A few RP rules:

Don't control other peoples characters, they'll react once they react.

I'm fine with some cussing but please nothing over the top.

Blood and gore is something that will happen, but we still don't need to know every little detail (you can just say they got bit instead of describing what it looks like, we get it)

A dim flickering light surrounded him, the only thing in the room was himself and the small lantern he had found a few months ago. Peter stood up, taking his backpack which was stuffed full of supplies, and threw it over his shoulders. It was heavy but he was used to it by now. He picked up the lantern and walked to the door of the small apartment room he was staying in and slowly opened it. Nothing. He was glad the halls were just as barren as when he first found it. He stepped out and walked down the hall, the floorboards creaking under him with every step. The sound made him cringe each time, but there wasn't any way he could be any lighter. Walking down the stairs, he arrived at the front entrance and opened the door.

Like usual the pure white snow blinded him. He put up his facemask, which he used to shield the wind, and his snow goggles so he wouldn't go blind from the bright snow. He had to venture out to find water again, and going to the frozen pond nearby was much easier then melting ten pounds of snow. He started walking, the cold air burning his throat. At least the wind chill wasn't that bad today. He knew he was going to be hating life soon since the snow was ankle deep. He couldn't walk without practically doing high knees.

Ten different people who's faces are so mangled that it is impossible to tell who they were now lay in the snowy rubble wasteland, the snow surrounding each body red with dried blood. Danaper stands up and throws the wrapper of his half eaten burger on the ground, he sharpens his bayonet while eating simultaneously. He takes his last bite gulping down the rest of his burger and finishes sharpening the bayonet, then reattaching it to his marksman rifle. Danaper stabs the bodies with his bayonet and tears some of the muscle off of them, he then carefully makes a fire and roasts the muscles over the spit. Once the meat is finished cooking, he saves it for later in some stolen aluminum foil.

Williams takes the remains of the bodies and piles them on the broken street concrete, then taking his flint and steel he sets the bodies a fire. A few people can be seen walking towards him, Williams senses the unnatural presence of the monsters, but he cares not, for he would end them where they stand either way. But then many more come out of the snow that is falling from the sky that was blocking his vision. He then realizes that this is no normal pack of monsters, this is more like a horde. Danaper slowly backs away, then fires a shot from his rifle straight into the mimic rib cage of the monster. The monsters then speed towards him, but Danaper runs faster, he sprints as fast as possible, and runs into the town hall quickly barricading the doors but leaving the windows unlocked, as he assumes the monsters are too stupid to get in that way. Danaper waits patiently with his rifle pointed at the barricaded door as he prays the monsters do not get in.

Jun looked out over the once-bustling town, or rather, heard out over the town he could only assume was once-bustling. He had learned how to "see" with sound many years ago, his not-so-new power making it almost as easy as seeing with eyes. Of course, he still walked a little slower, used a stick he found (and attached a knife to) to check for things in his path.

A quick spasm ran down his back, turning into a violent shiver. He hated when that happened.. Jun never really shivered like a person normally would, instead, it would just build up and release all at once. He pulled the edges of the white coat closer to his face, using his breath to warm the fabric. The hood was much too big for his head, but he fixed that problem with a bit of string.

Jun came to a halt as the echo of a gunshot caught his attention. He had no clue where he was in terms of distance, but the glimpse he got suggested not close enough to run to hide in a building. If the sound did attract more of those creatures, he would have to drop his pack and hide in his coat. It wouldn't be the first time the color had saved his ass.

Shouldering his spear, Jun picked up speed.

Danaper sprints up the stairs and throws couches and bookshelves down the stairs to block the monsters from getting up them. He quickly puts his gas mask back on to hide his face, he walks over to the window cautiously to see if he could try jumping out. But he soon learns that a jump from such a height would be sure to spell his doom. But then something catches his eye, more correctly, someone. He grabs his rifle and fires a shot at the person with the eye coverings, hoping he could loot him when he got out of this mess.

Danaper then sits down hopelessly thinking to himself how he could possibly survive this horrible encounter. Then he realizes that the bullet might not have hit the man, so he realizes the possibility of that signaling him to come over to him. His initial thought was that maybe he could use the man as bait so the monsters would leave him alone, and eat the blinded person. But then an idea came to him, if a blind man could have survived this long, maybe he could be used as a tool of war, and maybe he could eat him alive afterwards, after all, Danaper's hunger never subsides, and with good reason, if you don't hunt beforehand, you may have nothing to eat in the coming weeks if no one is around.

