The year is 2023. War has changed. Another war in the Middle East broke out after ISIS affiliated terrorist smuggled a bomb into the UN buildimg during a summit, killing over 50 diplomats and injuring even more. The world was set on fire, NATO launching a full scale war on ISIS related nations. During this chaos, ISIS finally united, forming the Coalition of Middle Eastern Countries, or "CMEC." (It was Nations instead of Countries, but that spelled CMEN.) NATO sent all of their troops right into the heart of CMEC: Iraw, Afghanistan, Sudan, Syria, the like, and promptly stretched themselves thin. There were simply not enough soldiers to deal with all of CMEC. A solution was needed. A solution that was solved with the Soldier of Fortune act. In it, PMCs could register with NATO, and receive full compensation for their efforts. They would be treated as normal soldiers, get paid the same, and have amnesty from any past crimes. It was perfect. Perfect for the Black Dogs.
The Black Dogs were originally two separate mercenary companies: the U.S. and Europe based Mad Dogs, and the Russian based Black Ravens. The two merged during the Middle Eastern conflicts in the early 2000's, and we're renowned for their skill. They had the best troops, the best pay, and the best weapons. They did have rules, though. They don't kill civilians, don't do political assassinations, and don't deal in flesh or drugs. Those simple rules guided them through the years, and are what have kept them going for so long. Now, they had the perfect way to make money. They make Blackwater look small by comparison, with NATO sealing a contract that lasts until the war is over. Which is perfect for them. They are War Dogs, after all.
Hi! So, this is of course a military RP focusing on a PMC group known as the Black Dogs. Your character can be from anywhere, and there is no restriction on gender. Only that they're at least 18 years old, and they don't bother anyone with any...problems (i.e. men and women "things.") Operators are expected to care for and purchase their own weapons, though weapons are provided if they do not have any of their own. Anyone interested in?
