About me:
-I’m a 32-year old guy from Germany. My English isn’t perfect by any means, but I’m doing my best. If you need a writing sample, feel free to ask! I’m usually very chill and try to communicate if I have a problem regarding our roleplay.
-I write around 150-600 words per character.
-I can usually reply about once or twice or week, sometimes more.
-I don’t write fandom characters.
About the story:
-like the title says, it should include vampires. I love vampire stories (although I will freely admit that most of the vampire literature I enjoy like ‚Heirs of the night‘ and ‚Cirque du Freak‘ are more aimed at children, ‚Vampire in the Garden‘ was also nice. Didn’t watch Castlevania yet, just a few episodes but the setting seems interesting). I would prefer a vaguely historic setting. It can include a (secret?) or more open society of vampires. Maybe there is a war going on. I am open to a lot of stuff; feel free to share your own ideas!
-we can discuss the abilities/what makes a vampire a vampire together. This should get a bit bloody and violent, though I’m not opposed to some comedic moments.
-it can include other creatures (like werewolves, witches…). Most characters should be humans or vampires though.
-I prefer platonic roleplays or roleplays about unrequited obsession. If romance plays a role, it should always be secondary to the main plot. I’m just not that much of a romantic I fear. In general, I feel like if characters really vibe with each other romance is not completely off the table (no matter if it's mxm or mxf, I rarely do fxf because most of my characters are not female). But if you absolutely need romance for a roleplay to be interesting, I might be the wrong writing partner for you.
-I’m not a combat-oriented roleplayer. Sorry.
About you:
-you should be a nice person who doesn’t get angry or insult people if a roleplay doesn’t work out
-if you decide to ghost me and leave the conversation, I will not contact you again or get angry. I would prefer a short word of goodbye (especially when it comes to roleplays that we wrote for months), but life happens.
-you should be queer friendly (yes, this includes trans/nonbinary people), not racist, all that stuff. I feel uncomfortable writing with people who would heavily dislike and judge my other friends. (Note: This doesn’t mean that you have to write queer characters or anything, but feel free to do so).
-I don’t care what age you are, but if you are minor please don’t talk too much about your private life with me, it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable.
About our characters:
-I prefer writing male characters, but I’m open to writing some female characters (or nonbinary).
-If you only want to write characters of a specific gender that is completely fine with me (as long as they have different personalities).
-I’m also pretty open when it comes to writing characters that have different age groups. Be it old men or young teenagers, it depends on their role in the story.
-It’s okay if you write one character against multiple of my characters. But I would prefer a writing partner who actually enjoys interacting with multiple characters.
-my characters often have unique personalities and are not necessarily attractive, they can sometimes be quite pathetic. I don’t really enjoy roleplays were every single character has to be a super athletic, good-looking superman.
-I’m not at all opposed to nice characters, but please make them have some kind of agency/motivation, give them some fears or goals and so on.
-absolutely no smut. And no, I will not change sites to include it.
-violence is fine. Tell me about your triggers if you have any.
-here are some character tropes I like to write: obsessed (fake) prophets, fanatic priests, henchmen, arrogant vampires, weirdos, characters who have a savior complex, manipulative characters, young princes who are not fit for their role, dedicated vampire hunters,…I like a lot of things.
-our characters can know each other beforehand (siblings, cousins, enemies, childhood friends who lost contact…)
-when it comes to face claims, I prefer descriptions for my characters (I feel like AI doesn’t really suit most of them, and I’m not confident in my art skills). Feel free to use whatever you like for your characters- anime, drawn images, actors, it’s all fine with me.
