Bio(optional): Reika was abandoned by her parents at the age of four. Despite being left all alone and forced to fend for herself or die, she never cried about it. She mostly kept to herself and avoided others, rarely showing herself. Of the very few she did come into some form of contact with, she had been ostracised by her ilk and she disliked the perverted men who stupidly tried following her down alleys. Despite the unwholesome encounters with the pervs being her only experiences with humans, she didn't hate humans. Reika, though reclusive, found other people to be interesting and developed a liking for people-watching. Despite watching people often, she never caught on to social norms, such as having any type of etiquette. At the age of twelve, a man who thought she was human due to her alluring "strange scent" brought her to a Ghoul Restaurant with the intention of turning her into a meal. She naïvely went along with him and, after being sent in a room with a human man, met Juuzou(who was Big Madam's pet at the time). She escaped soon after revealing she was actually a ghoul, the ghoul man who'd brought her freaking out after. This never really affected her in any way and she continued on with her usual doings, switching Wards every few weeks.


Personality/Demeanour(optional): She's rather eccentric and her mood can change at a moment's notice drastically enough to make it seem as if her entire personality had changed. She can be as sweet as her name implies one second, then the total opposite the next. Fortunately, she is usually in a good mood and certain people can control her to an extent(such as Juuzou and Kaneki). She is very curious and likes learning new things. She can be a bit naïve despite being quite intelligent and well-read, such as not knowing what underwear is from being abandoned at such a young age and in a way that wearing underwear became pointless. Even when saying or doing things others consider crazy, she has a somewhat innocent air about her due to her naïveté of social norms. She


finds people interesting despite usually avoiding them, and she will sometimes watch others at a distance. She has no concept of safety and will do dangerous things without a second thought, either just because it seems fun or because it's the first thing to cross her mind as a solution to a situation. She reads a lot and had taught herself to read sometime before her abandonment. She doesn't seem to understand logic very well, even when something she says is actually very logical to whoever's listening. She's a very emotional being, unable to control her own emotions. She doesn't like to kill unless necessary. She is very childish and has a habit of speaking in third person..

Bio(optional): Kazuki Akiyama's childhood was to say the least, unpleasant. And by that I mean one of his parents was a ghoul and the other was a human. His birth had been a miracle but the joy was short-lived. One of the doctors had found out Kazuki's father was a ghoul and contacted the CCG. Due to this, Kazuki's life has been pretty much a rollercoaster with no end in sight, constantly switching wards and locations, he rarely had time to make friends or any sort of relationship with anybody. However this all soon came to an end as his parents met their demise. Kazuki ended up getting involved in a ghoul fight in an alleyway which almost resulted in his death. His parents arrived shortly after and cleaned things up, what they didn't realize is that all this commotion had caused investigators to arrive. His father, fending the investigators off allowed Kazuki and his mother to escape. Shortly after, his father had a live execution broadcasted to the entire nation. With an emotionally wrecked mother, Kazuki only attended school for the education, not for friendships or relationships. After finishing high school, he took a break before he attended college and became some sort of a hit man to make some money, he only accepted offers that he deemed were for the greater good, i.e. someone who committed a nefarious deed or has done something that negatively affected people overall. He usually lurked around in the alleyways looking to pick up customers, this went on for a while at his own discretion until without his mother began to question what he was doing during this hiatus from school. In order to dispel the his mother's suspicions he stopped his line of work and went to college. At the moment he is currently working towards a degree and works part-time at a grocery store.


Personality/Demeanor(optional): Kazuki is very rational, realistic, logical, and meticulous. He looks at every situation for the most logical and efficient way to get results out of it. Some people may call him heartless but deep down inside he's trying his best to benefit everyone, even if it means hurting some people in the process. Due to this he comes across to people as a rather cold and emotionless person. He doesn't care about being understood, he only seeks to understand. This idealism is what pushes people away from him as they can't comprehend his thinking process behind his actions.