((only one post for now General, we need to wait for the other two to post before you are allowed to post again. I'll let this one slide though

Cassidy was holed up in the burnt out remnants of a diner, tucked sideways into a booth near the window with her feet up on the bench. She was practically wrapped around the rifle she carried, with the stock was resting between her legs and her head leaned against the barrel. Her expression was relatively vacant, almost similar to a meditative state, as she stared at a spot on the ground in front of her.

The insides of the building had been burned beyond use, but the foundation was still in tact enough to keep out the wind and a majority of the snow. It was a perfect place to lay low, uninterrupted by scavengers or the like considering there was nothing here for them.

Suddenly, she was jolted from her blank thoughts when a gunshot rang out through the town. Cassidy poked her head up from the booth to scan the area in front of the diner. She always hesitated to fire her weapon for fear of what attention it might attract, so when someone else was desperate enough to fire theirs, she wagered it usually spelled trouble. As she looked, she saw a figure in the distance, but it was unclear if they were the source of the noise. With the color of their clothing, they were barely distinguishable against the white snow, so much so that Cas was surprised she didn't overlook them all together. More shocking than that however, was the second gunshot, landing much closer this time. The figure sped up and for a brief moment Cas considered calling them over to the relative shelther the burned diner offered, but decided it might be best to wait and see how the situation played out. Even still, the woman moved to the door so she could get the stranger's attention if need be, standing to the side so she wasn't visible unless she leaned forward to peer through the glass.

Logan Carter:

Logan wiped the blood off her knife and turned to look at the dead body. "Shouldn't have fucked with me," she said without remorse. The man's pale blue eyes were wide open staring up at her in surprise. He hadn't seen it coming, they never do. Suprise was Logan's best weapon especially when she was so small and could easily be overpowered.

Logan had been staying at an old library for a few days now when the man entered. He was injured when he first came, and after finding out Logan was a healer they made a mutual agreement. She would heal him in return for some food. After completing her end of the bargain the man tried to escape. Logan couldn't allow that so she killed him. Originally she was planning to kill him in his sleep however in the end everything worked out smoothly. He was dead, she had his food, and his weapons.

Logan grabbed her tattered bag and exited the library she had been using. If a dumbass like the dead man could find it so easily then that means it was easily accessible to other people. She was lucky that it wasn't someone much smarter or stronger who entered that night. She made her way through the now-abandoned town looking for another shelter. It was quiet but that was to be expected, noise could not only attract the monster but also other humans too. The wind blew her curly hair in all different directions somewhat obscuring her view. The cold nipped at her skin, she never liked the cold so having to survive in never-ending snow was pure misery to her. She continued to walk when she heard a loud sound that resembled that of a gunshot. The noise was behind her, deciding she didn't want to stick around to find out what had made that noise she quickened her pace.

As if by instinct, Jun dove into the ditch of the road he was walking on. He didn't even think to cover his face to block the snow, all he knew was move and move he did.

He heard the already broken asphalt crunch from the impact of the bullet and breathed a sigh of relief, a second later and he would've caught that bullet...

The man waited a moment before getting up and "looking" around to make sure it was safe. Well, as safe as things could get. He was too far to turn back and he needed supplies so Jun wiped the snow from his face and pushed forward.

Snow had gotten under his wrappings and that was making him waste time trying to get it out. It was the worst on the side with no eye, surprisingly-

Danaper smashes the window with the butt of his rifle and looks out from the goggles of his gas mask at Jun. He then signals Jun with a military hand signal to climb up the building using the opening between the bricks and to give support to him. After doing so Danaper grabs a desk and puts it in front of him, using it as cover in case the monsters decided to become more intelligent and smash down the barricades to get inside the building. Danaper then looks back out the window and notices another person, actually, three other persons besides Jun.

Logan, Cassidy, and Peter, he of course didn't know them but was far too desperate to not signal them to do the same as he signaled Jun to do. So he pokes his head out the window and shoots a bullet at the sky to get all of their attention and then puts his whole torso out of the window and signals using the military signal for them to climb up the wall and through the window to support him. Williams then gets to cover behind the desk with his rifle loaded and ready, praying they come to support him.

Logan Carter

Logan was continuing her journey when she heard another gunshot go off. This one got her attention and she turned to see where it was coming from. There she saw a man covered in military gear trying to signal her over. Logan scoffed before turning her head and continuing in the direction she was going in. Her mother had dated a military man and out of all her boyfriends, he was one of her least favorite. Logan didn't have a great view of the military before the invasion and her view hadn't changed much after the invasion.

