Name: Amakin II. Carivar

Age: 310

Gender: Male

Species/Race: Fireborn. The fire took part of his body in exchange for power. Those for example are an englengthened life and the powers later mentioned.

Kingdom of Origin: Ragnavar

Powers:

Inner Flame

Amakin is able to create fire out of thin air. He can form it and enlargen it to his wish, but it stays fire.

Warmth

Amakin is able to consume fire to heal him, as well at making fire be able to only hurt certain people. Further, fire will be like a meal for him if consumed. This is an ability he gained through large sacrifices, which are mentioned in his bio.

Ashes and Cinder

If a living object (person, monster or animal) is consumed by the flames Amakin creates, he will gain strength according to the creatures strength for a limited period of time. The time as well depends on the strength of the being consumed.

Mark of the Kindled

Amakin is able to mark people. This mark is painful to be applied, but will stay for a livetime. It will make Amakin able to communicate telepathically with a person.

Personality:

Amakin is a person that looks more than just intimidating, as he almost always wears his armor. He sleeps in it. He eats in it. There are almost no occasions where he takes it off. (he does take it off to clean himself though.) This creepy aura is even supported through the fact that he is mute, all he gives are some throaty groans or sighs or grumbles. But all of those facts are very misleading. Even though he is a very serious person, he is kind and caring. He is dedicated to lead his kingdom the best he can. He is in no way egotistic, he will always put the good of his people and the ones he cares about above his own. He still remains rational, when making choices as a king. But as a person and friend, he can get a little overprotective. He has however a strong temper. He has a rage burried inside him. A rage that he has sworn to keep down and unleash never again.

History:

Amakin was born the second of his name, as his father was the first Amakin to rule Ragnavar. He was raised with care and manners, making him grow a nice, caring man. His childhood was going without many points that would be to be mentioned. But when he turned 16, he met a girl that he immediatly fell in love with. And she returned the feeling. It was like the most clichee love story, as she was a servant and he was a prince. His parents however, had nothing against the relationship, even allowed them to marry when tehy would turn 18. But it was not to happen.

Under Amakin the first, there was a large group that was not supporting the government. They wanted to bring down the king and make their leader be the king. To set them under pressure, they kidnapped the beloved of the prince. Her name was Maria. Maria was a kind heart, just as Amakin. And the young prince could not stand the fact he could lose her. He, secretly, ventured out to rescue her. He was powerful and confident, maybe overconfident. And he found the hideout.

When he fought his way, he made it to the leader. He let his fury and fear to lose her take over and he made the place living hell. Too late had he noticed, that she was hidden in just the same room. His burning fire hit her as well. When the man was dead, he found her injured body, at the brink of death. She forgave him and told him she loved him, just before she died. It was that day, that Amakin cursed his rage and swore to never let it take over again.

From that day, he practiced the ability to heal with his fire and to make it hurt only if he wanted to. He tested his spells on his own body, not wanting to hurt people again. It scarred him, the most noticable one on his face. His whole body was full of burn marks and he even lost the ability to speak through his experiments. With the help of his best blacksmithes, he created his armor, an armor only he could wear. He further developed a spell to be able to communicate and now always keeps his champion around him as his interpreter.

Job: Ruler of the Fire Kingdom

Alignment: Neutral Good

Appearance:

Amakin is of slightly above average height, being a tower of 3 meters. His whole body is covered in burn marks, which is why he keeps it hidden underneath his armor.

This armor has the ability to use the kings inner fire and make it become part of it. The armor itself is strengthened with the fire and further grants full fire resistance.

Sword of the Firelord

The sword, which can be seen in the picture with the armor, inherits just the power, that the armor does. It will set everything ablaze that i touches.

Medallion of Maria

A small golden medallion that has a picture of his lost beloved in it.

Name: Lucilla Vincetia

Age: 678

Gender: Female

Species/Race: Vampire

Kingdom of Origin: Quanni

Powers:
The Haunt
When having direct visual contact with a person, Lucilla can select them to be haunted by her. Haunted targets will have a constant feeling of being chased by something they cannot see. As long as that person stays within a range of 1km of Lucilla, they remain haunted. Only one person can be haunted at a time.

Foniasophobia
Directly looking at a haunted target will charge up Foniasophobia. This has three phases, that have different effects and unlock different abilities.

Phase 1: Stalker
Directly looking at a haunted target for a minute, she will be able to see them as red shade, no matter where in the range of The Haunt they are. She can see them through any structure.

Phase 2: Shade
After 10 minutes of visual contact, Lucilla will become completely invisible for her haunted target, her steps and noises being inaudible for that person. Those effects however only affect the haunted target. If coming closer to the target than 2 meters, Lucilla is visible again, but only as long as she remains that close. Further, the haunted target will hear her hum The Haunt´s lullaby no matter where in the range of The Haunt they are.

Phase 3: Haunter
After directly seeing the haunted target for 30 minutes, the haunted target will randomly see red faces flash up before them, that only they appear to see. Looking into their eyes will cause the target to feel sick and loose orientation.
4debfa53-ee29-4570-ba3f-1a2e630793e6.jpg
Further, Lucilla gains the ability to teleport immediatly behind the target from anywhere within The Haunt's range. This will of cause reveal her.

The Haunt's Lullaby
Lucilla remembers a song, she swears it has always been sung to her when she was a kid. Bellatrix however never did so.

This song, when hummed by her, will be heard by anybody in a range of hundred meters, no matter what structures lie between them and Lucilla. First, the song starts on little volume for everyone. It fills people with uneasiness and discomfort. The longer one hears it, the louder it gets and the stronger the feelings get, developing to straight fear after a few minutes and growing to be paranoia after 15 minutes. When having reached the paranoia state, the song is the only thing the person can hear and the range grows wider, covering 500 meters. Further, Lucilla can see everybody that has reached the fear state as yellow and everybody that has reached the paranoia state as purple shades through all structures. Remaining in the paranoia state for too long can lead to severe mental damage.

Poltergeist
When having direct visual contact to a haunted target, Lucilla is able to make them imagine things like footsteps following them or a shadow behind them. Even things like the feeling of a hand touching their shoulder.

Personality: While Lucilla can sometimes be a true angel, being kind and humerous, always trying to keep people´s moods at the top, the princess can be quite the opposite as well. Often has she shown a certain pleasure in breaking the mind of poor victims, that happened to be as unlucky as to simply cross her in the wrong moment. Often they did not even know she was around... While her sadistic tendencies make her take pleasure out of psychological violence against her victims, she despises the physical part. Lucilla hate´s to see blood and therefore is very happy to have a replacement to drinking the substances she dislikes so much.

Konachan.com%20-%20245529%20sample.jpg

Equipment:
Haunters Edge
This sword has multiple special functions, besides being a strong forged dark edge. Instead of a crossguard, it has two knifes attached to it´s side. Over a trigger on the hilt, these can be launched off the sword. These knives fly straight, unless they are launched on a haunted target, which they will chase until hitting any solid surface such as their target or a wall.

Further, the sword has a mechanism build into it. Once activated at the hilt, the sword will flip backwards, while the hilt extends. Like that, a spear is quickly created, that has the two knives at the tips sides, forming a cross.

Name
Arkos 'The Wight King' Kallrax

Age
3,459

Gender
Male

Species/Race
Wight

Kingdom of Origin
Quanni

Powers

Wight

Being a creature of the undeath, Arkos has certain advantages that the living do not, but also limitations. Arkos does not need sustenance of any kind, he does not need to sleep, nor does he. His body will never tire and he can swing his sword, conceivably, until the very world ended without feeling any sort of strain. As a Wight, Arkos is just as fast and strong as he was when he was alive as well as having all his old skills, however, he is far more durable as he no longer has major organs or even flesh to worry about. His arms can be removed, he can be bisected, and he can still go on as if nothing happened (although walking becomes more interesting), and he can be 'stuck together' again by any necromancer or other dark magic user.

However, he is not immortal. Removing his head will break his connection with Bellatrix and so 'kill' him. However, if his parts are brought back to her, or another necromancer, he can be brought back to 'life'. In order to truly 'destroy' him, Bellatrix must die or, in turn, she must release his bond. Although, of course, if someone were to remove his head then take it, he would be effectively 'dead'. As a creature of undeath, bound to Bellatrix, he is at her whim. He cannot disobey her command or will or do anything that will directly bring her to harm. However, she only has command of his 'physical' body, not his mind, as such, she cannot truly compel him to tell her the truth or make him feel certain ways. Due to their link, she can speak to him telepathically from any distance, assuming, no warding is interfering with the link. If she so desires she can enter his mind to see or hear what he is and, if she wishes, she can take control of his body at any moment making him dance as a puppet to her will.

As an ancient Wight, the first of his kind, Arkos is an immensely powerful undead being, one of the strongest second only to a lich. As such, Arkos has an ability known only as the Death Howl. Letting out an unholy roar, Arkos terrifies everyone in the vicinity. So potent and powerful is this howl, that those weak of will or valor will die on the spot, their faces contorted in horror as their hearts give out. The closer someone is to him, the stronger the effect. Magical resistance/warding does work against the Death Howl and it can be endured just fine by 'heroic' people with great valor or bravery. ( so.. you know.. PCs)

Shadow Aegis

During the civil war, Arkos, along with his friend and king, Dimitri developed techniques to fight against magic and deny its power and they called it the Shadow Aegis. While it is far from perfect, it does allow for non-magical beings to stand a chance against mighty wizards and sorcerers. It can deflect or even outright block magical attacks, however, it has limits. Should the wizard/sorcerer be too powerful or the spell, itself, be too great, there is nothing they can do about it. One cannot stop an ocean with a pebble.

