Fantasy The Worst Pantheon: Live and Reloaded (IC Thread) (OPEN)

OOC
Here

Ocaeril/Inqui barely had any time to react, but the time they did have was more than enough. All of the Truth Seeker Balls that Ocaeril gave to the gods, followed by their Chakra, suddenly flew in front of Yimor, and tried to act as a shield to the Lightbringer's attack. Due to the fact Ocaeril had teleported him relatively close to himself, too, he would try and surround his body with even more Chakra for protection, while still maintaining the Truth-Seeker in front of Yimor for defense!

It was unlikely Ocaeril would be able to block everything, as he yelled a scream for himself in motivation, trying his best to maintain his defense to protect the other gods. They could see the massive fox holding out their four arms in front of the massive black orb in front of them, trying their best to hold away the attack that Yimor had summoned...Momentarily, they could see Ocaeril, in his Chakra Cloak mode, doing the same, with Inqui's essence surrounding him...

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH...! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH!" With everything he had, he held on- feeling the neverending heat from Yimor. As the attack finally ceased, the orbs retracted and started to fly around him on his back. "INQUI! LET'S FINISH THIS! FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL! USE...USE EVERYTHING YOU GOT! I'M NOT LETTING ANYONE DIE HERE TODAY! SHAAAAAAAAAAAAANDAAAAAAAROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

( BlackCat-055 BlackCat-055 )

Ocaeril would then lift his four swords up, and once more, due to the fact Yimor was so close, he would stab all four of them into different parts of his body. His torso, and his wings. Two on each, to be more specific. After that, if it hit, he'd hold all four arms up, and start punching Yimor on the face using Taijutsu and the Eighth Gate, which greatly improved his physical strength. If the Seventh Gate could lift Ickol's hammer, then who knows what sort of damage the Eighth could do?

Inqui nodded mentally.

"YOU GOT IT HUBBIE! LETS FINISH THIS!"

Inqui thought deeply to herself, she concentrated everything, her prana, her essence, she called to her Heroes in the throne, she called to the Grand Candidates, she called to herself.

Inqui concentrated everything into one form, a sword, she screams as she pours more and more of her essence into it, she grunts as she appeared from Ocaeril's back, wielding a giant force of power congealed into a shape of a sword that towered over Yimor himself.

"T-TAKE THIS! THE SWORD THAT BEHOLDS THE DESTINY OF A HERO! GLADIUS! PARCAEUM! AGHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Inqui then slashed downwards into Yimor

The Dragon suddenly twisted, biting the sword in massive jaws. Lightning struck through the sword.

Helsa's corruptive blasts missed Yimor entirely given his status of being immersed in the sun, the light of which made aiming an impossibility, and Zemrasil barely seemed to be affected. Ickol, meanwhile, felt herself to be slightly invigorated, although Yimor could not be seen due to his immersion in the sun, and he himself felt his strength returning to him quickly for as long as he stayed put. Meanwhile, Yimor felt Ocaeril's arrow connect, and was considerably hurt despite the sun weakening the damage and improving his own strength. Zemrasil, meanwhile, faded into the portal after having incinerated a good number of comet sharks. Inqui shielded ocaeril, however this proved only a minor defense given her own malleability. Still, the power that ocaeril granted her would likely serve ocaeril just as well. Yimor also feels a surge of power coming as Tiamat's beam of starlight passes into him, its light healing him a great deal. Yimor, however, found that biting onto a ball of celestial aether, which was in no way solid, was impossible, and failed to drain any significant portion of energy from the sun itself. In nine timelines where this wasn't the case however, all life, including Yimor, was purged from Ocaeril. He was, however, very capable of emitting a blast of light approximating the power of a solar flare from his mouth, engulfing the gods just moments before Ocaeril raised his defenses and dealing considerable damage. Depriving Helsa, Ickol, Corven and Kurantse of the strength granted by Ocaeril, and melting the remaining comet-sharks. Ocaeril did not feel the effects, however it was Inqui who took the brunt of the blast for him, taking all the damage he would have incurred onto himself. Inqui, however, seemed completely unwavering, not even melting slightly as she was hit. She herself began to feel stronger as well. As she swung the sword, Yimor found himself just slightly too slow in his response, still recovering from having fired the solar flare, and one of his teeth was broken off as it impacted him. The lightning barely seemed to effect Inqui, although it did carry over into Ocaeril, being quite unpleasant. The sword, not being an actual sword, did not cut through him. However, it did send him flying out of the sun at hypersonic velocity, slamming into the crystal sphere and snapping a number of his spines.

