What happens when the family of a material girl from upscaled California (Bell Aire, Beverly Hills, or even Newport Beach) decides to uproot and unplug to go and live on a broken down ranch in Montana?
The truth is that your parents ran into some severe financial difficulty. (Newport Beach is some of the most expensive real estate in the US.) Bad financial situations forced your parents to sell or face foreclosure. None of you has ever set foot on a real farm or ranch. (You might have taken equestrian lessons though, but from one of those prestigious and pretentious academies. It isn’t as though you really had to do the work.) Your parents have this crazy idea of building a real ranch for guests and all.
No internet, no friends, nowhere to shop, no money to shop with. Your life has suddenly transitioned into Hell.
None of this is helped by the fact that your ranch is right next to another ranch, a working ranch. About the only silver lining is the Boy Next Door. Talk about corn fed. Over 6 and a half feet tall, dark hair, eyes of an unknown color as you’ve only seen him with sunglasses. But you would bet just about anything they are blue.
