I love you too. Bye." Morika smiled as she ended the call and watched the outside world around her. It wasn't so bad, all she did was forget to take her pill bottle with her and no one tried to ruin her costume yet. These were all things to be happy about. Morika smiled happily to herself as she put her phone back into her pocket and felt a strange small object in the pocket her phone had been. Curious, she reached into her pocket and pulled out one of her pills that was supposed to be in the pill bottle. She huffed and grumbled under her breath as she swallowed the pill dry. At least the rest of the night won't be so bad now.

GWEN
"I'm coming! I'm coming! I'm not used to doing this stuff." Gwen shouted through the bathroom door before turning her focus back to her reflection in the mirror. Makeup application was never something the gear head of a girl had pride herself in. SHe had meant to ask on of her more 'girly' classmates to help her, but one thing led to another and now she was just out of time! So here she was trying to apply the eyeliner and eye shadow without looking like a damn raccoon. This party was the first one she was going to attend as a student of the DWMA and she wanted to look her best! Sure the evil hooded black robe of doom was cliche as it got, but Gwen knew she could rock it regardless! The makeup and heeled boots she was going to wear with it would compliment it to the point she would look like the perfect mistress of darkness. And not a moment too late as Baira shouted out for her to hurry up once more. It was time to put on a show.

"FOOLISH WOLF!!!" Gwen boomed out as she emerged from the bathroom with an elegant swirl of her robes with the hood up. "You will show me respect! Me! The Mistress of Velocity! The Speed Queen! The Angel of Combustion! It is I who will ensure you get to this party on time! FOR I COMMAND THE ROADS! MUWHAHAHAHAHA!! *ACK* *COUGH*" Gwen's over dramatic flare came at the cost of her choking on a small cloud of makeup dust from her attempts to hurry up so she could emerge with her mock speech. "I'm ok. I'm ok." she managed to breath out.

Preparing for the Partytumblr_2bb3ec809308d993861397e35a2ae43b_af33b237_1280.jpgEver since arriving at home, Marcus has been on edge thinking about what’s about to happen to his and Elias’s partnership once he tells him what he did. Ready for whatever action he took against him, Marcus only hoped that in the end Elias and he could still be partners. However he was still prepared for him to leave if he so wished. Thinking about what else happened today, he also thought it'll be best to also tell him what he's been going through internally these past few months, after he apologizes for earlier of course. He felt like if he could express himself to Elvy why couldn't he do it to someone who was literally his partner. Upon Elias' arrival, Marcus only waited a few short moments before opening his flood gates and letting everything flow. He first started with explaining EVERYTHING that went down at the Stein household, followed by a deep and sincere apology. As Marcus apologized he left out his wishes for them to stay together, but simply expressed his deepest regrets and informed Elias that if he wished to leave after causing both him and his sister pain, he understood. Giving Elias time to process what happened, Marcus was soon meet by the upset brotherly side of Elias. Knowing full well what she went through, he was definitely angry at Marcus. However, he soon understood Marcus' side of what happened. A full blown accident, nothing done from ill intentions. As the tension subsides from his confession, Marcus continues with his rant. He informed Elias about his nightmares, the images he sees every now and then, and of course the effect it has on him when fighting. He told him, that everything that he was experiencing was his punishment for leaving him, and that will always be his biggest regret. Thinking it would mainly be a one sides conversation, Marcus was surprised by what Elias told him. He felt bad for everything Marcus was going through. He blamed himself, much like Marcus did. They both felt as if they failed one another within their first few months together. Luckily they both want to build their strengths together, bettering their bond, forging it into something more. It seems like the only thing, these two really needed to do was to meet in the middle and focus on one common goal. Happy that Elias wanted to remain his partner and work on themselves, Marcus started to slowly feel that obnoxious weight lifting off of his shoulders. He was no longer carrying the weight of the world on his back, but it was he and Elias doing it together. It felt like it's going to be them against the world.

A few hours have passed since the emotional rants and speeches, and it was know time for Marcus to head over towards the school for the party. He managed to get the DJ gig for the party. Excited for tonight, he definitely wanted to get there early and have everything setup and ready to go. And he definitely wanted his partner there for sure. It took some begging and pleading, but Elias finally agreed to attend the party, however he'll be by the Dj booth secluded from everyone else. Marcus didn't blame him, nor will he push him to go out his way to talk to folks. He was content with him coming along to help setup and chill there with him. Plus he also gave him some noise canceling headphones just encase he gets annoyed which seems inevitable. After they got dress, they packed Marcus' car with everything he needed, like his laptop and mixer and headed for the school. Walking up the stairs with his equipment would've been a mess if he also had to bring a table or extra shit. Luckily the school was providing everything he need, except for the cables for his mixer. Entering the ballroom, he looked around soon to notice Elvy and Takeshi was here early as well putting up decorations. Trying not to stare too long to make them notice, Marcus makes a swift Line B-line towards the DJ booth setup in the front corner of the room. After hooking everything up, he had Elias help him out with the sound testing especially with the speakers placed everywhere throughout the hall. With Elias at the booth, messing around with the sounds, Marcus walked around the hall, checking for any deficiencies in the speakers, luckily there weren't any. Unexpected from a school like this, he expected at least something to be messed up. As he continued his rounds, he noticed Elvy doing something over by the punch. Not tryna get her attention, he simply continues to mind his own business and makes his way back towards the booth. Everything was setup and ready to go, and all this place need was a little walk in music for everyone coming in. "Alright Eli, thanks for you help again. I wont forget about your free lifetime deal for 10 pc spicy wings. That'll be your birthday gift, plus those headphones I gave you. I know how much you wanted to relax at home. I ain't gonna push you to dance or interact with folks, though I might need you to help me keep people away from the booth. Messes up my vibe when too many folks keep coming up asking for song. You feel me?" He says with a cheeky grin. "Now why don't we get this party start!!" He says slamming his finger down onto a button starting the music.

Juri flashed Akron a goofy smile at the mention of the candy not lasting long, surely he wasn’t thinking such an audacious thought that Juri would have anything involved with that. A hand rose to stifle an oncoming laugh that should’ve sounded cute but came out instead with a real villain-like vibe. “ I mean, it’s free dibs if it’s just laying around. You wouldn’t want me to be starvvvvvvvvving right? “ She pouted only for a second as they started to approach the long staircase that led up to the DWMA, the bane of most of the students' existence. It definitely once was hers. “ Oh, say, Akron! Wanna feel the power of a death scythe? “ Juri’s eyes glistened as if the sun themselves were bursting forth from her pupils, elation clearly visible as much as a non-cloudy blue skied day. Without waiting for an answer she grinned wide, twirling about in place as her fluffy pink locks changed once again to represent part of her weapon form. She swooped Akron up as if he weighed nothing, positioning him to hold him bridal style in her arms which was extremely comical given the vast difference in their body sizes. Even if he protested now, she was too into it, face lit up like fireworks were going off in the distance, her expression full of unrivaled glee.

She bounced around on each foot as if preparing herself, the look in her eyes steeling itself from excitement into determination as she tightened her grip on the boy and darted forward. There was no visibility, the blurs of students being passed the only flicker of what could be made out by either of them. Oh, and there was wind, lots of wind, rippling through his hair and clothes as they ascended the staircase at a record speed that nobody in the history of the DWMA had ever come close to beating; Juri would always be the fastest. One could only compare it to teleportation, the way she moved when in the zone, feet barely touching a step before she leapt past many, using the force as momentum to increase her speed. She cleared the top with a victorious grin, now airborne in a cheerful pose, their landing surprisingly extremely smooth given the velocity they were travelling back towards the ground at. Akron was deposited back onto the ground and an inquisitive look that screamed wellllllllllll? was plastered across her features, those small arms stretching out as if she was still warming up. “ Betcha didn’t think I could pick you up but I’ve got muscles for days, see? Just look at 'em! “ She flexed her arms a bit to show the non existent muscles off that only made it seem like she was delusional, arms still very noodle-like. “ I can even pick Armstrong up. “ She admitted very proudly, wagging a finger around as she spoke.