Meanwhile, Zemrasil's presence in the warp was causing a seemingly random epidemic of instantaneous disintegration on the planet as he navigated the warp, leaving a trail of death which extinguished any souls that passed through it via the materium. The Dark Phoenix emerged from a similar portal outside of the boundary of ocaeril, and sought out his mate, thinking he may need to try another approach.

"INQUI!" Screaming her name, Ocaeril seemingly realized that the goddess of heroes got hit, as...Actual tears that quickly burned off his skin due to his Chakra and the heat of the sun. Rage quickly came over to him, as he opened his mouth both in and out his Kitsune form, showing off massive fangs, as inside of it...Ocaeril gently took Inqui away from his body, no longer allowing her to act as an armor. Yes, he knew that was probably foolish, and she was giving him a chance to survive, but...He couldn't afford to see her hurt! Instead, he placed her slimy form under his cloak, as Inqui could feel protected, and no longer connected to the Kitsune form.

"YIIIIIIIIIIMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!" With rage only seen when Zeruel attacked the Jade, Ocaeril charged at Yimor with all the speed he had, kicking him while he was still downed from Inqui's attack, before raising all four of his swords up! "I WON'T LET YOU HURT HER!"

With speed and finesse, Ocaeril would then stab two of his swords into Yimor's torso, charging a lot of Chakra into them to deal more damage, not caring about seeing his face accidentally, as with the other two arms holding other two swords from earlier, and he swung them on his wings, attempting to cut them off. All the meanwhile he was doing this, he was headbutting his head on his, and even opening and closing his mouth, as if trying to bite on it and rip it off.

"THIS IS FOR MY CHILDREN! MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS! MY FRIENDS! AND INQUI!"

With one final headbutt and ferocity not seen before, Ocaeril roared, before getting a few meters (actually kilometers due to his size) away.

Yimor'droth Attack

Yimor'droth writhed in pain, and then bit the god of evolution. Molten flesh fused into Ocaeril, merging with his arm. Yimor then ripped away, attempting to remove the entire limb.

Ickol coughed. Ugh, that didn’t do as well as she thought. She was still getting smacked flat if she ran out there even with a bit of recovery. She held off on attacking, and instead crafted an illusion of a healing potion and ‘drank’ it, before loudly shouting next to the other gods.

BOY...AM...I...GLAD...I...HAD...THIS...SUPER...RARE...HEALING...POTION. NOW...I...AM...FEELING...ALL...BETTER.

*Crack* "SNAAAAAAAAKE!" *Crack*

"DAMN IT, LET ME HIT YOU!" Helsa shrieked, the corruptive energy surging in response to her fury, an aura resembling two entwined snakes appearing around her. With a roar of rage and hatred, Helsa launched several blasts of corruptive energy at Yimor, the energy taking the form of gigantic black snakes. If the blasts hit, the energy would both cause his light to dim and his body itself to rot, the corruptive power seeping into his body and harming him.

Great, stars don't do that much and it only heals the enemy. And also, she took damage the same time Ocaeril did. This time, it'll be something different. She does make another spherical egg, trying to gather meteors, the ice from another planet, seal it in then fly back to the area. But this time, she covers her egg with her wings, making it cold. The noises were her grunting, her 'song'(which was in-and-out sort of deal), and roars full of anger.

