Personality:

Perhaps his greatest strength, or his weakest, Alaric is a very driven and focused individual. He exudes a sense of calm and neutrality, but this is little more than an extraordinarily well-maintained facade. Once his mind is set on something there is no changing it. He’ll keep pushing forward until whatever ambitions he may be pursuing are either accomplished or else no longer relevant. He’s a passionate, outgoing man all around, usually with an encouraging word for everyone he meets so long as they remain on his good side. His natural charisma may be mistaken for being flirtatious, but more often than not he’s only trying to be friendly. On the occasion, he actually is flirting, It's unmistakable as he isn’t shy and is known for being straightforward. Alaric is renowned for his courage, never one to back down from a challenge no matter the danger. While not quick to resort to violence, he has a fuse difficult to put out once ignited. In the few instances he’s needed to fight, he proved vicious and brutal to his opponents. Whether in regards to true friends or a lover he’s undyingly devoted, despite some finding him flaky and unreliable. One of his worst traits is his predisposition to jealousy. While both confident and self-assured, he doesn’t take well to anything or anyone he perceives as a threat to his relationships. He doesn’t hide his displeasure well in such cases and things can get ugly if not addressed in the early stages.​

Appearance:

Alaric is an undeniably tall fellow, reaching a total height of 6’3”. His short curly chocolate colored hair is seemingly always sleek and well groomed. A decent amount of facial hair covers the jawline and upper lip, trimmed short and neat. He strikes a rather regal figure with an angular jawline, defined cheekbones, a nose that rounds out near the tip and dark, almond-shaped eyes, nearly as rich as his hair. His build is lean and muscled, neither scrawny nor bulky. A detailed tattoo of a wolf can be found trailing down the upper left arm from shoulder to elbow. He tends to dress in various shades of black, neutrals and white, loose fitting shirts paired with either jeans that are tighter than most other guys wear them, and brown or black boots. His skin tone is light tan, a very faint dusting of freckles scattered over his cheeks and nose. His voice rings with the sound of an accent of a far away land.​

History:

Alaric grew up unlike most children in the small German town he called home. He was doted on by servants and maids, was given anything he yearned for, and was provided first-class educational experiences and instructors. While most children would have been ever so thankful for a life he lived, Alaric always felt he didn't belong in the family he was born to. He didn't quite fit in with his royal sister and cousins. They seemed to thrive in the life they were given, while Alaric seemed to always fight against it. As a young boy, Alaric struggled to comply with the royal rules and would run off with the other children of the town much to his parents disapproval. Though over time, as Alaric grew older, he became quite the diplomat, full of charisma and charm, his strength and will outshone most of his cousins and his undying devotion to those close to him earned him recognition within his family. Despite this, Alaric continued to yearn for the life he didn't have. In secret, Alaric lived a double life amongst the common people he considered just as close to him as his own blood. The boys he had grown up with over the years were now like brothers to him, amongst them, was Alaric's closest friend, Kaspar Bauer. When Alaric's parents informed him of his stay at Blackwood manor, he was furious and distraught over leaving the life he knew but despite his protests he now found himself here, surrounded by other people in his same position.​

Personality:

Casey is a very bubbly girl. She loves to have friends, and loves to be a good friend. She is sweet and kind to everyone she meets, sometimes even when she has reason not to be. Her kindness can be a flaw, and sometimes she unintentionally allows people to take advantage of it. Although she is friendly, when it comes to being flirty or more specifically being flirted with, she can be extremely oblivious. She takes flirtatious hints, phrases and movements as a sign of close friendship, it can be hard to get through to her. She can always be found with a close friend or trying to make one, she is rarely on her own unless she really has to or needs it, but those instances are rare and she would much rather be with someone.​

Appearance:

