(I'll post Maeve's character sheet in one post as an example of sorts, then Christine's and Robin's in the next, though their post will probably be more vague just to keep some sense of mystery to them! Also as a reminder, you can have up to three characters if having more than one is something you'd like to do, but try to keep track of them!)

Name: Maeve Caddel

Nicknames: Mae

Age: 17

Height: 5'6"

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Bisexual

Appearance: Maeve has shoulder-length, pale blue hair. Her fringe is pinned back with a daisy hairclip. Her eyes are a goldish-brown color. She is usually seen in St. Parousia's female students' uniform -- a white dress shirt, light gray blazer with a purple bow pinned to the front, and a dark gray pleated skirt to top it all off. Outside of school, Maeve tends to wear more casual, simple clothing consisting of a white t-shirt with shorts complete with sandals. Maeve also often wears bracelets to school, which ones she wears usually being random or whichever one she likes best that day.

Personality: Maeve is a headstrong, but carefree girl who tends to come up with her own ideas for what she wants her and her friends to do that day. Her mind never seems to run out of fuel as she always has some fun thing she really wants to try, something that hadn't really changed since she was a child. Often putting off her own studies, Maeve prioritizes her own fun over a lot of things, mostly due to past experiences.

In spite of this, Maeve can be affectionate with her friends by throwing her arm around them or punching their shoulder (lovingly). She's the kind of person to buy someone something just because it reminded her of them, something she has done at least once before. She doesn't like to see her friends sad and would blurt out the most random things in an attempt to cheer them up.

Upon waking up in St. Parousia's old copycat building, she initially views it as some really elaborate prank. At least one of the kids at school surely had the money to do something like this. This mindset doesn't last too long though, and once she's realized the situation their in, Maeve declares her newest idea of the day, something she had been thinking about since her grandmother mentioned the murders of 1972: to figure out what exactly happened all those years ago. But even if she says that, she still finds her body freezing up every time she sees those creepy ghosts, and her hands shake ever so slightly.

Backstory: Since she was little, Maeve has had no problem gathering up the other kids in the neighborhood and telling them what it was they'd play that day. The outdoors was where Maeve spent a good majority of her time, much to her mother's dismay since every single time, without fail, Maeve would come back dirtier than when she'd left. In an attempt to wrangle Maeve into being what she wanted, her mother had Maeve transferred to St. Parousia's middle school in the hope that it would do her "some good".

Immediately, Maeve hated it. The school felt so restricting and it was like she wasn't allowed to do anything. Every kid looked so bored and it made Maeve wonder if these kids even knew what fun was. No matter how much she pleaded, her mother wouldn't budge on letting her go back to her old school, and so time ticked by with Maeve now spending more of her time studying, which maybe wouldn't be such a bad thing if it wasn't the only thing she did. The school placed such a great importance on grades and studying that it began to feel like Maeve's whole world would crumble if she slipped even once.

But then Maeve entered high school and it felt like something in her snapped. What was she even doing? Her life didn't have to be like this. She didn't want her life to just be nonstop studying with no break. She had felt so tired, and it was then that she made the decision to connect back with her old self that she had left behind. Throughout her time in high school, Maeve would often make lists of things she wanted to do the most. Some of the things of these lists would land her in the principal's office or getting a scolding from a teacher, but Maeve hadn't felt herself having this much fun in quite some time. For her final year in high school, she had been looking for something really wild to do and it was like her grandmother had placed it right into her hands. Trying to solve a bunch of murders was a little out of her zone, but in truth it wasn't like she had expected to find anything.

Fears: Losing her friends, not being in control

Extra: Maeve's family is pretty well off. They aren't as rich as some of the other kid's families at St. Parousia, but they aren't low on money by any means.

Name: Jordison Puri

Nicknames: Jordi

Age: 16 years old

Height: Jordi is 4'11", but will swear that he is 5'1"

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Appearance:

Jordi is a skinnier lad, standing shorter than most others around his age. He is American Indian, his parents being from India themselves. As such, his skin is a bit darker, but what one would expect from a person of Indian descent. He has shorter features in the face. Some might mistake him for a girl if it wasn't for the way he dresses. He keeps his long black hair, that his mother refuses to have cut, in a ponytail. He has a bit of muscle, but he does not seem to have much hope when it comes to excelling in sports or other physical activities. Jordi usually wears baggier clothes to hide the fact that he is not very strong, often forgetting that he is shorter than most people, so it doesn't really matter anyways.

