DWMA ADVENTURES1591057175541.pngA hint of satisfaction filled Marcus' body as he heard the painful groans of the male before him. A grinned formed on his face as his body was attacked my Marcus' soul wavelength, technically called the Soul Force. Being thought this by his grandfather, Marcus has never used it against anyone else outside of training sessions until today. He was proud of himself that even a small dosage was effective enough to paralyze his body. Marcus placed his hands into his pockets as he kept his gaze onto the student before him. Marcus was ready if he manage to recover and retaliate even more. He knew not to underestimate anyone despite how injured or harmless they may seem. Speaking of harmless, Marcus couldn't help but to eyeball his other companions. He knew that even the smallest and adorable of females can be the most dangerous and the quiet ones are always hidden something.

Marcus' attention was placed upon a newcomer, who came up trying to defuse the situation. She seemed like the sweet and innocent type, but currently right now, Marcus didn't care much about first impressions. Not even for some teacher of this academy. "Honestly I could care less about a tea-" Marcus was moments away from making a mistake that he would probably regret sooner or later. The bald man, from before stood besideMarcus towering over him and just about everyone else. Marcus didn't have to look at his soul, he could just tell from standing next to him just how powerful this man really was. His very presence demanded authority. He stepped back away from the man and the group of friends before him, getting a much better look at him. The guy had to be a little monster in a fight. Marcus followed him with his eyes as he defused yet another situation between Rin and another student. Marcus didn't know what caused her to pull her guns out, but he knew he didn't want to be on the other end of that barrel. With everything now calmed down to an extent and a tour was starting Marcus approached the group from before yet again. He glances down towards the student from before and says, "Look, its the first day and early in the morning. Let's just drop this bull here and now and pretend none of this ever happened. Cool? The names Marcus Rung by the way." After saying what he had to say without an actual apology or asking for anyone else's name Marcus proceeds to follow everyone inside.

Not even a full two minutes into the tour, Marcus was already tuning out everything around him. His headphones were on his head, with the noise cancellation mode on. He was listening to some chill, relaxed hip-hop instrumentals as he walked the school halls. He was free-styling to some o fat beats in his head, keeping a low profile. As he walked, he scanned the walls keeping a mental note of where everything was, trying to make a mental map of this place. Soon enough the tour ended with them entering a classroom. Marcus sat in the middle, slouched in his chair. He attempted to listen to whatever lecture Armstrong was going to give, but after a minute or two of hearing his voice, Marcus lost interest. He placed his headphones on yet again and just simply read Armstrong's lips to the best of his ability. Some of the things he mentioned he was already taught to by his father, grandpa, and even his eldest cousin Ikora. Wavelengths, Kishins, different souls, and even the goal to collect 99 souls and a witches soul to turn his weapon into a Death Scythe. A feat his cousin was able to accomplish before she even turned 20. As time went all, Marcus gave up on fighting against the urge to fall asleep and simply passed smooth out. He lost interest and track of time. Marcus awakens just as the lecture was coming to an end. He wiped the drool off his face and took his headphones off, listening as he spoke about the teaching for the next few days, missions and finally outside. Marcus let out a yawn as he stood up stretching. "I guess I'll be sleeping in class these next few days." He says watching as others left the classrooms. He couldn't but notice a white haired girl dragging someone out of the classroom. That reminds me of my dad dragging me out of bed. He thought to himself as he left the classroom. If he remembers correctly she was one of the girls standing within a group of folks when he first arrived.

Following the crowd, Marcus walked within the middle actually paying attention this time. But to be more specific he was really staring at the white haired girl from before. For some reason he couldn't help but take his eyes off of her. After realizing what he was doing he started to listen to music yet again trying to kept his focus off of her. He thoughts finally cleared as they entered the track and field. Marcus was in complete awe as he stared at the obstacle course in front of him. Is this a serious even that want to happen on the first day. He questioned himself. After Armstrong explained the entire even, Marcus interested spiked a bit. He kept his same calm demeanor but showed his interest by actually getting ready for the race. He found him a spot off to the side and took off all of his extra clothing placing them on the ground. He removed his jacket, chain, headphones and even his shirt. The only thing Marcus was now wearing was a black tank top t-shirt, his shorts and sneakers. Removing his shirt Marcus showed off his African safari tattoo sleeve on his left arm, along his somewhat cut physique. Marcus started his stretching before he just jumped into the obstacle course, mentally preparing himself for each event. "This should be easy." He said to himself trying to make the course seem like nothing to him. He was moments away from stepping towards the line to take off, but then the white hair girl crossed his eyes again, breaking his focus. The next thing he knew the timer had begun. Shaking his head vigorously, Marcus turns towards the track and starts to first obstacle, the 100 meter dash. Marcus was already behind the a few people, though he was in no hurry just yet. His plan was to pace himself through this part without falling too far behind. He was okay with not being in first, because he definitely didn't want to sit on that giants shoulders. That's a bit weird.

Alcross's plea fell on deaf ears as Marcus pressed on with the retaliation. Whether he had ignored or simply not heard Alcross's attempt to diffuse the situation did not matter at that point as Alcross found his arm beginning to tremble and his grip tighten as he still held onto the shoulder of the initial aggressor. It was a restless energy that seemed to accumulate in his arm, an growing surge that threatened to spill out of him as he wrestled with control. It was a short while of futility before a radiant azure glow begun to encompass his right arm entirely; a form far different to the megaphone beginning to take shape as a faint gleam of light bounced off the aqua coloured blade that had begun to take shape. Alcross had asked nicely for them to stop making a scene, he had asked them to let things slide,he had asked them to let bygones be bygones yet now Jinx had become the victim of a wavelength induced assault and Alcross couldn't sit back quietly, not when Jinx had basically waltz into this mess because of him. Jinx was family and family had to stick together regardless of the consequences. Alas faith had other ideas and thankfully Alcross soon found himself ceasing the flow of energy into his arm. The transformation was halted and his arm returned to normality, the cause being the appearance of another. Alcross from the corner of his eye saw another student approach; Crimson red hair momentarily glowing as a ray of light reflected off of it. Like a ruby, Alcross found himself momentarily entranced with the color of her hair; yet quickly brushed any other thoughts to one side.

Closing the distance between herself and this motley crew of troublemakers, the red haired girl approached, her goal similar to that of Alcross's as she too attempted to diffuse the situation. Unlike Alcross who had mumbled his words, the arrival of Camilla and her calming voice had seemed to have had more of an effect on settling the conflict between thw two fighters as she proceeded to try and help find a common ground between the two. With her arms placed on Marcus's and Jinx's shoulders, Alcross soon found himself releasing his grip on Marcus and instead placing his hand to the back of his hoodie as he pulled it over himself once more. Alcross had no desire to be caught up in an ever growing scene, he had no desire to be thrust into the spotlight, especially when that spotlight was largely quite negative. A peacemaker had arrived.

Seeing as the issue of diffusing the situation had now fallen to someone else, Alcross saw no need to stay here any longer and began to walk away, passing by Armstrong; a man of giant proportions just as he had arrived to take over. Surely with a teacher present, Jinx and Marcus would give up their argument and surely he could slip away unnoticed and perhaps his involvement in the trouble be forgotten. There was no need for Alcross to see if his cousin was alright. Zee was there to comfort him if he needed it, though Alcross doubted that he need to be comforted at all. If there was one thing Alcross acknowledged about Jinx, it was that something as trivial as this would not dampen his drive or desire. If anything it would only spurn his passion forward. Alcross was envious of that hunger, that desire and most importantly that fire in his eyes.

Sighing and pocketing both hands Alcross, now slouched over with his hood over his head began to walk over to a quieter part of the courtyard, away from any potential trouble that could occur. Peace and quiet was a scarce resource in his life, luxuries that he'd never really get to experience considering his circumstances. To even grasp 5 minutes of such was akin to finding a treasure chest full of bounty. Finding a spot to lean on, Alcross still hooded with pocketed hands began to survey the other students around here; eyes watching between the strands of black fur from his hood that obscured his face from others. Meisters, weapons, friends and foe. These were all people he'd have to get to know at some point. Allies he'd have to fight alongside with, friends he'd have to mingle with and most importantly one of them was to be his Meister. Trying to take note of their personalities and habits, Alcross had to wonder if there was anyone out there whom he would mesh with as well as those he would clash with. Was there anyone among them who could give him what he wanted? To find what he needed? Was there someone out there that could handle his dire outlook on the world?.

Glancing up towards where he had come from, it had appeared that Camilla and Armstrong's intervention had somehow managed to soothe the animosity between the his cousin and Marcus; Zee's figure visible next to his cousin as she comforted him.

A steady clinging sound followed an armoured figure as it moved through the courtyard, the plating moving and shifting with each step the figure took. Some of it had been stained with what looked like to be relatively fresh blood. This figure was named Akron. He had ended up being late for his first day at the DWMA and knew that this wasn't going to go well. The pace he had been taking was quick, rapid, showing the urgency to getting to his current destination. He had no idea where he had to go. Why was he late? Akron had slept in, to put it bluntly. He passed out and couldn't remember why he had, so the only assumption was because of possibly one of his older sisters. His hurried pace continued as he walked through the halls in search of the Track in Field. It did not take him long to come upon a set of doors which lead him out to the Field. Peeking through the window, he noticed the students had been doing Physical training and he had already tired himself out with the weight of his armour. Glad to hide behind his armour, he pushed through the doors and made his way over to the large man -who he assumed was the teacher- and spoke "Apologies...Sir...But I believe I might have missed out on what to do. I shall admit that I am late to your Orientation and ask kindly if you could repeat yourself. I would highly appreciate it." he asked in a generally flat tone, with just a hint of tiredness within it.

2923f6abe6fc72204c24bebb5c283500.jpg The way Jinx stared daggers at his assailant showed how ticked off he is. The pause was that of a Mexican-standoff, except with him squatting while recovering. There was a name to the face in front of him. Marcus Rung. A familiar surname coincidentally the same as one of DWMA's finest and meister of twin, elemental gauntlets, Thunder and Fire. A descendant much like himself and his cousin. It made sense now, Marcus was probably given expectations to uphold followed by training. He wasn't someone to be underestimated, and as proof, Jinx was given a dose of the guy's ability. The move made on himself was undefined, but Jinx was sure to find out whether or not Marcus was a meister or a weapon. Slowly, he stumbled to his feet as Marcus mentioned on dropping the misunderstanding, but Jinx wasn't about to let the guy take satisfaction. He saw right through his guise or so Jinx assumed. His violet eyes locked onto his new rival, and jot his name down on his blacklist. His hand clenched into fists as he desperately itched for payback. He wasn't the only one and as he remembered, he turned to Alcross who had vanished along with the rest of the class without so much of a word. It didn't surprise Jinx since the tired boy was the type to slip away from crowds, even as a kid. A perk Jinx admired to which the wolf boy took for granted. It was curious as to why Alcross was such a spoiled brat? Jinx would give anything to be in his shoes. He had a girl crushing on him every day asking about him and his well-being works hard to make him happy. He was blessed with unbelievable talent, loved by everyone and it all belonged under the Evans name. He never had to lift a finger in his life to get what he wanted. Jinx had to work twice as hard and actually put effort into what he wanted to do. All Jinx had was the name, weapon form, and ability. The musical side wasn't ever easy often being scolded for being distracted. He was a clutz and that is who Charlie is. His alias is a cover-up of his bland life in hopes of forging a new path. He shoved his hands into his pockets and clicked his tongue before answer Zee's question. "Yeah, I'm fine." His hues shift to the red-head. "Thanks." He said before trailing over to the tour group. It was unusual for the lad to dismiss at gawking over a beautiful dame, let alone a chance at flirting. Marcus truly pressed the man's buttons to neglect the girls.

    Tour & Class

Upon entrance of the school, Jinx marveled over the architecture. He had dreamed of this day and today he's standing inside going further into the prestigious school. This is everything he ever wanted and more. The stories foretold in perfect description, from the color walls, checkered floors to the wide corridors. A small smile forms on the male's lips as his anger subsides. His mind cleared, now filled with excitement as he tours the school. The famous Misson board covered with ads of Kishin egg activity. Purple eyes grow starry. He couldn't wait to start his first job. The tour proceeds to show every aspect of the building of vital importance. The nurse's room, the Death room, Gym, music, etc. The line ended in a classroom where each student is to take a seat and unfortunately, only the front row. Everyone spaced out and filled the column. Jinx sat down beside Zee who seemed somewhat depressed for losing Alcross, no doubt. He pats the brunette's head assuring her it's fine. The class was in session for a briefing and as Armstrong lectured, Jinx had taken the time to take a second look at the guy. He was terrifyingly huge for a human being. Surely he's a monster, right? His hair, what was up with it? One curled strand on the smack dab of his forehead no less. The guy needed a serious makeover. Perhaps a biker theme will suit nicely?
'Yeah, that will do nicely.' Thought jInx.