Rin tensed up when she listened to the words that left her partner's lips I really hope Hanako didn't mention Reiko... It had to be Kas. He's our sibling too. it was too early to jump the gun with this. All she had to do was mention her older brother and hopefully Shinobu wouldn't pick up on any suspicions. She then asked about her day at work and even that alone was a worse question. So much happened during the morning that she felt if she would spill out everything, it would ruin the mood. "Well..." she sighed and watched her little sister ahead of them "Just a lot of drama in the morning. Elias came in with some annoying girl and I had to kick her out for following him inside the employee section. Then our live instrument player bailed so I had to get my violin." leaving out the parts with Elias was probably for the best. "After all that, it calmed down and I got to play my violin all day while my boss handled customers with the other employees." folding her hands behind her with the bag still in hand, she continued her walk, biting her lip for a second "Also, I'm sure Hanako was talking about our older brother. He doesn't live with us anymore, he was also a weapon that trained at the DWMA." Rin said, glancing at Shinobu and offering her a smile before looking ahead once again.

All that Twintails wanted to do was just relax, enjoy the party and just be with her friends. If she drowned herself in her emotions it would only cause another situation back at the cafe. "She probably misses him, and I don't blame her. He always made the house fun. Though I wouldn't admit that to him." she giggled softly "He and I would always get into dumb fights but it was like we both enjoyed it. Purposely picking on each other and pissing off one another. He probably would have tried to get under your skin too. But you're really relaxed, so I don't think he would have gotten very far." talking about her older brother seemed to always bring up memories, ones that made her smile. If only he could be here that would be great. She could catch up with him and share her stories in the past two months. There may not be much but hey, sibling bonding time. Even with their squabbles, he was always there for her when she needed him most in life. A shoulder to lean on and to cry on.

Her crimson eyes watched Hanako as she skipped around, her wand flailing about happily. It was refreshing just to see her run around with a smile on her face. I wish I could be her age again. So innocent, so naive to the world. Nothing but joy in her life. No worries of the outside world and how dark it really is. on top of that, going back to that age would bring her sister back. Though the end result would still be the same. To prevent her thoughts from going dark, she spoke up again "I'm glad you're coming with me to the Party, Shinobu." If it weren't for her partner coming, there would have been a lesser chance of Rin coming herself.

Elias Stein

Bakugou.Katsuki.full.2751116.jpgThere were a lot of mixed feelings stirring in the kettle that had begun to boil over until Elias was able to simmer them down. His first reaction upon hearing Marcus’s actions was more defensive and while he didn’t want to admit the thought of violently attacking his partner crossed his mind, it indeed did, his fingers curling into his palm to form a fist at his side. That same hand began to ease into a position that was more natural as Marcus continued to speak and vent. All that was left in the end was guilt. A shitload of remorse. The two made plans to better their bond and that was all Elias needed, some sort of goal to hold onto, to work towards. That he could do, even if everything felt like it was crumbling around him, even if everything caught on fire at his touch. He had to believe that somewhere in him there was someone capable of building something atop the rubble he created out of his relationships with others. Frankly, the pile of shit he’d destroyed was starting to get too high and it was leaving him uneasy. Getting a lot of things off of their chests seemed to be a step in the right direction, regardless if he didn’t like a majority of what he was hearing.

They’d survive this. Elias would survive this. He peered down at his open palms and the scars visible on his arms, eyes seeming to trace them as if he were tallying them up in his mind. I deserved every one of these. He bitterly admitted to himself, the thought itself leaving a sour imprint in his mind. It’s about time I own up to my crap. For Marcus, who I’ve been hindering and terrorizing without knowing it. Elvy, who I tried to control and couldn’t let go. To Takeshi, who I disrespected and spat on. He had taken shelter in his room while they separately got ready for the party he very, very, hesitantly conceded to attending. Only on the condition that he could hide with Marcus at his DJ booth, not wanting to mingle or be social at all, which Marcus agreed to quite willingly. A long drawn out sigh had left his mouth, lips only slightly twitching into a small smile at Marcus’s sudden enthusiasm when he complied with his request. At least he isn't hard to please.

Elias heard Marcus call out for him and he trudged out of his room, face contorted into one of annoyance as he stood there in a firefighter outfit. “ Elvy made this for me last year and I think she has some sick fucking humor. It’s really all I have to wear, don’t you say a fucking word. “ His tone was lacking any amusement, eyes dangerously narrowed as he could almost hear her echoing laughter of mockery in his head. Explosive Elias who loves to watch the world burn, a damn firefighter. Huh-lair-ee-us. The last thought was staggered, eyes rolling in unison as he followed behind Marcus, eventually stepping into the DWMA. His gaze was quick to follow his partner’s at the sight of his sister and her demon weapon, Takeshi, but he looked away hastily. Probably not the best time to walk up and apologize for being an absolute idiotic and disrespectful moron with no sense of self control. He blinked rapidly, ripped once more from his thoughts as Marcus asked him to do a few things and he nodded, silently just trying to avoid any attention.

He settled down in the booth when finished with his tasks, fingers curling around the headphones handed to him as he stared at them for quite some time. “ Wings? Music? Damn Marcus, you really know the way to my heart, huh? Forget the girls here. Shit, can I just date you? “ A grin that matched his partner’s tugged at his lips, canines flashing briefly before disappearing like a fleeting thought. It was natural interacting with Marcus, any pressure they’d been struggling with or fighting recently had been abolished during their conversation. Everywhere else though, with anyone else, he was still extremely unsure and trying to keep his distance as he felt it was safer that way. For them, not himself, he didn't give two shits about his own well being right now. There were amends to make and he was hell bent on dropping his selfish nature of putting himself first. Every now and then he’d peer upwards towards the chandelier, shoulders unable to relax as they were riddled with tension at the thought of Takeshi up there probably watching him with those haunting eyes.

Akron
interaction: Kyuubey Kyuubey
Akron puffed his cheeks out a little at Juris evil little giggling along with her response. “I never implied anything, of the sort, but you are right they really shouldn’t leave it just laying there, besides.. I’m sure the others wouldn’t care so much, there probably not into candy anyway” Arkon replied with a little wink of acknowledgment to juri, having used the usual response the pink haired woman would give when discussing eating candy. it was a lighthearted joke probably not even a good one but ,it was to Akron, nice to just be able to just do it. They disproportionate pair would within moments end up at the base of the huge staircase, they were slightly annoying to get up though unlike many Akron couldn’t feel pain of having to climb them.

Once again juri spoke up again, Akron’s slightly confused gaze would meet Juri‘s starry eyes for just a moment before she’d twirl away her hair shifting bettewn that akron had just enough time to say “sure“ before being suddenly swept up into Juris arms. Akron had instinctively flinched when the tiny woman had darted towards him, though it only made him hold onto her tightly, managing to bounce form one foot to the other with easy despite Akron’s weight. Though he was unsure of what Juris was going to do her gleeful expression felt him with little worry that it would go bad. after all why would you look so happy if it wasn’t?

it was then Juri would take off everything passing by in a incomprehensible blur of motion the massive amounts of wind causing his incredibly long hair to flutter violently much like a flag would and somewhat embarrassingly his dress too. This extreme pace lasted only moment the pair ending up airborne and rapidly losing altitude and landing smoothly onto the top of the staircase. throughout this Akron wasn’t scared or worried once They had started moving it wasn’t like anything would go wrong, aside from what had happened to his dress Akron throughly enjoyed the ride. His feet now back on solid ground he’d meet Juri’s inquisitive expression with that screamed “THAT WAS SO COOL” And it indeed was cool and very unexpected.

