Whatever secrets lie behind this town filled with joy and happiness, you do not yet know.

*Do Not Use the Lore Elevator/Staircase Section, use this to guide on where to go*
Behind the Counter Lady, facing the wall at the far back, is where the Elevator stands. It'll take you to both to the second and the third floor.
The Main Half-Spiral Staircases on both side leads you to the second floor open hallway that allows you to look down at the lobby below. At the center of the hallway on the wall's side will be where the elevator is. Right beside it is a door that allows you to take the stairs up instead.

On Second Floor's Open Hallway, going left will allow you to get to the left wing and going right will allow you to go to the right wing.
Room number increases as you go further down. Meaning, at the very beginning of the left wing will be Room 201, then 202, etc etc; at the right wing it'll start from 226, then 227, 228, etc. Same applies to the third floor.

Second Floor
← Room 201-225 (Left Wing)
(Right Wing) Room 226-250 →
Gaming Room →
Note: At the very very end

Inside the Gaming Room, you have a pool table, a ping-pong table, some chess tables, a shelf filled with playing cards, board games, more books, and a phonograph

Third Floor
Upon reaching the third floor, the door opens to a sign that is hanging on the wall directly facing you:

← Room 301-325 (Left Wing)
(Right Wing) Room 326-350 →

O
n both floors, on both ends of the hallways are a set of clear double doors that lead you to a huge balcony for you to enjoy the cool breezes and chill.

You see nobody else with you when you arrive at this hotel. It’s as if you’re completely alone in this place. Exhaustion somehow seems to have suddenly overwhelmed you, even if you may not have previously felt so tired. As you walk to your room, you see nobody else, not even a shadow. You approach your own room and you enter.

The room is a typical hotel room. There is a bed with a small counter by its side and a lamp above it. There is a desk with a chair and two small couches facing a empty small round table. There is a full body mirror and a large empty closet. There is a window as well, shut close with the dark green curtains half open. A clock hangs on the wall, time passing by with every tick-tok. A door leads you to the bathroom, where a huge bathtub sits on the side.

You want to sleep.

Whatever things you did in the bed in your room, you eventually wound up flopping onto the bed.

You close your eyelids. That’s how your very first night at this Town ends.

And then the Next Day arrives.

Prologue

“So the story begins again…”

A man whispered into the dark, empty sky as he looked out into the window of his room, his pale purple eyes appeared especially dim. The window faced the back garden of the hotel, which is decorated mainly by rose bushes of all colors. The beauty of each blooming rose hid the thorns underneath.

“I will save you this time, Rae, definitely.”

He felt it. New people have arrived. New visitors to the town. New victims.

The man closed the window shut, the curtains no longer waving with the breezes. Exhaustion overwhelmed him, and he collapsed onto the bed. Streaks of green hair covered his face as his consciousness faded, fading into a land of memories and nightmares and riddles of reality and dreams…

CHAPTER ONE
605892Lucier Evergrend’s eyes opened in the morning, and he blinked, then blinked twice, then thrice. His hand slid over the soft, gentle bed surface, gave it a good pat, then sat up. He tried to brush his green hair back, but they seemed to automatically slide back and covered half of his face again.

“Where am I?”

Then he remembered. A memory entered his head as swiftly as he wanted to recall. He was searching for his younger sister when he saw a tiny ball of flame, emitting a magical blue light. Lucier reached to scratch the back of his head, wondering why he would even want to follow it. Now he’s in a mysterious town in a mysterious hotel after following a mysterious lady here.

Oh well, he’ll see how things go first. Now that he’s in this mysterious town, he might as well explore it before he starts worrying about everything he’s supposed to be worrying about again. Maybe, if he asks the townsfolks here, he may learn about his sister’s whereabouts too. With this thought in mind, a light smile made its way onto the male’s face.

Lucier did not remember much of last night. All he could recall was that he was so exhausted he had flopped onto the bed and slept till morning. Now, the short pointer of the clock pointed in the direction of seven. It was merely 7 AM.

The male went to the bathroom and took a shower, then tidied himself up. He wore a thin, light purple jacket over his white shirt underneath, buttoned up to the top except for the very first button. He was about to reach for his hat, then figured that he’s not heading out yet so there’s probably no need of it for now. Overall, his neatened clothes and style would give others an impression that he’s a gentleman, or at least a person not from the poorest background.

Lucier wondered if there’s anyone else in this hotel with him, if anyone arrived the way he did last night to this hotel. Hopefully, he wouldn’t be alone. With a smile hanging upon his lips even in solitude, the male entered the dining room on the first floor, where a long, rectangular table filled with all kinds of food sat on the farther side.

“Oh, this place is nice!” Lucier couldn’t help but remark as he approached that table, planning on grabbing a plate.

There seemed to be no one in the dining room yet. Not even the waiter or waitresses. He stood there alone until he felt like someone else came.

Floella woke up to another ordinary day, just like all the others she had lived after escaping from her family, taking a little longer to wake than usual owing to the small celebration she had held for herself the night before that marked exactly a year since she got away. Smiling, she sat up and looked around the small room in the morning sun, stretching her body out and getting up to prepare for the day. Since settling down, the elf had picked up a small yet discreet job with a painter where she was expected to organize and clean his belongings. She didn't mind the work and it helped her keep her head low and preoccupied.

Walking down the street she noted that there wasn't a single other person about, none of the usual morning hustle and bustle she had come to enjoy. Feeling a familiar sensation of worry creep over her, she quickened her pace to leave the suspicious surroundings behind her when a large, muscled man stepped out from a building and in front of her. "We've been expecting you, Lady Carnelis" he said with a wicked smile. Her breath caught in her throat as more men like him stepped into view, surrounding her. "Your parents miss you ever so much" he said, his expression never changing "don't you think it's about time you come home?"

The strength left her legs and she fell to her knees on the ground. Fighting was never something she was good at and she knew there was no way she could escape this group, the feeling of helplessness was setting in again as tears gathered in the corners of her eyes. She put up no fight as she was lifted harshly from the ground by calloused hands, carried away towards a car with tinted windows and driven away from the life of freedom she had come to know.

Upon seeing her former home appear in the view through the window, the knot in her stomach tightened painfully and she clasped her hands tighter in her lap to fight back the panic plaguing her. When the car pulled up she was marched, surrounded still on all sides, towards the front doors where her parents stood waiting for her with their faces twisted in anger and disappointment. As she looked at them it seemed that there was no trace of the warm, loving people who had raised her, all that was left seemed to be an empty, cruel imitation that stole away the words she had planned to speak. She could see their mouths moving but it was almost as though her mind had given up on listening to them. Once they had yelled themselves into satisfaction, they had her brought into the manor and through to one of the rooms for receiving guests.

Waiting there, a broad smile on his face and his hands held proudly behind his back causing his chest to lift up, was her fiancée. Looking at his face made it hard for her to breathe as his smile melted into a cruel grin at her being marched towards him. She tried to stop a small distance away but was forcibly moved forward to stand directly in front of him, keeping her head and gaze lowered. The shock was starting to wear off now and the fear was setting in like cold seeping through a coat, she wanted to get away but all the strength in her body seemed to have left her. “Look up Floella” The man said, disappointment clear in his tone. The silence in the room stretched on as the elf resolutely stared downwards, more out of fear than defiance. He only waited a few moment before taking hold of her chin and sharply tilting her head back so that their eyes met. “No more games” he said quietly “We’ll be getting married soon so get used to it” he looked back over to her guards and pointed upwards. “Take her to her room and keep her there

And so she was marched upstairs through familiar but cold seeming halls to the room she had loved as a child. As soon as she stepped over the threshold the door was slammed behind her and she knew that someone would be keeping watch to make sure she stayed put. Her body suddenly felt heavy, so she walked over to the bed and sat there for a while, staring blankly at the floor and taking deep breaths.