Essence Drain

An ability unique to him that no other Wight has. If Arkos wanted to, he can drain the 'life' out of another being. This process is slow and incredibly lengthy, so the other person would need to be held down or otherwise infirm. If he uses this, he will regain some of his.. well, fleshy bits and look more as he did when among the living. However, he has only done this once and swore to never do it again as.... it is a revolting process and Arkos takes in everything, their pain, their fears, their hopes... their memories, and it is a limited treatment as he will simply decay again as time rolls on so serves no purpose besides to feed a vanity he no longer has.

Personality

Honorable || Melancholic || Proud || Eloquent || Aloof

Arkos is an extremely honorable warrior, a being who lives by a strong moral and martial code. This code can be a weakness if someone exploits it, but it is one of the few things about himself that he likes and tried to maintain over the centuries. This shows predominately on the field of battle where he will always answer challenges and do his best to ensure the fight is 'fair' such as if his foe is fighting dismounted, or is unhorses, then Arkos too will dismount to fight on even footing. He will almost never lie and will do everything humanly possible to keep any oaths he swears. This makes him incredibly stalwart, a bulwark, almost, against the rest of the world for those who are smart enough, or cunning enough, to use him as a shield. Being an honorable 'man', Arkos hates underhanded tactics such as assassinations and while he will do it if compelled, he makes no effort to hide his protest against it and very much believes in the ideal of personal honor despite his own life experiences. Any who easily toss aside personal honor are beings Arkos view as little more then insects skirting around in the dark waiting to be crushed under heel.

One doesn't get to his age and not suffer from melancholy.. Arkos often drifts off in his mind, reliving moments in his past, the good and the bad, but especially upon sins of the past. It is often that he comes across situations that are near replicas of something else that happened during his long existence and his mind will struggle with recalling the details, and so, create a 'Deja Vu' effect. This...quirk often makes him seem aloof, which he is, or distant as his mind travels through time to walk upon familiar, and forgotten, paths of a wretched existence. But it would be foolish to point out when this happens as Arkos is immensely proud. Despite being little more then Bellatrix's pet attack dog, his warrior pride remains. He does not forget nor forgive slights to himself, well, unless they come from Bellatrix as his own actions earned him those, and angering a nigh-immortal Wight is never a good idea. This pride is also the source for a lot of Arkos' anguish as he knows, better then anyone, what a monster he is and has become as well as the damage he has done to Bellatrix and the kingdom. He hates himself more then anyone could possible do so for his failures as he holds himself to a higher standard then others, expecting more from himself. This same pride that pushes him to be better, is also what keeps him alone even after all this time. He refuses to ask for help, refuses to fall on his knees and beg Bellatrix to let him die, especially as he has not earned the right, and he refuses to show just how badly he is falling apart inside, how hollow he is and how little of 'Arkos' is left within the shell. Arkos is the kind of 'man' that will crawl, hands and knees, through miles of broken glass then ever ask anyone for help or show how deeply that glass was cutting.

While Arkos may look like a monster of the undeath, which he is, he is still noble born. As such, Arkos is incredibly eloquent and polite, the perfect picture of etiquette. It tends to come to a great surprise to those that meet him as the large skeletal warrior greets them, bows or, if they are ladies, takes their hands and places a bone dry kiss upon their wrist, well, those that allow him close enough to do so. This.... well, eloquence and his honor are almost a mockery of a great knight, as he once was, but even if he is nothing more then the skeletal shadow of what he once was, he cannot let such small things go because, in truth, they make him feel almost... human.
When you take him all together, his appearance, his attitude, his pride... well, one can imagine the Wight King is incredibly aloof. He prefers to keep a distance between himself and others, an emotional and physical barrier. He prefers it. The solitude, the isolation, the self-inflicted banishment. He may not 'like' it, but he firmly believes it is all he deserves as... with what he is now... there is nothing else. Merely continued forced existence until the day.. the day he will be granted release from his wretched existence, but despite this is, Arkos was, and still is, a kind soul at the center of his being. If he sees someone in pain or in need of assistance, he will lend them what aid he can.. although often in a small way or through others so no one will know that it was, in fact, he who showed that mercy or kindness.

History
The Kindle of Love

Arkos was the second son, and third child, of Dorant and Zarra Killrax, and as such, was not in line for inheritance. He was a spare, something to have around only should something foul befall his older brother. His life consisted of 'Just In Case'. His training, his education, his care... all 'Just In Case'. This treatment, this keeping him in the background encase they needed the spare continued until his fourteenth birthday when the king decided he could make use of their service. The Killrax family had long served the crown as faithful lords, knights and, at times, advisers, but the king did not want any of those, he wanted a boy to stand with his son and heir, Dimitri. Someone to grow and fight alongside him, to create a bond that would help Dimitri grow as a boy and into a man without merely being a spoiled royal heir. A friend to keep him grounded, a brother in arms to be the sibling they never had.

Faced with the king's desire, the Dorant Killrax had no choice but to oblige, but this is what the spare was for, the second son. Arkos had his things packed within a fortnight and was all but tossed out of his family home with nothing more then an 'obey the King and Queen, befriend the prince... Do not fail the family,' and sent on his way. When Arkos arrived at the palace, he was... lost. It was so large, and there was so much attention being thrown at him, something he had never experienced before. But it all settled down when he met the Crown Prince, when he met Dimitri. They clicked instantly and on a deep level, they bonded over their mutual hatred of onions and tomatoes. While Arkos was a few years older, it was Dimitri who was the leader. Even as a young boy, Dimitri was a born leader, Arkos his faithful supporter and brother.

They played together, they fought together, they learned together... in many ways, Dimitri was Arkos' real brother and they would often lay awake, late at night, Dimitri having crept into his room to talk about the future. What they would do when Dimitri became king. All the things they would change, Arkos would be his adviser, his commander... they would rule the kingdom together, brothers not by blood but something stronger, love. It was one of the happiest times of his life... and then she came, Bellatrix.

Hope Shattered, Innocent Broken
Bellatrix was... not what anyone would expect of the 'greatest' mage of the magi. Arkos can still remember how he felt, standing there feeling like an overdressed turkey as he awaited the arrival of this new 'Court Mage' along with Dimitri who was already working his vampiric charm on some nobleman's daughter or another. When she arrived, Arkos didn't quite know what to think. With her long, luscious violet hair, her obsidian dress that fit her curves a little too well to make any man stand comfortably and the way the moonlight struck her as she made her way up the stairs.. it took his breath away... for a moment and then he gathered his wits, shook it off and moved on with the rest of his night... away from the odd enchantress who would likely be swallowed up and spit back out by the corrupt court politics that ran rampant through their nation, and he very much doubted he would see much of her... He would never be so wrong again in the rest of his very, very long life.

It was an.. odd sensation. Arkos kept bumping into the witch, in the halls, in the courtyard and gardens. At first, he thought she was doing it on purpose, attempting to garner his attention to earn the favor of Dimitri, it would not have been the first woman that had tried... although, to his shame, the first of those cutthroats had succeeded, but he never felt any malice intent coming from the young, sometimes air-headed, mage. While he was never hostile to the mage, he was never overly friendly.. at least, until that night. It was a chilly night, common in their realm, but Arkos could not sleep and so decided to wander, and to this day, he does not know why he went to the library. It was not a place he made a habit of going to even in daylight, but something, some force, compelled him there, and much to his amusement, he saw the great and 'mighty' court mage... leaned over a table, her face planted in a dusty tome as drool slipped out the corner of her mouth and a rather loud, and very unladylike, snore crept out. Bellatrix was the most adorable sight he had ever seen and without truly thinking of his actions, he removed his cloak and draped it around the shoulders of the young court mage and paused only once to gently caress her violet locks, an action he had always wanted to do since he first laid eyes upon her.

It seems his action was the catalyst of change as the next morning he found his cloak hanging from his door, and it was slow, at first, the greetings as they passed which progressed to small talk about their day and what they were doing... to eating together, and, in time, his best friend Dimitri joined them. For a time, for a beautiful, brief time, the three of them formed a solid core, a foundation for greatness that could have changed the face of the kingdom if things had.. been differently. They even spoke of them, and Arkos can recall one time with perfect clarity, they were in a meadow, on a picnic and it had taken some effort to escape the guards... And Bellatrix looked so beautiful in her softer hues and warm tones of her dress. It was slow, and if Arkos had been smarter and had more experience with his heart, he would have known he was already starting to love this mage, but he was not quite ready for that realization. The three of them, the warrior, the prince and the mage, talked about the future. About improving the status of mages and improving their relations so they would no longer be so mistrusted and reviled... Arkos spoke of being his best friends champion and commander, seeing his will done throughout the world and protecting him from this moment until his last.. and Dimitri, the vampire prince, shared his dreams of a unified nation brought into a new, golden era... Fantasies of children, it would seem as none of it was ever to come to be. Months later, the three were torn apart as Dimitri's father, the king, was slain by foul sorcery... a statement to the current treatment of mages, and in it, the future of the world was forever altered. Dimitri, mad with grief, came down upon mages with an ironfist, Bellatrix, a mage herself, resisted the changes and regulations... Arkos did his best to maintain the bonds between them as the world crumbled around them, but the more Dimitri closed his fist, the harder the mages resisted until open rebellion broke out between the magic supporters led by Bellatrix and the crown loyalist led by Dimitri... and Arkos could only watch his world burn as he dreamed of better days.