Casey has mid length blonde hair, usually styled in beautiful waterfall waves that rest just on her shoulders. She has striking blue eyes that absolutely light up when she's excited, which is often. She is pale, which make her soft freckles stand out even more. She is a small girl, standing at just 5'2, with a small figure, but that did not mean she was as weak as she looked. She was quite strong despite how she appeared. She has pierced ears, usually with heart shaped silver earrings. She wore a small silver locket daily, inside is a picture of her grandmother with her as a child, an important figure in her childhood and someone she wanted to keep with her forever. Her style was typically a cropped hoodie with high waisted skinny jeans, along with a pair of white sneakers.​

History:

Casey comes from a family of the lower middle class. Her family had enough for food and a home, as well as some comfort items, but they were by no means rich and sometimes had to live paycheck to paycheck. Her family more or less forced her into Blackwood Manor to help her find love past her oblivious nature. She lived with her mother, father, older brother and grandmother since she was born, but unfortunately her grandmother passed away just two years ago. She'd gotten herself together by the time she was sent off, but it was still hard for her occasionally. When Casey was told she was being sent off, she was a little upset. But she understood why, and once she got over it, she was excited to meet new friends and people, and hopefully meet her soulmate at the manor.​

Personality:

Due to the constraints of her upbringing, outwardly Rosalyn is polite, poised and just smart enough to get into good schools but not threaten the ego of the men in her circles. In actuality, Rosalyn is a storm of emotions with a short fuse, sarcastic nature, distrust for others and intelligence that demands she strive for more that her expected role allows. Rosalyn is in a constant battle with herself as she becomes more and more aware of how little she is able to show of her true personality. She yearns to rebel, but fears the rejection of her family and society if she were to. In order to deal with her cognitive dissonance, Rosalyn tries to mute her anger and other emotions and find a middle ground. Even when irate, she keeps a cool, almost icy, demeanor, making it seem like she has a thick skin, when she really doesn’t. Whether she’ll admit it to herself or not, deep down Rosalyn just wants to be accepted for the person she chooses to be, not the person her parents chose for her to be. For those able to disarm her, she is very loyal and capable of caring very deeply for them. Her one release is to dance or go running, but only in private.​

Appearance:

Rosalyn’s naturally dark red hair frames her fair face and cascades down past her waist. Her long-lashed eyes are green, in most lights, but occasionally hint of blue, and are almost too large for her face. A refined nose sets off her large eyes though, and is complimented by full lips. A dimpled chin finishes off her face, which Rosalyn hates due to being teased as a child for it. Standing at 5’7”, Rosalyn has a slim dancer’s build from years of ballet when younger, but puberty gifted/cursed her with a larger chest, which Rosalyn tries to hide with her clothing. Her wardrobe is simple, yet proper, consisting mainly of high necked blouses with skirts or tea dresses. She is almost religious about wearing a thin ribbon tied around her neck to match her outfit. Her voice is bittersweet- pleasant to the ears but often sarcastic.​

History:

Rosalyn was born into a political family of newly found power. Unlike those in government that came from old money, her family always had to prove their worth and that they belonged, so Rosalyn was brought up with a rigid and strict regimen. While groomed to be a perfect maiden, and able to put on a good show publicly, Rosalyn is anything but internally. Her paternal grandfather, who was not in the political ring, was the only one she ever felt saw her for who she really is and cared for her without any expectations. He noticed Rosalyn struggled as a child to behave and was prone to angry crying fits, so one day he gifted her a pretty ribbon. He tied the ribbon around her neck and with a wink, told her that as long as it was tied, the ribbon would help to keep her from losing her head. As a child Rosalyn took her grandfather literally and refused to remove the ribbon in fear of her head falling off, but now that she is older she uses the ribbon as a symbolic reminder to keep her composure. Rosalyn has two older brothers whom she is envious of due to them being allowed more freedoms and power. Her parents love her, but she questions whether they would feel the same if she was to show her true self. For this reason, she has jaded views on love and questions whether it truly exists beyond the surface level. When her parents told her that she would be sent to Blackwood Manor, she did not protest. However, she did pack a suitcase with the intent of running away in the middle of the night, but never gathered enough courage to escape.​