Bio: Ikoma was born as a hybrid, a rare occurrence among ghouls. He grew up living a life filled with secrecy, being raised by his father due to his mother's death during his birth. At the age of 7, Ikoma was abandoned by his father, or so he thought. After leaving young Ikoma to "hunt" during one night, the father of the small child didn't return. This left the boy all alone to fend for himself. The coming years proved grueling, but by holding on to a single quote he had from his mother, Ikoma survived. He transformed into an individual who had a cold heart, not wanting to let anyone in. This immense hatred and pain was demonstrated whenever a Ghoul or Human was graced with the chance to meet Ikoma in his Ghoul form; these victims learned the true meaning of heartless wrath. It was only recently, perhaps two years ago, that Ikoma developed a personality reflective of his lighthearted side. He pulled from the happiness he had while growing up with his father. While even those times were a struggle for Iko, he still felt that his life was perfect. Ikoma now operates as a Ghoul who maintains a split personality. His existence is that of a myth, and most aren't even aware that he is a hybrid. In fact, the most widely known thing about Ikoma is his alias.




Personality/Demeanor: Ikoma is a very warm and friendly individual. He has very high charisma, and possesses a strong level of wisdom. He is rarely ever seen getting angry, usually appearing either content, indifferent, or neutral in a manner that oftentimes looks very solemn. His personality can easily be classified as that of a sage, knowing very much about how to handle people and how to appropriately act in most situations. With that being said, Ikoma is also a bit of a pervert. While not outright about his thoughts, he still drops an innuendo here and there and can be caught looking where he shouldn't by females. Despite this somewhat off-putting fact, Ikoma is a very capable gentleman and can indulge in romance if the need arises.

When "hunting," Ikoma's personality changes entirely. He is cold and ruthless, those who encounter him often not even hearing him speak. This has earned him the Epithet of Wrath among those who have met him and lived to tell the tale. He leaves as quickly as he arrives and leaves no traces of himself behind. Bio(optional): Dru's parents died at a young age leaving him orphaned at a young age. Dru put off eating until he went on a frenzy and brutally murdered someone. This kept happening until one day Dru found a dojo and Dru saw the discipline that was involved so he decided to learn the fighting style that was taught there learning a fighting style called drunken monkey and ones similar to that and he factored that into his own fighting style. From that day on he meditated every day and only ate humans when he couldn't find a ghoul to eat.


Personality/Demeanour(optional): Dru is calm and reserved he likes to read lots and will talk for hours with people that interest him. Dru likes to sit and read while drinking coffee so he usually spends time in cafe's and if someone were to approach him and ask to talk he would probably indulge them since he is kind.

Bio: Growing up in the laid back presence of the 17th ward, Kaname had it easy as a ghoul for it bustled with people and not too many ghouls. She always found that being a ghoul was a laid back venture of ease, and her parents taught her the importance of embracing her ghoul aptitude. Her mother was a sweet woman who taught Kaname the wisdom of human society and how to blend in as if she herself was one. Her father on the other hand was a cruel man who despised humans and always did the dirty work of slaughtering them for his wife and daughter. That being said, Kaname has a particular interest in humans, and found it disgusting that they were the food she needed. She would spend hours studying on human sociology in the event that one day she and they would one alike. Life was simple and filled with innocence, that until a gang of ghouls invaded the 17th ward, killing off a huge chunk of the humans and ghouls in the area. Kaname was young at the time, and the gang realized her potential and took her in to one day use her as an asset. Her mother, however, was seen as weak and useless (unlike her father) by the gang and was killed off, leaving Kaname and her father to the gang.


Fast forward 6 years, Kaname has moved up the ranks within the gang and as cute as a girl she is, her fierce demeanor serves the gang well. However she's come to the point where she will one day have to kill a human for herself, something she has never done.


Personality: Kaname is cute, laid back girl up front, and for the most part she's exceptionally tolerable and patient. She uses her innocent, cute girl charm to draw men (particularly rival gang ghouls) in and then let her own gang do the dirty work. Because of this innocent look and her study on humans, she can blend in well in human interface as if she herself was a human. Despite being a ghoul, she's extremely tolerable to human food and doesn't have as bad as a taste compared to other ghouls. To an extent, Kaname is ashamed of being a ghoul, and rarely ever does she use her kagune (she lets the other gang members do that) But when the going gets tough, she can put on a fierce attitude and is relentless with it. This makes her somewhat emotionally prone and she herself is quite vulnerable and sensitive emotionally. In addition, she's often known to being a compulsive liar by habit, beings that it helps her get close to people and weak ghouls.

