Tenya smiled, happy to make Uede-kun smile as she seemed to enjoy the stories of All Might. He couldn't help but wonder if she was a fan of All Might as well? Perhaps he should let Izuku know so that the two can discuss more about the number one hero? Though a part of Tenya didn't want that, he wanted to be the one to tell Uede about All Might. He wanted to smile and share laughs with her. Perhaps it was just a silly phase for him, but it has been a while since he fancied a girl. Listening patiently, Tenya took mental notes of what kind of person Uede-kun is. When she mentioned how she hit her own face by accident...well it caused quite a confused look to appear on his face. Huh? He thought hard of what she said, digesting everything. Maybe he took things a bit too seriously at times, but one thing he was known for was just how far he would go for one subject. And his current subject was Uede Mela.

So she liked to bake, well that much was obvious from the first day of class he supposed. As he listened, Tenya blinked over in slight surprise at her sudden question. His soul mark? To think she would so openly ask him such a question. Tenya couldn't help but blush slightly as he wondered if she also felt it? He was certain they were meant to be in some form or another. He wasn't one to dwell on the whole soulmates aspect, but seeing how happy his parents were, well certainly knowing who one's soulmate is doesn't hurt anyone...right? Smiling brightly, Tenya answered her rather proudly, "I have a clock as my mark...why do you ask Uede-kun?" He was hoping that she will tell him her mark as well, but at the same time, he didn't want to know. For he was hoping she'd have the same mark as his. It was possible to meet one's soulmate like this, right?

After having quite a wonderful meal, Tenya was a tad disappointed as his offer to pay for Uede's meal as well was firmly rejected by the brunette herself. Uede-kun was far more stubborn and independent than he originally thought, both can be a charming trait if looked at in a slightly different perspective. He gave her a smile as he told her, "shall we go find some dessert? Also, it would be an honor to walk you home!" He knew Uede didn't live in the dorms and so he deemed it his duty to walk her home. As he turned a corner, Tenya turned around to ask Uede something, "so um Uede-kun, I was wondering if you would like to go on another d-date with me!---...huh? Uede-kun?" only for Uede to be seen nowhere. Strange...did he take the wrong turn?

Shota sipped on his coffee, indulging in the caffeinated drink as he kept an eye on the 'couple'. He let out an annoyed scoff as he wondered what the hell he was doing spying on his students like this. But somehow as he watched Iida ask Uede out...Shota wanted to believe it wasn't what it was. He needed to hear from Uede herself that it wasn't a date. He can keep asking himself why and keep avoiding the answer, but Shota already knew the reason as to why he was this bothered. Shaking his head, Shota told himself it was all due to that damn Uede picking such a costume...just what is she thinking, cat ears!? It's as if she's asking for perverted villains to attack her...not like he could say much for himself though. No, it was because he was worried for her as her teacher...yes and teachers definitely did not think of their students like so...but wait a minute...does U.A even care? Shota stared into his coffee mug, suddenly realizing that U.A never stated in their rulebook (which was surprisingly large, but mainly minor rules) about teachers and students relationships...Shota's eyes slowly widened at his own thoughts.

Shaking his head, he looked across to see the window seat now empty. He raised his head in slight alarm, wondering if he really just lost those two and all because of his stupid thoughts. Pushing aside such thoughts, Shota jumped onto a rooftop, easily spotting the two ahead. Jumping past the two and landing nearby, Shota decided that their little outing is now over. Every fun had an ending, right? Not caring if his logic made sense or not, Shota waited by a wall for the two to pass by him before he reached an arm out and pulled Uede along with him without a word. Walking a few blocks away, Shota turned and released his hold on Uede's wrist as he looked down at her. Many questions ran through his mind, but Shota decided on a teasing comment, "did you have fun on your little date?" He was of course kidding and honestly, he was just wanting to know whether it really was a date or not. He had an inkling of a feeling that All Might was going to be pestering him for an answer all day when Monday comes.

Ignoring any teasing remark, Shota averted his gaze from her as he looked off to the side, covering his mouth with his hand as he mumbled out, "don't get the wrong idea...I just happened to stumble upon you guys and the look on your face..." he paused as he looked at Uede, a small smirk playing across his lips now instead of his earlier embarrassed expression, "you looked like you were calling for help." He was kidding, but he hoped she was looking for a way out...otherwise, he would need to come up with some sort of excuse. Realizing that she has yet to have gotten dessert, Shota rubbed the back of his neck before letting out a sigh, guess he owes her this much, "come on." He didn't explain to her where they were going or for what reason. Instead, Shota arrived at a crepe store that looked far too cute for a man such as himself to enter. Shota refrained from twitching his eye as he simply nudged her inside while saying, "I'm sure someone is hungry after all that fuss..." He was kidding, but hey pulling her leg was always fun. Feeling much better, Shota ignored the voice in his head as he instead focused on Uede. Buying her a crepe, Shota handed it to her before looking to the side as he mumbled out, "I'm sorry about Kurotsuki...we should have stopped them..." he would admit it was his fault. He was the teacher yet he let his students act recklessly. After eating the crepes, he sent her home with a simple explanation that she should be getting rest while caring for Kurotsuki. Mentioning Kurotsuki seemed to do the trick for the brunette.

- M-Monday -

Sunday was normal and honestly nothing interesting for Shota as he simply took that day to grade some papers, teach Mi how to potty train and then spent that night hunting villains down. Shota held back a yawn as he walked out of the teachers' meeting of the week. Honestly, it was pointless to him...why did they even have these meetings...? And to top it off All Might wasn't even here for today's meeting, probably too busy saving the day or something..."OH SHOTAAA" Shota stopped with his thoughts as he realized he should be thankful that All Might wasn't here to bother him and instead looked over to see Hizashi making his way over. Slinging an arm around Shota's shoulders, much to his chagrin, Hizashi continued to speak, "are they alright? I heard that your two new transfer students both called in sick, I wonder what happened?" The rest of Hizashi's words fell on deaf ears as Shota blinked. What? He then looked over the student sick leave file of the week to see that indeed both Uede and Kurotsuki's names were on the list. Just what the hell happened after he left her on Saturday?!

As he arrived to class, Shota looked around and indeed noted that both Uede and Kurotsuki were nowhere to be seen. Iida raised his hand and asked the whereabouts of the two missing students. Shota was certain it was partially due to Uede suddenly disappearing on him during Saturday to which he was positive that Iida spent the rest of that day looking for Uede. Heh. Shota hid his smirk at that thought as he simply answered Iida's question, "ah, those two are apparently sick...speaking of which, who can take the class notes to them or well to Kurotsuki. Apparently, Uede is too sick for anyone to visit." That was a big fat lie, but hey teacher's privileges right? Plus he was sure the class representative would offer if Uede was involved and Shota was not having any of that.

Ruka's shoulders drooped as she let out a relieved sigh. Then why did he even ask her such a question? Before Ruka can go off and scold Todoroki for making her worried, Ruka blinked at his reasons...which were the exact same as her own. Ruka stared over at him for a while longer before she let out a small laugh, "guess we were both worried about the same thing hehe..." Ruka nodded her head in agreement to his words. Yes, why should they be sad? But really, she would have been honestly sad if he actually did move. She was sure Mela and Denki would agree with her and be sad too. Ruka listened to Shoto's reasons for becoming a hero. Huh...so it was mainly to prove his father wrong...?

Ruka's eyes softened as she recalled that yes, Shoto's father is Endeavor, but to think his father held such expectations from Shoto at such a young age. Recalling moments of her own childhood, Ruka could say she could relate to him yet at the same time she couldn't. She wanted to ask him how it felt to have a father who could teach him about his quirk, but she knew that would be a sore subject for him. Smiling softly over at Todoroki, Ruka commented lightly, "that's a very noble way of thinking Todoroki-san...I hope that you have found your own hero that can help you out as well?" Ruka tilted her head as she couldn't help but wonder if he found someone to save him from his own darkness? She then added lightly, "though I wouldn't mind seeing you beat All Might, ah! I meant as in you becoming the number one hero." She let out a light laugh as she definitely meant the other way of beating All Might. That would be one less pervert around her Mela after all.

As their food arrived, Ruka easily cooked up the meat and vegetables as she was quite used to doing so at home often. While stirring the meat in the hot water, Ruka's mind traveled to her own reasons. Why did she want to become a hero? To prove to others that she is hero material and not made to become a villain...? Or was it something more than that. Ruka recalled the one time she saved a child using her quirk. The child was nearly struck by a falling tree, but Ruka used her quirk to consume the tree in time that only ashes flew upon the crying child. Her 'father' was there and he was furious when she used her quirk. Even now Ruka does not know why her father dislikes quirks. Though judging from how her mother reacted, Ruka can only assume it was just her quirk and her's only.

Snapping out of her thoughts, Ruka blinked over at Todoroki before a small smile danced across her lips, "did I? Well you did well too! So there! We both deserve it hehe." Ruka smiled happily over at Todoroki before enjoying the rest of their delicious lunch. She'll have to bring Mela here some other day, she was sure Mela would enjoy it. After lunch, to which Ruka begrudgingly allowed Todoroki to pay as she took his word to heart, the two went on a search for something sweet to munch on. She'll definitely be the one paying next time! The pair walked around downtown in search of something sweet and Ruka ended up picking a cute little bakery/cafe. Entering the sweet-smelling store, Ruka was quick to order a slice of strawberry shortcake, urging Todoroki to order something as well. Once again Ruka was defeated in her feat of trying to pay for dessert and made a mental tab against her and Todoroki. He had two on her currently, she will definitely get those two back next time. "Fine...next time I will pay for us!" Ruka declared as she hid her pout.

Despite her losses in her attempt at paying for the meals, Ruka quite enjoyed her time with Todoroki. She felt much better after he cooled her down earlier that afternoon and so she barely paid mind to her sore body. She kept telling herself that she can just take a hot shower when she got home. Grinning over at Shoto, Ruka lightly commented, "today was fun, thanks for the treats! Ah, but next time it's on me!" Ruka would not forget or so she kept telling herself. Parting ways with Shoto, Ruka made her way home after buying some groceries. She arrived home and took a nice long hot bath as she let her sore muscles relax under the warm waters. She couldn't help but wonder if Shoto's fire could soothe sore muscles as well...shaking her head, Ruka sunk lower in the water before stepping out. She made sure Mela was on her way home before she went on to cooking them some dinner. Ruka decided on a simple fried rice and some dumplings on the side.

As she was cooking, a sudden wave of dizziness hit her before she shook it away. Ruka blinked a few times before shrugging it off. She was probably just tired. Once Mela came over, the two talked about their day, Ruka making sure to ask how Mela's date with Iida went. She was a bit disappointed at the fact that the two did not click well, but Ruka won't force anything that won't make her Mela happy. Ruka pinched Mela's cheek lightly as she mumbled out, "if no one can make you happy, then I'll make sure you are happy..." she gave Mela a teasing wink before making one important phone call before bed. As she held the phone against her ear, Ruka could hear Mela's snippet about pants. She nodded her head to Mela as she spoke into the phone, "ah hello? It's me...yes....yes I'm doing well...ah nevermind about me! More importantly, I need to ask you something...did you mess with Mel and I's costumes?" She felt her eye twitch in annoyance for she stayed silent for several long minutes before she finally received the answer she was waiting for, "Mel said she needs pants." Without another word, she hanged up as she glared at her phone. So he was behind their wardrobe malfunctions after all. Holding back a sigh, Ruka explained to Mela what happened before leaving to sleep. She was still so very tired from the fight against Bakugou and honestly, her head was feeling a bit fuzzy. Falling into her bed, Ruka fell asleep rather quickly.

Waking up the next morning, Ruka couldn't even lift her head up. Her body felt heavy and sore and hot, so very hot. Ruka's eyes were half-lidded as she stared blearily up at the ceiling. What happened...? It's as if Bakugou's gauntlet explosions have hit her two-fold. Groaning softly, Ruka felt her throat dry and raspy while her head was fuzzy and heavy was she...sick? Giving up on even trying to get out of bed, Ruka closed her eyes, falling into the deep abyss of a dreamless sleep as she fell unconscious. Ruka only woke up later into the afternoon to find Mela in her apartment, caring for her. The pink haired girl was too sick to even complain as she simply gave Mela a weak smile. She overdid herself again. At times Ruka would use her quirk too much that the next few days she would get very sick. To think she was still this weak to let it happen to her again...Ruka let out a sigh, quite disappointed in herself honestly.

Come the next morning into Monday, the start of the week and school, Ruka still felt quite awful, if not worse. She forced herself out of bed and made some miso soup as she was woken up by Mela's phone call. Guess she got her friend sick and now Mela was demanding miso soup in return for it all. Ruka made no complaints as she made Mela's favorite soup before heading over to feed her now sick friend too. Sitting back on the couch, Ruka leaned her head against the plush furniture while speaking up, "I think we should call today off...I'll call the school for us... eat up and rest Mel...I'll be back later, okay?" Standing up, Ruka made her way to her room with a slight stagger to her walking. She fell back into the bed before calling U.A and reporting that she and Mela won't be attending school. By how hoarse her voice was and her occasional sniffles, the staff was more than convinced that Ruka was indeed sick. Closing her eyes, Ruka couldn't help but silently apologize to Shoto for not being able to give him the second book. Ruka had half the mind to text Denki to tell Shoto sorry, but she didn't want to bother them with her nonsense as she barely made any sense with her fuzzed up mind.

Mela waved away Tenya's question regarding her soulmate mark. It didn't matter. Maybe she could enjoy his company as a friend now and inform him later that they weren't soulmates and didn't need to waste one another's time. They chatted further and soon it was time to go. Dessert sounded great to her. "I'd like that." She said. He even went as far as to want to walk her home? She didn't have to ask him! How nobel. She kind of wished things between her and Tenya could work out but...there was just no sparkle there. She walked along with him, wondered what they might have. Anything sweet would really do. At this point she wasn't picky at all but before she could say something to her date er friend, she found herself pulled in another direction. Mela looked up. Eeep! Aizawa-sensei? Where did he come from? Had he been stalking her? How sweet~

"Um...Aizawa-sensei?" She looked behind her. What about poor Tenya? He'd think she was just kidnapped. Well, she kind of was being kidnapped. Finally he stopped after some distance had been put between her and the class rep. "Wh-what? Nooo I mean it wasn't a date...well maybe he thought it was but I didn't..." She sighed, her face glowing red. Why did he care? "It was nice, I'll leave it at that." She huffed. Aizawa seemed to struggle for a moment, claiming he was saving her. Really? She narrowed her eyes. "Riiiight. So you were just...doing your heroic duties by...kidnapping me?" She grinned. There was no way she'd be thanking him, if he was looking for that, he'd have to look elsewhere. "Poor Iida-kuuuun." She teased Aizawa with a long sigh, feigning a bit of heartbreak for her classmate. Though she really was worried he might still be looking for her. But yes, she was thankful, very. But Aizawa didn't need to know that.

Much to her delight and surprise he had led her to a very adorable crepe shop. Mela expected to be sent in by herself but Aizawa pushe dher in, coming in behind her. He paid for them and saw her outside. He apologized about what had happened. Oh right. She was mad at him. She glanced down. Now she couldn't yell at him. Why was he taking away all of her fun? "I know...just...don't let it happen again." She muttered, poking him with her free hand, her finger poking him in the chest. Or there would be dire consequences. Mela heading back, enjoying her crepe, having already forgotten about Tenya. When she got home, she let Ruka finish making dinner. In the meantime, Mela was on her laptop and took a quick nap before she went to see how Ruka was. Mela kindly told Ruka she and Tenya wouldn't be going out again, at least as possible lovers. She stuck her tongue out at her friend, "Oh darling, don't promise me such naughty things or I'll take you up on them!" She joked.

Surely Ruka meant well but Mela's heart was firmly stuck elsewhere. It would be cruel to suggest to Tenya otherwise. After a phone call, Mela hoped their costumes would be fixed. Maybe this was Yukito's way of getting her out of her pants? Perhaps! The rest of the night was spent as it usually was but this time Mela called it an early night, knowing they both needed to sleep. The following morning, Mela sent a text Ruka's way but got nothing. Mela let herself in, assuming the worst. Maybe Bakugo came back to the job?! She found a very sick Ruka out of it. So Mela made her tea and went out to get her soup, making sure she rested. Mela got a cool cloth for Ruka as she came in and out of consciousness. "My poor sweet Rukie-chan." She whined. Mela had to leave to sleep at her place that Sunday night but she gave her friend a quick parting forehead kiss before she headed back.

When daylight broke, Mela found herself shaking. She was hot. No. cold. Hot hot hot. She felt like she had been hit by a truck. She eakly grabbed her phone and called Ruka. "You did this to meeee." She cried, trying to hold back a few coughs. Bleh. "Make me some miso soup." She whimpered. She pushed herself up. Suddenly she felt quite homesick. Mela could only nod, not having much energy to try and tell Ruka she could still make it to school. Mela hated missing school. She hated falling behind and who would take her notes just as she liked them? This was horrible. Mela dragged herself out of bed, getting a can of soda before she trudged back to bed, whining even though no one could hear her. Maybe Ruka could at least. She banged on the wall they shared. Damn you. Ruka. Okay now the room was the spinning. She took a drink and curled up. What if All Might thought she was mad at him? She had gotten to talk to Aizawa, well sort of, and put his actions behind her. She buried her head in her covers. When would death just come for her?

Over the next few hours, she fidgeted and took drinks in between light naps. She still had on her pajamas, red cotton shorts and a dark blue tank top, and wished she was being more productive. She finally got back out of bed, needing to quickly vomit. Thankfully she made it to the restroom in time. She flushed and wiped her mouth. Where was that miso soup? Mela rummaged through her food and got out some strawberry ice cream. She liked to keep some around to cheer Ruka up in times of crisis but right now, it would have to do. She served herself a scoop and enjoyed a bit of it, hoping it didn't revisit her in an hour. She felt so unattractive. Shivering violently, she settled back in bed, barely able to walk around much without her legs threatening to give out from under her. At some point Ruka stopped by to visit with her peace offering. Or maybe she was seeing things? Either way Mela told the ghostly apparition she was dying and to tell All Might she loved him. Yes, those were very good last words.

Shoto had a sinking feeling Ruka would be the only one missing him. He doubted Denki or Mela would shed a tear for him. If anything Denki hanging around was another good reason not to stray too far from this area. If anyone was going to save Ruka in times of need, it was going to be him. He blushed lightly as Ruka's comment. It was...sweet. Was she offering? His eyes looked off. "Ah no, Kurotsuki-san. But please, do not fret about myself." He tried to assure her. She then said he could likely beat All Might, expressing interest in seeing it. Really? That was a surprise for him to hear. Shoto nodded, "I hope Uede-san doesn't overhear you aiding the downfall of her hero." He teased Ruka. He didn't know if he would ever go after the number one hero. All Might wouldn't be around forever. No, the guy had to step down at some point. Shot didn't want to beat him that way though. If he was going to go up against him, it would be for real and not due to his father's insistence. Like Bakugo, Shoto had dreams of being the best which meant beating the best.

Though unlike Bakugo, Shoto didn't walk around with a chip on shoulder. At least not anymore. Shoto wanted to be a person others could look up to. He wasn't in it for some selfish reasons like Endeavor. At least he hoped not. He looked to Ruka when she pointed out he also deserved some kind of treat as well. Oh yes. He had won his match hadn't he? Somehow it felt so long ago. He chuckled lightly. So there was no hard feelings for him beating her dope of a friend, Kaminari? Good. "Only because you insist, Kurotsuki-san." He smiled to her, smiling was becoming much more natural. More frequent. Shoto considered he may visit his mother tomorrow. It may be too soon to ask Kurotsuki to accompany him but he would like her to someday while the weather was still agreeable. His mother was ever curious about meeting her son's new crush.

The pair found a bakery and both lucked out at finding something left over from the morning and lunch rush. He was at this point, unsurprised by Ruka's tendencies to gravitate toward strawberries and things made with them. Shoto found a chocolate tart topped with fresh berries. He sat outside with her as they enjoyed the day together. If only it didn't have to end. He waved as she left after they made quick work of their sweets. "Of course, I am looking forward to it." He told her. He wanted to ask her if she was free tomorrow. But he knew she would have to rest. He's insist upon it. But he also recalled the book saying not to seem too eager. But to also not seem too aloof. Those were two very contradictory things he considered, not sure where the right line was. Maybe he'd ask her out again come Monday morning? Yes, he would have to make sure Kaminari was nowhere before he asked if she'd like to grab movie and a drink or perhaps dinner. If she was paying, it would be up to her but he thought there shouldn't be as much time between their outings. No, he would much prefer to spend more time with her, if possible.

Come Monday morning, Shoto arrived early and waited by the gate. As the minutes ticked by, he paced around, wondering if he had gotten the day or time wrong. Was it Monday...? Yes, it was. He didn't have any way of contacting her and he began to fear she had gotten snatched or something. No. There were pros that often patrolled the cityscape but still, would it hurt for Todoroki to go and check quickly before class? The bell rang and his heart sank. Where was she? Was she okay? He didn't even seen her shadow bouncing around babbling about All Might either. Were they both absent for some reason? Shoto slowly made his way to class, finding himself a lot less excited for the day. As usual he ignored the swooning of the girls he passed in the halls, his mind far far away. He slouched in his chair but found his attention caught by Aizawa's words. She was sick? No. He quickly got to his feet, showing an odd amount of emotion. "I'll go." He said. His expression no room for argument.

Meanwhile Denki let out a whine. "Whaaat? Don't send him to her house!" He protested. Denki was a few seconds shy of being the one who could go. He banged his hand on the table in annoyance. He'd have to find another reason to see Ruka and make sure she was okay. He gave Shoto a glare as class kicked off. Denki ran a hand through his hair. So Ruka was unwell? He had to wonder what had happened. She seemed fine a few days ago, save for the burn and all that. And then Mela got it too? Denki spent the rest of the day keeping to himself, much to the delight of his classmates, no longer needing to deal with his random dumb comments or outbursts. Meanwhile, Shoto was rather pensive as well. Without Ruka, he had to note the class didn't feel the same. Though when Aizawa-sensei listed off their new partners this week, he was glad Ruka wasn't around. She would have been with Mineta of all people. And Mela? Bakugo. Shoto shot Mineta a glare as the tiny perv lamented not being able to stick himself to Kurotsuki. Before Mineta could go into further detail about how he'd beat her, he caught a nasty look from both Shoto and Denki, shutting up. Now with new images in his head regarding poor Ruka and Mineta, Shoto felt a bit ill.