It seems Tiamat wanted to power this egg with her emotions, with it being cold and possibly darkened... and once she unleashed the creature out of the egg, it was... not something anybody can immediately identify(because there's no idea what the shape is, but it seemed pretty serpent-like). It can be called like a Shadow Drainer. It was made to try and reduce the light from Yimor in each limb by a bite, and the meteor-ice parts of it made it crushing and cold. It blends in really well, considering most of space is full of darkness, and it can only be seen if light made it visible. It's starting with one of Yimor's legs.

Yimor'droth Attack

Yimor'droth writhed in pain, and then bit the god of evolution. Molten flesh fused into Ocaeril, merging with his arm. Yimor then ripped away, attempting to remove the entire limb.

"GHK- GWAAAAAAAAAAH!" Ocaeril also screamed in pain, but his scream, unlike Yimor's, was filled with emotion. Anger, hatred, all negative emotions directed Yimor, but...The gods, more specifically, Inqui and Tiamat, and maybe, just maybe...Helsa as well...Could feel other emotions from him. Love, Care, Worry, Determination, Courage. A neverending spirit that kept fighting on against Yimor, even despite all odds. He wasn't Inqui, where the world and universe seemed to shift to make him stronger, but in emotion...He was almost the same. Nothing happened, of course, as the god kept on fighting against the dragon god on close combat, but...

Until they're all safe...Until there are no dangers...I CAN'T DIE!

Slapping himself in the face within the Chakra construct, seemingly to numb himself from the pain, Ocaeril pushed onwards, trying to overpower Yimor, but soon- his eyes widened, as he saw the attacks of two goddesses. Helsa, and Tiamat. More tears came from his eyes, as he looked behind him, seeing the two. And, with gritted teeth, he yelled out to them. Even more emotion came out, as he cried out.

"TIAMAT! HELSA! DON'T...DON'T LEAD HIM TO YOU! I CAN'T LET HIM HURT YOU TWO! I WON'T LET HIM HURT ANYONE!"

There was a thin line between courage and foolishness. Ocaeril was clearly being foolish, even they could see it. But even so...It was clear he didn't want them to die or get badly hurt like he was.

His being was overloading with love...

...And yet, he had no love for his self-care!

Helsa stared at Ocaeril.

He doesn't want me to attack because he's worried about me?! I'm the Corruptor! I turned on him during the Kitsune incident! I even MADE a new Kitsune! And...he's still worried?

She...she just couldn't understand him.

You...

"YOU IDIOT!" She shrieked, the confusion palpable in her tone. "What are you doing?!"

Ocaeril didn't even bother looking back. Although, Helsa could tell he was listening, followed by a soft nudge of his head. Tears kept going down, either from pain, exhaustion, emotion, or anything else. His breathing was heavy due to all the effort he's making, as he shook his head quickly, before speaking out loud.

"I'M FIGHTING, DUMBASS!" His reply soon came, loud enough for every god to hear it. "HELSA! WE MAY HAVE FOUGHT IN THE PAST, YOU MAY HAVE BETRAYED ME, AND YOU MAY BE COWARDLY, BUT...YOU...YOU WERE STILL MY FIRST FRIEND! I CAN'T FORGIVE YA FOR SOME OF THE STUFF YOU DID, THEN I WOULD JUST BE A DUMBASS! BUT...I SURE AS HELL AIN'T FORGETTING! YOU WERE THERE WHEN ALMOST NOBODY WAS!"

"
MOM! YOU'RE MY MOM! YOU TOOK ME IN WHEN I WAS A CHILD! YOU TAUGHT ME LOVE! I CAN'T JUST FORGET ALL THE SACRIFICES YOU MADE! YOU SHAPED ME INTO WHAT I AM!"

"
AND INQUI...I LOVE YOU! 'NUFF SAID!"

Pushing past the pain, Ocaeril smiled between his tears.

A father didn't need any reason to protect his children...

...Or his family!

"But...I'm the Corruptor..." She mumbled quietly, Ocaeril barely able to hear her. "I can't...that..."