The basics of hunting also familiar, yet didn't sink in much when it came to specifics. In truth, intellect is one of Jinx's weak points. His score is average and in his household, it's unacceptable. It hasn't stopped him from living his life and it damn well never cease. The teen has a goal to obtain and that's to become a Death Scythe, be seen, outdo Alcross, and prove his magnificence by making his own decisions. He can hear it now. The cheers, the praises, and the glory that comes with being a Death Scythe to rub it in his cousin's face. This dream did not last as Armstrong slammed the board, startling the raven-hair. The interruption was due to a few slackers sleeping during class. Surprisingly, Jinx was not one of them, but he knew who one of them might be. His eyes shift to where Alcross sat. He seemed just as shocked. Served him right. The next topic was about housing. Why? Why is there a need to live with one another when the living situation for Jinx was just fine, however, if he is given the option to move out, swell, and otherwise, no. Though the idea of freedom and potentially being paired with a babe is also fitting. Drool cascades off the edge of his mouth imagining. Hopefully, the redhead was his partner as it will be an absolute paradise. His smile fades as a cold feeling crawls down his spine. He knew what it was, he's felt it several times since his childhood. It was a warning in the form stares coming from a demonic presence that is Zee. Cautiously, Jinx turns his head to the left to catch the brunette growling and sending daggers towards Alcross. The poor guy was doomed having such a sweet yet loony girl cling to him. It was as if he was constantly chained and it was visible within the sleepy boy. Dread matching Alcross's face unbeknownst. Whatever brought the girl's change in mood is beyond Jinx. Luckily, the briefing was over and the students were dismissed to their next destination outside. Not wanting to deal with whatever Zee is dealing with, the ebony-haired teen sneaks away with the rest of the class where in time, Alcross meets up with him and Zee. The trio reunited once again.

    Track Field
Arriving outside, gifted with an unexpected scene full of obstacles. Confusion and excitement swirl within the musical brute for a brief moment until their tour guide answers all plausible questions lingering. The objective is as simple as possible, to test their agility within each course starting with one-hundred-meter dash and ending it by ringing the bell. You didn't have to tell Jinx twice to perform, though the rewards were unorthodox to actually be worth motivated. What's even better is at the end of the trial, they get to find out who their partner is and weapons are to pick. Jinx stretched himself, warming up for the race. He smirks over to Alcross, a wide grin and a sparkle in his eyes.
"You ready second round of competition Pipsqueak or are you gonna wuss out because you're too lazy?" He grunted as he popped his neck from tilting side to side. He wasted no time for an answer trudging over to the blue line. A few people had gone ahead with the masked girl with such a rack and bouquet of flowers sprint ahead of everyone else, finishing with such pizzazz, flawlessly ending with a ring of the bell and flowers intact. "Whoa." Is all Jinx managed to spew still impressed with the babe's agileness. He hummed in thought if she was the same under the shee-his mind diverts to two other girls, a brunette boy and of course, Marcus who had dropped all of his clothes, for some damn reason. Jinx quirks a brow before growing irked as he recalls what the kid did to him. This was his chance to get back at him. He simply had to plant the seed of doubt to tick the ebony boy off and he knew just what to say. Returning to Alcross, he says "Come on slowpoke or not, I don't care. If I win I'll get to rub it in your face and tell the whole Bellagio. You'll also have to praise me for a whole week." He winked before laughing over to the line.

The minute Marcus sprinted, so too did Jinx catching up to the fellow and salute him with two fingers and a devilish grin.
"What's the matter? You can't run with all your crap around you? If you can't then you ain't got no strength.." He flicked Marcus' locks. "...Punk. By the way, the names Jinx." He sneered and peered over his shoulder to see Alcross catching up. "Whoops, gotta go! See ya slowpoke!" This is exactly what he needed. A challenge and knowing Alcross, he knew he would never let him down, but neither will he allow the Shrimp to win, not that he has won yet. Once the dash was completed, he looks back to check on his cousin and see if he was still trailing behind. He had to keep his pace to prevent the snow hair from passing him. The next course consisted of hurdles, to which Jinx dreaded showing the expression on his face, plain as day. He shook off any thoughts and forced himself to go through with it with no time to spare. There was one hurdle, two, three, and so on when quickly dealing with the final one. There was no stopping Jinx as he felt invincible as if he had an actual chance. His luck was cut short when he climbed the rock wall, and as he stepped down, he landed on something meaty and alive. Safe to say Jinx ended up tripping onto the ground letting out an 'oof'. "What the hell?" He groaned dusting himself off as he rises. His eyes widen in shock finding the source of his fall. Instead of being angry, the lad kneeled down to check on the brunette lying on the ground. The same one that was a few courses ahead. "H-hey man, are you okay? Oi!" He searched for assistance as he shakes the body for a response.

When the test had started in full, the majority of the students rushed forwards to try to catch up to the masked girl who was flying through the course with enviable grace and elegance. Truly, it was quite the sight to behold yet Llewellyn did not watch for very long. His attention was drawn over to the hurdles in front of himself where he had heard two loud clattering sounds. Llewellyn was surprised to see a tall male teen standing in the direct center of a downed male's back. The young man was certain that the situation was accidental for, the taller of the two swiftly stepped off of the other one so as to prevent any lasting damage. Still, Llewellyn decided to pick up his pace from his leisurely walk because the second thing he saw was a brunette girl with her face firmly planted into the ground.

"Are you alright milady? Are you able to stand?" The young man asked upon reaching the downed girl's side. He carefully looked her over for any injuries as he bent down and offered her a hand to help her up. It did not seem as though she had any injuries aside from a few scrapes after her rough landing, still it never hurt to be cautious in such situations. Though, Llewellyn did regret not bringing a first aid kit to the Academy because he knew that something like this was likely to occur, even on the first day. His first year here, Llewellyn's first Meister was the one to get hurt, she had twisted her ankle and the young man had taken it upon himself to carry the poor girl. Llewellyn's second year had him assisting a boy who had taken a tumble much like the brunette her, but unlike now Llewellyn actually had the first aid kit with him.

The young man cleared his mind of his past once he felt fingers softer than his clasp around his own hand. He focused in on the foreign sensation and noticed that the brunette girl had taken his offered hand. Llewellyn then helped the fallen girl back up to her feet with his other hand hovering near her to assist if neccessary. Once the girl was back up on her feet Llewellyn released her grip on her hand so that she could continue the course and just as he was about to turn to leave, Llewellyn saw the beginnings of tears welling within the girl's eyes. This stopped the young man from turning away as he had planned. Llewellyn couldn't just leave the poor girl if she was on the verge of tears for that would ruin her image and her clothes far worse than her little tumble. Besides, this would be a welcome distraction from the prison the was his mind and Llewellyn truly felt bad for the brunette and desired to help her.

"You do not need to rush through these. Take your time Milady. If you are struggling you can go over the hurdles one leg at a time." The young man gave a small, encouraging smile as he then demonstrated what he meant by placing one of his long legs over a hurdle, shortly followed by the next. Then, Llewellyn waited patiently for the brunette girl to do the same. "If you feel that you are about to fall, you may take my hand again and I shall right you. I promise that I will not let you take another rough tumble." Llewellyn had his right hand held out again as the mentioned safety line for the girl in case she did start to fall again. This was the young man's way of helping the poor girl through the hurdle section of the obstacle course. He would go over a hurdle first, then patiently wait on the girl to do the same and if she began to fall, Llewellyn would catch her and help place her back on her feet.

When the two were finally out of the hurdle section Llewellyn adjusted his pace to match the brunette's so that the two of them were side by side as the ran/jogged. "Slow your breathing, milady." The young man said after noticing how frantically the girl was puffing out air as she ran. "Take a breath in through your nose, then expel it from your mouth but don't do so quickly. Try to set a pattern, a pace if you will." Llewellyn offered this advice as it had been offered to himself and hopefully, it would be as much of a boon to the girl as it had been to him. Well, that was the hope as the two of them approached the stairs and then began to traverse up them. "Try not to rush up the stairs, milady. Take them at a pace that you are comfortable with." The advice was nearly an order, something that caused Llewellyn to wince internally for he knew that a servant was to never make demands of their betters. Still, the young man felt he would be forgiven in this instance since he was doing so to assist the brunette at his side. He didn't want the girl to burn out quickly and become dejected with a performance that did not please her.

The next obstacle after the stairs was the rock wall, which caused concern to stir within Llewellyn. The young man knew that he would be having quite a bit of trouble with this particular portion of the course and would therefore be unable to help the brunette. "Try to take this at your own pace milady, much like the stairs." Llewellyn took to one side of the wall shortly after departing his advice so that he could begin the grueling task of hauling himself up to the top. It was a long, slow climb for the young man as he carefully picked out his handholds and footholds on the wall to gradually hoist himself higher. Llewellyn's body was not quite made for a task like this or at the very least it had not been prepared for climbing, which is why the young man found his journey up the wall agonizingly slow. Still, he pushed onwards until he reached the top where he allowed himself a moment's rest. Though, Llewellyn was surprised to find the girl he was helping already there when he took a seconds of rest.

"Are you all right milady?" Llewellyn had asked once he noticed that the brunette was simply staring downwards, her skin paling ever so slowly as she did so. Was that fear? It didn't matter, the young man decided as he glanced around for a safe way down but found none. Dropping down risked spraining both his ankles and the brunette's but staying stuck up here did not help much either. Still, it did not appear as though there was any other choice since Llewellyn could not find any handholds or footholds downwards. Jumping truly was the only way down from here. "It appears as though we will need to drop down from here, milady." The young man dutifully relayed, dreading the prospect himself. "I shall go first. I will wait for you on the ground." Llewellyn felt a great deal of uncertainty well inside of himself after his declaration for it was not a sane one. Still, when faced with no alternatives, one had little choice in the matter. Llewellyn let himself drop down from the top of the rock wall. The hard, unforgiving ground rushed upwards to meet him, causing pain to blossom on the bottom of his feet and work it's way up his ankles to his calves, but aside from that, he was fine. Nothing was sprained. Nothing was broken. The only consequence was pain.
"You may head down now milady. I suggest that you do not jump for that may cause you injury." Llewellyn paced slightly in place to work out the discomforting pain in his legs as he waited for the brunette to follow his example and drop down from the wall.

The young man found himself waiting for a longer time than he had expected, but thankfully the girl did drop down. Llewellyn helped the brunette as best as he was able while checking her over for any new injuries. It simply would be terrible if she had just sprained an ankle for there was little Llewellyn would be capable of doing that would help, short of carrying her. Though, regardless of the girl's condition, they were both still expected to go across the balance beams and then the monkey bars shortly afterwards. Llewellyn hovered near the girl while they madetheir way over to the balance beams in case she was hurt. Then, as he had done on top of the rock wall, Llewellyn traversed across the beam first. The young man did so with relative ease thanks to the training Lady Helena put him through in his younger years. Then, once he had finished crossing the beam, Llewellyn hopped down and rushed back over to the brunette's side as she crossed so that he could prevent her from falling off of the beam while she walked by righting her when she lost her balance.

"You are doing well milady." Llewellyn spoke honestly as he offered the brunette his praise. The girl had completed over half the course already and while her pace was not swift, like the many other students who were far ahead of the both of them, she still persevered. This was an admirable trait to have, especially since the next three obstacles would be taking their toll on the duo as they progressed forwards. The first of which happened to be the monkey bars. Llewellyn personally found the placement of the monkey bars silly because they were normally found on play structures for little children, still the young man knew that they would now hurt thanks to the shape the rock wall had left his arms.

The young man's journey across the monkey bars was relatively swift but Llewellyn's haste still did not protect him from the stinging sensation in his hands, or the weak, jelly-like feeling in his arms. Though, Llewellyn knew that he had to push through the discomfort so that he could assist the brunette girl through her attempt at the monkey bars. There was not much for Llewellyn to do here other than to stand below and away from the girl while remaining close enough to offer her encouragement when she stopped moving. When the girl had finished her attempt, Llewellyn was once again at her side as the two of them then made their way over to the obstacle that would more than likely be the most trouble for the two, the dark maze.

Glancing up to his cousin, Jinx seemed unfazed by Armstrong's revelation of the weapons choosing the meister, the raven haired boy either uncaring of that twist or simply too caught up with the obstacle course that he had not heard it at all. Regardless it was clear as day as to what was his priority right now, this whole obstacle course being one big way to incite his competitive side and fuel the fire in his cousin. "Oh shut up. It will end like it always does" Alcross sighed in response before glancing half heartedly over to Zee as Jinx pumped himself up and left for the starting line. It wasn't that surprising to see Zee in a state of turmoil; all things considering this daunting course had to be quite the issue and to see her in such a state was simply something a good friend could not let go unnoticed.

Exhaling deeply, Alcross began to walk over to Zee, his arms presently working his jacket off of himself to reveal a simple black t-shirt underneath. Like Marcus, Alcross too had decided to shed some unnecessary weight, well in Alcross's case the long tendrils of the coat would simply create drag rather than it being heavy. It was as he began to fold it that Alcross stopped next to Zee, squatting down in front of her as she cupped her face in distress.
"Zee, its just an obstacle course" mumbled Alcross, placing a hand on her head. "Don't stress about it. Chances are, Jinx is going to make himself look like a fool again and he will be the center of attention" he continued to mumble though by now he had taken his hand off her head, pocketed it and stood fully; tossing the folded jacket over to where Marcus had discarded his own attire and then turning around to make his own way to the starting line, the sight of the masked lady starting already briefly catching his attention and causing him to stop; his back towards Zee.