Mount
Arkos' personal mount is a mighty Manticore that he has raised and trained. He breeds the 'lineage' of them as he does, eventually, outlive his mounts. His current Manticore is called 'Dro'Khan' and is an immense beast that is often mistake for a dragon by its massive shadow. Like most Manticores, it has reptilian wings, a scorpion tail and a massive lion body. As one would expect, the poison of a Manticore is one of the most potent poisons in the world able to bring down a mammoth in moments. Highly trained, Dro'Khan responds to mental commands given from Arkos Helm of the Damned allowing them unparalleled teamwork.

When riding into battle, Dro'Khan is covered in battle armor, metal plates for his legs and a thick chainmail 'blanket' for his back as well as a large face mask and metal 'jaw'.

The Mighty Dro'Khan

Equipment
Helm of the Damned

A potent dark helm that was enchanted by the Lich Queen, it allows him to mentally direct the Dark Kingdom forces especially the other undead many of which cannot speak and would only obey commands of a Necromancer. This helm also keeps the undead forces together and stops them from crumbling.

Obsidian Plate
The dark plate armor of the Wight King is inscribed heavily with runes that support and empower his Shadow Aegis techniques aiding him in the cancellation and resistance of magic. The armor was forged for him millennium ago and despite time and more battles then he cares to recall, the armor is still sturdy and resistant even if it is covered with the battle scars of a thousand battlefields. A heavy, black iron shield is a part of the Aegis.

Kiss of Decay
The dark blade of Arkos was corrupted when he was. The blade appears rusted and dull, but it is anything but. The unholy blade is wickedly sharp and supernaturally durable able to cleave through mundane metals like butter. But what makes the blade truly horrible is the Kiss of Decay. When the rusted, dark blade strikes flesh, it causes the target to rapidly decay. The longer the contact with the blade, the faster the decay. It has no decaying effect on beings with Eternal Youth.

Along with these magical weaponry and armor, Arkos has a dagger and, when riding into battle, he brings a lance and four throwing spears.

In his quest for death, Arkos has dueled, and slain, hundreds of warriors throughout his long existence. Each and every one was raised to be a wight after their fall and sentenced to serve under Arkos, the price of their failure. This special unit of fallen heroes serves as Arkos' personal unit and follow him into battle or, in times of 'peace', serve as protectors of Bellatrix. This unit is known as the Lords of the Barrow. often referred to as simply the Barrow Lords. .

Their current number stands at four hundred and thirty-seven, upon their great banner, the standard of the Barrow Lords reads the words, "Serve Her In Life. Or Slave For Her In Death."

Name: Alexander "Fireheart" Ortega

Age: 29

Gender: Male

Species/Race: Human/Dragon hybrid

Orientation: Straight

Appearance:

622800c8449c62e1dc2a3bee089cff5d--character-portraits-character-ideas.jpg

Kingdom of Origin: Ragnavar

Powers:

Fire magic- Earning him his nickname "Fireheart," Alexander knows a wide variety of magic and can employ it in whatever fashion he desires. He can hurl fireballs at enemies, and breathe fire via cupping his hands near his mouth.

Draconic Alteration- Alexander can morph portions of his body into their draconic counterpart that is equivalent to his size. He mostly uses this to transform his hands into draconic claws, and grow leathery wings on his back. His claws, when activated, can cut through the vast majority of metals with little to no effort for there are only a few metals that can withstand his strikes better than others. The Magnum Opus of this technique is to transform himself fully into a humanoid winged dragon in which his other powers are heightened. This however depletes his stamina at a very fast consumption rate than normal so he cannot stay in this form for too long.

Enhanced Perception- Can see and comprehend objects/destinations/people/etc, at a longer distance due to his draconic senses.

Arcane Observation- Alexander developed this skill during his studies and as a result, can help him comprehend magical languages, artifacts, skills, and other items with much ease.

Personality: Calm and collected, Open minded, Stubborn, always up for a good time, and enjoys teaching to, and learning knowledge from, others.

History: Alexander grew up with his mother Gabriella as his then unknown father was nowhere in sight. Even at a young age, Alexander was kind hearted and would not willingly commit evil acts even as a joke. He had his mother to thank for his honed moral compass. At the age of 10, he was enrolled in the magical academy at Rahishima and his magical potential was almost immediately noticed by the teachers who foresaw great things for him in the future. However, at the age of 15 was when his draconic blood manifested itself truly during a teaching lesson. It was during a routine exercise when Alexander, who had then shown great promise as a fire battlemage, uncovered this secret. He cast a normal fire spell when all of a sudden, his right arm transmogrified into the dragonesque counterpart. A good deal of the students became curious by this development despite Alexander's good nature and thought he was a demon due to the striking similarity of the arm's to a demon's. So, after having him examined by the higher wizards, it was determined that the transformation was not demonic in nature, but rather draconic. It all became clear after that, his natural affinity and relative ease of a grasp of fire magic, and his aura was uncovered. After this incident, the nickname, "Fireheart," stuck with him all through his school years. Students began to come to him, younger, and within the same year to ask for his help with fire magic, leading to his love of teaching and learning. After he left the academy at 23, he went back to visit his mother and ask her about the draconic side of the family. Gabriella did confirm that his father's side had been descended from a dragon, but wouldn't tell him the name of his father. It was at this time, the princess desired to travel from what he heard, so he decided that he would as well, but learning to control his own powers and obtain a better grasp of them in the process. It was at the age of 27 that after 5 or so years of travel and study, between the kingdom of Ragnavar, minus the royal island, and other cities, he uncovered another advancement. He realized that with his ease of ability to transform individual parts of his body into draconic form, his entire body must have a form as well. Alexander then learned the current height of his Draconic Alteration skill, as well as unlocking the power of his blood to almost stop his aging. Currently, he is within Dervanir of the Dark Kingdom wrapping up his travels before finally heading home and seeing his mother again.

Job: Sorceror/Wanderer/Scholar, wants to do something more with his life, something good.

Alignment: Neutral Good

Equipment: Alexander carries a steel dagger with him just in case, however most of his powers come from his magic.

Galandor Thurion

Age:
2983

Gender:
Male

Race:
Gaean

Kingdom of Origin:
Adaman

Powers:
Earth Attunement - Galandor and his brothers and sisters are magically connected to Ioria through their Cores. They have natural earth magic, and are master in anything related to earth. Each of the Gaeans has an unique ability, in which they not share it with others. They are weaker in the air, and whiter into a deep slumber if not in contact with the earth for too long

Shape Earth - Drawing from the earth, the Gaean are capable of drawing forms and shapes from earth. They can make walls and buildings in mere hours

Kairun: The Gaean are capable of strengthening any metal with Kairun, a special technique involving advanced forging technique and strong earth magic, drawing from their own cores. Kairun-forged weapons and equipment are permanent, but they can also temporarily strengthen already treated metals with Kairun.

Wurmspell: This spell-like ability combines both earth magic and superior physical prowess, allowing the Gaeans to travel solid earth with extreme ease, and make tunnels extremely fast.

Aegis of Ioria - Galandor's own exclusive ability, he's able to turn himself into an almost invulnerable fortress. Growing twice is size, his skin turns into solid steel, virtually impassable. However, he becomes extremely slower, walking in a snail's pace.

Rumble Step(Aegis-exclusive ability) - A passive ability of the Aegis of Ioria, each step that Galandor makes causes a minor earthquake in the area, affecting all enemies around him.

Cage of Torment(Aegis-exclusive ability) - A cage made of sharp metal edges surround a single enemy, immobilizing and wounding it in the process.

Personality:
From a visitor's perspective, Galandor doesn't look like a ruler. Most of the time, he's seen dealing with people directly on the streets of the capital, or working with the blacksmiths in the forges. He only dons the title of Emperor while on official business, or when a conflict can't be solved in a normal way. Since his Awakening, he works with the people to make sure they thrive under his command.
Personally, Galandor is a kind and hardworking individual. He and his brothers and sisters don't always share the same ideas and opinions, but he makes sure that everyone is heard. Never once he raised his voice to them, mostly because in his viewpoint, they are in equal grounds, and Galandor's position as Emperor are only formalities. Galandor truly cares for his people, and are always happy to help in any way they can. In battle, Galandor cautious and methodical, putting himself in the front, to make sure that the minimal amount of people are unharmed. However, he's not afraid of getting his hands dirty for the sake of his people.