While she was making sure the shadow drainer tried draining the enemy's light, she looked over to to Ocaeril with a sad look. He really was giving his all and weakening himself... With that, she made a loud roar, that did say her emotional song. "AAAHHH! Aaaaa, Aaaahhhh!!!" (MY CHILD! If you dare die while protecting us, I'll be weakened too!!!) She was serious by that roar, and she... might be sobbing? In fact, sadness and anger seem to mix together... "Aaahhh... ahh... ah..." (I cannot afford losing another child... I... don't...)

... Damn, this fear is deep. She'll get back to roaring afterwards, symbolizing she needs him protected at any necessary moment.

The adversary blinked.

Huh. He was genuine about this emotional barf, wasn’t he? It was always a little sobering when others truly believed in their false goodwill. Didn’t change the necessity of her opposition, but did take the fun out of the cruelty of it.

Privately, just for a moment, she hoped the idiot would die a heroic stupid death taking down Yimor. He goes out saving the world. The others have time to grieve and move on. He’s given a much more merciful end then when she eventually needs to complete her task. She still didn’t like him personally, which would make it easier when the time came, but still she prayed for several moments and wondered what above her would even listen.

Then she sighed, put on a fake smile and cutesy voice, and cheered the poor blind fake hero on. At the very least, this was going to be amusing.

Then she sighed, put on a fake smile and cutesy voice, and cheered the poor blind fake hero on. At the very least, this was going to be amusing.
Yimor’droth dove towards the planet, cauterizing Their wounds with fire. Yimor would make landfall if it was the last thing They did.

*Crack* "SNAAAAAAAAKE!" *Crack*
Inqui gritted her teeth and screamed at Yimor not in pain, but in defiance, pain, just pain, so, so much, but she had to brunt it all, for Inqui had to protect Ocaeril no matter what, she still had to, protect her beloved, no matter what.

when all was finished, she grutned as she fell unconscious, the pain was too much.

Inqui seethed as she felt the pain coursing within her like venom, she instinctively moved closer to Ocareril for support.

Inqui in her deepest minds felt Ocaeril, his anger at Yimor and his love for her and others, she gave out one message and placed it within Ocaeril's mind.

"O-oca, I love you..please..b-be safe"

Inqui then murmured as she tried to gain the back the energy she needed to get back in the fight.
Yimor’droth dove towards the planet, cauterizing Their wounds with fire. Yimor would make landfall if it was the last thing They did.
Space Buddha Space Buddha
Eventually she did, and as she opened her eyes, so heavy like steel shutters, she saw the blurry image of Yimor diving into the planet, Ocaeril, her hubbie, her eyes shot up as bolstering vigor and strength poured within her veins, she shot up and zoomed into Yimor with the speed of light, before Yimor could get any nearer into the planet, she pulled him to her and collided with him, she swallowed him whole into her slimy body, turning her body into a prison for him, would he escape? Maybe, but she'll still hold on, her slime turned malicious and dangerous, became acid-like in nature as it ate away into Yimor's body, even if she'll die now, she doesn't care, she will keep fighting on to kill Yimor here and now, she needed to do this, she won't let him hurt Ocaeril any more, even, even if she had to die to save a life.

But that's what a hero does? A hero does what's right no matter the cost.

And so Inqui accepted her final fate and poured all of her strength into it, she used all of her essence to eat away at Yimor, she didn't care if she'll die in the end, she'll do it till her last undying breath.

But it was hard for her to do so, she need to find more, more and more to destroy this INSUFFERABLE ABOMINATION OF NATURE!

W-what?

Inqui flinched, confused on her sudden nature when she felt her, her.

Everything turned to black as she was now in a velvet blue room with checkered floor and curtains for walls, she was suddenly wearing a ball gown that was translucent and shining in nature, she also heard music, dark tones from a piano, fluid, highly posh, yet all the more subtly menacing, she turned around to see her.