It took a few more days for her to hit rock bottom. Resilient as she felt she was and having come up with a new plan, she had packed a very small amount of belongings and escaped through the bedroom window to the garden below. Moving slowly and carefully to avoid being seen, she happened to glance into the study used by her father and the by now familiar pressure to her lungs came back as she looked over the contents of the far wall, seeing evidence of her family keeping track of her the whole year she had been away. With the strong new evidence that she had never really gotten away, the rest of her fight left in her heart broke left her considering climbing back to her room obediently. However, when she turned to walk back a blue light seemed to flicker into being in front of her.

The light was a calming and she felt her whole being drawn towards it. She didn’t even see the world around her as it led her through foreign streets and down strange alleys until it vanishing as quickly as it appeared, leaving her stood alone in a lively place filled with exotic smells, sweet melodies and loud laugher that assaulted her from every angle as her senses returned to her. As she looked around, fear and doubts raising up inside, she saw a woman dressed in red approaching her. For a moment she just watched and then considered running but something held her in place, whether that was an outside force or her recent loss of ability to put up a fight she wasn’t sure.

The Red Lady smiled as she drew close, sending a strange but strong wave of relief over the elf just as her nerves were beginning to reach their limit and drawing a small smile in return. She was offered a place to rest and inexplicably found herself agreeing and following the woman to a comfortable looking hotel in a daze, listening to the explanations of the hotel but mostly just nodding along blankly. She was finally handed a key as the woman left her in the reception hall and as the fatigue of the whole situation hit, immediately thanked the woman at reception as she walked to the stairs and up to find her room – Room 209. Feeling so exhausted that she didn’t even look around before locking the door and going to the bed, falling asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow.

When her eyes opened the next morning, she was surprised at how well rested and refreshed she felt. It was like the night had washed away all her worries and she felt safe and at ease for the first time in years, her body even felt lighter and seemed to move much quicker than before. She stood up and looked around at the room she was in: it was fairly standard and decorated as she would have expected, the only thing of note that she could see was the vase full of bright, perfectly blooming flowers near the window. Upon closer inspection, the arrangement contained all of her favorite flowers and the happy coincidence drew a brighter smile than that of the night before.

Her natural curiosity was screaming then for her to investigate the town she passed through the night before so she quickly showered herself and was going back to the bed when she stopped and looked at the only clothes she had with her. They were the plainest things she could find to not draw attention to herself. Sighing as she walked over to get dressed she had a thought. “They had this room ready for me… Maybe they had some clothes prepared?” It was a long shot but she walked over to the wardrobe and opened it up, letting out a loud gasp as she laid eyes on the contents. With a renewed large smile she quickly chose a light, breezy looking pink dress and tried it on.

Feeling happy when it fit her perfectly, she finished tidying herself up and left with the intent to explore the town. She hadn’t even thought of food until a wonderful smell caught her attention from the dining hall, drawing a long, loud noise from her stomach. “Maybe a quick snack” she said in a light voice and a small laugh, practically skipping into the hall but stopping when she saw someone standing there.

Wondering if it was a fellow guest at the hotel, she called out: “Hello!” She said in a cheerful voice while giving a big smile and approaching the green haired man “Did the smell get you too?

His eyes struggled to open. Turning over on the bed to his side as he willed himself to at least look at where he was. This room wasn't his own.. How did he even get here? He tried to remember, but only the feeling of happiness came up. It made him think of his kids and as he smiled at that thought. He quickly frowned right after. They certainly wouldn't be here. He fell onto his back after that and looked at the ceiling. It looked like a hotel room.. He felt something heavy in his pocket. Moving his hand slowly to it, he soon found himself holding a key. So it is a hotel room. Memories slowly began to pop up, filling in the gaps that he was trying to mend. He remembered he got here from that.. Light. He sighed out as he realized he had clung to something that wasn't real. This was real however at least. He guessed it was a nice change in scenery if anything else. He put the key back into his pocket and searched for his picture. He found is easily and as he sat up in the bed he looked over their faces.

He wish he had went to them instead. That was when he realized he slept in his clothes. He doubted he could get away with just staying in his room. Who knows maybe he'll find something not too annoying out there. He slowly tried to pep talk himself into leaving as he went to take a shower and get himself to not look like he just woke up. After showering he came out and looked at his clothes. They would need to be washed. He didn't take spare clothes though did he? No, he's sure that he didn't. Well his clothes may look like he slept in them. Which he did. But they didn't seem to smell. With a shrug to no one he simple put back on his old clothing. Not like he'd really care what he looked like too much. Being decent and not smelling sure, but having messy hair or clothing didn't matter to him. He made sure his picture and key were secure before he though of what to do now. He supposed he should eat some. Possible find some alcohol in the process.

Before that however he looked around his room. He found some money on the table, why was that there? He figured it was for him. Right? Whatever the case may be he took it with him before looking over the other furniture in his room. Nothing else was interesting. He decided to simple leave his room. Looking around to try and find his way about the place, he tried to navigate to where ever may be food. It took some time as he looked to each sign, but soon he was down at the main lobby. He quickly went over to the dinning room only to see two other people there. He decided to just look at what was out, that was until he noticed the alcohol on the shelf. He quickly went over to that and look through what they had. Soon he grabbed one of the bottles, he guessed he probably should have something to eat with it.

"Nnngh... What the fuuuuck..." Yuuko rubbed his head. He found himself laying in a rather plush hotel bed, something he wasn't entirely used to. Head pounding, he rose, taking in his surroundings. He was still dressed in his rather dingy attire, and checked his pockets to make sure he had the essentials; Yep, everything was there. Some smokes, a lighter, and 2g of good ol' white. A new object was present as well: an heavy metal key. S'pose it belongs to this room in... wherever the fuck I am. All Yuuko remembered was following a blue, hazy light into a town, though he doubted that this really happened and was probably the result of some sort of drug induced haze. Based on the money he found on the bedside table, it seemed to him that he had rented out this room after that fat sale to the politician. Wait, hold on, Yuuko thought. That deal went bad. If that really did go bad, then everything that happened after that...

Yuuko shot out of the comfortable position on the bed and into the hall. Before he even tried to figure out what had happened, he needed a straw. Figure I could find one in the dining room, yeah?

After running down three goddamn flights of stairs (Who designed this fucking hotel, anyways?) Yuuko finally made it into the dining room. It seemed that three people had beat him there; Another green haired guy, some chick in a dumb pink dress, and a guy who looked just as in the hole as he did. Ignoring them, he began his hunt for anything tubular that would serve as... well, you know. Whether it be from the withdrawls or the piss poor layout of this goddamn hotel, Yuuko couldn't find anything. He sighed.

"Yo. Have any of you seen some, ah... Straws?"

Vasco Lazaro, Hotel Allucina, Morning
Vasco Lazaro was many things. A musician— Some of the time, a connoisseur of alcohol— A drunk, and even a tramp of sorts— Indubitably.