History:

The Creation

Long time ago, in an isolated part of the world, a group of scholars, mages and sorcerers joined to create a place where they could research and create magic, unbound by the rules of men. They isolated themselves from the outside world by a series of intricate shieldings and mind affecting spells, making sure not even the nomads roaming that part of the world could approach the place. They created a massive spire made of pristine marble, and called it the White Tower, and called themselves the Order. They created an utopia for mages, rife with opportunity for development, research and advancement. The mages eventually found their main object of study: Ioria itself. They researched the world and the laws of nature that guided the planet, and how they could shape and bend them to their will. Their ultimate goal: to create life.

Their research took years of careful studying and experimentation, many failures and errors. Some of these failures even cost the lives of some of those mages, but they didn’t care. Progress had to be made. Delving into the underground area of the Tower, to seek closer contact with Ioria, they discovered a series of caves, tunnels and underways, full of stones and metals. This led the Order to focus their studies on these minerals, and the power that was within them. The research proved useful, as they managed to harness the magic residue inside of these minerals, infusing them on proper vessels. Thus, the Cores were created.

Golems

The Cores were special orbs that reacted incredibly easy to earth magic. They were made from the minerals found in the caves, treated and shaped to be more sensitive. They experimented with these cores extensively, first small, then creating larger and larger monsters, dubbed golems. These golems didn’t last long, the magic inside of the Cores quickly dissipated, destroying the bodies of the golems in the process. No matter how large or small the golems were, the magic inside the cores, that briefly animated the mud, dirt and sand bodies of the beings, once out of their natural place, dispersed violently, returning back to the earth. Progress halted, they didn’t have a clue on how to keep the energy inside of the Core, make the orbs keep the golem’s bodies moving.

The fall of the Tower

Their research becoming fruitless and onerous, they started working with stronger spells and incantations. Some were too taxing on the wizards’ bodies and minds, some even dying in the process. They decided to take one last gamble on this endeavour, and poured all of their mind and work on the last attempt. They created 5 golems, three men and two women, made from steel, marble and crystals, resembling as much as humans as they possibly could to be the “perfect” vessels for the Cores. Then, the work on the Cores began. They focused their entire magic power on these 5 cores, making sure that it would be perfect, and that it would hold the earth magic gathered underground, carefully sealing the imperfections and making them a suitable receptacle for the earth energy. Months of work were poured in both the vessels and the cores, developing both of them to create what the Order called “perfect artificial life”. The binding ritual began, and the collective power of the mages made it possible for the ritual to be fruitful. They successfully bound the cores to the vessels, but the energy spent to make the ritual ended up making the Cores backlash, expanding energy outwards while simultaneously protecting themselves and the vessels. The Order tried to contain it, but the energy kept expanding, eventually breaking off the resistance of the mages, destroying the White Tower and killing the mages known as the order. The vessels were cast underground by the explosion, where they were buried and forgotten, without even opening their eyes.

Rise of the Gaeans

For two thousand years, the vessels stood underground, a seemingly eternal slumber. However, the Cores were absorbing the energy of the earth itself, making themselves and the vessels strong. It wasn’t a coincidence that they were found by Earth Elementals, beings tied to the earth like the Cores were. The Elementals, firstly hidden from the Order, fearing their power and what would happen if they found them, were drawn by the Cores’ energy. They channelled their life power to the vessels, and finally, they woke up. Like babies, they had to be taught how to speak and walk, but as the life power of the earth coursed through them, they developed. They were dubbed Gaeans from the Elementals, and as they developed more, they were curious about the surface world. The Elementals, protective and kind in their nature, warned them about the surface world, and the reason they came to be. Even so they didn’t falter in their wishes, and soon they were making their way to the surface.

The first thing they saw when going up were ruins. The Tower that the elementals told them were in ruins, overgrown and home to some animals. The elementals said that the strong magic that the Order made to hide the place made the nomads who roamed the lands avoid the ruins, but during the two thousand years that they slept, the magic faded. The Gaeans, claiming the tower to themselves, decided that it would be a perfect place to live. Soon enough, they began rebuilding. With the spells from the Order gone, the nomads finally took notice of the ruins of the Tower, and now, the beings living with them. Some of them were more than happy to trade and know them, but some tribes saw the new residents as an outrage, since they were invading their “sacred lands”.

Strife

The Gaeans weren’t accustomed to the notion of war, but their bodies, strengthened by the power of the earth, were primed to defend themselves. Galandor could grow twice his size and encase himself in solid metal, making him virtually invulnerable. Dhrom had the power of sand, capable of creating gigantic sandstorms and shape sand at will. Ashae had the power of the plants, sprouting vines and growing magnificent trees. Thymae could create simple beings of mud, which she called golems. They weren’t sapient like the Gaeans, as they lacked the life force that coursed through them, but they were intelligent, strong and durable. Riall had the control over earth magic, and could harness the primordial power of the earth as pure energy. They tried a peaceful solution, but the territorial minds of the chieftains didn’t accept them and soon, a battle broke out.

The nomads were strong, as too they had their shamans and druids, humans who could commune with the land around them, but none had the power of the Gaeans. Galandor led the Gaeans, making sure to protect his brothers and sisters, but at the same time, making sure to cause as minimal death as possible. The battle trudged along for 2 months, when the chieftains were brought to their knees, surrendering before the might of the Gaeans. Even then, they showed compassion. The Gaeans united the nomads under a same flag, and with their help, built a small village named Dorean, meaning Peace, in the tribal language. Galandor and the Gaeans took the surname Thurion, the clan name of the Nomads that banded together.

The birth of Adaman

The village expanded, the rest of the nomads eventually joining the settlement. The Gaeans were hailed as rulers to that land, and soon, Dorean thrived. It grew both in population and in wealth, and soon, it was akin to a city. The Gaeans then started building the tower again, with the help of the villagers. They taught what they could of earth magic, and the most gifted became earth mages, perfecting their gifts in the tower. Ten years later, the Silver Tower was finished, a grandiose structure. Their power expanding, soon other cities were formed around Dorean, and soon, a great demesne was claimed by the Gaeans. Word of help from far settlements moved the Gaeans into action, who protected the land from evil. With that, their domain grew more and more, finally being made an Empire. The Gaeans then decided that Galandor was to be made Emperor, both for his leadership and his will in protecting them and the people. He accepted it reluctantly, since he didn’t see himself as a ruler, but he was happy to be put in a place where he could serve as much as he can to everyone. Their strong ties to the earth was turned to the metals found in the Underground. With care as to make sure that the Elementals weren’t harmed or driven out, they learned how to mine and shape the iron, developing ways of blacksmithing and refining the minerals. Adaman started to become a place where one could learn and improve the art of the metal. The Gaeans were happy to help, and working with the mages and blacksmiths, developed Adamantite, a extremely durable alloy, among with other things, but there was something they couldn’t teach: A technique called Kairun. Kairun drew power from the Gaeans’ Cores, making the metal unnaturally strong, a great conduit of earth magic. Their final project was to build a massive wall surrounding Dorean, made completely of Kairun Adamantite. This caught the attention of nearby kingdoms, and Galandor worked hard to have friendly connections with them, opening trade routes and diplomatic talks. They dubbed Adaman The Aegis of Ioria, due to their strong ties with the earth, and their incredible buildings of metal.

Alignment:
Chaotic Good

Equipment:
Kairun Blade: A sword made by himself, infused with the power of Kairun. It can channel the force of earth.
Shield of Adaman - A shield made with the crest of Adaman. Combined with the Aegis of Ioria, it turns into a massive wall.

Forge-Born Armor - An armor made of Adamantite and Kairun, it's extremely resistant and are perpetually strengthened by the Gaean's Cores.

Earth Core - Gaeans don't have a heart, rather, they have Cores attuned to the earth. The only way to kill a Gaean is to completely destroy its Core.

Mathias Colandis

Age: 19

Gender: Male

Species/Race: Mythian (See kingdom sheet for details)

Kingdom of Origin: Order of Mythia

Powers:

Magic Resistance

As a Mythian, Mathias has an inherent resistance to all forms of magic. This resistance is great, but by no means immunity. Lesser known strains of magic can bypass a lot of the natural protection a Mythian suffers.

Superhuman physique

Thanks to a lifetime of physical training for combat and warfare coupled with a lifetime of living in a magical nexus, Mathias sports incredible physical prowess like the rest of his kind. At top speed a well trained Mythian could keep up with a stampeding horse and with effort and careful strikes bring down a building. Mathias by his species standards is very average in these regards.

Arbiter's Avatar

As the Divine Arbiter, ruler of the Order; Mathias is the reincarnation of the hundreds of rulers who have lived before him. Mathias can access this vast wealth of knowledge in periods of calm and meditation. Tens of thousands of years of knowledge and experience allows the young ruler to be a brilliant ruler and strategist, but in the heat of combat or in sudden moments of need accessing this comes at significant strain. It is an act of high risk high reward, as while he may suddenly find access to battle strategy long forgotten or fighting styles the likes of which is believed extinct, the mental tax may be too high to pay. Doing this has been the death of many Arbiters before him. Ironically in this state; a fact Mathias is well aware of.