Personality: Elle can be a rebellious and firey young woman. Abandonment and a forced independence made her develop a hardiness and confidence to stay strong that cannot be found in most young women her age. Elle is still not used to the finer things in life despite her living with a wealthy couple of Doctors for the past 11 years who have doted on her and given her everything. She is far from materialistic and struggles to understand those whom live for wealth. She has a hard exterior, but inside she has a warm heart and can be a hopeless romantic due to her inexperience of true love. She is also particularly protective of the weak or those whom are having a bad time as they remind her of herself. Though closed off at first, when she eventually trusts someone she can fall hard and protect that person with her life. Often she can be found with her nose deep in a fantasy book or drawing in her sketch pad. She has a deep love for her brother Harley, but she doesn't quite understand his newly found values of materialism and does not approve of his new personality traits. Despite this, they are close and he is her best friend.

Appearance: Elle enjoys a unique style of fashion and tends to style herself this way too. She can be seen currently with long red hair, but it changes like the seasons. Her Spanish heritage gave her olive skin and a spraying of freckles across her cheeks. Her eyes shine bright blue behind long dark lashes and she can always be seen with soft red lipstick on her lips. She is only 5'0 and curvy, but that doesn't mean she cannot defend herself as she is well built and strong. Tattoos of multiple designs and colour are dotted over her body which are a display of her artistic side and she can be seen with a small ring piecing over her lower lip and in her nose. Her clothing style is always with a unique flair to it, such as a leather jacket, ripped shorts and long black boots.


History: Abandoned by her birth parents in Spain, Elle spent 7 years of her childhood in an institution for troubled children where she was separated from her brother Harley. Here she fought for every meal and against bullying groups. She became strongly independent and tough, yet always wished to be adopted by a nice family. At the age of 12 she and her brother were adopted by a British couple whom were successful Doctors and couldn't conceive their own children and she was thrust into a life of luxury. Her newly adopted parents brought her to their manor and gave her everything she could possibly need and more. Being used to a life of poverty, Elle struggled to adapt to having so many possessions and has tried to adapt. She spent a lot of time alone in her room or helping their maid with the cooking, she hated having staff wait on her but was always grateful of the life her adoptive parents gave her. When she was told about Blackwood, she was reluctant to meet so many new people as she preferred solitude. However she would never say no to her adoptive parents as she owes them her life and she understands their view that she is too closed off to love and they only want what is best for her.

Personality: When abandoned as a child, Harley had a different experience to his sister. He was always welcomed and well liked in the home he stayed in and became popular fast and the centre of attention. His charisma and social skills could charm anyone and he enjoys flirting with women. He is a loyal friend and will help others, however he enjoys having a reward in return. Material possessions mean a lot to him and he often tries to forget his upbringing in poverty. He is rather intelligent and this often surprises people due to his goofy nature and class clown exterior. However, if you catch him alone he will sometimes be reading a book or studying, even if he laughs it off in front of friends. He has a love for sport and sciences. His twin sister is the one person who he places all trust in so far and he would protect her with his life.


Appearance: Harley is taller than his twin sister and stands at around 6'0. He is slim with muscular arms and a healthy look due to his newly found love for healthy foods and physical fitness. His Spanish birth gives him olive skin and freckles like his sister, however his hair is fawn brown and always well styled. Harley takes great care in his appearance and his bright blue eyes catch the attention of most who walk by. His cheekbones are well structured and he can often be seen with neatly trimmed facial hair. Fashion is important to him and his now lavish lifestyle has allowed him to wear blazers with crisp white shirts underneath and smart shoes.

He took to his new lifestyle quickly and spent his time making many new friends, having parties, spending his new found wealth and flirting with women. When he was told about Blackwood, he saw it as an opportunity to meet new people and new women. He is sure he won't find true love and only intends to search for something casual, but will he be surprised?

She also has many opinions which she will not hide or apologize for.

Rosie is slightly under average height at 5'3". She's petite and quite skinny. Something her father and step-mother always nag her about. She has dark brown hair, that falls to about mid back and striking blue eyes to contrast her hair. She is quite pale, to her step-mother's dismay. Her features are soft and delicate; very rounded and feminine.