Once classes ended for the day, it felt like they dragged on forever, Shoto jumped up to get the notes from Aizawa-sensei. Hopefully these would do. He made a stop by the library to copy his own notes for her to have in addition to the ones provided by Aizawa. He was also given her address by Aizawa who looked up her file. He was suddenly nervous as he took the bus downtown. Would Ruka want to see him in her state? He eyed her address crumpled in his sweaty hands. No. He could help her. He had used his ice quirk and maybe if she was cold, he could use his fiery quirk too? Maybe. He stopped by a convenience store and bought some things she may find useful. Or thoughtful. Shoto found his way to her apartment though he was stuck standing outside of it for an agonizing amount of time. Just knock, damnit. Shoto could fight his father but he couldn't knock on a girl's door? How pitiful. He looked down at his big with soup and drinks and even a cute stuffed strawberry plush. That last purchase was on a whim. He raised his arm and knocked, hoping she would hear him. He waited and when it opened, he smiled to her, trying to act like the day had been normal and not at all disappointing and worrying for the boy. "Kurotsuki-san, I came by to see you." He said. "May I come in?" He asked. He was glad to see her but he didn't think it would be exactly mutual given how unwell she must feel.

Ignoring the loud wailings of half the students, Shota simply nodded his head to Todoroki, glad the more reasonable and responsible one was volunteering. He'd probably hear no end of it if the likes of Mineta or worse Bakugou went to Kurotsuki's house and what he meant by he won't hear the end of...well it was Uede's ramblings that won't stop if such a thing happened. Ignoring the rest of the students clamoring about, Shota continued to speak, beginning to list out the next set of pairs for this week's training. It was a good thing Uede was absent and Kurotsuki for that matter as Shota listed the names out, "Mineta and Kurotsuki...Bakugou and Uede..." and the list went on.

He held back a sigh as Mineta fell to the floor in despair while Bakugou looked annoyed about having a partner who wasn't even here. Mineta raised his hand, "sensei! Is it possible for me to go to Kurotsuki's? I mean we are partners after all." Shota saw this coming from a mile away. Without missing a beat, the dark-haired teacher denied Mineta, "no, Todoroki already volunteered and plus, you and Bakugou are now partners since you two have absent partners." It was as if Mineta's soul slowly left his body at the mention of being Bakugou's partner. Sighing, Shota continued on with class despite the odd squeezing in his chest. It was quiet...too quiet. Shota thought to himself despite all the crying and chatter that was going on in the class. Was it because a certain brunette wasn't around...?

After school, Shota sat at his desk in the teachers' office just staring at the folder on his desk. He already gave the notes to Todoroki and the address to Kurotsuki's as well, but what about Uede? He could expect Kurotsuki to just share with Uede, but that wasn't why he took Uede out of the picture for visiting...no, it was mainly to keep her to himself if he must put it bluntly. Fortunately, there was no one who can read minds as a quirk among the staff here...so his thoughts would be safe for now. Standing up, Shota grabbed the folder and headed out, recalling where Uede lived as he took her home twice by now. On his way there, Shota stopped at a store after a moment of silent contemplation. Walking inside, he let his eyes travel around the small store wondering why he was even here to begin with. Remembering how Hizashi would not leave him alone today, Shota held back a sigh as he bought a few medicines and a cold pack while grabbing some jellos and miso soup. Hizashi was bugging him saying that he wasn't himself today...and well maybe the loud mouth was right for once. Shota knew the only answer to this would be visiting Uede and making sure she was fine. It'll be problematic if she no longer rambles...yes, that was why he was going. Plus he was the teacher, if the student was too sick for another student to visit, then the job falls to the teacher...right?

He stared up at the apartment complex for a moment in silence before walking up the stairs. He made sure there was no Todoroki in sight when he arrived at the front of Uede's apartment door. It'll be troublesome if Kurotsuki gets wind of what he's doing...shuffling the items in his hand, Shota was about to ring the doorbell when he heard something shuffling nearby. In his surprise and due to not wanting Kurotsuki to find him, Shota hoped her door was open and entered silently. Closing the door behind him, Shota let out a sigh as whoever it was passed right by the door. Realizing what he just did, Shota shook his head. Well too late now. Entering the apartment, Shota looked about before walking over to what seemed like the door to another room. He knocked on it before speaking up as he leaned against said door, looking down at Uede, "to think you're actually sick."

Meanwhile early that Monday morning, a loud laughter resonated from a room before a loud crash was heard. Yagi wobbled as he stood up, coughing out some blood as he stared at his reflection in the mirror. Okay, so maybe he was trying too hard to motivate himself this morning. Holding back a groan, Yagi stood up straight, cracking his back as the events of Saturday afternoon came flooding back into his mind. Running up and down the stairs from the first floor to the twentieth was tough...his calves were still burning and he was even in his All Might form until halfway through. Yagi held back a sigh as he got ready for another day of school. On his way there, he helped various people out from carrying groceries for an elderly woman to helping a cat stuck in a tree to grabbing a balloon stuck on the side of a building to...many other small helpings. Yagi was out of breath as he finally arrived at U.A...why did it feel like there were a lot more people in need this morning? He was even late due to all that! As he entered the teachers' office, he apologized profusely to Principal Nezu who merely waved a hand with his carefree laughter ringing loudly, "oh All Might, it's alright. You didn't miss much really....though I must say you watered those flowers wonderfully last time...care to do that every week from now? Well anyways, I'll leave it to you All Might." With a single pat on his shoulder, the little mouse walked off with a grin on his face. Yagi stared weakly after him, wondering why he felt like Principal Nezu was not laughing because of that but more due to his morning events...?

After feeding Mela some miso soup, Ruka retreated to her own room where she fell to the bed. She'll eat something later...closing her eyes Ruka fell back asleep after making sure to call in sick for both her and Mela. How long has passed since then? Ruka wasn't sure, but at the sound of the door ringing, Ruka's light blue hues fluttered open slowly before closing for a moment longer. A soft hiss escaped her lips before Ruka stood up, wondering why Mela didn't just let herself in. Did she run out of miso soup? She'll probably have to make more then. Sitting up in her bed slowly, Ruka was clad in a large white hoodie and nothing else. Why did she need to wear pants when she was just going to be at her house all day anyway? The only person she'd see is Mela and they both have seen each other without nothing on since young, it was nothing new. Though Ruka must say, wearing no pants can be a strange feeling. She can only hope Yukito would be feeling kind enough to send Mela some sort of pants.

Brushing aside a few stray locks of her disheveled long pink tresses, Ruka stood up slowly, the fever still there as her face felt flushed while her eyes were half-lidded. Groggily Ruka opened the door without even checking as she opened her mouth to question Mela when all words left her. Heck, she was sure she died slightly just now. There before her stood Todoroki with a few things in his hands. Ruka blinked a few times, trying to process what was going on before hearing him speak. Did he come to see her? Did he hear she was sick? Her face turned red not because of her fever as she realized that she was a mess right now. Her hair was tangled and a mess while she was only clad in a hoodie. As much as she would have loved to close the door on his face, Ruka couldn't even react properly as she simply moved to the side and stuttered out softly, "a-ah....yes, please come in." How she managed to be polite was beyond her as she placed her hands on her cheeks. Well...this is embarrassing.

Turning around once they were in her apartment which was relatively clean despite her being sick for a few days now, Ruka looked over at Todoroki, her initial shock gone now as she was now hazy with a fever, "um Todoroki-san.." what did she want to say? That she's been thinking of him and been wanting to say...oh right that's what she wanted to say. Bowing her head, Ruka mumbled out, "I'm sorry!.... I didn't come this morning like I promised..." Ruka looked up at him with a slight frown, her voice a tad softer than normal as couldn't raise her voice any louder at the moment. Realizing that they were just standing there, Ruka began to flail her arms only for her eyes to spin slightly as she wobbled, she should not have done that..." oh please take a seat!" Ruka motioned to the couch in her living room as she turned around to head into the kitchen, "did you want something to drink or anything? Ah, please wait a moment--" her words died in her throat as Ruka could feel the world spinning a bit too much after all the flailing and panicking she just displayed.

She could feel herself falling to the floor though thankfully cool arms caught her in time. Ruka looked up at Todoroki with a small smile as she murmured out, "ah...thank you.." she closed her eyes as she leaned into him. She had no clue she just fell right into his arms instead of him catching her....she'd probably go crawl into a hole if she knew she just threw herself at him. Well, it wasn't exactly that, but in Ruka's mind, it would somehow turn into that. Glancing up at him, Ruka cast a weak smile while murmuring out, "you're so cold...it feels nice..." so maybe her sane side has left Ruka as she had been holed up in her apartment weakling crawling about surviving along with Mela. Speaking of which...she'll probably have to cook Mela something later and wait if he was here...then was someone sent for Mela?

Sitting on the couch, Ruka pouted up at Todoroki as she insisted she was now fine. She just had a bit of a dizzy spell as she moved about too quickly in such a short amount of time. That and it was probably due to her having not eaten anything yet. "So what did I miss in class...? Oh, do you know who our partners are for this week?" Ruka would have to apologize to whoever her supposed partner is. Ruka sat up a bit more as she finally took note of what exactly Todoroki was holding in his arms. Was that a....strawberry...? Crawling across the couch, Ruka sat next to him as she stared down at the plush berry with wide eyes. She looked up at him before looking back down at the strawberry, "is that...a strawberry..?" She finally murmured out. Was that a jumbo strawberry that she can eat...though it looked a tad too soft for it to be real..but still she can dream, right?

It was quite a nice apartment Mela had. The kitchen was more modern and roomy than most other Japanese kitchens. She ensured her kitchen was well suited to her baking needs. She had a full sized oven and a larger stovetop. The kitchen itself was covered in dark wood and smooth black countertops. The kitchen fed into a sitting room and a balcony, as well as a small bathroom and closet. There were photographs of Mela and her family hung up, as well as a nice tv in the corner, in front of it a cozy kotatsu for the chillier seasons. There was also a simple suede cough and coffee table positioned to enjoy the view outside. To the right of the entryway, there was a hallway where Mela had her room, along with a spare which she used as a study and library of sorts. Mela perked her head up as she heard knocking. Ruka never knocked, she just barged in.

Sitting up, Mela rubber her eyes, wondering who else could be in her house. She glanced around. Weapon? No real weapon huh? Mela decided she could probably just cough on whoever was trying to rob her. She walked over and opened the door. Okay. Now she had to be seeing things. Haha what would Aizawa-sensei be doing at her place of residence? And how did he get in? Surely she locked it? Or maybe she forgot in her sick stupor. No she had to be imagining this. She reached out and poked his arm before jumping back. Ack, no. He was very much real. She gave him a look, realizing how casually dressed she happened to be. At least she had pants? And at least she didn't try anything else, still under the assumption he was just a figment of her vivid imagination. If she didn't check first, she may have very well dragged him back to bed with her.

"Wha-what are you doing here?" She blushed as she felt like she might just topple over. What did he want? Couldn't he just wait to bother her at school? Or was he that eager to shove some homework at her? She glanced off before she pushed him away from her bedroom. Despite being sick, her apartment was quite neat and tidy but she still didn't want him going in her bedroom. Who knows what she'd try to do in her condition? She ushered him into the living room. "Aizawa-sensei...of course I'm sick...sessh." She sighed, this much excitement couldn't be good for her health. It felt like the whole place suddenly flipped upside down. She headed over to the kitchen slowly, making sure she didn't misstep. With her sick, she knew her quirk was greatly impaired. Her mind was racing as she worried how he must think of her like this, in such a state. She thought so highly of him and she was a total mess, barely able to think straight.

"D-do you ummm want...anything?" Mela asked him weakly, Just because she was sick, didn't mean she'd be a bad host. Her family raised her far better than that. Then again, she wasn't sure he should be accepting anything she had to offer. "I don't want you getting sick. I'd feel terrible." She whined lightly as she checked her fridge. Oh, that cool air felt nice. Mela bent down and looked around, finding some cool cans of sweetened green tea. She grabbed the can and then fell face first into the fridge. Well it still felt nice. Mela was somewhat glad to have some company, even if it was Aizawa's. She would have some to witness her last few moments on Earth. She groaned. "Um.~ Should she ask for help? No no she was fine right where she was. She didn't want to be a bother. Why hadn't she thought of face planting in someplace cool to begin with?

Noting her clothes, he wished he had been able to call and save her some embarrassment. He could almost feel it rising off of her. He smiled gently, feeling a bit overdressed, still in his school uniform. He was quietly thankful that Bakugo nor Kaminari or Mineta for that matter were in his shoes. He stepped inside and carefully removed his shoes. He looked around. It was nice and larger than he expected. He kept hold of his plastic bag as he moved further into her domain. He had never been to a girl's home before. Not even to study. "Oh." She was apologizing? He laughed lightly. she was quite cute when she was sick. Though even when she wasn't sick, she was still cute. He needed her to stay calm though. It would be for her own benefit that she not get too excited. "Please don't apologize, you were sick. I was worried but I understand you not meeting me." He said. Well, he was still worried actually.

Shoto looked around before she moved him into the living room. "Thank you." He said, feeling almost as shy as she was likely feeling. He saw her start to fall. Even though she was trying to be a considerate host, he didn't need her taking care of him. Part of his reasoning for coming over was so he could look after her. Shoto had looked after his mom more often so he knew what it entailed. He swept forward and caught her, his arms circling around Ruka's waist as he lifted her back up to her feet. "You don't need to make such a fuss." He said lightly, almost lecturing her. "I need you to just focus on getting better. Please, don't worry about me. I even brought things for us to enjoy together. So please, try to relax." Shoto said, his tone still firm but gentle.

Upon hearing Ruka compliment his cooling quirk, he felt a wave of heat cross through his face. No one had really complimented him in such way. Was he that cooling upon just a simple touch? Shoto scooped her up and carried her back to the couch and set her down, sitting beside her. At least she had a bit more color to her face. A little. "Ah you're partner?" He swallowed. He didn't want to make her anymore ill than she already was but he supposed maybe this would make her feel a bit better about missing school. "Well your partner is very heartbroken. It's Mineta." He told her with a frown. To be honest, he was very glad Ruka hadn't been placed with him, though why Aizawa-sensei would dare put Ruka against him was odd. "He ended up having to be Mela's partner who...was Bakugo." He explained. But he didn't really want to get into the politics of their classroom. No, that didn't matter.

He pulled out the plush he had bought for her on a whim. He didn't think it was very thoughtful but he hoped she liked it anyway. "Why yes it is, wonderful observation." He smiled, for a moment wanting to address her as Ruka. Why did Bakugo get to do so, anyway? He gave it a squeeze and handed it to her. It was an ordinary strawberry, though it was very soft and about the side of an American football. Shoto handed it to her, hoping she'd like it. "I thought if I couldn't keep you company this week...you'd like the company of this." He said, blushing slightly. The book advised him to bring some kind of a nice gift, not too expensive but still thoughtful and unique to the person you were trying to court. He also pulled out two cans of soda and gestured to them. "Are you drinking enough fluids?" He asked her, putting a cooling hand to her forehead. She was quite hot. He thought about how alone she must feel, in a new city without anyone except an equally sick friend next door. "I can't help but feel somewhat responsible for this." He muttered, thinking he had caused such a fever due to his use of his quirk on Saturday.

Shota watched amusedly as Mela looked quite out of it. He remained still and silent as she reached a finger out and poked him. He lifted a brow at this, she did something similar last time when they got crepes...did she just like touching his chest or something? But it certainly was amusing to see the different expressions running through her face as she finally seemed to realize that yes, he was actually here. As he was pushed out to the living room, Shota merely mumbled out, "you're sick..." as if it was the most obvious answer as to why he is here. He walked into the living room, taking note of how large the place was. He looked about the place, noting it to be quite neat and turning around Shota was about to ask how she was surviving when he heard a thump.

He looked over to see Mela was nowhere to be seen. Walking around into the kitchen, Shota held back a sigh as he saw her just laying in the fridge. What happened...well he had no clue and he rather not know. Holding back a chuckle, he reached over and scooped Mela up into his arms. Walking to the couch, he placed her down gently before placing a hand on her forehead. He stared into her eyes while doing so before pulling away and heading towards the kitchen, "just lay down...you have a fever." He sighed slightly before pulling out a few things form the bag he brought with him. He took note of an empty pot on the counter and guessed it was probably 'Ruka's miso soup' the best in the world according to Mela herself.

Boiling the pot with water, he added some fish soup stock before mixing in some miso that he bought. Tasting it, Shota deemed it tasted like a miso, how much better than Kurotsuki's well he wasn't sure of that. As he let the soup simmer slightly, Shota walked over and pulled out the jello that he bought and some drinks as well. Placing it all on a tray, Shota walked back to where Mela was on the couch as he sat down next to her, placing the tray on her lap. He gave her a pointed look while saying, "eat up while it's still hot." He looked off to the side while adding in a mumble, "I'm sure Kurotsuki's is better...but you'll have to do with this for now." Not wanting her to even start teasing him about it, Shota took hold of the spoon and lifted it to her lips, silencing her with the soup.

As she ate, Shota looked about and was glad for once to have not told Yagi about Mela being sick. That and he was glad to keep Iida and a few other eager students of his away from her. He glanced over at Mela, noticing her clad so lightly and he averted his gaze. Looking about, Shota noted there to be a blanket on the other end of the couch. Grabbing it, he draped it across her shoulders as he murmured out, "you'll never get better if you're dressed like that..." yeah he was glad no one else saw this sight of Mela before...minus Kurotsuki he supposed.

Ruka was as red as a strawberry when Shoto picked her up and placed her down on the couch. No one has carried her like before...minus one annoying Yukito she supposed. Ruka couldn't help but lean against Shoto, enjoying the coolness of his body...having a quirk like this must be nice Ruka mused softly to herself. She looked curiously over at him when he mentioned bringing a few things that they can enjoy. He even went out of his way to buy her something? Ruka was quite touched and honestly happy. No one has really taken care of her when she was sick other than Mela or the housekeeper who was hired to care for her. She smiled softly as she sat beside him.

Though at the mention of who her partner was, Ruka blinked a bit before nodding her head, "I see..." when she heard who Mela's partner was Ruka was quite relieved to have taken school off today. Maybe she'll just skip the entire week...she did not want to imagine what Bakugou would say to get on Mela's nerves...Ruka placed a hand against her side, recalling the handprint of a burn located there. She can just imagine Bakugou using her to get to Mela....a porcupine thing to do honestly. And then Mineta? Well, Ruka had no clue what Aizawa was thinking except that he planned this all along...but Ruka would have loved to burn that piece of grape to the ground. Or maybe not...she rather not have him get close to her when in her costume. She's seen the way his eyes shined when he looked at her and Mela.

She stared in slight awe as Todoroki gave her the plush berry. Hearing his explanation, Ruka felt her heart skip a beat, wondering if that was because of her fever, but then again her sense of logic was a little off today. She stared at the berry in her hands before squeezing it tightly against her chest with a happy smile dancing across her lips, "thank you Todoroki-kun!" Ruka accidentally blurted out before doing the unthinkable, or well normal Ruka would have been yelling and burning sick Ruka to the ground, she leaned over and literally just threw herself at Todoroki, hugging him tightly happily. Maybe a bit too happy for she nuzzled her head against his while thanking him and telling him that she'll treasure the little berry.

Pulling away after a little while, Ruka took note of the soda cans and reached for one happily. Placing it against her cheek Ruka let out a soft sigh, "mm that hits the spot..." before opening it and taking a few sips of it. Ruka blinked over at him, frowning slightly as she reached a hand out and pinched his cheek, much like how she does to Mela, as she said, "why are you blaming yourself? If anyone should be at fault, it's me." Ruka will regret this later when she finally gets a hold of herself, but sick Ruka is not normal. Looking down at the strawberry in her lap, Ruka continued her explanation, "whenever I overuse my quirk...I tend to get a really high fever afterward and well I get sick for a few days after. So if anyone is at fault, it's me so please don't feel sorry. Plus you were so kind enough to bring little berry and some treats too!" Ruka quipped happily before asking him curiously, "did you bring anything else?" A small treat or something cool would be nice, though Shoto himself was quite cool enough for Ruka.

When she felt someone picking her up, she made a whine but it may have come out a meow of sorts. Mela had no idea where she was going or how exactly she was getting wherever that was. She settled on the couch and let out a sigh. Wait, Aizawa-sensei was here? When did he get here? She then remembered she already had this conversation. Sort of. She felt her own core temperature rising when he touched her forehead and stared at her. Before she could blurt out how handsome he was, he left to go do something, somewhere. Falling sideways, she laid on the couch, curling up, grabbing a grey fleece blanket and draping it over her. Though a few minutes later, she kicked it off, not cold any longer. Aizawa was in her house, she had to keep telling herself as she let out a moan. How could this be a dream but also a nightmare? Mela pushed herself up when Aizawa soon returned.

She eyed what he had in his hands. Food? Aww he was so sweet. She was tempted to start crying but she refrained from doing so. But didn't Aizawa have work to do or people to save? She couldn't believe he was taking his time to prevent her from dying. Aizawa seemed determined to not let her start babbling though as he held a spoon up to her lips. She stared at him wide eyed. He was going to feed her? She grinned and parted her lips, letting out a hum of approval. It wasn't like Ruka's but it was still pretty good. Any miso would do the trick in a time of need. And it tasted even better because Aizawa had gone out of his way for her. And it also showed he remembered something so innocuous she had mentioned a while ago. She enjoyed the miso soup and the jello, finding it quite light and soothing. Mela blinked when he had grabbed the blanket and put it back over her. In her mind, she wasn't dressed too badly. "At least I'm wearing pants." She giggled.

