The world just isn't fun without a little chaos.
Roleplay Type(s)
Thiells city has been known to be a city of crime or the Devils Playground ever since the meteor that was heading towards the planet was destroyed by the world governments in 1990. Those that lived in the Kingstone area were the main ones that were able to avoid gangs and villains that were usually fighting in Thiells City. With corrupt officials that are almost too easy to bribe and prison security being pretty relaxed the villains almost always get out each time their sent to prison. But with the recent appointment of a new police chief and the gangs continuing to grow even larger and stronger. This also raises question on what the heros and police will be able to do against these ever growing gangs as the crime rates in the city begins to reach new heights. With these facts in mind the citizens faith in the Thiells Police Department has hit a all time low although with the new police commissioner citizens still have a little hope that the police may be able to actually protect the citizens alongside the heros.

It was a nice, cloudless morning. A perfect weather to take a walk. Joggers and pet owners started their round as early as 6 AM. Solan District had more factory workers and shop owners than other area. Fast food stores had more visitors at 2 AM than the local park at 7 in the morning. Of course, Solan Area only had two desolate parks, but nonetheless, Triage visited the park without so much of a care. Why? To walk his daisy, of course.

The rare joggers and more common factory workers might stared at the incredulous sign of someone in a lab coat carrying around a potted plant on the street. Not that Triage cared much of being stared at. Today, his route deviated slightly from his usual path. His destination at the particularly nice day was L'eal Shampoo and Hair Conditioner Factory.

Nothing too weird. Just a middle aged man in lab coat walking his pet daisy for a tour to a local factory.

Triage stopped near the gate. The security guard eyed him suspiciously, but Triage ignored them. He spotted an empty lot ahead and he went there. He looked around. It was quite empty for a parking lot.

"Yup. This should do," he nodded to himself before putting the pot down on the concrete ground. "come out, now," he gave the pot a gentle kick.

The soil inside the pot shook. The single daisy growing on the pot suddenly split into two, four, until a whole bush of it sprouted from nowhere. A thick stem grew larger from the roots, and the bud of the largest flower blossomed open... to reveal a set of teeth. Triage nodded in appreciation.

"Good. Now get in there and attack anyone in a uniform."

The monstrous daisy let out a roar before it stormed toward the factory. During its transformation, the security guards had alerted the police. Triage sat down on the concrete floor by the now empty pot. His phone rang continuously, but he ignored it.

"Huh. I should have told it to attack heroes too, huh? Well, whatever works, I guess."

Introducing Triage, the Mad Bio Scientist.

In the Trover area kids were on their way to school while others were skipping and hitting up one of the many arcades in the area. It was a fairly quiet area of the city, or at least it normally is yet today was different. A woman with bright red hair stood in front of one of the many arcades this one named Game Global, reaching into her pocket she pulled out three nickles. "Dirt broke again, man I really gotta cut back on the snacks. Oi Amber remind me later to not blow so much cash on snacks after this." She spoke to a rather well dressed girl who stood nearby her the girl's beautiful dress the complete opposite of the red hairs tracksuit. The woman sucked in some air then let it out with a sigh cocking her fist back. Then swinging it forward a sudden burst of energy flew from her fist blasting the front of the arcade to bits. She then snapped her fingers and the inside of the arcade was swarming with delinquents and ruffians alike all grabbing arcade cabinets and token machines. The woman clapped her hands a few times to let them known to hurry it up. "Alright now let's keep it moving come on get to it, we ain't got all day." One might find it odd that someone would be stealing arcade cabinets and token machines, others might suspect there is some sorta elaborate plan behind all this. Like the woman had some sorta super genius plan that involved stealing these machines. They would be half right, she did have a plan and that plan was to throw a huge party back at the gang's hideout. The group originally was simply going to pay for everything but the woman had spent too much on snacks for the party, so now they just simply decided to steal everything they needed. They had already stolen a stereo system for music and now they were stealing arcade machines for entertainment. Of course the idea that a gang would simply steal something for the fun of it, and that their boss was powerful enough to blow the entire front of a building apart and only cared about being able to eat tons of sweets, would shock anyone. Yet that was simply the way the leader of the STRAWBERRY The Delinquent Seung Ju rolled. Now all she had to do was let her men do all the work while she and her apprentice watch.
SkyLordz SkyLordz

Amber stood next her leader Seung in the arcade, as they watched the delinquents lift the machines and carry them out of the arcade. Amber stood there, eating a burger as the others walked "If you think so, but we would still want to take the game boxes for our party. Maybe I could even have a play of one later, they seem so...magical." Amy says to her leader, not fully understanding the concept of arcades, but knowing that people found them fun, "I know you have said that you didn't want one, but since it is a party and from what I understand, people like to dress up for them. Would you like me to create a dress for you?" Amber smiles at Seung as the delinquents began moving the machines outside and began to their base. They both follow them outside, checking to see if there was anyone outside watching them, or anybody who would want to ruin their fun.

