Mahō Shōjo

Hello! Remember that the first 3 roleplayers to post their FULL COMPLETED CS (No WIPs nor Placeholders, they aren’t allowed) get the first spot in their respective Kingdom Royalty and their backgrounds most be related to the plot in the interest check thread. The other three royalty spots will be handled through a dice roll on the OCC, to ensure fairness I won’t tell which numbers will get you what until after all remaining participants roll too.

You can have up to 2 characters, each character can only have 1 avatar.

The Roleplay starts when we have all 6 royals CS posted here at least (In case some people get discouraged of participating either by my systems or because they couldn’t get royal at the start)

I forgot to mention that NPCs don’t respawn either in ‘Three Kingdoms Online’ when killed they are erased too and other NPCs will consider them dead.

Now this is the CS Skeleton, avoid using Codes since I’m only on mobile (Tabs are ok, and spoilers too)

  • (Image of your character, anime only.)

    Full Name:

    Age:

    Gender:

    Sexuality:

    Occupation:

Personality: (A paragraph or a list of traits, tell me at least how they felt about losing their throne after 3 years of glory.)

Background: (Give me some details about their personal life but also how the spent those 3 years as a Ruler and what changes they did in their kingdom. I’m asking for at least 3 paragraphs from the first 3 royals since you have to do some world building related to your kingdom in here. You’re basically allowed to build the entire Kingdom’s lore, aside from the theme attached to their names of course.)

When your character reaches level 10 you no longer gain 1 point to each stat by default, you must pick a class and you’ll gain a total of 3 points between specific stats related to your chosen class. After level 10 your skills must be themed to the class as well.

Assassin: +3 to DEX each level

Shielder: +3 to VIT each level

Mage: +1 to INT and +2 to MP each level.

Saber: +1 to STR, +1 to VIT and +1 to DEX each level.

Cleric: +1 to VIT, +1 to INT, +1 to MP each level.

Archer: +2 to DEX and +1 to STR each level

After reaching level 20 you must create your own unique sub-class with its own stat distribution growth with a total of 4 points each level to your chosen stats.

If you want to belong to a guild this is where affiliations come into place. They are going to be 3 established factions to choose from at the start but if you wish to make your own that is ok, just give me the details about it.

Arcane Assassin’s Association (AAA): This is a ‘criminal’ guild and the main antagonists for now, if you wish to make a peasant that belongs to this guild send me a MP and I’ll give you extra information. Despite the name not all members have the Assassin Class, they are just Player Killers in general that have developed highly lethal skills.

Yesterday’s Royalty (YR): The three royals from the plot will begin by default as the leaders of this guild.

Tomorrow’s Royalty (TR): The three additional royals formed this guild moments before the previous rulers were assassinated. They are a group of 3 players that completed a parallel hidden Quest and got their characters erased as a ‘reward’ to be reborn as royals. As is to be expected, there’s going to be some rivalry between them and YR but they all have an enemy in common: AAA.
Basically I need you to keep track of your money and stats in each of your posts, at the bottom of your post on a SPOILER. If you make any transactions or level up, you simply show the operation you realized compared to the previous post.

For example if my avatar levels up from level 1 to 2 and buys a candy that’s worth 300 credits, at the bottom of my post after I’ve roleplayed those actions I must add this on a spoiler:

STR: 3+1=4
VIT: 3 +1=4
MP: 3 +1=4
INT: 3+1=4
DEX: 3+1= 4

Credits: 5000-300=4700
In hand: Candy x1
In Storage: Nothing.

If nothing of that happens, I still have to put the record there, in a spoiler, like this:

STR: 3
VIT: 3
MP: 3
INT: 3
DEX: 3

Credits: 5000
In Hand: Nothing
In Storage: Nothing.

This way no one fools the system, I hope it’s not much trouble.