Although if he wanted, she would be happy to take them off. Squirming slightly, she laid down and rested her head on his lap, sighing. Yes, she was just getting comfortable. Mela nuzzled her cheek against his leg. "Thank you for coming over." She said. She had to wonder about Iida or Midoriya or All Might but they weren't the main focus for the sickly archer. Mela was impressed he hadn't mentioned school or studying or anything like that yet. "Aizawa-sensei is sooo nice." She praised. "He's as nice as he is handsome." She said. That was meant as a compliment. Hopefully he took it as such. Laughing to herself, she moved from her side to lay on her back, looking up at him. "Aizawa-sensei~ Did yooou miss me today~?" She asked him. How could he not? "I still can't believe you brought me things." She said in awe. "That is so sweet. I mean most guys who break into a girl's house aren't this nice." Now she was beginning to babble. "You're gonna make some lucky lady....a lucky lady." She laughed, waving a finger up at him, pouting at the thought of him dating someone.

Ruka's reaction to the small gift was worth the agony he had spent mulling over whether or not she'd think it was silly or lame. He had no idea what girls liked. He had stood in the store, rubbing his head long enough to get strange looks from the clerk at the counter. Still, that was all woth it to see Ruka take a quick liking to the plump berry. He smiled, feeling like he had done well in that regard. He had noticed her touch her burn where Bakugo had touched her at the mention of Bakugo. He was sure the sickness of both Kurotsuki and Uede was unpleasant but still well timed. He clenched his jaw, knowing Mineta would just grab onto Ruka and never let go. Or he'd try to take all sorts of pictures of her in that costume of hers. He was quite glad Aizawa's plan hadn't gone accordingly. If that was the case. He had to wonder when he might be paired with her. It was an option he was looking forward to though with their outfits now part of their Saturday skirmish, he was even more excited to go against her. Purely for stragteic reasons.

"Y-you're--" He was cut off when his name reached his ears. He found himself blushing once again, not at all minding her calling him that. Though Shoto had to wonder if she would remember calling him such once her fever broke. Perhaps not. So he'd enjoy it while he could. "You're welcome, Kurotsuki-chan." he said, wrapping an arm around her as she clung to him. He used his ice to cool her off slightly as he enjoyed having her this close to her. Even when unwell, she still smelled of strawberries. He licked his lips, telling himself to just focus on being a good caretaker, though he had to note this privacy was nice to have with her, regardless of her mental erm loopiness. Shoto would have liked to keep her close against him but instead he pulled away and enjoyed her drink, still clearly overheating. He jumped when she pinched him. "I just don't want to be the cause of your condition, I wouldn't forgive myself." He tried to explain. Though at her own explanation, he was glad it wasn't his fault she was sick. But that didn't change the fact he still intended to take care of her.

At the question of what else he brought, he smiled slightly. He almost felt like a summer time Santa. He bent down and took out some soup. She still had to eat something. He hoped she liked it. He picked out a light chicken based broth and he even picked up a small packet of crackers. "I'll go heat this up real quick." Shoto said, patting her leg before he got up and went into the kitchen. He microwaved the small plastic bowl and kept an eye on it, making sure it wasn't too hot. He tested it with his finger and applied a bit of ice and fire before he deemed it the ideal temperature for her. He walked back and handed her the bowl as well as the chips. As she ate, he slipped his arm back around her, able to regulate her own comfort with his ice, hoping his touch was delicate enough. He watched her closely, bringing his other hand around to fix her messed up hair. Of course he didn't mind the way she looked, he was only trying to help. "I hope you know how beautiful you are, Kurotsuki-san, even when you're sick." He said, unable to stop the words from leaving his lips.

Shota let out a small sigh, one of relief as he fed Mela the soup. At least this way she won't start babbling about who knows what. From what he could tell...Mela was a bit out of it. He eyed her warily after he placed the blanket across her shoulders before she retorted about wearing pants at least. He hid his face as the memory of Mela's costume came floating to his mind. Damn it...and here he's been trying his best to keep the image out of his mind. The cat ears were honestly the killing part to her costume, one that he wouldn't mind toying with. Pushing aside his thoughts, Shota kept his face as impassive as possible as he replied back, "Uede...you're really sick, aren't you?" Her giggles seemed a bit different from usual, though the little blush on her cheeks and how she spoke almost reminded him of someone...but who...? An image of a fluffy brown blob came into mind and Shota nearly smacked himself as he realized he was comparing Mela to a cat.

Feeling something soft and ticklish on his leg, Shota looked down and was startled to see Mela getting comfortable as she lay her head on his lap, her chocolate colored hair splayed about like a sleek curtain on his lap. He blinked down at her, surprise evident on his face as he could not believe the fiery little Mela would do this. She would be biting him not cuddling up to him usually. But now he was in a dilemma...what was he supposed to do? As a man, he quite enjoyed this, but as her teacher, he really shouldn't be...so now then....where the hell was he supposed to place his hands?! He was tempted to reach out and stroke her hair, but he was afraid she wouldn't stop rambling if he did so.

Though either way it seemed like Mela was going to ramble anyway. Shota blinked down at her, patiently listening to her rambling though when she called him handsome...well maybe there was a micro blush on his cheeks...maybe. He looked away for a moment as he decided that a sick Mela is dangerous...too dangerous for any male. And so he was quite glad that no one else came to visit her but him, he'd probably drag them back to U.A if anyone even tried. Feeling her shift, Shota glanced down at her in question before seeing her facing him. Her words...they honestly were a bit out there and hardly made sense, but a small smile danced on his lips as he reached a hand out while giving in to his desire...petting her hair wasn't against any law...right? "Hmm, you missed me huh...I suppose the classroom was too quiet without you." Shota mused aloud as he stroked her hair, letting his long fingers comb through her short locks.

Ruka was looking over at Shoto with childlike curiosity. She was smiling over at him as she sat on the couch, facing him with her knees bent under her. She scooted over to peer at what else Shoto brought before she clapped her hands happily at the mention of food. She hasn't eaten yet so that sounded very nice. "Aw thank you Todoroki-kun! You're too kind." Ruka happily sat down and waited for him to finish heating the food up, cuddling the plush against her chest as she waited. Ruka eagerly ate the bowl of soup and crackers as Shoto sat beside her. She was tempted to offer him some of the food, but even in her sick state, she had that much sense to know a sick person should not share food. Feeling the cooling touch of Shoto's arm, Ruka happily ate while staying cool, her flushed cheeks slowly going down into a lighter pink tone.

She stared up at Todoroki for a moment when he began to fix her hair. Ah...she forgot to brush her hair. Honestly, her mind skipped a few steps whenever she was sick. Ruka blushed slightly as she looked down at her bowl for a moment before smiling up at him, "do you really think so? Hehe...I think you're very handsome too!" Boy is she going to be hiding in a hole after remembering all this later. After eating, Ruka let out a small satisfied sigh before leaning back into Shoto. She nuzzled against the crook of his neck as she sighed. He felt very cool and it was relieving to her hot skin. Blame it on her quirk, but whenever Ruka got a fever, she would get quite warm, nearly flaming hot.

Blinking up at him, Ruka pulled back enough to look at his face as she asked him, "Todoroki-kun, did you want to read the book by the way?" She still remembered that since even when alone she was mentally berating herself for not being able to give him the book. Standing up with a slight wobble, Ruka walked towards the large bookshelf, leaning up and grabbing the book. Once she did, she wobbled back to the couch where she just sat down...right onto Todoroki's lap. Ruka smiled up at him before leaning back and getting comfortable. She handed him the book while she reached for her strawberry plush. "Thank you for coming...it made me very happy hehe." Ruka murmured out shyly. She never really had anyone come to visit her when she was sick...so this was a refreshing and nice experience.

Had Mela been aware as to what sort of problematic situation Aizawa felt he was in, she would have insisted he wasn't really her teacher at the given moment. And they were both consenting adults, maybe her a bit more consenting than he was. Still, she would have taken great delight in knowing just how much trouble she was causing him. Couldn't he just take her thoughts and untangle them himself? She was sick, why did she have to make sense? She was just enjoying some attention though she had to wonder if Ruka was okay. It had been a while since they texted one another. But when Aizawa's hand came down to rest upon her head, Ruka was forgotten about in her haze. Mela let out a hum of contentment, smiling even more if that was even possible.

"You're supposed to say you missed me too." She sighed dreamily. It was okay though, he wouldn't admit it but she knew he missed her. Otherwise why not send someone else to deal with her? Her brown eyes fluttered closed as she took stock of how she felt. Now that she had a bit more in her stomach, she was feeling better, a bit. And the jello had been really good too. She still felt a bit sore and tired. How long would she have to suffer like this? Mela decided to stop thinking about how terrible she felt and instead focused on how comfortable Aizawa-sensei was. He was quite warm though he seemed even less talkative than usual. Of course Mela couldn't connect the dots that his own inner battle had something to do with her skimpy clothes and questionable logic and alarming lack of filter on her mouth.

If she knew Aizawa shared similar feelings, she would have tried to assure him she didn't care that he was her teacher, and that a small part of that played a role into her liking him. But still, two people could like each other, regardless of age or status or lot in life. Mela had to believe whoever her soulmate was, had to be someone a lot like Aizawa or All Might, someone heroic and kind. Strong but also clever. She breathed in slowly. "Mmm. Thank you again." She mumbled, trying not to think about how sad, but also pretty likely, her soulmate wasn't one of her heroes. Who would be Aizawa's perfect person? She had to think she'd be pretty jealous of whoever got to cuddle up with him all the time. But for now, maybe she could just pretend she and Aizawa were soulmates and he might think about her the way she thought about him.

In the back of her head, she knew she couldn't keep him all day, he had things to do, other damsels that needed saving. Mela pushed herself up but lingered, studying his face. She wished he'd take his scarf off so she should admire the rest of him. Like his whole face and his shoulders. Mela gave him a slightly sad look. Aizawa was so guarded, both physically and mentally. Just once she wished she could break past those defenses of his, unaware she may have done so on one or more occasion. She leaned forward, pressing her forehead against his shoulder, trying to nuzzle his scarf out of her way. "Are you really sure it's a good idea to leave me alone?" She whined softly, arms circling around his own arm. Now she wasn't going to play fair. Why should she? She was sick, she didn't any better! She didn't want him to goooo. "You're supposed to keep me safe right? What if...what if I just fall and crack my head open? Or some guy comes in here and tries something?" Why couldn't that guy by Aizawa anyway?

Mela just didn't want to be lonely. The only thing to keep her company was Ruka and a bunch of terrible game shows. She decided in her fevered brain to just guilt Aizawa into staying. It's not like this would any sort of lasting, horrifying consequences when she got better. Though if future Mela could stop this Mela from doing so, she probably would. But for now, Mela thought her logic was pretty sound. "I know you're busy and you barely tolerate me but I'll be really good, I swear." She pulled back, giving him her best, most innocent smile. Mela loosened her grip around his arm, "Oh speaking of tolerating people, have you heard from All Might or Iiiiiiida-kun?" Her brain had held off long enough when it came to bringing up those two. "Do you think they'd come visit me too?" She asked him, tilting her head to the side. "Mm and I heard Midoriya-kun has some stories about All Might..." She'd love to hear those. Leave it to Mela to bring up All Might in order to entrap Aizawa to stay and forget about the grinning number one hero.

Oh, there is was again. Todoroki-kun. His heart fluttered. He liked hearing her say that. It sounded so perfect coming from her lips. He reached for his own can of soda, glad he brought something for himself. He was glad the food was good for her. He really wasn't sure what she would like but he was happy order them something if it wasn't to her liking. But thankfully she kept it down and seemed in good spirits. Shoto continued to smile and admire Ruka as he made sure her hair was a little less tangled. Perhaps he needed to go find her hair brush? He knew some women felt a bit better after combing their hair or brushing it. He didn't have long hair so he didn't know how nice it really could feel. When she decided he was handsome, he stilled for a moment. Did she really mean that?

Shoto swallowed, a lump forming in his stomach. He hoped she meant it. Sure, he had people stare and write him questionable fan letters and declarations of love but Shoto Todoroki didn't care about the nameless faceless girls at UA. What mattered to him, he was beginning to realize, was how this girl right beside him, felt about him. Shoto took the bowl, gently from her, his fingers brushing against hers as he reached and set it on the table in front of them. Now what? Should he consider moving her back to bed? That thought made him almost choke a little. Would that be okay? Before he could question how to best take care of Kurotsuki now, he felt her get in close, pressing her forehead up against the crook of his neck. Well now it was his turn to feel a wave of heat wash over him. He almost couldn't breathe. She was very close to him now.

Now having to really focus on his quirk, he made sure she was getting a cooling sensation as opposed to his own fiery quirk. He kept an arm around her, telling himself to not be too bold with his hand placements. At the moment his hand was wrapping around her lower back, his fingertips brushing around to her waist. Shoto breathed in slowly, telling himself to focus. Not to get too distracted. As he tried to steady his own thoughts, Ruka mentioned the book. It took him awhile to connect the dots. Ah yes. The book. He frowned. "Oh you don't have to." He tried to say, not really concerned with reading. Not in his present mental state. Here he was, sitting with a wonderful girl and she didn't even have any pants on. And she was cozied up against him? This was a situation he could never have been prepared for. "Kurotsuki-chan, wait!" He jumped up to try and catch her in case she wound up falling again. She was going to give him a damn heart attack.

When she came back, she had moved positioned. His eyes went wide as he fell back onto the couch, her settling on his lap, her legs around his own, trapping him there. "Uh...uhhh." He had no idea what to say. What was even happening. He slowly placed his hands on her back, was she aware of where she was sitting? Or who she was sitting on? Should he say something? No no, he didn't want to cause her anymore embarrassment. His own face was bright red as he glanced down, remembering to think nice, cool soothing thoughts. While he didn't mind where she was, he couldn't help but remember she needed pants. He quickly shifted her legs so that they were resting off to the side, hopefully making it a bit more comfortable for her while he held her close. Somehow he felt like he was taking advantage of her. He looked at her though, unable to really turn her down. Who could say 'no' to a face like that. "I'm happy, you're happy." He told her.

With one arm wrapped around her back and the other hooked in his hand, he allowed Ruka to sit on his lap sideway. He watched her cuddle with the toy, feeling rather proud to know she enjoyed it. "I feel bad admitting this, but I'm quite glad I was able to come over today." He confessed to her. What was it about those eyes of hers that made it hard to keep his protective walls in tact? "I wish you were better in an instant, Kurotsuki-chan," Yes he was already getting used to that. If only he could say 'Ruka-san' perhap someday. "but I've enjoyed being able to take care of you and make you feel a little better." With her quirk, he had to question if he'd be able to always protect her but he was hoping in some small ways, he'd be able to show her that he did care. And he had to note that he was able to be more warm around her. Maybe it was kindling of their two fiery quirks coming together, playing off of one another. "I hope you know if there's anything I can do, you need only ask." He told her. A hand was brought up, while keeping her stable, to brush some of her hair out of her flushed face. She really was sick, he wished he had known sooner or he would have come yesterday too.

Shota stiffened as he felt Mela sit up and getting closer. What was she doing? He felt himself sinking further back into the couch as she stared at his face. What was she planning? Somehow a sick Mela seemed to have a different mindset and honestly, Shota was not sure what she would do or say next. Her calling him handsome already threw him off. He was happy about it, as he rarely gets any compliments. Heck, the most he'd get is someone saying he's suspicious and get mistaken as a villain. Hey, he was allowed to have some facial hair and his hair would get out of his face...when using his quirk. All thoughts stopped however when he felt nudging on his shoulder. Shota turned to look at what Mela was doing, only for his brain to stop thinking altogether for a moment.

He stared down incredulously at her as she nuzzled against his shoulder, pushing his scarf aside..and then there was her arm wrapped tightly against his while she pressed herself against his arm and now this really isn't fair. He just listened to her crazy ideas as she was openly asking him to stay the night here...was she out of her mind!? Wait...yes, she was sick so of course, she wouldn't be in the right state of mind, but he was yet here he was falling prey to those chocolate doe-like eyes staring up at him as she promised to behave. There was a strange lump in the back of his throat, lodging any words from coming out. Think damn it! Think!

Before Shota can even reject the idea of staying the night, she just had to go and mention the two people he currently has listed as the top two hated people in his personal hate list. He blinked a few times, trying to stop the frown from appearing as he felt something snap within him once she mentioned even Midoriya. Okay no. That was never happening. So without another word, Shota scooped Mela into his arms with the blanket wrapped around her as he carried her off to her room while saying, "I think its time for you to sleep...I'll stay so just stop." He would be damned if Yagi got news of Uede being sick. Yagi could possibly find Uede's address, but at least her classmates can't unless they ask Todoroki, but he was certain Todoroki wouldn't go sharing Kurotuki's address to them. Placing her gently down on the bed, Shota took a seat at the end of her bed as he sighed. How did he end up like this...? And was that a poster of All Might? His eye finally twitched in annoyance. Tonight was going to be a long night, he could already tell.

Ruka smiled up at him as she nuzzled into him. She was happy he came too! Ruka wouldn't openly admit it, but many times she has felt lonely especially when sick, her only source of a companion being her books or Mela, but most times Ruka would shoo Mela away as she didn't want her friend to get sick too. Too bad it ended up happening like that this time around as Ruka was too sick to tell Mela to not get too close. She'll have to apologize to Mela when they are both better. She especially had bad nightmares when sick, more so than when she was perfectly healthy. Nighttime was never her favorite when sick. Hearing Todoroki's offer, Ruka's mind began to whirl.

Looking up at him with wide blue eyes, Ruka repeated his words, "you'll do anything?" Then was it possible for him to..." then can you stay with me?" Ruka blurted out as she placed her hands against his chest, her head lowered to hide her eyes as she muttered out, "I get nightmares at night..." she didn't mean to come off as whiny, but she was simply telling the truth. She really did get bad dreams at night and she was too sick to ever do an all-nighter. Having Todoroki here with her might just be the key to solving her problem! She smiled up at him with hopeful eyes and when he agreed, well Ruka was beyond ecstatic! Wrapping her arms around his neck, Ruka hugged him as she happily said, "oh thank you Todoroki-kun!" Pulling back, Ruka smiled happily as she said, "we can share my bed! It's big enough for two~!" At times Mela would come over and just stay the night though in Ruka's mind it was big, that's when it's two girls sharing a bed. She didn't quite put to thought of how it'll be with someone who's much taller than her like Todoroki.

Tugging on his hand, Ruka led him to her bedroom which was lavished in soft pastel colors with another large bookshelf in the corner with her study desk. Her entire house was decorated with modern style furniture and decorations while her personal room was a bit more girly with the soft baby blue and white shadings. She sat down on her bed and patted the spot beside her as she smiled happily up at him. Slipping under the covers, Ruka let out a small sigh before turning to face Todoroki. She smiled softly over at him as she poked his cheek while saying, "thank you...and goodnight." Leaning up she nuzzled her nose against his cheek, refraining from planting a kiss as she recalled last second that she was sick. She has a bad habit of doing so whenever Mela was falling asleep, giving her friend a peck on the cheek. Snuggling right into Todoroki's side, Ruka slowly fell asleep with a smile on her face. Did she mention she is a cuddler when she's asleep? Ruka ended up wrapping an arm around Todoroki's waist while hooking her leg with one of his to make sure he can't leave. Normal Ruka would be trying to move to another country by now.

Oh yes, Mela was very tempted to call the school and hunt down All Might. He'd be happy to keep a lady company when she was battling for her very own life. And she wouldn't mind curling up in those strong arms of his either. Thankfully Aizawa was easy enough to manipulate into doing what she wanted. She could see the gears turning in his head, was that steam coming out of his ears? Mela's eyes twinkled, pleased to know even in her current state, she could make a plan and see it come to life. She quickly hooked her arms around Aizawa's neck when he suddenly picked her up, clearly done having this conversation. "Stop what?" She giggled mischievously. "Talking?"

Well there was one way he could make sure her mouth was otherwise busy. It took her awhile to realize just where he was taking her. To bed? And here and they hadn't even had their first date yet but Mela was happy to skip a few expected steps if he was that impatient. Hehe. Mela laid back as she let out a dreamy sigh, looking up at Aizawa who was keen on keeping his distance. She pushed herself up and checked her phone. No messages from Ruka? Maybe she was in bed already. She looked back to Aizawa, knowing he didn't want to be here, taking care of her. Somehow she'd pay him back for his time. "Night Aizawa-~" She yawned as she pulled the covers over herself. Like Ruka, she had no qualms sharing the bed with someone but she had a feeling Aizawa would probably sneak off or at least crash on the couch once she fell asleep.

But for now she was glad to find comfort in him watching her. She felt rather safe, like she had her own dark winged, guardian angel watching over her. If only she knew the truth. Mela reached over and turned off the light. Even though she knew he wouldn't, because he was trying to be a good guy, annoyingly enough, she couldn't help but speak up. "You can sleep next to me, I really don't mind." She said quietly, almost in a mouse's whisper. "Or I guess on the floor...or the couch. Or or or I could take the couch..." She just didn't want him to leave. Before she could hear what he had to say, or not say, on the matter, she already felt herself falling asleep, her mind catching up with her body. Mela curled up, holding a pillow to her chest, trying to find some relief thanks to the AC that was kicking on.

Come morning, Mela was still rather out of it. She felt an arm around her but didn't think much of it at the time. She pushed herself up and looked around. Her head was still killing her and she felt rather hot. She had gotten some sleep but it was clear she was still sick and perhaps the worst had yet to come. She tried to remember the events of yesterday. She didn't go to school...no, she stayed home. She rubbed her head as she grabbed the glass of water by her bed and took a drink before looking over at who was next to her. She almost spit out her water all over...Aizawa-sensei! Ohhhh crap. She covered her mouth, feeling her face suddenly catch on fire. She laid back down. What did she do? DId they...do anything? If they did and she didn't even remember it...she'd be devastated. She did have her pajamas still on.