However, a late riser, he was not. Six A.M. on the dot, he was out of bed and picking an outfit from the oddly to taste dresser. Back in Carpi, he picked out a cheap mistake of a shirt from his local tailor. Sleeves that were too baggy and the fabric much too thin- while it was a pick just to save money, he didn't ever regret it, he liked it quite a bit even. So, it was odd that he found a lookalike shirt in the dresser. Vasco didn't question it though. Why would he? He was sure there were styles of men's blouses out there. In the end he splayed on the bed the dress shirt, then some dress pants. Once he was finished with that, Vasco hobbled over to the shower, only now realizing how hungry he was. His meals were so spread out for the month, he was deeply in need of something to fill his stomach... Oh well.

First to shave, he could probably keep himself out of the red if he started work at a barbershop, swiftly giving dropping the weight on his face. One to shower while he brushed his teeth(if anything, he cared for his dental health), he began to think over the events that happened in the past twelve hours.

Not much.

He had a glass of rum in hand at a local bar that he couldn't play at anymore where he had the flatteringly simple realization. Then, he paid. Everything beyond that was something of a blur. Which was odd. Vasco didn't get inebriated to the point of not remembering last night. Or maybe he did. Regardless he started to dry soon coming out to dress, keeping his hair wrapped up to dry a bit more having a morning smoke. Huffing and puffing as usual, he pulled on the perfect fit of dress pants. Peeking out at the window-- there too, people were out and about, happy as can be. Happy as can be, huh?

If they were happy as can be, then he should do so as well. Eyeing the money, then his surroundings he nabbed that.

"Don't mind if I do, don't mind if I do..." He muttered through the cig. Adjusting the cuff of his shirt, he put the cheap thing out in the ash tray, sweeping back his hair one last time, as more of a theatric motion, heading on out after donning his lucky slacks and guitar case. His pride and joy.

Vasco had to commend himself for being able to go up three flights while supposedly shit faced. Despite that, he made it down to the first floor seeing as the second had nothing of interest. From there, he just followed the scent of food. While that took marginally longer than any other method, he eventually made it to the dining hall where he could finally fill his stomach--

"Oh, hello!" While he'd cherry pick who out of the despairingly lopsided ratio to talk to, the musician found them less odd- no, definitely stranger than the rest.

"Nice weather we're having isn't it?" A thick accent dotting each word with a slight raise, he greeted them with a true statement, at least to himself. Sunny but less than humid days were always a nice day to perform.

Kanna woke up, not because it was morning, but because the sun was shining upon her.

She sat up quickly, her whole body tense. Light was, to her, a signal of danger: it meant that something was terribly wrong. No demon would stay in the light, much less sleep in one: they were strongest in the dark, and so they would stick to the shadows, especially if it was being hunted like Kanna had been. Her fist tightened into a ball, she leapt out of the bed and hunched down at the corner of the room, ready to strike the first person who opened the door.

Time passed like that, with her crouched like a cat about to pounce. No one came. There was not a single sound. Even the birds were silent outside. Her back started to ache - should she stand up, risking losing the attack of opportunity to do so? Finally she had no choice but to do so.

She looked around the room slowly. The room was not too big, but not too small; there was a bed just big enough for her, a closet, a desk with a small bookshelves, a trunk on the foot of the bed, and a carpet decorating the wooden floor. Oddly enough, the room seemed to be recently cleaned. She walked over to the closet and opened the door, finding her old clothes inside. It was clear that someone had laundered it without her permission. Without much impromptu she changed out of her pajamas - since when did she have a pajama? - and into her familiar raincoat. It was sunny outside, unfortunately, but maybe the clouds will come soon and block out the nosy sunshine. She got her Stick of Healing from the desk, snatched a keyring with a single key (presumably for the room she was in), and walked outside, careful not to make a sound.

As soon as she was away from the light from the window, she immediately began to morph herself. Her fingernails grew sharper, her legs became like that of a beast, and her whole body emanated shadowy mist. Once she was finally in her demon form, she listened intently for any signs of life. Suddenly, with the help of her heightened senses, she could hear things for a mile away: there were sounds of a million chatter outside, each one happily exchanging morning greetings. Much closer, probably on the first floor, she could hear a woman with high heels pacing back and forth: she remembered the mysterious red woman was wearing a rather garish one. A bit closer, there were sounds of people, about five of them in fact...

Yo. Have any of you seen some, ah... straws? One asked. Nice weather we're having, the other said. She didn't recognize any of the voices. It was not the Wizard and his friends, for sure - they would never talk so casually. She could smell the food from there too, many kinds in fact. One of them being a strawberry and lemon macaroni.

She quickly morphed back to her human form and tiptoed down the stairs. She walked inside the room with many foods, keeping to the walls. She passed by the people, going directly for the macaroni. She grabbed almost all of the macaroni, spilling a few on the floor, and sat down on the table. She popped the strawberry and lemon one in her mouth - the flavor burst inside of her like colorful fireworks, it was almost the best macaroni she had ever had. Almost.

She continued popping each one in, savoring the flavor, until she realized that she had left none for the others. "Macaroni," she said, grabbing a few and offering it to others. "Good macaroni. Kanna wants others to try."

// Interacting with Nine of Swords Nine of Swords

Eyes opening slowly, Phoebe was still more than half-asleep, barely even processing the fact that she wasn’t even in her own bed. Her eyes slowly drifted over to the clock in her room. 7:05. Shit. She was late for work. She jolted up, almost ready to hop out of bed before the realization hit her.

Oh, right. I don’t even have a job.

She flopped back down dramatically, with an equally dramatic sigh. If it hadn’t been for the fact that she was in a hotel she barely remembered checking into, Phoebe would’ve just gone back to sleep. For now, she just wanted to figure out what had gone on. She stared at the ceiling through half-closed eyes, trying to recall the events of the night prior. The shop had finally been cleared out in order for her client to move her stuff in, and Phoebe had wandered off from her old place of employment, bouquet of flowers in hand to the local cemetery. She saw a little blue light, with something compelling her to follow it. The rest of the story was a complete haze of confusion as she stumbled about a town that she didn’t remotely recognize.

It didn’t take long for her to make it to the hotel and to pass out completely. Whether it was emotional exhaustion, physical exhaustion of working all day or some combination of both, she was out like a light. So, where was she now? Sitting up yet again, Phoebe took a second to survey her surroundings. She really didn’t get a good look at the room last night, having pretty much thrown everything she had with her down in favor of just getting to bed as soon as humanly possible. It didn’t look like she missed out on much, with it being a normal hotel room and all. She’d figure out the details about whatever town she got lost in later. It could be a fun outing, after all.

After getting out of bed, she headed over to her worn-down daypack. She was just hoping to find a change of clothes. She’d sometimes pack them just in case since she wasn’t really the neatest person around. Phoebe wasn’t opposed to wearing the clothes she slept in, but they looked like a complete mess. Oh, so that’s where those went she thought as she pulled out a crumpled-up blouse and a pair of pants. How long were those in there? Even if the clothes would be beyond wrinkled at that point, it was better than wearing clothes that she had on for more than a day.

Without thinking anything else of it, she moved on with her daily routine before leaving, grabbing the money and key on her way out. She haphazardly rushed down the stairs, almost tripping a number of times. Though, as much as she wanted to just head out and check out the town, the smell of food from the dining room drew her in. Wouldn’t hurt to eat. After all, breakfast was the most important meal of the day. That’s what her mom said, anyways. As she approached, she could hear the faint voices of others. The voices became more clear the closer she got, until she could hear them fully once she actually entered the room

“Mornin’, everyone!” she greeted the six others that had already found their way to the dining room. Even if she didn’t know a single person there, she wanted to at least be friendly. She noticed a kid trying to hand out some sort of food, who had mentioned it was goo. She walked over to her, offering a small smile before taking one of what she was giving out. "Thank you!" She took a bite, finding the strawberry-lemon flavor to be enjoyable. "Yeah, you're right, they are good!"