"Zee. If anyone has anything to say after the race, you know that I and Jinx will be on your side right?. So don't worry about what the others may think. We will just change their opinions by force" he muttered before finally going towards the starting line, briefly passing by Llewellyn as he headed towards where Zee was. A soft glance was all Alcross offered to Llewellyn as he saw him approach Zee, before finally making his way next to Jinx as he proceeded to chastise him once more. "Yeah yeah... and if I win, you will need to walk around the campus showing everyone your dirty magazines" replied Alcross.

It came as a surprise when Jinx suddenly took off without a response, though it was clear as to why he had done so when Alcross's eyes fell upon Marcus. 'Typical' mumbled Alcross before he began; his pace not as hurried as those around him. Had it been a three man race between Alcross, Jinx and Marcus then the blue haired boy was quite easily in last place; though in reality he only needed to 'not lose' against his cousin. If Marcus had finished far ahead of them, it wouldn't have changed much for Alcross; who now found himself going over the hurdles before making his way towards the stairs; a 'free pass' considering that 15 steps was nothing compared to the mountain they had ran up this morning.

It was at the rock wall that Alcross would finally overtake his cousin; the turtle outdoing the hare to win the race. From atop the wall, Alcross watched as Jinx collided with one of the other students; his prediction of Jinx causing a scene coming true once again.
"That dumbass" he muttered briefly as a student overtook him; meanwhile Alcross took the easy route down the wall; making sure he didn't kamikaze land on someone.

"Did you really have to kill someone?" sighed Alcross aware that Arthur wasn't actually dead, stopping next to the duo and placing a palm to his face as Jinx began to violently shake the collapsed teen. "Oi.. you idiot, that isn't going to help him... only give him whiplash" interjected Alcross, placing his own hands on Arthur to try and stop Jinx from breaking his neck. Alcross was well versed in being shaken in such a manner and he knew for a fact that his life had been closed to being snuffed out on several of those occasions; the image of a golden hand pulling him into the light all too familiar.

"Jinx, sit him upright and support his head. I'll finish the course and get one of the instructor's attention" offered Alcross, turning towards the balance beams and immediately jumping off the side rather then go through the obstacle itself. Armstrong did say they could skip it if they fell.

Baphomett broke the tension of his knuckles two at a time with fortitude and a strange grace. He was alone in the beginning, silent stride smoothly entering the building behind a lumbering juggernaut of metal. No shits carried about how off the two-legged tin can man felt. He just followed, simmering under the shade of the splattered mess that made up his peers. He didn't care, not anymore. Not right now.

A memory flashed by like a spotlight flickered amidst darkness - "Next time watch yourself you shit-haired prick!" Baphomett just kept walking, the chessboard hallways becoming muddy water to trudge on through.

Another one hit right after. "I-i am so sorry mister... P-please! Let me help with that - ahh!" Something swift and fierce followed by a meaty thud, her delicate well-manicured hand clapped away from the annoyed drink-covered male grimly frowning upon her. She backed up in those ungaudy stilettos, her red dress flowing as if to separate them. He wasn't going to hurt her - excuse the ever subtle quivering fist, but the face she made in such absolute fright made the beast sopping of deep-pocket wineglass contents question his current standing.

Baphomett's grip threatened to damage his god aunt's no-doubt hardwork, flinty fingertips strangling the showtime fabric. He strayed away from class after getting an idea of his schedule. No need to cater to the program so early. That is what semesters were for, and his choices there were abysmal enough. No he went straight to the wash-ups, hanging his shirt off a stall barricade and going to work on the sink.

A tired young man seconds away from outright mangling someone stared back at him, slate grey eyes laser focused on themselves as the events of this morning finally streaked out of sight. He wanted to close his eyes and disappear somewhere that wasn't here. A cruise-ship maybe, a day before this madness started? A stress-filled sigh left his lips, fogging the glass thus hindering his reflection. It took a lot more than the events prior to set him off, although he wasn't quite there yet if not mildly annoyed at it all. Temptation strolled into the bathroom like a shady salesman lathered in obscure clothing offering a deal; to skip today. Leave all this behind and just walk right back out.

"Hey you just about done there bud, I'd like to use the tap please."

Demonic gazes took turns on the nervous lad behind Baphomett, angular glowing eyes squinting expectantly in the dark illusion unintentionally crafted. "Sure go ahead," easing aside for the fellow student his hands bit into his waist. He watched the boy wash up, ball a dead tissue, and leave. Baphomett's mouth straightened noticing the speed of which that was done. Probably shouldn't have let it all out there he guessed. Turning his wrist he saw the time, a grateful nod to that particular force of nature.

White beams deflected off the steely grey armor quickly raiding his vision. Baphomett was outside albeit late, lost in the wonders of the school thanks to his last minute mission. The armored titan he trailed to get here seemed to be explaining himself to the other meaty titan standing among them. Decided he missed most of the rap session in their designated homeroom, explaining himself became less and less assuaging. He patted his opened dress-shirt at the sides, pulled beneath the collar of his darker inside shirt, and felted the arms and collars for any sign of dampness. The sweet fruity stench of alcoholic indulgence was long gone if that hour in dry cleaning meant shit, so gauging his efforts first impressions in-terms of appearance had to be damn good. They wanted the new-arrivals to participate in a setup similar to the E-sports section of the extreme games. The idea was attractive no doubt, perfect for energy exertion and... Dark grey pant bottoms bounced on black boots to reveal church socks on their grassy route, their wearer completely ignorant of the race going on only to take a comfortable seat on a free blanket near the start line. He sprawled comfortably as the elements took over, brightening his spot, and sending a forgiving breeze. It was sudden and almost completely random, but he'd found his temporary heaven.

Armstrong was pleased with the kids finally getting a move on. This is what he wanted to see! Hearing clattering armor, the large man turned his head and noticed someone in full armor walking toward them and soon spoke up. This was one of the students that had been running late, no doubt. "All you need to do is complete this course in 10 minutes." he points to the course and then looks at his watch "You're already down to 7 minutes. Get a move on." his tone was serious, stern "Come late to class again and I will personally be hanging you from one of the school's peaks." he threatened, he wouldnt actually do it...Or would he? "Now go!" he shouted, letting the student get on with his course. Taking a good look at the course again, he noticed Zee just walking it, instead of running like she was meant to "Move it, Zee!" he shouted with such thunder in his voice "A Kishin is about to kill you!" sure enough, that got her butt moving. But watching her flop over a hurdle, he knew she needed to strengthen her legs, allowing her to jump higher and avoid things such as that. More training had to be done for the young one. While everyone else was doing decently okay, he noticed flaws in many of the students that would need work. I will have to speak with every student and tell them what they need improvements on. he thought, only to notice another late student walking by him and his partner, only to go in the grass and lay on Alice's cloak.

The large man suddenly had shining red eyes while he slowly approached the male laying down on the ground. Towering over him with such anger as he looked down at him "Does this look like the beach to you?" he asked "You are also late to class. Hearing your excuse will not be accepted." he reached down and roughly picked up the smaller student and moved him off of the grass with a forced shove toward the course "Get your ass moving and do that course! Dont you ever use someone else's property without permission either!" his voice was loud enough for anyone to hear. No doubt others would want to look. On top of it all, he spotted Lew trying to help someone out instead of helping himself "Llewellyn! If I do not see you doing the course yourself, I will personally put you through hell!!!" Armstrong was annoyed to say the least, after all, one of his biggest pet-peeves were late students and he had two of them.

Elvena and Elias Stein

104446.gif

Elias never heard the words that left Alice’s mouth as he walked off, the many situations that had unfolded around him making his pace speed up as if to distance himself from it. Not about to get involved in any of that shit. He thought to himself, heading up the small set of stairs that were laid out before the giant doors to the DWMA. Elvy had flashed her brother a satisfied smile, white but almost gray colored strands of hair being blown by the wind to dance about. She seemed oddly content despite the fact that her hand was firmly gripping another’s, small physique somehow showing no strain as she dragged him throughout the courtyard to stop beside her brother at the entrance. Elvy's red eyes flickered over to the side to land on the boy wearing headphones, momentarily meeting his prolonged stare with an analytical one of her own before looking away. Elias's eyebrow twitched as he peered down at the sleeping dude, annoyance crossing his features once again. “ What’s with him? “ Elias asked rather blandly, not sure if he wanted an answer but he was curious. Curiosity killed the cat. “ Y’know, I wish I had a genuine answer for you. I’d chalk it up to a bit of pride on my part and mostly laziness on his. “ Elvy flashed him a grin that only grew as the giant man known as Armstrong began to speak up and introduce himself.

The twins stayed pretty near one another and they would’ve simply been a party of two if it wasn’t for Takeshi being pulled behind them through every corridor that Armstrong took them through. The only time the trio went idle was to stop when they were being shown a specific part of the DWMA. Whereas Elvy and Elias both knew the building like the back of their hands, she was almost certain Takeshi had never been there so she wanted to give him an opportunity to be a part of the tour. He was probably passed out for much of it, not even taking a lick of the layout to memory. At least she tried! The classroom became one of their more permanent stops for the time being and the Stein’s naturally slipped into the back row, wanting to distance themselves from a majority of the group. Elvy sat there with one hand cupping her cheek, elbow propped up so that she could keep herself attentive. Elias leaned back and crossed his arms, the words the teacher spoke being stuff they had learned at a very young age. He listened though, knowing better than to be a tyrant when in the presence of a teacher or in a place of learning. The living arrangements made him feel rather grim and a little panicked. What if Elvy gets a guy partner? What if I get a girl partner… that’s just. Would we be in the same bed? WOULD ELVY BE IN THE SAME BED AS SOME DUDE? Would they want to share my shower?! I don’t even want to think about that. This has to be a joke. We have other rooms... yeah, it could be fine. Fucking fantastic.
IMG_8953.JPG
Elvy on the other hand couldn’t help the weird sinister look that slowly took over her features. That’ll be fun. So many different scenarios to play out… A soft laugh that almost sounded villain-like escaped her lips, disrupting the class for a moment. She offered the class an apologetic look and waved the entire thing off, gaze falling to rest on the boy still on the floor but beside her in the classroom. I wonder if Armstrong even knows he’s down there. His sleeping face was quite tranquil and she found herself watching him for a bit instead of listening to Armstrong, his words now drowned out. Before she knew it, the class was over. Her head tilted as they began to file back out after the introduction of what they’d be focusing on that year. She hopped up and motioned towards Elias who seemed zoned out. “ C’mon! “ She sang the word out, fingers tightening their hold once again as she began to drag Takeshi back out. His head had slightly bonked against the end of the row and she blinked furiously. It didn’t seem to faze him so she sighed in relief, continuing on as they arrived at the field, a huge obstacle course having been laid out for them.

A new emotion seemed to show itself on Elias’s face as they listened to the test they were being given. “ Oh hell yes. “ He spat off to the side and began stretching, not even caring as the students started the course. Some at a brisk and incredibly fast pace, others seeming to struggle with it already. “ Shall we, Elvy? “ His confidence was now sky high, body bouncing around from the rising excitement. “ Yeah, I suppose we should. “ She drawled out, her own energy seeming lackluster compared to her energized brother. Elvy knelt down, strands of hair tickling Takeshi’s face as she got pretty close to it. A gloved finger reached down to poke his cheek, trying to get his attention. “ Hey, wake up. I’d drag you through this too but I’m not sure Armstrong would allow it. See you on the other side! Or probably not now that I think about it. “ Judging by his soul and persona she wasn't so sure the lazy guy would even attempt the obstacle course. And with that she hesitantly slid her hand free from Takeshi’s, nodding towards her brother. “ Like old times? “ She questioned playfully, eyes flashing with a newly found conviction. Elias smirked and started off, matching his sister’s speed as they zoomed past the 100 meter dash and cleared the hurdles with ease, a really impressive amount of space between their feet and the bars being noted.

Their stride didn’t waver as they neared the stairs, taking them a few at a time as they did with the stairs leading up to the DWMA. The pair were in perfect synchronization as they hopped down from the top and skipped the entire downwards part of the stair obstacle. Elias took a moment to release a small taunt at the black haired Rin girl as he sped past her. “ I hope you’re looking forward to that hug from Armstrong. “ He didn’t even look at her as he said it, he simply kept moving. Elvy’s hair flew behind her as if it had a mind of its own, her feet hitting the ground softly at the bottom. As soon as they touched down she jumped a little bit, being met with Elias’s hands beneath her shoes, the strength in his arms showing as he fully launched her into the air. Elvy’s body turned as she treated the rock wall like a high jump, back arching so she could clear it. A serene look rested on her face as she flipped her body once over it so that she could land on her feet once again. Elias got a running start before releasing his own power, an explosion being seen beneath his form that sent him airborne. His fingers touched the top of the wall momentarily as he grabbed it and used more strength to shoot himself past the balance beams and monkey bars, not wanting to deal with any of the hoity toity dance like crap. The older of the Stein’s smiled and hummed as she jumped up onto the balance bars, her body quite flexible as was seen when she performed an aerial cartwheel, landing at the edge of the beam.

