Fantasy They're Here (IC)

“What did you experience on the bandit trails?” Raine asked the man who introduced himself as Easton. Based off the little experience with the creatures she knew that Danaper would want to rush into something guns blazing. They needed more information on the bandits before they could just rush into something like that. Plus they needed a plan.

"...I dunno, they all just seem real weird. There's multiple gangs out there, but they all keep talking about the same thing, saying 'we need to feed it' or some sh*t. It's like a friggen cult. But I survived by myself, so I'm sure a group could survive on bandits trail, even with a crippled man." Easton said.

Peter nodded. It seemed they would travel to bandits trail, guess it was time to figure out what was up there. The closest stop to bandits trail that he knew of was the gas station, so if they needed a place to stay that would be just fine. He was starting to get tired... Maybe he would head to bed.

(All in favor of skipping to the next day so KaigerGalaxy KaigerGalaxy can rejoin the plot?)

The next morning, Jun felt like literal shit. The pain had been reduced to a moderately annoying throbbing that he knew would flare up if he even thought about moving and he feeling had returned to the rest of his limbs. He was surprised that he hadn't woken up every time someone spoke or moved something, considering how much of a light sleeper he usually was. He tilted his head to look around, but found that a bandage had been replaced over his eyes. Jun had no recollection of covering his eyes, or if someone else had done it while he was asleep.

What faint noises remained allowed Jun to truly take in the shape of the room, slowly sitting up to look around. How long had that man been down here? Was this how he evaded the monsters?

Slowly opening his eyes, Peter blinked a few times. He was still tired. Really tired. He was surprised he even woke up, though the sound of movement snapped him out of his sleep well enough. With a brief burst of fear he saw he was somewhere new, not the apartment room he always stayed in. After a moment of confusion he recalled the events that had occured the day before, and suddenly he better understood the saying 'it felt like I got hit by a truck.' He held his breath so he wouldn't make a noise while trying to sit up. He definitely had a cracked rib, the pain he had felt the day before had gone from a dull ache to a stabbing. He looked around the room, not standing just yet. Some people were still asleep. He didn't want to wake them...

As quiet as he could, he repositioned himself from the corner he passed out in so he could lean against a wall. The maps he had out the night before were still splayed across the ground. He must've dozed off, he didn't remember going to sleep.

Raine sat in a corner of the room wrapped in a blanket and hugging her knees to her chest. As the others slept in their pallets, she stayed awake for most of the night watching he embers of the fire glow in the darkness and listening to the others light snores. There were dark eye bags under her heavy eyes. Her limbs regained its feeling a while ago and overall she felt like complete shit. The scrapes and bruises from running through the forest burned and ached. Her muscles all over her body were sore making it hard to move around.

Despite having a full stomach and being extremely exhausted Raine couldn’t sleep. Well, it was more like she wouldn’t. Her dreams easily became nightmares and every night they haunted her. It wasn’t filled with deep rooted fears. Her nightmares were her heart-wrenching reality.

As soon as Raine heard movement in the room her hand reached for her empty sheath at her side out of instinct. Since she’s been surrounded by darkness through most of the night her eyes didn’t need to adjust. She noticed a couple figures sitting up from their pallets and she relaxed. “Morning,” she muttered stretching out her limbs with a soft sigh.

/ok/
Mico woke up, although she was tired and felt like she was still asleep. She sat up and groaned slightly, "good morning." she said. Mico had decided to stay with the group but get out of there as soon as they find out anything about who she really was. She thought about getting up and getting water or something but instead went under the blanket again.

Mico then heard something and got up a little from the blanket, it sound like it was coming from outside. She looked out a window and saw movement "hey guys" she said, "I think there's something outside". Mico stood up and walked to the window.

Peter, with half closed eyes, looked at both the people who were awake. "Gmorning." He mumbled, then turned to his bag to retrieve his water, until the other girl he didn't know the name of sat up and said something was outside. He looked around the room again. "Maybe it's Easton, he's not here..." He said, hoping he was correct. He was in no mood to start fighting already, let alone in the right condition. The pain stabbing at his side was already enough to deal with.

"How's there even a window in the basement..." He muttered to himself. "You probably shouldn't go near the window, whatever it is might see you... Who knows, it might not know we are here."

Mico backed away from the window, "you're probably right" she said. Mico went back to where she was asleep and sat down. "so do we have a plan for where we go?" Mico asked. She needed to know if they had chosen a place to go, and if it was somewhere people had seen her shapeshift.

She got her backpack and looked in it for something. Then she pulled out a book, it had maps of all the areas.