    Full Name: Luke Myles Morrigan

    Age: 26

    Gender: Male

    Sexuality: Asexual

    Occupation: Game Developer

Personality: Luke is a pretty laid back guy, hardworking and efficient enough to keep his job but not enough to boost him through the ranks of his company. He's always found coding for games and a variety of other things to be fun, but he regularly takes time to play his games once his work has been done. One thing about him is that he manages his time well - in between his work, his gaming and his personal health. He isn't a very social person in real life, but he is still amicable to his co-workers. He's not a very talkative person but he can hold a conversation as long as the other person is still interested. He loves trying out new games - whether it was from his designers or from other people. Lately, however, most of his time has been dedicated to the Three Kingdoms Online game - something that had taken the market by storm. The system, the marketing, the product itself - everything piqued his interest. It's been years since he started playing it and yet he still hasn't stopped.

Background: Luke had been an avid gamer since the start of his life. He would rather have himself buried in video games than go out and play with other kids, mostly because his parents were extremely strict when it came to playing with other people. He's used to being isolated as a kid - not having many friends around him and most of the friends he made were gamers like himself. His parents only let him play his games when he was doing well in school - so Luka managed to balance both school and gaming well. His parents were proud of him for his achievements in school and had encouraged him to take any course that he wanted. In the end, Luke went into software engineering and ended up becoming a game developer in a rather successful company. He had a stable income and was working in a profession that catered to his passions. He honestly couldn't have asked for a better life.

Within the game, Ephraim had made a name for himself over the four years that he had played. Not having many goals, Ephraim became a mercenary. With a terrifyingly deadly and accurate shot at all times, Ephraim became known as one of the deadliest archers in the game - having a sub-class that put him apart from the other archers. He runs on par with assassins when it comes to their effectiveness in killing but in a manner that requires him to be from a long distance. He has garnered both fame and infamy across the game, it's better to have him on your side than against you. He's often paid handsomely when doing escort quests. Luke has been rumored to be in contact with the infamous Arcane Assassin's Association but in truth, he combats them frequently due to the nature of his profession of mercenary work. He never actively hunts them though he keeps a keen eye for any of their members, just in case they get any ideas to put him on the chopping block.

Ephraim joined up with Kaiserin and her band of other players when she had come to offer [or force] him to join her group. Admittedly, he was intimidated at first due to the fact that they were all powerful players but after a while, he had eased up into the group. He was offered territory but he ended up simply letting it be - letting the NPCs and PCs who live there thrive like before. Aside from the mandatory tax Kaiserin had decided to impose upon them and a very small percentage of his city's income goes to him, he didn't really change much there. He did, however, start a festival there - a time where everyone can relax in safe zone and have fun. They call it "The Festival of Lights".

Luke keeps regular contact with his group even outside of the game, finding it fun to joke around with them.

Full Name: Chu Soyeon (Last name, first name)

    Age: 24

    Gender: Female

    Sexuality: Bisexual

    Occupation: Popstar turned NEET

    Personality:
Soyeon is an overly passionate individual. If she wants something, she will do her best to get it. As an idealistic go-getter, Soyeon has only given up on three things in her entire life: marrying her dad, getting a winged unicorn, and her popstar career. However, do not be fooled by the girl's airheaded tendencies. She's opportunistic and seeks to rise above all. Unsurprisingly, the girl doesn't take losing very well. She was very, very butthurt when her original avatar died, and her eyes pumped salty tears for over an hour with no bathroom breaks before finally pressing the sign in.

    Background:
Soyeon was born in the heart of Korea, Seoul. Bustling with life and entertainment, Soyeon knew she was destined for fame. As a child, she would always gape at the large screens flashing different idols, dancers, and other entertainers making their marks on the world. With sparkling eyes, she promised herself she'd become one too. At first, her parents were rather incredulous at the thought but later on supported her decision since she was the youngest out of three (and the favorite child- her siblings would grumpily add.)