Personality:

Jordi is the kind of person that likes to play it cool, but is quick to let that already shaky façade crumble the second he encounters something that he is afraid of or something that intimidates him. The cool and laid back Jordi suddenly becomes the equal to Shaggy, the cartoon character, shaking and looking around for anything out of the ordinary, just to get scared from it. It is rather self destructive at times. Jordi has a secret love for all that would be considered nerdy, not often participating in such activities in public due to his belief that being seen as anything less than a short wannabe will make him prime real estate for bullies all over St. Parousia.

When he is with friends, he knows he can let the cool act drop a little. Though he still tries to play it cool, he is not as wound up and tense as he usually is. A secret also known by a lot of those close to him is that he can get flustered pretty easily! He is usually teased when he stares at a girl he suddenly has a new and spontaneous crush on, but his luck is always pretty low when it comes to getting a girlfriend, so he has learned never to act on his hopes.

Backstory:

Jordi grew up smaller than everyone. He always seemed to be talked down to more often than he can remember. The last to be picked when it came to sports, activities, even friends. While the whole world seemed to have this image of him in mind, he could never quite see what the others saw. His mother was always on him. He was nearly convinced once or twice by her that he was like the daughter she never had. It's then that he realized just why the boys at his own school seemed to have such an idea when they told Jordi that they had a crush on him. It's because they saw what his mother had made him. A small and helpless girl.

"No more!" he would tell himself. Once he started middleschool, he fought against his mothers vision of him. He was what one would consider a "troublesome child." Not too aggressive, but always doing something to keep people at a distance, whether it was a new piercing or putting a glare on his face all day. His plan worked for the most part. He was not seen as a girl by most of his fellow classmates. No longer pushed around by the lovesick puppies that accused him of stealing their significant other. His mother did not take his rebellion against her very well though. If she could not have the daughter she always wanted in him, then he would need to be straightened out and put in his place.

Sent to St. Parousia, he was forced from wearing his piercings and all of the vices he used to keep others away, but that didn't seem to become a problem as it did in all of the other schools he was in originally. No, these other students were all kept in their own little worlds, not all too bothered by what a new student looks like. Just another student that was forced into this state of being. With time he made friends and appreciated those friends, not having to worry

Fears:

Most things that are conceived as supernatural scare Jordi. He also has a fear of insects and the deep oceans, just to name a few. Most things frighten the young man, and it is difficult for him to pull himself together when he encounters these things. Though when he can sense that he is in true danger, then his mind immediately flicks into flight mode, seeking the quickest way out of a situation.

Name: Jude Monroe

Nickname: Judas

Age: 18

Height: 6'5

Gender: Male

Sexuality: Gay

Appearance: Jude was a good looking boy when he was alive, even with his pale skin. However now, his death certainly took its toll. He has fiery red hair that's blackened at the tips with soot, patches of it missing, burned off. His cheeks are severely burned, leaving the teeth exposed on both sides. Melted skin connects the two holes together like stitches. His school uniform is burned, black and holes all over. He still wears it the same as he did when he was alive, tie loosened and three shirt buttons undone with the collar popped and shirt untucked. One of his hands is basically bones, the skin melted off and bubbling. His shirt and jumper have been burned, exposing his ribs on his left side. His eyes are a strikingly bright green and somehow survived the fire.

Personality: Jude is a hot-headed and angry soul. He was always short tempered when he was alive but this has been amplified tenfold now. There are very few things he feels other than rage. His tragic end has left him reeling, traumatized and afraid to admit that he is. When he is somewhat calm, he's mischievous, loving to mess with and scare people. He does have a soft side to him but his own stubbornness prevents that from coming out. He's also flirtatious with any boy who happens to show him some attitude.