It was someone who looked like her, but her gown was darker, it turned from the shallow rivers to the darkest and deepest of oceans, red jagged lines red like blood yet glowing like the simmering heat of an underground volcano were traced over it, her skin was more paler, becoming albino in nature, she had a black veil, like one would wear to a funeral, she continued to play her dark tones with a smirk on her face, when she finished, her smirk turned into a face-splitting grin, showing off her fanged teeth, she turned to Inqui and opened her eyes, those yellow eyes filled with malice and hate.

It was really her, the opposite of Inqui, the one who rebelled against her like Meryl did with Aqua, the one who said that to be a hero she had to destroy what was, is, and will be evil, she was, Igna Rance, the Alter of Inqui.

"Well, well, well! What do we have here?~" She stepped of her seat and walked around Inqui, prowling about like a predator finding the right time to strike.

Inqui responded immediately "Stop the games Igna! Just tell me what you want!"

"Oh? Tell you what I want? And even if I did had something to want from you, aside from your agonizingly long death, why would I tell you them hmm?"

"Wait wha?"

"Yes, yes, you really are a dull girl if you can think that I could really break free from this claustrophobic prison you placed me in withing the deepest reaches of your subconsciousness, after all, you made it, and the only way I could be free in any way, is through you"

"...."

"Hmph, I guess you do know now, anyways I can see you're having trouble killing off this Yima Yimer whatever, using all your essence yet needing more, seems like you need some extra help huh?"

"..."

"Am I right? Or am I right hmm?~"

"...What's your price?

"Oh confiding are you huh?"

"Don't sass me, just..just tell me what you want"

"Hmm, you know what, I don't want anything"

"H-huh? Wha?"

"Upupup! Before you go blubbering off like a confused duckling, I'll just lay it short, I'm Igna and you're Inqui, practically two different people no? Yet, I am still Inqui as much as you're Aqua, I'm a derivative from you and I am similar in ways to you, like for example,my love for Ocaeril"

"H-hu-"

"Oh shut up! I'm your repressed desires! Back then you already loved Ocaeril! You know that! I know that! You were just afraid to tell your feelings because you decided that Helsa would be better for Ocaeril"

"..."

"D'aaw, did I huwt you feewings?"

".."

"Oh fine, be like that, let's skip this crap, you know that I know that fuckbag needs to go down, even if I have to work with you"

"The feeling's mutual"

Inqui then took Igna's arm and both for now, were one.

Outside the slimy prison that held Yimor as it devoured him from within convulsed and bubbled as red glowing lines pass over it as some parts darkened, a maniacal cackling was heard as Yimor was brutally tortured by the darker slime that devoured him more intensely than before, the acidity of the slime was even higher as it tried to hold down Yimor and kill him with their dying breaths.

"YOU WONT HURT OUR HUBBIE!"

Ocaeril's arm was torn off, the wound cauterized by molten gold but at the cost of being impossible to regenerate. Worse yet, coming so close to Yimor and locking eyes with the dragon struck him blind within minutes. Somewhere on the planet below, an explosion as strong as that of a nuclear fusion bomb detonated, likely somewhere in the ocean, but still devastating the area. Still, to the gods who could see, Yimor had been left wounded as well, though likely by Kurantse's price rather than Ocaeril's swords, which, although failing to sever Yimor's wings, did manage to tear one to near useless shreds and impale the dragon, though not to lethal effect. Ickol, meanwhile, didn't seem to really believe hard enough, and the potion was just an illusion. Helsa's snakes miss, their creator having invoked murphy at the wrong time. Inqui's attempt to imprison Yimor within herself lasted only briefly, given the extent she had to spread herself thin in order to encase the dragon before his radioactive breath and the extreme heat of his scales forced her off. However, she did at the very least seem to slow him down, and as he phased through the crystal sphere the whole of Ocaeril beheld the dragon falling from the sky. His light was such that none saw his face, save for those directly adjacent to his crash, who themselves were already doomed, as Yimor crashed on a large Enfogged island somewhere in the east Ocaerillian ocean. The fog dispersed, and any life not already choked by the toxic fumes that had overtaken the island was burned alive by the intensity of Yimor's light. Yimor, however, was looking quite worse for wear. The price of breaking Inqui's hold had been hefty, as was that of blinding Ocaeril, and reentry had not done him any favors. His wing was in tatters and he would need to regenerate before he could fly again, let alone travel at light speed, and the island was only big enough for so much of his body as his tail stretched out and caused steam and dead things to rise from the sea. His impact had also caused water to rush out from the area, no doubt to devastate surrounding islands, and he also seems to have disrupted tectonic activity in the area, causing underwater volcanic eruptions to be visible around the area, as well as those on nearby islands. The sky was colored pitch black with a combination of dust particles, volcanic ash, and toxic fog, all