During her middle school, she auditioned for numerous idol training agencies and thankfully passed one. She began training vigorously, along with gunning for good grades since idols were no longer just there for entertainment but as role models as well. Suffice to say, she was spreading herself thin during this period of her life. She loved it regardless. It was the path to her dream.

Eventually, her hardwork yielded its fruit when she finally debuted as the leader of a five-member girl group named 5IREN. It was the most joyful period of her life. The people loved them from the get-go, and their music was well received by the general public. In fact, their popularity even expanded overseas. Alas, the sad truth was that success often bring the worst out of people. Two of her members got involved in a big scandal involving drug empires. Needless to say, it dragged the entire group down the ditch and the mass public cancelled them. Of course Soyeon still had a remaining supporters so the agency tried to launch her as a solo idol. It didn't quite work out. The damage on the company and group's name was already beyond fixing.

Soyeon gave up on her career when she hit the age of 20. She was pretty much depressed then. She felt like her entire life was going down the drain, and she couldn't do anything to save it. It was only then when she heard of the new Virtual Reality game- Three Kingdoms. She has never been a fan of games, but she figured to give it a try since her life has lost its purpose anyways. Lo and behold as she got addicted. The fallen popstar has fell so deep in Three Kingdoms hell she ended up grinding her ass day and night. In the game, she found the one thing she has always wanted- stardom! As one of the first players who got obsessed, Soyeon quickly snagged a spot in the leaderboards. With her charming personality, opportunistic nature, and Lion avatar, she ended up rising to become Kingdom Animae's ruler after defeating the ruling NPC (which she honestly thought was impossible.)

Throughout her three years of ruling, Soyeon thrived in the Kingdom's merciless grounds. It was the survival of the strongest in Kingdom Animae. At her peak, Soyeon's Lion Avatar could oneshot almost any player. To secure her position, Soyeon gathered all the strongest Animae players and granted them territories all over the Kingdom alongside other boons- killing various NPCs in the process. It's not murder if it's NPCs, she said. Alas, her lovely life came to an end after she got stabbed in the back by some "damn jealous bastard who deserves to get stabbed on their real heart with a five-spiked fork made out of rusty metal!"

I was overwhelmed by the math, but apparently he has 39 extra points he shouldn't have. Please fix that (his total should be equal to Andromeda's since i already added the free points i forgot)

The bouncing arrow skill won't bounce if its blocked or evaded, that would be too much D:

The mp regenerating skill can't be used while using any other skill (including presence erase) keep it in mind

Presence erase is going to cost 3 mp per post, camper >.> and firing a shot will give away your location.

The 3 arrows will cost 2 mp each

After you apply those changes he's accepted <3

    Full Name: Wu Yuyan

    Age: 24

    Gender: Female

    Sexuality: Pansexual

    Occupation: Model

Personality: Despite her beautiful smile, and optimistic attitude in life, playing a personality fabricated by her parents and manager, it's hard to get under her skin but at the same time she feels rather un-whole. She knows that she's yearning for something but can't tell what is until she played Three Kingdoms Online. With no one knowing who she was, she's able to show her true personality. It won't matter if she acts wayward no one would know her anyway. Yuyan is someone who's calculating, and pessimistic. She likes to be three steps ahead, a strategist, she hates being outsmarted and would often lash out in curses in the middle of the night. In-game she has a rather crude speech and carefree mannerisms, but she isn'tone to speak recklessly. A part of her is still tied to maintaining that good image. Needless to say, she worked her hardest on anything that she do; such as obtaining and ruling her Kingdom. She died and she doesn't know who did it, no idea how and what went wrong. It frustrates her to no end that she wasn't able to prepare a counter attack for it. She mostly blames herself but she also wants her kingdom back. Whoever killed her is going to have to prepare themselves for her wrath.

Background: Yuyan was born as a child star, appearing in commercials since she was a mere infant. It didn't help that her parents were prominent figures in the entertainment industry but at the end of the day she didn't pursue a career in acting. She was never fond of the industry her parents lived in, when they were away her companions were video games. A distraction to keep her at bay while they were doing their work.