"We're receiving reports of a 10-404 in the Solan District. Location; the L'eal factory. All available units in area A,C and D are requested."

Soon enough a new bloom of sirens began to echo through the city, an all too familiar occurrence. Police cars sped through the streets leading to the Solan district, and within one of them was the newly appointed commissioner, Justine Gagne. It was her first day on the job and she was determined to make it a good start. Flashes of red and blue reflected into a soft glow, illuminating her eyes with hellfire for one moment, and ice the next.

When the car stopped in front of the factory's gates she could see a crowd of employees huddled beside four parked police vehicles. Some were injured and their faces were pale as they answered the questions of two policemen, one holding a notebook while the other talked into a radio. As soon as Gagne stepped out of her car the officer speaking into the radio approached her with a respectful nod.

"Morning commissioner."
Gagne gave a tight smile before letting it melt again. "Report."
"The whitecoats say a giant plant broke into the lab and started attacking everyone. Seems like Triange's work if you ask me."
"Yes, who else would create a giant plant."
"Well, er, yes."
"The employees, have they all been evacuated?"
"Not quite. Most were able to slip out of the emergency exits but a bunch are still holed up in one of the storage areas or hiding. The...thing... is on a rampage. Our officers are positioned outside, awaiting orders. One of the security guards offered to help."
"Good. I want you and your partner to stay here. The rest of us are going in. We need to get those people out."
"Wait, are we going to contact Ace?"

Gagne tied her hair back as she started towards the factory entrance, now destroyed by the plant. "Im not standing in wait while people are in danger. She can arrive at her leisure but until then we'll take our chances without her." she said before taking off her stylish coat, revealing the bullet-proof vest beneath. Readying her gun, she motioned for the awaiting officers to follow her as she headed into the building.

The police was coming. Well, that was expected. Triage left the empty pot and ran away from the scene at an abnormally high speed. He might be seen by the police, but see if they could catch him. Wait.

"Oh, right. They have a car."

He didn't think of that. That could spell trouble. He run toward the park, where a car would be waiting for him. Meanwhile, a transmitter at the bottom of the pot sent a signal to a satellite dish at a factory somewhere, which bounced off the signal to a satellite, which bounced it off again to a receiver in a laboratory underground. Neat.

***
Daisy was having a field day. Normally, a daisy didn't have any murderous intent, but a modification on its gene had override its flight or fight instinct an forced it on fight until commanded otherwise. Its long vine destroyed any blinking light it sensed. The light hurted its mind. Daisy ate anyone it could take. Moving was much more tiring than doing photosynthesis. So it kept moving, killing, and destroying. Until everything became a bit too quiet.

Daisy didn't like quiet.

Daisy couldn't live long without eating, or finding a good place for photosynthesis. The ground in the factory reeked of minerals it hated and there was too much marbles and plastic around to ground up nicely. It missed its pot with its rich nutrient and high moisture level. Daisy decided to move out.

Daisy saw a lot of people outside.

Daisy was told to kill anyone in uniform. What was uniform? Uniform was people wearing the same pattern on their body with someone else. There was a lot of people in uniform outside. Daisy saw its pot in the distance, too, but its instinct told it to kill the uniform people first. Oh, well. Daisy roared.

Daisy needed to kill everyone quickly so it could return to its pot. For a starter, Daisy whipped its vine at an armed man, attempting to throw him into its mouth.

Ace's hair blew in all directions as she soared through the air towards the scene of the villain attack. One anti-gravity card was under each of her shoes allowing her to 'fly' quickly to her destination. It didn't take long before she could see the lab, police and citizens swarmed in front of the lab trying to find a solution. As Ace approached the police were preparing to enter the building, however before they could make much headway the plant burst out of the building.

Ace landed atop one of the police cars, some people noticing her entrance causing their appearance to change from fear to excitement. "Now, that's not something you see everyday!" the plant then attempted to grab a man, Ace acted swiftly and dispensed one of her cards, throwing it easily at the creature. Upon impact the card exploded on the creatures arm. "Ah,ah, ah! Play nice now!~"

Ace readied more cards as she prepared for the battle that was approaching. "Time to make some salad!"

Just as Gange and the others were about to step into the factory a looming shape became visible. There was no question it was the plant creature. It lumbered towards them slowly, almost as if it wasnt paying much attention or was lost in thought. Regardless, it seemed to be willingly exiting the factory and Gagne didnt want to waste this opportunity. Fighting it in the open would be easier and reduce the damage to the factory.