My name Is Darius D. Sinclair Corvus Blackhardt and I'm a private detective on a missing persons case searching for a girl named Amelia Winters; a girl barely passed the age of sixteen who comes from a well distinguished family with a lot of money to burn and a enterprise company large enough to block out the sun. So here I was making my way down the lonesome road of the degraded ninety-nine, following a lead to an abandoned ghost town that was once known as Somnia dating a few centuries back; In hope that I would find her and possibly others who had been spirited away by something possibly supernatural In essence. I had been on the road for maybe almost a day or so and I had barely made any stops except for the ones at the gas station and thanks to the well polished ebony 1965 chrysler Imperial crown I was driving I was able to save myself the trouble from of another long day of driving just to get to where I needed to. The crown was a good vehicle, she took care of me and I took care of her once a month myself with a tuneup and a good clean every now and again to keep her happy.

With further proceedings down the road I began to approach some fog, which seemed to appear from out of nowhere moments after I had passed a severely eroded welcoming sign, which I couldn't have read due to the foliage obscuring It from my view. Soon I could no longer see the road In front of me as the fog continued to veil the path up ahead. I hit the brakes on the car knowing that I could no longer continue forward and decided It would be best to travel on foot Instead of by car which would have led to a Inevitable accident somewhere down the road. While I wasn't particularly materialistic, I was fairly fond of this car and would've preferred not to crash It, plus It was a very long way back If I did crash It.

I didn't like the looks of this unnatural fog, there was something foreboding about It. Soon after I had left my car I found myself shrouded by endless perpetual fog so thick I could barely make out the tip of my nose; It was almost like the fog was trying to purposely smother me. My Instincts began to vibrate with unease before the sinister fog surrounding me, so as a precaution I decided to cast a ward upon myself for protection, but before I could cast It I suddenly became overwhelmed with an Immediate sense of perplexing lethargy. It looked like I was little late on the draw; I should've casted It beforehand; what a rookie mistake. Trying to make my way back to the car proved to be more than a little difficult; It felt just as If I was wading through knee deep muddy waters and with each step forward I could feel my strength begin to wane. My mind was slowing sinking with severe and nonstop disorientation as darkness began to corner my vision, all the while I began loosing even the strength to stand on my own. Slowly; eventually... Inevitably, I began to tip over to the side like timber as my vision began to darken completely and finally I began to succumb to unconsciousness.

A deep dreamy blackness filled my mind until and for a moment I could feel myself being lead by this eerie orb of warm light, then soothing harmonious sounds of music and a woman's voice gently beckoned me back to consciousness. I sharply Inhaled through my nose as I awoke with slowly opened eyes; giving a slight groan as I shook myself from my languorous daze, pressuring the bridge of my nose with my right hand as I winced a little leaning forward Into the table before me. My mind still felt a little fogged after whatever had transpired back there, yet It passed after a time. But here I found myself with surroundings vaguely unfamiliar, sitting alone In a dark booth In a dark lit classic nightclub of some sort where I wasn't alone. There were others gathered here, sitting at different candle lit rosy red dressed tables; conversing, laughing, eating, smoking, and drinking as a performer on stage sung to them. All of them were going about their personal affairs unhindered, as If everything were normal. Yet there was nothing normal about this situation.

2K13-Apr-4-HoB.1365002298.jpg

A list of questions began filling my mind as I observed all of them with a bitter skeptical frown. I contemplated how the hell I got here, but that part of my memory was still a bit hazy; yet I had a sneaking suspicion as to where I was. This had to be... Somnia. I observed the room with a cold callous glare which gleamed with an unshakable suspicion; one that I'm sure would prove me right In time. While I took this chance to ruminate the performers on stage began to slowly caught my attention. Listening to the words they sang, I couldn't help but feel like they were Insinuating something ominous back at me; as strange as It sounds, It was like they were trying to conform or to convince me of something. I had only been here for barely four minutes and this place was already giving the creeps; whatever they were selling, I sure as hell wasn't buying.

Something did occur to me though and Instinctively I began to check my pockets, patting myself down as I did. Everything seemed to be In proper order: I had my gun, my knife, my phone, my badge, some ammunition, and... a picture? I remembered.. It was Amelia. For some reason I had almost forgotten all about her; I bemused for a moment as to why; maybe I hit my head a little too hard or maybe... maybe It was this place. Since the moment I got here I could sense a bizarre type of magic coating the air all around me, It was especially potent around the people here. I would have to Investigate this further, but for now It would have to wait. Currently my main objective was to find Amelia and to bring her back safely with me.

I knew she was here, In this town.... somewhere, I could feel It In my gut.

Killian Justitia | The Allucina | Status: Hungover Like Wow
The sunlight pierced his silver eyes like scissors through paper and Killian sat, struck dumb and motionless, on the bed for five whole seconds gathering his senses. His brain must have rewired itself to think it was a heart because it was pounding, loudly and enthusiastically, leaving him unable to think properly at all. Even through the awful hangover, however, he still recognized that there was something terribly wrong with his current condition. For one, he wasn’t in his own bedroom, often a blaring signal of bad decisions. For two -

Wait, he backtracked down his chaotic train of thoughts, hangover?

Killian rarely drank beyond a polite glass or two of champagne. He hated the taste of alcohol, the smell it left behind and especially how it messed with your head. The only reason he would think to drink himself to this wastrel-like state was...right, that. He grimaced at the memory of the day before, now tinged with a bit of regret. Cursing himself, he stood up to assess the situation.

The room was small, rather homey, but off. Exactly how off, Killian didn’t know. The inhuman part of him said so, though, and it was never wrong about these things. His belongings were in his wallet, thankfully untouched. His shirt was unbuttoned but that was just because the room was warm and he had a habit of snuggling in blankets no matter what the temperature was. Everything was alright and Killian had the urgent feeling that it really shouldn’t be.

That only intensified when, upon further exploration, he realized that there were multiple sets of clothing in the closet, most that fit him just right. Clothing did not fit Killian just right. Ever. They were either too short or too wide. He was, more often than not, the designer’s dream and the seamstress’s worst nightmare. He pursed his lips and decided to keep his own clothes on, however crumpled they were.

Better get out of here, he thought, figure out where this place is. It sure as hell wasn’t anywhere near his city. Before he left, he checked himself in the mirror, combing his hair and straightening out his shirt. He still looked like he had a wild night, unfortunately, but at least, he figured, it now seemed more to have been a crazy party than a bear attack.

Killian followed the sounds of voices to a large dining room on the floor beneath his room; the first floor, apparently. Inside was a myriad of people, ranging from perfectly normal to stare-inducing, gathered around a table. They seemed to be strangers, as well, speaking pleasantries only because they felt a need to. He wondered, with some morbid amusement, if they had all been kidnapped and there would be someone announcing some last-one-standing type of game soon.

He walked over just in time as a small looking girl started to give out macrons to the group. A second of studying her made his Fairy senses jump and he stared just slightly longer than he should before greeting the group.

“Good morning,” he opened with a smile, sounding a thousand times more alive than he felt, “are all of you staying in this hotel, too?”

Yuuko grunted at his being ignored. He's never ignored, not where he's from. So that must mean I'm in some fucked up no man's land with no fucking anything and NO RESPECT for a man who JUST WANTS A STRAW FOR INNOCENT REASONS. They were much more interested in this rather cute girl handing out macrons. He exhaled sharply.

