Help Thinprogress bar bbcode

so when I have the code like so
[thinprogress=100]stuff[/thinprogress]
is shows up like so

stuff

but when i take away that word in the middle
[thinprogress=100][/thinprogress]

it disappears

The BBCode requires a word in the middle. That's how it works!