She's often alone, homeschooled, her nanny leaves her alone and only makes sure that she eats a d bathes as Yuyan's eyes bleed from playing non stop. Video games were her best friend, they make her feel. And she has a whole collection of it. Of course this is a much kept secret from public eyes. Only a few select people knows of her addiction to these games as she has an image to protect, it brings money to the table, money to buy more. It also helps that a modeling gig isn't as demanding as the acting career that her parents wanted her to pursue. She's able to play games whenever she can, whenever she liked... which is almost every hour of the day.

Three Kingdoms Online was a well-awaited game for her. She waited eagerly for it's release and was one of the first few to enter the world. She planned out every thing that she had to take into account, she worked her way from ground up to a ruler with every time that she could. She had made friends over the years that she played, from a mere beginner to a political figure. They valued teamwork above all. She ruled Mineral Kingdom with her friends at her side and a kind demeanor, she made the economy of the kingdom prosper, merchants were the happiest in her care. Mineral Kingdom gives shelter to the weak, their defenses are the talk of the world, you can't deny that when they have a gigantic wall all over her territory and underneath the Kingdom were tunnels that lead to connected shelters for invasions that are kept in secret from anyone but her close confidants.

Of course, her ruling came to an end when she died. She doesn't understand why... who would want to kill her. She did her hardest to be a good ruler, fair and caring and yet people still wanted her gone. Was it one of her friends? A former rival? A mere peasant that wants to be the next ruler? She cursed to the heavens that day, drowned herself with alcohol and woke up the next day with a determined anger. "I'm taking my kingdom back." She said like a royalty that saw the invasion of her own territory in a blockbuster film.

    Full Name: August Bernsten

    Age: 23

    Gender: Male

    Sexuality: Heterosexual

    Occupation: Software Engineer

Personality: On the outside, August could be described as jovial individual, always appearing happy and upbeat. When alone, his demeanor changes significantly. On the inside, his rather often sad or depressed but he doesn't like showing that side of himself. He hides it from others as to not concern them but sometimes his true self peaks through. August has a short temper and is easily annoyed by others but he is not one to make rash decisions. He is rather intelligent but his indecisiveness can get in the way of making choices quickly. He is accepting of others, giving everybody a chance. August is a conversationalist and likes to talk but knows when he is bugging others. He is rather trustworthy and tries to keep true to his words no matter what and backs up his friends when they need him to. He is loyal to those he cherishes and would give anything to help them.

Background: August hails from the city of Oslo in Norway, residing by himself in his own apartment downtown. He's a software engineer, working for a Norwegian based tech company. His childhood was rather bland, consisting of lot's of studying and a lack of a social life for himself. His parents expected him to get into the best university and be the top of his class. August tried to fulfill his parent's wishes and worked his ass off day and night. He got in NTNU( Norwegian University of Science and Technology) and spent a few years getting his degree in Computer Engineering. He was extremely stressed out during this time and had a few mental breakdowns, beginning to spiral into depression.

He managed to get his degree at the cost of his happiness and soon found a job with a Norwegian tech company, gaining a decent living. His job allowed him to work from home most the time, having to travel occasionally. During that time, he found Three Kingdoms Online and thought about giving it a shot. Before finding TKO, he wasn't all that into video games, only having occasionally played them. When he tried TKO, it was a whole new experience for him. He's never experienced anything like it before and it felt almost like he was living another life.

With his job, he was able to be on TKO for many hours and his grind on it was non stop. When he worked, all he could think about was the game. He spent many months on the game and soon made himself to be a force to reckon with. Real life to him was starting to become less important than his own one. TKO was becoming his new life slowly but surely. His happiness never changed though, the game just distracted him from the real problems he was having. Now, he spends most of his time on the game, only stopping to work out, eat and do his job. His skills are starting to be recognized and his popularity is growing. His goal now is to become recognized by all for his swordsmanship.