Personality:

Barely a man, a young adult at best; Mathias defies the expectations one might have of a young ruler in his position. He exudes a calm and confident attitude to all matters of somewhat quiet many times. However he shares his species' tendency to be blunt and to the point. While he does do his best to adopt some manner of deception and cunning to his talks with foreign figures of power so to seem less alien to them, his cultural habits tend to shine through.

His personality can be quite unnerving given his youthful vigor. When one might expect a man of his age to laugh or be nervous, he will simply smile or give nothing away. After all, he is Mythian. They are not known for their social aptitude. He accepts the burdens of leadership well, and unlike many arbiters before him his priority lies with the safety of his people rather than the achievement of their Order's mission. All Mythians are willing to die for their goddess, but Mathias will not let his people die for trivial matters.

History:

For thousands of years, the Order of Mythia has exerted it's influence across the kingdoms from the island of solace. The forces of the order can be seen in every conflict of note, their allignment ever in flux. To some their peacekeeping brings hope, to others anger. But the actions and inaction of the Order and it's people is down to the will of the goddess of order herself, and her chosen representative in the world of Ioria. This is the Divine Arbiter. They alone interpret the will of their goddess and they alone carry out her commands. The Arbiter has passed through many lifetimes and many individuals, each with their own knowledge to add to the arbiter's experience and each with their own unique lives lead. But all have served the ideals of order, justice and peace in the world. But with dark times looming ominously on the near horizon, there is a new Arbiter.

His name is Mathias Colandis, born on the fateful night that the Divine Arbiter perished and took a new form within him. The previous Arbiter has lived a long life, and had been much loved by her people. Less so by many of the other kingdoms due to her campaign to expand the network of watchtowers further across the world. Some in the courts of Ioria and shadowy corners even say her death was orchestrated by foreign powers. One way or another, Mathias led the same childhood upbringing as all Divine Arbiters before him.

As soon as he could walk and talk he was taken to the top of the spire to learn to meditate and achieve the state of the Arbiter's avatar. With this state of mind his education developed exponentially and the Order once more fell back under an effective ruler whilst the boy was atop the spire. But in some ways Mathias was not like Arbiters before him. There was a certain curiosity within him that drove him to sometimes question the role the Order serves within the world. The Arbiter's hosts within the avatar would often caution him against these unorthodox strains of thought, and to this day the boy now barely a man struggles with these turmoils.

Mathias has spent the majority of his life on the island of solace ruling over the Order and going through the same upbringing all Mythians partake in. When he reached teenage years after 10 rotations he travelled across the network of watchtowers in secret against the wishes of the arbiter's avatar to learn more of the world. But asides from this abnormality life went on as usual. The Order of Mythia continued to intervene in world conflicts, to both mediate through words and maintain peace through force. The rising threat of cults in the world has sparked the inner curiousity of Mathias who now travels to neutral ground in hopes he will learn more of this new rising threat so that the order can spearhead efforts to rid the world of another abnormality. Another evil to vanquish.

Job: The Divine Arbiter

Appearance:

Just passing the cusp of adulthood, Mathias looks a fitting blend of youth and age. His skin is a pale blue in colour with slate white hair held back in a ponytail. His eyes are pure white, with no irises or pupils to be seen. A darker blue tattoo is placed around the corner of his right eye, depicting rays of sunlight shining out from the white source. Mathias pays little attention to how he looks (not being able to see how he looks after all) and he likely looks too rugged and grimy to be a respectably ruler. He has a light dusting of stubble on his jaw in the place of an actual beard, but its white colour helps it stand out like one.

Mathias typically wears a band of cloth around his eyes so as to be less off-putting to those not of the Mythian race. The rest of his dress is practical travelling gear of dull brown colours.

Equipment:

Despite his position as head of the Order, Mathias is quite humble. He chooses to wear clothes and fit himself with equipment available to any other Mythian peacekeeper or legionnaire. However given the origin of the equipment it is by no means average.

Mathias wears a light weight but durable set of leather armour with chain mail woven in-between the layers of leather. As most Mythians so he prefers the mobility over a potentially more protective platemail or any heavier armour. But thanks to the materials being mined, harvested and forced within the spire and island of solace the armour has inherent magical properties. The armour helps absorb the brunt of magical blasts and spells which serves to further bolster the Mythian's natural resistance.

The same can be said for his weapons, though in reverse. Mathias carries two bastard swords in sheathes on his back that are effective at breaking through magical protections and armour. The natural dexterity of his race allows him to wield one in each hand, but he rarely draws more than one of his swords if forced into combat.

Name: Chouette Sova

Age: 399

Gender: Female

Species/Race: Chouette´s species is not named, due to the fact she is the only one of it that ever existed. Many refer to her as "owlgirl", as she appears to be a mixture of elf and owl.

Kingdom of Origin: Quanni

Powers:
Owl-Girl Due to her race, Chouette is able to fly, using her wing-like features, as well as she has full vision during night and enhanced hearing abilities. She can communicate to owls as well, understanding them and talking to them.

The Parliament An uncounted number of black and grey owls are Chouette´s parliament. Each and every of them listen to her and follow her. Chouette of course know´s every single owl by name. These owls are loyal to Chouette and no mind-controlling ability can break their loyalty to the owl-girl.

Bird´s eye view The owls from Chouette´s parliament are oftenly out on scouting missions. Even though one might not see that, they are an organized network, with shifts, so all places of Dernavir are under constant watch. Further, some owls are on missions outside of Dernavir, but those are never certain to anyone but Chouette and her owls.

The screech Chouette can emit an owls screech, that really sounds terrifying and horrible. Whoever hears it must cover their ears if they dont want to become deaf.

Personality: Chouette is a very mysterious person. She has an eerie aura, that gets even stronger through the fact you never see her face, only sometimes two yellow, glowing eyes. She usually keeps out and watches, only talking if directly adressed or if having something important to say. She seems to have a sense of humor only she understands, chuckling at seemingly random moments. Often, she is found drinking tea, sitting and watching.

History: A lot of Chouette´s history is mystery. It is said that she was created as the blood of a dark elf dripped into an owls egg.

Diana Winry Faira
Queen of Prosfaria

Xssh3ie.jpg

Age:
36[+?]

Gender:
Female

Species/Race:
Witch/Master

Powers:
Master
- From this there are many abilities she has outside of her normal ones, but they only apply to her Linklin (Minos). All Masters gain these abilities when forming a link and they honestly don't really affect anyone but their Linklin.
  • Summoning: She is able to just summon Minos from anywhere, at any time . . . Useful unless your Linklin was in the middle of a bath.
  • Telepathy: Exclusive only to her Linklin. Through their link, they are able to communicate via mind or without the usage of words entirely . . . Well the speaking through sensory sometimes makes things unclear of the full message, just the idea. Kind of like sensing "Help" but not knowing what kind of help is needed.
  • Puppeteering: Once again, only applies to her Linklin. A Master is able to order their Linklin as well as to just control them, and depending on the bond and Master's skill they can even see through their Linklin's eyes (or eye in Minos's case).
  • Additional Buffs and Healing: Only applies to the Linklin, and is typically small things. Maybe a quick boost in speed to help them dart out of the way of something, or a sudden transfer of pain. Depending on the Master, a Linklin and Master can transfer the pain they feel to each other. So if a Master wanted to save themselves from some torture they can use their link to transfer any pain they receive onto the poor Linklin. This also works vice verse if the Master allows it. As for the healing, this only applies to the Linklin and they have to be in arms reach of their Master. If they got hurt in a fight, the Master would have to summon them out of it and begin the healing process that leaves both of them pretty defenseless.
  • Along with additional buffs, some Masters are able to cast their own magic through their Linklins. This is the most unreliable thing to do since the Linklin has zero control over it, and the whole ordeal is just way to much effort. The only thing Diana can really do with this is cast her Winter Storm in a quick burst that circle arounds Minos before expelling outwards as a simple way of just pushing things back just slightly . . . Of course, the downside of this is that Minos does not have the same tolerance to the cold as Diana does with her ability and he often ends up also being chilled. Not the best tactic, so this is rarely used. This does not work vice versa, although Diana has found a loophole. If Minos is using his special vision and she looks through his eyes, he can see what he sees. She doesn't understand most of what Minos sees, so its not something she typically uses.
  • Sacrifice: If a Linklin is within 5 minutes of death of is on the verge of death, a Master is able to take some of their remaining years in their lifespan (the amount of years vary on injury causing death) and convert into life force to revive their Linklin. It won't be an instant recovery of course (especially if it was a devastating injury that killed them), and in order to do a Sacrifice the Master has to be in arms-length of the Linklin.
Ice - One does not come from a snowy region without having any snow based powers . . . Diana is able to spread ice around through touch, and mostly through touch (exception being her blowing out cold gusts of air, but its just cold not freezing). If she grabs your arm, she is going to freeze your arm, its simple as that. If she touches the ground directly, ice will start to form on the ground. Like mentioned before, this can only be done through a direct touch and the downside to this is that while Diana has a higher tolerance to the cold does not mean she can't suffer frost bite like anyone else. It may take longer for her, but after major usage or prolonged use, she'll end up freezing up herself.