Backstory: Jude earning the nickname Judas certainly must've meant something in a Christian school. He engaged in decidedly non-christian behaviours throughout his time there. His nickname was earned through his manipulation and backstabbing of those he grew close to in order to get what he wanted.

He became known as the sort of school bully but he did have a soft side to him. He was openly gay at a time where is wasn't exactly the most accepted. He was actually moved from a posh all boys school by his parents because they thought that his sexuality was caused by his lack of interaction with girls. All of the gum stuck in girl's hair, pulled ponytails and spreading rumours about the girls in St. Parousia decidedly put an end to that theory. He never held down a boyfriend for more than a few months. Mainly because he was...well, a prick.

He still had a large group of friends, troublemakers, the lot of them. They messed in class and caused a racket. Normal teenage kids.

His death was the second to last of all the killings and one of the most gruesome. His half charred, melted remains were found in the boiler after problems with the heating occurred. Reportedly a few officers who attended the crime scene threw up and others were completely inconsolable.

Fears: The basement of the school, someone seeing just how grief stricken he really is.

Cause of death: Thrown into the school's boiler in the basement, burning alive.

Spirit Color: Red

Power: Fire breathing. He was a smoker. Even in spirit form, he has to take an inhale of his cigarette before he can blow fire. His cigarette never burns out and is almost an extension of his body. The drawback to this is that if he uses his fire too frequently, he begins to tire out and have coughing fits.

Extra: He came from money, his family being extremely wealthy, though not through honest means. His father was a conman who cheated business men out of their money.

Name: Kiran Wright

Nicknames: none

Age: 17

Height: 5'9

Gender: Trans male

Sexuality: Pansexual

Appearance: Kiran is slightly thicker than your average student. A combination of both fat and muscle which he would say is mostly the latter. He is very much shaped like a wall. He slouches when he stands and mostly keeps his hands in his pockets. Slightly tan with dark brown hair which he keeps in a short crew cut. A small bit of stubble grows on his chin and sideburns which he adamantly refuses to shave. He has grayish eyes that most often look tired. He wears the St. Parousia male uniform which is kept neat except for the tie which he has never managed to keep straight. Outside of school, he wears typically baggy clothing like sweatshirts and cargo shorts.

Personality: Kiran can be somewhat snarky and sarcastic. He doesn't take things very seriously and is very much go-with-the-flow. He has the tendency to space out and get lost in his own head. He can become very defensive if someone challenges or questions his 'manliness' and has gotten into fights over it in the past. He'd never admit it but he's actually very anxious about what other people think of him.

Backstory: When you come from a traditional family they have certain expectations for you. So far Kiran hasn't quite been meeting that standard, despite his best attempts. They wanted a daughter who would take up dance as his mother did, sing in the choir at church, and get straight As. That is simply not who Kiran is.

Kiran came out to his parents at around 12. It was a somewhat turbulent year that found him in therapy at his parent's decision to help figure out whatever was 'wrong' with him. But thankfully the therapist knew what they were doing and aided Kiran's parents into doing research and helping them understand their son's needs. But having an understanding family doesn't mean that things are automatically easier. There has been the occasional dust-up between Kiran and other students when someone tries to bully him about his identity but he usually tries to stay low and brush it off like it doesn't bother him. Kiran isn't involved in any sports but works out almost religiously, partially to help his dysphoria and also because he doesn't want to look like a pushover.

Kiran has been going to St. Parousia for most of his school life. His parents went there, his grandparents went there and so he is also expected to be enrolled there. Kiran is someone who moves between friend groups. Usually only being around those who don't give him a hard time.

Fears:
Being hated by others, Dolls, and accidentally hurting someone he cares about.

Extra: Kiran comes from a moderately wealthy family. His Mother is a Surgeon and his father is a pilot. He doesn't get to actually see them often due to their long and work hours. He started hormone therapy when he was 16.