Occupation: Part-Timer [Summer: Amusement Park Ride Operator, Winter: Ski Lift Operator]

Personality: She tries too hard to affect the overconfident persona she once had and still has to an extent, and it often backfires and comes off entitled and egotistical to the average person. Her barriers are not hard to break, and she still keeps her old habits of spending money like water on her in-game "friends", believing that through those actions, she is becoming a good person and a good playmate. The consequences are having a lot of people using her as a personal ATM, though she rarely actually realizes she's been cheated with false notions of friendship.

Background: Once upon a time, Vivi had what was considered a conventionally perfect life. Being born in a family that happened to be part of the wealthy upper crust, she never wanted for anything essential and was taught that she could achieve whatever she desired. As a child, she had a lot of positive energy to spread, an abundance of confidence in herself and felt sure she would make a mark on the world. Her family could spare the money and more to send her to specialized classes, and she was adept in all sorts of athletic activities, which only boosted her already large ego.

Elementary school was easy when one could call over tutors at any time, and her friends were many due to her bright personality and tendency to give very expensive presents. All the way up to high school, she was the queen bee, and even teaching staff had to let her rule-breaking antics be after many monetary bribes, both subtle and overt. This all ended in junior year, where a harebrained scheme resulted in a car accident. A car accident that embedded shards of metal fragments in her legs and injured her spinal cord, causing paralysis of her lower body.

A few months later, with her double citizenship and her father's branching of business over borders, she moved to Canada. It was said to be for her treatment, but she knew it was because her mood swings and general propensity for destruction towards those who had been her friends were taking a toll on her parent's patience, even if it wasn't on their wallet.

There, Vivi fell back to games, a pastime she had not delved deeply into since she was young and had a cousin she loved playing with. She may not have been the best or even at all good after so many years of no practical experience, but in a game, she could try to be someone else, someone better than who she was in reality. Since she could not game for the life of her when she started and she abhorred not being good at something, instead of doing her best to master Three Kingdoms Online, she paid others to do it for her with her substantial pocket money.

    Full Name: Haraku Uheriko

    Age: 20

    Gender: Male

    Sexuality: Pansexual

    Occupation: College Soccer Team
    College Criminal Justice Student

Personality: In reality Haraku isn't really much of a talker mostly keeping to themselves unless it comes to playing soccer, they can be seen as both lazy and very intelligent preferring to procrastinate over things and rush through their work once its almost due. They like to spend quite a bit of their time studying people that catch their interest, which usually ends up with them being able to get a read on their personality and they will usually make judgemental decisions based off that. They tend to be very calm most of the time and when it comes to planning they will usually just make a goal for themselves and adjust as they go. They don't care about others and tend to be very selfish at times, though they still do have a kind heart at times since they are willing to help others out if they ask them and they figured they really need it. When it comes to working with others they tend to either do everything themselves with little help or they allow others to do it while doing only whatever is requested of them.
Though in video games they tend to be way more outgoing and sadistic and after playing 4 years of Three Kingdoms Online they have also grown paranoid and tend to favor a kill or be killed mentality. They tend to enjoy fighting other players more so that NPCs but they don't shy away from killing NPCs as well and has actually went on to slaughter many NPCs just for the kicks. They are a dirty fighter doing whatever it takes to win whether it be using the area around them to their advantage or just outsmarting their opponents. If you aren't in a safezone with them then they will likely kill or hide from you, they respect skilled players and tend to favor being evil in the game for the fun of just being able to do whatever you want. Though they are occasionally willing to talk to hopelessly weaker players on the occasion, rather than attacking them on sight though that is usually cause they are bored and want to have some fun. Usually whatever that person says is the deciding factor between if they will spare them or not, but more often then not it turns to them killing the freshspawns as they refer to, they also tend to on occasins refer to intimidation techniques and will sometimes appear to be insane when fighting a opponent.