Coin Toss: Diana has a set of things she can enhance or alter about herself. Speed boosts, impact, and even her own gravity. To empower this ability even more, Diana used a technique that requires her to tie the magic to a condition in exchange for power. The condition Diana chose was a coin toss that required her to call out the right side, then she doesn't get the buff. Diana is unable to toss for multiple boosts, and has to toss for each different boost separately. The more boosts she uses at the same time, the less efficient they are. Her usual combo is Speed + Impact, but like mentioned before she is unable to toss to get both of them.
Speed Boost: Exactly what it sounds like. When she tosses for a speed buff and it lands on the correct side she called out, then her speed increases. This is able to stack up, and her only limit is really how much she is able to handle since the body can only take so much speed. Especially if you're going from 0 mph to 60 mph in a second, or vice versa. Typically when using this, she starts stacking it little by little instead of getting a major speed boost.
Impact: Diana alone already has shown incredible strength, and all this really does is boost the impact of her strikes. This boost mostly enables her to do powerful attacks without completely injuring herself in the process. This ability does not stack like the speed boost, and if she wants to do a devastating blow she'll have to do two coin toss. One to determine if her strike will have a powerful impact (earth shattering level) and the second one to determine if she will be able to withstand the strike. Since this is incredibly risky, Diana tries to keep her strikes in range at the very edge of how much she can take without the protection of the second coin toss since broken arms take a while to heal from.
Gravity: This one is a little more tricky than the other ones and are usually used in small bursts, either to jump higher, or slow her descent (you can imagine the panic and rapid coin tosses of when she is falling from a dangerous height and trying to use this to save her life). When using this, she is able to set the variables and deactivated from one toss alone. Such as slowly decreasing her gravity, or a small burst of zero gravity then releasing herself. Gravity isn't something one should mess with so often, so this is only used in quick bursts to avoid the dangers of floating up into space.

Personality:
Diana is a bold leader with a decisive nature. Her will is unwavering and is fully aware of her abilities and potential. Staring her reign with a bang, Diana has already started to get stories of her many adventures written which is ironically written in much nobler light than it really is. Unlike most Rulers, Diana is the type to solve things herself. A village is discovered engaging in illegal activities? She goes there herself and punishes the criminals.

She is not one to sit back and watch others act if she knows she is capable of doing it herself (ironic since she uses a Linklin).
Despite her rowdy nature, Diana still retains a respectable side of her that is able to hold the composure of a Queen. She doesn't always jump into situations without a thought, and whether or not this comes from the Winry in her she has proven to be a highly intelligent lady in the art of Magically Infused Science.

Overall, if she isn't in what Minos and her deem as "Queen Mode", she is very enjoyable to be around. Diana is easily amused by things, and will laugh at almost any joke no matter how bad it is. She has a love for playing games with people for the most ridiculous stakes, and is quick to nerd out on things with the slightest connection to Magically Infused Science.

Winry, the prodigy Witch of Prosfaria
Winry had always been magically gifted, and at a young age had shown a high level of proficiency with her magic and magic techniques. Many of the new magic techniques used now were developed by Winry. Due to her exceptional talents, Winry had found her place as a close advisor to Queen Thalia as soon as the queen was nearly crowned. Winry's position was highly respected, but the witch didn't feel satisfied with her life. As she got older, she became increasingly aware that her time would draw near and she still wasn't happy with the life she had lived.
Rather than go out and embrace life while she could like any reasonable person would do, she ended up locking herself into her studies to develop a new Magic Technique . . . Reincarnation. Messing with the forces of life and death proved to be a challenge for the talented witch, but she refused to give up. By the time she had "perfected" the Technique, Queen Thalia had given birth to a heir, Diana Faria.
Winry's plans came to a halt as she watched over the family, not quite ready to leave them behind to go through with her Reincarnation technique. Actually, over the months of helping the Queen nurse her baby seemed to have changed Winry's mindset, and no longer was the idea of reliving her life clouded her mind, she was finally happy with how things were. This all changed when a plague struck Prosfaria, affected nearly half of their population, including Princess Diana. The baby wasn't even a year old yet, and the effects of the plague were killing her at a more rapid pace than with the other infected victims. King Thanos rushed to seek out a cure, while Queen Thalia stayed with Diana and begged for Winry to save their baby. Unable to ignore such a request, Winry set to work, trying to slow the process as much as possible to buy her and other times to find a cure . . .

Within a few days of her work, Princess Diana had died. Devastated with her own failures, Winry pulled out the last card she had left . . . The Reincarnation Technique. In theory, infusing powerful magic into the soul would give the soul strength to live on enough to find a new vessel to be reborn in. With no other choice, the Queen and King agreed to try this out as their last hope of saving their daughter . . .

Thalia waited outside of the door of Winry's workshop with her husband as they held each other close for comfort, praying to the Spirits that they would give Winry their blessings in bringing their baby back. In their chapter of anxious waiting, they didn't realize how quiet things had gotten inside of the workshop until the sound of a crying baby broke the silence. Nothing could hold Thalia back from barging into the room to reunite with her revived child. Upon entering the room, she hadn't seen Winry right away until she got closer to the small bundle of blankets hey baby was in. When she lowered her eyes to pick the baby up, she finally found Winry's lifeless frame on the ground. It had seemed Winry's technique was not a Reincarnation, but a Sacrifice that mirrored a Sacrifice of a Linklin to their Master. Winry was remembered as a hero, and in tribute to her sacrifice, Thalia changed Diana's name to hold Winry's name to honor the witch.

Diana, the gifted Witch of Prosfaria
When Diana had opened her eyes for the first time after death, there had been some slight changes. Her eyes were no longer the crisp blue hue of her father's, and over time her hair had darkened from its original brown. Diana's eyes now matched the eyes of Winry, the Prodigy Witch. They brushed it off as it being traces of Winry's Sacrificial magic, but deep down in Thalia's heart she knew something had changed about her child . . . If it was really her child anymore. To everyone it appeared that Winry had given up her life to bring back Diana, but in reality Winry had fused what was left of Diana's soul with hers. It wasn't completely Winry, and it wasn't completely Diana. Diana was brought back to life, and Winry still lived on in a new form. Whether or not this fusion completely changed how Diana would have been is still a mystery, but Diana is still notably different from Winry and the only visible trace of Winry lies with Diana's high level of magical excellence and her knowledge.
For a few years, after Diana had been given new life, the plague was still an issue with Prosfaria. The best of the best had gathered together, desperately trying to find the cure to the disease that was wiping the people of Prosfaria out. For three solid years, Prosfaria had mostly sealed themselves from the outside world to prevent the disease from spreading. Meanwhile in the castle that was currently in a mix of a lockdown combined with chaos in the labs, Diana had started to show unusual signs of proficiency. When she was only four years old, the princess had somehow managed to get into Winry's locked workspace and when she was found by a servant, the servant not only alerted her parents, they alerted the Scientists. On the outside, it appeared that Diana was innocently scribbling on some papers that had been knocked onto the floor . . . These scribbles weren't just regular scribbles, they symbols. Formulas. Techniques. As if guided by some unknown force, the baby princess had somehow managed to pick up on the Prodigy Witch's work and create a cure for the plague.

As Diana continued to grow, her talents blossomed at an alarming rate. Unfortunately, Queen Thalia never lived to see her daughter reacher her full potential, and had passed away just before Diana's sixteenth birthday. After a year of mourning, King Thanos finally stepped up to the challenge of running the kingdom alone and raising his daughter to be a fitting ruler. Thanos seemed to have trained Diana more physically than prep her as a heir (thank goodness they had advisors and scholars for that), feeding into his daughter's wild spirit. Since Thanos's attention was unevenly split, many things in the kingdom seemed to get out of control. There were more fake "Divine Rulers" with false temples of worship going unnoticed, and the slave issue increased.
By the time King Thanos was no longer capable of ruling the kingdom and retired the throne to Diana, the princess turned queen had made it her duty to clean the place up. She was more attentive than her father, but more commanding than her gentle mother. Under her rule, Diana had turned her welcoming trip (where she travels around the kingdom to make her ascent to the throne more official) into a hunt for these "Divine Rulers" and exterminate them to solidify her rule over Prosfaira. During this mission of hers, she had encountered a Divine Ruler named Minos. Something about Minos had separated him from the other Divine Rulers she had encountered . . . For starters, he fit the role better than anyone, and if she didn't know any better she might have actually believed he really was chosen by the Spirits. Whether it was this interest of power or because of the cryptic message Minos had said to her when they faced each other, Diana had decided to "spare" Minos.
If you can consider enslaving Minos for his entire lifetime multiplied by her lifespan sparing him at least. Diana never got an answer to what Minos had meant when he said those words to her, and ended up forgetting it what they were exactly. Not that it really mattered now. She was a Master, and the former Divine Ruler with the All Seeing Eye was her linkling. A fitting servant for a queen such as herself you might say.

Equipment:

Although she doesn't carry one on her, she is very proficient with a rapier. She gave hers to Minos, but she honestly just takes it from him to use whenever she needs it. In a way, Minos kind of just carries it so she doesn't have to.

Gloves - Crafted from wolf hide (the wolves here have very strong hides), and infused with magic, these gloves are lot thicker than they appear and protect her hands from when she goes melee. They open up mid-way up on the fingers to allow her to be able to use her ice ability without having to remove her gloves, but still enough coverage to protect her hands when punching.

