Violet
The search so far|| A New Beginning

The ship's horn blared, immediately forcing the redhead's eyes open. Her pink eyes drooped as she slowly rose from her bed, and flipped the sheets off of her. She then got out of the bed to pat herself down, checking to make sure everything was on her. Her Phone, pokeball belt, and ID was there, but where was her backpack?
She looked to the entrance to her room and saw it hanging. On the hooked stand next to it was her school jacket and neck tie.

She remembered what happened before she got on this boat. At Uva Academy, even though she passed each class with flying colors, her one assignment she had yet to finish, given to her by the school's headmaster, she struggled to find the treasure she felt was important to her. She told her friends, Penny and Arven, along with her rival Nemona, that she'd be going on a journey and may not return for a good while. She said goodbye to her mother at home, before leaving, and even visited some of the gym leaders to catch up on old times, all before going to the port city of Levnica.

As she boarded the ship, she saw something flying in the distance. It wasn't a person, and it didn't seem like a familiar pokemon. Something told her this was a signal for something huge.
It took several days to reach the island she decided to check out, and during the several stops before reaching Viola Bay, she spent time looking at her phone and replying to friend messages.

And now the day is here. Violet stood at the doorway of the ship's main entrance, and she slowly made her way down. She was excited to meet new people and pokemon, and maybe, just maybe, find her treasure.....

She could see someone waiting for her, two someone actually. They seemed to be the local greeters for this island, but one of those two people definitely was a professor, based on the lab coat she wore.

Hawk and Friends

The sound, which could only come from a dangerous beast, was unmistakable, taking a single leap above the ground, the red-haired youth stood up and in a sleepy state the boy got into a fighting stance, stood on a He stood up and hoped that the dangerous beast was ready to attack him, a few seconds passed until the young man realized that he was in a strange room, slowly his mind put everything in order, and he would remember what that 'Roar' was about. The ship's horn. Somewhat confused, he turned to see his bed, realizing that his 3 companions were sleeping in that one, he observed with a stupid grimace on his face, he had just woken up, he could barely think clearly, it took him a while to realize that apparently at some point he had fallen out of bed. After a couple of minutes arguing with his companions, Hawks would rush out of the ship, jump straight to the ground, and start kissing him on all fours while he said:

- Thank goodness! Land!

After that particular scene, the young man stood up, and it was then that he noticed the presence of 2 people nearby, he observed with some curiosity and a smile from ear to ear, so together with his companions he proceeded to approach

Unlike its partner, the Emanation Pokémon went down more normally accompanied by Deino who was carrying the Pokémon egg on his back, inside his incubator. Concluded his descent, the young Pokémon observed his trainer with determined curiosity, noticing how his trainer kept his gaze fixed on a location while advancing directly, seeing better he could notice the presence of 2 humans, even though it could be something of little importance, as they were likely to be a tour guide, Riolu's attention shot to the pink-haired woman, mainly because of her white coat, which often signifies a status as a scientist or a teacher, so Riolu hurried a little more. He walked past, directing all his attention towards the young lady, for his words were likely to be of use during his investigation of the place.

For some reason, people didn't like having to hear a loud musical instrument on a crowded boat at night. Not even a little harmonica, as a treat. So Lilith couldn't do her job. Furthermore, the almighty algorithm would only accept so many offerings of pictures of water. That dopamine rush from seeing the digital numbers rise? Nothing but a few diehards and dropping engagement. Lastly, boat. Therefore, seasickness—hey, someone was going to get it. Lilith's version of a busman's holiday currently had neither bus nor holiday. Only pain. And dwindling supplies of motion sickness medicine. Hopefully the island had tons, because all of it was getting bought up for her return trip.

But Arceus' (or Groudon's?) blessed lands had come over the horizon. As the island approached like a savior angel, Lilith, currently dressed in a plain monochrome set of white shirt, black pants, and gray jacket, saw it and its promise of salvation beckon from a distance. Having dug up her bags and come above deck early thanks to another bout of the aforementioned seasickness, she stood there, with a dose of panacea in her system and a reminder of why she had come onto this blasted boat. The view from this far off alone was almost worth it. Lilith bent down to her Sylveon, who was, as always, out of its Pokéball. Giving her Syl an absentminded pat on the head, she rose back up to fish out one of the scant few treats she had for it left. The short woman gave Sylvie another few pats as she nibbled at the puff.

The ship's horn blasted. Startled from her admiration of nature and her precious Pokémon, Lilith dropped the crumbs of the snack she was holding and her sunglasses. Sylveon lunged after the fallen food. Her trainer looked up to find that the island was now the entire view. Beckoning her companion with some...uh, talking to a pet noises and grabbing her precious specs, the duo clambered down to the ship's exit.

"Praise be to the creator," Lilith mumbled as her sneakers came into contact with solid land for the first time. Paved though it was, it was the closest she had been to dirt in...how long was that boat ride? Years? Felt like it.

She looked up from the beautiful ground and saw a gathering of people. Two kids, one person who could be a kid or an adult, and an adult. Probably the greeters? Didn't look like a family, couldn't hurt too much to check.

With a previously exhausted but now energized stride, Lilith strolled over to the group, sunglasses tipped back onto her forehead and Sylveon in tow. "Hey. What's this about?"

Kayson Platinum
Viola Bay was certainly still a foreign place to Kayson, despite having been in the area for a few weeks now he was still learning more about the locals and the region itself. He had finally pulled himself away from the places that could be considered "Tourist Traps", but ever since then his efforts in learning more had hit a plateau to say the least. The young man thought the day would be another day of fruitless search until his phone went off with a reminder. "Rotototo! Remember Kayson, you have to head to the docks today for the meeting you were invited to!" Blinking a few times before the reminder finally had done it's job and... reminded him, Kay would pull out a small notebook while scratching his head.

"Are you sure Roto? I don't have any notes about going to the docks today... did I ask you to keep any info?" Asking his electronic companion, the young trainer waited as the Rotom-Dex searched through it's files for a few moments before an 'X' displayed on the screen. "Nope! But you should get moving anyway! Who knows, maybe you'll actually learn something from these people instead of walking around aimlessly like a fool again!" As much as he wanted to, Kay would sigh and accept the fact that he actually needed to start doing something instead of pointless wandering. So the trainer would prepare himself for whatever the day had prepared for him by getting into some proper clothing instead of his pajamas, and grabbing his bag of gear. With that and some other menial tasks the young man was out the door.

"Alright... Metal, Volt, let's get moving!" Taking out a Dusk Ball and Quick Ball, Kayson threw them out to release two of his Pokémon. A Scizor and Jolteon would come out of the two balls with a confident cheer, ready for another day in the bay. The three would grin and laugh a bit before starting to run towards the docks, while it seemed like a race between the boy and two Pokémon it was clear that Volt would win easily. And just like most would predict, Volt would place first, followed by Kayson and then Metal but all of them seemed to be out of breath afterwards, a hard fought competition.

"You all... forgot... ME!!!" The Rotom-Dex then finally caught up with the trio, seemingly out of breath despite floating above the ground instead of actually running like the others had. "My bad Roto. But lets pull ourselves together, okay? The group is right over there it seems..." Pointing over to the forming group on the docks, Kay would look at Roto with pleading eyes before the Dex let out a sigh-like noise before displaying an 'Ok' emoji on it's screen. Not bothering to have his Pokémon return to their balls, the four made their way down to the group and silently merged with the larger part that seemed to be facing the two giving out the info.