The monkey bars came next for her and she blinked, not understanding why someone would do them the way they were intended when there were much more convenient and fun ways of using them. Her hands nimbly grabbed the first bar and she pulled herself up and between the first two, legs straight up in the air, body acrobatically trained to do such things. Her body curled around the bar and she found herself atop of the monkey bars seconds later. She ran across them as if it was a bridge missing planks, jumping down at the end to land beside her brother. “ You took your time. “ He simply said, pointing at the dark tent looming over them. “ Ready to break some shit? “ Elvy shook her head suddenly, throwing a hand out as if to stop her brother, knowing full well what he was about to do. “ There might be people in the-- “ She flinched suddenly as she heard the explosion, groaning outwardly and looking around wildly. “ You might want to wait before going in there… “ She said towards anyone approaching, standing at the entrance and waiting for the dust to clear that had started drifting out like clouds.

Elias had stormed forward, not about to play at the maze game. He simply didn’t have the patience for that, unlike his sister who probably would’ve loved to entertain the idea of a maze. Explosive blasts left his fists as he began to wildly juggernaut his way through the entire maze, taking brick by brick wall down. This stone was nothing to him, it would crumble beneath his hands as would his opponents. At one point he pictured Liam’s dumb winking face and the intensity of the explosion sent the bricks flying wildly around the entirety of the maze. His hands slid into his pockets casually as he finally saw the light for the exit falling like a hail mary on the rubble before him. He stepped over the pile of rocks and sauntered through it, sweat streaming down his face and arms but a grin on his face that screamed victory. Elvy had shot an arm out to clothesline one of their classmates who hadn’t heard her previous warning, stopping them in their tracks. “Let’s take a moment to smell the roses. “ When the explosive noises ceased she dropped her arm and calmly made her way towards the sun she could see peeking through the destruction. She skipped out of the exit and started climbing the ropes, shimmying up to the top. As she got to the top she winked at Elias, the two of them ringing the bells at the same time. Elias dropped to the ground without a second thought and Elvy wrapped her legs a bit loosely around the top as she mimicked the fireman style and descended. The material of her pants thankfully made it so she wouldn’t get any rope burns. She then looked around and rubbed her neck sheepishly, not wanting to look over at Armstrong whom she was 100% certain was going to have something to say about Elias’s actions. Elias made his way over to grab a water bottle, chugging it down as Elvy did the same except she took small sips. " You should go over there and start digging your grave, Elias. Just sayin'. " Elvy said between sips, reaching past him to grab a snack that she wanted ready for the scene that she knew would inevitably happen.

Alice didnt stop running and used this momentum to jump over hurdles. Though, with some, she had to time her jumps just right because they then consisted of dives and flips till she reached the end with a barrel roll. Landing on her feet in a crouched position, almost to the floor before she took off running up the stairs skipping them by sets of two before reaching the top and quickly looking ahead and then behind her. Rin was catching up, and so were the Stein siblings. Quickly, Alice backed up a little bit and ran, jumping from the top of the stairs right over to the rock wall where she slammed into it and grunted, grasping onto any pieces that had been out for her to grab and she quickly climbed to the top, pushing herself with every movement. This is nothing compared to how pops trained me...He trained me much worse than this just to get me stronger. I dont let it go down the drain and let him down. the blonde thought to herself as she reached the top, only glancing down to see a dark haired boy climbing up (Arthur Hubub101 Hubub101 ) and this made her quickly hop off the other side out of the other's sight and jump onto the balance beams where Alice used this to her advantage and jumped from beam to beam no problem before hopping onto the monkey bars and swinging herself across and skipping every few sets of bars.

It didnt take long for the Stein siblings to run past with their exceptional skills and end up at the tent before the blonde. It's fine. I'm in the middle of the race. I'm not in trouble of losing. if she had been closer to the end, then perhaps she would have panicked. Hopping off the end of the monkey bars, she noticed Elvena standing in front of the tent. The Blackout tent. This alone started to worry Alice some. Going into a pitch black tent? In a maze? It began to remind her of times she was locked away in a dark closet, where it was cold, dark, and scary. Was she ready for such a task? Maybe. But she wouldnt find out unless she actually had gone inside. Without thinking, she began to walk, only stopping as Elvena's arm stopped her. "Huh?" she asked before she began to hear explosions and sounds of cement being broken within the tent, her eyes widening. Hopefully no one was inside as the tent slowly collapsed to reveal nothing but a tarp over the debris now. So much for the dark maze... Elvy went ahead and and began to climb one of the four ropes with her brother. Alice followed suit, climbing up the rope with some struggle but climbing up to the top while they were already getting down.

She reached her hand out and rang the bell before jumping off the rope and landing on her feet, knees bending and her hand flat against the ground before rising up from the floor. Watching as the siblings went and got water already before looking at Shinobu ( GrieveWriter GrieveWriter ) with a small smile and looking back at the course, her breathing heavy, her heart racing, and her hair a little disheveled from the run. Alice then moved to the side, standing by Shinobu "Hey," she said to the taller female "Nice run over the course." her emerald green eyes looked at her "Names Alice Drake."

Kyuubey Kyuubey (mentioned the siblings)

Rin's speed had been exceptional, it was fast, quick, but the only downside to all of this speed was her weak skill in balance and the need to stop. She ran up the stairs, down the stairs, but couldnt bring herself to stop as she slammed right into the rock wall and fall right back on her behind. Now on the ground as she looked up at the rock wall Ow... That hurt...a lot... she thought, watching as a redhead began to climb the rock wall ( Japanime Japanime ) and noticed others were beginning to follow suit, rushing over the wall. Getting up from her current state, she was suddenly taunted by one of the steins and she gritted her teeth in annoyance I'm not going to lose to these guys! with that said, she got up and began to climb all the way to the top, climbing on over and noticing a male with blue hair on top with her, looking down before jumping and avoiding the man down on the side while currently being shaken by another man who was screaming at him and shaking him. He really shouldnt shake him like that. He's going to make his condition worse. ( Deary Deary Phayne Phayne Hubub101 Hubub101 ) she climbed down and was careful not to land on the poor guy before she turned and seen Balance beams before her.

Her heart was racing and her breath was rough. Looking at these beams alone had her on edge but knew she had to keep going if she didnt want to end up in last place. She didnt help the downed student and instead went on her pursuit on these beams. She got onto it and began to balance rather horribly, almost falling from one side or the other. There was no way she could be as fast as her fellow classmates across this. Come on. I got this. It's not that bad. as soon as she had thought that, her foot had slipped and she instantly went down onto the track underneath, scraping her hands and knees in the process, causing her to hiss in pain. Rin took in a deep breath and slowly began to re-compose herself before getting up from the ground and skipping the beams section and onto the monkey bars. Of course after just scraping her hands, she had to use them to go across some bars. This was a predicament that she wasnt sure how to get out of. Looking down at her hands, she seen how red they had been along with the track's dirt and a few scratches.

Her head had snapped up at the sounds of explosions and after looking at the tent on the other side of the bars, she was wondering what was going on. The blonde girl had made it over with one of the Stein siblings. Before Rin knew it, the tent collapsed and revealed nothing but dust and a covered up pile of...whatever was underneath the tent's skin. They're already destroying the course...Why? This is a test for simple physical traits! on the other side of the pile, she seen the ropes with the bells. Well... At least she only had bars and bells left. Lifting her crimson red eyes back to the bars above her, she jumped and grabbed onto them Hopefully my arms are more trustworthy than my balance...I do know how to use a knife after all... she began to move herself along the bars, very slowly at that. Finding it fairly difficult to get by as she forced herself to move along. Though she finally gave up and slipped off the last six bars and dropped to the ground, wincing a little at the pain in her knees. Looking down at them, she noticed her thigh highs were ripped and exposed reddened skin that was slowly oozing blood. I must have gotten these when I fell off that beam... it didnt bother her as much as she moved to the rope and looked up. Due to going through a bit of hell in this course, she reached her hand up and shifted it into a gun, shooting the bell and walking off the field.

She was done and now the others had to finish. Moving to the grass, she then plopped her butt down and looked at the cuts on her legs. Her thigh highs were already ruined so might as well make them useful. She took her hands and began to rip them into shreds, tying each piece around both her legs to stop her bleeding knees and had wrapped some pieces around her hands I can always buy new ones...

DWMA TRACK & FIELD-DEFEATING JINX IN A RACExkuyxcex6vy31.jpgStep after step, Marcus dug his feet into the ground as he ran clearing the 100 meter dash with ease. However along the way he did encounter the fool from before. The dude name was Jinx, and apparently after everything that happened he's still bold enough to flick Marcus' locs. Tagging along with him was also his weapon friend. They both seemed determine to beat one another in this race, but Marcus definitely wasn't going to lose being Jinx, or his friend. It was now time for him to push himself. He kicked it up a notch, catching back up with Jinx with ease. The dash was done and now came the hurdles. "Don't trip." He says to Jinx flicking the side of his head. One after another, he cleared em with ease. What Marcus lacked with bulky muscles and strength, he made up for it with his agility and speed. He was remarkably nimble.

Clearing the hurdles, Marcus quickly ran up the stairs, skipping as much, as possible, which was much easier than the ones from this morning. Once at the top he leaps over the rest clearing them perfectly, coming to a tuck and roll. He stands up, getting a running start before leaping onto the rock wall. Climbing as fast as he could, he pulls himself over the top and leaps down trying not to land on anyone. However Jinx had another idea. Marcus witnessed the fool, land on another student possible injuring them both. After not hearing any screams of pain or seeing any blood, Marcus figured for the most part they both were okay. "Great job Jinx." He says sarcastically. "If you can't finish this race, cause you got a lil boo boo, I understand. I'll tell Armstrong you gave up." He says with a grin. Moments before continuing the course, he noticed three other students clearing the rock wall and passing them. One was Ran, the other was a dude with blondish hair, and finally the white haired girl from before. As she passed Marcus it was as if time was slowed, and he caught a glimpse of her face. Beautiful. He thought to himself. he shook his head rather vigorously trying to regain his focus. He took off after the three leaving, Jinx and the others behind.

Running yet again, Marcus tried his best to keep his focus on the course, but his view was very tempting. Coming up on the balance beams, Marcus leaps on top of them running across it with ease. There was no need for him to spread his arms out or even slow down. Once at the end, he leaps off towards the monkey bars grabbing the first bar. It seems the white haired girl had the same idea as him. There was no point for him to swing through the bars if he could run across. Pulling himself up, Marcus run across the Marcus bars stepping from one bar to another. When he finally reaches the end he simples just falls to the ground, before running again. He come up towards the tint, but stopped as the two students from before stopped as well. He was curious on why and tried to examine what was going on before asking. It seems like the dude was about to make this part so much easier, and that he did. Marcus followed behind the two of them as explosions went off and the maze was destroyed. "This made my job so much easier." He said to himself as he cleared the exit. He jogged towards the rope climbing it with ease. He rung the bell watching as the two did it simultaneously. They must be siblings, twins perhaps. He thought before coming back down. He made his way off the track, and went straight for the rest of his stuff. He grabbed them, and just brought them towards the food and drinks. Dropping his gear on the ground near the twins, he goes for a bottle of water and chugs it before grabbing another. "That course was somewhat of a drag, easy, but still a drag. I say the highlight of it all was when you destroyed that maze." He says glancing over at Elias. "I'm sure Armstrong would throw a fit." He says with a chuckle. "And you." He says looking at Elvena. "I honestly didn't expect to see someone have the same thought as me. Running across the monkey bars is way better than swinging on em." He opens his second bottle, take a swig, before grabbing his headphones and placing them around his neck. "Oh I forgot, my is Marcus, Marcus Rung." He says before taking another swig of his water. However once he took noticed of his worst nightmare standing by Armstrong, he spat it all out in an instant. "Oh no...why is she back? Why now? Did she see me run? God I hope she didn't. I wont hear the end of it." He says ranting on and on.

1591051823516.pngAs the students were off on their little obstacle course, a new teacher enters the scene. She strolled down the path leading towards the track field, with a small grocery bag in hand. Inside that bag is something no one should touch upon without her permission unless they want to die. Ikora is fond of her sour candy, and Arizona drinks. As she entered the track, she stood off in the distance at first before making a full entrance. She was someone disturbed by some of the things she noticed, but for the most part excited that so far out of everyone that was running, the girls were in the lead. That was something that warmed her heart the most, however noticing Zee trailing far behind brought a bad taste in her mouth. "Pathetic." She says with a scoff. She noticed a kid landing on another by the rock wall, which brought a smile to her face. "hehe males are stupid." She says with laughing at herself. Though at of all the students the one that stood out the most was her little cousin, Marcus. He was doing well for him, by her standards, however wasn't good enough to bet any of the other females that completed the course before him. Proving her point yet again, women are superior. Losing interest in the course, she makes her way towards her colleagues, and companions on the field. "Well Armstrong, by the yelling I figure you're enjoying yourself out here." She says reaching into her bag, grabbing a bag of sour patch kids and starts snacking watching the rest of this course unfold. "Hey Juri guess who brought snacks. Just don't touch my sour candy." She'd done it.