Gagne held up her hand, signalling the officers to wait. The plant had noticed them now and roared, but still she waited. Until it reared back its vine.

"Fire!"

Gange shot at the plant's arm and was surprised to see it explode like a grenade. She was confused for a moment before it clicked.

Some of the officers cheered when they saw Ace, but a stern look from Gagne reminded them to act professional. "Everyone, provide support from the sides. Give Ace and the beast some room!" She ordered, not wanting anyone to get hurt in the crossfire. The commissioner continued to fire shots at the plant's head as the others moved back to a safer distance.

Meanwhile, one of the policemen questioning the survivors noticed a man in a labcoat bolt towards the woods. "HEY, WE NEED EVERYONE TO STAY HERE UNTIL WERE DONE. HEY! HELLOO?"
They followed the man up until the woodline and tried to spot where the man ran to. Cursing, they spoke into their radio. "Yeah, a dude just bolted on us... yeah he went into the woods." As they spoke they walked into the forest, straining their eyes to spot the man.

If they couldnt, they'd start heading back towards the police cars.

Officer Frye sat in his cruiser, enjoying a breakfast burrito while listening to the crackling fizz of the dispatch radio. A 10-404 this early? He clicked his tongue in disapproval. Honestly this wasnt that odd for the city (they'd probably get at least 4 more by the end of the day) but the timing struck him as downright rude. Villains should get a schedule, he decided. No calls before 8am.

He chuckled at his own genious and took another crunch of his burrito. So far his morning was great. Two speeders were caught and he even found some overdue parking meters. The schoolish district was pretty lazy compared to the other areas, save the kids messin' around.

"Officer 224 we've got a report of a 223 at 4678 Chestnut Street. Requesting investigation."
"*sigh* On it..."

Man everything was so busy today. This new commissioner was really working them to the bone. Flicking on his siren, Officer Frye drove towards the nearby arcade.

Seung Ju sighed as her apprentice offered to make one of her fancy dresses. "Thanks but no thanks Amber, dresses aren't really my thing." The wild girl didn't really get dresses who cared how pretty you looked if you couldn't fight in what you were wearing. Seung's ideal outfits were stuff she could easily move around in and were easy to replace. Since she often would get her outfits dirty or rip them, the other STRAWBERRIES were busy loaded arcade machines and the token machines into trucks and driving off. Suddenly Seung heard a police siren turning she handing the back of snacks she was carrying to Amber. "Hold these I got this." Seung walked over to the cop car waving her hands to show she was unarmed. "Oi officer don't worry about all this just head on back to whatever donuts shop is nearby. I hear Mega Bite has a sale going on for two for one." She mocked the officer putting a foot on the front of the cop car leaning on it. As the Leader of the STRAWBERRY Seung Ju was well known, not to mention she also had a well known motto that she often told the other STRAWBERRY. "Fuck da police."
SkyLordz SkyLordz Juju Juju

Officer Frye stopped the car and got out. "Whoa. Hey, hey, hey! You stop that now! Get your foot off of there!" When she mentioned the sale he was genuinely interested and made a mental note to himself to pick one up after he brought in these hoodlems. "Listen, you kids are all commin' in with me. We can do this the easy way or the hard way."

His eyes, a dull blue, looked towards the arcade. Its entire front was smashed in, as if it had imploded. Jeeze, what the heck happened here? It looked like a bomb went off. Then the gears in his head started to turn. He squinted at the girl and realized she looked just like that Strawberry kid. Even the weird girl in the dress was there. Ah crap, had to be during my shift didn't it?

Frye spoke into the radio. "Yeah, I've got a 10-201."

Amber smiled as she took the food from Seung “That is ok, I understand that they aren’t your...thing.” She tilted her head when she heard and saw the cop car “What is this? It seems that the police want to ruin our fun.” After she hears Seung talk to the police, she smiles and approaches him “I believe you are simply mistaken sir. We have not hurt anyone, we just want these game boxes...for fun. I’m sure there are people out there doing a lot worse sir. So why don’t you just look for them and leave me and my friends alone....please?” She smiles at him, her arms by her side.