Background: Although they were born in the USA their dad was American while their mom was Korean their parents were very financially well off and they learned both Korean and English as a result, his dad was rarely ever home due to his work as a Scientist and though his mother took care of them most of the time her work as a Engineer left them with other family members that had to watch over them. Although their house didn't have many rules and the baby sister was actually very nice, they were actually the ones to intrude him to video games since it helped them both kill time. Haraku eventually grew to love video games especially with the stress school was bringing on to them with the bullying and the constant fights they got into as a of result, they didn't usually do their homework most of the time but was still able to score some of the highest test and quiz scores in the class despite that, which usually kept their parents somewhat off their back. Although they do have a sister that they were close with at one point, their relationship has grown more distant over the years to the point where the don't even really talk that much and the times that they do its usually less that 10 words.

Though they didn't do much outside of video games they eventually grew into liking soccer after playing a game that made it seem actually fun, so they eventually went out to tryout for their middle school soccer team and although they were very skilled they didn't really make the team due to their lack of experience and their crappy stamina. Although it took till the 10th grade of highs school before they were finally able to make it on to their High School Junior team and was eventually able to become the teams best Winged Defender since people rarely ever made it past him with the ball. This however started to cut into his gaming time and his friends in game actually took notice of how he was no long no-lifeing, and although he still kept ahead of most of his friends in video games. Though they started to get bored of most of the games they were playing with online friends quickly so after doing some quick searches on future games they eventually found out about Three Kingdoms Online.

After looking it over the grew excited for it and began to pre-order the game once it came out they quickly went back to no-lifeing at first they wanted to go solo and not have to join any guilds, but after helping out a some guild called the Crimson Blade, they actually grew to be impressed by them and went on to join their guild and despite the fact that their guild leader was a cruel dictator who started countless conflicts , they loved the guild and were fiercely loyal to it which was unusually rare for them, they even managed to get a low spot on the leader-board at a time . Though the guild eventually disbanded after their guild leader betrayed a ally and eventually got teamed on by all the other guilds causing their leader to disappear from the game and their guild getting disbanded. They were very sadden by this turn of events since they loved the guild and admired its leader, most of the old members of the guild turned towards the new guild that was known as the Arcane Assassins Association and at first Haraku didn't want anything to do with them but after playing the game for a while without guild help and a tendency to be nice to players which got them killed quite a few times, they eventually went on to rage in the game from having to start over so many times and made a new rule for themselves, Kill or be killed. So they went on to PK anyone they saw after that and even managed to earn themselves a reputation. It took a year before they finally decided to join the Arcane Assassins Association. Though as time went on in game they did spend less time playing though they did dedicate most of their free tie to playing it and their was the few times where they would not play it at all or just spend their entire night playing it.

As the years went on they eventually graduated high school and since their parents really wanted him to go to college they went on to pay for his tuition, room and even gave him a monthly allowance although it was sometimes dependent on his grades. This made it so that he honestly didn't really need much of a real job, making it so he could focus all his efforts on school, soccer and Three Kingdoms Online. They did manage to keep their grades up in school though but they did adopt to only needing 5 hours of sleep so they spent quite a bit of time playing Three Kingdoms Online trying to get back their spot on the leader-board and kill as many players as possible and despite being not being at their max power they were actually very skilled at the game making 1 vs 1 encounters with them very dangerous especially with their favor to glass cannon builds. One day though they were with a group of members from the Arcane Assassins Association though and after killing a boss they saw all their allies were low and they still had over half of their hp left since they played mostly as a support role. This caused them to smile as they actually hated two of the members in the group one of them even had a reputation for not even being well liked, the other guy was actually new to the guild and they other girl they were with was someone they didn't have much feelings for. So thinking about how dissatisfied they were with the guild and how they were strong enough to go solo if they wanted to, they decided to leave the group and the guild at that moment. Then going on to surprise attack their guild mates quickly killing one of them and then fighting the other two. They actually massively enjoyed the fight since they actually put up a decent one despite being caught off guard, though they eventually managed to kill another member of their guild and the last member decided to take their chances running away from them since they figured that they could out run him. Haraku let them leave at first since they were both low and near death, but once they healed Haraku went on to track them which ended up with him catching them off guard and killing them. After that they went back to PKing players they found in groups of one or two or go after groups that just got done with a hard fight and pick them off, they also tend to occasionally hunt members of their old guild but it was mostly the ones they didn't like when they were there, and occasionally doing solo boss fights.

