The past week has been a nightmare let's start off with that. Tuesday was normal, get up, get ready for school, look at your phone to see if there's any superhero hold ups on your normal way to college, see it's clear and grab some public transportation. Milo however did not account for the fact he was going to save a kid from getting hit by a bus like some isekai protag and cause city wide power outage. That was not in the deck of cards Milo had that morning but he does now!!!! The mandatory doctors visit with his two Dads for medical history stuff after was also a whole thing.
You ever just find out that your brothers and your surrogate mom was like a super important hero that just kinda vanished one day? no? Milo has, to be fair neither of his Dads knew, that kinda showed up in some genetic testing shit to figure out what his power was, turns out he's had his power since at least puberty? in his teen years and he doesn't just have insomnia like his Bio Dad. He does need glasses to see far away so, thanks Dad, that's.... amazing. Not to drag on Dad, Milo fucking loves his Dad.
Milo fun fact is getting used to the whole new place and being, see about 40% of the worlds population give or take has superpowers, they generally pop up around puberty or early adulthood, the important factor is that when people who get their powers around college age get them, they need to go to one of the specific designated Colleges around their country [or another one if they are studying in a different place]. It's all handled by the government since a lot of the people who go to these colleges end up becoming superheros.
Milo is in the other ring, where he hates that he had to stop his schooling to go to some fucking stupidly large campus, with shit going on everywhere, looks like something from a futuristic cartoon. The upside is for the mandatory year he legally has to be here, the dorm room and food is covered by the government along with any damages that might be caused because of rouge power mishaps.
Would he save that kid from the bus again if he could go back in time? yeah he's not a monster, but Milo has known no peace from cutting the whole city's power supply for over an hour because of it.
It's his lunch time and he's moving through the cafeteria to grab a huge plate of stuff and sit down, the classes are either physical and hurt or boring as shit, I mean Super hero law is pretty cool, it's about all the superhero laws that protect heros and the superhuman rights acts and shit, which is I mean, if not cool interesting party fun facts? drop some of it in conversation and you're cool, not really but Milo needs some sort of light in this bullshit of a campus.
The Key thing is Milo looks miserable as he sits down with his plate full and drinks, he's going to eat his feelings every chance he gets.