Despite not having paid much attention to her fellow peers once she'd started save for that one pause on the rock wall, Shinobu found upon completing the course that she's surpassed her peers. Whether it was because she'd gotten an early start in comparison or that her elegant maneuvers really were that effective mattered little to her. The only ones it should truly matter to were her prospective partners, as they were the ones who were supposed to be trying to form a connection with their Meisters throughout this course. Shinobu's particular connection with the powers of soul may hold focus more on perception than anything else, but she knew enough about wavelengths to wonder just how her display would be perceived by the Demon Weapons.

But she was not the type to dwell on stuff like that, especially after something like the course. While she still had more than enough energy to spare, ignoring the offered bottles almost seemed like an insult. While still keeping track of her classmates and their progress, Shinobu took one of the bottles on offer and placed it against her head. It was only for a few seconds, as she was used to dressing formal outside there wasn't too much need for a cool down. But only after she felt the effects of the course fading did she open said bottle with a deft, single-handed manuever and proceed to drink its contents. It was as she was halfway done that the rest of her classmates began arriving.

From the looks of the course, plenty of them weren't exactly having an easy go of it. She was pretty sure that the Maze wasn't as destroyed before she had started that singular drink of water. But lo and behold it was barely even an obstacle now, though it seemed like that wouldn't make the course much easier for some of her peers. While a larger number had finished now, there were still some trailing. Shinobu wasn't the type to judge performances like this, but she reminded herself that her partner could be among them. As such, looked over the course with a tinge of curiosity in her gaze.

As she viewed, she occasionally slid open the jaw of her mask to drink more water. Not too much, she didn't want to over-hydrate herself. They were supposed to be eating after this, and she wouldn't want to stifle her appetite before getting a good look at what was being offered. She occasionally looked over the bouquet she had, considering how it should be offered to its intended recipient. It was during this time that she took note of one of her peers actively approaching her. Though Shinobu was willing to give her classmates space after they finished, she turned to the approaching girl as she introduced herself as Alice Drake.

Upon being complimented for her efforts on the Obstacle Course, Shinobu turned her attention to the course once more "I suppose it was... Thanks."

Shinobu looked down at the Bouquet in her grasp for a moment, "The name's Shinobu, and you should know that I'm sorry."

Looking back over to meet Alice's emerald gaze with her own crimson eyes, Shinobu held up the Bouquet and nodded towards them, "Usually I'd give you flowers just like these for maintaining your beauty throughout that entire ordeal. You did pretty good yourself, Alice."

Turning away, she looked back over the course and resumed watching the last of her peers finish up, "But the Bouquet I have here is for a certain someone, so I'll have to give you another one later.... Sorry."

Arthur and Jinx in: Full Speed Ahead!

As it would seem, the universe would not allow Arthur to have a breakdown this time, as a boot backed with the weight of a person collided with his face. The next few instants were a blur of noise and moving shapes, as he had yet to make an effort to snap back to attention. His mind was still trying to grapple with his horrifying conclusion, but it seemed to have a harder job at it. With each thought laced with doubt or fear, the next became more distant. The idea that he couldn't become a meister started to make less and less sense. Then, everything started to shake.

Jinx struggles to get a response from the unconscious body. The last thing he wanted to be known as a murderer on his first day of school. As if matters weren't worse, Alcross arrived seconds later, teasing the fellow for "killing" the brunette. Irked, the raven-haired snaps his head over to his cousin. "I DIDN'T KILL HIM!" He barked. "At least I'm sure of it. He was already on the floor when I found him. I didn't even see him till now." Again Jinx shakes the body gently only for his attempts to be halted by Alcross, warning him of the dangerous effects of simply trying to shake the guy. "Yeah, alright." He mumbled, sitting the boy up to get the blood flowing only to drop him as he heard the clever tricks Alcross was about to pull. "What? No way you're leaving me behind! You're gonna automatically win because I sat by and let it happen!" He growled before turning his attention to Marcus, who had also dropped by after flicking Jinx's forehead on the hurdles. He too began to nag him about falling on his face. Jinx growled, but returned to assist the unconscious boy. His head held up awaiting for any movements. "Ignorant ass." He mumbled. Sitting here with the kid wasn't helping the guy's health so it was best to stick to the original plan and drag him out of the way. Jinx also wanted to try something as the limp arm is draped over his own shoulder while Jinx's hand held the teen's side. "Here we go." Closing his eyes, embarking on a journey to resurrect the brunette using his healing-wavelength. He takes a deep breath and exhales with his eyes closed. He repeated the motion until his own erratic soul flowed gently into Arthur's.

What am I doing? I’ll be late for obstacle training! Dad hates it when I’m late. Better grab something from the armory...

Within mere seconds, Jinx was socked in the gut and gripped by the hand. For some weird reason, he had transformed into a scythe as if mentally instructed. A violet glow envelops his form, shaping into his weapon form.

There… Go time!

Scythe-guitar-thing in hand, Arthur bolted down the course full sprint. The balance beams were coming up next, though he had no intention of treating them as such. Without so much as hesitating, Arthur leapt, seemingly into the pit below the beam. The pit would not be his destination however, as in a fluid motion he hooked the scythe onto the beam and swung under it while another student traversed it. He passed the other on the ascending swing, and tumbled onto the opposing ground, quickly rolling back to a standing position and resuming his mad dash. The monkey bars would be approached with a similar mindset. Adjusting his grip to get maximum reach out of the scythe, Arthur leapt forward and hooked onto the bars at the last possible moment, swinging himself further forward across the obstacle and under an albino female. It was just enough to clear the segment, as he rolled past a blonde who seemed to be waiting for someone. Anyone else he had passed along the way didn’t seem worth noting, or at least slipped under his radar. Despite this, some part of him wished he saw the look on a specific person’s face, though who that was eluded him.

'What the hell is happening?' Is Jinx's first thought. One second he was helping some kid, the next he was jabbed in his stomach and now in weapon form and in the hands of a stranger! To be held is an odd sensation. He can't even remember the last time someone has wielded him since, well never. There was a second sensation as if someone else's wavelength is invading his space. There was a synchronizing rhythm Jinx understood as if the beat of a note. At the same time, there was something odd into the mixture. Fear? Anxiety? It was a whirlwind of a mess like a tornado at full force, carrying whatever clutter lies in it's path.'Geez this guy feels like a wreck.' Currently, Arthur's soul and wavelength displays focus. This was his true self or at least part of him.

From within the scythe-guitar, the black-haired teen's eyes sparkle with interest, impressed that this person is swiftly passing by like nobody's business. A big, goofy grin, stretches across his face. To think, he is the first to be held, from what he can remember, and found his legitimate meister. There was no possible explanation than this and to make things sweeter, he found his partner way before Alcross. Not to mention he was going to win for the first time. 'Hell yes! This is friggin awesome!' He mentally cheered without realizing telepathy was passed onto his unofficial meister.

The blackout tent was next, and for this Arthur did slow down to a jog. He didn’t realize the absurd grin on his face as he entered the dark enclosure. Once inside, he recalled the walls of the maze were stone, but assumed they were not fitted to match the tent’s height. Thus, he hooked onto and climbed atop one such wall, crouching to avoid the top of the tent. Switching then to a reverse grip on the mighty weapon, he used it in a manner not unlike a blind person’s walking stick, waving it before him to find the potential footholds atop the walls and traverse the tent without traversing the maze.

Dropping down and exiting the tent, he heard explosions behind him within the tent. Such sounds didn’t matter, as only one obstacle remained: the beam bell. Climbing a rope would take too long. Not even wasting a second on contemplation, Arthur dashed to the pole, grabbed a rope but kept running until he swung as far as it would take him with his sprinting momentum. At the apex of the upward swing, he arced the scythe at its greatest range around to hook onto the pole. He would release the rope, yank himself toward the pole, pass it and grab a new rope, starting a new swing at a higher position on both rope and pole. He would repeat this process as many times as it took to get close to the top. Once in polearm’s reach, he yanked himself as close as he could get and swung the weapon at the bell. The ringing that sounded then was loud, and gave the impression he dented the bell, but that hardly mattered. Landing from this height was challenging, but he managed it better than he did the wall. They had done it. They had taken their first step toward the creation of a Death Scythe, toward graduation, toward the future of they’re dreams. At this moment, they felt invincible.

Wait a moment… they?

Jinx cheered at the top of his lungs before smirking at his unofficial miester Within his space. "Dude...you fucking rock!"

And just like that Arthur, who now had nothing to distract him that this scythe-guitar was a person, promptly panicked.

After he got the late ones to go on ahead to the course, he noticed someone flinging themselves around with what looks like a scythe. His blue eyes widen with surprise and was immediately impressed. A kid already found his respective partner. Once again, he looked down at the clipboard Juri had and flipped a page or two and saw that the kid's name was Arthur. ( Hubub101 Hubub101 Deary Deary ) He then looked for weapons and he seen it had been Jinx. An interesting pair indeed "Juri, we already have our first set of partners up and ready to-" suddenly he began to hear explosions which instantly made him whip his head toward that direction, only to watch as the blackout tent was falling over and out came out Elias on the other end before he and his sister had rang the bells and got some water. Staring at the scene before him, he began to feel the anger welling up inside him as his eyes suddenly turned a shiny red once again. Finding their way into Elias' skull as he slowly began to walk over, an aura surrounding him as he got bigger and bigger the closer he had gotten "Eeeeliiiiaaaas..." his voice began to grow in tone "STEEEIIINNN!!" his roaring voice shook the the playing field, causing students to look toward his general direction. To know that it was him who ruined the course didnt surprise the large tank, but it still made him angry because this was just to test 3 simple physical things. Instead, Elias made it his playground to remove one of the most important things.

As he walked by some of the other students, he towered over the Stein Siblings and glared down at Elias in particular "So you think you can waltz up... and destroy my course... like it's some kind of game, EH!?" he shouted before he slammed his fists together and suddenly his shirt exploded off of his large muscular body and revealed every dip and line of his muscles "If you wanted to play a game, then you should have come to me!!!" he was challenging the kid, knowing very well that this Stein Sibling wouldnt dare try to go against a 7ft tank. He also knew that Elias needed to be put in his place and should know better than to destroy school property this way. This was just a small test he needed to complete without destroying anything...What did he do? Destroy the course and thus now no other kids can participate in that run.

Juri Shinodo

Juri had happily hummed along during the entire orientation, nodding like an overly excited child with her hair bobbing about as Armstrong took the lead and explained everything to them. During the classroom portion she had found a spinny chair, her tiny body quick to settle into it as she spun around in constant circles for the entire lecture. The entire thing. One would imagine that it would make her insanely dizzy or sick but she continued without any sign of slowing down. “ Ahuh ahuh, kishin, fight the bad guys. Slay a witch and you’ll be strong like meeeee! “ She sang out, still spinning around with a gleeful look plastered on her face. The moment it was time to move the tour along she slid out of her chair, feet taking a moment to hit the floor as she darted off after Armstrong. His height made it harder for her to keep up and she puffed her cheeks out in annoyance, face hidden by the clipboard she was snugly holding onto. Her tiny stature beside his giant body seemed rather silly and she caught a couple glances of people clearly thinking the same thing she was. Instead of getting mad though she waved happily and flashed them a cute smile, face lit up during Armstrong’s entire description of the course.

The kids were given the go ahead and she stood up on her tippy toes, trying to get a better view of what everyone was doing and how they were performing. Occasionally she’d tick a box or write a few things but the clipboard mostly consisted of adorable doodles of hearts next to different names or smiley faces. She even drew a grumpy face next to Elias’s picture, a series of giggles escaping her lips as she peered at her handiwork proudly. The big burly man had left her side to go approach the Stein’s and she quickly intensified the angry look on the drawing next to Elias, big sparkling eyes only flickering up once Ikora came to occupy the space Armstrong had. She had said the magic words. Her eyes widened and slowly trailed down to the bag of goodies, the real shabang, the essence of life. Candy. A sound of pure unfiltered joy burst from her mouth as she threw her arms around Ikora and began nuzzling her face into the woman’s chest, squeezing her tighter than one would think possible of such a little being. “ IKORA, I LOVE YOU! “ She unwrapped herself from the other weapon and began to sift through the bag, a bit of drool starting to pool from her mouth. “ Ooooooooh you got the good stuff too! “ Armstrong’s voice booming wasn’t even enough to pry her attention off this treasure trove of amazeballs. Oh no, this was the messiah of candy bags.

