  Ukyo Akihito has a lean, slightly muscular build, built mainly for running and speed, with strong legs. He has messy, stark, jet-black hair with bangs that reach his nose. When his kagune is inactive, he has deep, chestnut brown colored eyes that are usually hidden behind his dark bangs. When his kagune is active, his scleras go black, and his pupils turn a crimson red, like all other ghouls. He has Japanese facial features, and a strong jawline. On his upper right arm, he has a black pattern tattoo that spirals up to his shoulder. His skin is also very pale due to his lack of exposure to sunlight. He's a night owl, almost exclusively hunting at night, and sleeping during the day.
  
  
  Ukyo's wardrobe consists of dark black, black and light gray. He is a firm believer in hoodies, and almost always wears them. He prefers long sleeves over short sleeves, and when he puts his mask on he'll also put his hood up.   Ukyo has a reputation for being sadistic, uncaring, and hateful. He seems like he never wants anyone around him. In reality, it's because he doesn't want people getting close to him. He pretends he doesn't care about you or your life. He'll say harsh things, or even try to avoid talking to you altogether. He pushes people away from him, and tells himself he prefers the solitude.
  
  
  Ukyo does not discriminate between human and ghoul, but he does pity both species for different reasons. He is well aware both species have the ability to love, to feel pain (both emotional and physical), and care about others. However, he must still eat humans, as that is the only source of food for a ghoul. That one of the reasons he pities both species, humans because they get eaten, and ghouls because they are forced to eat humans. He also pities them both for not understanding each other.
  
  
  Despite this, he keeps himself in solitary, and though it's not what he wants, he tells himself it's for the best... But what about that sadistic, uncaring, hateful reputation? That is because he hates the CCG. Like your typical ghoul sob story, his family was killed by the CCG. What's more, the CCG feels no pity for ghouls, and they are what lead many ghouls to believing humans are the monsters. The CCG uses ghoul body parts to kill ghouls. It disgusts him. The CCG caused him the most pain by killing those closest to him, so he acts hateful, rude, and uncaring about anyone, so no one will get close and the CCG can't rip his heart out, again.
  
  
  Depression is also a big part of Ukyo's personality. He is always depressed, always upset, always crying on the inside. When alone, all he can do is torture himself with his sadness. When others are around, he is angry and harsh towards them to get them to leave him alone. The only times he is not like this is when he is hunting.

  Ukyo Miyazaki Akihito was born in Kyoto, Japan, as the child of Izaya Yujiro Akihito and Hikaru Takahashi Akihito. He also had a little sister, born five years after him, named Hisa Akahito. Around the time Hisa was born, their family moved away from Kyoto to Tokyo, Japan, as they had run into some trouble with a local gang of ghouls.
  
  
  Shortly after arriving in Tokyo, both his parents were killed by the CCG. A five year old Ukyo and a one year old Hisa were now on the run. However, being so young, he wasn't able to feed them both, as it was extremely hard to kill humans at his age, and he couldn't use his kagune effectively. Eventually, Hisa dies of starvation, and he came close to dying also.
  
  
  To this day, he blames himself for his little sister's death.
  
  
  For the next nine years, he taught himself to live in the dark. He slept outside, under bridges, in abandoned buildings, or anywhere else he could find during the day. At night, he was active. He learned to go about the city undetected, hiding in the shadows, staying to the rooftops, or blending in with the crowds. he became like a ghost, a shadow, undetectable at night. He was determined, no matter what, that he wouldn't die to the CCG. During this time, he was always alone. He never communicated with others, ghoul or human alike. When he killed a human once or twice a month for food, it was swift and over with instantly in a dark alley. He turned into a rumor, not quite a legend, among ghouls and humans alike. The "Ghost-child," they called him.
  
  
  Then, when he was fourteen years old, he met a girl, a human, in a park one night. He wasn't, and still isn't, quite sure what exactly happened. Whatever it was, he fell in love at first sight. Cheesy, yes, but he couldn't help it. At first, he ran from her, knowing no good could ever come of being with her. Still, he started noticing her throughout the city. Tokyo, a giant city with hundreds of thousands of people in it, and he kept seeing this girl night after night. Not only that, they were both teenagers. What was she doing up so late every night? She wasn't a ghoul, he was sure of it... Or at least he thought so. One could never be truly sure, unless they see a Kagune. Regardless, he still sees her from time to time, but it's been five years since that night he saw her.
  
  
  Over the last six years or so, Ukyo has been hunting CCG members. He started off only killing rookies, newbies and the like. Weak prey who he could kill quickly with ease before they knew to even be on their guard. Ukyo attacks investigators that go out at night. He especially prefers assassination and ambush in alleyways as it's easy to get over with and kill them quickly. I'm sure you see a pattern. Ukyo prefers not to fight, especially long, drawn out fights. However, this does not mean he is incapable in such a situation. If he were to be in a fight, rather than just try to ambush someone, he would still attempt to end it quickly, aiming for vitals and not relenting, nor would he leave time to talk. He'd just kill mercilessly and without a second thought. It is said that, over the years, many a ghoul have tried taking down the Dark Angel so they'd be considered stronger, yet the Dark Angel still lives today.