Additionally, it was the apocalypse it was every man for themself. If she had gone to him he would have probably taken all her stuff then killed her. Logan knew she wouldn't be able to face him head on. Most people she wouldn't be able to take head on it was why she relied on manipulation and deception. Logan looked around her surrounding, searching for any type of shelter. It was getting colder and she was tired, she didn't get a wink of sleep.

Eventually, she spotted a rundown diner, it looked as if it was burnt pretty badly but at least it was still standing. Unbeknownst to her, there was a girl staying there. Deciding that she was desperate enough she made her way over to it.

Jun covered his ears as yet another shot rang out. He was too close for noises that loud, they screwed up his ear vision and scared the shit out of him. Taking a moment to calm himself, Jun pulled his hood back enough to uncover his ears. He instantly wanted to put the thick fabric back over his head, but he needed to know what was around him.

It took a moment, but he eventually made out a vague motion from a person. But were they really human, that's the kicker. He did need somewhere to stay, after all... Jun pulled the furred hood back over his ears and began to approach the man who he didn't had just nearly shot him on purpose. He had his spear ready, just in case it was actually a trap. After all, it was the apocalypse.

((Ill be back tomorrow! night yall!))

Peter was growing near to the frozen pond when he heard the sound of twigs aggressively snapping. He paused and looked at the trees. He knew he had to start running. Dropping his bucket he turned and started sprinting toward the center of the town, hearing the sound of creatures chasing him. He could hear the sound of gunshots. Who was dumb enough to shoot right now? Were there that many?

Peter made it toward the center, seeing the town hall. That was the absolute center and he saw three other people running that way. He guessed that meant there was no running straight. He booked it for the town hall and attempted to open the door but it was blocked. He turned frantically. The creatures were here. He quickly saught out a window and smashed it by elbowing it, climbing through. He saw some guy in a gas masks which he didn't know why he was wearing and quickly dropped behind a bench for cover. He didn't feel like getting shot by whoever that man was, nor the other people entering the building in a desperate attempt to either get away from the creatures or murder the people inside. He took out his pistol and aimed it at the broken window, watching for any creatures smart enough to attempt coming through

((I'm so sorry y'all I stopped being sent notifications!!!))

Jun didn't need his powers to hear the monsters closing in quickly. Luckily, all the noise being made helped him get a good view of the area. The window!

He followed after the blob that had broken into the stranger's current base, diving through the small space and breaking his fall with a roll. Well... Kind of. Jun's backpack took all his momentum away, leaving the man stuck on his back like a turtle. He struggled for a moment, trying to avoid cutting his clothing, and skin, on the shards of glass underneath.

Eventually, he was able to roll over and take his spear off the ground, holding it ready. Glancing around the space, he clicked his tongue. Normally, it would've needed to be louder and would've only given him an idea of an object's location, but now he had an ability. It was almost like the sonar on a submarine, make a sound, it bounces off things, the sound comes back and you get a shape.

He spotted a desk and made it his main priority to get that desk over to block the window.

Logan Carter

Logan was about to go into the diner when she saw monsters quickly approaching her. She didn't have time to think about where they came from as she began running for her life. She ran away from the diner knowing it wouldn't be strong enough to hold off the monsters. Instead, she ran towards the town hall, where she saw some other people heading in the same direction. Logan rolled her eyes Just great. Logan didn't like staying in large groups, it was much easier to manipulate people when they were isolated from everyone else.

Logan spotted a window that was small, it would be a tight fit but she knew she could make it. She ran towards it at full speed to increase her momentum and scaled the wall. Using her upper body strength she was able to get into the town hall. At least she would be safe from the monster but then she would have to deal with other people which was something she wanted to avoid.

The figure clad in white had disappeared from Cassidy's line of sight, but soon after another figure replaced them. As Logan approached the diner Cassidy raised her weapon, training it on the strange girl, but it was short lived. The girl was being followed by monsters and quickly took off in the other direction. Cas held her position, letting Logan lead the monsters away from the diner for the time being. The woman was so focused on the scene playing out in front of her that she hardly realized the creatures coming in from the back of the diner. By the time she did they were almost right on her. Desperate to get away, Cassidy practically fell through the front door of the diner, slipping on the fresh snow outside. She scrambled to her feet and sprinted away in the direction the other two people went, hopeful to find some sort of support.