‘So I’m just over there wondering--’ Gryphon paused for a few seconds to climb up a rain gutter. ‘--Now what in the fresh hell is this?’ She continued after she had rolled onto the next rooftop. ‘Call me ignorant if you want,’ Speeding up her pace, she leaped across a gap between buildings, ‘But how the in the world does pumpkin go with cinnamon rolls? I feel like ‘pumpkin spice’ has gone a bit too far this time.’ Gryphon turned and hopped over the edge of the roof, catching herself with a controlled slide down thick pipes that ran up the side of the building. She stopped only a third of the way, just level with the next building’s lower rooftop, then leaped over and caught the edge.
‘Pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin spice candles,’ She continued, lifting herself up over the ledge and rolling forward. ‘That makes sense. Pumpkin spice spice rolls? That’s just--’

Suddenly, she froze in place; the sound of sirens wailed down the street. Not uncommon, but something nobody would ever never want to hear while on a run. One finger was held out to her camera drone in a ‘hold that thought’ gesture. She could just see the flashing lights, red and blue, red and blue, reflecting off buildings around the corner one block down. A sigh of relief came when she realized they weren't moving. That relief evaporate when gunfire began to ring out. Gryphon reached into one pocket and retrieved a small square, which she pressed a few buttons on. The stream feed cut off, the drone flew towards her, and shut down as she caught it in the air.
She carefully set the drone underneath a large vent shaft, relatively hidden. Not that anyone else would be romping around rooftops to steal it. Still…

Gryphon used a rain gutter again to get herself down into an adjacent alleyway, then sprinted across the nigh-empty street to another. The commotion itself seemed to be enough to evacuate citizens even beyond the perimeters the police set. Window ledges and a space narrow enough to hop back and forth from allowed Gryphon to bring herself to the roof of the building on the corner, where she had a fairly good view of what was going on at--it was shampoo factory. Odd place to commit any kind of crime.

What the hell was going on though?

There was a giant plant-monster-thing. That was the first thing that registered. The second was that there were a few employees outside being cared for and questioned, away from the epicenter of trouble. But there wasn’t nearly a reasonable amount for those to be all the employees at the place when this… thing… arrived. Numerous police officers and a hero, Ace, were taking on the plant itself, but there were almost certainly more people inside, and with the battle right before it, there was no safe way for first-responders to get inside the building.

But she could.

Gryphon snuck to the side of the roof’s edge, and climbed down the building’s side to the floor of the adjacent alleyway. She watched an explosion strike the plant and leave it stunned for a moment, and took that as her cue.
‘’SCUSE ME!!’ With a running leap, Gryphon flew over a couple of police officers, and slid across the hood of their car. Her feet hit the ground again and she resumed her sprint, somersaulted over a couple of the flailing plant’s vines, and burst through the already damaged doors.

She immediately went searching for any survivors, and she found a few huddled up in offices. Quickly, she evacuated them through fire exits as many people as she found at a time. Even though busy with that, Gryphon nervously tried to catch glimpses of how the battle outside was going whenever she had the chance. There were a few people she had to carry, but after the first few people out had called the EMT’s attention to where they were, they were quickly received for any applicable medical treatment.

"...can't hear you, can't hear you. The wind blocks your shout and I have earwax in my ear. Mmmmmm..."

Triage hummed to himself as he ran. His lab coat got stuck on bushes and branches if he ran on grass, so he sticked on the dirt path. A small opening, where rusty iron benches stood alone, had a car waiting for him. The driver, one that looked like a mother of three, was sipping coffee from a plastic cup on her seat. Triage jumped into the backseat and slammed it close. The vibration caused the woman to cough her coffee.

"Go."

"Sure thing, doc."

"Teacher. Turn on the music."

"Sure thing, Teacher."

The woman crushed the coffee cup before putting on her seatbelt and pushed the gas. The car drove off the park, leaving dust behind before driving downtown. The radio was cranked on full volume, and Taylor Swift accompanied the runaway with 'Shake It Off'.

Not that Triage cared for the music.

Daisy was hurt.

Something cut down its vine and stopped it from eating. The vine could grow, but the uniform man ran away before it could grab uniform man again. Daisy was not happy. The sooner it kill all uniform men and women, the sooner Daisy could return to the pot. Daisy liked the pot. Daisy turned its attention to something that destroyed its vine.

It was someone not in uniform.

Daisy wasn't supposed to kill not in uniform woman, but not in uniform woman hurted Daisy. Daisy didn't like the pain. It only wanted to kill uniform people and returned to pot, but not in uniform woman was in the way. Daisy needed to kill not in uniform woman first, then, its decided. But Daisy also needed to kill uniform people, its decided.

Daisy released a lot of its vines at once. Three to grab not in uniform woman, one to grab back uniform man, one to grab another uniform man. Daisy also moved forward. A uniform woman wasn't fast enough. Daisy could eat her without vine. Daisy leaned down and tried to take a bite.