Oh look Armstrong clearly needs backup and it is my sworn duty as his partner to go help! “ She suddenly piped up, hand snatching the entire bag in one fell swoop that couldn’t be caught by the human eye, her feet now taking her as fast as they possibly could go so she could create distance between her and the soon to be pissed off Ikora. Without a second thought she began to climb Armstrong’s back like he was Mt. Everest itself. But this mountain would be conquered, oh yes, for up here she was safe and sound from Ikora. She slid her legs around Armstrong’s neck, sitting on his shoulders with a look that one couldn’t possibly be angry with, completely unfazed by the fact that he was shirtless. Her greedy hands slid into the bag full of candy, handfuls being shoved into her mouth with noises of contentment and satisfaction filling the air. “ Armstrongggg, don’t be so hard on him, it’s his first day. I’m sure he was just excited. “ She said matter of factly, fist full of candy but a finger still extending and wagging about. " You all did soooo great, Juri Senpai is immeasurably proud of each and every one of you. Armstrong might be giving out only one hug but everyone is getting one from me when I get down from here! " It was easy for her voice to carry around the courtyard atop her throne but being a singer made this even more possible as she addressed those whom had already finished the course. Her eyes began to sparkle once again like fireworks going off, the love she had for all of her students so intense that she felt like she wouldn't be able to contain it. She began to quickly scarf down the rest of the candy, disappointment clear as day on her face when she reached in to be met with emptiness.

[Location: Obstacle Course / Mentions: Phayne Phayne Huntertabbysandshark3 Huntertabbysandshark3 Kyuubey Kyuubey /Interactions: RageFactorXIII RageFactorXIII ]

This was humiliating and without a doubt the worst way possible to start her school year. She has to get up and push herself. This was nothing compared to the ache of being alone with no one to rely on and being told she was worthless over her size. She's felt so much worse and lasted this long. The pout did not cease to show on her face as she wipes away any dirt. A voice speaks to her as they kneel in front of her view. Concern evident in their tone. She looks up to find a young man with blonde locks looking down on her. It was as if staring at the face of a gender bent Rapunzel. He offered a hand to which she found it to be suspicious. The only hand she had taken belonged to Alcross and Jinx, to take another's is unusual. As Zee is hoisted to her feet, she sends a half smile. This was a prime example of her fear. Someone saw her fall on her face and took pity enough to help. This isn't what she wanted. Her face now flustered and covered in frustrated tears. She tries to stop sulking, but Zee was an empathetic child with a heart of gold. That heart seemed to be her downfall when pretending to be tough. It seems the blonde has taken notice of her vulnerability as he soothes her with reassuring words that he will assist her during her course. Again, the offer was rather sudden as she was not accustomed to other people's generosity, yet turning him down was not in her nature. Skeptically, she agrees to assistance. The blonde demonstrates a safe path for Zee to take. Shifting her gaze between the hurdles and the blonde had Zee assumed if she is going to be last, why not take her time and push through? She follows his example taking one hurdle at a time. If she was being honest, the hurdles are by far the worst. They are the most unnecessary tool to have. When would she ever be encountering obstacles such as this when she can just smash her way through? one hurdle at a time. That is how she took it. Every three pounce, pause and huffs before starting on the next course. There were indeed times where she would stumble and mentally curse herself, but the young man had always caught her like the safety net he promised to be.

Back to running, a pattern that will be seen throughout the damn thing. It wasn't a problem, but going through small courses like hurdles might burn her out of stamina quickly. The blonde at her side offered some useful advice to breathing. She inhaled from her nose and exhaled through her mouth. The short breaths were doing wonders, but for how long? The next obstacle the stares. Looking up at the climb, she knew without a doubt it was no trouble. She had made it through academy's stairs. This was like training her for every time she would walk up and down in the near future. Advice once again offered to which Zee smiled softly.
"Right, ok. This is no problem." Two, three maybe four if possible steps are the route most of the students took as they passed her by. It frustrated yet motivated the girl to push through regardless of falling behind. There were still a decent few that had fallen behind and maybe she could catch up. As she contemplated, she had easily made it through the stairs now returning to plain jogging.

The rocky wall was next. To Zee's surprise, this course was no trouble. She had climbed through windows and vents just for a chance to peep at her darling. The look on her face showed determination. All she had to do is think of climbing through Alcross's window or a balcony she could woo her beloved. The passion to reach her goal pushed her to an all time high and thus, arrived at the top shortly during the blonde's climb. He sat on the top for a rest, but she did not pause as the adrenaline was kicking in, urging to push forward. As if having rotten luck, the moment was gone as her fear of heights emerged. How did she even survive climbing, then manage to get down? She took the easy route by exiting through the front door after the parents found her sneaking around. Her fondness was adorable enough to give her a pass to come and go as she pleases. To this day, Alcross does not know his parents gave Zee the ok. Her train of thought interrupted by her companion as if noticing the change in mood. Like a video game tutorial, he offered so more advice on how to descend from such a height. The sound of his landing wasn't assuring even though he seemed fine. That didn't keep the thoughts of pain away. Her hands shake with sweat emerging from her palms, she steps back after a longer period of not finding the strength to drop. She covers her eyes.
"I can't, I can't. It's too high. I'll break my legs." She whined to herself. She was close. There were a few obstacles left and the one thing that is keeping her is this height. "I wish you were here Puppy. I wish you-" Her words halt as she ponders about what soothing words he would say to her. Usually they were exaggerated, but not this time. Not under this stress. What Alcross would say would be the same as when he comforted her many times. A pat to her head, offering sweets, with subtle hints of how protective he was of her. Something among the lines of,

'Just breath and take it one step at a time, it's just you and the wall. Everything else is just noise. Ignore it and just focus on what it is that you want'
The imagery fades into nothing as if gaining a response. "Okay." She whispered to herself. "I know what I want and that's always going to be number one in my heart." She stands tall gripping her right hand tightly as if holding her resolve. "I will marry that boy and make him the happiest man ever." There was no looking back now as she leans towards the ledge, she drops safely in a crouch position then to her knees. The blonde had asked for her well-being as her body shivered over the pain, she raises her her head to unveil a comical face of tears pricked on the edges of her eyes while forcing a smile as she gives a thumbs up. "Just dandy, thanks." Zee stumbles to her feet still aching from the pain. Once she jogged her way to the beams, however, they stopped.

The beams were a simple obstacle as well. She sighed in relief, but decided for this trial, to remove her boots and take the safe route. Determination to finish the course, instead of just proving it to herself, she made an imaginary goal that at the end of the line, awaits Alcross ready to reveal his feelings for her and maybe propose whether it's meister or just for the sake of being together. Zee passed the beams with flying colors and the blonde was there to praise her She had to make a pause and catch her breath while putting back her boots.

The second to last part of the obstacle course before reaching the end. She was surprised she was not the last. The fellow in armor seems as if they will have the most trouble with such metal dragging their full potential. The monkey bars were easy peasy thanks to her outstanding ability to stalk Alcross. Below was her companion who had been so consistent throughout her journey. She was grateful regardless of his weird form of talking. He sounded like a butler. Perhaps he lived in a mansion with his mother's bosses thus making sense to his mannerisms. She made a mental note to thank him soon and catch his name. It was awfully rude to keep introductions for so long. Regardless, the bars were finished as they finally reach near the end mark. The brunette turns to the blonde as they jog their way over to the tent.
"Thank you for sticking with me and helping me out. It's the nicest thing anyone else has done for me except for two of my good friends. Nobody would go out of their way to help, so I sincerely am thankful. My name is Zee. What is your name?" She panted, awaiting a response as they make their way towards the tent just a few feet away where a white haired girl stood as if warning the upcoming people. Before Zee could ask, there was an explosion within the tent. Her face shocked as the tent collapses taking the people within, down. Why in the world will this happen? Who or what? Exiting on the other side is a grinning, spiky haired teen. At the same time the white haired girl had vanished. What was she to do now? Head straight for the finish line? Yes, precisely!

Zee shook her head. She's gotten this far and had trouble, but not this time. She was close and she shouldn't let anything stop her. Her ambition returns as she pushes forward, stepping over the tent possibly stepping on bricks or people with the heels of her boots. Flat surface yet possible to damage someone even a little.
"Come on!" Zee called the blonde as she held onto the rope and started climbing. Her worst nightmare. The rope was difficult aside from the bars and rocky wall. The rope held strain to her hands as she held on tightly, flustered and tired. She had to make it. She has to. At the end of the line, is relief. The brunette struggled for the longest wondering if she had the strength to even make it or drop. Unbeknownst, she had already reached the top. The only thing left to do was ring the bell. Zee hunches to catch her breath before ringing the bell and hopping off the platform to drop onto the grass on her face out of exhaustion. "I never want to do that again."

Arriving at the monkey bars, Alcross did exactly as he had done with the balancing beams and 'skipped' the obstacle itself, though not without appearing to make an attempt. As long as it looked like he had tried to complete the obstacle the correct way, then surely he could not be punished for what he intended to do next, especially not after they were explicitly told that they were allowed to skip the obstacle if they fell. It would be hypocritical for them to punish him for playing within the rules given to them. A faint smile on his face. Placing two hands on the first bar, Alcross hung there for a few seconds; his frame swinging ever so slightly as he held onto the bar, casting a quick glance to the instructors as he continued to sway before finally releasing his grip intentionally and landing on both feet. It was simply faster and less strenuous this way, skipping the obstacle all together whilst still being within the rules.

In no rush whatsoever, Alcross finally found himself at the final obstacle; the pitch black tent. It was the final thing standing between himself and victory over Jinx, a mere maze that he'd have to feel his way through in order to reach the other side. With Jinx incapacitated with Arthur, he had all the time in the world to waltz through the dark labyrinth, after all he didn't need to finish first. He just needed to finish ahead of his cousin. Though of course it just couldn't be that easy for him, a wrench had to be thrown into the spanner as a loud commotion could be heard from behind him; Alcross turning as his deadpanned expression quickly changed to one of shock. Approaching at increasing speed, the boy that had earlier been 'out for the count' was now holding onto the dark obsidian form of his cousin Jinx, the obvious meister utilising Jinx's weapon form to his advantage in order to finish the course. "Cheating bastard" mumbled Alcross, showing a rare expression of annoyance as he turned and quickly entered the pitch black tent before Jinx and Arthur could catch up.

Swallowed whole by the all encompassing darkness of the tent, Alcross soon found himself placing both hands against the cold smooth wall of the interior structure; a labyrinth like that of ancient mythology. Alcross could only ease his way through the maze as he had both hands placed against the stone walls, slowly feeling his way through as he memorised certain openings and dead ends, though the sound of metal tapping away was discomforting and added pressure. No doubt that was Arthur and Jinx, it had to be since Arthur was the only one with a weapon in hand at this point and all things considering, Arthur didn't look like the type to shy away from using Jinx to complete another obstacle again.

Alcross feeling a gust of wind from above could only sigh; he hadn't expected Jinx to stoop this low in their rivalry, to resort to underhanded tricks in order to win. No. This was not victory, Alcross would not uphold the silly stipulation that Jinx had wagered near the start of the course, after all this was meant to be done as individuals. Once he broke that, all bets were off. Another sigh escaped his mouth as the tapping of metal ceased, probably signalling that Arthur and Jinx had finished the course ahead of Alcross who was presently still in the middle of tent; hands pressed against walls on either side of him; a place he would soon regret finding himself in.

Without much warning the sounds of explosions began to resonate all around Alcross; the noise echoing off the various walls hidden in this shroud of darkness; a chaotic orchestra of destruction reverberating all around him. Like a concerto gone wrong; this flood of sound that threatened to deafen him was nothing more then a chaotic mess of explosions, like a novice smashing away at the drums with zero intention of actually producing anything of worth. Hands now finding themselves clenched and teeth gritted, Alcross could only listen in frustration as the dark world around him began to crumble; walls shattering amidst the various explosions including the one that Alcross had been right next to; its once large and sturdy wall now threatening to crush him flat. "Fucking idiot!" cursed Alcross, his voice unusually loud despite not using his megaphone. It was obvious that this had been due to one of the other students, someone lacking in intelligence considering he just blew up a tent without considering whether or not people were inside.

With no way to distinguish which way to go in order to escape, Alcross could do only one thing to protect himself as he quickly transitioned into one of his weapon forms; the increased durability that demon weapons had in their altered state hopefully being enough for Alcross to withstand being buried under the rubble, though it wasn't so much the durability but rather then slender shape of his weapon form that had saved him from being completely flattened and possibly killed.

Several minutes went by as the world around him began to quieten down; the faint sound of others moving across the now wasted area could just about be heard as their footsteps shifted the rubble beneath them, one of which was precariously close to where Alcross had been buried. The only reason why he wasn't under a large slab was due to his weapon blade being sharp enough that he had sliced through the stone, leaving a small gap in the wall that had basically fallen on top of him. It was only when he was sure that it was safe that he begun to stir, a large shape appearing to take form as the tent that covered him began to rise; taking the shape of the human body beginning to stand beneath it.