Mela laid there, trying to calm down. So Aizawa had visited her? Obviously. Unless she could kidnap a pro hero when she was sick? Mela didn't think she was capable of that. She was shivered as she tried to recount the events that could have led up to him staying in bed with her. She remembered him feeding her miso soup and then her being picked up and taken...somewhere. She made a small noise. Oh god, what she did put this poor guy through? Mela cringed so hard she gave herself a splitting headache. Maybe she could cook for him? Maybe she should just flee the country? She rolled onto her side, staring at him. He looked so peaceful and not at all angry as usual. Mela decided to do the only thing in her situation. She closed her eyes and scooted closer, pretending to be asleep, maybe then he would just leave without her causing him further discomfort. Hopefully her face didn't show how much her heart was crumbling inside of her. Aizawa probably didn't want to see her ever again after whatever she did and said.

No...must fight the urge to vomit right now.

Breathe, Mela.

When Ruka had to double check if he did anything, he hesitated.

Where was she going with this?

Shoto began to reconsider his word choice before Ruka asked him to stay. What?! No! He couldn't. It would be very bad for him to stay. He looked around nervously. Where was the exit again? He had to go. He didn't trust himself with her. But maybe if he stayed on the couch, he could at least look after her without feeling bad about abandoning her? Yes. He was a hero and a gentleman. He was sure his self-help book would frown at someone staying the night when they weren't exactly romantically involved. He began to grumble incoherently, his cool melting as her hands were placed on his chest. He felt his heart jump slightly as he rubbed his neck. "Um sure...sure." He found himself replying against his better judgement. He told himself this wouldn't be so bad, that he would tuck her in and go back to the couch.

When she threw her arms around him to hug him in thanks, he couldn't help but freeze. This girl was testing his composure. Shoto closed his eyes for a moment, her scent wrapping around him. He relaxed slightly. She was a very appreciative girl at least. He let out a small surprised noise when she brought up her bed. "W-wait, I can't share a bed with you!" Shoto exclaimed. Even without the aid of a book, he knew that was a line that he couldn't cross. Well, that he shouldn't cross. He found himself being hauled up to his feet and taken off somewhere. He found himself being pulled away, or maybe he was subconsciously not putting up a fight. Hm. Shoto looked around her room, it was colorful. He looked to her as he slipped his blazer off and loosened his tie.

Somehow this felt very...very intimate. He didn't want to just rush through this moment. He wasn't sure if he'd ever see her so happy and carefree, much less in her room, reckoning him to join her. Shoto blushed once again as he set his blazer and tie down against the back of a desk chair and also removed his socks before he sat beside the girl. He didn't even notice he was holding his breath until he looked to her getting under the covers. Shoto looked away for a moment before he got into bed with her and found himself trying to keep his thought fairly pure and untinted. He was just sleeping with a friend. No, well, yes. But he did want to be more. But now wasn't the time nor the place for him to try anything. No. He would have to wait.

Shoto sighed as Ruka curled up and nuzzled against him. He moved an arm around her. Focus on anything but the lovely woman beside you, Shoto. He thought back to class today and what they learned in math class. He clenched his jaw. Think of something really unattractive. He thought of Bakugo. Yikes. That would do the trick for Todoroki. He looked to Ruka and smiled, leaning down the kiss her forehead, the same thing someone else had done 24 hours ago and was now in the same miserable boat as Kurotsuki. He lightly rubbed her side comfortingly as her felt her legs brush against his own clothed ones. He wasn't exactly comfortable in his collared shirt and slacks but he didn't see himself taking anything else off. He nodded, "Goodnight...Ruka-san." He said quietly, hoping she didn't hear him or perhaps would forget come morning. He leaned back as he fell asleep soon after she did.

After a few hours, Shoto awoke to find himself not in his room, but somewhere else entirely. He breathed in. Strawberries? He looked down and saw Ruka still attached to him. He swallowed and fought through some serious urges. She looked so peaceful. He blinked a few times, remembering that she was sick and he was in bed with her. Perhaps that wasn't the wisest of choices? Still, he fund her to be very comfortable and he wasn't sure if he should go, get something for her to eat, or stay. He decided he needed to feed her something. He had school to go to and he may have to just go in his clothes from yesterday. He quietly got out of bed, making sure to tuck her back in, before he went to make some soft scrambled eggs and toast for her. He headed back to her room and sat on the edge of her bed, still content to just watch her sleep a little while longer. Shoto leaned over and rubbed her side with his free hand, not sure how she'd react to seeing him, a few buttons of his shirt undone, hair a bit messy...in her room. "Kurotsuki...chan?" He said. It felt wrong to just sneak off like she was some one night stand but would she really want to face him?

AiAi AiAi

He was in trouble. Shota stared at the poster of All Might with an annoyed look crossing his face. Why did she have a poster of this guy? He noticed her room to be fairly large in size as well and with posters littered about the walls. He looked at anywhere but at Mela as he wasn't sure how he'd feel seeing her all cozied up in her own bed. There were things a man can do and some he shouldn't...and he was currently on a very thin line bordering it. Shota resumed looking about her room when he heard her voice. Instinctively, Shota glanced over to see what she wanted this time only to regret it. With her hair puffed out as she lay on the pillow, Shota found her to be looking adorable and no..he does not like using that word often. He lifted a brow when she called him without the usage of sensei. Oh? Does that mean she isn't looking at him as her sensei? Somehow that thought was reassuring but no! He was still her sensei and he was supposed to be the more mature one here.

Letting out a sigh, Shota half-heartedly listened to Mela ramble on about him either sleeping on the couch or with her or wait what? Shota felt his eye twitch wondering if it was Iida or All Might, would she still say the same things to them? Somehow that thought alone was more than enough to make Shota turn to face Mela. He blinked a few times as he noted that she fell asleep. He let out a sigh, that was quick. Though honestly, he should be grateful as that meant he won't be tempted...as much. Noticing her chest rising and falling as she slept, Shota pulled the covers over her before giving in and laying down beside her. Feeling her shift around, Shota let out a sigh as he wrapped an arm around her, afraid that she'll somehow topple over the bed and onto the ground...somehow he could see that as a possibility.

Staring down at her sleeping face, many ideas came to mind, many which he really shouldn't be thinking of regarding a student of his..and yet here he was. His eyes were drooping slightly as he was rather tired, but no...he shouldn't. Lifting his hand, he settled on combing her hair once again as he studied her sleeping face. She was surprisingly not as innocent as she appears as her words always had some sort of hidden meaning in them, yet she was also so innocently cheerful. She was a mixture of many things, things that Shota found to be amusing and of interest to him. He already knew he has fallen too deep to get out. Letting out a softer sigh, Shota leaned down and kissed the top of her head, murmuring softly into her hair, "good night Mela..." with that he tried to sleep...but he knew he really shouldn't.

For most of the night, Shota remained awake as he fought with himself. At times like this self-control was needed. Very much so. Though come the morning, Shota had fallen into a light sleep, his bloodshot eyes not able to stay open for much longer. Despite keeping his eyes closed, Shota was in a state of light sleep and so when he felt shuffling beside him well he knew Mela woke up. He didn't dare open his eyes in fear of seeing Mela's reaction, he was surely going to get yelled at or something if he 'wakes up' right now. Once the noise settled, Shota felt her warm body closer to his side once more. Slowly opening a single eye, he glanced down to see Mela sleeping once more. He lifted a brow, was she really sleeping or did she just not want to face him? Holding back from making a sound, Shota stared at her sleeping face for a bit longer before silently getting out of the bed. Standing up, Shota stretched before walking to the kitchen, making her a quick breakfast of some miso soup with rice and some fish. Once finished, he covered the food, leaving a note for her to just take the damn medicine and eat before he walked back into the room. He looked over at Mela, wanting to wake her up, but he knew it'll only put them in an awkward situation. Sighing, Shota leaned down, reaching a hand he felt her forehead before placing a feather-light kiss on her forehead as he mumbled out, "get better." With that Shota left for work.

Ruffling his already messy hair, Shota let out a long sigh. A drink sounded really nice right about now..but no he had work to go to. He then realized that he left Mi alone yesterday...hopefully the cat won't be mad at him. He can already imagine the reaction of Mi thanks to a certain brunette. A small smirk came onto his lips as he thought of yesterday and this morning...maybe it wasn't a bad idea to have visited her. At least now he was more at ease plus this was one thing he can hold over her he supposed. As he arrived at work, Shota went through with the usual routine and before he realized, it was already the end of school. As he was getting ready to leave to go and buy Mi some fish as a form of a peace offering, Shota coughed lightly into his hand. Hm. Strange. Shrugging it off as nothing, the raven head left as he wondered what fish he should buy Mi. His mind then wandered to Mela, hoping she was feeling better.

Something was off...something was strange. As Yagi worked in the courtyard as the janitor of U.A, he couldn't help but feel that something was very off. But what was amiss? As he was watering some plants, he heard an awfully familiar voice. Turning, he noted it to be Midoriya Shounen along with a few other students. The one with glasses spoke up in a dramatic tone, "ah, it is truly not fair that Sensei denied us the right to go and visit a friend who is sick!" Tenya was blaming himself for Uede-kun's absence. Ochako let out a light laugh as she said, "stop worrying so much Iida-kun. It can't be helped, Aizawa-sensei said that Uede-san is too sick for anyone to approach her. He was trying to protect her and the rest of us you know." Tenya looked unconvinced as his shoulders drooped. Yagi stayed silent as he kept his back to them while watering the plants nearby. Did he just hear things correctly!? Was Uede Shoujo ill!? But Aizawa-kun would surely tell him...right? An image of Aizawa-kun glaring at him while saying the words no came clearly into a picture. Yagi shook his head, yeah that was quite possible alright.

Yagi paced the courtyard as his brows were furrowed in concern. The image of Uede Shoujo with that cheerful smile came into mind. Was she really that ill that no one should go and see her? An image of Uede Shoujo in pain came to mind and Yagi shook his head. No! That can't be it! But still...he frowned as he stopped pacing and instead stared down at his hands. What can he do to help? Aizawa-kun would never tell him Uede Shoujo's address no less tell him about her being sick, to begin with. Hmm...what can he do? As Yagi was lost in thought, a voice spoke up to him from behind, "is something troubling you Toshinori?" Yagi nearly jumped in his skin before he turned around to face the Principal. He looked warily at the white mouse. The last time he spoke to Nezu, things didn't end well for him.

"Oh um nothing sir!" Yagi quickly interjected while waving his hands in front of him. Nezu looked up at All Might with a secretive smile as he spoke up, "perfect! Then can you help me with one thing?" Yagi leaned in close, wondering how he can help the Principal, suddenly he was given a small folder as Nezu explained, "there's the address written inside on a piece of paper. Well, I'm sure you can handle the rest, take it easy for one day Toshinori!" Nezu waved as he walked off, the explanation of what he wanted All Might to do being well vague. Very vague. Confused yet curious, Yagi opened the folder to see a few stacks of paper inside and then an address. He blinked. Well...guess he can go and deliver it? He was sure that was what Principal Nezu wanted him to do.

As Yagi changed into something more casual after work, he left for the place. Where? Well, he didn't know either, guess there was only one way to find out. As he arrived at the said location, Yagi was even more confused as he stared up at the apartment complex. Did he get the right address...? Going up the stairs, Yagi stopped in front of the room number that was written on the paper. Did Nezu want him to deliver these papers? Unsure, Yagi knocked on the door, completely missing the name tag beside the door. His mind has been a bit occupied ever since he heard that Uede Shoujo is sick. He hoped it was nothing too serious. Though he did notice a metal pot by the doorway. Hm? Was this also part of what he had to deliver?

It was both warm and cool. A nice combination for Ruka as she felt her burning body cool down little by little. Hmm, why did her pillow feel so warm and firm? Not really putting much thought into it, Ruka leaned further into her pillows, enjoying the warmth. How long has it been since she last felt this secure and warm? On top of that she didn't wake up with a nightmare, no, she had actually slept throughout the night without tossing about. Well, that was quite a feat she must say herself. Snuggling her face further, Ruka soon lost all train of thoughts as she fell back into a dreamless sleep. How long has it been since she fell asleep...? Or rather, what happened? Feeling something or rather someone gently rub her side, Ruka let out a small moan as she cracked a single bleary blue orb open.

Urgh...what time was it? Did she just sleep through the day yesterday...? Ruka wasn't really sure what was going on. Slowly sitting up, she turned and faced the direction she felt the nudge coming from only to blink a few times. Hm? Todoroki...? Positive that she was still dreaming, Ruka reached a hand out and lightly combed his messy hair down before suddenly wrapping her arms around his waist and nuzzling into the crook of his neck. "Mmm...a few more minutes..." Ruka murmured out softly as she inhaled his scent. Hm...he was really nice and warm and he smelled nice...what a nice dream...wait. Ruka paused in her nuzzling as things felt a bit too real for her. Plus with a pounding headache that she was currently having...Ruka was certain this was not a dream. But then that meant...Todoroki was here besides her...and that yesterday actually happened. Which also meant...many images went flying through her mind, some she was certain was just a figment of her imagination before Ruka slowly unwrapped her arms from him and looked into his eyes.

Her eyes were wide as her mouth opened then closed like a gaping fish out of the water. Did she just do what she thinks she just did!? "T-Todoroki-kun!?" Ruka squeaked out in surprise but she seemed even more surprised at her own words. She covered her mouth as she looked wide-eyed up at him while her entire face from her neck up became completely red. Her mind was whirling in a mile a minute as she tried to recall what happened. Yes, he did come by yesterday to see her...she let him in and then...and then she ate some food, talked about the book with him and then...oh goodness what did she do and say yesterday!?

Though a few things were quite clear to her. One, she called him with a -kun and he seemed totally okay with it and two she cuddled up to him while touching his hair. Oh gosh. Head hanging, Ruka murmured out, "I'm so sorry!" Looking up at him, Ruka began to ramble as she felt like she just threw a sudden curve ball at him out of nowhere. "I-I must have caused you so much trouble and and I'm sorry!" Ruka looked off to the side, her cheeks flushing as she glanced over at him, noting him to look rather tired with his shirt undone slightly. Taking in a breath, Ruka faced him once more though she averted her gaze, she reached a hand out and tugged at the cuff of his sleeve, "but...thank you for coming..." Ruka knew one thing that she said to him last night. With a small smile, she told him, "I didn't have any nightmares..hehe."

After her sudden rambling and panicked moment, Ruka was able to somewhat compose herself as she stood up, offering to cook something for him when he told her that was already taken care of. What? Ruka brushed her hair quickly, noting her hair to not have as many tangles as she thought she would before following him out to the dining area. To her surprise, there was already some food laid out ready for her. Ruka blinked a few times as she turned and thanked him quite happily so. As she ate, Ruka rubbed the back of her head as she openly admitted, "sorry if my room was a mess...you know this would be the first time that a boy has ever visited my place." She smiled slightly before realizing how that sounded.

"A-ah um I-I...oh right!" Ruka stood up, ignoring the sudden wave of dizziness despite her eyes swirling slightly as she quickly shook her head while walking over to the bookshelf, looking for the book. Strange...it should be right here...from the corner of her eye, she spotted a book on the couch. Oh? Grabbing the book, Ruka handed it to Shoto as she said, "um it's a bit late...but here is the book that you asked for." Ruka smiled up at him, hoping he wasn't feeling as awkward or embarrassed as she was. After seeing him out once the two were done with breakfast, Ruka closed the door on him after waving good bye, "thank you for coming by, I hope to see you soon Todoroki-kun."

As soon as she closed the door, Ruka sank to the floor, hiding her face into her hands. Oh what the hell did she do!? She was certain she's said and done some things that she was going to regret. Her cheeks were flushed in embarrassment as she recalled this morning and how she just clung to him! If she did that while half asleep, Ruka wasn't sure what she did to him when she was clearly not in the right state of mind yesterday! Sure, she still felt awful today, but a bit better than yesterday was for sure. As her mind was whirling with all the possible ideas, her eyes began to swirl while her cheeks were red.

Bits of her black flames appeared on Ruka's body, slowly burning her own clothes and her skin as she mumbled incoherently to herself. Minutes later Ruka was in the shower, cooling her now burning body down before she stumbled out. Changing into another large shirt, this time a black sweater, Ruka dried her hair as best as she could, though with how hot her body currently was...it was slowly drying her hair on its own. How could she face Todoroki now!? It was obvious Ruka did something to him and honestly, she did not want to know, but her stupid brain was giving her teasing bits of images in her mind. Her already flaming head was now burning even more so with another fever. Falling into bed, Ruka covered her eyes as she mumbled out, "what have I done..."

Ruka fell into a dreamless slumber as her body ached with a fever, her breathing was shallow as it seemed like she just did it again. Freaking out did her no good as she accidentally combusted and now she was down once again. This was not helping anything! Ruka groaned slightly as she wished she could have Todoroki hold her once again and cool her off. Wait no! Bad Ruka! She shouldn't be thinking like that and it wasn't as if...suddenly sitting up, Ruka ignored her dizzy head as she mumbled out in shock, "I did ask him to...no way..." First her costume and now her actions! Surely Todoroki has a bad image of her!? What if he thinks badly of her? Or worst of all..what if he ignores her and hates her!? Sure she faced him just fine this morning, but that was without the knowledge of what she's done to him! Oh no...how would he ever forgive her? Ruka slipped down into the bed, covering her face with a pillow which only became covered by dark flames as Ruka began to mumble incoherent words.

How long has it been since she fell asleep or rather passed out? Ruka lifted the charred pillow off of her face, nose scrunching up as she threw the burnt pillow away. Sitting up, she placed a hand on her forehead, groaning softly at a splitting headache. What time was it? Looking over at the clock, Ruka noted it to be well in the afternoon. Ah, she missed school once again. Grabbing hold of her phone, Ruka texted Mela to check in on her friend and see if she needed more miso. Speaking of which, Ruka should probably cook some more in case. Standing up slowly, Ruka wobbled her way to the kitchen and began to cook the miso. Once done, Ruka took the pot and walked out of her room to Mela's door. Feeling suddenly nauseous, Ruka placed the pot by her door before rushing back to her room. After a nice visit to the bathroom, Ruka fell back into bed falling back asleep. Ah, she forgot to text Mela that she left some miso soup at her door...ah well hopefully Mela will notice.

Much to the relief of her nerves, she wasn't forced to address the absurd, awkward situation they had on their hands. Mela didn't know exactly what had transpired yesterday but she was sure she had said and done some very bad things. She stayed still as the man beside her got up. Mela would totally understand if he just left and never came back. In fact, that may be the best course of action he could take. She let out a sigh, scooting over to where he had just been laying, much like an animal seeking out some sort of better warm spot. She fidgeted slightly, though she could faintly hear something happening in the kitchen. Grilling fish and cooking rice? She was tempted to sink further under the covers. Her gut told her to just hide and keep taking the more cowardly role of just pretending she wasn't aware and perhaps wasn't even alive.

She heard footsteps retreating back to her room so she calmed herself as Aizawa touched her forehead. Her brain was on fire though she had to blame Aizawa for part of that as he brushed his lips against her forehead. Now she knew she was seeing and feeling things. With one final ruffle of her hair, he left. She stayed where she was for a while, almost worried to open her eyes as he might be perched somewhere just to taunt her. Eventually her stomach roused her out of bed. She headed back into the kitchen and saw some food and a scribbled note. Smiling, she sat down to eat, doing her best to pretend she hadn't said and done terrible things. Deep down, she was sure she had to have confessed some horrible deep dark secrets to Aizawa-sensei.

Maybe she told him about her various sexual fantasists? She paled as she fought the urge to vomit. Mela held onto the table and smacked her head against it several times. "Stupid stupid stupid girl." She scolded herself, starting to cry. This was just horrible. Her mind was assuming the worst, knowing when she drank or in this case, felt deathly sick, she could say some very strange things. Taking a deep breath, Mela forced herself to finish her breakfast as she curled up on the couch, having nothing to do except think about the stupidity of her actions. Surely she had thrown herself at Aizawa? How could she look at him again? This was probably even more catastrophic than when All Might saved her before she started at UA.

Mela took some of the medicine Aizawa had brought over and saw some homework and notes set aside for her. No thanks. She was in no mood to ever try reading or writing. Mela went off to go take a long hot bath. Maybe if she was lucky she'd accidentally drown and not have to deal with AIzawa and whatever blackmail he had to have on her now. Once out of the bath, Mela pulled on a pair of grey sweatpants and a dark blue tee shirt. After making a nest of pillows and blankets, Mela settled on the couch, watching a few romantic drama shows on tv, though she wasn't really focused on whatever was happening on the tv she was staring at. Zoning in and out, she tried to imagine a situation in which she wasn't making those she admired, doing silly things for her. A knock on the door snapped her out of her daze.

Was it Aizawa again? Noo that would be impossible, she feared. Or perhaps a classmate? Could it be Iida or Uraraka or perhaps even Midoriya? She was hoping whoever it was, could put her out of her misery, both physically and mentally. For a brief moment, she thought it could be All Might but no...he wouldn't want to visit her, it would probably attract a lot of attention if he was seen visiting someone. Inching toward the door she sighed, trying to gather her courage as she opened the door. "Ah." It wasn't someone she was expecting at all. It was Yagi-san, she hadn't run into him directly in a few days but she had seen him around the school. Was he worried about her? Doubtful. But she was happy to see him, a second visitor was quite flattering. Perhaps Aizawa had sent him her way?

"Yagi-san," She felt her foot hit something. She glanced down and bent down to pick up the pot. The girl knew it was Ruka's. At least it meant Ruka was okay and thinking of her. Mela smiled and headed back inside, leaving the front door open for her latest guest to let himself in. "this is a surprise." She said weakly, beginning to wonder what she might to do him. Perhaps it was in his best interest and hers, if he didn't stick around long. Although she was very happy to see a bit of a friendlier face in Yagi. And it was Yagi, he was merely an unmarried janitor who may or may not be able to fly. "Please, come in." She said, noticing he had some papers in hand. More homework? Seriously? Couldn't UA take pity on her and just stop with all the work for once?