Seung sighed she always thought being the boss of a gang would make cops understand it wasn't smart messing with her. Yet here this guy was still acting like he could actually take them in. Seung snapped her fingers and the Strawberries still pushing machines onto trucks hurried up, they scrambled to get into the trucks and drove off leaving only one truck. Seung then brought a hand to her face like she was shocked looking at the cop. "Oh no Officer it seems they all ran away guess that means you have to take just us in." Taking her foot off the cop car Seung looked back at Amber. "Yo Amber asking nicely like that ain't gonna stop any cops, remember what I always say, fuck da police!" She then turned on her heel bringing her foot back and kicked the cop car like a soccer ball. There was a loud sound like a grenade had gone off as yellow energy exploded from her foot, sending the car flipping through the air it landed back onto the ground crumpling as it made contact with the ground like it was made of paper. "Oops sorry officer golly gosh I can be such a klutz sometimes." She turned around and began to walk back towards Amber waving to the officer without looking back. "Hope one of your friends can give you a ride, come on Amber you know how to drive right? Never mind I'll handle it." Seung stepped into the driver side of the truck honking the horn a few times.

With a sniff, Frye put his hands on his hips and looked down to the girl in the dress. "Well little missy, that's what money is for. You kids are young but when you get to my age you'll learn that you gotta earn your way to the things you want. Life ain't all fun and games, but that doesn't mean you should go around breaking and stealing things. Somebody worked hard to get those machines and..." He got so caught up in his lecture that he didn't notice the trucks pulling away. "Ah crap..."

Officer Frye covered his head when he saw the flash of supernatural energy, cowering backwards with an unmanly yelp. When he looked up again the strawberry girl was walking away and wishing him luck on finding a ride. He glanced at his car and soon found out it was a total mess, complete with a tiny plume of smoke trailing up from it. Shit... what was he gonna tell the station? Eh, he'd wing it.

BUT WAIT...HIS BREAKFAST!

"Oh COME ON!!" He said, voice cracking mid-sentence. He flung his arms in the air, his face devastated and his stomach mourning the loss of its meal. "Y-you damn kids!" he cursed half-heartedly as he left the scene. No, made a tactical retreat. If that girl could karate kick his car like a soda can he didn't want to imagine what would happen to him if he stayed. He got paid well, but not well enough to risk his life for this stupid city.

Nenma Takashi Nenma Takashi SkyLordz SkyLordz

Amy frowns as she looks up at Frye as he gives her a lecture, “No...if the person really cared about the machines and stuff, they would have protected them and you have been very rude to us.” She smiles as Seung kicks the car. “Your right of course...they just want to ruin our fun.”

She watched Frye begin walking away “One moment Seung...” She walk up behind Frye and places her hand on his shoulder “I didn’t like how you talked to us back there. I...I hope this will help you learn your lesson.”Suddenly, his sleeves begin growing past his hands, before his arms are forced to his chest, where the sleeves of his uniform fuse together, becoming some sort of straight jacket. “Hum...I seem to be better at that then I thought. I...hope if we meet again, you will treat us with...respect and let us have our fun. Goodbye” She smiles and turns around, walking to their truck. “I’m back, I just wanted to...tech him a lesson...” She smiles and climbs into the truck, next to Seung.

Ace smiled sweetly at the man as he ran and hid behind the car she was standing on, no doubt still in shock from the fact he was almost killed by a giant plant. This wasn't a time to play around with her cards, this thing didn't have a mind of it's own. It wouldn't be funny to see it's surprised face when she used a stink bomb instead of a sticky bomb. So she was only going to use her controlled cards for this fight. She couldn't risk all these people for some game when it was only this plant.

When she turned back from the thankful man, three of the plant's vines were moving towards her with great speed. Ace dodged jumped up using her hands to push off the vines and began to run up the arm of the beast. Ace quickly made it near the base of the arm as the creature grabbed two men with it's vines, she'd have to work carefully to make sure there were no casualties. Taking out two cards she through one at the vine holding one of the men and the other one at the other one. The card was sharp as knives, if hit on mark it should easily slice through the plant's vines.

And as expected, due to her advantage of already being on an arm, the cards hit their mark and cut off both of the vines. "CAPTAIN, I THINK IT WOULD BE BEST IF YOU GET THE CIVILIANS OUT OF HERE SO I CAN WORK WITHOUT HAVING TO WORRY ABOUT THEM!"
Juju Juju Damafaud Damafaud

"Huh?" Frye uttered in surprise when he heard a voice behind him. He turned with a look of surprise to see that the dressed girl had caught up with him and was touching him on the shoulder.

"H-hey you get away from me!" he yelped and was intending to pull his hand back but found that his sleeve got caught on something. No not something, his entire sleeve had fused into one.