Actually enraged, Alcross begun to rise; the rest of his body taking back the form of his usual self whilst his right hand remained completely bladed, a necessity if he was going to break free from this tent that presently still kept him in darkness. To those still close to the tent, an increasing sound could be heard emanating from within the shape that was taking form, a dark and ominous sonata increasing in volume as the chaotic energy began to increase in uncontrolled tempo. This was Alcross angry, this was when his emotions overtook his actual talents. While he was leaned towards the more quiet side of the spectrum, this dark and foreboding sound was anything but silent and hinted towards an entity far from its own sanity.

A quick slash and the tent was ripped asunder; the shambolic piano sonata now bursting in full glory as its sound overtook the surrounding area; the birds and other animals in the nearby tree's fleeing in the opposite direction as if the fear of god had been struck into them. The sound was anger personified, as if someone was more intent on bashing their hands and face into the piano keys rather then trying to create something beautiful. It was rage, anger and frustration all mixed into one; the near death experience at the hands of some baboon brained moron more than enough to push him past his normally placid self.
tenor.gif
Standing on top of the rubble with a ripped tent around him, Alcross stood; his face cast in shadow as a bit of blood trickled down the side of his face. To his right, the bladed arm of his was slowly lowered to one side, its sharp edge gleaming as the sun above welcomed the boy back from darkness. To those observant, the keys on his piano were dancing to the chaotic sound it produced, as if spectral hands were at the helm of the piano and playing away frantically to the beat of Alcross's enraged heart.

Glancing up slightly, Alcross studied each and everyone at the finish line; noting the twins whom had been behind him when he had entered; the male looking like the most likely culprit. They had been the closest to the tent, excluding Arthur and Elias and considering the timing, it seemed more than plausible that it had to be one of the two whom had caused it.

Silently stepping forward, Alcross kept his hand transformed; making his way towards the boy whom had almost killed him, uncaring of the blood on his face. Uncaring of what the others may say and uncaring of any intention that his cousin or Zee may have had to stop him. Alcross was uncharacteristically pissed off and he had every right to be.

Rin felt the presence in the air change dramatically as she heard the sound of Armstrong yelling for an Elias ( Kyuubey Kyuubey ) Stein. His angry arua and his large frame coming closer to the finished group, but more toward the kid in question. Sir Armstrong gave fear inside her soul, no way would she want to be the one to piss him off. Especially in the way that Elias had. Even over his yelling and watching his shirt shred to pieces before her eyes, she heard the sound of a piano playing. Where was that coming from? Looking around from where she sat, she saw the blue-hooded figure emerge from the rubble which was the blackout tent. Crimson eyes widening, she slowly got back up to her feet. He was in there when Elias destroyed the tent?! W-Wait, Is that blood!? because of Elias's carelessness, he could have killed this guy. Blood had been going down the side of his face while his one arm had partially shifted into a keyboard-blade, the source of the music she had been listening to. It sounded sinister, angry even. It matched his expression, which held pure anger. Where was his destination? Rin had no idea, but she ran over to him in attempt to ask if he was okay "Hey, are you alright? You're Wo-" he kept walking when she had stopped, giving her the clearest idea on where his target was. He wanted to go after Elias. Kill him probably. This wasnt good. Armstrong was already furious and was causing a scene. If this guy pitched in...It was going to get a hell of a lot worse.

Rin ran to catch up to Alcross, running in front of him as she positioned her feet and held her hands out, pressing on his chest as he walked into her hands. This will stop him... I hope... he didnt stop moving, in fact, his strength was superior to her own and was actually starting to push Rin backward, her feet sliding on the grass with every step Alcross took "H-Hey!" she shouted "If you keep walking you're gonna push us right into-" looking over her shoulder, she noticed Armstrong getting larger and her eyes widen with panic before she tried pushing Alcross back, comically failing "If you keep pushing us, we're going to go right into Sir Armstrong!" she shouted. Rin didnt wanna be stuck in the crossfire between Elias and Armstrong. No way. No how. "Y-You're bleeding and I also dont want to die!" she looked up at him, trying to give him some common sense "We're both going to die if you keep walking!" sure she was being a bit over dramatic, but who wouldnt be? Armstrong was intimidating and could scare anyone... This guy is gonna get us both in trouble. He's injured and he's currently partially transformed! If the teachers see this, I dont know what they might think. Thinking that this day was gonna get better...was a bad idea. It's only getting worse and worse. Maybe her class was just so rowdy that they needed something else to do other than just run a course...

Was everyone else not even bothered by this? No one even had their partners yet! Except one pair. ONE PAIR! No one else had chosen yet and there was already conflict going on! It would be a little bit better if everyone at least had their weapons. Rin was already going into one of her episodes on top of the panic that she had growing within her "If you do not stop walking right now, I will shoot you!" she threatened, hopefully to get him to stop. Threats add more to a fire but...maybe it had the opposite effect in this setting? The dark-haired girl was so screwed if this didnt work how she thinks it might.

Alice raised her eyebrow, curious as to why Shinobu apologized before she gestured to the Bouquet by lifting it up. Blinking a few times, she suddenly shook her head "Oh it's no big deal!" she said with a small giggle "I dont mind the flowers not being for me. I appreciate the offer though. The compliment is more than enough." she then looked back at the course and watched as everyone else flew through it, seemingly having a great time before she heard Sir Armstrong. He wasnt happy... No one had to look to figure that one out. He was angry at none other than Elias. The brother of Elvena. He caught him. she thought as she turned to watch the scene unfold "I dont think Armstrong is going to go easy on any of us, Shinobu." she spoke to the fellow Meister. Watching as their teacher slammed his fists together and suddenly tear his shirt up in one flex. Emerald eyes wide, she watched the pieces sprawl out everywhere. He was going to fight Elias, wasnt he...? No, he couldnt. He was a teacher. Intimidation is probably what he was trying to do. Scare Elias back into his shoes. Suddenly she had a flashback to this morning, taking note of how Elias looked at Armstrong when they had been talking. If he had that expression then, without Armstrong being close and angry...She could only Imagine now.

Her eyes shifted to their Pink-headed teacher, who climbed Armstrong like a mountain and sit upon his shoulders as if this was no surprise to her with a bag of...Snacks? No...Sweets it looked like. She tried to defuse the situation, but Alice wasnt sure if it would calm down in a mere seconds. Then, she heard it...The sounds of menacing music which made her furrow her eyebrows and spot someone coming out from the rubble of the blackout tent. He was angry, he was bleeding, and he was partially transformed. Rin went on ahead and tried to stop him, yelling and everything to get him to stop. A sigh escaped her lips as she glanced at Shinobu "The first day and we're already getting along, huh?" she said, lifting her hand to her head with a nervous laugh and a sweatdrop. All before she leaned over and groaned "Oh who am I kidding, Everyone is already losing their minds. We've only done one thing and people are wanting to kill one another and there's yelling going on." the blonde wasnt wrong, but in a way, she did kind of enjoy the chaos. No doubt she'd enjoy it more in a week or so and be used to it.

First impressions were thrown out the window at this point. Standing upright once again, she put her arms on her hips and just...watched everythign unfold.

Liam flew through the air before landing on the balance beam and running on it towards the monkey bars. Back when he was on the rock wall, a few people passed him but he knew for sure he wasn't in last place. As he ran, he could hear explosions up ahead that sounded like it was coming from the maze.

Taking a leap off the beam, the red-haired boy landed swiftly on one of the monkey bars and stepped on each bar until he came across the tent. He entered only to see light which one would assume was the end. "Someone must've destroyed the maze instead of actually doing it." Liam chuckled at the thought and simply ran through. "Easier for me."

The rope that lead to the bell was only a few feet in front of him. He jumped as high as he could and climbed up the rope to ring the bell. "That was easy." It took a second for the boy to get his breath under control but he met with the others and began stuffing his belly with snacks.

The young man placed a tired smile upon his face when Zee had offered her thanks and her name while asking for his own. "It was a pleasure to be of service Lady Zee. I am Llewellyn Artain-Galant." Llewellyn was not able to make a complete bow while the two made their way over to the tent that housed the dark maze, still he made do by simply allowing his head to dip downwards slightly to form a partial bow. He truly did not mind assisting Lady Zee though Llewellyn hoped that he had not overstepped his bounds by doing so. The young man knew that he was fine for the moment but he had to remember in the future to not be so hasty to approach one of his betters if they did not specifically call on him to help. Lady Helena had done her best to try to ingrain that lesson into Llewellyn's head and while the words stuck, Llewellyn simply could not break the habit it seemed. He was meant to help his betters so why not seek to do so actively? Besides, this one instance had helped Llewellyn as well for it had provided him with a good distraction from his inner turmoil he had been experiencing earlier.

Llewellyn extracted himself from his musings when Lady Zee and he approached the tent that was to hold the dark maze portion of the obstacle course. Upon nearing the structure, Llewellyn found that he recognized the white haired girl standing before its entrance as Lady Elvena, one of the Meisters he had the pleasure to meet earlier that morning. Lady Elvena seemed to be barring entry into the tent for no immediately apparent reason yet Llewellyn decided to not pry. The young man was rewarded a moment later the sound of explosions and crumbling stone as the tent before him collapsed. It had appeared as though one of the other students had taken the liberty of demolishing this particular part of the obstacle course for a reason that was unknown to Llewellyn. Though, when a familiar spiky haired blonde male stepped out from amidst the rubble, Llewellyn believed he understood what had occurred. Lord Elias, the spiky haired male, decided that rather than deal with finding his way through the maze, he would instead destroy it. The decision was one that Llewellyn disagreed with yet he was wise enough to not make his disagreement visible. Lord Elias could do as he pleased, so long as no one else was trapped within the rubble that had once been the dark maze.

With that thought in mind Llewellyn cautiously approached the rubble while Lady Elvena and Lady Zee made their way forward to complete the obstacle course. The young man did not mind failing the obstacle course because the only consequence of such a failure would be his social standing, which was not important. What was important was sifting through the rubble to be absolutely certain that no other student had been trapped inside the tiny tomb that Lord Elias had created. This is why Llewellyn set to work clearing the bigger portions of the rubble to see if a student was crushed underneath the shattered stone. Normally, such a task would be tiring and it would leave the muscles in Llewellyn's arms quite sore, but now that he was already sore the task caused his arms to acquire a sensation that would only be accurately described as 'burning'. The sensation was unwelcome yet Llewellyn pushed through, even if his pace was far slower than he would have wished it to be.

Llewellyn had not made much progress into his self imposed task when a boy in a light blue hoody, covered in powdery dust, pulled himself out of the rubble. The young man was personally relieved to find that the student was well enough to dig himself out from under the rubble because that meant that he had not been injured too badly. Still, the blood that trickled down the hoody wearing male's face was concerning and Llewellyn made a mental note to offer his services to escort the boy to the Academy's Infirmary once his current task was finished. Though, right when the young honey haired male was about to move more of the debris so that he could search for any other potentially trapped students, a musical chord played through the air. The music turned into an ominous melody that was gradually crescendo-ing as the hoody wearing male walked towards the other students with a blade in his hand-No, wait that was his hand.
Llewellyn's momentary surprise caused the young man to be useless in diffusing the situation that was about to unfold.

One of the female students rushed forwards before Llewellyn could get himself to move an inch from the rubble pile he was standing in the middle of. The girl with pig tails then tried to prevent the boy with the hoody from advancing towards Lord Elias by pushing her own weight against the musical teen, a task she seemed to be failing at. The young man did not know what the Weapon Student producing such ominous music wanted with Lord Elias but if he was not responding to the girl in pig tails' words, then the reason was more than likely not a benevolent one. Llewellyn allowed his feet to carry himself forward towards the male, whom he now assumed was upset with Lord Elias and the girl trying to restrain the male. The only thing Llewellyn allowed himself to do was place his hand upon the upset Weapon Student's shoulder. He knew that this would not stop or help calm the male down, but it was what Llewellyn was comfortable with before he attempted to try to restrain the other male with his already waning strength. "Please calm yourself milord. I do not know your concern with Lord Elias, but surely violence is not the answer." Llewellyn could tell that his words alone would not be enough to quell the gradually increasing amount of tension he felt from the male and the music exuding off of him. Still, the young man tried to approach this the peaceful way because he did not wish to fight this young male.

Akron nodded at Armstrong once he explained exactly what he was meant to be doing. He remained still for a moment to just look over the whole thing not much different to what he'd been forced to do at home the difference, however, was that Akron was already somewhat tired likely he'd not make it in any reasonable time but he wasn't going to fail. the clinking would begin again as Akron would start making his way through the course everything else was blocked out as he focused down the task at hand. If there was one thing he'd manage to learn from his family it was that no matter what you ALWAYS FINISH no matter what. moving at a steady pace the 100 meters were not overly difficult, then the hurdles with little change in his pace Akron vaulted over each one his breathing speeding up as he continued moving slowly as he was Akron never stopped if he did it wouldn't be as bad as at home but so heavily ingrained in his mind that he was doing it subconsciously rather then willingly up and down the stairs, he went not even pausing to gaze up at the rock wall nor to catch his breath. Slowly but surly he’d pull himself up it in full metal armor no less a surprisingly impressive feat. Next a balance beam.. still not stopping in Akron’s mind he dreaded the idea of it if there was anything Akron was truely horrific at, it was balancing beams. He wanted to stop... but he couldn’t the feeling of his sisters bearing down on him Was the only thing that made him push forward falling into the water almost instantly hed trudge his way towards the next part monkey bars the fear subsiding for now Akron now they where not to much trouble for him only thing changing was that his breathing had got progressively heavier as he’d moved form obstacle to obstacle. The black out room being destroyed meant that all that was left was the rope climbing Akron stopped only for a moment to position himself correctly heaving both himself his armor up it was far more changeling in his fatigued state almost slipping Akron’s breathing sounded painful staining to reach the bell he'd only barely hit it before his arms would give way sending him tumbling onto the ground below finally done he could rest not moving a muscle more nothing really hurt but his body simply refused to move any more Akron was looking like he’d be getting up any time soon.

