Name: Pelanjdrics Xutren-Phikoln
Or Pelan

Description:1662154091003.png
Backstory: Pelan is still relatively young as a Dragonkind at 152. He was raisend in and around Threading arenas. His great great great grandfather is the well-known Ingólfur Xatri-Phikoln. As such he is expected to be a great trainer and continue the successful legacy of Ingólfur. He has trained three Threaders under the watchful care of his mentor Grjalron. Two of those three threaders are still active in races, while the other went missing, it is suspected an underworld anti-dragon cell is responsible, but nothing has been proven and no body has been discovered. Now having proven his capability in training Threaders with supervision Pelan has been tasked with the final step to rank him as a Threading trainer also known as a Django.

Pelan has been raised around Dragon Threading his whole life. He carries a passion and pride in his work as a Django in training. There is no higher calling for a Dragonkind than to be known as a Django. Pelan has his eyes set on being a Grand Django, someone who has trained no less than three Threaders who have made it to Tonyas 20. He has a long way to go but his heritage and diligent study have shown him to be a promising candidate as a Django.

How life has not been without follies. In his youth,(35, but fully grown) he began to spend time with less savory members of society. Swept up in the reckless adventure and at times lucrative nature of the work he found himself doing he delved deeper into the underworld. Until one day he found himself in over his head. He and his small crew were attempting to steal a rival gang's speeder. Had he known the speeder belonged to the leader of the Red Eye's he may not have attempted it. While attempting to hotwire the craft his group was discovered. His so-called friends fled and he was captured.

He was made to pay for his folly and as punishment, his left foot was dipped in Molten metal. He was allowed to live as a message to his posse. The message worked and Pelan no longer found himself interested in the underbelly of the city. Or those cruel enough to do such things. His group disbanded and he returned to training as Ingólfur would want any of his sons to do. He now has a simple prosthetic metal foot. He has forgone the fancier cybernetic replacements he could have so as to never forget his mistakes, or more importantly the mercy his family showed him as he decided to return to his proper calling.

Personality: Pelan is courageous and willing to stand against any injustice he sees. While he prefers to talk his way out of trouble he will still fight if needed.
He tried to be
Patient & Kind
But as a trainer, he can also be Stern & hardheaded.

Weaknesses: His left foot is missing and there is a slight hobble when he walks sometimes. Under strain, his limp worsens and exegetes.
Still fearful of being around molten material (ironic since he heads for the volcanic region)
Tries to avoid the Red Eye Gange

Weapons: Plasma sword

age: 152

Name: Kizan Prianza (of the Bubbling Sea)

Description: Leaner than a subtropic leopard seal, Kizan stands at around 5’9’’ of lean muscle and saffron skin. His piercing golden eyes and ashen complexion are widespread among his tribe, though since he is technically an outlander, Kizan lacks the customary tattoos and markings of the rest of his people.

Backstory: Humans have lived in the volcanic archipelago known as the Bubbling Sea for over a millenia- within its dense and trecherous charcoal-wood forests lay the cremated remains of great ziggurats and wats. Of course, growing up on the motorized seasteads surrounding the islands, few descendants of these once-great empires would know anything about the ancients. It is said that the people of the Bubbling Sea resemble dragons of old due to their intuitive connection to the volcanic vents and fiery eyes, and to this Kizan is no exception.

He grew up in a loving family of no great reknown, surrounded by the bones of dragons from eons past. As an able-bodied young man, he contributed to the rest of the community by joining in relic excavations and black pearl dives. Life wasn‘t always easy on his volcanic homeland, but the days were warm and peaceful. He often gazed across the red and black sea, longing to see the world he’d seen only on holo-tapes and the airwaves, but his place was among his people.

Until that fateful day he spotted a dragon rise from the largest volcano, the first in at least a thousand years to be seen nesting in the islands. None of his tribe believed him, and they continued to harvest resources from the island- even as Kizan warned them that just as in the old legends, this could only end in disaster. Lo and behold, the vents erupted in the largest catastrophe in a decade, causing all the islanders to evacuate and foreign nations to send aid in the form of resources and responders.

It was from these foreigners that Kizan learned of dragon threading, and knew that one day, he’d bond with a dragon and together they’d venture out into the new world.

Personality: Outwardly stoic, Kizan takes words very seriously and keeps even sarcastic jests as pieces in his heart. He prefers action over lip service, though is knowledgeable about a great deal of technical information- though he’s never tried the sugary breakfast cereal Tonya-O’s, for example, he knows that the fructose required to produce is is mostly grown within cultivation tanks on the Tokenite mainland.

He has little sense of personal boundaries and tact, but treats almost every problem or new piece of information with the same seriousness as a gathering storm.

Weaknesses: Little experience of the modern world, becomes lethargic in cold but empowered by heat.

Weapons: Currently no combat training, must rely on wits and reason.

Age: 20
