Personality: Sloane is very high strung and a perfectionist. She cares a lot about her image and the way her life will play out. She likes everything to go her way, and can be extremely bossy. She comes across as a control freak but she just wants things to run smoothly (even if they dont have to do with her.) She can be selfless and very empathetic, but at the end of the day her main priority is herself.

History: In high school, Sloane was on the cheerleading team, head of many clubs and was very into her school work. She worked extremely hard to maintain a high average, while having a huge social group. She campaigned heavily to be prom queen, because she knew it would do wonders for her image. She didn't let any of her extracurriculars interfere with her studies, and was always looking for extra credit. After highschool she started to work for a quaint little flower shop while going to school to become a nurse.

Relations: Sloane dated the jock all throughout highschool, perpetuating the stereotype that they should be together. She never really focussed on him as much as school, mostly using him to climb the social ladder.

Personality: Steve is the definitive tough guy. He's exceptionally calm. He seldom cries. He is extremely brave and knows no fear. He has an iron stomach and gory movies, unless extreme, don't bother him the way they do others. He has a short fuse and any attempt to beat him up tends to become a knock-down drag-out affair. That said, he's not someone who goes out looking for a fight; still, he's not going to just stand there and let you hurt him. He's generally a friendly guy, but not so much that he'll let you bully him, or anyone else for that matter; in fact, bullying is one of the things he hates with a passion. He is also highly intelligent, so to some rather surprisingly, he has the brain to match the brawn. He won't answer questions he considers "stupid." When someone tries to argue with Steve, he doesn't; he just ends it.
History: Steve has always been the way he is, even before high school. When he was five years old, he had to fight three bullies who, having deemed him a pushover and a "dumb blond," ganged up on him in the schoolyard - every day. When Steve knocked the wind out of the leader, they finally left him alone. At the same age, he could be seen watching gory movies like Akira, RoboCop, and Total Recall as well as "scary" movies like The Silence of the Lambs without batting an eye. He was usually done with classwork long before everyone else.
These traits continued to be the norm for Steve throughout middle and high school. He'd often come in to (rather forcibly) stop the school bully and his grades continued to soar. At 17, he started dating the "bitch" Rebekah, which most (including his parents and two-months-younger sister) who knew him at the time found surprising. Steve was never around to see her bully anyone at the time, so when his best friend at the time, Ben Tuthill, told him what she was like when Steve wasn't around, which Ben had actually heard from his own girlfriend, Steve said, "Ah, she's not like that. Anna probably just misread that and Rebekah probably didn't even mean it that way." It was said that he should play football because of his size, so Steve went ahead and tried it. He played all of one game before being kicked off the team when he beat up an opposing team-member who was attempting to tackle him. It didn't really matter to Steve; after that experience, he realized he liked watching the game more than playing it. When high school ended, Steve entered police academy and he's been on the force for four years. About a year ago, the then-chief of police, who'd just turned 70, was retiring and decided he wanted Steve to take his place, noting that he was "the best cop on this force" and lightning-fast with a gun. He accepted, of course -he'd have to be a fool not to- but he hasn't let it go to his head and he still considers himself a cop first and a chief second. Depending on the situation, he comes in with an iron fist and quickly breaks up whatever trouble should stir up. Lately, he's become aware of his girlfriend's true nature and he doesn't like the guilt-tripping, the bullying or the complaining one bit. He often puts his headset on and tunes her out, whether it be through watching a DVD or Blu-ray on his laptop or listening to music on his phone.
Relations: In a relationship with the "bitch," or "bastard" as he's dubbed her (in his head) in recent months, Rebekah and consistently clashes with her bullying/guilt-tripping/complaining ways now that he's become aware of them.