“I will admit I didn’t think you could, but you did........ it was really fun actually.....and it was a honour to see a death scythe in action....” Akron replied with a long awkward pause between some points His hair having gotten a little in the way of his face prompting the boy to brush it back into place with one hand. a smile appeared on his face when juri flexed her non-existent muscles, while she wasn’t a massive hulking Titan of strength Juri had proved capable of picking him up soo. “yes I see that, all that strength in one small package, i have no doubt you could lift Armstrong“ he’d reply sincerely then backing up just a little crossing one arm and using the other to tap his chin thinking for just a moment only to then let out a slight chuckle. “Well since you carried me all the way up the stairs I only think it’s fair that I get to do the same to you” he‘d then say cheerfully and much like juri had done he’d pick the small pink haired woman up with easy putting her up on his shoulders so it ended up as a sort of piggyback ride. Thusly Akron and juri would arrive at the ballroom anyone already there would if paying attention to the entrance, Akron putting juri back down on the ground, but also Akron not wearing his armor the many many scars all over akron’s face, Arms and legs now visible without the metal plating covering his body in its place he was wearing a dress that looked surprisingly good on him.

A loud whistle escaped Baira's mouth as he looked down the corridor towards his partner, hazel eyes falling upon her as he happily gazed upon the costumed girl, the white haired Baira unaccustomed to seeing his partner dressed in such a fashion. Though perhaps it was equally awkward for her to see him wearing so much clothing, considering his preferences. But there was nothing he could do about it. There were rules that needed to be followed and if he had had his way, then his costume would have been quite different.

Alas, their attempts to make their way to the party was halted once more as Baira quickly turned towards the kitchen, grabbing an empty glass off the shelf and pouring a glass of water for his cough stricken partner, a chuckle escaping his mouth as he took note of just how unaccustomed Gwen was to applying make up on herself. Handing the glass to her, Baira examined her costume much closer; quickly pulling the hood down as he closely examined Gwen's handiwork. Whilst boundaries were set early on in their partnership, Baira had no qualms with taking advantage of the situation to get a much closer look at his partner. This was after all a rare moment and he'd be a fool to not take full advantage of getting up close with her. It was merely instincts for him to do so.

"Well then Speed Queen! Mistress of velocity! Angel of combustion!" he replied enthusiastically, echoing her self proclaimed titles as he placed a palm upon her back, with a bit of force as if ushering her towards the door. "I trust you to make one hell of an entrance then! Let's stake our claim for the best dressed team by making a grand entrance that will out everyone else to shame~!"

Elgin had a feeling that Winry would be successful in convincing Arthur to attend the party. However he needed a couple things first to complete his costume. "White spray paint I have... Don't bother asking why. Winry and I will have a look around the house for the other stuff though. You got that Sis?" "YUP!" Winry shouted right before she flashed Arthur a big cheesy grin. While Elgin merely lazily lifted his hand in a sort of wave as they both left the room. Finding the list of things Arthur needed proved to be a surprisingly difficult task. The whole process was done in a sort of montage with Elgin opening drawers and checking closets While Winry checked under beds and other smaller spaces. Somehow it nearly took the whole day. Stopping midway to eat some food and go back to the hunt. Eventually Winry was able to procure the mask and Elgin found the white spray paint. The boots were however still missing... He wasn't even sure if they had any around to begin with. Elgin was on the verge of giving up and buying a new pair of boots instead, but just as all hope was lost. He opened a wardrobe he'd already checked a good 50 times, realising nothing had magically appeared there and slammed it shut in a fit of rage. Causing a hard object to fall off the top and hit Elgin on the head. He held his head in pain while Winry laughed in the background. He was about ready to toss whatever it was out the window like the Alarm clock before it... Until he saw what it was... A leather boot. The other one still teetering on the edge of the wardrobe. "... ... WHO THE HELL PUTS BOOTS ON TOP OF THE WARDROBE!?!?"

With their objectives complete it was now 6:30 pm. Arthur still had time to turn the materials into a usable costume. And so he did! In the time that Arthur took to get ready, Elgin and Winry used it to catch a much needed breath after such an exhausting search... "I knew we shoulda just bought that stuff from a shop..." The time was now 7:30 pm. Arthur had left the room, dressed in his surprisingly badass costume. He seemed to have gone for some kind of masked gunslinger look. Dressed in a large red coat and a cowboy hat, along with scary skulls attached throughout. All completed with signature and realistic looking revolvers. Elgin let out a long whistle, visibly impressed with how much thought he put into it. Winry meanwhile stared with a glint in her eye. "SOOOOOO COOOOOOOOOL!!!!" "Huh... The one that's never heard of Halloween also has the best eye for costumes too it seems... Not bad at all!" Elgin checked the clock on the wall only to wince at how much time they had left. "Welp we better get a move on now. Or else we'll be late for the party." With that the trio left the house, on their way to one of the best nights of their lives.

On any other day, Elgin, Arthur and Winry would look like complete weirdos, thus was the fun of Halloween. You could dress any way you wanted outdoors... Within reason of course. The weird and wonderful outfits that coloured the roads stretched as far as the eye could see. Trick or Treaters were already making their rounds while the older individuals were dressed up making their way to the halloween party. As they kept walking one outfit stood out from the rest. A cute red riding hood costume could be seen in the distance accompanied by two other individuals he couldn't identify well from the distance he was at. All he could tell was that one was a little girl waving around a magic wand and the other looked more formally dressed. "Are they going to the party too?" Well... Guess there's no harm in making some small talk with lil red over there while they travelled. Time to bring my A game He thought to himself as he sped up his pace and approached the other trio. "Heeyyyy there! Love the costume. You heading to the party too? If so I thought we could... Chat for a bit while we walked." The girl turned around and his once confident face soon turned to one of fear. Sweat starting to form on his forehead. "R-RIN!?!?" Elgin soon noticed who the others were too. The formally dressed one of course being Rin's Meister Shinobu and the little witch girl being... Uh... "HANAKO!!!!" Winry popped in too. Seemingly knowing the little girl. "IT'S SO GOOD to see you again! I love your outfit by the way! You're going as a magic witch right!? Wait... Are you coming to the party!?!?" This night just suddenly got a whole lot weirder.

It honestly had not taken Llewellyn very long to finish frosting the remainder of his cupcakes, yet he still decided to remain within the quarters he had been assigned within Alice's household. The servant did not wish to step out of the room before it was time for the party later that night at the DWMA. Llewellyn knew that he was allowed to do so if he so wished, but he still decided to remain with his self imposed exile for no other reason than he did not desire to potentially disturb Lady Alice. Though, this exile only lasted for the better part of an hour before Llewellyn realized that he would need to wash off the flour, sprinkles, caramel and other confectionery ingredients off of himself if he was to attend the night's festivities. Taking care to not disturb Lady Alice while she remained within the kitchen area of the house, Llewellyn quickly and quietly made his way to the house's bathroom to take a much needed shower.

Once he had washed off all of the sticky and cloying ingredients from his body, Llewellyn hastily made his way back to the quarters assigned to him in nothing more than a simple blue t-shirt and black shorts. It was a shameless outfit for a servant to be seen in, hence his haste in making his way into the safety of the room he was allowed to reside within. More than once, Llewellyn feared that Lady Alice or the Lord had noticed him scurrying about in his horrible state of undress, yet his fears were mercifully unfounded and he was not found out. Still, the servant did not breath easy until the door to his assigned room had closed safely shut behind him.

Now that his minor panic attack at being found in such a scandalous outfit had been successfully averted, Llewellyn could focus on dressing himself for the evening. The servant made his way over to the small table and chair he had been granted permission to make use of and picked up his brush to begin working out the many knots within his long, damp, honey blond hair. The process took a great deal of the time he was allotted before the start of the party, yet Llewellyn knew this task would be rather rewarding once he was finished. He could not simply arrive to the DWMA Halloween Party with a blond tangled mess sat upon his head. If he did, Llewellyn knew that such an appearance would reflect badly upon Lady Alice, the Lord and the Galant household, which would simply not do.