Everything was white, the falling snow blended all the streets and buildings together. It seemed like it was coming down heavier and heavier as the creatures converged. Amidst the frenzy, Cassidy still managed to find the townhall. The closest entrance was the window Peter had smashed in, and Cas wasted no time barreling through herself. The woman leapt to her feet, instantly pointing her weapon at the other people in the room, her aim jumping back and forth between each of them. Snow clung to her clothes and melted in her hair. Her eyes were wide, frantic, as she looked them over. Nothing was said, but everyone in the room could recognize a common enemy - the creatures. The other humans might have malicious intentions, but she would cross that bridge when they came to it. For now, the creatures were the most obvious threat and Cassidy switched her aim to focus on them.

Danaper stares at each individual person for a few seconds then gets some human meat out of his bag and starts handing it out. After he does that he takes off his gas mask and says "Don't be scared to eat it, I eat humans all the time, it's fun. Plus all of you seem to be so hurt from the apocalypse, like you hate killing to survive, well, I love it, I don't kill you guys because there are a shitload of monsters outside the door, so don't make me angry."

Danaper scans the room and takes a dresser then slams it on the floor for more cover. He then sharpens his bayonet and turns to Logan Carter. "Hey your the ass who didn't answer my call." Then he scans her a little more realizing just by the look of her face she was manipulative. "Don't try manipulating me, I'm never afraid to kill a woman, their muscles taste good with salt to so I have absolutely no problem eating you, literally."

Peter flinched backwards as someone came flying through the window he broke. It took almost all of his willpower not to start filling them with bullets. The woman did aim a gun at everyone in the room but she stopped. It seemed everyone knew the only way they were going to get out of this was to team up. The guy in the gas mask was handing out meat, and claimed that it was human flesh. He said it tasted good? Great, he was stuck with a psychopath. Maybe the other three weren't so bad and would help if he tried to murder them all.

"Uh... I think I'll stick with crackers and rabbit, thanks." Peter says, picking up a piece of wood that had been snapped off a bench and pushing the flesh away from him with it. "I don't think now's the time to be eating anyway. We have to get out of here. Anyone have any ideas?" He huffs, turning back to the window.

A bit of panic spiked up inside him at the sight of the creatures. There were at least 20 of them, which was a lot considering how dangerous they were. Maybe they could run? Or maybe they could manage to kill them all off by guarding the town hall? One creature tried to get through the window and he quickly shot it three times in the head. It collapsed and fell back outside. Peter wasn't in the best position so he got up and moved to the other side of the bench, deciding he would be better off risking getting shot then getting brutally mauled if one of them got through. He held tightly to his gun, his hands shaking a bit from uncontrollable fear.

Logan scrutinized everyone in the room. This was the last place she wanted to be. She looked around the room trying to get a sense of who everyone was. She couldn't help but let out a string of curses in her head when she saw that the military man from before had made it inside before the monsters could get him. Great, he's here she thought to herself.

Logan looked at the human meat scornfully and kicked it to the side. Instead, she pulled a granola bar out of her pockets and began to munch on it. She already hated the military guy and was thinking about how the ways she could get him killed.

Logan rolled her eyes at Danaper. "And your the ass who shot the gun, the noise of your gunshot is probably what attracted the monsters," Logan said.

"Is that what you call a threat, I'm shaking," Logan replied sarcastically. "Newsflash we're all stuck here, I literally have no reason to manipulate you."

Logan turned her attention from Danaper to look at Peter "Maybe we can create some type of diversion that'll distract them giving us enough time to run."

Jun did not like the idea of eating human meat for multiple reasons, mainly because he knew the effects of consuming human flesh. Humans had proteins that were not meant to be eaten by other humans. That being said, he shook his head and picked up his spear. Maybe he should stop setting it down. He had backed away from the window after getting the desk at least partially blocking the space, but now it seemed he was going back.

Jun could practically feel the fear and tension in the air. Everyone was tense, whether about being around other people or the monsters outside, or even both. He sighed as others already began arguing, but he thought about Logan's idea.

"Waiting might be a good option, but," He motioned to the broken window, showing the building's lack of security as he came to assist the figure by the window. "Perhaps you should gather yourself," He advised, setting up his spear like a pool cue on the edge of the desk. The man realized his message might have been misinterpreted as less friendly, but he didn't want to make it worse, so he kept quiet.