"What the?" he shouted as the girl trotted off to join the other one driving the truck. "Oh yeah, real funny! Ugh this day is the worst..." He struggled with it for a time before eventually giving up. "How the heck am I supposed to get out of this?"

SkyLordz SkyLordz Nenma Takashi Nenma Takashi

Gagne prepared herself for the plant's lunge and just as it opened its maw she fired a few shots, and at the last moment, rolled to the side. Though she escaped its toothy may, she couldn't deny that she was glad to see Ace cleave off two of the monster's arms.

She nodded at the hero's suggestion and quickly turned to face the crowd of officers and employees that were watching in awe and fear. "YOU HEARD HER! OFFICER CLAY, GET THOSE WORKERS OUT OF HERE." A police woman with red hair nodded stiffly and tried her best to shoo away the bystanders, who were cheering loudly at this point. "The rest of you hold your fire, I don't want this thing targeting switching targets."

Out of the corner of her eye she spotted a figure jump through the carnage, but she was too busy focusing on the plant to take a better look.

At a state-of-the-art research factory deep below the urban structures that construct Solan Area, a group of people in t-shirt were watching a big screen. Some brought popcorn. Some reorganised tubes into batches as they watched. The several lab-coat-over-t-shirt-wearing people were more busy jotting down notes on paper and entering data into computer than watching. It was another normal day at Whatever Works I Guess Lab.

"Daisy is losing."

"Yahaa!"

"Aww. I will miss her. She has the best growl."

"I wonder why Teacher leaves."

"Best growl? Are you serious?"

"Teacher can reinforce Daisy if he stays. Is there another plan we're not told of?"

"Yahaa!"

"Shut up, Reynie."

Just another usual day indeed. Meanwhile, at a less busier part of the town, a car drove through a small neighbourhood. The driver was a woman with blond hair tied into a messy bun and a loose shirt speckled with coffee stain. The man sitting next to her wore a lab coat and a lab apron. The sags under his eyes were visible even from the distance, and his messy hair did not help his appearance.

The car braked into a halt in front of a house. A small house, really, with one floor and a feeble frontyard.

Triage went up to the door and knocked. A few seconds later, a woman opened the door. The door was chained.

"Who is it?" The woman asked.

"Triage. From Whatever Works I Guess." He answered. "I want to kidnap you."

It took her several moment to process, but when she came to, she moved to slam the door closed. Triage wedged his foot in-between before she could.

"Only for an evening. And-"

"ALEX! CALL THE POLICE! THE WHATEVER WORKS-"

He sighed. People are really unreasonable, are they? He didn't say he would kill her. Only kidnapping. He also said it's only for an evening. Why was it difficult to just say 'Oh it's fine, then.' and spare him the trouble? He withdrew his foot, and the woman closed and locked the door. It wasn't meaningful, really. Taking a step back, Triage slammed his shoulder against the door. And again. And again. Until the woodwork gave way and he crushed in. What welcomed him inside was a teenager holding a bat. The mother must be calling the police.

"So..."

"Stay away, you fucker!"

This didn't get easier. Triage scratched the back of his neck. What a pain.

911 received a call of Triage's whereabout.

Daisy was even more hurt.

Everything went wrong. Moving was tiring, but Daisy couldn't get any food. Daisy was sleepy now. The pot was still there. Sleepy meant Daisy need to rest. The pot was a good place to rest. It was better than the can or the bucket. The pot was warm and moist and big. Daisy wanted to sleep now.

Daisy moved as fast as it could toward the pot. Its mouth was shrinking rapidly. Its vine was shrinking, too. Halfway toward the pot, it was only 2 meters tall, as tall as an adult. Maybe it would die soon, but it didn't care. Daisy only wanted its pot. When Daisy reached the pot, it was only 20 cm tall. It burrowed itself in. Daisy sleep now.

Daisy turned into a normal daisy. It never wake up again.

Everyone was out of the building. She was pretty sure, at least. Gryphon had searched every office she could find and had also located people hiding out in a larger storage space, but anxiety still twisted her gut. She didn't know the layout of the building, so she didn't know if there were any places she was missing. Still, she followed the last of the people to evacuate outside through the fire escape.
The first-responders were already treating the people worst-off. She quickly clambered several feet up the side of the building, using piping as her handhold. Among the people, Gryphon couldn't tell if Aaron was there. Regardless, a snap of her fingers and a small flash of light brought attention to her. She held a thumbs-up in question, and two of the EMT’s gave her thumbs-ups in reply.

Gryphon made it up and crossed the roof to the front of the building where the battle was. Or at least where it had been--it was already over. Looking down, she saw that entire plant monster was gone now. Whole thing, just disappeared. Damn. Gryphon hadn’t heard of Ace ever making portals into the void. Of course, it was probably in the hero’s best interest for the media not to know the extent of her abilities. Everyone else’s too. Hesitantly, she called down to Ace and the collection of officers.
‘Are you guys alright?’