She uses her innocent, cute girl charm to draw men (particularly rival gang ghouls) in and then let her own gang do the dirty work. Because of this innocent look and her study on humans, she can blend in well in human interface as if she herself was a human. Despite being a ghoul, she's extremely tolerable to human food and doesn't have as bad as a taste compared to other ghouls. To an extent, Kaname is ashamed of being a ghoul, and rarely ever does she use her kagune (she lets the other gang members do that) But when the going gets tough, she can put on a fierce attitude and is relentless with it. This makes her somewhat emotionally prone and she herself is quite vulnerable and sensitive emotionally.

Bio:

This has caused her to be wary of strangers and it takes time for anyone to get to know her human or Ghoul. Bones has been marked as an SS rated Ghoul and refuses to hide herself or try to blend into human society but she will sometimes hide her bones in her pocket or something and disguise herself but she is always easily recognized despite attempts due to her Unique scent since she is known to eat pure sugar, she can't eat any human foods whatsoever but pure sugar is something she can't get enough of. Other Ghouls say she smells a sickening sweet, like human candy or soda pops or other such sugary things that taste disgusting. Bones is thought by most humans and investigators to actually be a male because she has never been seen by the CCG out of her huge reaper-like cloak and they have never heard her speak. Evelyn’s Kagune, wings with multicolored feathers in shades of blue and purple, was inherited from her mother. Despite her short temper, Evelyn would never use her Kagune for petty reasons such as picking a fight or getting even with someone, she usually ever just uses it to hunt for food and defend herself. Her fighting style takes after her mother as well, using acrobatic moves to dodge attacks and or to help initiate using her Kagune. Evelyn usually crystallise her Kagune, delivering a high speed torrent of crystals at her target. She can’t, however, use her wings as a shield since they aren’t sturdy enough; deflecting light attacks is possible though. When in a fight, Evelyn usually goes for the kill immediately seeing as her Kagune uses a lot of RC and her stamina is lower than that of a normal ghoul so she gets tired easily. For her, the start of fights is usually the ending as well since she rarely gives an opposing party the chance to fight back (if her skills are above their’s). Fight quick and hard, that’s her philosophy when facing others.

To anyone who lived in 14th Ward, it was no secret that it was like hell on earth; if it wasn't Ghouls eating humans, it was Ghouls eating Ghouls- everyone was a walking dish waiting to be eaten, no one was safe. These were the exact sentiments of Evelyn’s parents, Shiro and Akane Koizumi, even more so when they had decided they wanted to start a family. After all a Lost Ward was no place to raise a child. Despite the fact that they were Ghouls, both of the adults were not as insane or sadistic like the many in their community- in fact they quite liked observing humans and enjoyed the things they had to order (besides their flesh, that is). So when they had found out Akane was pregnant, they wanted out of the Cannibal’s Ward; they wanted to start a new, and so they moved into 20th Ward. There the female Ghoul gave birth to a baby boy they named Nate and a few years later, a baby girl named Evelyn.

Evelyn as a child had a relatively normal childhood (well as normal as a Ghoul’s childhood could be) and she grew up with humans mostly. She was often teased about her hair and her freckles by other kids- but besides that she had little problems as a kid. It was no secret to her either that she was different from them, that she was a Ghoul; both her parents made sure to educate her and her older brother about their differences and what they really were. Her outlook on humans didn’t change though, she still liked them- even her best friend was human. Since they had talked about this to them at a relatively young age- both of them had little problem wrapping their minds around the idea, or so they thought.

Her parents were not naïve into thinking that just because they were in the safest Ward, doesn’t mean they were in fact ‘safe’ either. So when they were of proper age, they taught her their kids how to hunt and fight for themselves- and to effectively do that they had to be in real life or death situations so they were taught in one of the most dangerous Ward and the former home of her parents: 14th Ward. At first, Evelyn thought she was okay with the fact they ate humans but it wasn’t until her first hunt did the gravity of it all hit her like a ton of bricks. Seeing someone get murdered right in front of her very eyes, it was a huge shock to her. These were the people she was around 24/7, it could’ve been her neighbor, or teacher or even classmate- that thought scared her and despite the fact she still agreed to learn how to fight- she decided to only ever eat when she was starving.