Man, come on. This is getting ridiculous. It’s like the random number god of fate was just laughing at her today. Laughing at all of them. Of course, that’s ridiculous. There is obviously no such thing as a dice god, in this or any other universe, and if there were it wouldn’t matter because dice in no way hold any meaning in this gripping, violent, constant fight. Still, Yimor was making her look like a chump. Only she makes herself look like a chump! No more Ms. Neutral Girl!

This guy had plenty of boogiemen bumping around in the back of his head, as shown from her visit to his mind in the Dream Plane. Maybe...

Ickol strained to try and concentrate and craft a perfect illusion so Yimor’s nightmares would appear in the physical plane and attack him. Or, barring physicality, at least be traumatic and distracting. She had no idea what Yimor’s actual adversary was really like, but still, drawing up how fear and hatred of it into a being was certain to rough him up, and he was already looking damaged enough to not need something on par with the real deal.

As Ocaeril felt pain coursing through his body, his eyesight failed. His arm was ripped apart, and his full Susano'o form with his Kitsune one disappeared. His Chakra form soon dispersed, only leaving a sad looking and defeated Ocaeril floating in the brink of space. He was alive, but his eyes didn't have any color, his arm was missing, as blood floated out of it, and several scars were in his body, his shirt and outfit ripped, and he breathed in, and out...

In his painful moment, he watched as Yimor dove towards the planet. He wanted to say he had the strength to get up. He wanted to say he had the strength to stop Yimor, he wanted to say he had the strength to kill him, but...In the end...He didn't.

He was too weak. He failed.

...But the others...Haven't.

Ocaeril didn't want this. He didn't want to depend on his friends and family to do the job to him. He was too weak...He was a father, and a father's job was to protect his family. And yet...He would need to watch them fight.

Coughing out blood, he could feel his godly regeneration kicking in, trying to seal the wounds with his cells...And yet, he barely could feel a thing.

"I'm sorry."

His whispers acted as a pathway to the ears of all the gods, as he held up his only available arm, and tried to reach out to Inqui, Helsa, Tiamat, Ickol, Kura...And even Arceus...Before pointing down at the planet. But more specifically, his ''gaze'' was on Inqui.

"Please win. I'm sorry I'm...Weak. Please, go beyond...Do your best, Inqui."

And hearing Helsa's words...He turned to her, a dry smile soon appearing on his lips, as if apologizing.

"I can hear you...Man...You've been...Talking a lot...You don't need to be my friend...But..."

Helsa could suddenly feel the littlest bit of Chakra being born within her, warming her heart, her soul...Almost like a soft embrace of a friend.

"I'm sorry...I couldn't save you..."

...

And so, Ocaeril's eyes closed, as he gently slept in the vacuum of space. His heart beating, but his presence weak.

Helsa felt the Chakra being born within her, and instinctively turned towards where she felt it coming from.

Something in her felt something as she saw Ocaeril floating in space. And that something broke.

"...heh....hah...."

Helsa's head threw back, her eyes dilated as she began to laugh a broken laugh.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!"

Wow. Everyone’s...suddenly...showing...their...cool...side. Now, I’m...not...saying...it’s...definitely...because...Ocaeril...is...gone, buuuuuttttt-

She made a considering face and gestured around making ‘eh? eh?’ sounds to implore the others to consider her totally unbiased point of view.