When the servant had finished unraveling the last knot within his long locks, he then turned his attention over to the outfit laid out upon the bed he had been granted. This outfit was not one of the few servant attires Llewellyn had brought with him from the Galant household. No, this one had been given to Llewellyn by Lady Morika, who had been far more than happy to depart with the marvelous clothing set. Llewellyn would have attempted to reject what had obviously been a gift from the friendly girl, but Lady Morika had swiftly departed from the residence shortly after her brief visit with Lady Alice a few days ago. The servant still wanted nothing more than to return the outfit to Lady Morika, however, if he did so now after the perpetually upbeat girl had clearly left it behind as a well meaning gift, it would be a grave insult. I suppose I should wear the outfit. Lady Morika did intend for me to have it and this set of clothing would be more appropriate for the night's theme. Hesitantly, Llewellyn picked the outfit up from the bed, once more marveling at the craftsmanship, before trying it on.

my_hero_academia_sh_to_todoroki_anime_halloween_vampire_cosplay_costume_1_.jpg

This fits me quite well, almost too well. Did Lady Morika make this magnificent piece just for me? No, she most likely could not deliver this to it's intended recipient and instead decided to donate it rather than hide it away in a closet. Still, I shall have to thank her. This is a gift I truly do not deserve. When he was done inspecting himself for any discomfort the costume may have brought, Llewellyn looked about the room to see if there was a mirror before he remembered that he had neglected to bring his own over from the Galant household. The discovery was a disappointing one since the young man would be incapable of ensuring that his appearance was proper for the festivities. "I suppose I shall have to ask Lady Alice before we depart." Llewellyn murmured to himself as he resisted the urge to sigh. He then retrieved the container filled with the yellow bread, chocolate cupcakes he had baked earlier and took a seat in the table side chair to wait for his Meister to fetch him.

Llewellyn did not have to wait too long before he heard a rapping against the door to the room he was currently waiting within. Then, Lady Alice's voice accompanied the knocking, informing the servant that she wished for him to attend the party with her. Llewellyn felt shame and guilt for causing his Meister to feel this distress. The servant had thought that he made his position clear to Lady Alice with his actions and demeanor after she had demanded Llewellyn follow no other orders than her own. He was more than willing to do as his Meister wished, all she had to do was ask. It was a bit disheartening to think that Lady Alice had to seek reassurance from Llewellyn after he had told her earlier that he would attend the party with her, should she wish it. Is it possible that I was not clear in my position on the matter? If so, then I have surely caused a great deal of unnecessary strife for Lady Alice. A slight frown appeared upon Llewellyn's face as his fingers lightly drummed upon the cover of the container filled with cupcakes that he had set upon the table he sat beside. I need to make up for the grief I have made, but how should I do that?... There was a short period of silence within the room as Llewellyn did his best to think up a solution to improve his Meister's mood. Eventually, a thought did come to Llewellyn though, it was a rather bold one that he had only ever witnessed working within the realm of fiction. It was highly probable that the solution he had thought of would only worsen the current situation, yet with the limited amount of time they had to arrive at the party in addition to the time Llewellyn had already wasted in contemplation, he had little choice in the matter.

The servant schooled his expression into his neutral mask once more as he took a deep breath to fortify his resolve, lest he accidentally slip into silence once more and further worry his Meister. I hope this works....and that it is proper for a servant to attempt. That specific thought had nearly shattered the will Llewellyn had mustered to carry out the task, yet he pushed through it as he pushed himself up and off of the chair he had been sitting upon. Then, Llewellyn made his way over to the room door and opened it to reveal Lady Alice waiting behind it. This allowed the young man to catch a brief glimpse of the blonde girl's outfit before he disregarded it in favor of his questionable plan to calm her fears. Llewellyn offered Lady Alice a small, genuine smile, something that was particularly difficult for him to do without defaulting to the polite one he had been taught to always greet others with. Then, the honey blond male reached downwards and gently took Lady Alice's hand within his own as he began to lean downwards and bring the gloved appendage up towards his face. Here, the young man hesitated for the briefest of moments before he placed a chaste kiss upon the cloth covered hand. It was such a simple thing, yet the very action had Llewellyn experiencing a deluge of emotions that he was not able to navigate through, much less sort out. Thankfully, Llewellyn's smile held through the tumultuous sea of feelings that threatened to have him rudely rush away from Lady Alice, as he instead forced his blue eyes to meet her emerald ones. "Milady," Llewellyn began to speak in a surprisingly even and gentle tone in spite of the turmoil that roiled inside of himself. "I would be delighted to attend tonight's festivities with you."

Llewellyn then waited for Lady Alice to reply to his statement while trying to not fidget uncomfortably over what he had just done. He gave his Meister a second. Then another. And another. And another. Is she alright? The servant's smile had ended up faltering by the third second, yet now he was truly concerned by Lady Alice's lack of a response. Perhaps I should hurry us along. Lady Alice has been looking forward to this party the entire week and she would undoubtedly be upset if she missed it. With this thought in mind, Llewellyn swiftly ducked into his room as his worry for his Meister and his training as a servant had him pushing aside the embarrassment and other emotions churning inside of him. He quickly retrieved his cupcake container before he returned to the doorway and once more took hold of Lady Alice's hand, which felt rather nice even if it was gloved. Then, Llewellyn began to guide the two of them out of the house and towards the DWMA where the party was being held.

During their trip over to the Academy, Llewellyn was given some more time to think upon his earlier, embarrassing action. It would not have bothered him quite so much if Lady Alice had simply responded to his gesture in some manner. A laugh, a verbal response, a few words of disgust or disdain. Any of those would have been preferable to the silence he had been granted. Today truly is not a good day for me. Not only have I disrespected Lord Baira and the lesson he had been trying to depart, but now I have quite possibly caused even more discomfort for Lady Alice. I suppose I have two apologies to make now. The majority of their trip had been spent in silence. A silence that had greatly unsettled Llewellyn and reminded him with every second that he was failing at his duties of being both a servant and a Weapon. It was only when Llewellyn had finally brought the two of them to the courtyard of the Academy that his grip on Lady Alice's hand and his worries were released, for now he had to look and act presentable in front of the rest of their class. Whatever issues he had brought to his Meister would have to be dealt with later.

Of course, she heard nothing but silence for a short moment. Barely any rustling coming from the other side of the locked door. The blonde felt her partner through the door, on top of that she could see him too if she used her Soul Perception. Though using it for a moment like this wasn't worth it. If he didn't come to the door, or even say a word in the next minute or so, she would have walked to the party by herself. It wouldn't have been a big deal if she had, she was more than capable of handling herself, though only to an extent. Hearing the door begin to open, her emeralds looked up, watching as her weapon came into view, offering a soft smile that felt like it almost stopped her heart What... Wait why is he smiling at me like that? getting any kind of reaction out of him was like pulling teeth. But right here, right now, here he was, offering a smile to her. Double checking to see if it wasn't her outfit, she glanced down and then back at him as he leaned for her gloved hand. Taking it softly within his own before pressing his lips to the soft fabric on the top of her hand. Pink rushing to her cheeks, her eyes seemed glued to him as she watched him do this action without warning.