Let's see...

1) Predator instinct can only track preys from Animae (meaning animals that are usually preys, not predators)

2) First Strike boosts only [physical] attacks

3) that "[Magical] Passive [Mage]" that somehow gives you immunity isn't valid, i know you're afraid of Andromeda (just kidding) but she doesn't even has illusions :v (That's for you too AI10100 AI10100 , although i know you aren't afraid of her)

4) observe won't work unless you have actually met the player first, and only if they're outside safe-zones

5) chilling presence only covers 14 meters and only affects players from lower level than them

6) cold blood... You are a white tiger, your blood is hot! Sorry but erase that skill.

Last, you can't use or summon chains even if its only a visual effect, they'll have to be paper tags glued together to emulate chains

Each thrall costs 5 MP yo summon but commanding them (with skills) only costs 1 MP

Neo Alice Neo Alice - Yes boss, even his keen eye can't crack Andromeda's disguise. It's mostly there as an "improved" version of the Birds of Prey skill. Honestly, if he doesn't even know who they're disguising as, Ephraim wouldn't even notice lol

3) To be fair i kinda knew that that wouldn't work against her since it isn't exactly a magical effect, but i do got to say that ability would scare any player that would know of it.

6) That was more of a scourge ability than their race since their related more to being warlocks, but ok.

Also i only had intention of being able to have one thrall out at a time, probably should of put that down

    Full Name: Arthur Massimo

    Age: 29

    Gender: Male

    Sexuality: Straight

Occupation: Artist, Barista at a cafe, part-time Librarian

    Personality:
To strangers and acquaintances, Arthur is just a beautiful eccentric who is soft-spoken but nice enough, who spends most of his time with his head lost in the clouds. To his close friends... what a joke. Arthur spent so much of his life working on his art and hobbies that he neglected keeping his friends or making any new ones. His single-minded drive makes it easy for him to forget things that aren't in front of his face.
In-game Arthur, or rather Guinevere - the shape he considers the ideal of beauty, a body he spent days tweaking to make absolutely perfect - is a leader figure that treats her enemies coldly but not cruelly and her allies kindly but never softly. Her firm pragmatism is an ideal often at odds with Arthur's own flair for the dramatic and beautiful, and so his character's actual actions tends to be wildly inconsistent depending on how much Arthur feels like doing what he wants versus role-playing what Guinevere would do.
Guinevere's death hurt far more than whatever else he lost when he suddenly found his health in the game plummet to zero. He was annoyed that his vision for the most beautiful kingdom would be delayed, of course, but the fact that his beloved Guinevere had been killed was what made him angry. Someone had killed her, and kingdom be damned, his first goal upon recreating her and loading back into the game would be hunting down the dog responsible and turn their avatar into a crimson work of art - within the limitations of the game engine's gore rendering, of course.

    Background:
Arthur has never been the type to take life seriously. School? He was usually in the front row with a textbook open, doodling in the pages and not paying attention to the teacher whom he thought enjoyed the sound of their own voice a bit too much. He was a rather terrible student, but not so bad that he didn't scrape by to graduate. After school was finished, Arthur didn't really have a plan. The only thing he was passionate about was making his art, but he wasn't delusional enough to think he could actually live off his art. Even if he could, he needed to buy his supplies before that. So he took a temporary job at a library, just until he found something better. It's been almost ten years. He started working at a cafe as well, not to pay for art supplies, he had those covered, but to pay for his growing game addiction. This arrangement isn't permanent. It's just temporary. Just until he finds something better.

