Federal Embassy - U.F.S

An explosion erupted from several floors, causing panic among-st the Embassy staff as Federal troops stationed within the Embassy scrambled to gain control of the situation. Within minutes of the explosion erupting, two mercs hastily fled the scene, with one of them carrying a briefcase. Seeing the two mercs, some of the soldiers tried to chase after them, but found it difficult as the two had a very long head start.

"Take them out!!!" The Infantry Captain shouted chasing after them. Meanwhile several soldiers raised their assault rifles, firing off several Anti-Matter energy at the two. The Merc not carrying the briefcase immediately whipped around and activated an Energy shield that deflected the Anti-Matter energy.

As the two mercs started to inch closer and closer towards the gates, a LARV from the Embassy's underground armory drifted to a halt as the gunner opened fire with the vehicle's auto-cannon, tearing the thick metal walls protecting the embassy apart, all the while the same merc had put up a biotic barrier protecting him and his accomplice as the two jumped over the gate.

The Captain, who was right on their tail, slammed the override panel for the gates, before quickly drawing his handgun, firing a couple shots at the mercs from across the street until they disappeared out of sight, enraging the captain, who started cussing and swung at thin air in frustration and anger, having to be restrained by soldiers.

Kowoxia City, Kowoxia Prime, Kowoxia

It was a relatively quiet and peaceful day in the Federal district of Kowoxia prime. And by that I meant that people of various races and species crowded the multi level extra wide sidewalks that adorned each side of the 7 lane, 3 level main street. The Federal district was located towards the center of the Finecian homeworld and comprised of various Finecian Political buildings, including the United Central Assembly at which all leaders of the various Kingdoms and Principalities that made up the UFS met. It is and always has been the core of Finecian politics.

That being said, it's importance to politicians and business leaders gave no reason as to why the streets were so busy. Yes, it was a main road, but the cities main attractions could easily and much more efficiently be reached by traveling around the district rather than few. No shops, museums, cafes, etc existed within sight. Surely no one was interested in sitting in on a debate of old furry midgets arguing about healthcare and trade restrictions? Perhaps they were all here to get a chance to view a live, real, battle to the death at the cities main Simulation Arena located next to the capital building? Yep, that was probably it.

Some would wonder why an arena that gathered such crowds was placed in the Federal District. Wouldn't that make the area much harder to police? Yes, yes it did. Then why did they put it there you ask? So the congressmen could find entertainment during their break times obviously. It's a fair trade off if you ask me.

Either way, these busy streets made it quite easy for the mercenaries to blend into the now panicking crowds who ran in any direction that wasn't towards the ravaged embassy. Hover cars veered off in random directions, leaving the gird locked streets for the side walks. Those that couldn't escape by car abandoned their vehicles, leaping down to the ground and running away by foot. The abandoned cars stayed where they were, furthering the grid lock and leaving even more to abandon the streets. Within moments that entire place had delved into utter chaos.

Sirens blared in the distance, as emergency response crews and security forces rushed to the scene. Most of course got blocked by the stampede of fleeing tourists, businessmen and screaming Finecians. Police Sargents tried to gain control of the situation, but their bullhorns barely rose above the cacophony of screaming Finecians. It would take some time for the round crews to restore order and forge a path through the masses. The only help would be from those in the air and stationed just outside the embassy.

((Im just going to rush through this to allow you to respond))

As soon as the embassy gates opened, a small squadron of four Finecian soldiers, dressed in standard body army we idling standard issue SMGs ran into the compound. The apparent leader, a short, older looking Finecian with silver fur looked around side to side, only glancing momentarily at the flames that erupted form the upper levels of the compound. He soon directed his attention of the Federal Captain, whom he approached with a brisk, agitated pace while the rest of his squadron stood in the entrance, awe-struck by the massive funeral pyre the embassy had been turned into.

"You're the Captain, correct?" The elder Inecian asked, and without waiting for a response, continued. "What the hell just happened? What the hell is going on?"

The captain pushed his soldiers away, staring down at the small Finecian with hostility. The captain's gaze was aggressive, not only that, the captain was huffing and puffing while gritting his teeth, still fuming from the events that procured just moments ago. "i don't know you stupid animal. Why don't you tell me? How can your government allow two mercenaries or potential terrorists to enter YOUR territory, and let them wreck havoc on MY embassy!!!!???"

"Sir. Calm down." One of the soldiers said, pulling the captain back.

"Those people stole something of ours. And it's your people's faults for allowing them into your territory." The Captain added.