If anything, it left her speechless. His smile still remained on his face while locking eyes on her own. H-He's like...A different person, but not... she was confused. Did Baira actually get him to act this way after the fight? Was Lew thinking this whole time in his room and trying to sort things out? Speaking to her, his tone was still soft, as if he was touching a delicate flower and speaking softly to it. Lew told her clear as day that he would be delighted to come to the party with her. As much as Alice wanted to reply, she couldn't, the words just wouldn't come out no matter what she tried to do. When he moved away and released her hand, she almost felt like she was left alone. Perhaps even empty I scared him with my silence, didn't I? she asked herself. Emeralds looking over his costume -which looked really fitting on him- and admiring the craftsmanship of it. Had to be Morika who made it, after all, some people admitted asking her for a costume to be made. For Alice, she wanted to get something herself, and thus here she was with a witch costume that did expose some skin but it wasn't bad. Just common cleavage and a little bit of belly showing. Nothing that could be considered against the rules.

Llewellyn returned to her, his hand grasping hers and guiding her out of the house. Cheeks now red instead of pink as she walked with him, unable to find words to speak to him. So their trip was quiet, but Alice did squeeze his hand every so often, though it seemed like he didn't notice. Feeling his hand holding her own was new, especially in a situation like this. His was warm, gentle but firm as he walked with her. I want to ask him questions, I want to talk to him...But I'm so shocked I can't even form a simple word. They ascended up the stairs, hand-in-hand and silence still between them. Hell, even the voice in her head was silent, so it made the blonde feel more unsettled. Before she knew it, they were both on top of the stairs in the courtyard, music faintly being heard but loud enough to make out a beat and some lyrics. Definitely a party going on here, especially with how Halloween-y it sounded. Her partner had released her hand and slipped from her grasp, feeling that same emptiness she felt earlier. I feel like I'm depending on my partner for comfort. As soon as we come into contact, one of us always acts weird... I'm so used to Lew acting weird whenever I touched him, that now it's suddenly my turn to feel weird...

Looking at him, she contemplated on what she should do. They were in public, but it wasn't like she was going to think of anything scandalous. If words can't get out, surely my actions will. she thought to herself, grabbing her partner's hand briefly to get his attention before suddenly going on ahead and giving him a hug. If others saw, then who cared? It was a hug, a simple gesture that could be used at anytime. While her mind remained silent from the other voice inside her head, it didn't stop other thoughts from racing. The hug felt like it was lasting an eternity, but it gave her enough comfort and relaxed her nerves. The blonde then slowly released her partner after barely one minute passed, before looking up at him and offering her own soft smile to him. "Thank you, Llewellyn." Alice said, her tone soft but also appreciative. In his mind, he was probably thinking he didn't do anything. But in hers? He did plenty in just a small amount of time. It also made her feel as if he actually did care about their partnership, instead of just...putting some kind of wedge she felt was between them.

75463240_p1_master1200.jpgShinobu Basili

As Rin spoke more and more about her day at work, Shinobu gradually found herself relaxing. She didn't know why, but mundane problems like workplace drama and shift changes always did make her feel somewhat more composed. Maybe it was the slaying Kishin for the DWMA, or maybe it was the lifetime she'd spent under thumb of a fashion-crazed crime-boss, but Shinobu just couldn't help but enjoy the simple problems in life. Even the awkward interactions she had with her own boss's son due to his clear favoritism seemed like a relaxing trip down the river compared to blowing a homicidal, magical grave robber's head off.

Now she knew that this wasn't a sentiment shared by all, especially given the her partner's particular relation with that particular classmate, so she kept quiet about that. Instead she gave a solemn nod of understanding, hoping to at least get across that she understood the tribulations that Rin had to go through over the course of the day. All the while, she made sure to keep an eye on Hanako. As if on cue, Rin offered an explanation for her sister's odd words earlier. Shinobu tilted her head at the mention of a brother, thinking back to whether they'd brought him up in the time that she spent with the Hagiharas. But upon seeing Rin bite her lip, Shinobu figured that it was something embarrassing for her to talk about.

She couldn't help it, but listening to Rin talk about her brother like that eventually led to her eyes wandering back to Hanako. Watching her skip ahead of them happily, Shinobu wondered just what her own siblings were doing right now. She'd always been told how the Basili family were a versatile and wide spread family of magic users as she grew up. Mostly from members of the Yojiware-Kai, mostly just to talk about how hilarious it was that she was the only non-witch in the family, mostly from Dormu trying to make her trip while on a runway. All in all, the idea of getting in touch with her family had always been sitting in the back of her mind. It wasn't likely to her even back then, as she had to work like a dog in the mud just to try and get her mother's attention... which she pretty much never got most of the time.

But what would it be like? If she did have magic and was a real Basili like the rest of them, would she have something like what Rin and Hanako had? Something like she and her distant brother had? Thinking along those lines just reminded Shinobu that such things weren't worth thinking about. No matter how much she wanted to consider it, no magic equals no family fun times in the simplified form of her mother's words. Hell, thinking of it now there was no way she could even consider having something like Rin and her brother did. Despite the Basili apparently being massive in the magic world, she knew next to nothing about them as individuals. If asked by someone else, there was no way she'd be able to give a detailed description of one of them like Rin was doing. And with a genuine smile on her face like that? Nope, it just wasn't in the cards for Shinobu.

She shook those thoughts off as Rin expressed her gratitude for her going to the party with them. At that point, Shinobu made sure to stifle the response she was going to give before it was too late. For the vast majority of her life she couldn't remember herself having a party with others. Birthdays, holidays, and other events often got hijacked by Dormu as an excuse for more damn Fashion shows. As such she couldn't even recall the last time she'd celebrated her birthday with anyone other than herself and her Meister trainer that one time. There was no way in hell she'd be giving Dormu another excuse to assault her with another one of his violent dressing montages.

"Oh? Well I'm actually glad that I get to go to a party that isn't turned into a heart-stopping fashion show." Shinobu responded whilst reaching back to rub the back of her head "I mean, you wouldn't believe how often it-"

Then she heard it, a greeting from behind. It was a familiar voice that she placed immediately, having heard it many of times since she'd enrolled in the DWMA. It was Elgin, it had to be, Shinobu was fairly good with voices. But as she turned with Rin to look back at him, both his greeting and his expression seemed to violently drain of confidence only to be replaced with an all too apparent touch of fear. It was only upon recognizing the surprised expression did Shinobu put two and two together. From behind, Rin's appearance was mostly obscured by her outfit. Elgin didn't even know what he'd done...

...and by now... it was far too late.

But Shinobu wasn't about to let things turn out like the last times. Elgin was yet another particular student with a particular relation to Rin that Shinobu knew all to well. This time, she wasn't about to just let them get into another awkward interaction, at least not if she could help it. She thought quickly, thinking of a way she could keep the ball rolling without being... too intrusive. Her saving grace came in the form of the young girl that Elgin had with him. She seemed to know Hanako, and Shinobu wasn't exactly one to pass up an easy solution like that.

"Well that's fortunate," she said whilst looking Hanako and her friend over "I was worried you'd get bored hanging some older folks like us, but knowing you've got a friend around your age to play with is pretty reassuring."

She walked over to Rin and Elgin and strategically placed herself in between them, "I'm assuming she's with you?" she nudged Elgin before nodding ahead of them "Good timing, the stairs are just up ahead."

When Morika was finally able to calm down and let the medication take it's effect, she noticed a few of her classmates all outside and talking amongst themselves. Morika pursed her lips and held her chin in her hand. Should I go talk to them? I want to know how Rin's costume turned out. If there's any problems, I need to know. Come to think of it, how many people are going to be wearing their costumes? I bet they look amazing.

Morika squealed quietly to herself at the thought of her clients arriving and looking beyond amazing in their costumes. She couldn't wait to see how Llewellyn's costume turned out as his was rather tricky. Morika wasn't really able to take his measurements, so she hoped that everything fit comfortably.

Speaking of which, Morika remembered seeing Juri rush inside with Akron and a genuine happy smile came to her face.
Maybe I can ask Akron for a dance? He's my friend, so maybe he will be happy to dance with me? Morika wondered as worry coursed through her veins.

