Yeah I'm hot...A hot mess
In the year 2034 and unknown affliction sweeps the Earth. Anyone at random has a chance to solidify into a solid state and then completely disintegrate, the affliction leaves scientists baffled and with no way to study those affected they begin to kidnap people from their homes and study them in their labs. One of these unfortunate "participants" is Ren Calithorne, a college drop-out turned street thug, and one other stranger. Upon solidifying and disintegrating Ren and the stranger find themselves in an unfamiliar world, there they are greeted by a strange woman who bestows upon them one power of their choosing to survive and then she disappears. The stranger warns the pair of strange humanoid creatures she calls the "Uh'chak" that inhabit this world and it seems any humans who stumble upon it are prey for their hunt. With nothing to rely on besides themselves, Ren and their partner must survive in this hostile world and find a way back to the lives they've been made to leave behind.