His frustration, however, was somewhat alleviated when he was hit with the overwhelming smell of alcohol. "Good morning, are all of you staying in this hotel, too?" Yuuko shot the overly cheery man a glare. "Hotel? Is that what this is?" He stared the entire group down, eyes narrowed. "And where did you get that alcohol?" Yuuko looked at the macron girl. She looked a little young to be peddling goods in a random hotel, but Yuuko didn't really care all too much. "Was it you? Where'd you keep that shit, and how do I get it?" Realizing how desperate he looked, practically begging a child to get him a drink, caused him to shake his head. "Nevermind. Just... everyone shut the fuck up and eat some French pastries or whatever macrons are."

I just woke up, and I'm already bombarded with idiocy,
Yuuko thought, completely ignoring the fact that he had just initiated about 14 conversations and then walked away from them all immediately afterwards. Finding an isolated seat, he took this chance to evaluate this (unfortunately) crowded dining room. Some sort of model looking guy, with an odd glint in his eyes. Seen my fair share around the city to know fae blood when I see it, the boy smirked to himself. Girls, especially; Those girls were always the ones who brought in the most profit. A girl, dressed in witch garb, yet radiating hardly any arcane energy. Always sad to see those. The little girl from before, who should absolutely not have been left unsupervised. Tall, professional man. Either a full blown drunk, or a complete straight edge. Can't peg him yet. White haired girl, across the room. Also sitting alone, but looking rather sad about it. And, finally, a scruffy dude with a guitar case. Another thing Yuuko was used to seeing in the city. Weird group, and what was even weirder, was a thought that Yuuko held in the back of his mind, brought to the forefront by something the hot guy said; "Are all of you staying in this hotel too?"

Yuuko snorted. "Let me ask you a question, man. How'd you get here? Your question implies that you've never seen any of these fuckers before. I haven't either, and even I would remember if I had, despite the fucking cocktail of poison I consume every day." The green haired boy lazily turned to the rest of the group. "Did we all check in on the same day? Because this shit feels fucking wrong." He paused. "Also, before anyone wants to harp on me about being an ass... get me a straw, and I'll do the whole nice "hi, how are ya" thing with you bastards."

When she woke up, Mer realised she was having a dream, which handn't happened for several weeks. She closed her eyes shut a pair of times, just to make sure she wasn't still in Orpheo's land, and got up when she was proved wrong. She went straight for the tub, nagging herself for going to sleep in a hotel without doing so, or at least cleaning up her normal clothes. She ended up choosing the only nice-y clothes she had, somewhat of delicate silk, which weren't in a million ages suit for long travels. That was the only reason they didn't need a serious washing day, as most of the other ones.

It wasn't her fault, she told the voice in the back of her head, as she left the room and went down the stairs, wandering the halls of each floor. On the first floor was a dinning room, full of people. She scowled, all hope to be on her own as last night made her assume going down the drain. She... was alone last night, right? Was there more people? Was she that drunk? She proceeded to hear the last half of what a young boy was saying, which just reassured her last thought, and sent a shiver up her spine.

Meredith went straight to the table, circling around the group of people, and took a plate of some sort of meat she vaguely remembered having had before, along with a paper straw. She walked near his table, and aimed to hit him in the temple with a flying straw, looking bored. "Oi, it's too early to go around calling everyone a bastard. Here's a better question, did the same Red Lady bring you all to this place?"

Interactions: Kitt Kitt + Everyone

"Never too early to be calling people bastards, lady." Lifting his gaze from the table he was sitting at, Yuuko made eye contact with the blonde who called him out. "Never too early to get the shit beaten out of you, either. So fucking watch it." Yuuko snatched the straw up, beginning to chew on the end of it. "...And yeah, Red Lady. I'm sure it's the same story for everyone else."

He rose from his seat, and bowed dramatically.
"Since my... request has been fulfilled, here's the introduction. Yuuko Ishikawa. If you're from the city nearby, you've probably heard of me. More on the delinquent side, you've either bought from me or someone else, who also bought from me. In this case, thank you for your patronage." He drew out the last syllable, making sure the mockery in his tone was evident.

"If you're more on the law side... Laws don't apply here, so you can't arrest me. Heh." Yuuko stuck his tongue out, and chuckled to himself. It didn't seem to him that there were many hard asses present, but who knew what would come downstairs and present itself? Besides, making it clear that he wasn't interested in talking to people was always a main prerogative of his. Whether this actually worked or not was soon to be seen.

For now, it was time for Yuuko to get rid of his shakes.

Novus awoke from his slumber, his core fully recharged. He glanced out the window, staring at the sun-bathed streets of this tranquil town. Given the large hotel, he couldn’t help wondering if this was a vacation hotspot. At least, the various gauges integrated into him indicated the weather vaguely matched people’s descriptions of the weather in such places. “No use standing here,” he then told himself before dressing his genderless body in his immaculate white and tan garb.

While pulling on his boots, Novus ensured his knife sheath was secure around his left calf. He cocked his head to the side, wondering why he was still carrying weapons. His creators imbued him with martial prowess, so it was in his nature, he supposed. The construct finally fastened the boot and headed out, locking the door behind him.

Those who would observe him heading downstairs would notice Novus’ perfectly-measured gait; he almost marched with a rigid posture, not missing a beat when walking. However, he was moving slowly, taking in sights that seemed so foreign to him. What really fascinated him was the dining room; it looked nothing like the lunch halls at the school, so some may notice him looking over the decor in the room, green eyes widening in awe. He seemed oblivious to the conversations and threats being slung about.

I wasn't sure how long I had lingered here unconscious In this place, but It was long enough; now It was time to get back to work. After tucking the photo back Into the Inside pocket of my jacket I began sliding out from the booth before sauntering my way passed the other tables, fanning away the haze of cigarette smoke as I moved toward what seemed like the exit of this commodious establishment. All the while there was this very faint lingering, stench, that I couldn't seem to escape from. It was everywhere I went, It was like mildew and something repugnantly rotten. The aromatic smells of the food, alcohol, and the copious amount of cigarette smoke seemed to camouflage It, to an extent. But there was no way such a repulsive stench like this could ever be covered up, especially from my sensitive nose.

Striding a bit faster for the doors, I held my breath with a hand covering over my nose. I hoped the fresh air would free me from the suffocating hell. Until a young man harkened out as If to me, he was screaming sir a few times until he caught my attention. Looking over my shoulder I could see the bartender over at the bar waving to me.

"Excuse me sir, I believe you forgot your key!"

I furrowed my eyebrows bemusedly In a bit of a paused silence, before cautiously approaching. The boy handed over a single key to me as I reluctantly opened out my hand to him. "Deepest apologies sir I should of brought It to you sooner but.. It seemed like you were preoccupied In your booth and I didn't wish to disturb you. Good thing that lady found It for you though otherwise-"

"What lady ?" I bluntly Interjected and raised my hardened gaze from the key to him.

"Oh that lady In the pretty red dress... umm.. she was just, here a second ago... weird..hm I could've sworn she was sitting right over there." The bartender confusedly replied, displaying a discombobulated expression as he vacantly stared. Then he scratched his head In puzzlement, gesturing with a pointed finger to an empty stool chair at the corner end of the bar. My eyes followed to where he pointed but there was no one there, at least not anymore.

Someone was watching me? I puzzled at the thought.

Scrutinizing over the key, I saw that there was a 340 room number Imprinted on the wooden tag. "Do you know what hotel this key belongs to ?" I questioned, brandishing the key out firmly In my leather gloved hand.

"Oh of course sir, In fact It's the only hotel In all of Somnia. It's the Allucina," the boy jovially exclaimed with a certain warmth to his voice and what he said confirmed I was In the right place; now all I needed to do was find the girl.