Morika shook her head to rid herself of the worried thoughts and smushed her face with both of her hands to prepare herself for a mental pep talk.
No. I can't think that way. My Mama didn't raise me to not take action or to not speak up! If he doesn't accept my request to dance it's not the end of the world. I have other friends who might want to dance with me too. With that thought in mind, Morika marched back inside and looked around for a moment to see if she could find Juri or Akron.

It took her a couple of seconds, but when she was able to find them she hurriedly made her way over to them. When she reached them she decided to let the butterflies that had grown and fluttered in her stomach free and speak her mind.
"Hello Juri and Akron. I have a question." Morika blushed lightly and held out her hand to Akron while the other grabbed the skirt of her dress as she curtsied. "May I have this dance Akron?"

"Ack no! Don't reveal my identity to the world!" Gwen griped while lightly beating her smaller fists against Baira's larger one after he pulled down her hood. Curses! Now everyone knew Gwen was just putting up a front and was going to figure out she was secretly evil! Great! "For that you will need to make it up to you're queen once we get there." Gwen jokingly huffed while pulling her hood back up and downing the glass of water quickly. "Now lets roll! The streets are spooky tonight and the Dark Irina shall make them scream as she passes!!!" she declaring with an over dramatic hauntingly laugh.

To say the least the Weapon kept true to her word on ensuring they would reach the school in time. She hated the impression of being fashionably late. No! In a race being late meant you go home with nothing and feel bad about it as you watch the victor drive off with the spoils! That wasn't how a Wheeler rolled! However that said, the speed limit was more of a....guideline for the youngest member of the family. She took turns sharp, she hit the gas when the light turned yellow, and finally she parallel parked perfectly....by doing a drift straight into the spot between the two average looking cars. All with a minute to spare.

Now that was what Gwen called being fashionable!

"Look and behold DWMA!!!!" Gwen declared upon the shoulders of Baira as they reached the top of the school. "The Angel of Combustion and Wolf of Might have arrived to party this evening!!!!" she said with a visible grin and throwing up peace signs in the air while she did so.

Firmly seatbelted in, Baira had long since learnt his lesson the first time he had ridden in the Dark Irina, the unpleasant feeling of being lurched forward and hitting his face along the dashboard being an experience he would rather not have to go through again. Gwen's driving was nothing less than sublime and it had only been down to some idiotic driving of the car ahead of them that had caused Gwen to suddenly break. Ever since that unfortunate event, he had been sure to make sure he was buckled in tightly and today was no different.

With his head sticking out the window for the duration of the drive and his magician cap firmly in his lap, Baira had allowed his hair to flow wildly against the rushing wind all the while taking in the sights, sounds and scents of the festivities taking place all around them. However it was the sight of three scantily clad women in costume crossing the road that had caught Baira's full attention; the wolf stepping out of the car as the dark Irina waited at a red light; just so he could escort the three of them safely across the road; only to get a honk from Gwen for his efforts. Baira rushing back into the car and forgetting about the seat belt as they sped off towards the party.

Smiling to himself for the rest of the drive, it wasn't long before they arrived at the parking spots, Gwen doing her best to leave an impression upon the few onlookers that had turned their heads towards the noise of her engine. Drifting straight into a free spot between two cars, Baira having forgotten to buckle in this time had found his face buried in Gwen's lap from the momentum of the car, the wolf in magician's clothing unable to prevent himself from being flung over to her side of the car.

A meek smile as he picked himself up, Baira did not even address the awkward situation and had instead hurried straight out of the car, picking his cap along the way and placing it firmly upon his head, bending down to the side mirror to make sure that it was tilted at just the right angle. "Well Gwen~! We made it on time!" stated Baira, intentionally ignoring what had happened in the car. "... and look, even now all their eyes are upon us.. Haha~!" Baira pointed towards the group of onlookers in costume; an arrogant smirk now spread across Baira as he felt that his costume put theirs to shame.

"Shall we?" he inquired shortly after, picking Gwen up and placing her upon his shoulder as they made their way towards the stairs and up towards the academy. Even with Gwen upon his shoulder, Baira had passed several others on the stairs; the smile on his face never fading as they hurried up into the school; a loud howl escaping his mouth as Gwen introduced the pair of them to anyone and everyone who had been outside and listening.

Flexing in front of everyone outside, the pair of them after a few minutes had finally found their way into the large hall; the decorations catching Baira's eye instantly as he marvelled at it all. Back in his village, he would have never imagined such glitz and glamour being possible

Unable to resist himself, another howl had escaped Baira; the wolf announcing their arrival into the dance hall.

I look ridiculous.

Thus was the primary thought of the nightmare clad Arthur as he strode down the street of Death City, following Elgin's lead. He had long since attributed both Elgin's and Winry's compliments to simply being polite. Normally she wouldn't think something like that of Winry, but this was a special case. The dark night obscured pieces of his form, while the blood red coat reminded all that has very much so present. The weight of the unique garb (heavier than clothes yet lighter than armor) kept his posture slightly different than normal, and far more menacing. His fingers twitched with anxiety as they walked the street, unintentionally level with his guns. Everyone who looked at him looked twice, their expressions ranging from grins of mockery to gasps of judgement. A baby they passed even started crying at the sight of him.

Yup, ridiculous.

At this point, the only things keeping him from dipping into an alleyway and vanishing into the night were Winry and Elgin checking on him every few minutes and the fact no one could see his face. Beyond that, this whole Halloween thing was giving him quite the interesting sensation. He was wearing the garb of the thing that once kept him up at night. He had conquered his fear to the point where he could become it unfazed. Granted, it probably wasn't part of the tradition to literally wear the garb of your fear, but it was easier than going out and finding this stuff reproduced. How anyone could make a costume was beyond him entirely.

Elgin breaking off from their little group would catch Arthur's attention. Scanning to see why he would leave, he caught sight of the three individuals his partner was approaching, and the look on said partner's face that usually ended with a nosebleed.

Wait...

Arthur, who was trained how to size up his foes and remember them, recognized these three's physique.

I have to warn him!

While he would inevitably be too late, anyone standing in front of Elgin would see Arthur's masked, menacing visage reach a hand out towards the weapon, like a reaper collecting his due.

It didn’t take all that long for Morika to appear again once Juri and Akron had arrived upon Morika‘s approach Akron’s relaxed demeanour would quickly be replaced by the blank and straight calmness. Morika outstretching her arm caused Akron to flinch back a little reflexively. “Yes?” He’d respond with a hint of curiosity in his calm voice, though he wasn‘t at all ready for what Morika would ask...

The clanking of metallic plates was the only sound to permeate the bleak hallway broken and crooked picture frames hung from each wall each one contained a painting or photo of a woman all of them shared one thing in common an accusatory glare that even if it was just an inanimate object still felt like it was gnawing at the soul of any onlooker. Akron walked down this hall every day much like the scars that covered his skin each of these pictures and portraits were a constant reminder of how... Wrong he was, how inadequate he was, how no matter what he’d never be correct, for something so malformed as Akron it was the only end. he‘d pause to look at one particular picture frame letting out a long sigh as he stared at it, his own picture It lacked the same glare instead it was Akron breaking down in tears he looked pathetic, but that was just how his life would be. The silence was broken once again by a sharp screeching noise the sound of metal scraping along metal. Akron froze in place his eldest sister making no casually waking into his view. Each of the woman‘s fingers was instead with a scythe-like blade one hand running across Akron armour as she came into view. Both her eyes were a deep black with a small red dot in the centre emanating from her eyes were jagged black and red lines travelling across her body they seemed as if they were cracks in her body. She’d smile sweetly at Akron her hand grabbing his face to pull down to her own eye level “awwww look at you big tough Akron hey? Got yourself a shiny new shell gotta say it looks great“ Akeyno would speak with an uncharacteristically kind tone still Akron said nothing remaining perfectly still, yet Akeyno continued “awwww what’s wrong not being talkative today? Come on Akey honestly you would look better if you took that helmet off“ she‘d say still acting friendly. Akron had a hard time understanding was she being.... nice? To him? It warmed his heart just a little. Of his own accord, Akron would make a move he‘d come to regret... he’d take his helmet off, Akeyno’s sweet smile turned to one Akron knew all to well a sinister grin. Moments later Akron was left face first on the floor deep cuts along his face forming a pool of red around the now sobbing boy it was not the wounds that Caused him pain but that small moment he really thought he might have a sister.

