Fantasy "Together, We're Unlimited" {RP Thread}

(On it!)

Fire. That was the last clear thing Seraphina could remember about last night. The rest was a blur, unclear and difficult to remember. Yet there was fire. Shining clearly in her memory as though it was burning brightly in fog. And then darkness… which proceeded to be interrupted by the sound of bird chirps.

A soft groan escaped Seraphina’s lips as she opened her eyes. Only to squint as she was bombarded by a wall of bright golden rays, warranting her to shield her eyes with her hand. Jeez did she leave the window open? So much for a smooth awakening.

Sighing tiredly, Seraphina blinked a few times, keeping her hand up so her vision could adjust to the light. Only to realize she was not in her bed but in the middle of a forest, right in the middle of a small patch of burnt of grass.

“WHAT THE?” Seraphina exclaimed as she jolted upright, shaken awake by this realization. Question were quick to flood her head as her eyes bounced between everything that surrounded her. How did she get here? Why was she passed out in the middle of this place? Why was the grass burnt? And most importantly… where was she even?

A question that run through her head as she stood up, still gazing around with a confused and wide-eyes expression as she processed how she had no idea where to go.

(Hope it’s all good and if there’s anything I need to edit, feel free to let me know!)

(Oh wait I just realized this is the RP thread. We should make an OOC thread or discord server so our discussion won't clutter the RP)

(And here's the thread!)

"Are you alright? They didn't hurt you?"

When Cor stumbled across the unconscious girl, she was being set upon by some unsavory men. Maybe they were about to rob her, or maybe something far worse. He didn't stop and ask; He simply swooped in and took care of them with his sword. They fled, and he stayed behind to keep watch over her. The others would surely worry about him if he stayed too long. He didn't want to leave her while she was in this state.

"I am the Blood Moon, a downpour of red" said Zen as he opened his eyes to the sight of a dozen heavily armed warriors. Despite his best attempts to remain relatively hidden. He seemed to have attracted the attention of hunters. While unfortunate for his comrades. This was a blessing to the thirsting vampire. As they began to approach him with their weapons at the ready. Zen slowly unsheathed his blade. The cold metallic weapon caught the sunlight that breached through the trees. Remaining absolutely still as the woods grew silent. He was suddenly attacked from the side by a large cleaver. Catching the weapon with his left hand. Zen drew his sword across the attackers stomach, spilling the mans guts. Set upon by four more combatants. He threw his weapon into the skull of the first, vivisected the second with their own knives, then finally reclaimed his sword to bisect the last two. Blood spattered across his face, gently dripping onto the forest floor. Some of the Hunters backed away in fear. "Like lambs to the slaughter" uttered Zen as he sadistically smiled at his foes.

Taking the initiative and sprinting at them. Zen deflected crossbow bolts sent his way with remarkable speed. Leaping into the air and gripping his sword between the folds in his boot. He became a death wheel, rapidly spinning with enough force to slice through two men. Leg sweeping a spearman and kicking him skyward. Zen sliced the hapless fool into bloody chunks in front of his associates. Grabbing his victims heart and squeezing it. A spurt of blood went down his throat. Backflipping over the swing of a large axe. Its wielder was swiftly decapitated, her head used as a ball by the vampire who cut it off. Kicking it into the arms of their leader. Zen beckoned them to come at him. The last of their flunkies came full force at him, despite what they had seen. Sheathing his blade and biding his time. Zen deflected both of their attacks, using the window of opportunity to cut open one and tear the heart out of the other. Topping up his blood supply with the generous donation. Zen cleaned his sword before sheathing it once more. The leader of these monster hunters stared at him before attempting to run away. This proved to be a fruitless endeavor as a massive spike formed from the blood of their inferiors, skewering the leader from bottom to mouth.

"I wonder what Rhia's doing" asked the sated vampire as he walked away from the carnage...

Rhiannon

"Typical Zen, very un-zen at handling people." Rhia put down her spyglass after watching the carnage Zen just made from the top of a cliff. They split up a bit to look for these so called poachers that had been plaguing the forest. Not only they scare the animals there to the point dangerous beasts sometimes wandered into nearby settlements, they also robbed anyone they stumbled into. Zen seemed to had stumbled into their biggest force so this should made their job easier. Rhia actually found the poacher's base, in a cave right below the cliff she was on. She checked inside and found how gross these men had been living in, dirty clothes, rotting foods and stinky straw beds... She didn't want to enter it for the second time and would just left the job to carry the treasure out for the other two.

Treasures found and threats eliminated, it should be fine for them to end the mission now. Rhia raised her hand, an orb of light formed on her fingertip. The orb then launched upward and loudly exploded into numerous sparkles that stays in the sky for a few seconds. This was Rhia's flare signal for the others to gather on her spot.

Unaware of the carnage happening some distance away as well as the fact that she was standing right in the middle of a mission, Seraphina continued to stand in the middle of the forest, panicking as she stood in the same place for a good moment, muttering to herself for reassurance. “Alright. So I’m in a forest in the middle of nowhere. Not good. Though, there has to be a way home. I couldn’t have traveled that far in the span of a night after all. Just need to… get out my phone! Yeah!”

After all, if there was cellular service here, which she hoped was the case, then her phone’s navigation app could just do its thing and presto! She’ll be home in a few- wait where was her phone?… alongside her pockets?

Because she didn’t seem to have either. Actually, as Seraphina reached out to pat the spot where usually a pocket would be, which her phone was usually sitting in, she was met rather smooth fabric, warranting her to look down and realize she was in a rather strange but extravagant white, gold, and red dress that she has never seen in her life before that seemed to be metal in some place? Like armor? Seraphina took a step back, her eyes widening as she gazed at the dress, growing even more confused.

“Woah! Where the hell… when… why?” Amidst her confusion, the young woman was only able to utter half-finished questions, her focus just bouncing between this chaotic mess of unanswered mysteries and unexplainable details. Shocked, she was quick to instinctively move a stray hair strand that entered and obscured her vision. Only to freeze when she noticed the color the strand appear to be. Has… has her hair always been this red?

Before Seraphina could further wonder this, a voice came from behind her. Startled, the now apparent redhead couldn’t help but release a small scream as she spun around, her eyes wide and panicked from the sudden shock that was someone else here. She took a few steps back only to instantly relax when she saw it was just another person. A guy around her age who seemed rather concerned for her well-being. Comforting.

Seraphina sighed out of relief as she took a moment to catch her breath. “Yeah I’m fine. Just a confusing morning… wait what do you mean by they?” She asked, going from relaxed and confused as soon as she realized she was apparently in danger. And that confusion was quick to become panic when she realized the guy had a sword, tensing once again as she took a small step back. Like it was an absurd weapon to be carrying so casually but still a weapon nonetheless… as well as another thing to add into her confusion. Like did she enter and pass out at some Renaissance fair or something?… honestly that’d be the most welcome explanation.

“and… um is that… real?” Seraphina asked, stiffly pointing the sword while holding her other hand up in a surrender.