Growing up in a deadly Ward had its perks: It taught both Shiro and Akane how to fight and how to fight well. All the skills they acquired, from fighting styles to survival tips, were passed onto to Evelyn and Nate. Now Evelyn strangely enough, compared to other Ghouls, was unusually sickly- or rather her stamina was lower than that of an average Ghoul, a fact that made her parents anxious. After realizing that maybe their daughter’s physical state was not fit enough to partake in harsh training, they ultimately made her stop joining when she was 13, to which Evelyn harshly protested to. Even as a child, Evelyn had been stubborn- she didn’t want to be babied, she didn’t want to be looked down on especially by her parents just cause she got tired easily; her parents had always looked at her as an equal, the fact they decided to treat her any different hit her hard. It was only after an unexpected incident did Evelyn truly wished they hadn’t done that.

One night, at the age of 14 their home was ambushed by Investigators roaming the area- they rarely ever went to 20th Ward, so never in their wildest dreams did they expect to be found. Evelyn’s father had told them to make a run for it while he distracted the two Doves- something they didn’t want to do because no matter how good he was there was no way he could beat two Specialists on his own. Inevitably, however, Akane made the choice to drag her two kids away as the fight broke out. She went to the only place they could hide in, their old apartment in 20th Ward. They never saw Shiro again after that night and that triggered Evelyn to ask her mother to continue teaching her how to fight. The frustration and anger was evident in her voice that eventually Akane agreed once again to teach her how to fight. What Evelyn lacked in stamina, she made up with her skills as a fighter- a talent she may have inherited from her mother.

Since that incident the three started living in 14th Ward seeing as they needed to keep a low profile. They made life go on the best they can; Evelyn and Nate still went to school and Akane would still go to work. It was around this time she met Felix Bertrand. She found him completely odd at first and would often violently retaliate against his frivolous actions, but eventually they became friends. She taught him about humans and their culture, something that piqued his interest. Ever since the Investigator incident, however, Evelyn started developing mixed feelings for humans.

Everything was slowly going back to normal and she was trying her best to piece herself back together despite the big change that occurred in her life. Things made another sharp turn for her, however, when at the age of 17 she witnessed one of her classmates, her best friend, getting devoured by another ghoul. Something in her snapped and she killed the Ghoul in fit of rage. After that she fell to the floor and as she stared at the corpse of her friend, her mind reeled in confusion: She liked humans, but she needs to eat them but Humans kill people like her because they want to live. Then something in her mind clicked in understanding: This was all just a series of unfortunate fate. The strong kill the weak and the strong survives. The circle of life. And she absolutely hated it, because even if she survived if it was at the cost of innocent people, she wouldn’t be truly happy.

Fast forward to the present date, she is now going to university but unlike before she no longer becomes emotionally close towards humans and merely enjoys their culture quietly. She has gotten used to her life in 14th Ward as well, but she can’t help but feel some sort of disgust for the cannibals that reside in it.​

She is easily teased and annoyed, at times even lashing out if one manages to push her buttons waaaay too far. She has a usual ‘bitch face’ on even when she’s not necessarily angry. Her harsh attitude, however, can be a good indication on how close she considers someone; If she's openly violent with a person chances are she either really likes or really dislikes the person. Even though she doesn't like forging close relations with others, the few who do become her friend would gain her loyalty and trust. This says a lot seeing as she has a good sense of judgment when it comes to other’s character; she won’t be easily tricked by false smiles or kind gestures. This may make her seem overly cautious at times, but it was better to be safe than sorry. Not one to be narrow-minded tries her best to look at things in different perspectives. A trait she learned through her parents, which in turn made her more open about her interest with humans. She is expressive and honest- rarely will she ever sugarcoat the harsh truth to anyone since she sees it as a pointless thing to do. Life is a bitch, get over it and move on. + Shiro Koizumi || Father (deceased)- Cheerful and fun- loving, Shiro would be the last person anyone would expect to be a Ghoul. She shared a lot of interests with her father, which resulted to them being close, so his death was like a punch to gut for her. Her only regret right now was that when he had died, she was still angry and bitter about being forbidden to fight, so she never got to make up with him.


