Keep Moving Forward

Long ago, the universe was forged by the Creators, gifted with primordial powers and immortality. They have called this the Gestalt, united by multiple realms. In the Chorus Realm lays the world of Tellus. Throughout all of Tellus, there is a war between Heroes and Villains that will change the Gestalt for better or worse. A servant by the name of Gargon Rutherman has arranged a meeting in the Red Spire that will decide the war between the Eternal Alliance and the New Order. Your first destination after the Red Spire will lay in Titantown, a Neutral Zone between Heroes and Villains in order to retrieve a very powerful tool called the Aurora Ascendant.

Welcome to the world of Tellus, the main home of the Humans and the centerpiece of conflict between the forces of Good and Evil. You will take control as a member of the Eternal Alliance, an organization that settles disputes between the dark overlords and its crusade against the New Order. This game focuses on an evil campaign and thus encourages you to create your own ambitions behind the scenes and take advantage of the situation. Your background and reputation will determine how NPCs will react to your villain protagonist and create new interactions for everybody involved. Because of the diverse realms and its unique cultures, genres such as sci fi-like, horror, or fantasy are allowed. But be warned, as the story plays out heroes will arrive and serve as direct opponents to the Eternal Alliance.

And always remember... IT'S NEVER TOO LATE TO JOIN!

Lore

Tellus Beta.png
The year is 3008, The Age of Reclamation. The continent of Akitolia contains the Lords of the Nine, rulers who have traced their ancestry for thousands of years. When the Eternal Emperor and the Empress invaded the continent, the kingdoms made a pact and called the New Order for help. Armies fought for survival and resulted in total destruction of the land and citizens. This was known as the War of the Emperor. The New Order’s bravest heroes had slain the Emperor and fractured the alliance, resulting in the end of the war, bringing victory to Akitolia. Now centuries has passed, the influence of the Eternal Alliance waning as the New Order consolidates its power across Atkitolia. The Overlords have laid dormant, waiting to strike at the right moment. But the world of Tellus is a changed one, as many civilizations have arrived, becoming a blended society. Because of the Gestalt’s unorthodox and changing nature, the world has experienced technological shifts throughout its realms never seen before. These recent inventions known as autorigs have started to take place in the inner cities, gunsmiths getting new work developing mag guns, and the waypoints throughout the world are still be used and maintained.

The Civilizations of Akitolia(as of now):
Kingdom of the Tusk led by King Orwick
Republic of Aristan led by Emperor Antonian
Mount Sovengard led by Ironhead Draken
Ridge on the Rye led by Ampherites
The Holy Nation led by Archpriestess Naera
The Land of Sand led by Neter-Khan Omun Tumas
The Golden Sunin led by Set Kei Zan
Bathylonia Isles led by Archon Raegel
The Shadow Hills led by Warlord Magatha

Races
Race Selection.png
Humans - Natives of Tellus, these Humans have learned to adapt and carve their own states through all of the continents. Several groups have learned to harness the wonders of magic.

Elves - Elves are divided between Wood, High and Dark Elves. It is believed that the progenitor of the species had three distinct bloodlines that led to up to the three subgroups. They possess blood seen as divine and are worshiped by the peasants as high as an immortal. A new subgroup known as the Half-Elves sprang, appearing in cities and towns where they employ their services as politicians and artisans.

The Rogol - No one knows where the true origin of the Rogol came from, but their expertise in technology and cyberware makes them oddities in Tellus. They are mechanical in nature and are seen as abominations of magic and science by the Holy Nation. However, many Rogol are seen working in the continent as maids, entrepreneurs and gunsmiths.

Chaos Demons - The Chaos Demons come from the Chaosrealm, where anarchy reigns and the only thrill is absolute freedom. They tend to make shady deals with any gullible sucker who’s desperate to earn a win. Despite their chaotic nature, some Chaos Demons can be seen siding with the New Order.

Crysslians - The Crysslians are an alien lifeform that claims to come beyond Tellus. No one knows how the Crysslians managed to make contact with the natives, but it seems they know a lot about its magic and possess a unique intellect compared to other races. Crysslians tend to carry magic crystals that powers advanced technology on Tellus, holding a large share of the market.

Orkin - The Orkin emerged from a realm ruled by the strongest and the most cunning. They come in all colors and sizes. The Orkin are usually categorized as the Primals, the Warborn, and the Civilized.

Ramalians - Coming from the swamps of Tellus, the Ramalians stick together and are huddled in tribes. They represent strength and unity as their land is constantly harassed by Humans of Tellus.

Undead - What is dead may never die. These dead individuals have managed to awaken and become the undead, returning to their past lives or perhaps decided a new goal in life. For a strange reason, some of these undead specialize in legal and illegal law.

Chimera - Magic and chemistry have led to many becoming abominations of science, frightening and horrific to their genetic DNA. The Chimera are seen wandering and hunting to preserve their lives, their reputation scorn by peasants.

Gameplay
Backcover.png
In this game, rather than dealing with HP and DMG, the system will be based on Morale and Six Attributes that could come in handy during narrative and combat scenarios. You will have one major skill and one minor to complement any of your skills. Your Level is based on how many points you can spend at the start. Since the villain protagonists in this game are more experienced, they will be at Level 9(Solid Professional), meaning 9 points to spend on your skills. All six could play a role through the narrative or even in combat. There will even be occasional auto skill checks for encounters.

Careful: Being careful is all about being patient, aiming down a gun or lockpicking a door.
Clever: Your mind is what allows you to think fast and solve problems. Whether it can persuade others to your cause, finding a weakness in an enemy’s swordsmanship, or fixing up weaponry.
Flashy: Flashy is all about style and appearance. It can be used to rouse allies through confident speeches, embarrass someone into submission or impressing someone..
Forceful: It’s all about brute strength and raw power. Fighting with your bare hands or a classic sword and shield.
Quick: You’ll be on your toes and acting fast. This will allow you to run past enemies, fight with dexterity or improvise plans on the go.
Sneaky: Sneaky relies on misdirection and stealth. Whether casting an illusion spell to trick enemies, pretending to play dead in a fight, or perhaps infiltrating a castle. Even sneaking in a stab while the enemy is distracted could work.

Combat scenarios will work similar to our other games: The GM will roll a 6 sided fudge die for attacks and defenses. A player posts their action and depending on how it’s described will be based on one of their attributes. A character who’s good with a bow will most likely roll for a Careful because they’re aiming to shoot. If they’re using the bow as a melee weapon then that will be based on a Forceful attribute. A character with a high Quick is likely to attack first on their side. A character who knows how to exploit an enemy’s weakness or trick them can lead to Clever. This encourages people to diversity how to tackle problems and gain an advantage against NPCs through narration and combat.

Every player character has two health bars: Morale and Wounds. Morale has six stress points that allows you to absorb hits. Wounds have Mild(2) Moderate(4) and Severe(6) to absorb hits also. However, the more Wounds you receive, the more your skills will decrease until the battle ends. If you lose all of your Morale and Wounds points, you are knocked out of battle until it has ended.