Name: Christine Allan

Nicknames: Chris

Age: 15

Height: 5'4"

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: Christine wears the St. Parousia's female students' uniform, except now it appears to be ragged and stained with blood, with visible stab wounds on her stomach. Where her right eye should be, there is now a hole where blood appears to have come out of it. There are marks around her wrists and ankles that appeared to have been caused by rope repeatedly rubbing up against her skin, though the ones around her wrists are more noticeable. She has long, black hair tied into two braids and her remaining eye is a dark purple. As a ghost, Christine is transparent and her spirit is colored red.

Personality: A lot of newspapers had mentioned just how loyal of a friend Christine had been, as this fact seemed to come up a lot when asking her friends to say something about her. Despite coming off as aloof and like she could care less, Christine really did have a heart of gold and she would always come if a friend needed her.

Now as a ghost roaming the building's halls, Christine is merciless. She goes after any living person she comes across, the many years she spent in this building causing her to slowly become envious of those who got to grow up and experience things she did not as a result of her life coming to a violent end. Despite having the power of possession, she hardly makes use of it unless in a situation that calls for it. Instead, she utilizes her own agility and endurance, having always been great at running and was the gym teacher's favorite student.

Backstory: Christine was quite popular in her class and hung around those who were equally just as popular. She often acted like she didn't care much about anything, but on the inside she often battled these feelings of uncertainty and hesitation. But in the end, these feelings hadn't amounted to anything and Christine still only watched on as a bystander, never acting when perhaps she should have.

Fears: Not being able to see anything out of her remaining eye, not being able to move her limbs

Cause of death: Stabbed multiple times in the abdomen, right eye forcefully removed; ultimately bled out

Spirit Color: Red

Power: Possession. This is something that can be fought off, and Christine will be forced out if overpowered by the host. To stay in control of the host, she has to concentrate heavily, which takes a lot out of her and tires her out. Which is why she doesn't use it too much, as it's pretty annoying. She'd rather have something easier.

Extra: Christine wasn't much of a religious person. This was disappointing to her father who was a pastor.

____

Name: Robin Moore

Age: 16

Height: 5'2"

Gender: Female

Sexuality: Straight

Appearance: The first thing to note about Robin is that her chin-length, white as snow hair often covers her eyes. But even though her eyes aren't often seen, her bright blue eyes often seem to show themselves in serious moments. Robin wears St. Parousia's female uniform, the blazer having blood spattered all over the front of it as a result of the stab wounds to her throat. Blood covers her throat, and you can usually tell when she's around from the gurgling sound that impedes her ability to speak. Robin doesn't wear any shoes and the only thing that covers her feet are white knee-high socks. As a ghost, Robin is transparent and her spirit is colored green.

Personality: Robin has the courage of a little mouse. She never spoke very loud, always seemed to sit at the back of the class, and overall had a rather forgettable existence. Having always lived the life of a wallflower, Robin had trouble making friends and could never hold conversations for long, and often snuck down to the school's basement when she wanted to get away from everything.

Even as a ghost, Robin is very rarely seen. She usually keeps to herself in rooms where there isn't anyone around and seems keen on staying far away from the other ghosts.

Backstory: Even though it was easy for people to kind of forget Robin was there, she wasn't so forgettable so as to evade the radar of some of the meaner kids. Having silently endured their cruel treatment for so long, it was quite easy for investigators to connect that to the reason she had committed suicide.

Though Robin had tried to reach out for help, on more than one occasion even. She turned to any person she could think of and tried to make use of her voice for once. But it didn't do very much, and she was either brushed off or ignored. Perhaps it was those events that had driven her to the edge.

Fears: Someone being behind her, pain, worrying her mother

Cause of death: Stabbed in the throat numerous time with a knife; bled out

Spirit Color: Green

Power: Portal Creation. Even if this is something that should sound strong, Robin's portals are rather weak and only really have enough power in them to only allow one person in, as well as only being able to go a short distance. However -- it's rare and only happens once every couple years (or more), but occasionally Robin is capable of creating a portal that has more strength to it than her regular ones, allowing her to lengthen her distances to where she can go, and letting her take in more people other than herself. Doing all this severely weakens her though, so much so she'll be unable to move for quite a while, as she hardly feels like she can stand.

Extra: Robin had wanted to be a doctor when she grew up, and sometimes she studied the human body as she found it quite interesting.