Camilla text.png

Camilla had tried to calm down the two males as best she could. To no avail... At least until.... The teacher approached. His intimidating stature and energy being clear signs of the amount of power he holds. Her face cracked in comical fear. "I-I I'm sorry Sir! I tried to calm them down!" Why was she apologising? She did nothing wrong, nor was she asked to break them up. Fear can make you blurt out the weirdest things. "This is the school Doren and Dad trained at? With teachers like that no wonder they were so strong..." She muttered to herself quietly, taking care to make sure no one else heard her. Though she didn't think she needed to worry about that, everyone was far too intimidated by the hulk of a man to take their attention off him. Her mind wandered back to the good days upon thinking of her Father. A slight warmth enveloping her being. A gentle smile could be briefly seen on her features before it disappeared again upon Sir Armstrong's booming voice being heard. "That name is.... Fitting..." Now it was time to begin the tour. They walked all around the school, Camilla sticking close to the group so she doesn't get lost in such a huge place. Stopping at some of the key areas such as the death room, the cafeteria, the track and field... Eventually finishing at their classroom where they were ushered inside.

Now began their first class session. As expected it was really an introductory session, Sir Armstrong going ahead to explain how the DWMA was founded and so forth before getting to the topic of Witches and Kishin. A part that she was intent to listen to. She wanted to know every detail there was to the enemies her Dad faced every day. How they originated, how dangerous they can get, their weaknesses... Her goal was to become strong, stronger than even her own father... It was his dying wish... Camilla's mind started to wander. Dark features now strewn across her face before once again Armstrong snapped her out of it with his booming voice, informing them on the situation of housing. Telling them that they will have to bunk with the partners they get assigned with. That's good news, Camilla being completely new to the city she didn't actually have a place to stay. But... What if she was partnered with a boy? It seemed a little... Awkward that she'd have to live under the same roof as one of her male classmates, in HIS house no less! She was visibly troubled by the whole notion. Though she was innocent as a child, her time training with Doren had been much more educational. Specifically on society and how the real world works. Working under the belief that she'd never make it far in the world without knowing about at least knowing the concept behind the Bees and the birds. That was without a doubt the most Awkward talk she's ever had with him... Or anyone for that matter, She could tell he didn't like it either. All she could do was hope they were nice and wouldn't try anything to take advantage of such a situation... Unlike the first impression she got off the dudes earlier on in the courtyard. The session was now over and Sir Armstrong had announced they were going to the track and field for the upcoming obstacle course. He wanted to see if anyone remembered the way. Pleasetellmesomeoneremembers pleasetellmesomeoneremembers. Unsurprisingly Camilla had already forgotten. Trying to give that girl directions was about as pointless as begging a witch to not turn you into a frog. Luckily for her a couple of the students took it upon themselves to lead the way, and like last time she followed close behind.

She followed everyone to the track and field where she laid upon her eyes on the huge obstacle course that was DEFINITELY NOT THERE BEFORE. Sir Armstrong explained the course, what to expect and how to finish it. She was intimidated but yet she was also confident in the fact that Doren's training had prepared her well for this moment. She still had a lot to improve on though... A whole lot... It was also instructed that upon finishing, Meisters were to allow the weapons to come to them. Was that always how it worked? Someone didn't seem to think so, claiming that he perhaps made a mistake. Though Armstrong looked far to confident in his words to come to that conclusion. He even heard Armstrong ask one of the boys to leave his sword outside of the course in case of any chance that someone would cheat to get ahead. Camilla rested her hand on the bow that was hanging over her shoulder. She didn't want to leave it on the grass... Even with a teacher supervising. She instead opted to just remove her quiver instead, the arrows are after all are the dangerous part of the bow. She set herself up, ready to run the course. People had already started before her so right away she was behind. Feeling rushed she too began to run. Sprinting through the 100 meter dash without much trouble, the hurdles were a bit more troublesome though she managed to jump a few but had to stop on the occasion that she felt she wouldn't make the next. Opting to give herself another running start over it. The staircase was a breeze however, compared to the path up to the academy itself this was nothing. Next up was the rock wall upon witch she was hesitant. Mostly due to the fact she wore a kimono dress. She decided to wait until the male students close behind overtook her before she herself began climbing. The climb itself wasn't that bad, she had a few moments where she lost her grip but stayed determined to hang on. She kept going until she made it to the top. Hoping nobody saw up her dress...

Curious, she went to look down the side of the wall. Seeing a white haired boy lying at the bottom with blissful look on his face and a serious looking nosebleed. Her face reddened but took comfort in the fact that he'd definitely be the one finishing last. "... Enjoy the teacher's hug... perv..." She continued on to the balance beams, taking this part slowly and carefully. Losing her balance now and again where she'd comically flail her arms around trying to stay up. Next she got to the Monkey bars, that part being not as bad yet still tiring all the same. Finally came the maze, they weren't kidding when they said it'd be hard to see in there... It'd might as well be pitch black! Still she steeled her resolve and charged in, feeling around for the walls and finding which path to take. As she continued on she grew confident she was going to blaze through it! She saw a light at the end, surprised at how easy the maze was. She emerged, a triumphant look on her face! ... "Wait... Sir Armstrong didn't say there was more monkey bars...?" Suddenly... At that moment... It dawned on her.... "I'M BACK AT THE START!?!?" This was without a doubt going to be the hardest part of the course. She ran in again and again until she ended up getting lost inside. She turned corner after corner unable to find any way out now. This is it! This was her home now! There's no way she was getting out of here now! However as if some miracle happened. One of the students came through blasting right into the walls, nothing holding him back. The tunnel he made eventually had a light shining through the other side. She peeked through. Large tears formed on each of her eyes. Incredibly grateful to the student. Finally she emerged through the other side, falling to her knees and savouring the light of day. Little did she realise how much she took the sun for granted! "Please don't leave me again Mr Sun! Please light my way!" WELL it still wasn't over. She still had a rope to climb. But that wasn't much of a problem. She climbed up and pressed the button before descending once more onto the grass. Though rather than the face of victory it was instead the face of sorrow. The time she spent failing the maze was unreal. She was without a doubt in there longer than any other student in the class.

Finally relaxing on the grass she managed to get over the whole Maze situation. Although it looks like more trouble was brewing up once more. A a boy with light blue hair and an incredibly pissed off face started making his way towards the blonde student that saved her from the dark horror. Rin was there too, trying her best to stop her but to no avail. Looks like it was time to pay back the favour. "W-Wait! You can't start a fight with him." She ran right towards the blue haired guy. Joining Rin in her attempted to push him back. "Don't do it! He saved me from eternity in that nightmare maze you have... to... Stop... Huh?" As she pushed with all her might she also felt something. Something deep within her soul. She felt like she had some kind of connection to this boy. What? She didn't know, regardless she kept pushing anyway hoping to stop him on his tracks and get him to listen to reason.

1591280671293.pngIkora held her arms up, as the bubbly weapon Juri hugged her tightly placing her face into her boobs. Juri's love for sweets were something far from normal. Armstrong warded Ikora many times about over feeding her with sweets, but she just can't help herself. Seeing the hyperactive Juri always brought joy to herself. As Juri was going through Ikora's bag, her attention was placed on a series of explosions. Her eyebrows raised in question as the apparent maze tent was being destroyed from the inside out. A destructive tactic she didn't expect to see today, but it also ways something she knew for a fact would push Armstrong over the edge. And that it did. The giant of a male erupted in rage as he marched right over towards the twins. His presence now doubt, scaring some of the students. Armstrong was definitely the one to take his teachings seriously, and reacting like this was natural. Ikora only wished he learned to keep his shirt on. That was definitely unnecessary. She glances over towards Juri, who bolted off with her bag of snacks towards Armstrong. Ikora stood there starring at the spot once occupied by Juri's presences. She completely forgot how fast that tiny girl was especially with snacks. For a couple of seconds Ikora forgot that her drinks, and sour patch kids were inside that bag. She knew for a fact she told Juri not to touch those things but obviously she'll never listen. "I'm gonna hurt that little candy fiend." She says as she marches right over towards Juri. Ignore everything going on from Armstrong furiously yelling to a kid seeming like to start a fight. She walks right over towards the side of Armstrong and held her arm into the air jumping up snatching the bag back from Juri. "No one told you take the whole bag with you greedy munchkin." She says glaring towards the weapon on top of Armstrong's shoulders.

Looking amongst the students left on the course, she caught sight of two students laid out on the course. One at the finish line and the other at the rock wall. "Pathetic." She says shaking her head. She reaches into her bag throwing, Juri another bag of sweet candy before walking off. She walks right past her cousin who was still shocked she was here. "Get over it you big baby." She said to Marcus making her way toward Akron. "Hey kid, are you dead??" She asked with her hands placed on her hips. "Maybe if you weren't wearing all that pointless armor then maybe you wouldn't be so out of steam. Why the hell you got all that on anyway?" She ask. "Look ima drag you over there towards everyone else since obviously you're too weak to do it on your own." She says grabbing Akron by his arm, dragging him easily off the track and into the grass. "Marcus, get out their business and bring your lazy ass over here with some water. This kids is gonna die." She says nonchalantly. Marcus was quick to move, far quicker than he was on the track. Ikora then made her move towards the one laid out by the rock wall. She stood over him popping open a can of her Arizona drink. "So what the hell is your problem? I see your nose is bleeding, did you hit yourself or something?? I'm not surprised at the fact the females this year is doing better than some of you males, well besides that one girl from before. She need some work. Now are you gonna get up and finish this course or continue laying there?" She asked taking a sip from her drink.

75463240_p1_master1200.jpgShinobu Basili

Hearing Alice's claim that the compliment was enough, Shinobu closed her eyes and shook her head. Save for people with specific allergies, Shinobu wasn't the type to leave a single girl out there go on without physical proof of her appreciation for them. But she also wasn't the type to press something like this so openly. This girl would be one of her classmates anyway, so she'd probably get another chance to get her one hell of a Bouquet later. For now, however, Shinobu shrugged before following her gaze over to Armstrong. He was in the middle of scolding the crap out of the guy who burned down the maze. In one move he was shirtless and looking as though he was about to throw down at any second.

Noting Alice's comment about how he wasn't going to go easy on them, Shinobu leaned her bouquet on her shoulder again, "I'd be dissapointed if he did." she said as her eyes went to his target. Apparently, Armstrong wasn't the only person gunning for Mr. Maze Stomper. Another student who'd had to fight through the burning Maze seemed to zero in on him and was marching towards him partially transformed with his oddly musical blade arm. Shinobu's eyes casually went from him to his target and Armstrong, watching as more students and even that other teacher girl, Juri, to attempt to defuse the scenario.

"Yep, a pretty bad omen, all things concerned." she agreed with Alice before walking forward "Don't know if pairings are going to make things better or worst at this point.

But while Alice paused on the sidelines to watch, Shinobu kept going. As much as she didn't like getting involved in these kinds of things unless necessary, there was a significant factor that prompted her to plant herself firmly in between blue boy and Mr. Maze Stomper. She'd have greatly enjoyed watching from the sidelines with Alice, maybe even doing a play-by-play of the escalating situation. But given that singular factor, she found herself unable to go with her usual motif. But she wasn't like lil' miss pigtails or the Red-head or even the Long Blonde back there, she didn't immediately rush over to try tugging him away. She didn't have to, everybody could see where he was trying to go.

So instead she stood approximately halfway between him and his target, turning to face him even as the others tried to slow him down.

"I get it, the whole repaying folks who get in your way shtick." she called out while casually patting her Bouquet against her shoulder "Trust me man, in most situations I'd probably mind every shred of my own business here."

With her free hand, she gestured behind herself towards Armstrong, "But I gotta respect the pecking order."

Living with a bunch of Yakuza for most of her life had taught her plenty about what it meant to respect those above her. So just like then, she wasn't about to let an Authority Figure miss out on dishing out a punishment that they had full license to give. It was Armstrong's maze that had gotten destroyed after all, even if this guy did get trapped in the wreckage. She knew he probably was absolutely ready to get some payback for that, but she figured that seeing Mr. Maze Stomper get roughed up would be pretty satisfying for him. And if it wasn't, well...

Letting her free hand fall back to her side, she angled her stance and tilted her head back at Blue Boy, "You want any of him, you'll wait until after Mr. Armstrong's done. Then you can get your turn, pal."