Gagne lowered her gun and watched the monstrous plant in a weary sort of curiosity as it's form sank away into the pot, returning back to the size of a typical plant. Ignoring an objection from an officer, she carefully walked up to the pot and knelt down to inspect it. The pot was one of the cheap brown-red ones you could pick up at any gardening store but other than that there seemed to be no distinguishing features. Even the plant seemed to be an overwhelmingly normal daisy. Stowing her gun in its holster, Gagne gave a sigh and stood up.

"Alright, it's all clear. Good work everyone. Officer Grey collect the plant and bring it back to the station, I want it analyzed and swabbed for the fingerprint program. Macdonald, Jhonson, I want you two to make sure nobody else is left in the facility. Wood, tape up the area for further investigation. The rest of you report back to the station." she said to the group of officers.

After giving her commands she finally turned to Ace and extended her hand. "Thank you for your help Ace. I heard a lot about you and it is good to know that you are just as reliable as your reputation says. I look forward to working with you in the future." she said.

At the sound of someone's voice Gagne looked up to see someone peering down from the rooftop. Assuming it was one of the employees, she called up to them. "Yes, the area is now secure. We are sending two officers into the building, please wait for them to escort you out."

The 911 responder picked up the phone. "911, what's your emergency?"
Her eyes brightened in concern upon hearing the panicked voice. "Please remain calm, help is on the way. What is your location?"
"Thank you, we are sending an officer to your location. They will be there in approximately 4 minutes."
"Yes, I know."
"Mrs? Hello?"

"Ugh, this class is crap..."

Enna slumped onto her desk, head propped up on her crossed arms. Before her lay a single, untouched piece of paper labeled with the words 'Pop Quiz'. History was one thing, but having History as your first class in the morning? Now that was mental abuse. Most of her classmates were having trouble with the problems, she noticed, and their confusion, frustration and self-pity rose up in a deafening cloud. What made it worse was the sense of pride Mrs. Cole felt, even if she hid her smile behind a floral handkerchief. And people said chaotic evil didn't exist...

With a sigh, Enna closed her eyes and wished she was still in bed. She'd even consider napping if the other students weren't thinking so loudly. Enna glanced at the clock. 30 minutes left. Awesome. Maybe she should start on the questions? If only to stave off boredom? Admitting defeat, Enna picked up her pen and held it over the first multiple choice question.

Just as she was going to jot down a random answer, she heard the blare of a distant siren. "Ooooh... what's going on?" she mumbled, gaining an annoyed look from the boy at the desk beside her. She gave him an apologetic smile, and once he went back to his work, took out her phone. Making sure Mrs. Cole wasn't looking (she wasnt), she put in her earbuds and opened up the police radio app. It was quite abuzz this morning, and she recognized a few voices. One was new, and she wondered if it was the new Commissioner. There was a 400 in the factory district, but it was too far away for her to really care. Besides, it was pure Ace material. She was going to switch it off when she heard the golden words; "Yeah, I've got a 10-201."

Reaching through the web of thoughts, Enna contacted Brenda.

"Brenda! We gotta go! There's a 200~! Strawberry Beefcake is causing some trouble!"
"Huh? Oh right, the test... Yeah the answers are A, B, B, E, D, C, C, A, 400 BC, False and Tissaphernes. It's a good thing Jessica studies."
Enna stood up and crammed her things into her bag. She marched up to the teacher's desk, smirking at the awe she heard from her fellow students and promptly placed the quiz on Mrs. Cole's desk.
"Done already Miss Steele?" she said, looking over the bridge of her glasses. Enna could see the hint of shock in her eyes, like a villain who was sure their plan would be a success.
"Yep, piece o' cake." she said with a wink and a lazy grin before turning to leave the classroom. Out in the hall, she waited for Brenda to finish up.

The Delinquent
Seung Ju

Seung was in a fit of laughter as Amber wrapped the cop up in his own uniform, the first time Amber had told Seung about her power all Seung could think was how lame and stupid a power like controlling clothes sounded. That changed after she saw just what Amber could really do with her powers, like pantsing someone without even touching them, tying someone's shoelaces together without them knowing, giving wedgies! The possibilities were endless it's really what made Seung make Amber her apprentice, also Seung liked the idea of someone who looked up to her enough to wanna be like her. Sure the other Strawberries admired her but that was more so they could just be on the winning side most of the time. When Amber got into the truck Seung hit the gas following the other trucks full of their new arcade machines. "Man Amber I'm tellin ya, you gots to start try giving some sorry fuck a wedgie with that power of yours. That'd be so damn funny." Seung began to giggle at the mere thought of some wannabe hero in the middle of their typical hero speech just suddenly getting a wedgie and have no clue how. As Seung drove the truck everything was going fairly well they managed to of loaded the trucks and make off with the machines and only one cop showed up. Which made Seung wonder what was keeping the other cops busy, was their some kinda cop special at a doughnut shop or maybe they were finally on strike since Seung figured they were definitely not getting paid enough for what they did. Little did she know that right now most police were giving backup in the Solan area fighting a killer plant.

