inactive, hiatus
(I guess you could say this roleplay is loosely based off of My Hero Academia, what with the "school to hone your powers for good" premise. However, i haven't actually watched or read MHA so I'm not sure if this is a direct ripoff or if I'm copying stuff.)
You are a proud student at the New Wings Academy For The Mystically Inclined (NWAMI, if you will), a school catered to helping people like you make their way in life!
But who are 'people like you?' People with powers, of course! Although seen as destructive and hard to keep in check by many outsiders, you and your fellow students were housed by NWAMI, living on campus to hone and control your powers to fight evil! And you've been generally happy here, really, and are nearing the end of the year and your potential acceptance into the Mystically Inclined Protection and Safety Squad (MIPSS), the group of heroes who protect the city, and even join forces to keep the country safe!
However, something's happened, something terrible! The city's main antagonist, a villain by the name of Gnarly Widds and leader of the Widdsmarks (He's not the best at naming things), has broken into NWAMI, and stolen some important and valuable materials! And, to make things worse, the MIPSS are across the world, recuperating from their most recent battle (you saw it on TV it was awesome) and unable to come to the rescue.
So NWAMI has chosen you and your fellow classmates, some of the most promising students and those closest to graduation, to go after Widds, to get back what he stole (NWAMI hasn't told you what exactly he stole, but you won't let that stop you). Rumours have been circulating that getting the stolen goods back will even land you all a place in MIPSS after graduation!
You and your classmates are ready to go hunt down Widds, find what he stole, and pass this "final exam" with flying colors!
Now, onto the rules!
Rules:
1. Be nice!!!! It's alright if your character or someone else's character is a little mean, but don't take it out on each other personally!
2. You can have up to two characters per person- you can ask for a third if you'd really like to or you think it's a concept you really want to try! You can also add new characters later on, if you can find a way to work it into the story!
3. Plot twists, treachery, double crossing- I love it!! If you want something like a character being, for example, a Widdsmark spy or something, PM me and I'll give you a few secret details and such your character might know! If it's a secret thing, don't mention it in the form!
4. On that note, we can't have 100% spies or double crossers, and some things just wont work with the story, so don't get upset if a couple things get declined!
5. You DO have superpowers! Yay! But you must also have a weakness, whether that's something that nullifies the powers themselves (water to fire, for example), disadvantages to their powers (someone who can control plant growth, but they get super weak or cant move when doing so) or something that the character dislikes enough that it'll weaken their powers in general (A lighting mage that's too scared of bugs to be able to properly control their lighting around them).
6. These students know each other, somewhat. They might not be super close, but they've met before, or passed each other in school. Maybe your character doesnt know all their names or is kind of a loner, but they're not complete strangers!
7. Above all else, have fun! And if you have questions, ask me either here or in PMs!
Ask me anything else here!