"Do you know exactly where I can find this place ?" I briefly Inquired, phlegmatically as I tucked the key safely away Into one of my empty pockets.

"It's to the left right when you walk out of here and then you'll wanna keep going straight down until you see the huge sparkling establishment with a neon lit sign with It's name on It. Trust me theres no way you can miss It. The Allucina Is one of the biggest buildings In Somnia, but again that should be no surprise, after all only the most distinguishable guests get to stay there; I'm honestly a little jealous sir."

He went on again with the same jovial attitude and babbled a little longer than he really needed to; while I glanced at his name tag which read as Chad. He did look like a chad with that greasy blonde pompadour. Nearly finished giving me the directions to the hotel, I started noticing something strange, I couldn't hear his heart beat. In fact I realized I couldn't hear anyone else's heartbeat but my own. I glanced eerily at the others by the bar with a troubled countenance and then back to the overly chatty bartender. Either way the young man standing In front of me along with everyone else was an Illusion or he and everyone else were very lively looking corpses; or maybe, It was something In-between; It sure would explain why I could smell the faint nauseating scent of death all around me.

Surmising my current circumstance, things did not look good, but I've been In worst situations.

After Chad finished gabbing I somewhat sincerely but more so Insincerely replied back with,"Thanks... Chad." Then I left swiftly out the door and Into the town.

(Theme song)

The door closing shut behind me I turned forward and found myself standing before the radiance of a glowing city over flowing with the raucous cheers of people drinking, laughing, and dancing all throughout the cobblestone streets making merriment In vast crowds. For a moment my eyes were blinded from all the bright lights which seemed to emanate from all sorts of varied Japanese lamps which appeared everywhere I looked. Even starry night sky shown with beautiful sky lamps floating high above by the stone buildings by the dozens, ranging from an array of glowing colors.

giphy.gif
I admitted... real or not.. It was, a breathtaking sight to behold. I wasn't exactly sure what was happening here In this town, but It looked like a festival of some kind was happening tonight.

Letting out a deep sigh I whipped my hood over my head and began entering the crowded streets of Somnia. Pushing and shoving through the masses of sloshed merry makers. I did my best to squeeze through the gaps In their numbers as deftly as I could without smacking Into them. After a while I needed to change my direction towards a less crowded area so I could get a better feel for my surroundings. There was a nice spot by a small secluded alleyway to the left and so I decided escape there for a while. Memorizing the street signs and some of the more distinctive buildings, I searched for a less crowded route at the end of the alley as I wormed my fingers Into my back pocket. Snaking out my automatic cigarette holder I brandished out a black cig with a shake and began raising It to my lips, right until something caught the corner of my eye from the opposite street.

(Theme song)

For a moment I saw a pale skinned woman, wearing a blood-red dress, ambling passed the corner of the alley. I pushed the cig back Into the holder with my thumb and stashed It back Into my back pocket before I started tailing her. It couldn't have been a coincidence. Even If It was, I thought It couldn't hurt to check. I could use some answers and I was certain who ever this woman was, could provide that.

I continued to shadow her from a far enough distance so that she wouldn't catch wind of my presence; after some time It started to look like she was heading In the same direction as me before I started following her. She might of been taking the less crowded route to the hotel... or maybe she was just leading me there without my knowing; If that was case then I wouldn't have been too surprised.

After all she thats what she did the first time when I awoke In that place; she was waiting for me at the bar and made herself scarce when I got too close. That probably meant she was keeping her distance from me and she only got as close as she needed to, which also meant she would probably try to give me the slip the moment I let my guard down.

She started slithering her way Into a crowd marching In our opposite direction. This was It, but I wouldn't let her scurry away from me so easily. Suddenly she stopped.

I slowed my approach while keeping my eyes steady on her. Then she looked over her naked shoulder back at me with darkened eyes, sinisterly staring back at me from the crowd... her dark red lips curling Into a wicked sly smile before she maneuvered quickly out from the crowd and Into the next alleyway. I Pushed my way right through the hordes of people and broke Into a fast sprint after her. Darting through the dank and tenebrous alleyway I steadfastly pursued the mysterious woman.

I chased her throughout what seemed like a maze of alleyways Intersecting between the buildings, but to no avail. No matter how fast this old wolf was she'd somehow manage to be always twenty steps ahead of me and every time I got a little closer to her she'd turn down a different alley. She was undoubtably elusive as she was attractively mystique. I couldn't believe how swift she was moving In a red dress; maybe I was just getting old... nonsense I thought. This woman was just Inhumanly swift. Hell maybe she and everybody back at that club were a nest of nosferatu. The lack of heart beats and the smell of death were telling signs. It would fit the puzzle, If only those people back there weren't eating food. Well regardless of what she was, she was fast.

I followed her out an alley and Into the streets where she had vanished Into thin air. I snapped with two glances from left to right; she was nowhere to be seen. Looks like she was able to give me the slip; I grimaced with bitter taste disappointment. But this Is where being a werewolf came In handy. I respired deeply of the air and there was a faint scent In the wind; It was hers. Her scent carried a hint of lilac and... a bit of lavender. I was able to easily track her scent throughout the town, all the way to a large Illustrious hotel with a glowing neon sign which clearly read, "Allucina". Guess I was right on the mark.

Lucier Evergrend

They’re all lovely people. Very, very lovely people. Even that little angry ball of rage with the same hair color as his. How adorable, he’s like a furious little parrot! Or so was Lucier’s thoughts. His solitude in this hotel had been short-lived, but he quickly accepted that fact, pleasantly allowing the dining hall to resound with the voices of people coming in—some mixed with confusion, curiosity, excitement, and among others. Even though as far as he could recollect, he had just arrived at this hotel yesterday like everyone else, the hotel already felt home to him, for reasons even he’s confused himself. And not only a home, but a lonely one as well. Loneliness has always accompanied Lucier wherever he goes, especially after he lost his sister, so having this much people here brought him joy.
For the first girl who had entered after him into the dining hall, Lucier answered her with a warm smile. “The smell did get me here, certainly!” He beamed, watching as the rest of the events unfold. The angry green parrot yelling for a straw, got a straw, and proceed to assert his dominance in this place. There’s a weird feeling inside of him, however, that he couldn’t quite grasp. Not everyone’s here yet—somehow, he seemed to know. And there’s someone out there who’s trying to know what he’s not supposed to know. Know what? Lucier wasn’t sure. Moreover, that presence isn’t here in this dining hall yet. This random realization and knowledge that seemed to have mysteriously settled itself into his head made him feel a bit uneasy. Come here too, bubbles of anxiety began to grow inside him, and his eyes momentarily dilated. Don’t try to look for it. Just come here and have fun. These thoughts passed by his head as he stood by the window, finishing his plate of macaroni and cheese, before settling the dirty plate aside and picked up another plate of brown, chocolate cookies.

Good morning to all of you,” he said briefly, grinning from ear to ear.

It was nice seeing how easily these people were getting along and easing themselves to this place. Exchanging casual conversations and greetings, it’s exactly how meaningless those greetings are that made the atmosphere seemed so peaceful. Lucier personally wouldn’t recommend drinking alcohol so early in the morning, but he wouldn’t judge others on this matter. After letting out a breath, the green-haired gentleman left his position by the window before moving to a table slightly farther away and pulling out a chair. He nodded at the girl who was sitting next to him, someone who seemed to be isolating herself enough from the rest of everyone. “And hello to you too.” His tone was gentle and welcoming.