+ Akane Koizumi || Mother - Her mother was a stern teach to both her and her brother, but at the same time a gentle mother. She had been through so much at this point that Evelyn couldn’t help but feel admiration for the woman. During her younger years, Akane earned quite the reputation for being an extremely violent Ghoul, a reputation that still sticks to her to this day, despite having mellowed down significantly. She’s currently employed as an English teacher in a middle school.




+ Nate Koizumi || Brother- Her brother has a bit of a mischievous side, but besides that the two siblings got along just fine. He does, however, worry about her physical well-being often and as much as she is touched by his concern, she refuses to be coddled by him. + Felix Bertrand - The only Cannibal she has befriended thus far. Despite his flirtatious and overly-touchy attitude, she cherishes her friendship with him a lot seeing as she met him around the time her father passed away. Having a friend (or simply having someone to talk to) was a great help for her to cope with her loss. To add to that, he didn’t treat her any different when he found out she was sickly for a Ghoul- he was his same old self. + Sato Shiragami- He saved Evelyn during one of those days she was near crazy from not eating human flesh for a long period of time (even if he did force feed her), it was the night her friend got killed- and when she was almost tempted to eat her she sprinted and bumped into him. Evelyn’s Kagune, wings with multicolored feathers in shades of blue and purple, was inherited from her mother. Despite her short temper, Evelyn would never use her Kagune for petty reasons such as picking a fight or getting even with someone, she usually ever just uses it to hunt for food and defend herself. Her fighting style takes after her mother as well, using acrobatic moves to dodge attacks and or to help initiate using her Kagune. Evelyn usually crystallise her Kagune, delivering a high speed torrent of crystals at her target. She can’t, however, use her wings as a shield since they aren’t sturdy enough; deflecting light attacks is possible though. When in a fight, Evelyn usually goes for the kill immediately seeing as her Kagune uses a lot of RC and her stamina is lower than that of a normal ghoul so she gets tired easily. For her, the start of fights is usually the ending as well since she rarely gives an opposing party the chance to fight back (if her skills are above their’s). Fight quick and hard, that’s her philosophy when facing others.

To anyone who lived in 14th Ward, it was no secret that it was like hell on earth; if it wasn't Ghouls eating humans, it was Ghouls eating Ghouls- everyone was a walking dish waiting to be eaten, no one was safe. These were the exact sentiments of Evelyn’s parents, Shiro and Akane Koizumi, even more so when they had decided they wanted to start a family. After all a Lost Ward was no place to raise a child. Despite the fact that they were Ghouls, both of the adults were not as insane or sadistic like the many in their community- in fact they quite liked observing humans and enjoyed the things they had to order (besides their flesh, that is). So when they had found out Akane was pregnant, they wanted out of the Cannibal’s Ward; they wanted to start a new, and so they moved into 20th Ward. There the female Ghoul gave birth to a baby boy they named Nate and a few years later, a baby girl named Evelyn.

Evelyn as a child had a relatively normal childhood (well as normal as a Ghoul’s childhood could be) and she grew up with humans mostly. She was often teased about her hair and her freckles by other kids- but besides that she had little problems as a kid. It was no secret to her either that she was different from them, that she was a Ghoul; both her parents made sure to educate her and her older brother about their differences and what they really were. Her outlook on humans didn’t change though, she still liked them- even her best friend was human. Since they had talked about this to them at a relatively young age- both of them had little problem wrapping their minds around the idea, or so they thought.

Her parents were not naïve into thinking that just because they were in the safest Ward, doesn’t mean they were in fact ‘safe’ either. So when they were of proper age, they taught her their kids how to hunt and fight for themselves- and to effectively do that they had to be in real life or death situations so they were taught in one of the most dangerous Ward and the former home of her parents: 14th Ward. At first, Evelyn thought she was okay with the fact they ate humans but it wasn’t until her first hunt did the gravity of it all hit her like a ton of bricks. Seeing someone get murdered right in front of her very eyes, it was a huge shock to her. These were the people she was around 24/7, it could’ve been her neighbor, or teacher or even classmate- that thought scared her and despite the fact she still agreed to learn how to fight- she decided to only ever eat when she was starving.

