Setting
​

This RP takes place in the bustling fictional city known as Starbright City. A bustling metropolis filled with all sorts of attractions, shady alleys and etc.

What is a Legend?​

A Legend is anything that isn't part of the spectrum of based Reality. This includes supernatural beings such as ghosts, dragons, golems and even vampires. UMA such as aliens and other creatures are included within this spectrum as well. Mythology is also included within this as well. A Legend, unlike humans, have supernatural powers such as pyrokinesis, clairvoyance and etc. Urban legends such as chain e-mails are also part of this spectrum as well. It is also important to note that non-living things can also be Legends (Ex: Weapons and other magical items). This also includes Historical Figures and other branded icons (i.e mascots).

What are Contracts?​

Humans are able to form Contracts, an act of communing and forming a connection with a Legend. Those that have made a successful Contract are able to borrow power from their respective Legend. Each ability a Contract user has depends on the Legend, the user's imagination, and their own innate power/energy.

Things to Note​

1. Contracts are derived from using one's own life-force. The longer a person uses their power, the more their energy will be taken. This can result in extreme fatigue and mental collapse if usage is too prolonged.
2. Specific Legends such as Heracles [Hercules], are limited to having one person in a given Contract at a time. Once said person is dead, the Contract is null and voided and a new person can take his or her place.
3. A Legend is able to telepathically commune with it's Contract Holder. Of course the effectiveness of communication is dependent on the bond between the two.
4. A Legend usually resides within a separate plane of existence along with other Legends. Of course these Legends can access the Human World. Though a Taboo was placed in order to prevent said Major Legends from physically manifesting and causing actual destruction. A minor legend, however, can physically manifest and etc.