Shin Guards and Specially coated shoes - Punching isn't the only thing Diana does. Due to her fighting style that not only uses her fists but also her legs, she has crafted some specially designed a light crystal covering to protect her legs and feet during kicks. The drawback is that this adds some weight, which may not be too much of a drawback since it empowers her kicks. Still, its basically like wearing ankle weights constantly. Her shoes also either take time to take off or comes off at the worse times, they're trying to figure out a good balance so she is able to remove them quickly for using her ice abilities.

Other:
  • As much of a fighter Diana is, her love for knowledge often overrides her love for an adventure. If she is able, Diana will rapidly take notes on anything new to her and try to take samples to study closely
  • Underneath her clothes and armor, Diana's figure is well-defined in muscles that would make many men jealous. Even without her enhancements, Diana's strength packs a major punch.
  • The use of a rapier isn't a common thing in Faria, but for those who do use it are very skilled with it. It is rare for a Duo's fighter to use a rapier, which makes it a fitting weapon for a queen such as herself.
  • Like many Farians, Diana has a love for sweet fruity treats, and doesn't enjoy the taste of chocolate. Which is the same for many Farians, except her distaste in chocolate is almost like the treat itself is an insult to her.
  • Diana has locked up the "Reincarnation Technique" Winry had developed and is secretly trying to find out how to refine this Magic Technique in her spare time as if it was some sort of hobby.

Minos Demoore
Champion of Prosfaria

Age:
19

Gender:
Male

Species/Race:
Linklin

Powers:
Linkling
- All Linklins gain these abilities when linked to a Master and is only affected by their Master.
  • Telepathy: Exclusive to only their Master, Minos is able to communicate via mind and sensory.
  • Sharing Senses: This is a oneway connection where the Linklin can share their senses (sight ,smell, and hearing) with their Masters but not vice versa. Linklins can only transfer the sense of touch if the Master allows it. The only twoway connection is only unlocked from the Master in which a Master can protect their Linklin from devastating pain by transferring anything they feel to them, or vice versa. Linklins can transfer pain from their Master to themselves on their own but can be stopped if the Master overrides it . . . Not sure why they would want to do that.
  • Absolute Servant: Linklins are unable to deny their Masters, or ignore orders and if the Master wants to take control of them, there is no way to stop it.
  • Buffs: Linklins are empowered by their Masters, and once a link is formed a Linklin's ability increases in order to serve their Master. Agility, endurance, and durability as well as their already existing magical ability (sometimes). Linklins recover faster one their own if their Master is in good health.
  • Sacrifice: Similar to Masters, Linklins are able to revive a dead master . . . The differences between a Master's Sacrifice and a Linklin's Sacrifice lies in the fact that if a Linklin revives their Master, they give up their life as a whole in return. The two will trade places, the Linklin will become the one who is dying while the Master is the one alive and after such a trade a Master cannot do a Sacrifice of their own to save the Linklin. A condition to this is that a Linklin can only give their life to their Masters but using the tears of the "Deepest Sorrows", meaning that a Linklin has to cry from true sorrow in order to revive a Master. In a way, this protects the Linklin from being forced to give their life to a Master from an order because the Linklin actually has to be sad about their Master's death.
The All-Seeing Eyes(*eye) - This used to be a major ability of Minos, the power that convinced people that he was the true Divine Ruler sent from the Spirits. With this ability, Minos can see things regular humans cannot see. He can see through illusions, see auras (something he claims surrounds people that often betrayals them by revealing their true intentions), and see through secrets. The ability has notably weakened with the loss of usage in his right eye, and using this ability tends to put a huge strain on him so he doesn't use it for very long. The ability is extremely weak now, but if he sits down with someone and looks into their eyes he can see bits of who the person is. Think of it of a more accurate palm-reading. Of course like mentioned before, it was weakened and now instead of seeing the full picture he only sees half it, so it isn't as telling as before nor is he able to comprehend what he saw, which leaves it to the person to decipher the message Minos lays out for them in cards since Minos isn't going to be any help.

Options - In theme with his visionary powers, while Minos lost the ability to foresee the futures of others, he still retains the ability to see his own future. With this activated, Minos is able to scan the area for different things he can use or do. To him, these options will be highlighted in his vision and he can get a quick glimpse of the outcome towards himself would be. The drawback is that he has to keep his eye open during this, and if there are too many options for him to choose from he will end up hurting himself with an information overload.
More limits to this would be his physical ability:
-If he is unable to use a tool, it won't be highlighted even though someone else with him is capable of using it.
-It takes him a few seconds to process his options, and even longer if there is more or if he is trying to view all the possible outcomes to himself.
-His eye is going to dry up if he keeps it open for long, and the moment he blinks it cancels out his ability. Meaning he'll have to reactivate it, then try to pick up from where he started.

Magic Strings - This is a power Minos still struggles with so he tends to use it on a smaller scale than he is able to. With this power, Minos is able to create a sticky thread from his hands that he can stick onto things. He is able to control how sticky the string is via mind, so if he wants to unstick something he just thinks it. As silly as it may be, this can actually be very useful in setting traps or controlling his cards . . . Especially since the strings are invisible to the naked eye. Only a highly gifted individual can catch glimpses of the string, including Minos. If Minos isn't using his All Seeing Eye ability, he will also be unable to see it and if you factor in that to use his All Seeing Eye power he has to keep his eye open then its clear how tricky this can actually be.
Once Minos is done with the ability, he can simply dispel the string since it is made from magic. The most Minos uses this ability for is to control his cards, set up annoying little traps, and track people he latches the string onto. Or at least he can in theory, so far they've only been able to test it out for 4.5 miles since Minos couldn't physically handle keeping his eyes open for long periods of times without blinking.

Personality:
Despite his origins of being worshipped as a holy deity, Minos is rather humble and has never saw himself as some godlike figure. Sure he might be a bit snarky, but he isn't cocky. He is very content with being a servant for life, even if he does jest about it or seemingly makes small complaints about Diana. In general, he is alright with anyone giving him tasks to do since he doesn't really have much interest in doing other things in mind to do other than occasional painting. He is easy going and laid back, perfectly fine going along with everyone else.
As willing as he is, he doesn't always act like he is. Minos is known for being overly sarcastic, and talking back to people. He is also known for his love of messing with others, whether it be through small pranks or silly insults, he has that kind of basic humor. In general Minos is the seemingly calm type who is actually childish and has a terrible sense of humor that is often seen when he is with Diana, making small comments . . . Apparently Diana finds his humor amusing and is often found laughing quietly at whatever poor excuse of a joke Minos told her.

History:
Minos had grown up in a village on the outskirts of Apòllus, where they had set up some temple for their chosen "Divine Ruler". At the time, Minos was just a 5 year old going along with the others since he had been taken in by the temple as an orphan. It wasn't until a year later when his powers had kicked in did the original Divine Ruler of the temple get casted out as the people in the village started to believe that Minos and his special eyes were the true Divine Ruler. They treated him as if his eyes were the gift of the Spirits, and that he was the chosen one to rule. Once again Minos kind of just went along with it since it meant he was taken care of and didn't have any troubles.
Minos's life went into a schedule of when he would sit at the Temple's throne and accept offerings. After a meal, for a few hours he would entertain those who were willing in a special room where he had a deck of tarot cards. Using his eyes he could give deep insights of a person or even bring out some secrets, it was mostly just casual things. There had been some incidents at times, but his followers were quick to protect him.

Things changed when the Diana, the Queen of Faria had arrived. She had only recently taken the throne and decided to execute any false "Divine Rulers" in her kingdom because she found them to be a personal insult to her rule. Maybe it was because Minos was young or maybe it was because he had impressed her with his abilities because rather than have him executed she did something that is technically way worse.
She linked with him, making him into her Linkling, which is actually a very painful process that took a lot out of Minos. Since then he was stripped of his Divine title and became a personal servant to the Queen, as well as her champion.
The first thing many will notice about Minos is the bandaging that covers his right eye. The TLDR of this story is that he had wandered away from the protection of his followers to do a request for an outsider, and whatever answer Minos had revealed seemed to have anger the Outsider. As Minos had started to return to his temple, the Outsider ended up attacking Minos, trying to destroy the very eyes that had brought up what the Outsider didn't want to be brought up. Luckily for Minos, the man had only been able to smash the right side of his head with a rock before being stopped by some of his followers who were searching for him. Unluckily for Minos, the man had just smashed the right side of his head with a rock and smashed most of his right eye. Since then, Minos's abilities had notably weakened, probably due to the fact he can't really use his right eye anymore.

Minos has light blonde tousled hair that gives him a bit of an angelic appearance (very fitting for when he was praised as a deity) that cuts off just above his neck. His eyes are a hazel color that lightens up with magical energy whenever he uses his Seeing Abilities. His left eye is the only one visible due to the incident that damaged his right eye's socket and because it isn't exactly the most pleasant thing to look at he tends to cover it, which decreases his ability's strength. Currently his right side isn't as bad as it used to be due to Diana healing it little by little, but despite the physical fix his former strength in his ability is not being restored.
His skin tone is a light creamy color and contrary to his Master does not have same muscle mass as her. Due to his decreased aging speed from the link, he still holds many childish features that make him appear younger than he really is despite being just a year off from being an official adult. His height last measured is roughly just a few centimeters off from 5'5.