The lack of cops made stealing the arcade machines easy, a little too easy. The funniest part of stealing stuff was always running from the cops or heroes. Seung let out a solemn sigh. "You know Amber this is normally the point where some goodie goodie hero tries to stop us. Maybe I shouldn't be jinxing us but it just ain't as fun when I don't get to punch some costumed loser through a building or two, ya know what I mean?"

"...like I said, it's only for one evening. Two now that the police is probably coming here."

Triage was holding the woman's collar, like how one held a kitten. The teenager was on the floor, unconscious. Alex had attacked first, swinging the bat at the mad scientist's head, but Triage barely flinch. A lazy kick from him, however, sent Alex flying. A chop to his neck rendered Alex unconscious and his mother defenseless. While of course she tried to fight, she was like a mouse in front of a cat in Triage's hold. Nevertheless, she kept screaming for help and fought her way. Triage didn't look happy with the destruction of his shirt.

"Look, can you keep quiet? I can put you into a vegetative state to silent you but returning you back to normal will be a pain."

Silence. The woman complied after all.

Quietly, Triage led his hostage to the car. He sat with her at the backseat and the driver started the car without another word. A sigh escaped his mouth as he heard siren in the distance. Why couldn't she keep quiet and just allow him to kidnap her? Her son would be conscious, the police less busy, and no violence.

Really. People should be more rational.

'Shake It Off' still roared loudly over the radio as the car drove away from the suburb, toward the outskirt of Solan, and entering another district.

The car entered Trovan District.

‘Oh, everyone’s already out. EMTs are treating them.’ Gryphon quickly hopped over the roof’s edge, climbed down the front of the building, and landed with a tuck-and-roll before approaching the commissioner. ‘I got them out through a fire escape on the other side of the building.’ She anxiously adjusted her bandanna-mask. ‘I was asking if you guys were alright.’
Aside from concern for the officers’ well-being, Laurel was quite anxious. She knew of the commissioner’s opinion on vigilantes, and suddenly was hyper-aware that technically speaking, she was one. Regardless, the commissioner working with heroes made her the best option to go to for help, if she would consider being one. But for now Laurel was quiet, waiting for a response.

Brenda glanced lazily at her blank piece of paper, tapping her pencil on the desk bored. She hated this class, why couldn't she be outside or in gym, something that mattered. Instead, she was stuck inside writing a stupid test about something nobody cares about. The people this is about are dead, why does it matter how or why they died, they are just dead. This is such a bore, she couldn't wait until Enna just gave her the answers so she could leave this hell hole.

Brenda's tapping halted abruptly as she heard a familiar voice in her head. Smirking at the promise of something exiting, Brenda quickly filled out her test with her messy scrawl. Making sure to leave one of the questions wrong, as to not raise suspicion, she stood up and passed in her test. Most people looked even more flabbergasted when she passed in her test then when Enna passed hers in first. It always managed to bring a chuckle to Brenda's lips.

Shortly after the teacher looked her up and down with a doubtful look, she exited the classroom where Enna was waiting for her. "Let's go." she spoke with a smile, ready to finally have some action in this day, and more than ready to skip school.

Ace's proud face turned to one of uneasiness as the plant began to move, "woah there big guy-AH," the vine she was standing on was no longer strong enough or large enough to support her causing her to loose he balance and go tumbling off. She managed to land with a flip and a roll, making it appear to have all just been a cool way of descending from the now shrinking plant.

The plant was now back in it's pot making it no longer a threat. Ace smirked at her accomplishment and began to stretch out her muscles that were used in the battle. Her head turned to an unfamiliar voice, noticing a girl at the top of the building. She couldn't quite understand what she said and simply tilted her head in confusion at the girl. Without taking her confused glance of the girl she responded to the chief, "Any time, after all, I am the best!" Ace turned after she spoke to flash the woman with a wide smile.

The girl that was atop the building before was now at their level and Ace could now understand her, "Ah, thank you for helping! It is much appreciated," at the question of if they were ok Ace let out a light laugh, "But of course I am ok, I am the best after all!"