Setting the pot on the stove, she turned it on so it could simmer and warm up slowly, doubting she should be offering Yagi any. Though with Aizawa having stayed over and gotten quite close to her, she worried if he might be sick now because of her. But then again, Ruka was at the root of all this mess. But Mela still loved that girl. Shuffling over to the couch, she pushed some of the pink pillows, in various shades, out of the way so he could sit down. "I see you brought me more homework." She noted, sitting down on the couch, hoping he'd join her. Though she was also hoping she'd be able to behave this time. "I know I should thank you but..." She trailed off, ah the room was spinning again. Maybe she needed to take another dose of medicine? She leaned against the couch. "O-oh! I should offer you something." She suddenly jumped to her feet. Where were her manners? If they were like her dignity, they were long gone.

Even though the boy should have been used to her grabbing him and pulling him close. Each time, his heart couldn't help but jump as he tried to figure out how to best react. If he was being honest, with at least himself, he would have liked to keep her close to him. But he was aware she may not remember any of this and he would hate for her to feel all the more confused in a trying situation. Shoto wasn't going to take advantage of her in this state but being so close was giving the young man many ideas. He was hoping that someday he'd be able to enjoy her comfort in such a personal setting again. Maybe with her more aware of him and her surroundings. Shoto was glad to see she was awake. He had to get going but he had to make sure her condition hadn't worsened during the night. She looked about the same.

But if she was worse off, he would take her to the doctor. He patted her back lightly, telling himself not to think too much about being back in bed with her, maybe in more comfortable clothes. For a moment he thought of her in her costume but that only made things a bit harder for the male. He tried to keep a calm face but as her arms slowly released him, he could tell this was all coming back to her. No, she wasn't dreaming or hallucinating. He was very real. And still very worried about her. "Yes...good morning, Kurotsuki-chan." He said carefully, trying not to imagine what her mind must be thinking at the moment.

Shoto found her reaction rather cute, even though she looked rather embarrassed, which she didn't need to be. She was human. Humans got sick and sick people tended to do...silly things. In a way, Shoto was glad he got to see such a carefree side of her. "Please don't apologize." He tried to tell her, knowing this had to be difficult for her. "You caused me zero trouble." He said smoothly. Though she did cause him to have several ideas regarding her and him...with slightly different circumstances. He found himself rather glad no one else had tried to tag along with him, like Kaminari for that matter. He didn't feel like that boy would have been able to show as much restraint and respect. Shoto placed a hand on the top of her head. "I'm very glad to hear you slept so soundly." He told her.

He headed out with her so she could eat. Shoto wasn't too hungry at the moment and would grab something at school. For now, his priority was making sure Ruka had something to eat and was able to be left on her own. Though he didn't think he'd be able to decline yet another plea for him to stay. "You're apologizing for nothing, really." He tried to assure her. He really didn't think it was so much of a mess, not to mention she was sick. He thought she was worrying over nothing and in doing so, she might make herself even more unwell. It had been a visit of firsts for him as well. He had never ventured into a girl's house without having some adult present. And he even shared a bed. He had also been cuddled far more than he ever had been before. But with it being Ruka, he had no complaints.

Once she was fed and he had the book, he left, placing a hand on the side of her face, hoping to give her one last burst of cool ice before he left. "Get some rest, Kurotsuki-chan, I left my number by the stack of homework so be sure to call me if you need me to come by again." He said before he left, hurrying to class. He had no time to change but he hoped his clothes didn't appear to unkempt. He arrived too late to grab something for himself to eat. After the lunch bell sounded, he was eager to get something in his own stomach. Before he could run off to the cafeteria, Mineta stopped him sinking to his knees. "I have to see Kurotsuki-san! Please! She's my partner, I have to see her!" He begged. Shoto growled lowly. "Fine. But she would love you to bring her some natto." He said before he wrote done her address. Of course he was giving the kid a fake, hoping to send him on a wild goose chase and show him that pervs didn't go very far in life. He would never let anyone know where Ruka lived, thinking back to how affectionate she had been with him. No, no one else needed to see her like that.

When class ended for the day, Denki Kaminari got up, having been giving Shoto looks all day. Why did he get to see Ruka? It baffled the blond. He headed off to grab a few items from his dorm before he went off to see Present Mic, surely he would have some pity for the sulking blond who was just trying to make sure Shoto hadn't done anything to Ruka. Of course, Denki had no idea he had even stayed the night. Denki would find that utterly unacceptable. And unfair. After enough begging and sweet talk, Denki was given the address to Ruka Kurotsuki. He headed to the bus and down into the city, hoping she was feeling a little better after a day of rest. The boy was tempted to text her to let her know she was coming but she would probably tell him not to bother. But he wanted to bother. Er, he wanted to help.

Arriving at her complex, he ran up the stairs, not seeing anyone else around. Denki had two comics for her, one was a continuation of a comic he had already given her. He also had an anime movie about fighting robots in space. Girls totally like that stuff. He ran a hand through his hair, trying his best to seem presentable and that he hadn't made such a rush to get to her house. He knocked a few times and stepped back. It felt like he hadn't seen in ages! After Eijiro-baka had dragged him off, he hadn't seen her since Saturday. Saturday...as yes her outfit then was very nice. He laughed to himself, for a moment about to short circuit. But he controlled himself and waited. When the door opened, he waved and gave her a large smile, "Kurotsuki-san!" He greeted her. "I hope it's okay I come by." He said. "How are you feeling?" He hoped a little better.

Yagi was contemplating whether or not the metal pot was also something he had to deliver. But what was in it? What if it was a trap?! Before Yagi can even bend down to take a look at the contents of the said metal pot, the door opened up...revealing...Uede Shoujo!? Yagi stared at her completely surprised, probably more surprised than she looked herself. Wait WHAT!? What is going on!? Yagi was certain Principal Nezu said there was a job for him to do...but that was to visit the sick Uede Shoujo? He then recalled the last words that Nezu said...take it easy for a day. Was that having something to do with him doing so much janitorial work at U.A that Nezu actually felt bad and thus allowed Yagi to take a day off? An image of Nezu laughing manically while drinking tea came to mind...no no, that wasn't possible.

Snapping out of his inner musings and confusion, Yagi stood up straighter as he greeted Uede Shoujo, "ah U-er Mela-chan! H-how are you?" Yagi asked her before following her inside the apartment. What was he doing!? He shouldn't be entering the room of a young lady! This is just unacceptable! Yet Yagi's body moved on its own while his mind was yelling at him. He took a quick look around, noting her place to be very neat and spacious. He watched her move to the kitchen to heat the pot up, oh so it was food? He recalled something about Kurotsuki Shoujo living nearby and so he assumed the pinkette made something for Mela? He then remembered the conversation they had at the ramen restaurant. Oh yes, miso soup. Yagi couldn't help but smile, finding their friendship to be very sweet.

He shuffled to the couch where he rigidly sat down, unsure of what to say or do. Startled, Yagi glanced down at the folder he was holding rather tightly before handing it over to Mela, "a-ah yes...well I'm not sure if it is homework, I was uh just told to bring these here." Yagi cracked a smile in hopes of not frightening her with his ghastly appearance. Since he changed from his janitor outfit, Yagi was wearing more casual clothes than usual. He was wearing some loose jeans, or well almost any pants were loose on him in his current body, with a normal t-shirt, except it had PLUS ULTRA written in large bold letters.

Looking over at Mela, Yagi noted her to have slightly flushed cheeks, Aizawa-kun did say she was rather sick. Frowning, he was about to ask her how she was feeling when she suddenly stood up and walked off to the kitchen. Ahhh what is she doing!? Worried, Yagi stood up and followed her as he replied, "a-ah it's quite alright Ue-I mean Mela-chan!" He wasn't sure how to stop her, but what if she fell or something!? He resembled that of a mother hen as he chased after the little chickling by the name of Mela.

Ruka opened her eyes slowly as she heard a sound. Hm? Was somebody here...? Sitting up in her bed, Ruka looked around and noticed a stack of papers on her desk and a note. She blinked a few times as she recalled this morning's incident and well yesterday's as well. Her face paled as she inched over to the desk to take a peek at the note. There indeed was some numbers scribbled on it in neat writing...it has to be Todoroki's. Ruka could feel her cheeks flush, but she dare not throw the number away and instead, she placed it in her special notebook, intending on texting him later to apologize and thank him. Face growing hotter by the second, Ruka was about ready to crawl back into bed where the scent of Todoroki remained..much to her embarrassment and comfort when Ruka clearly heard the knocking of the door.

Standing up in alert, despite her feverish state, Ruka slowly stumbled her way through the apartment before arriving at the door. She took in a deep breath, wondering who it could be. Mela had a spare so that couldn't be it, plus she was certain Mela was feeling as bad as she was or even worse. What if it was Todoroki again!? Ruka's mind was beginning to spin and she quickly opened the door, anticipating the worst when she heard a familiar voice, but not of Todoroki's. Huh? Blinking, Ruka slowly looked up to see it was Kaminari. "K-Kaminari-san!?" Ruka sputtered out in surprise. Oh no...this wasn't good, was it? She was certain she might do something to Kaminari as well, if she did something to the cool Todoroki, then what else is she capable of!? Ruka definitely did not need to nor want to find out.

Cheeks flushed, Ruka moved to the side to let him in as she murmured out, "ah, this is quite a pleasant surprise...um please come on in." Ruka knew her manners and let the boy in despite the warning lights ringing in her head. It wasn't a warning to her, no she was certain Denki was just as polite and kind as Shoto, but it was more like a warning for the young blonde. She did not want to scare him off or anything of the like. Keeping a smile on her lips, Ruka walked to her kitchen, ignoring how everything seemed to be swaying she asked him, "ah would you like anything to drink?" Ruka can feel her head was hot and her body was beginning to feel like mush. Was her fever acting up again? Though thankfully she didn't combust on him like she had earlier.

Grabbing two soft drinks from her fridge, Ruka turned around and headed over to where he was in the living room though halfway there, Ruka could feel the room spin a bit too much as she stumbled slightly. Shaking her head, Ruka gave him a smile before handing him the drink. Sitting down on the couch, Ruka asked him, "ah so what brings you over to this neighborhood?" Ruka asked him lightly though on the inside she was slowly slipping away. NO! She cannot repeat her mistakes like yesterday! She didn't need to have two people hate her! Ruka wouldn't know what to say or do if both Shoto and Denki began to ignore her. Though as she listened to Kaminari speak, Ruka could feel her eyes slowly closing as she slumped against him, her breaths shallow as her fever began to rise once again. Dang it...she really shouldn't have combusted earlier. Smart Ruka, smart.

It was still a mystery as to who send Yagi. It had to be Aizawa-sensei. It just had to be! That cranky bastard did care. But maybe he didn't return because she had scared him away? She didn't want to imagine what she could have said and done to make him spend the night with her. If only she had been in a better state of mind...she wouldn't have let him out of her sight. Whatever the reason or whoever she needed to thank, she was happy to chat with Yagi for a bit, finding him to be a wonderful ray of sunshine on an otherwise rather foggy day in her mind. Mela had to note he was a bit more jittery than usual but she couldn't imagine why. 'She decided she'd have to be much better than she was yesterday. She couldn't keep trying to seduce the people who visited her or no one would ever want to check on her.

Making her way into the kitchen, she decided to focus on being a wonderful host for her new guest. She would have to give him something to drink. It was quite warm out after all. Or so the news told her. At the moment, she was always surrounded by unpleasant warmth. She would have loved to have Todoroki share some of his ice with her. Once in the kitchen, which to her took a long trek, she turned and saw someone had been following her. She rubbed her neck. Boy, she felt popular all of a sudden haha. "It's so sweet that you're worried. I'm really fine though." She laughed. Why was she in the kitchen again? She pulled some bottles of water from the fridge and handed one to Yagi.

Starting to make her way back to the couch, she began to wonder how it moved so far away. Were there ghosts in her house playing pranks? Mela let out a pained moan, why was life so cruel? She wobbled down to her knees, trying to open the water bottle but finding it incredibly difficult to so. She hung her head in shame. Defeated by a plastic water bottle. She held it out to Yagi. "I can't open this." She whined dramatically. The girl was barely worried about school at the moment, or even what the others were up to. In her head, it felt like she had been this miserable for weeks. Mela looked to Yagi, a bit jealous of his health. How nice it must be to walk without falling over. "I can't even walk and my quirk is balance." She began to cry. "I'm soo useless!" Mela didn't even want to think about this morning and how thoughtful Aizawa had been. She should have cooked for him but instead she was just some kind of terrible burden upon those around her. "I'm sorry Yagi-san."

When she moved aside to let him in, he kicked off his shoes and looked around. Wow, she had to be pretty well off to have such a roomy apartment. He could fit at least two or three dorm rooms in the first area alone. Denki looked to Ruka, hoping she was happy to have a visitor. He had to imagine after Todoroki had left yesterday afternoon, she had to be feeling a bit neglected. But now Denki was here to make her feel all better. "Yeah?" He smiled to her when she said him being there was a good surprise. "Awesome!" He was glad to know he was welcomed. "I'm okay, don't worry." He said. A drink would be nice but he didn't want to trouble her. But she still headed into the kitchen anyway. He rubbed his neck, feeling a bit bad for how unwell she was. He followed her over to the couch, keeping a close eye on her. She really didn't look good but he had enough common sense to not blurt out that particular observation.

His mother taught him to watch what he said to women. Though he often spoke without thinking, Denki was being extra careful because he knew she had to be feeling a bit self-conscious. He took the drink, "Thank you." He said. If anything, he felt like he was the one who should be doing things for her. "Well I wanted to watch a movie with you, if you're feeling okay that is!" He said, showing her the DVD he brought along with the two comics. "I also thought you might want to take it easy..." He was sure Shoto's pile of homework had gone untouched. "so I also have some comics." Maybe she'd like just looking at the pictures?

Feeling Ruka against him, he jumped, making a face. Ruka?! He wasn't sure what to do. Was she okay? He placed a hand on his shoulder, Denki finding himself shaking a little, mostly from a mixture of worry and teenage hormonal excitement that some girl wouldn't mind using him as a pillow. "Kurotsuki-san?" He questioned her, his voice even shaking a bit. He wouldn't let her die on his watch! He trailed his hand down her arm, even through the sweater, he could feel she was hot. Was it her quirk or something more? He felt so helpless. What could he do for her? "I hate to see you like." He muttered. "What can I do to make you feel better?" He asked her, hoping she had some idea to help him. Though in reality, he shouldn't be pushing that responsibility of thinking onto someone so sick. "What if I got you some ice cream...?" No he couldn't leave her alone, surely. "Or maybe a cold cloth for your head?"

Yagi watched helplessly as Mela rummaged through the fridge after a moment of thinking. Was she alright? No, of course not! She was drastically sick according to the other teachers that even Principal Nezu sent him here! Plus the way her cheeks were flushed and how she walked with a wobble, she was clearly sick. Yagi blinked a few times as she laughed off his worries, oh? Maybe she wasn't as sick? He followed her back to the couch, worried that she'll fall and let out a small sigh of relief when she safely made it back. He took a sip of the water offered to him before he took a seat beside her. Watching Mela struggle to open the bottle was quite an endearing sight. Yagi couldn't help but watch her before she turned towards him with a tearful expression. How could one say no to that?

Taking the bottle into his hand, Yagi opened it with ease though he added a bit of a dramatic show by 'struggling' to open it so as to not let Mela feel so bad about not being able to open it. He finally opened the bottle and handed it back to her while saying, "that was quite the tough battle! With your help, I was able to open it, thank you Mela-chan." He smiled at her, hoping that'll take away some of her disappointment. But instead of her smiling and laughing at his joke, Mela began to cry as she rambled about how useless she was. Yagi's eyes went wide as his arms were flailing beside him in a panic. W-what does he do!? What does one do when a young lady is crying!? Yagi's mind was whirling with questions that went unanswered before he did the one thing he can think of that would comfort a sad person.

Yagi wrapped his arms around her and hugged Mela to his chest. Resting his head on top of her own, Yagi murmured out in hush whisper, "shh, it's alright Mela-chan, don't be sad...you're not a burden to anyone." He rubbed soothing circles onto her back as he hoped to calm her down. Once she seemed calmer, Yagi pulled back and smiling down at her, he told her, "don't say sorry. I'm glad I came by! If I can do anything to put a smile on your face and take away that nasty cold, then please tell me! I will do anything for you Mela-chan!" Realizing how his words sounded like a confession, Yagi's cheeks turned red as he turned back to hand Mela the water as he stuttered out, "d-drink up! Water is good for you when sick!" Water is good whenever really...but Yagi had no clue what he was spouting out now. Looking around, Yagi wondered what he can do to help her out. Homework and reading would just be boring and a headache when sick...so maybe..." hmm is there anything you want to eat or want to do, Mela-chan?" Yagi asked Mela, wondering if she was hungry.

As she leaned against Denki, Ruka couldn't help but note that he was quite warm...it was a soothing warm she supposed though a part of her missed Shoto's cold and warm comfort. Wait what was she even thinking!? Ruka opened her eyes slowly as she turned her head to look up at him. Ah...he was close she could clearly see just how brightly colored his eyes were, a pretty shade of gold, almost electrifying she must note. Ruka smiled softly up at him in apology as she murmured out, "ah sorry...I must be burning huh..." closing her eyes, Ruka took in a few breaths before speaking, her head getting rather comfortable on his shoulder, "a movie sounds good actually..." yes, just watching a movie and relaxing, that did sound pleasant right now. With a blanket...and Denki's warmth...she could use that too.

Opening her eyes once more as she heard Denki ask her if she wanted anything, Ruka looked up at him a sense of deja vu hitting her suddenly. What can he do to make her feel better...? Ruka stared up at him before murmuring out, "just stay like this...that's what I want..." closing her eyes, Ruka shivered slightly despite her body near burning. Seriously, why does her quirk hurt her like so? She could feel the blood boiling within her and it was near infuriatingly hot. At this point, Ruka was tempted to just take off her sweater, but no no...that wasn't allowed especially with a guest here beside her. Reaching for a blanket nearby, Ruka tossed it over herself and Denki before she made herself comfortable against him...he won't mind would he? "I'm sorry if this is uncomfortable for you Kaminari-san..." Ruka muttered out as she kept her eyes closed, "but it's quite comfortable for me..." what was she saying!? Ruka, stop now! Just stop! Her sane side was yelling at her in her hazy mind, but Ruka was just too damn cold and tired to care.

Wrapping an arm around his arm, Ruka looked up at him as she asked, "so what sort of movie did you bring?" After giving Kaminari instructions on how to start her tv and the DVD player, Ruka snuggled right back to his side. Warmth was good...warmth was nice. She kept her eyes glued to the tv as the movie started. Hm...interesting. Now how much longer until she completely loses her sanity? Ruka wasn't sure, but she could definitely feel it slipping away bit by bit. Hopefully, she won't go causing another scene and trouble Denki much like how she has done with Shoto. Speaking of Shoto...Ruka wondered how he was doing. Hopefully, he didn't catch her cold. She already gave it to Mela and still felt bad about that, having another person catch her cold will just make her feel even worse.

Seeing him pretend to struggle was quite entertaining to watch. She was quite enamored by how nice Yagi was compared to Aizawa. She liked to think herself as a rather sweet girl, unless she was feeling a touch vindictive or feisty, but she had to think the sitting beside her had to have some kind of sugary substance running through his veins. Still, in her mixed up brain, she had to feel pretty useless. First she had Aizawa come over and even stay with her. And now Yagi was here? Mela shook her head, sniffling lightly. If she was a hero, she couldn't just rely on so many people and force herself upon them. She was now unsure how she'd act around Yagi. She was quite thankful he wasn't Aizawa or All Might though, she didn't think she'd ever go back to school if she further embarrassed herself in front of either of her beloved teachers. Feeling his slender arms wrap around her, she blinked, her tears blurring her vision for a moment.

Huuh? Well she wasn't throwing herself at Yagi, but since he was holding onto her, Mela decided she would happily go along with it. It felt quite good to have someone pull her close, even if it was just to comfort her. Sure, she and Ruka held each other similarly but this felt a lot different when it was a cute guy. She held back a sad oise when he pulled back, she had indeed stopped crying. She repeated his words of comfort in her head, trying to make sure she didn't forget them. They made her feel quite special and a small smile returned to her face. His words sounded so sincere and she found herself blushing, hoping it blended in with her already flushed face. Having no words for his grand declaration of sorts, she took the offered bottle of water. "Just you being here makes me happy." She told him, her mind still lingering on what he had told her.

She took a few sips and set it down before she looked to the blond, it was clear he hadn't taken care of someone sick before, or at least too often. She was used to doting on Ruka when she got this way, though often Ruka would try to shoo Mela away so she didn't get sick. This time, she wasn't so lucky. "Mmm I'm not too hungry right now, I wouldn't mind watching something on tv." She grabbed the remote, missing it. Whoops. She grabbed again and finally got it, she turned on the tv and found a station airing some sort of All Might documentary. Perfect. She cuddled back against Yagi, wrapping an arm around his torso tightly, her head resting against his shoulder. "You know he's my favorite." She commented. "Though Aiza--Eraserhead is a close second. Still...I really do like All Might." She grinned, watching the tv. "He's such an inspiration. He's why I thought I could become a hero. Plus I think he's pretty hot haha. Are you a fan...?" She asked him, glancing up, briefly able to take her eyes off of some old footage of one of All Might's many rescues.

He had no idea why she was sorry she was hot. She was sick. She couldn't help it. Though even when she wasn't sick, Denki could consider Ruka hot for other reasons heh. Denki swallowed, trying to keep his mind focused. Right, a movie. He now was wishing he had brought popcorn or some candy, then it would be a proper movie night. Denki was about to blurt out that he could just go and come back real quick but with her staring up at him, asking him to stay with her like this, he choked. "S-sure." He felt a small zap of electricity spring from his blond head. Uh oh. He only did that when he got rather flustered and nervous. Or really happy. Denki hoped she hadn't noticed nor felt anything. With her so firmly attached to him, he was worried for her own safety. Maybe he could try and control his quirk. But he'd never had to do so with someone he liked almost in his lap.