Growing up in a deadly Ward had its perks: It taught both Shiro and Akane how to fight and how to fight well. All the skills they acquired, from fighting styles to survival tips, were passed onto to Evelyn and Nate. Now Evelyn strangely enough, compared to other Ghouls, was unusually sickly- or rather her stamina was lower than that of an average Ghoul, a fact that made her parents anxious. After realizing that maybe their daughter’s physical state was not fit enough to partake in harsh training, they ultimately made her stop joining when she was 13, to which Evelyn harshly protested to. Even as a child, Evelyn had been stubborn- she didn’t want to be babied, she didn’t want to be looked down on especially by her parents just cause she got tired easily; her parents had always looked at her as an equal, the fact they decided to treat her any different hit her hard. It was only after an unexpected incident did Evelyn truly wished they hadn’t done that.

One night, at the age of 14 their home was ambushed by Investigators roaming the area- they rarely ever went to 20th Ward, so never in their wildest dreams did they expect to be found. Evelyn’s father had told them to make a run for it while he distracted the two Doves- something they didn’t want to do because no matter how good he was there was no way he could beat two Specialists on his own. Inevitably, however, Akane made the choice to drag her two kids away as the fight broke out. She went to the only place they could hide in, their old apartment in 20th Ward. They never saw Shiro again after that night and that triggered Evelyn to ask her mother to continue teaching her how to fight. The frustration and anger was evident in her voice that eventually Akane agreed once again to teach her how to fight. What Evelyn lacked in stamina, she made up with her skills as a fighter- a talent she may have inherited from her mother.

Since that incident the three started living in 14th Ward seeing as they needed to keep a low profile. They made life go on the best they can; Evelyn and Nate still went to school and Akane would still go to work. It was around this time she met Felix Bertrand. She found him completely odd at first and would often violently retaliate against his frivolous actions, but eventually they became friends. She taught him about humans and their culture, something that piqued his interest. Ever since the Investigator incident, however, Evelyn started developing mixed feelings for humans.

Everything was slowly going back to normal and she was trying her best to piece herself back together despite the big change that occurred in her life. Things made another sharp turn for her, however, when at the age of 17 she witnessed one of her classmates, her best friend, getting devoured by another ghoul. Something in her snapped and she killed the Ghoul in fit of rage. After that she fell to the floor and as she stared at the corpse of her friend, her mind reeled in confusion: She liked humans, but she needs to eat them but Humans kill people like her because they want to live. Then something in her mind clicked in understanding: This was all just a series of unfortunate fate. The strong kill the weak and the strong survives. The circle of life. And she absolutely hated it, because even if she survived if it was at the cost of innocent people, she wouldn’t be truly happy.

Fast forward to the present date, she is now going to university but unlike before she no longer becomes emotionally close towards humans and merely enjoys their culture quietly. She has gotten used to her life in 14th Ward as well, but she can’t help but feel some sort of disgust for the cannibals that reside in it.​

Quinque: Woe - A powerful quinque made from a Chimera Ghoul’s Koukaku and Ukaku Kagune. It can rapidly change from a long, thin blade, to a strong shield. In either mode, it can discharge lethal barbed shards that catch into a ghoul’s skin and detonate.

While Chirin had never known his father, he used to live with his mother and her side of the family in the 14th Ward. The 14th Ward was, and still is, a dangerous place, so his mother told him never to go outside alone. Despite the danger present throughout his babyhood, Chirin lived a happy and carefree life. His cousins played with constantly, ensuring that he was never sad or lonely. Their poverty never brought them down, even if it meant that they could never really escape the 14th Ward. But, good things never last long.


Their home was never as safe as they actually believed it to be. When Chirin was three years old, an SS-rated ghoul entered their home, and proceeded to murder every living person inside. The only reason Chirin survived was because he hid underneath his mother’s corpse. The SS-rated ghoul, with the epithet Woe, did not even bother consuming the corpses of his family. When the CCG finally came, it had already been too late. Chirin joined the CCG Junior Academy, becoming one of their Wards.


His time at the Academy was short and lonely. He did not stand out, nor did he make any significant friendships. His restlessness grew, and Chirin impulsively decided to go after the ghoul that murdered his family. He was only five years old.


Chirin showed up 10 years later at the CCG with Woe’s corpse in hand. He never talks about the years he spent away. He was given by permission by Chairman Washuu to join the field, despite having not gone to the Investigator Academy. Chirin is noted to be extremely talented in battle, despite being a “rookie.”