That memory played back in Akron’s mind In real-time to only to a few seconds Akron looking like he zoned out just a bit gently shaking his head he’d look down at Morika with fear though that was all hidden behind the calm look he had upon his face. The girl had been nice and kind... she’d made Akron a dress and all.... she’d called him her friend.... and now... now... she was asking for a dance.... Akron couldn’t help feeling this was some type of elaborate plan to get back at him after he’d slipped up earlier today, and now he was conflicted if he agreed he’d have no clue what would happen and if he didn’t then..... at that point Akron made his mind up.
Looking down at Morika and then over to Juri for a moment so as to give her a small smile Akron would take a deep breath before taking Morika’s outstretched hand “very well then, although.. I will warn you I’m not very good at dancing“ he‘d finally reply walking with her a little bit further way Akron would then close his eyes. It was true as he’d said he had no clue how to really dance the best he could think of was to just go with the flow, soon as he’d do so it was as if the beast that resided deep inside him had wrapped its tendrils around him, for there was only ever one dance a Cravenedge truly knew. Akron would take Morika’s other hand gently before he’d begin, it was the same dance that had played out all to many times in his head, a dance for two but controlled by one Morika having to do comparatively very little to follow along. The moves were all sharp and aggressive yet somehow still elegant Akron’s incredibly long hair fluttering along in the dancing pairs wake as would his dress, and for a little while all the pent up fears and emotions just melted away Akron almost forgot who was in front of him as he danced.

Rin didn't get to respond to Shinobu as someone spoke up, mainly toward her and seemingly like right behind her. Almost attempting at flirting with her, that alone irritated her and she paused her walk and turned toward the guy, only to realize it was Elgin. Going from confident to fear within seconds, knowing that it was him who was trying to hit on her seemed to push her into a state of annoyance, and almost a state to point her gun at him. But because of her little sister, she refrained from showing such violence. On top of that, her expression was relaxed, aside from the tick mark on her head and the singular drop of sweat on her temple. Her eyes seeming to glow within the dark as she glared at him. You're kidding me. Elgin. Out of all people he could have flirted with, he chooses me? Maybe because Shinobu was too tall and he felt less inclined. wait, how come he didnt even recognize Shin standing next to her? She was wearing her same fancy clothes! Either this boy was stupid, or he was actually looking for a death wish. At first, Rin had forgiven him in her mind for the first time he had caused issues, which was looking up her skirt on the first day of school. But now, here he was, choosing to flirt with the wrong girl.

Shinobu decided to stand between the two, seeming to create a wall to prevent further damage. At least Shinobu knows when I'm about to pull a gun on someone... she thought. Tilting her head slightly to look past her and to Elgin, she noticed a hand coming out to grab him and with quick movements, she moved forward, her arm shifting into a gun and stopping that hand. Upon doing this, however, she was shoved up against her partner and her arm was extended enough to protect her teammate (despite his stupid words and actions). Without soul perception, she didn't know who it could be. The figure quickly moved out of her line of sight and was suddenly on her left, pointing a gun he had himself at her. With wide eyes, Rin looked at the masked figure, eyebrows furrowing before eyes narrowed. Putting her transformed gun down, she stared at the man, then his gun, then the man again as she pulled herself from her partner and continued to stare. "I swear if that's you, under that suit, Arthur." she said, her voice high, before storming toward him, noticing the change of demeanor which made it click for the young teen "Are you kidding me!?" she shouted, her hands clenched as she glared up at him "Are you crazy? Trying to grab Elgin like that! You made me think you were some creep coming to steal some teens or something!" he also had that stupid gun pointed at her. With a sigh, she put her one hand on her hip and her other hand to rub her temples. Today was just getting more and more eventful.

Hanako paused her walking as she heard a familiar voice, her wand held still in the air while processing who it was. Upon putting her wand down, she looked behind her and seen two unfamiliar boys with her sister and Shinobu. Her crimson eyes catching sight of her friend that she goes to school with. Excitement in her eyes, she ran over, her shoes clicking on the cobblestone floor as she outstretched her arms and hugged Winry. When asked about the party and her costume, she nodded in response before speaking softly. Hanako grew shy around strangers, so she usually didn't talk very loudly "I am coming to the party... I love your costume as well..." she pulled away from the hug and offered her a small smile before looking up at her sister, who was looking at the white-haired boy. Looking between the two, she blinked for a few moments, not sure why the boy looked fearful of his sister. Looking back at Rin, she seen the same relaxed expression but there was something slightly different but she couldn't put her finger on it. She then turned her attention to the larger form behind Elgin, who looked like he went to grab him. She sensed no evil from him. Was he perhaps another student? Winry had come from the same Direction and hadn't flipped out so, maybe he was a friend? By her older sister's reaction, it was possible he wanted to hurt the white-haired guy. Rarely did she ever see Rin's weapon form come out, so this was one of those times. Then, her sister soon returned to her, being patted on the head by her "I'm sorry you had to see that, Hanako." she said, the younger sister shaking her head and instantly forgiving her older sister. Just taking in the scenes unfolding in front of her and Winry.

With so much going on, no one seemed to notice that Rin's parents had come up to check up on the situation. Her father dressed up as Jack Skellington while her mother was in a Sally costume. "Rin, Shin? I didn't think we'd catch up to you since you had left earlier than us." Rin's mother said, taking a look at the three that were now with the girls. A young boy with white hair and another who seemed to have a pretty good looking costume going on. It looked menacing, dark even, of course her father spoke up about it and didn't seem too terrified of it. "Oh dont mind him, he's just into details sometimes." she said, suddenly feeling something hug her legs. When looking down, she spotted Hanako hugging her legs "Hi there Hanako." she said with a warm smile, giving her a soft pat upon her head as well. It was clear where Hanako and Rin had gotten their different hair colors from. Dark hair for Rin from her father and White hair for Hanako from her mother. But the eyes had definitely came from her mother. All siblings possessing such eyes. "We're going to go to the festival, get some candy apples and wonderful treats." she told both her daughters, booping Hanako before looking over at Winry and giving her a friendly wave before Hanako tapped her to gain her attention again. When looking down, Hanako gestured for her to lean down as she whispered into her ear if she could go with them to the festival "But what about your friend?" she asked before Hanako looked back at Winry and then whispered to her mom again "Alright, well, go ask her." she was surprised by the change of heart, but since she was only ten, some things usually sounded better than others.

Hanako then whispered into Winry's ear, asking if she wanted to go to the festival with her parents. Of course Winry instantly threw out the idea of the party and shouted out about how she wanted to go. Rin was surprised by this, blinking a few times and definitely caught off guard. Her parents had showed up and now they were..going to take the girls to the festival? Another sigh escaped her lips as she spoke "So I guess the girls are going with you, mom?" Rin asked, "It seems so. Which isnt a big deal at all." her mom looked at Elgin and then back at Winry, not seeing much similarity but when Winry spoke up and tugged on Elgin's cloak a little, she told him she was gonna go with Rin's parents before running up to the teen weapon's mother, grabbing her one hand while Hanako did the same. "I really hope you dont mind me taking her to the festival." said her mother to Elgin "I'll be sure to keep an eye on her and keep her safe." she then looked at Rin "I'll call if anything happens, okay?" Rin nodded her head and watched her parents head off with the girls, taking them to the festival to go have fun. Well at least the girls wouldn't be at the party, which made things a little easier in a sense. No longer having to worry about the girls and what happens at the party now, mingling would be a lot easier at this point now. "Well, that happened. You can count on my mom to protect our sisters, so dont worry about it too much." Rin said almost carelessly, turning away and speaking once more "If you try flirting with me like that ever again, Elgin, you better count your lucky stars and hope my sister is here to save you."