She added a blanket and he smiled to her. That might make his static bursts a bit worse actually. But he wanted her comfortable so he reached over and tucked her in as best he could. He gave a weak laugh at her comment. "Oh...I-I-I'm not uh uncomfortable." He tried to say with a normal voice, hoping he didn't sound too high pitched. Denki was comfortable, almost too comfortable. But with Ruka acting like this, he had to wonder...could she like him? The same way he thought he liked her? This had to be the sign right? He was so happy, a few more volts of electricity began to emit from his head. When the movie was brought up, he explained the premise and got up to quickly set it up. He returned to where she was, noting how in the minute it had taken him, his body had cooled off. He found himself missing her warmth just as she missed his. "Alright, come here." He laughed as he sat back down.

He put the blanket back over them as it began to play. Since he had seen it already, he found he could just admire Ruka, feeling so happy and lucky. He couldn't help but pretend this is what it would be like if he was her boyfriend. They could curl up together, watch tv and totally ignore their school work. And for Denki, her being so wonderfully affectionate, he took it as a positive sign that they would get together. Maybe when she got better he could ask her out properly. He rubbed her arm lightly. Another bolt surged through him and he clenched his jaw, making sure it only hit him and not Ruka next to him. "You know this is really nice...being here with you. Like this." Ouch, another shock snaked through him. A giggle escaped his lips as he decided to rest his head against hers. Yes, this was exactly what Denki wanted. It hadn't occurred to him that her sickness was impairing her somewhat. "Say Kurotsuki-san...uh what's your perfect date? Or perfect guy?" He figured maybe he could get some tips for the near future since she seemed so agreeable.

Yagi could feel his heart skip a beat when she smiled so cutely up at him while saying that HE was more than enough to make her happy. He gulped. No one has ever really said that to him before in this form so it was somewhat refreshing if he was being honest to himself. Sure as All Might, he's gotten many people telling him many things which included many love confessions, but to hear someone say that to him in this lanky form of his? Well, he was quite happy. Smiling down at her, Yagi made no complaints when she latched onto his arm, though his face did sort of explode into a red blossom.

He leaned back into the couch when she pulled away, missing her warmth but no he shouldn't! But...no one has ever been this affectionate or kind to him in this form. He's only ever received the showering affection of Principal Nezu using him as a janitor in this form...nothing else and would one really call that affection? Maybe in a twisted way he supposed. Yagi nearly jumped in surprise when she cuddled back to him, holding onto his arm, pressing her smaller body against his thinly framed one. Yagi averted his eyes, looking at anywhere but her at the moment as he had to learn how to suppress these feelings bubbling within him all of a sudden. Before a hero, he was a man after all.

As she turned on the t.v, Yagi looked to see that it was a documentary about himself. Well then. Yagi blinked a few times as he wasn't sure what to say or do, but when he heard Mela's comment about All Might being her favorite hero...well darn he couldn't stop the blush this time around. He rubbed the back of his head, feeling shy all of a sudden as if she was complimenting him. Well, she was, but his hero form really. He honestly was at a loss for words when she mentioned that she thought of him as hot. Now he was definitely blushing. Realizing that she asked him a question, Yagi answered her quickly, "a fan? A-ah yes! Yes, I am a fan! I truly think he's a great hero and well he is the symbol of Peace after all...say Mela-chan...why do you like All Might so much...?" A part of him was smugly grinning at Aizawa-kun, hah she liked All Might better.

What the hell are you doing Ruka!? Her mind was screaming at her as she snuggled against Denki, letting out a happy sigh. She was cold and he was warm, well if she actually knew she was quite a heater at the moment. As they watched the movie, Ruka slowly lost herself in it surprisingly that she barely noticed a spark here and there flying above her head as it bounced out of Denki's hair. Normal Ruka would probably have noticed, but currently, this Ruka did not. Feeling him rub her arm, Ruka leaned into him more, enjoying the soft touch. It felt a bit electrifying and honestly? It felt kind of good.

Nuzzling up against his head, Ruka let out a small sound before answering him, "hmm? Yeah, it's nice...." and so very warm. Ruka was so focused on the movie that she barely heard his question. Glancing up at him in question, Ruka looked thoughtful before she leaned back into his side, "hmm my perfect guy...?" Hm...she never really thought of that before. Ruka smiled up at him as she said, "someone who will like me for who I am! And I suppose someone who can handle a little bit of heat hehe." She can be a bit fiery...quite literally so.

As the movie ended, Ruka found herself still snuggled against Denki, her eyes wide at the ending. Wow, that was actually a pretty fun movie. Turning to Denki, Ruka sat upright as she faced him, completely forgetting she was wearing no pants...maybe she'll have to enforce a habit of wearing pants at home, "that was a really fun movie! Ne, do you have more like that?" Ruka leaned closer to him asking excitedly. Her eyes were shining with slight excitement while her cheeks remained flush. Really Ruka...what the hell are you doing!?

Had she knew she was indirectly complimenting All Might himself, she would have just jumped off the balcony and hoped it would just kill her upon impact. Instead, she was quite happy to find another fan of All Might. She had spoken to Midoriya on and off about their shared love for the guy. Well, Midoriya didn't love All Might as much as Mela did but she was fine with that. But All Might was very popular so it didn't surprise her Yagi liked him too. All Might was so cheerful and helpful. While not a whole lot was known about him, a hero needed to have some secrets understandably, Mela was quite confident in her ability to recall various facts about him if asked. So far though, whenever she started to talk about him, everyone's eyes would glaze over and they'd find something to stare off into.

Ruka was more patient than most unfortunate people she cornered but even then, Mela tried to keep her babbling about the number one hero to a minimum. And in turn, Ruka kept her ramblings about her mythology to a minimum. Even so, both were happy to still listen to other because they were happy and sharing their thoughts with the other. When asked why she liked All Might, she let out a small laugh. Did she really have to explain it? She did have a list and sources back in her bedroom on her computer but she decided against digging it up. Instead, she decided to just go from memory. "Ehehe well~ He's really supportive of his students. I don't get to spend as much time as I'd like with him but...I know he's someone who really cares." Possibly too much. "And he's just so incredible. I mean speed, strength, defense...he has it all. It's almost impossible to believe."

"But even if he wasn't the number one hero, I think he'd still be my favorite." She nodded. "A while ago he ended up saving me from these weirdos and when it was all over, I didn't even get to thank him. I'm pretty sure he had been shopping when he happened upon me too...he's a great hero because he does what is right, even when it might not be ideal." She blushed. He was a great guy. "I'm sure he's got a tough life though. Everyone looks to him with these expectations when he's human like the rest of us. It's a fact so few forget." She frowned. "I wish there was something I could do to help him somehow...I worry he might be kind of lonely at the end of the day." She looked back to the tv. "It would be a dream to get asked out by him~" She giggled, her musing reverting back to happier thoughts now.

Denki was sad she hadn't elaborated on her ideal date but he supposed it was only right for him to figure that out on his own. He had to figure maybe she'd like a trip to a museum or some kind of really rare bookstore. But those two places were bound to put him to sleep. But for Ruka, he would his best to stay awake and stay as engaged in it as possible. He had to wonder if she might like going to an amusement park or rock concert or maybe to an anime convention. But maybe there was a way their interests could meet in the middle? Maybe he could find some kind of mythology themed amusement park. Perhaps that would be an odd thing to make, let alone visit. He'd have to think harder about how to make sure their first date, was the best first date ever. Denki was getting ahead of himself unknowingly but today was turning out really really well, despite being shocked repeatedly.

Someone who would love her for who she was? He could do that! He could do that with his eyes closed, it was so easy. But someone who could handle some heat? He understood her logic there. Still, for a moment he thought of Bakugo or Todoroki and made a face. Urgh. Please, her soulmate couldn't be either of those two guys. "I'm sure you'll find your dream guy Kurotsuki-san." He looked down to her, giving her a smile. "He might even be uhhh closer...than uh you th-think." He said, as another half a dozen shocks when through him. He tightened his grip around her, almost beginning to feel faint now. Denki barely focused on the movie, trying to enjoy just holding onto Ruka and not having anyone around to bother them. It felt so nice to have her full attention. When the movie ended, she got up and shifted closer to him. His eyes glanced down to her bare legs. He quickly looked up at the ceiling.

Sighing slowly, he held back a groan. This girl was both intoxicating and frustrating. "I er..." He trailed off before he forced himself to look back to Ruka, finding it far too easy to get lost in her eyes. God, he wanted to kiss her. No, she's sick. Don't. Wait. Just wait a bit longer, Denki. "Yes I do! You can come over to my place anytime and we can marathon a whole bunch!" He said, hoping she would take him up on the offer. He reached out, resting his hands on her shoulders, just wanting to make sure she didn't fall off the couch. "Sooo what exactly did you do with Todoroki-san yesterday?" He couldn't help but wonder. Surely the guy wouldn't be able to handle being this close to her. Denki sat back and pulled her back with him. Suddenly the lights flickered around him as he rested her head against his chest. Hopefully she didn't mind? "Would you like me to make you some dinner?" He asked her, figuring he could do that much for her and maybe he'd be able to impress her all the more with his skills. Though the lights flickered again. They might just go out...hopefully she had a flashlight or some candles heh.

As Mela listed her reasons as to why she likes All Might so much, Yagi could feel himself become happier by the second. He was glad to hear that his students looked up to him and thought of him like so, but as she got more in detail of him as a hero, Yagi somehow couldn't help but feel a pang in his chest. It is quite impossible to believe, but he didn't have it all truth be told. He has been defenseless and weak more than he can count and he's been in many helpless situations before as well. Though the one thing that frustrated and pained him the most would be that he can't be there to save everyone. He wished he could save anyone in need wherever they may be, but that was impossible for anyone. And so, Yagi promised himself to save those within reach, that is the most he can do and even then he'd fail that at times. He was a hero that many thought to be perfect all around, but that was far from who he truly is. Yagi kept a small smile on his lips however as he listened to Mela speak. Still, it was nice to hear such praise from her.

Though what she said next caught him off guard. So even if he wasn't the number one hero, she'd still find him to be her number one? Somehow that warmed his heart greatly. It seemed like Mela was quite good at warming his heart and face as she continued to talk about All Might. Ah, so there were a few out there that actually saw him as a human. He smiled at that, closing his eyes as he listened to her ramble on and on about All Might. He didn't find her ramblings to be a bother if anything it was rather sweet and cute. Though Yagi couldn't help but wonder how she would react if she found out that All Might is him, Yagi Toshinori. He wouldn't blame the sweet girl if she didn't believe him nor would he blame her if she no longer thought of him as a hero. After all, who would want a hero like him? He's lanky and looks quite frightening. Yagi could feel his mood dampening as he thought more of this until her last comment completely caught him by surprise.

Mouth hung open wide in shock, Yagi stuttered back her statement, "a-a dream to get a-a-asked out b-by him!?" Was she just pulling his leg or was she seriously looking at All Might as a potential love interest!? No...that can't be...right!? Cheeks tinting red, Yagi suddenly became more aware of everything from how she was cuddled up into his side to how his arm hanged around her, hand resting comfortably by her waist and then the t.v was just a buzzing sound for him now. He could literally hear his heart beating in his ribcage. Finding the room to be incredibly hot all of a sudden, Yagi stood up as he announced with a stutter, "M-Mela-chan! You must be hungry! L-let me make you something to eat!" With that said, he ran off to the kitchen to cool himself down.

He didn't quite understand it himself. She was his student for crying out loud! He can't be thinking of her like this!....but then...no one ever really spoke about him like that before. Not even his fans have ever had such a shine to their eyes as they spoke of All Might. He glanced back at her, somehow she felt different...but was it allowed? No, for her safety Yagi knew it would be better not to put any hope. Sighing to himself, Yagi began to heat up the pot of miso soup before rummaging for some rice and then cooking a soft porridge with vegetables and egg in it. Hopefully, she likes it, but porridge would be the best food to eat when sick after all. Yagi nodded his head as he tasted the porridge. Yup, the taste was good. He turned around to call for Mela, "Mela-chan, the food is ready. Did you want to eat in the living room?" Honestly, everything that came out of his mouth made him sound like a mom...sigh.

Meanwhile, a light sneeze was heard as Shota walked home from the market. He held a bag filled with some food, mainly fish for himself and Mi. As he arrived home, Shota was met with the back of Mi facing him as he entered the doorway. He blinked down at the cat who was obviously there to welcome him home yet kept its back turned to him. Was she mad? Bending down, Shota spoke up as he lifted the bag of fish in front of Mi, "I'm sorry I didn't come home yesterday...things happened...I bought you fish." He spoke so naturally to the cat as if the cat understood every single word he said...and it seemed like Mi actually did understand. For at the mention of fish and an apology, the brown-haired kitten turned around and greeted Shota with a meow. Shota let out a small sigh as he pets Mi behind the ear. She definitely does resemble a certain brunette.

Speaking of which...Shota couldn't help but wonder how Mela was feeling. Maybe he should have left his number there or something in case she needed anything else. His face blanked for a second as he shook his head, no that would be a bad idea. He can already imagine her calling him endlessly while sick. Her rambling was on a whole new level when sick. As he cooked the fish, Shota couldn't help but worry over Mela. His mind was filled with thoughts of her as he wondered if she ate if she was taking care of herself and most importantly if she was feeling better. He let out a loud sigh as he gave the meal to Mi as he decided that he'll have to go and see her tomorrow again. *Sneeze* Shota rubbed his nose as he wondered if he caught a cold. The sudden image of him kissing Mela's forehead came to mind...shaking his head, Shota muttered aloud to himself, "Nah...can't be." With that, he ate his meal with Mi beside him.

Oh, how Shota is going to regret his own words the very next morning.

Closer than she thinks? Ruka couldn't help but think about that. She never really put much focus into her love life now that she thought about it. She's always been content listening to Mela's love stories and honestly, the company of Mela was more than enough for Ruka. She never really understood the want nor need of having a lover unlike how Mela is. Not that it was a bad thing, Ruka supposed she just never really put love above many things in her life. Love itself was a foreign thing for Ruka during her childhood as she never really was able to fully enjoy her parents love so to speak. Though many others in her life filled her with love, perhaps a bit too much love at times. She looked quite lost in thought as she stared up at Kaminari. Hm...love huh. Maybe she'll have to talk about this topic with Mela some other time, though she was quite sure Mela would be shocked to hear such a topic come out of her mouth. Most of the things that Ruka would ever talk about often to Mela was their various adventures to something sweet she's craving and wants Mela to make for her to even mythology stuff, though that one she keeps to a minimum for Mela's sake.

Ruka smiled widely up at Denki as he invited her to see more of these movies. A marathon? That sounded quite neat. Ruka nodded her head eagerly, not minding him holding her shoulders as she simply spoke up excitedly, "sure! That sounds fun! Oh, I bet Mel would enjoy it too!" Ruka was already planning on inviting Mela and oh perhaps Kirishima-san too? She recalled how the four had quite the fun during the movies last time they went together. Ruka blinked up at Denki as he mentioned Todoroki's name all of a sudden. Huh? What did she do...? She felt herself fall forward along with Denki and fell on top of his chest. Ruka placed her hands against his chest, pushing herself up slightly so she can look into his face. Tilting her head to the side, Ruka murmured out, "what did I do with Todoroki-kun yesterday...?" her mind was slowly whirling with the events of yesterday and the moment she recalled a few....uneventful moments, Ruka's face turned red as she buried her face into Denki's chest as she replied in a muffled voice, "n-nothing really!"

Staying hidden against his chest, Ruka turned her head to the side so she can breathe and speak without being muffled, "um well he gave me the notes for class and then we talked..." as she continued to mumble out what happened yesterday, Ruka began to make small circles onto Denki's chest with her finger as she pouted, why did she feel so damn embarrassed telling what she did yesterday? I-It's not like they did anything bad! A sudden image of her cuddled up against Todoroki in the bed came into mind. "A-and we read a few books...a-and that was about it really!" Ruka fidgeted against Denki as she wasn't sure if she should even mention the other things. No no! That was just bad. Denki would probably want to leave right away and then Ruka will be left all alone again. She closed her eyes, why was she even panicking, to begin with!?

Peeking up at him, Ruka asked him, "um why do you ask?" Why was she even continuing this subject? She should be steering them away from it not continue it damn it! Ruka can already feel her logical side leaving her as her sanity waved goodbye at her and left her for the day...again. Well then. When he offered to cook something for her, Ruka sat up and looked excited, completely forgetting about what they were talking about moments ago. As much as Ruka loved to cook, she also enjoyed it when others cooked for her. Perhaps it brought her the few memories she's had of her mother cooking food for her as a child, but Ruka enjoyed it nonetheless. "Oh if you don't mind, then yes please!" Okay and maybe she didn't trust herself holding a knife right about now. With how feverish she was feeling, Ruka was certain she'd either end up cutting air or herself...more than likely herself.

As Denki walked off to the kitchen to cook, Ruka sat on the couch watching him from afar. Was it just her or have the lights been flickering on and off lately today? Hm, maybe there was something wrong with the building's electricity? Or it was all just in her head...yeah probably that. She hugged the strawberry plush against her chest as she just sat there watching him. The longer she sat there, the more she felt hot and stuffy. Hm, was the air conditioner broken? She felt as though the living room was becoming unbearably hot all of a sudden, or did she just light something on fire again by accident? No no...she had her entire house flameproof for a reason. Unable to take the silence for too long, Ruka stood up and slowly made her way to where Denki stood cooking. She peered around him curiously to see what he was making her, but a rather mischievous idea came to mind. Holding back a giggle, Ruka sneaked up behind Denki before wrapping her arms around his midsection tightly pressing herself against him while peering around him as she happily exclaimed, "got you~!" She giggled slightly before looking at what he was making, "so what are you making hmm?"

What on earth was she doing!? Ruka could never understand her sick self. All Ruka knew was that right now, she was feeling very mischievous and Denki Kaminari was her target. She giggled a bit more as she nuzzled her face into his back while saying playfully, "I'm not letting you go~" If she snapped out of her feverish state right now, Ruka was certain she'd go and kill herself. Probably just burn herself until she melted into a puddle sounded lovely right about now. For reasons unknown to her, Ruka was very tempted to just call him Denki-kun, but thankfully a part of her semi-sane side was holding her back. Though nothing can stop her teasing side as she peered up at him from the side, her eyes shining teasingly. "Are you my dessert then Kaminari-kun?" Ruka giggled a bit at her own words, feeling quite silly. Oh gosh...someone please just stop her. By this point, Ruka was certain she is going to move countries, maybe she can somehow convince Mela to join her. "Ne ne Kaminari-kun, won't you stay the night with me?" Ruka smiled widely up at her. Well, it was nice knowing everyone...Ruka will now go and disappear from life itself once her sanity returns to her.

Even though she was hoping to catch All Might's attention one of these days, she had to know he was pretty busy. "Yeah but it's pretty unlikely I know, he's too busy for dating I bet." She considered with a sigh. "Maybe I'll just have to ask him out myself." She supposed, though before she could speculate any further, Yagi seemed to just scamper away. Had she said something wrong? She wasn't sure why her statement would make him suddenly want to flee. Maybe he liked All Might too? No no that couldn't be it. Maybe he liked her? No no, that's not it either. But it was bewildering. And somewhat amusing. "I guess I should eat something." She had to admit. Still she didn't think fixing dinner needed to be done with so much urgency. What is it with guys like Yagi and Aziawa that they just wanted to get away so fast? She was beginning to wonder if it was her or something...nah, she was awesome.

"Knowing my luck, I'll end up with someone else anyway." She pouted, waving a hand as she laid back on the couch. Though was it better to just go through life alone or with a soulmate you may not be interested in? Then again, she didn't know who her soulmate could be. For all she knew, it could be All Might. That would be the best day ever. But her soulmate could be some fat guy from America. So much pressure to find the one but couldn't you find them without having to match two marks together? She glanced over to Yagi, wondering if he knew who his soulmate was. He was so easy to talk to though even when he got flustered, she thought he was still pretty cute. He seemed totally unaware of how cute he looked too.

At first she had wished he was Aizawa or All Might but she was now really glad Yagi had come to visit her. It must mean he really cared about her. Or was just doing his job perhaps. She closed her eyes, telling herself she'd rest for just a moment but soon she heard someone calling out to her. For a moment, she wondered if she was back home. She sat up quickly. "Y-yes?" She felt quite dizzy again, though that had to be due to her sitting up so fast. Mela placed a hand to her face. "I don't mind eating here heh." She blinked a few times. "I hope you made enough for yourself, Yagi-san." She said. "You're gonna stay for dinner right? I mean Aizawa-sensei pretty much stayed for breakfast." She blurted out without thinking. In her mind, she didn't think it was a big deal to say or anything since Yagi was a janitor, would he really tell Principal Nezu? Unlikely. Yagi didn't seem like that kind of guy.

Taking the bowl, she smelled it. It seemed pretty good to her but the proof was in the pudding er porridge. Taking a scoop, she let out a happy noise. It wasn't just Ruka's miso that made it taste good. There also someone else's love behind it too! She grinned to Yagi. "Thank you for making sure I don't starve." She said though it was unlikely that would happen in any case. Returning to the bowl, she went back to eating, her mind having forgotten to ask him about his soulmate mark. "So tell me Yagi-san...what did you do before UA? You mentioned you had a quirk? Flying? Oooh~ can you take me flying someday!" She gushed, her initial serious need to get to know him better had suddenly deteriorated as she swooned at the idea of flying. "You're so nice Yagi-san, and you can cook, and you're adorable." She reached over to ruffle his hair. It was so wild. "You'd make a great boyfriend." She declared.

Suddenly the lights went out. She looked around. The city lights from the balcony provided good enough light though Mela had to wonder if it was just their complex or something of a greater scale. Dropping her hand, she scooted closer to the blond. No, she wasn't really afraid of the dark. But it gave her a good excuse to cozy back up to the man. Though part of her was worried he'd just run off and try to fix whatever was wrong. But Mela was sure it would be fixed sooner or later. She grabbed onto his hand, lacing her fingers with his own. He was a bit cooler to the touch than she was. "You don't have to go yet do you?" She asked him. The living room was darkened but not pitch black by any means thanks to the light pollution coming from the balcony. "It wouldn't be very heroic to leave me alone like this." She pointed out. Sadly in the dark, she couldn't put on a sad look so instead the girl tightened her hold on his hand.

