This world is the same as our own up until 2018 when an alliance was drawn up between Russia, China, and Iran. Creating a unified Economy the thres managed to build technology rivaling the western world. Russia developed hypersonic warheads and transport ships which they used to bring death and war to every side of Europe.
Meanwhile Russia and China focused the bulk of their forces on a full scale invasion of the east coast of the united states. It was a grisely battle, much of the coast was lost however florida and new york prooved night untakable as the american southern states bolstered florida, and Canada joined in on behalf of the battle of New york.
It wasnt until 2021 with Europe and america busy with wars on their own front that isreal was dragged into the conflict by a massive nuclear strike from iran. However the tiny Nation had her own top secret project. The Omega Project. Which turned 3 of the Idf's best troops into something more. One of those supermen used a satillite dish to hack the lead missile and turn it on the others that were launched. She steered it high into the air and detonated it creating an emp which shut down the rest of the missiles causing the rockets to rain down in Iraq without detonating. With These three supermen leading the wests war efforts they managed to wage a 27 year long war and overcome the eastern alliance. It became exceedingly difficult when china's A.I took over the alliance. Even still a mournful victory came with greater cost than any had anticipated. 3.46 billion people lost their lives in the conflicts roughly 45% of the worlds population.
The Aftermath
in the end the world was shook by the massive amount of death, close to half of the world had perished, literally everyone on the earth had lost someone. Entire countries had become graveyards, volcanoes, islands, hell even the ocean itself was used as a weapon in this conflict. Borders of nations were redrawn and the mentality of the entire world shifted towards peace...well almost the entire world. In the minds of government leaders around the world a new arms race had begun. in 2052 america had finished the vast majority of rebuilding, and was granted newfound wealth as Yellowstones intentional detonation by their enemies revealed massive amounts of tungsten, titainium, aluminum, Iron, gold, and silver, not to mention vast stores of Petroleum and Natural gas. As such when the 3 minds responaible for the omega project went looking for a new base of operations, the rapid growth made the state of colorado in the United states the perfect choice. The U.S & Isreals continued alliance and support from Europe lead to the Alpha project. A massively destabilizing project as most other nations were focused on rebuilding damaged infrastructure, crippled economies that couldnt afford military spending without unity watched in terror as the allies formed the first superhuman building project.

Now in the year 2077, after 25 years and 25 superhuman soldiers developed the Alpha project has more funding than ever before as more nations pour money into the project in order to gain access to the protection they offer. They have proven indomitable, uprooting terrorist organizations in weeks rather than years, brokering peace when they could, winning wars when they had too. However the death of Doctor Illiel, and the apparent retirement of Dr.Amiko left the morally reprehensible Dr. Atori in charge of the project. Yet hopes are high that he is just the kind of man they need as rumors of other nations developing their own superhuman projects. Now begins the superhuman arms race, which has The Alpha's being treated like celebrities as their nations show their dominance in the race by Parading their superhumans throughout the media havung them act as both heroes and military assets. At the very least their lives havent been boring. Someone once said War never changes...clearly they hadnt been to the right Warzones.