Arthur bought Three Kingdoms when it came out on a whim. He'd overheard a guy raving about this new game to his friends at the cafe, and he'd gotten curious. So he loaded in, got to the character creation screen, which felt a little overwhelming at first with how many options there was in front of him, and so he just hit random until something jumped out at him. A woman with long white hair and pale lilac eyes. He stopped before he hit the randomize option again. The settings were off, she was ugly, but he could make her beautiful. So he spent days just in the character creation screens, tweaking every single variable on this character model to make her perfect. Thus Guinevere, Arthur's image of female beauty, was born.

Arthur's goals in the game were very simple: to show off Guinevere and to make the game's world more beautiful. The former was a simple enough task. Guinevere became known for her aesthetic way of fighting, often ignoring the most direct or efficient attacks in favor of more unusual attacks that were more beautiful. This gimmick is what made her such a difficult opponent at higher levels. Other players had spent so much time worrying about what was most effective that facing someone that ignored all that simply to show off her personal style completely threw them off their game. As for making the game's world beautiful, that idea only entered Arthur's mind after the Lioness took the throne of the Animae Kingdom. Apparently players could take the throne from the NPC that was keeping it warm. In the mad scramble of top players aiming to claim the remaining kingdoms, Guinevere appeared in the throne room when another player killed the King and slaughtered every player present to take the throne for herself. Guinevere, the Greenbrier Knight, became the Queen of the Plantae Kingdom.

Under Guinevere the Plantae Kingdom wasn't known for its economy nor its fighting strength. It drew players for a different reason than the other kingdoms. It was simply beautiful. All of the kingdom's resources and power went to improving itself. Massive architectural projects turned cities into vibrant gardens that overflowed with colorful life. Anything ugly was purged. Certain monsters were driven out while others brought in to replace them, not due to posing less threat but simply for reasons of aesthetic. Entire races of NPC were forced out or killed. Guinevere maintained her kingdom like a garden, keeping what she wanted and getting rid of anything that didn't fit her vision. Strong player killers would become a problem, so to nip that bud she incentivized supervised duels in the arena and had those that performed too well meet an unfortunate accident when it was convenient. Any known frequent player killers found within the kingdom, those with a bad reputation already, she had publicly executed, rewarding subjects with the privilege of getting to deliver the final blow for free levels and skills. For newer players, it was safe. Beauty, peace, and justice were the pillars of Guinevere's kingdom.

When his vision suddenly changed from overlooking his kingdom and envisioning the next phase of improvements he could begin to the darkness of the sign-in screen, Arthur was silent for a while. He got up, took a piss, got some water, sat back down, and began the game again. He was surprised that someone had managed to assassinate him, inside his own kingdom too. He'd thought his equipment and items were more than enough to escape death by all but the top PvP duelists, which he of course kept tabs on and incentivized to patronize his kingdom rather than start wars within its boundaries. He was surprised, but he wasn't upset about losing his position or kingdom. What pissed him off was that someone had killed his beloved Guinevere. Arthur doesn't plan on giving the person responsible for her murder any change to apologize. Destroying beauty is a crime punishable by death.

    Full Name: Demetrios Zotis

    Age: 24

    Gender: Male

    Sexuality: Straight

    Occupation: Intern (hardware engineer)

Personality: With a constant energetic demeanor, Demetrios is rarely idle for long. He is driven by a constant need to push boundaries, achieve goals, and overall have a bloody good time. To many online, he assumes a gloomy, foreboding personality, fitting with his avatar. But this is actually simply a facade. Demetrios himself is rather cheery and affable, with a fairly strong moral center and a desire to ensure his friends are always well accomodated. Occasionally, he becomes briefly distant and thoughtful, as though troubled by many things, but these downturns are temporary at best, and before you know, he's back on his feet and on the trail