When Todoroki arrived home, he felt rather draining which was odd since he hadn't done a whole lot at school. He put his things down, removed his shoes and slipped into his slippers, and headed off to take a long bath. Perhaps that would do the trick? He was going to get some reading done but with the steam filling the room and his head a bit unfocused, Shoto had to resign to just relaxing in his bath. About an hour, he emerged. Had he known Kaminari had gone off to see the sick Kurotsuki, he would have gone to intercept the boy. He didn't need Kaminari getting any ideas when Kurotsuki was in such a vulnerable state. He blushed thinking about laying in bed with her. It had been a mixture of comfort and nerves. Ruka seemed to have a strange effect on him but he didn't mind.

Once dressed in something more casual for home, a pair of shorts and a tee shirt, he settled into bed, not realizing how early it was for him to be laying down. He grabbed the book Ruka had given him in the morning but his eyes couldn't seem to read the words that were right in front of him. He felt a little warm and had to assume these were the oncoming symptoms of whatever Ruka and Mela had come down with. He groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. Oh no. He couldn't go to school now. He wondered if he could keep this sickness from his father, not wanting to deal with him trying to do simple things like bring him soup or cold packs. He sunk further under the covers, giving up on the book. Ruka hadn't yet texted him so he had to hope she was okay.

He had to wonder why Ruka always insisted she invite others on what were meant to be epic dates? Either she didn't want to be alone with him or she just wanted to invite more friends to have fun. Which could it be? Ruka seemed to avoid really answering him as she buried her head in his chest. He turned bright red. What was she doing?! Trying to hide? From what kind of thoughts? He felt a shocking shudder snake up his spine as he tried to keep his body controlled. He really wanted to keep her like this but he couldn't. No no he couldn't. He looked away, "Uh huh...s-sure. S-sounds nice." He was barely able to listen to her as he noticed her finger stroking him. Heheh that felt really nice. He finally felt brave enough to look down at her. Damn she was cute! Should he tell her that? Why not? But instead of paying her a much deserved compliment, she turned the topic on him, asking why he'd want to know.

"I er uh...I just wanted to make sure he took care of you alright." You know before going home. Denki took a deep breath as she seemed okay with him getting up and making something for her. He wasn't really good cook or anything but he had to believe he could make something that she'd enjoy. Maybe he'd get another chance to really plan a good dinner for her. He set her back in the couch, putting the blanket back over her before he headed off to the kitchen. He sighed a few times, his shocks subsiding now that he wasn't in such direct contact with Ruka. Denki looked around. She had a few things he could use. He found some chicken that looked fine. He went to grilling them, making a quick sauce to go with it. She'd need protein right? Unaware he was being watched, Denki mixed some of her spare soup in with some rice, figuring that would taste good.

Lost in thoughts about what he could do with Ruka when she was better, he hadn't noticed the girl had wandered over to him. When arms reached around him, he let out a rather unmanly scream. "Ahhh Rukaaa?!" He almost fell over as a large burst of electrical energy was released throughout the entire complex. He was shaking by the time it was over, his brain on the brink of failing him. He grabbed onto the counter for support, laughing nervously. To say she had scared him would be a dangerous understatement. He hadn't expected such a sneaky attack, a few more bolts jetting from his head. "I uh...I'm uh m-making some chicken for you." Well he was. Now with the power out, he didn't think he could finish dinner like he planned. Her face nuzzled against him and he found himself pushed to the point where his quirk had now in fact fried his brain. "N-not letting me go?" He began to giggle. That didn't worry him in the slightest.

"Well good, I don't want you to!" He replied, now feeling quite dopey and rather relaxed. At the idea of him being her dessert, he normally would have blushed and questioned her but instead he found himself laughing. "Like with cream and a cherry?" He laughed, trying to picture himself as some kind of hot fudge sundae. Would he be tasty? He wasn't really sure. But Ruka seemed interested so why not? How could he deny her? He turned around to face her. Maybe for dinner they could just resort to ice cream? Denki pulled out some from the freezer and held it up. "Sooo I guess this is dinner and dessert." He smiled to her, for now not seeing anything strange or possibly sexual about their comments. Suddenly Ruka asked him to stay the night.

If he had any more of his quirk stored up, he would have lightly lit up like a light bulb. "Sure! I'd love to!" He exclaimed. "It'll be like a sleepover hahaha." He said. Though in a few minutes when Denki would snap out of it, he would wonder what he was even thinking. Denki grabbed some spoons and headed back to the couch so they could enjoy their dinner of ice cream. Maybe it would help cool her off? Yeah, this was totally the adult choice. He dug his spoon in and took a bite, handing the carton back to Ruka so she could have some, still rather buzzed. "You know I'm glad you're not at school." He blurted out. "I mean Mineta...that guy is pretty creepy, I wouldn't want him around you. Especially when you have your costume on. It looks really good on you by the way." He said, not knowing it had bee something Ruka was trying to rectify. "I wouldn't mind being your partner." He grinned sheepishly, hoping he didn't sound too creepy for admitting such. Unlike Ruka, Denki's mind would return to him much sooner.

Yagi nodded his head as he placed the dishes on a tray before heading over to where Mela was sitting on the couch. He nodded his head as he let out a small laugh, "yes yes, I made enough for myself as well." He gave her a smile though when she mentioned that Aizawa-kun stayed the night, he nearly dropped the tray. Startled, Yagi stared wide-eyed at her as his mouth hung open. What.Did.She.Say!? Yagi could feel his soul slowly departing from his body as he finally processed what she just said. Aizawa-kun...stayed the NIGHT!? All sorts of images and what if's came to mind for Yagi as he attempted to reel his soul back in, but the shock was quite...devastating. He sat there for what seemed like forever, just listening to her ramble for a bit before he snapped out of it once Mela touched his hair.

Well, that did the trick. He blinked a few times as he blushed at her compliment. Wait....did she just say he can fly? Yagi looked quizzically over at her before remembering he mentioned something about flying the other day. He sweatdropped...he didn't think she'd actually believe him. She was a lot more innocent than he thought. Pushing aside his thoughts, Yagi cracked a smile as he answered her, "s-sure. I'd love to give you a lift! Ahahaha." Haha...funny Yagi. Now, how the hell was he supposed to do that? He can't fly unless he was All Might and even then the image of All Might flying on a broom...yeah that's never going to happen. But more importantly, did she just say he'd be a good boyfriend!? Yagi could feel the heat crawl up his neck though before his entire face can explode with a dazzling show of red, the entire room went black. Huh?

Yagi blinked a bit as he looked up, did the power just go out? He wondered if something happened. Suddenly his heroic side was kicking in and Yagi was making to stand up to go and get it checked out when he felt Mela's hand. Feeling her slender fingers intertwine with his boney pair, Yagi could literally feel himself melting as he sat back down. W-what is this!? No one has ever held his hand like this. He could literally feel the sadness dripping from Mela's voice. How can he say no to that!? As much as he would love to go and fix whatever was causing this power outage, Yagi let out a soft sigh as he lightly squeezed her hand back, "I'm right here Mela-chan...don't you worry." He cracked a smile despite knowing she probably can't see as he spoke up cheerfully, "do you have any candles? I'll be right back so just stay put, okay?"

With that, Yagi hurried off to the kitchen, a few bumps and thumps could be heard as he finally found some candles. Lighting them up, he walked back to where Mela sat and sitting next to her, Yagi held her hand once more as he smiled over at her, "there, now we can eat hehe." It was a bit romantic with it being candlelights and the room being dark otherwise...but she wasn't interested in him like that, right? No, wait! Bad Yagi! Either way, he shouldn't!

Ruka giggled back at Denki's own joke about him being her dessert as she replied back while poking his nose, "silly! You mean strawberries and cream!" She giggled a bit as his laughter was making her more giddy for reasons unknown to herself. As he agreed to stay the night, Ruka cheered though she blinked a few moments later as she realized the lights went out. Oh? What happened? She looked about in confusion but hearing that ice cream is their dinner, Ruka smiled as she nodded her head. She followed Denki to the couch, sitting right next to him, nuzzling her nose against his shoulder before eating some of the ice cream. Ah, that definitely hits the spot and cools her slightly.

She nodded her head in agreement, "ah yeah, Todoroki-kun mentioned that to me yesterday. Hm, I wouldn't have minded though!" Ruka's nose scrunched up in disgust at the image of a drooling Mineta as she explained while holding up a hand which she lit with her flame for a brief moment, "I would have loved to burn him hehehe." Now she really shouldn't be saying that if she wanted to become a hero, but hey who was thinking right? Ruka stared up at him as she soon smiled, "really? I was scared you and Todoroki-kun would think bad of me, it's not like I wanted such a costume...stupid Yukito!" Ruka muttered out Yukito's name softly as an afterthought. She wouldn't have been in trouble if he didn't meddle with her design! Hopefully, he got the message of her demand for a new one.

She smiled over at Denki, leaning over and wrapping her arms around him as she happily exclaimed, "yay~ I wouldn't mind you as my partner either hehe." She pulled back as she looked about, wondering when the lights would come on. "You know, I wish I can help since I have a flame quirk, but my flames are black...so it doesn't light anything up." She pouted up at Denki as she felt rather useless here. And here she had a fire quirk, bet Todoroki could easily handle this situation. Finished with her ice cream, Ruka leaned back against Denki as she giggled while grabbing hold of his hand which had some ice cream on it, "you got some ice cream on you silly." She lifted his hand and licked the spot where the cream was on. Once done, Ruka grinned over at him, "oh you got some on your face too." Leaning forward, Ruka was about to lick off the ice cream on his face when the lights came back on suddenly. Ruka blinked, oh? That was quick.

She looked around before smiling at Denki. Completely forgetting what she was about to do. "Are you going to share the bed with me too~?" Hugging the stuff berry in her arms, Ruka happily exclaimed, "Todoroki-kun was kind enough to stay with me and protect me from my nightmares!" Oops...well now she just did it hasn't she? If only Ruka knew what she was even rambling on about. "Mm but Kaminari-kun is warm~ So you'll keep me warm, right?" Ruka grinned up at him before standing up, "let's go~!" Grabbing his hand, she began to drag him to her bedroom. Why...why Ruka!?

Hehehe guys were almost too easy to manipulate. Of course she didn't see as something bad, Yagi had to enjoy her company as much as she enjoyed his. If anything, he should be glad she was convincing him to stay with her. She wasn't about to make him move boxes or water flowers. When hre assured her he was there, she could hear the smile in his voice, not needing the light for that. Mela was quite glad could convince him to just relax. Not every problem had to be solved, let alone by him. "Ummm candles?" She repeated. "I might have some?" Even though she had recently unpacked her last box, she couldn't be sure if she had candles. She nodded when he told her he'd be right back but then she realized he probably couldn't see her nodding, "You got it." She spoke up as he let go of her hand and headed off somewhere. Mela hoped Ruka was okay at the moment. She would hate to think she was stumbling around in the dark, all alone.

He came back with some light. He had to have found them in a drawer somewhere. She happily took hold of his hand again and went back to eating. "This is so romantic." She teased, as if reading his mind. She was so happy. Aizawa fed her and she gets to hold Yagi's hand. Now if only All Might would show up. After a minute in the darkness, the lights turned back on. Oh? Mela held but a whine. The lights off had been quite a lovely surprise but she supposed it was for the best that neither of them try to move around the dark. Her mind wandered off to things people could do in the dark before she stopped herself, her face turning red. "I guess it fixed itself huh?" She smiled to Yagi, glad he didn't wander off for nothing. She finished her meal and set it down on the table. "Anyway, you said you'd stay right? Right?" She tugged at his hand slightly. "Come on, we should just get some sleep before there's another outage." She nodded. That was a very good idea.

Mela got up and pulled the man along behind her. She was quite thrilled to have someone to cozy up to again. It was quite comfortable to hold onto someone else, instead of just a pillow. Just staying in her sweatpants and shirt, she hopped into bed and motioned with her hand for him to join him. If she had a moment of clarity, she may have just hidden under said bed, but instead she saw nothing wrong or embarrassing about luring such a sweet guy into bed with her. Once he laid down and got comfortable, she rolled onto her side and slipped an arm around him, pressing herself up against his back while her other arm rested above them, her fingers playing with his hair. Her forehead rested against his back as she cradled him from behind, feeling quite comfortable. "Rukie-chan says I'm pretty comfortable. What do you think?"

"No no, your costume is great!" He blurted out though he had to wonder who was this Yukito. Were they male or female? And what did they have to do with her costume? But his confusion was quickly tossed aside when she mentioned how her quirk couldn't help them right now. "Aw but that's okay. Your quirk is unique. It may not help here but it could keep us warm anyway." He told her, his senses finally returning to him, it seemed he was no longer stuck in a stupor. "Though there are other ways of getting warm..." He couldn't help but add quietly, wishing they were curled up again. She was so warm and soft. But they couldn't when there was ice cream to be eaten. He felt bad he couldn't provide her with something better but he told himself she needed calcium or whatever was in ice cream. Upon feeling Ruka take his hand, he let out a small chuckle. "W-what are you doing?" He gulped but instead of an answer, he felt something wet lick at his hand. His heart stopped. Did she just like him? Hehe. It tickled.

Eyes going wide at her next comment, he almost fell over, a large surge running through him as he released his quirk, all lights now turning back on, looking brighter than ever. "I-I-I-I'm okaaaay!" He felt fried all over again. He let out a small whine, rather sad that she hadn't cleaned his face too. His heart was beating wildly as he put a hand to his chest, trying to see if he was still in one piece after that sudden outburst. He looked around, adjusting to the lights now. "Bed?" He repeated, the wires in his brain not connecting properly anymore. Todoroki-kun? He stayed with her? TODOROKI-KUN? He felt another few shocks run through him as he nearly staggered ot his knees once Ruka got up. "Todoroki stayed with...with you last night?" He was now considerably pale. No. No no no no. Seriously? That guy?! Denki wa shaving a hard time getting his body to move but instead, Ruka was taking care of that little problem for him.

"I er uh uh yessss...I can do that. Wh-whatever you want." He found himself trying to keep up. Despite the last shock, the one Ruka had given him just now had seemed to cancel out the cool down period so now Denki was quite aware of his surroundings, not enveloped in a haze of idiocy and happy-go-lucky attitude. Once pulled into her bedroom, he felt his chest tighten. Todoroki had to have been on the couch right? This wasn't going to stop bothering him at all. He shook his head, but found the images to be worrying. Shoto would really stay with a girl alone? I mean, Denki would but Shoto...really? He looked back to Ruka, trying not to appear as pained as he was about all of the chaos in his head. "So uh you and Todoroki....kun? Uh-" He just realized she had called him Kaminari-kun too! Suddenly he felt a lot more relaxed. "I'd be happy to sleep with you!" He laughed and then smacked his head at how that came out. Smooth. "Nooo! I mean uh like to just uhhh keep you warm. Yeah!" He waved his hands at her, a few stray bits of lightening fly from his head as his face was set ablaze. Why couldn't he think before he spoke?

Yagi felt his face turn red as she just stated what he was thinking. He fidgeted in his seat as he wasn't sure what to say. Thankfully the lights turned back again and thus Mela's attention went to that. He also looked around wondering what the cause of the outage was to begin with. He smiled over at Mela as he lightly squeezed her hand, "well it's a good thing the light came back on huh." After finishing eating, Yagi nearly spat out the remainder of his drink as Mela mentioned sleeping with him tonight. Wait what?! W-when did he agree to that?! Yagi's mind went blank as he recalled such a topic coming up a bit before the black out. He probably forgot about it as his soul er his mind blanked out on him.

Before Yagi can try to tell her that was probably a bad idea, she was already tugging on his hand and dragging her away. His heart was beating so fast that he could feel it nearly jumping out of his chest. As they entered her bedroom, Yagi's eyes nearly popped out at the poster of All Might, so she really was a fan of his.... somehow he felt flattered but embarrassed at the same time. As he was so lost looking at his own face hanging on her wall, he turned around and nearly jumped at the sight of Mela gesturing him to come to the bed. His entire face felt hot as he slowly walked over. In his mind the warning flare was blaring wildly yet his body moved on it's own, not listening to his screaming mind one bit.

Laying down, Yagi turned in his side so that he was facing the wall. He kept repeating in his mind to think of something else, yes like being a hero!....but after a moment he heard the shuffling of the sheets before feeling something soft pressing against his back. Yagi stiffened slightly as his eyes went wide. As he heard her question, Yagi swallowed hard as the words seemed hard to come out before he slowly muttered out in a week voice, "y-yes..." Taking in a breath, Yagi composed himself before smiling softly as he rested his hand over her's as he murmured out, "yes, it's very warm...goodnight Mela-chan."

As she led Denki to her room, Ruka answered his questions without putting much thought to her words, "hm? Yeah Todoroki-kun stayed with me last night! He even made me breakfast hehe." As she entered her bedroom, she tugged on his hand, leading him to the bed. Plopping down, Ruka never let go of his hand and instead playfully tugged on it, bringing him down with her.

Letting out a small giggle, Ruka grinned over at Denki, running her hand through his hair as she recalled last night, "he was really nice enough to stay by my side...he kept the nightmares away..." And he was so warm yet so cool...Ruka blinked a few times before smiling over at Denki, "but I'm sure you're just as warm~ and you'll be my hero and protect me from my nightmares...right?"

Ruka laid her head back as she stared at the ceiling, "hey, do you ever get nightmares...?" She asked him softly in question as she held onto his hand. Do nightmares last forever...? Would she never run away from them? Not wanting to think any further, Ruka turned around and hid her face against Denki's chest. Wrapping her arms around his waist, Ruka murmured out, "don't leave me please..."

If she had known certain visitors were coming over, she would have done some hasty redecorating, without a doubt. But she she knew Yagi to be a fan of All Might, she wasn't too bothered by the poster. If anything, she was more flustered that Aizawa had seen it but thankfully she hadn't yet put up the old poster she had of him. It was rather a rare find, she was proud to say. Closing her eyes, she drifted off to sleep, quite content. Her dreams were rather nice, she had a dream she was at UA and about to graduate and hit the streets with her favorite heroes. It was quite fun running around and saving the day but that all faded away when morning rays hit her face. Mela let out a sleepy sigh as she realized she wasn't holding onto a pillow or a blanket, but a person. Why does this keep happening?!

The next time someone visited her, Mela would slam the door in their face for everyone's best interest. But then she realized something...she wasn't as feverish or sick as she had previously felt. She blinked a few times and felt a lot better, like a terrible weight had been lifted from her shoulders. But then horror returned as she craned her neck to see the person she was spooning wasn't just a person, but Yagi. Oh god. Why did he put up with her and stay?! Mela's face turned red, not because of who she was with, but at her own self. She couldn't believe she couldn't keep her damn hands to herself. This was beyond embarrassing, she had now broken through to mortifying and humiliating.

And once again, she had no idea what she had really done or said, it was a jumbled jigsaw mess and she had no hope of putting it together. Maybe it was best she didn't. She felt rather sad that she didn't remember much of what happened. Yagi was such a good guy, he probably took really good care of her and she had still take advantage of his kindness. What could she do to repay him? Probably allow him to ignore or avoid her for the rest of her life. Yeah, there was no way he'd want to be in the same room as someone like her. Urgh. There goes one of her crushes, down the drain. She decided she could at least get him something to eat and beg for forgiveness.

Getting out of bed, she made sure Yagi was still tucked in before she headed out to the kitchen to clean up. She made some rice and a fried egg and brought back two bowls though her gut was telling her to just leave her apartment and wait a few hours. Maybe then he'd leave and she wouldn't have to face him. But then she thought about seeing him around campus and then there was Aizawa-sensei who probably hated her even more after whatever she had done to him. Hanging her head in shame, she inched her way back to her room, a sense of dread replacing a previous need to vomit. She set down the bowl by the bed and looked to Yagi, observing him for a minute before she leaned over. "Umm...Yagi-san..." She bit her lower lip.

Once he was up, they shared a slightly awkward breakfast. Now that she was feeling better, she'd have to go school and face Aizawa. She knew Yagi probably had to go but she decided she should spend the morning shopping and cleaning up, then go in for the last half of the day. Surely that would be okay. "I'm really really sorry about...whatever happened." She said quietly as she stood by the door, seeing Yagi out. Gosh, she hoped he didn't think she just dragged anyone into her room. She wasn't that kind of girl! Mela glanced down at her feet, "I am uh glad you came over though." She said, a blush tugging at her cheeks before it vanished, remembering a moment of them in bed together. Oh god, Mela. "I am feeling a lot better though so...I...I guess I'll see you around. Thank you, Yagi-san." Though she would rather just hide and not have to go back to UA at all now.

Once he left, Mela shut the door and let out a long sigh. She slipped her clothes off on the way to the bathroom and took a long shower, unable to stop from crying at her own stupidity. Once out and dressed in her uniform, she sent a text to Ruka: "I'm feeling waay better! If you're feeling better too, we should go to school this afternoon, maybe around lunch time and show everyone a little fever can't bring us down!!!" She made sure it seemed way more happy than she was really feeling. Grabbing her bag, she headed down to shop for some more groceries, about fifteen minutes later, she was back home putting things away. For a while she forced on what she could make during the week and how she'd catch up on her homework, doing her best to move forward but flashed of Aizawa carrying her or holding Yagi's hand kept springing forward without any warning. Mela wondered how she could face Aizawa today?

Knowing sooner or later, she'd have to see him and properly apologize, and perhaps ask to be transferred back out of UA, she headed outside. When Ruka was ready, the pair headed down to the bus stop a block away. Mela was glad Ruka was feeling better. When asked how she handled it, Mela was quick to say she was fine and no one really visited her, except for Iida-san to drop off her homework. She figured he'd be a good cover since Ruka approved of her and him becoming a thing, though that would never happen. She also figured Iida would go along with the white lie if she asked him too. He was such a nice guy.