Why are we all standing? Let’s sit down and eat breakfast.” Proposing the idea, he clapped his hands to get everyone’s attention, gesturing for everyone to sit down at the same big round table that the girl was sitting at. “There doesn’t seem to be a lot of people in this hotel, and it felt like we’re all new to this place? Why don’t we discuss how we got here and later explore the town first? I was able to take a small look around last night before a lady in red took me here. It was bursting with energy even at night, I wonder how it’s like in the morning.

The table was large enough to fit them all in for now. There should be more people coming, a voice inside Lucier was saying, but he didn’t know who and when they’d come. His violet eyes glanced briefly at the entrance of the dining hall, his expression momentarily blank, before he resumed his smile at everyone, redirecting his attention.

Ah, right, Yuuko, if you ever need straw again, it’s right there by the center of the table, right next to the chocolate fountain,” suddenly, he blinked, and decided to answer the angry green-hair lad’s question first even if he already got a straw. Once one noticed it, that metal cup filled with straws are actually pretty obvious. “Also, the macaronis here are indeed very nice! I took a couple of it earlier. Don’t worry about it running out. It seemed to have been...Refilled, already?

Pointing his chin in the direction of the table, the plates that were originally almost running out of macaronis once again were stacked with those round goodies.

I wonder when they got refilled...

Did the waiters or waitresses filled them before he noticed? They must be so used to the job and became so effective at it that they didn’t even notice them.

Impressive! Lucier mused inside.

That aside, the gentleman cleared his throat and smiled at everyone.

My name is Lucier Evergrend, by the way. It’s nice to meet you all. Not all of us introduced ourselves yet? Looks like we’d be here for a while together, so I figure we should get to know each other.

How did he know that they’d be here for a while together?

Even Lucier doesn’t know himself.

The wandering construct’s inspection of this stunning dining room was cut short by this man directing others to sit down and have a conversation. Novus had no clue people gathered for such open discussions outside class sessions and business meetings. Where he came from, people tended to speak in a hushed tone over a meal. Life outside those walls truly fascinated him.

Novus took several measured steps towards the table, then seated himself to the right of this man inviting them all. “Good morning,” he greeted jovially, his voice carrying a faint metallic ring to it—a clear indication he wasn’t human. “I am Novus. It is a joy to find myself here; I had no idea I would stumble across such a town yesterday. Although... what town is this?” Clearly, he didn’t have the capacity to use contractions, either...

People came in as he opened his bottle. The small pop it made had him feeling comfort as he soon drank the liquid that was inside. He didn't reply to anyone who was asking questions or sending pleasantries of the day as it seemed more and more just came in. How many people were here? When a little girl offered him macaroons he accepted "Thank you," though he also wondered if one of these strangers was her parent so she was supervised. Well he guess he had his breakfast picked out for him. He didn't mind much as it meant he didn't have to go get it himself.

One of the kids who seemed to be a bit paranoid about the place. Though they did seem a bit too defensive for just coming down from a hotel room. Soon they introduced themselves as Yuuko. Nathan didn't remember this name. He also had too many patient to truly remember each one of their names. He doubted the kid was one. After the comment about law and buying from him he somewhat guessed the kid was probably into the more illegal side of things. He figured that would be a good enough reason to be paranoid. Shame when kids get into that. He'd hate himself if he found out his own kids had to resort to it. That being said he was still curious on how old the kid actually was. "Do you drink?" he asked Yuuko as he raised an eyebrow in question.

As he asked he glanced at Lucier when they introduced themselves and suggest sitting down to have breakfast. He figured he'd wait for everyone else to choose where ever they want as he didn't care where he would sit. He simple stood nearby as he ate the macaroon before downing it with the alcohol he had on hand. Listening to the other member as they said their name. Novus huh? He wondered if he was even going to remember everyone's name with how many people were here. "Well I guess I'll say morning too. I got here yesterday night and just went to sleep. I'm Nathan Theodor. You get hurt, you come to me. I didn't study to become a doctor to have it just be added onto my name," as he said this he moved one of his hands to rub his face. "With that said I'll probably go find a store that sells some things I need to really help anyone besides just tell them how bad it is," sighing he moved to lean back against the wall. "Beyond that I don't think there's much to say about myself," He didn't have much of an opinion on the others. He supposed that would change in time.

Novus couldn’t help feeling a mild unease at the doctor’s planning. “Doctor Theodor?” he called over to catch Nathan’s attention. “Are you anticipating trouble and physical harm?” The question was delivered innocently, as though a docile child—albeit with a wide vocabulary—had uttered it. Novus was picking up on people’s unease with the present situation; truth be told, he didn’t know what to think, either.

Vasco Lazaro, Hotel Allucina, Morning
One to make the first move, thereafter, he took up the habit of mulling over the reaction he received. More difficult given more people, it took him a bit longer than what might've been natural. Though the sweet treats being handed out was a good way to tug his mind out of the pit it dug itself.

Giving a smile, eyes crinkling he gave a shallow wave down to the child offering the confections, "I must decline, little Signorina, sugar this early is no good for the head." Neither was nicotine, but he wasn't talking about himself at the moment. It was obvious that he wasn't given much thought- which while it was good, given how odd he found everything else, still hurt his pride seeing as a good part of his livelihood What's left of it anyways was attracting attention. The common theme of a 'Red Lady' between them all stuck to him for reasons he didn't really understand. For now, he'd smile and nod along, because despite his hesitation he felt the town calling his name.

Everpresent, just out the doors.

——Sliding a chair out with a few squeaks against the flooring, he hopped on it, slinging his wooden case down next to his seat, wrapping a hand around it, the crook of his thumb and index finger resting on the top corner.

"Eh-" the titles and nicknames he thought up on the moment he kept just under the lip. A good impression was what he needed, and for a majority of people, someone who isn't brash off the bat scores just that one or two points.

"-Vasco Lazaro," Vasco spoke, a lilt carried by his cheerful demeanor, not an ounce of worry present in his voice. "a musician, spreading the joy of song to all around the globe.". He drummed his digits against the guitar case spouting a pretentious phrase that was first used back in Carpi, towards those against his leaving the country. Believing something like that was a pipe dream now, of course.

"A pleasure meeting you all... ladies in particular, no?" he chattered with a wink- Aah, he still ended up doing it. What was the phrase? 'Old habits die hard?' Possibly. It applied here, at the very least. Although none of them were particularly in his strikezone, obviously.

"It certaintly is!" Kanna said, smiling happily to the witch. "Sorry Kanna took all of it, but there were so little! It was -" Kanna looked at where the macarons were, and her eyes widened. There were more macarons on the dishes, with even more flavors now. There were even honeydew flavors sitting on top of the pile, which she didn't even know existed until then. She went there and inspected the plate - it just seemed like a silver plate, with no runes or magic circles engraved on its back. But how did the macarons get here if it wasn't conjured? She would have seen someone come and stockpile them.

Her thoughts were suddenly cut by a green-haired man demanding her for alcohol. She considered biting his thumb, just to prove that she wasn't some kind of butler, but the man quickly said, "Nevermind. Just... everyone shut the fuck up and eat some French pastries or whatever macrons are."

"They are not just French pastries!" Kanna said, indignant that someone would just sit there and insult her favorite treat like that. "They are very special cookies! And Kanna doesn't like people saying mean things like that!"