With that said, Rin walked off, soon the group following suit up the stairs and to the school where they walked by familiar classmates and into the building. Music blaring in her ears as she walked into the large ballroom that was decorated all Halloween themed, definitely Halloween-like music playing too. Her crimson eyes looked around in search for her classmates while speaking loudly due to the music "This doesnt look half bad!" she said, she wasn't used to a party scene like this but it didn't mean she wasn't gonna make the best out of it. However there was something off about the room that Rin's eyes were suddenly drawn to, seeing two figures hanging out on the chandeliers, A figure with long hair while another hanged out right next to her. Upon further inspection, she began to recognize who was up there "Shin i'll be back." Rin said, walking into the room and closer to the chandelier, looking up at it. How would I even get this to Elvy? she asked herself, knowing that if she even tried to scream, it wouldnt work. Pursing her lips for a moment, she came up with an idea and pulled her phone out along with the right box for Elvy from her small bag before going into her phone and turning on and off her flash toward the pair up top. Trying to get her attention. Basically just starting with an S.O.S.

Morika smiled so widely and brightly, her cheeks hurt and her happiness practically rolled off of her in waves. She couldn't remember the last time she danced with someone like this. Well, that's not true. The last time Morika danced like this was with her Father before he got too sick.

Morika smiled as she let the memory run it's course in her head. Little Morika giggled happily as her Father's large hands held her up as they danced. A happy little tune played in the background as her Mother was recording their time together.

Morika squealed in delight as her Father danced with her all across their living room on his toes. It had been the first time and the last time that they would ever dance like this, and both of Morika's parents wanted to make as many happy memories as possible before the illness got worse.

Morika squealed in delight as she spinner both herself and Akron on the dance floor. "This is so much fun! I haven't done this for a long time." Morika cheered happily as she did her best to lead them in their dance. Her skirt swirled and expanded with every turn they took. "Thank you for dancing with me." Morika said genuinely happy and grateful. "And if you are worried about the dress, I want you to keep it. I made it special for you. Because you are my friend and making nice things for my friends makes me happy."

When Alice grabbed hold of Llewellyn's hand, the servant had expected the girl to sternly warn him off from touching her again before the two of them entered the party. It would have made some sense too, for Llewellyn had clearly breached Lady Alice's personal space and had just about dragged her all throughout Death City, which had to be nothing less of mortifying for the girl. Though, when he instead felt his Meister's arms wrap around him, Llewellyn was not entirely certain what to think. Is Lady Alice attempting to squeeze the life out of me for my earlier insolence? No, her grip is too gentle for that. What else could she be- wait, is milady hugging me!? The servant's face reflected his thoughts as it took on a quizzical look before morphing into one of incredulity. This very moment did not make any sense to him. No one hugged their servant, much less allowed the lower beings such as himself to so much as touch their betters.

Llewellyn knew that he should have pushed Lady Alice off of him, lest her action cause a potential scandal amongst the other students, thus ruining her social connections. He knew that it was improper for the girl to be embracing him, yet when Llewellyn moved his arms to push Lady Alice away, he instead returned her hug. The servant had no idea as to why he was doing this, even as he relaxed in his Meister's arms while some odd liquid trickled down his cheeks. Hopefully the fluid was not mucus, for that would be utterly repulsive and it would potentially ruin Lady Alice's evening. Then, after taking a moment to mentally assess the liquid's point of origin, Llewellyn was shocked to discover that it was originating from his eyes. Am I....crying? Another moment was taken to think on the mental question as another track of moisture made its way down his cheek. I am. Why? Why am I crying? I should be stopping this so Lady Alice does not receive any scandalous rumors, not standing here, enjoying her embrace and crying. The servant mentally chastised himself even as he felt his arms tighten their grip around his Meister.

It was a pleasant sensation, hugging someone. It was not unlike holding velvet in your hands or running cool water over a burn. Though, what Llewellyn felt was much grander than that, even as he tried to protest against the sensation of comfort Lady Alice's action had caused. He felt content, happy even. In fact, Llewellyn felt as though he were complete. Almost as if he were one giant jigsaw puzzle that had finally found its missing piece. It was a rather unusual, perplexing sensation that he did not readily know how to deal with. Though, Llewellyn did notice that he missed the feeling when Lady Alice began to pull away and he was reluctantly forced to let go of the girl.

When Alice thanked him, Llewellyn was confused as to what she had been thanking him for, though for once he did not question her reasoning. "you are welcome milady." The young man whispered, his voice partially cracking and vulnerable as he turned his head slightly to the side in order to hide the tear tracks on his face. Llewellyn then wiped his face with one of his sleeves to get rid of the evidence of him crying. Then, he cleared his throat and tried to speak as he normally did, yet the young man's voice still came out much softer than usual. "We should head inside. It would be a shame to miss out on the festivities." A small smile was upon Llewellyn's face again as he held out his hand for Alice, only for his eyes to widen at realizing his action. The smile faltered and Llewellyn's hand lowered as he remembered that his place as a servant was not at the side of his master. Then, before Lady Alice could ask him about his sudden shift in attitude or anything else she may have notice, Llewelyn walked forwards and entered the Academy.

Feeling her partner wrap his arms around her in a hug had surprised her just as much as everything else had been since they left the house. Constantly catching her off guard and having her expect one thing while he reacted with the opposite. Though, some things didn't change, such as him calling her Milady. Again, a word she hated to hear just because of her origin. She was never better than anyone, she seen everyone as equals with strengths and weaknesses just like herself. I'm not going to get upset at him right here. We're here to have fun, not have our usual scuffles like we do at home. As she looked at him with her emeralds, he turned his face away while talking in a softer tone than usual. Furrowing her eyebrows, she wanted to ask what was wrong but refrained as he wiped his face with his sleeve. Her heart almost sinking Did I...No...? his voice had still come out soft as he spoke to her before offering his hand again with a small smile. Just before she could reach for his hand, he dropped it and then began to walk away. Her hands by her sides as she watched her partner enter the school. He's okay. He'll be fine. When we get home, we can talk if he really needs to say something.

Alice thought to herself with a firm nod, noticing more students going inside and she hurried after Lew, being careful with her heels. The blonde was nowhere close to knowing how to properly jog or even quick walk in these. But she made do, keeping up with her partner and heading to the large ballroom where music blasted out and into the halls. Even a howl going through the halls. Clearly everyone partying by now and as soon as the pair got to the door, she poked her head out from behind Lew, since she was holding onto him to avoid falling behind. Her eyes wide at the decorations, lights, and the amount of students inside talking to each other, dancing, or even hanging around the table filled with sweets. "Wow!" she said, clearly surprised as she moved next to her partner and looked at him, getting a surge of energy from the room "C'mon Lew! We gotta go check out all the costumes! Oh and find some of our classmates too!" she took both her hands and grabbed one of his, tugging him inside the room, clearly excited. Once in the room, she released his hand and turned around, her eyes sparkling with awe.

The music was intense on its own too. Spooky but also had a metal vibe to it. Almost making her want to dance. But did she really want to? So many emotions were starting to surface all at once. Excitement, but also some Fear, with some anxiety sprinkled on top. The blonde almost wanted to hop but she couldn't in these heels. Not without the proper training in them. With all the emotions and energy coming out of her body, it was almost overwhelming for her.