  Ukyo has no real huge goals in life. He wants to find the girl he "fell in love with." He would also like to see the CCG fall, though he sees that as an impossible and foolish dream.
  
  
  Ukyo spends a lot of time killing CCG members. As they chase lesser ghouls, or when they find themselves in a dark alleyway alone, the Dark Angel takes their life before they know what hit them. Ukyo prefers to assassinate the CCG members, instead of fighting them. Because of this, the CCG has him listed as a SS ghoul, for killing so many of their members, even if the members he kills are usually low ranked. If Ukyo was given the hope of destroying the CCG would he cling to that hope? Yes, but he wouldn't let it cost him his life. He wants the CCG to fall, because they killed his family, but he will not commit suicide over it.

  Ukaku - Ukyo's Ukaku Kagune is almost exclusively black, save for thin veins of red running through the "wings." The Kagune exits his back and spreads out from the shoulder area. Like all Ukaku Kagune, it has a "normal" appearance and a "crystallized" appearance. When it's normal, it flows out in the shape of black angel wings, but when it crystallizes it all clumps together, becomes thinner as it's less spread out, and becomes jagged and sharp. The Ukaku is lightweight and specializes in quick combat. Because of this, Ukyo is very fast and strikes quickly. The Ukaku Kagune, as long as it is active, decreases the user's stanima rapidly. Because of this, Ukyo doesn't like to toy with his victims, or linger in a fight. He strikes to kill and to end things quickly. Ukaku Kagune can also harden and the shoot off parts of the kagune. Acting as crystal projectiles, these bits of Kagune tend to resemble feathers when shot from him.

  Ukyo's fighting style is extremely aggressive. He doesn't mess around, and he almost exclusively aims for vitals or aims to incapacitate his foe as quickly and/or quietly as possible. When he's assassinating someone in an alleyway it is not uncommon for him to just put a few crystallized Ukaku projectiles in their head and neck. from behind, while he's standing on a rooftop over the alleyway. If he gets in a fight with a lot tier ghoul or investigator, he often times just gets behind them with extreme speed, and lands an underhand jab on their back, destroying the spine and rupturing the lungs and heart. When he fights a foe that is actually somewhat competent and able to hold their own against him, he doesn't enjoy or savor the fight. In fact, it gives him even more incentive to finish the fight as quick as possible. To put crystallized kagune in their face and chest, or to break their guard and land a skull-fracturing kick are preferrable. Sweeping their feet out from under them with his own leg, and then curb-stomping their faces also works. Regardless, Ukyo will always prefer ranged attacks over melee combat. Only when it's shown the opponent can easily dodge or block his projectiles will he come in with deadly fists.
  
  
  ? || Strengths || ?
  
  
  Ukyo's strengths are few, but they are great strengths. Long range combat is his strength. So too is the element of surprise. Many ghouls he fights are surprised to find him attempting, or succeeding, to decapitate them on his first move in the battle. His speed is also a strength, he is able to dodge attacks, and strike before his attacks can be dodged or blocked. In short range, he can also curl his Kagune and then harden it along his arms, and use it as a blade reminiscent of a Koukaku Kagune, though sharp, this isn't an effective strategy most of the time in a fight due to the Ukaku's brittle nature, this can be useful for surprise attacks however.
  
  
  ? || Weaknesses || ?
  
  
  Ukyo's weaknesses are many, but lesser weaknesses.Though the Ukaku-type Kagune is suitable for both long and short ranged combat, short ranged is the weaker of the two. First of all, he can't take many hits, as he doesn't have great endurance or pain tolerance. Secondly, though he can land powerful punches and kicks, if he is close enough to do so he is also close enough that he will have to dodge his enemy's punches, kicks and slices. Dodging over and over while also throwing punches and swinging kicks can be tiring, which brings us to another weakness; Stamina. The Ukaku Kagune, when active, drains his stanima very, very quickly in exchange for his immense speed. Also in close range, blocking is an issue. Though the Ukaku Kagune is able to harden and form a shield, it is brittle and cannot take very much punishment. With all of this taken into consideration, he can't last a long time in a drawn-out battle and may be forced to retreat if necessary.
  
  
  Also, Koukaku Kagune are very effective at blocking his Ukaku attacks, and they piss him off.
  
  
  ? || Eating Habits || ?
  
  
  Ukyo, strangely enough, has modest eating habits. He mostly kills CCG and weaker ghouls for sport, but often doesn't eat the CCG (and never eats the ghouls). He rarely kills innocent humans, and when he does he makes it a quick and painless death, and he doesn't waste any meat so he can go longer without having to injure another innocent. When he kills CCG, it's a different story. Though his CCG deaths are still rather quick and painless, he tends to only eat half of the CCG member's body. It's sort of a signature of him, a harbringer of death who leaves half of the victim left to be recognized.

  His mask resembles a Japanese Oni Demon, to further enhance his appearance of an Angel/Demon/Deity of death. His mask looks like this, but completely black, instead of silver.

Also damn, someone took Izaya face claim already. It's not like the pictures of his family are important anyways, just a detail I decided to add. I'll use Senji from Deadman Wonderland as his father's picture, then.