Another green-haired man, who seemed to be much nicer than the other one jabbering on, looked at the table and noted that it seemed to have been refilled already. Her attention drifted back to the strangeness of all of this again. These people, who seemed to be so different from each other, were all gathered here on who-knows-where and were talking as if this was all natural. Was it natural? It certainly wasn't, was it? But as soon as she popped in another macaron in her mouth, her worries melted away like ice on a hot asphalt. Surely there was a reason why they were all here, even if she didn't know about it yet.

Kanna's attention focused on Lucier as he cleared his throat. Once he asked for introductions, she promptly replied, "Kanna's name is - you guessed it - Kanna! And Kanna likes sweet treats and kittens!" She smiled at the prospect of kittens - she sure hoped this place would have some she can pet and feed.

“Good morning to all of you.” Yuuko rolled his eyes, sniffing slightly. The other green haired guy continued, and seemed to be trying to get everyone to... bond? “Why are we all standing? Let’s sit down and eat breakfast.” He waved everyone over after clapping his hands together, prompting a scoff from Yuuko. What a prick. “There doesn’t seem to be a lot of people in this hotel, and it felt like we’re all new to this place? Why don’t we discuss how we got here and later explore the town first? I was able to take a small look around last night before a lady in red took me here. It was bursting with energy even at night, I wonder how it’s like in the morning.” Red Lady, again. What the hell is going on in this hotel? In this town, even? “Ah, right, Yuuko, if you ever need straw again, it’s right there by the center of the table, right next to the chocolate fountain." Another scoff, but Yuuko begrudgingly muttered, "Thank you." Wasting no time, the rather upbeat man introduced himself formally. “My name is Lucier Evergrend, by the way. It’s nice to meet you all. Not all of us introduced ourselves yet? Looks like we’d be here for a while together, so I figure we should get to know each other.” Yuuko narrowed his eyes. Why does this guy talk like he knows more than the rest of them?

There were many questions running through his head, when another, different voice posed one aloud to the grungy boy; "Do you drink?" Yuuko tilted his head at the man, who seemed to be judging him. "Only when I have to," he replied casually. Alcohol certainly wasn't his favorite substance, but if he had to either be drunk or sober, he would always pick drunk. The man took a swig of whatever drink he had, and began to introduce himself. "Well I guess I'll say morning too. I got here yesterday night and just went to sleep. I'm Nathan Theodor. You get hurt, you come to me. I didn't study to become a doctor to have it just be added onto my name." Huh. Gonna make note of that. "With that said I'll probably go find a store that sells some things I need to really help anyone besides just tell them how bad it is."

Yuuko made another mental note to visit that store, as well.

More introductions made their way through the dining hall. One guy, a musician, introduced himself as Vasco Lazaro, and immediately began hitting on the women of the group. Fuckin' pig. Yuuko might have some... bad habits, per say, but he tended to wait at least an hour before making a move on pretty girls.

One more introduction so far. The little girl, who seemed very, very upset with Yuuko. "They are not just French pastries! They are very special cookies! And Kanna doesn't like people saying mean things like that!" Normally, he would reply with something on the scathing side of things, but it was more difficult to dunk on a young girl, especially one that spoke in third person, for some odd reason. She continued on, "Kanna's name is - you guessed it - Kanna! And Kanna likes sweet treats and kittens!"

Where the hell are this kid's parents?!

With a heavy sigh, Yuuko gave Kanna a glowering look, which promptly wilted at the sight of her enjoying macrons. Poor kid. Shouldn't be in a place like this, with people like this. As Yuuko looked around, he didn't see too many happy faces, other than the one weird guy who talked a lot and the pig. One girl had even isolated herself, though this seemed to have backfired, since she now sat next to Lucier, and everyone else who took up his offer of comradery. Finally, there was a spot where Yuuko could pitch into the conversation. "Hey, yeah, uh... before we get all buddy-buddy, I really think we should figure out what we all have... in common." He found it incredibly unnerving that everyone had come upon this town in one night, none of whom came together. Even worse, they were all led by a "Red Lady," who disappeared immediately after dropping them off at the hotel. "How can you all be making fucking pleasantries when literally NONE of us know how we got here? Are you fucking stupid?" Yuuko dragged his glare from the general group over to Lucier. "And I have a specific question for you." His heavily lidded eyes narrowed once more.

"What did you mean when you said we'd be here for a while?"

Killian Justitia | The Allucina | Status: Wondering If He's In A Horror Movie
Killian felt the glare thrown in his direction and turned to see a head of green hair and bloodshot eyes. Immediately, he could guess at why the need for a straw was so desperate. He knew the kid’s breed — there were plenty of the same among his childhood friend, though not many were left that were still alive and sane — and he especially knew that look. He’d seen it before in the eyes of pimps back when he still used to roam the streets at night. He arched a brow but didn’t address it.

How’d you get here? The boy’s question made him think. How did he get here? All he remembered from last night was the nightclub, being dragged to a shady party and a vision of a woman in red. Fucking wrong, indeed. The ominous feeling grew stronger and suddenly, his passing thought that they might have been brought here for a less than positive purpose seemed no longer a joke.

Before he could reply to the boy, another guest arrived, spurring on another bout of small talk. Killian glanced at the other man with green hair, though this one seemed anything but a punk, who took the lead. What did he mean by staying together for a while? Even weirder was the fact that nobody refuted it.

Off
, he thought, this one feels off too. Killian fought not to show his dismal on his face. This entire room was full of people that didn’t feel quite right. Funnily enough, he felt the least suspicious of the loud kid, Yuuko, because he seemed to be the only other one with actual doubts about where they were and why they were here, together despite the immediately obvious lack of connection among the group. Still, he kept his smile on.

“No idea how I got here, honestly, but my name’s Killian,” he greeted. “I’m a supermodel, though…” He paused, looking around at the gathered crowd of oddities, all dressed not-so fashionably, with some mirth,“none of you seem like you’d know me.”

When Yuuko raised the point that had been on his mind, Killian jumped on it and followed up with, “True, why would you say we’re here to stay? There anything we should know?”

Floella was just starting to wonder if there were guests other than her and the green haired boy staying in the hotel when others started filing in one after another. She watched one man walk right past and start looking for something, another asked for... straws? She smiled and nodded when the next man mentioned the weather "It is! I hope it keeps up" she said, finally having a situation she knew how to react to. After that she watched as the next people entered, smiling warmly and taking the macaron when it was offered to her "thank you very much" she said happily, admittedly feeling a little worry for the girl.

She enjoyed seeing the interactions between the people gathered while she nibbled the treat and was happy when Lucian prompted a round of introductions, though her enthusiasm was somewhat cut short as the others brought up their doubts of the town. Thoughts of doubt started to rise within her but she batted them away, this place was more reassuring to her than anywhere she had been in a long while. She forced the thoughts away along with the concern addressing if it was her own decision to do so or something brought about by the town. This place was safe, it had to be.

"My name is Floella-" she paused slightly and decided against using her family name "I also arrived last night. I met the Red Lady near the edge of town, I think" she gave a small embarrassed smile "I was pretty tired so I just followed her right here and fell asleep...sorry I can't be of more help".

Letting out a small laugh as one of the introductees tagged a flirty comment on to the end of his sentence, she quietly noted to pay closer attention to him. It wasn't that she was affected by it but more that the unfamiliar experience gave rise to caution for her and she wanted to be sure she didn't fall for any tricks, though admittedly he didn't seem like a bad person.

She smiled over at Kanna when she introduced herself too, saying the words she could see lingering on most people's lips "are you here with anybody? If not, you can come to me for anything you need" she said softly, patting the young looking girl gently on the head.

Making a mental note of all the other people gathered she offered her hand next to the girl "shall we go sit over there to eat? Surely those treats will taste better that way"
