Heads up you guys. I believe the admins have fixed or settled things for the HPs. Reason I'm assuming this is because of the formatting of how the HPs now look, and if you look at the group itself the format is different from before (not that much but you can tell. Paul, I may have (and probably have) missed quite a few people but I thought I'd leave this message here as a heads up that if you are a part of this HP, you'll need to re-request membership. I had to do it just a few minutes ago, should be accepted in a second though so no worries there. An admin accepted me back into the group (for some reason) but yeah, just letting you all know you may want to check if you're members.

I've noticed most of the emergent team is in training with an Agent at this point. Should I wait for that to wrap first? Open to suggestions.

At some point, I will be separating out the Titans Tower from the rest of San Francisco. We're a fully-fledged HP now, might as well utilize it. For now, continue posting as-is. I will actually make an IC redirecting everyone, clearly linking everyone and labeled well enough to avoid confusion. Sorry for not communicating this earlier, but I'm sure you've all guessed I've been working on a lot.

Aside from that, get posting! No reason to let the change be intimidating. This is just another milestone for us!

Alright, ladies and gents, you're about to meet Mr. Mean GM. Reason being, two posts referred to the use of meta-human abilities while Power Discs were active--meaning that no abilities should have been capable of being used. I went through a fairly long explanation of why this happening, that they were put in place, they the characters were limited, but it seems no one alerted me to this and it was ignored. So, break rules, receive punishment. In this case, I'm deleting the collab and previous post. It won't edited. It won't be re-used. I'm demanding new posts in place of those old ones. Why? Because I allow a lot of things to slide, but there comes a time when a line must be drawn--and this is that time. The post cycle restarts as of today (8/4/27) and I expect new, fresh posts bearing in mind that the only character capable of doing anything relatively not human is Spark, and even then she cannot utilize her abilities fully. Hell, she can't even tap into her own strength completely.

Matter of fact, let me reiterate the situation. Shift and Spook both have Power Discs on them, completely nullifying their abilities at all times unless Agent Love otherwise allows. Agent Spark had her peripheral processing unit shut off by Waller and that secondary unit is what allowed most of her android abilities. So, sure, she's still a little superhuman physically and in fact very durable, but she went most of her life using that unit for everything. Now, she can't hack well. Her martial arts is shit. Even that one single 'fighting style' she uses is mediocre at best. She has no muscle memory. She cannot even use half of her latent strength because her brain literally cannot use the nanoweave muscle fibers built into her body. Using her EM vision for anything longer than two seconds results in giving her a migraine, so it's only a snapshot ability. More importantly, she FORGOT a ton of her skills and abilities because they were stored on her peripheral unit. The reason she is allowed any sort of superhuman nature is because she was neutered so severely that giving her a power disc on top of it is unneeded. Reason being, she is not so strong that a trained Agent couldn't beat her down. At max performance, she might be twice as strong as an average (not Olympic) female, but if you know what the feats are for that, it's honestly not impressive in relation to what a well-trained agent can do.

That said. I will not budge on this. I informed all of you about this well ahead of time and quite frankly, being made to rewrite a post in error isn't that bad.

Ah, I thought the idea with the discs was that Love could turn their powers off when she chose. My bad, but you really could have just said "oh hey guys, remember that those discs are nullifying your powers" and I probably would have reworked my entire post anyway, what you stated a while ago in the ooc did slip my mind. No need to be outraged when this is the first time you've mentioned any problems.

I'm not outraged. If I was outraged, the outcome would have been worse than "hey guys, rewrite this"

What I felt was important was to point out not only that it was an issue, but why it was and what the current situation is. Go anywhere in the world and look at management. One of the biggest complaints is that when someone is told something is wrong, they aren't told why or how to fix it. I'm not doing that to you guys. I'm giving you the precise reason it needs fixed and the context information that explains it.

I would have actually just PMd you if it was just you, but it wasn't. There was a collab involved where it was continued meaning everyone was responsible, not just you.

The longer these posts drag behind, the further you'll be back--because I don't intend on holding any of them down due to this first group. If you want to keep up and keep the story going, you'll need some activity.

Alright. I don't like it when I have to step in, but it appears I do. From multiple points of view.

First and foremost, I am barring the use of collaboration posts until I see better cooperation. This is exclusive to you three: Necro, RF, Retro. To the person that says, "You can't stop us from collabing!" I reply, "but I can deny your posts."

Let me give you the quick and dirty rationale. There is a lack of teamwork, chemistry and respect from the three of you. I don't want arguments. I don't want to hear anyone defending themselves. Don't waste my time; I've seen every event in full because not just one person came to me. What you are displaying, as a whole, is that you are not capable of collaborating together for effect posts, plain and simple. I'm also not going to go through a long, public explanation of why.

If you want to know, PM me. If you want coaching, PM me. Where I am drawing the line is the animosity developing between players during the collabs--which aren't saving anyone any time. Return to solo-posting. I'll even reset your due date because, yet again, this is a determination made by me.

Lastly, if you're frustrated, take this time to really consider if you were honestly benefiting from or enjoying that collab--which I've also seen in full, every edit down the timeline. Do not push blame on anyone. Each party, on some level, is at fault for various reasons. There is no innocent man. No player may throw stones in this house of glass.

Consider the San Francisco plotline timeskipped. Kary will be gone, escorted out with Hyperion to never be seen again and Hyperion will be put on the backburners while Retro-Grey joins your ranks with a new Titan of his own.

You will be worked in with the others as I cycle through groups before making final teams.
