This is the new Lore and XP thread.

The old thread is here.

House Rules
Max 3 dots of Generation.
You cannot get more dots from Flaws than you spend on Merits.
It is possible to stay awake during the day. This requires the expenditure of 2 points of Willpower, and until you have slept again, your dice pools are limited to to your Humanity or Path rating.
1s do not cancel successes. Having 1s in your dice pool and no successes at all still results in a botch.

Cleveland: Some information to help you survive its nights
Prince
: John Harrod, Ventrue. Has ruled Cleveland as long as anyone has cared about the city.
Prominent Kindred Jonathan Matthews, Nosferatu Primogen. Prince Harrod's staunchest supporter.
Elizabth Hooke, Toreador Primogen. According to rumour, one of the first vampires to have been Embraced in the New World.
Clayton Lee Baker, Tremere Primogen. A dusty old professor who couldn't possibly have ambitions of his own.
Gabriel Montgommery, Caitiff Anarch. A prominent voice in the Anarch community. Embraced following the 1919 May Day riots.
Thomas Sinclair, Ventrue Sheriff. A relatively young Kindred to be Sheriff, but a competent one.

Locations:
Terminal Tower, Downtown. Home of Cleveland's central railway station and Clan Ventrue's public offices.
Ambrosia, University Circle. An exclusive club, open only to members and their trusted Guests. Elysium.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Downtown. Home of Rock and Roll, claimed by Thomas Sinclair.
Cuyahoga Valley National Park. A large national park on southern edge of the city. Rumour says that a werefolf pack hangs out there. No one's too keen to check.
Cleveland Masonic Temple, Goodrich-Kirkland Park. The Masons aren't really the heirs of the Templars and the Inquisition. Really.
Recent History: Since the Camarilla lost Detroit to the Sabbat in the 60's, the Sword of Caine has been working to worm its way into Cleveland as well, both by subterfuge and force. In 2008, the Archbishop of Detroit vanished at the height of a new offensive that looked certain to be the doom of Cleveland. Whatever cut the head off the serpent, it took the wind out of the attackers, and Cleveland has known relative peace since then.