Arriving at school, lunch seemed to be winding down so Mela and Ruka headed up to their classroom. Mela stopped by the teacher's lounge and overheard Present Mic talking to Midnight about how Aizawa was at home sick. Mela gulped. He was? Aw no. He got sick because of her. She placed a hand to her chest, the guilt returning like a tsunami. Not only did she bother him and somehow get him into bed but now he was stuck at home. She recalled how awful she felt and knew she had to do something for him. But would they really let her go visit him? Surely not. Mela waited until the lunch bell rang as to allow the teachers to head out of the lounge to their classes. Mela snuck in and headed over to the files and rummaged through them.

Aha! Finding Aizawa's file, she quickly put the address in her phone. Spotting his cell phone, she brightened but decided it was bad enough she was finding out where he lived, she shouldn't cross the line of stealing his number and calling him and then hanging up eheh. Mela quickly ran out and back into 3-A as everyone was getting ready to go over their training with their new partners. Even though Ruka and Mela could now partner up, Present Mic, their substitute said they should still take it easy this week and today, Thursday, and Friday to catch up on Monday and Tuesday's work. Meal and Ruka stayed in the classroom as the others headed out. She heard a few words of encouragement from Midoriya, Iida and even Kaminari, though he looked a bit pale and seemed to be sneezing, for some reason.

When school finally ended, Mela told Ruka she was going to head off to the local archery range and practice a bit before she headed off, saying she'd see her for dinner as usual. In reality, Mela headed off to go see Aizawa, just for a quick visit. She was sure he didn't want to see her but she felt she had to see how he was. She picked up some items at the store before locating his apartment. It was rather nondescript. She looked around before she knocked on the door, still in her uniform. Mela fidgeted, expecting him to just tell her to away but she was hoping he'd be in such a state, hopefully nothing like she was, where she could just apologize, give him what she had brought and then run away. Mela thought she saw something fuzzy in the window . Maybe she was still seeing things?

As he laid there with Ruka, his mind kept circling back to what she said about Todoroki. It was driving him crazy! The guy made her breakfast too?! What the hell! He never expected Shoto to do that or even stay with someone. He seemed so private and reserved. He held back some grumbling as he placed a hand on Ruka's head. "Of course I'll keep you safe." He smiled lightly, trying to settle his worries regarding Shoto. Somehow he'd have to ask Ruka or Shoto about it later. Yes. "I...yeah I do." He nodded to her question. His could be annoying violent though, mostly due to what he read or played before bed. She snuggled up against him and his hand instinctively went to hold her in place. What were you doing Denki?! Stop encouraging this.

But he told himself she was sick and just needed someone to hug and to hold. He was more than happy to be that person for her. And he was even more happy it wasn't Shoto again. Damn him. He closed his eyes, "Of course not, I'll stay as long as you'd like, Kurotsuki-chan." He said sleepily. After exerting a lot of his quirk, Denki was rather tired and out like a light. He dreamed of fighting off the likes of Bakugo and Todoroki, they had turned into dragons and Ruka was his princess who he had sworn to protect. There was even a little troll who looked a lot like Mineta. He chuckled a little in his sleep and in the end, he saved the day and beat everyone else up. Heh.

Soon morning came and Denki woke up, his darting around. He had been so comfortable. Why hadn't Peachy woken him up? Sometimes the cat would paw and knead on his chest until he got up or until Eijiro was banging on his door. So why did things feel so...different? He looked down and saw his arm still wrapped around Ruka. He gulped. He was in her bed? How did he get there? He thought back and it all hit him. The movie, the ice cream, the black out, her pulling him into his bed and resting her dead on him. He also remembered her saying Shoto had stayed the night. Yeah, he wasn't going to forget that.

He couldn't help but nuzzle her cheek with his own, deciding to enjoy her warmth and attention before his dream fell back down to earth. Maybe when they went out as a real couple, this could become a thing. Eventually. Yeah, he'd like that. He ended up sending some gentle shocks to her unknowingly, before he got up and tucked her back in. His eyes lingered on her slender form, her hair strewn across her pillow. He swallowed and headed out to get his things. He checked the time and sighed, he had to go to school. He face palmed and quickly found some fruit for Ruka. He cut them up and left a note saying he had to head to school but he'd like her to text him when she got up. He hoped she would. He left it on the counter and headed out.

If he didn't have to get to class and answer Eijiro's many questions as to why he hadn't gone back to the dorms. Oh boy. Denki wound up being late for class since he had to change but thankfully Aizawa-sensei's glare didn't great him, but a loud 'gooooood morning' from Present Mic. Denki sat down and looked to see Todoroki absent. How odd. And Aizawa was gone too? He didn't think much of it as their lectures kicked off and Denki struggled to keep up with the pace. By the time lunch rolled around, everyone was under the assumption Shoto had gotten sick having visited Ruka. Though no one could explain Aizawa's absence. Denki knew the real reason Shoto was gone and that was because he had spent the night with Ruka. Cringing, he headed back to class when the bell rang and saw Kurotsuki and Uede in their seats.

He offered them a smile and a wave but wasn't able to get near her as they were dismissed to go train for the rest of the school day. Denki headed out, "It's good to see you guys." He said as he passed by, noting they were likely going to catch up on old work. He didn't envy them one bit but he was glad they were feeling better. And Denki liked to think he had something to do with her sudden recovery. He had nursed her back to health and no one could tell him otherwise. When classes ended, Denki headed back to the dorms to get some rest and check on his cat. Eijiro ran after him and began to interrogate the blond as to his whereabouts. Denki didn't think it'd be right to tell Eijiro he had stayed the night so he just said he was out doing hero work on his own. That of course earned a huge laugh from the redhead.

Getting back, Denki focused on Peachy, wondering what Ruka was up to. He hadn't gotten a chance to catch up with her. He wasn't upset with her or anything though. He understood some people acted strange when they drank or did drugs or got sick or even were around their idols. He by no means held anything against her. Heh. Well if anything, it re enforced his growing feelings for her. Having been so close and comfortable with Ruka, he was even more hopeful that they'd get together for real. He decided he'd get his plan together in the next week or two and then make his move!

Back at Todoroki's house, the boy was on his own. He had kept his illness from his father though he was a bit lonely without anyone to dote on him. He woke up late and called into UA High School, explaining his new found illness. They understood, given the circumstances and assured him to just focus on getting better. There was no way the school wanted someone who was sick to try using their quirk around others. Shoto took the time to catch up on the book Ruka had recently lent him. He ordered himself some soup and spent the early afternoon in his room, huddled up in blankets. From time to time, he'd let out a sneeze, bits of frost coming from his mouth. It was very odd. He placed the back of his hand on his forehead. He was very hot but how could he possibly sneeze ice? It was very very odd indeed.

Shoto felt a mixture of chills and hot flashes. He felt sorry for how Ruka had been feeling even more so now that he was feeling it first hand. He didn't often get sick but he had think this was a small way of making him slow down and not push himself too hard. He walked off to the kitchen, carrying his empty takeout bowl and threw it out. He stared out at the sunny but made a face. He felt awful. How could a day so nice be lost on him? Grabbing his mug of green tea, he walked back to his bedroom. He lived in a rather nice house, his bedroom was modern in decor, he had a bed, a desk, a dresser, a closet and a small bookshelf of his most prized books. All other books were in the family library. Shoto's bed was low and settled in front of a large window. The walls were pale lavender and the floor was a soft wood, a small step leading up to his bed which was on a platform.

Sitting on the step, he scratched his throat. He had on a white tank top and black baggy pants. He took a sip of his tea. It was bitter but he hoped it would help. He had to wonder if Ruka was feeling any better. Maybe they could both be sick together. He took another sip of his tea and pushed himself up back in bed. He couldn't train. He felt too weak to do so. That meant he'd at least try to focus on training his mind. Picking up the book, he noted he had only a few chapters left. He wondered if he'd be able to ask Ruka for the third in the series. But he was also a little concerned about how she'd act around him. He didn't think any different of her but he knew she'd have to get over her own feelings of anxiety and embarrassment on her own. He could only assure her so much and prove he was fine with being her support. Hopefully in due time, she'd be back to her old self. Though he couldn't help but note how lovely it had been to hold her close. Last night, he couldn't help but note how empty his bed and arms felt.

It was very very comfortable, more comfortable than he would like to admit. Yagi never really had anyone special or close to him, the only person being his teacher whom he looked up to as a hero, but romantically? No one. It's not like he hasn't ever fallen in love or anything, but Yagi knew it was better he doesn't. Being a hero can be tough at times especially to juggle love with it? It was hard, especially if one had as many enemies as All Might. Yagi feared that whoever he may fall in love with would have to suffer in his place against those villains...that was one thing he can never let happen. Yagi knew that was an inevitable future for whoever he may love and if that was something he cannot avoid, then Yagi will just have to make sure it will never happen in the first place. He's always kept people at an arm's reach in fear of falling in love. Yes, Yagi Toshinori was afraid of falling in love. Yet here this young girl was...suddenly catapulting into his life and now he somehow can't take his eyes off of her.

It was strange but new. He was afraid to admit what this new found feeling was and so he would often push it away and replace it with other feelings. Such as pride in having such a wonderful student, but mostly he would rely on the fact that he was a teacher and she was a student. Yes, that should be the ultimate line that no one can cross...and yet U.A has never enforced a rule where a student and teacher cannot be involved romantically. Heck, U.A has no rules regarding love in general! Yagi was both proud of his school for being so open-minded, yet at the same time, he was so torn and well frustrated. For most of the night, Yagi just laid there thinking about many things. Mainly about love and then the idea of soulmates came to mind. He couldn't help but be curious of what soul mark Mela had. But then soon after Yagi was scolding himself for thinking of such silly things. Sure, back when he was Mela's age he would often discuss about soulmates with his friends, but that was then. Things are different now...he had responsibilities, he was the symbol of peace...he couldn't just go and find love. That was just selfish of him. No, for the sake of everyone and most importantly for the sake of his love...All Might must never fall in love. Yagi felt so torn, but he knew that was what he will ultimately decide on. Though for now...as he closed his eyes, Yagi decided that for now enjoying bits and pieces of this feeling was acceptable.

As the morning light came filtering through the blinds, Yagi shut his eyes closed tighter as if that would do the trick in making the lights disappear. It was warm and comfortable...he didn't feel like waking up yet. Though at the sound of a soft voice calling out to him, Yagi couldn't help but open his eyes, wondering where he heard that from. It was such a soft yet sweet voice that he thought he was still dreaming. Looking up, Yagi nearly lets out a rather 'manly' shout but refrained to a small gasp instead as he was faced with Mela. Huh? Wait...what!? W-why is Uede Shoujo here in his roo--room? Looking around, Yagi noted the place to most definitely not be his room. Hm? What? As yesterday's events came playing in his mind, Yagi sat up straight and bent down, forehead touching the soft mattress of the bed as he bowed in apology to Mela as he said, "I-I'm sorry!" What was he sorry for...? Well, he wasn't exactly sure, but he was sorry for the things he thought of. Ehem.

As she offered him a bowl of breakfast, Yagi looked up at her in surprise. Wasn't she going to kick him out? He thought surely she would be upset or embarrassed but instead, here she was offering him breakfast. He cracked a small smile in thanks before taking the bowl and digging in. "It's delicious Mela-chan." Yagi told Mela happily before finishing off the bowl rather quickly. After the two ate breakfast, Yagi stood up and told Mela that he must be off for work, he was late. Uh-oh. As he turned around to say bye to her one last time, Yagi looked down to hear her apologize to him. He blinked a few times before he smiled kindly down at her while lifting a hand to place on top of her head. "There's nothing to be sorry about Mela-chan...if anything I should be the one saying sorry. I feel like I caused you more trouble than helping you hehe." He scratched the side of his cheek as he looked about awkwardly. Not wanting her to be mad or sad at herself, Yagi pulled Mela into a quick hug as he stuttered out afterward, "u-uh I'm just glad to see you're doing better! I uh I should get going now! I'll see you at school then Mela-chan!" He waved to her one last time before hurrying down the stairs. He was LATE!

It hurt, every single cell of his body ached and screamed at him with every little movement he made. It was heavy, his eyes felt heavier than usual and his head was weighing like a ton. Did he mention that it hurt? A slight cough escaped his parched lips as bloodshot eyes stared up at the ceiling. How did this even happen...? One second he was at Mela's place caring for her rambling self and the next he was sneezing nonstop. He was doing just fine at school, but near the end of the day, everything decided to just hit him like a truck...a mad truck. Hearing a soft meow, Shota turned his gaze towards Mi who sat beside him, licking a paw. He let out a small sigh as he closed his eyes, trying to just sleep it off. He was positive it was from taking care of Mela and sleeping beside her and there was also that little kiss he did and well yeah. He really can't blame this on anyone but himself. He should have been careful but with Mela's odd yet endearing personality...well how can he say no to that?

Shota would have gone to school like always, but he was just so darn sick that he really wasn't in the mood for it. Plus if he easily caught Mela's cold, then he was positive that he would spread it like a virus at school. Rolling onto his side, Shota stared out at his room. It wasn't a fancy looking one nor was it crazy big or spacious. It was just the right size in his opinion. His room had the necessities and that was about it. Okay so the only thing different would be his king sized bed, but that was mainly because of his love for sleeping. Sleep was good. Sleep was nice. His room was in natural shades of light brown with a creamy tan wallpaper and wooden floors. There was a ceiling fan in the center of the room while his large and comfy bed sat at the corner of the room by the window. He had a kotatsu in the center of the room which he called his torture chamber as that was where he would work on grading papers and whatnot. Then there was Mi's bed beside Shota's own bed and his closet. He had a bookshelf but it wasn't grand or big. Just a decent sized one. Honestly...his room had zero decorations and he quite didn't care for that either.

Shota closed his eyes, hoping that he can just sleep off this cold but a pounding headache and the cold shivers running through his body told him that won't do the trick this time around. He let out a sigh as he wondered if he will have to drag himself out to go get some medicine and food? Just as he was thinking that there was the sound of knocking on his door. He lifted a brow, who would come see him of all people? He was positive Hizashi would not come especially with the knowledge that he was sick. He then briefly wondered if he ordered any take out and lost his memory of that? That...was possible with his current state. Sighing, he slowly stood up, clad in a simple long dark grey jogging pants and a loose v-neck shirt. He was thinking of going shirtless...but it was too cold for him. Ruffling his hair slightly, Shota opened the door and looked down...only to be surprised. Huh? "Mela...?" he accidentally spilled out in his complete surprise. What was she doing here?!

Before Shota can even question her, a soft meow was heard from behind him and in the blink of an eye, Mi has launched herself at Mela. "A-ah hey!" Shota yelled out but soon coughed as he reached a hand out and plucked Mi from Mela's arms, "sorry about that..." he muttered out before moving to the side, "come in, you can explain inside." He didn't like how bright the sun was shining. It was starting to hurt his eyes, rather talk inside then stay out here.

Another night of no nightmares. To Ruka, that was a miracle. She felt quite relieved to not have woken up early in the morning sweating as she recalled her nightmares. It was a nice feeling. Her dream was simple and relaxing, she was on an island with a warm fire beside her yet the cool winds kept her from being too hot then there were some soft tingling sensations coursing through her body as she stared out at the sea. It was peaceful and she didn't feel alone strangely enough. Eyes closed shut, Ruka leaned closer the source of warmth as she slept soundly, a small smile etched across her lips despite a light trail of electricity running along her body. It felt like a massage almost and so Ruka didn't even wake up.

A good few hours later, Ruka's blue hues fluttered open as she slowly sat up in her bed. She let out a small yawn while stretching her arms. Hm? Ruka blinked a few times as she got a better look at her surroundings. Oh? She was in her room alone, she was certain Kaminari visited her yesterday...as Ruka was thinking so the images of yesterday came flying back at her at full force. Her eyes were wide as she hugged onto a pillow, the soft blue pillow slowly turning black as her flames engulfed it. She should have gotten her pillows and clothes flameproof too. Oh no, what has she done!? As she looked about for any clues of Kaminari having been here, Ruka stood up as she hurried out of her room. Maybe just maybe she had enough sense to have sent Kaminari home yesterday?

Though on her way to the living room, Ruka stopped altogether as she stared down at her hands in confusion. Hm? She felt a lot better...her body wasn't as crazy hot nor was the room spinning. Did she...get better? It was thanks to both Todoroki and Kaminari for that she supposed. As her mind went back to the two, Ruka remembered what she was doing. Rushing to the living room, Ruka looked to the table and there indeed was the bowls with some melted ice cream in it. Her face paled as she walked backward until her back hit the kitchen counter. A sudden clatter caught her attention. Turning around, Ruka saw some fruit in a bowl and was that a piece of paper...? Curious, she reached a hand out and read it. As her eyes scanned the contents, her cheeks slowly turned pink as bits of black flame appeared on her head. Sinking to the floor Ruka held her head in her hands as she mumbled out, "so I actually did do those things...and he actually stayed...oh dear..." what has she done...?!

She thought she had one problem and now she had two major problems! How could she ever face Todoroki or Kaminari!? She was certain the two hated her. Ruka kept her head low, but as she recalled, she had both of their numbers and yet she hasn't even messaged either! No less even thanked them! Feeling remorse at her own actions, Ruka pulled out her phone, texting both of the two...though as she did so, Ruka couldn't help but stop halfway through the message. How could she so selfishly text them saying that she's all better and forget about what she's said or done!? Recalling yesterday's power outage and how she hugged onto Kaminari, Ruka can feel her face explode before her hair began to turn black with her flames. Maybe a shower would do...yes...a cold one.

As Ruka stood in the shower with ice cold water running down on her, she let out a soft sigh. Once she got out and changed into her school uniform, thoughts of asking for a transfer or perhaps a change of class? Ruka noted her phone to be blinking. Oh no...was that a notification? She was scared to see who it was from, but soon she read it and was glad to know it was from Mela. Ruka smiled lightly as she read the text, replying back and letting Mela know that she was feeling much better too....much much better yet full of regret. Unlike Mela, Ruka spent her remaining time just sitting in her room, contemplating on how best to approach this issue. Okay so she was planning on digging up a hole and hoping to just live in there, only coming out to cook food for Mela and that was it. Shaking her head, Ruka deemed that to be impossible as she realized she'll just have to do what she's always been doing when faced with problems. Face it.

With that in mind, Ruka went out and met up with Mela as the two headed off to U.A. Ruka told Mela that everything went fine and that she survived. She passed off that Bakugou actually showed up and brought her the papers, not wanting Mela to get any ideas with Todoroki, plus it was less likely for Mela to go and approach Bakugou. She was certain the blonde would give zero concern nor even refute whatever Mela may say to him. He was just that kind of guy and at times like these was when Ruka can appreciate their odd friendship. As they arrived at U.A. Ruka was full of nerves as she wondered how best to approach the two. A wave and a smile? A greeting? Oh gosh, but she calls them both with a -kun now...surely some nosey classmate would notice that? Before she knew it, Ruka was sitting in her seat as the afternoon lessons began. All her worries flew out the window as she realized she had no time to prepare herself at all. She noticed how Mineta kept glancing her direction though Ruka did quite a good job at ignoring him.

Expecting to hear Aizawa just put her back to pair with Mineta, to Ruka's surprise it wasn't the dark-haired hero. No, it was Present Mic? And to make matters more concerning, Ruka's desk neighbor and friend, Todoroki was nowhere to be seen either. Ruka couldn't help but glance at his empty desk beside her, wondering what happened to him. A small gasp escaped Ruka as she wondered if she was so bad that he left U.A!? Did he move?! Somehow an irritable pang began to grow within her as her mind began to be filled with worry. Thankfully, Present Mic was understanding of her and Mela's recovering condition and has thus placed them to study during the afternoon lessons. She was thankful as she ignored Mineta's frustrated cries while Bakugou dragged the little grape off to training. She was certain it was quite one-sided.

Ruka nearly jumped when she heard Kaminari speak to them. Her eyes were wide as she looked over at him before she averted her gaze, "ah yeah..." she mumbled out as she didn't know what else to say or do. She still felt sorry to Kaminari and was certain that his distanced greeting was due to that. Ruka bit her lower lip as she cast her face downward. She was certain the two would not want to associate with her any longer. As Ruka was finished studying, she packed her bags and was ready to leave school and head down to buy some groceries. She already spoke to Mela and it seemed like her friend was busy herself. Ruka gave Mela a small smile as she promised to cook a wonderful dinner in apology for getting her sick. As Ruka was packing her bag, a sudden shadow fell over her form. Looking up, Ruka was surprised to see Bakugou glaring down at her. She lifted a brow back at him and he simply shoved a folder towards her before storming off. Huh? What was that all about? Curious, she opened the folder to find a copy of the class notes for today and was that an address...? But of who...? It then dawned on Ruka that the only person absent today was Todoroki and Aizawa. Ruka glanced at the retreating figure of Bakugou before smiling, she'll have to thank the porcupine.

As she walked home, Ruka shopped at the grocery store, leaving with many bags in her arms. She arrived home where she began to cook up a storm. Her hair was tied up in a messy bun as she began to cook some vegetable soup and some porridge as well. She then made some miso soup and also made Mela's favorite dinner. Once finished with all the cooking, Ruka packed everything but Mela's into containers and was soon on her way out the door. She changed from her uniform and was wearing soft cotton white shorts and a navy sweater over it. Bag with various food and other things ranging from a book and notes in one hand and the address in her GPS, Ruka made her way towards Shoto's house. She was nervous and was not ready at all to face him...but she must. She felt bad and knew he was probably sick because of her.

As she came to a stop in front of a very large and traditional looking house, Ruka stared up at it with wide eyes. This is his home? It looked almost like some palace or a...prison. Her eyes looked off into the distance as she knew Shoto wasn't on the best of terms with his family. Hopefully, he was fine and was being taken care of...? Knowing she can't do anything by just standing around, Ruka walked forward and rang the bell, fiddling with the bag in hand as she wondered if he was sleeping. As the door opened, Ruka looked up and greeted Shoto with a soft smile, a small blush gracing her cheeks as the image of her and Shoto cuddling came to mind, not now Ruka! "G-good afternoon Sho-Todoroki-kun! Um...sorry to impose on you, but I heard you weren't feeling well and...I'm sorry...it's my fault, isn't it?" At the end of her long-winded speech where she nearly called him by his name, Ruka has ended with her apologizing as a look of worry and guilt crossed her face.