Equipment:
Deck of cards
- These aren't the typical flimsy cards you can just play poker with, these cards have been specially infused with magic that enhances them, turning them into lethal weapons. These cards can par with the blade of a sword, and currently Diana is trying to make cards that could cut through a solid metal door for . . . reasons. The metal cutting cards are still a work in progress, but the ones Minos uses now are still surprisingly useful. As well as comedic since he uses his custom deck of tarot cards, and by custom he seems to have a card for everything.

A Saxe Knife - This knife has a blade that stretches out to 5 inches, and is incredibly durable, being able to block hits from swords without getting a dent. The downsize of it is that well, the blade is 5 inches so getting close to actually use it will be extremely hard, not to mention that blade isn't the sharpest so you won't be making any lethal cuts.

Rapier - An elegant blade gifted to him from his Master, Queen Diana. He has the basics down, but he is still training with it. The weapon is more of a display, since Diana thinks her champion should have a more refined fighting style. The weapon might have been a gift to him, but in a way its more like he carries the weapon for the instance Diana takes control over him and uses it to fight. In that case, its more of her skill than his.

Minos wears little to no armor, leaving him very vulnerable but also allows him to maneuver more than someone with armor on. He tends to wear billowy clothing not just as a fashion statement, but because it makes it hard to slash at him since while moving it conceals his actual figure. Its not much of a tactical advantage, but he argues that this has saved him in a pinch when an enemy has tried to slash at him, only for his strike to be a few inches off from where his actual body was.

Other:
  • Since Minos is the one tossing the coin, with his ability he is able to see what it is going to land on before it actually lands. Despite this, he is unable to see how the toss will affect Diana, so he'll never know if Diana is going to call out the right side or if she is going to get it wrong, he only knows what it lands on. This happens fairly quickly so he rarely has time to help Diana cheat her condition.
  • Minos like many Farians rely on distance and quick thinking, using an evasive fighting style. Although he is training with a rapier, his prime method of fighting is evasive. When Minos does the Rapier and is getting aided by Diana, it is her strength with the weapon not his. Without Diana, there is a huge gap of skill easily noted when he fights with the rapier.
  • Using the Magic Infusing technique, Minos can transfer his ability to an object. This is mostly used as a prank, an example being that he infuses a writing tool with his sticky magic so when someone uses it, they have the writing tool stuck to their hand. On rare occasions, Minos can infuse his Seeing ability into a monocle (if he had two available eyes, he could probably do it with glasses), but the ability is limited to only being able to see some specific. Minos honestly just uses it to find lost items and seems to have gotten some sort of trading system of people coming up to him to get a Seeking Monocle (as he calls it now) in exchange for something . . . Usually Snickerdoodles
  • Ever since he started living with Diana, Minos had developed a bit of an art hobby. His art tends to usually be off-center just by an inch or two since his left eye was not his dominate eye. Meaning that everything Minos sees is tilted more to the left than it actually appears.
  • Minos often carries around some sort of solution for his eye to use after he uses his Vision abilities for a prolonged amount of time. It honestly just helps with the dry eye after effect.

Name: King Fenrir Bloodyhammer

Age: 4336

Gender: M

Species/Race: Human/Gargoyle

Kingdom of Origin: The Former Kingdom of In'ry

Powers: (If any. At least 4. DEFINE THEM.) Fire Elemental: Fenrir in his Gargoyle form is able to bring out the fire within him that fuels his stone soul. He can create blasts of white hot flame to small plumes of smoke with the greater of the two causing him to become exhausted quicker so he rarely uses his magic to a great effect usually only using it when in a very big battle or facing more enemies than he can fight on his own. It is also said that when it is raining he can control the lighting, however it is concluded that mothers just say this to there children so they don't go out in the rain for too long. This power can only be used when in his Gargoyle Form.

Master of Combat: However impossible this may sound King Fenrir was but a boy in the old war for the former Kingdom of In'ry. Being the age of 14 at the time he has spent years upon years of training and fighting to master the form of nearly all forms of combat with a weapon and nearly 3 different types of martial arts. He has been training sense he could wield a sword or axe.

Gargoyle Form: Some could say the royal bloodlines of Thalien are blessed with the ability to switch there form to that of a winged beast made of stone. Some however believe that they are instead cursed. The gods of old either granted this power to the first kings and queens or forced it upon them so they would never feel the urge to not wonder about a fight or seek to defend themselves. The Gargoyles are beasts made of stone with great wings that carry there bodies through the air, there claws are pointed and there strength gives them a boost in there human form of extra strength and sometimes keener eyesight, hearing, or speed. Because he is part Gargoyle he is essentially immortal and will never die from natural causes or age only by blade or magic this is why he has lived such a long life.
oLjQqoQ.jpg

Inspirational Voice: However it may not be described as a power or really a good one Fenrir seems to get peoples blood up and to inspire the hearts of many. Whenever a speech is going to be held he inspires all and leaves them with a twinkle in there eyes and a new goal to achieve. You can think of it as Martin Luther King JR in a way i guess.

Personality: (A list or a paragraph.) King Fenrir would have been a very kind man who cared deeply for his subjects had it not been from the war. Now he is known to be a serious and stern man carrying authoritative voice to whomever he is speaking to, his voice is like gravel and his eyes tell tales of there own. However he has learned through war that he can give away to mercy and compassion. When talking to the ones he cares the most for, children, or when he senses he needs to his features soften and his voice becomes mellow and calm giving whoever he's talking t a sense of relief that there not in trouble or have someone they can talk to without having second thoughts.

History: (If a ruler or champion, 3 paragraphs are required. If not then its optional) Born 4336 years ago to the deceased King Dracke Bloodyspear and Queen Zylvia Fenrir has forever lived a life full of hardship or battle. From the age of ten he has been taught the use of a blade while at the age of 14 he was put into the first of many battles he would experience growing up. Years before he was born his father and the former kingdom and neighbors to the former Kingdom of In'ry lay the animal kingdom of Tyrulleua waged a bloody war that all but decimate the land at the time and had millions of deaths. King Leon I was assassinated by a human nationalist and caused The Great War between the two kingdoms. When he was born the end of the war was soon coming to a end even if the two parties didn't know it. He was born in the high palace in a writhing body of flesh and stone reviling he too had the power of the gargoyle. At five he had good knowledge of the war from school and was becoming a promised politician instead of a warrior to his relived parents. At 14 he was traveling from a town where he presence was requested when his party was caught in between the clashing lines of a large army of Animal Humanoids and humans. His guard protected the carriage that was in but it proved naught as they were dragged away into the battle or killed. Seeing no choice the frightened boy picked up the longsword of one of his fallen guards and jumped out of the carriage and into the midst of the battle using instinct and whatever training he had to fight off his opponents. By the time the battle ended he walked amongst the 1,000 survivors who walked through the carnage killing any survivors and bring mercy to his subjects. Ever sense then he had trained to become a warrior, at the age of 15 he was in the middle of training when he suddenly shapeshifter into the gargoyle form sealing his deal as a warrior and as a shapeshifter. Years wen't by until the final battle was called and Fenrir at the age of 1120 stood side by side with the Royal Guard and Father in Gargoyle form. Massive lines millions upon millions stared at one another until the horns were sounded and in a roar that shook the earth the lines collided sending bodies flying or trampled into the dirt. Fenrir hacked and slashed from all sides making sure no one got to him or his friends, however he was pulled away from the fighting alongside 4 other nobles and 6 royal guard. He was on the right flank when the call, for order came and both sides halted panting with exhaustion and and wiping the blood from there eyes. On a hill where all can see his fathers party of royal guards and nobles met with King Tigrin brother to the deceased King Leon I. There his mother with voice carrying across the battlefield with her magic spoke of out this was was for naught and how all it did was slowly lead to the decimation of the land, her people, and the survivors, she called for peace and a united kingdom between the two where Animal could stand side by side with human and call each other brother instead of counting the grudges each person has. It was then on that day that King Dracke Bloodyspear and King Tigrin signed the treaty for peace and united the former Kingdoms of In'ry and Tyrulleua and forming The Kingdom of Thalien with both kings ruling there own land but together.
89869_201405050007185956_2.jpg

After the war King Dracke and King Tigrin worked together to unite the two kingdoms and free the prisoners in the prison camps up north in the mountains, for years peace was upon The Kingdom of Thalien and the usual kingdom business that you can expect would happen, then as King Dracke was walking throughout the streets a mob was starting to form and they started to throw rocks at there king stating that they hate the new kingdom and we should of wiped out the Animals when we had a chance. Suddenly criminals joined the crowd along with some of the guards that were guarding him at the time. Now nearly all of the rioters had weapons and charged there king along wit the 20 guards guarding him. He killed many but eventually died before anyone could reach humans thus started the rise of King Fenrir Bloodyhammer and the civil war of Thalien. Nearly half of the human empire wanted to wipe of the Animals so they declared war on them also. King Fenrir and King Tigrin led there forces into the heart of the rebels land and started to riddle the land with even more bones and soak it with more blood, villages were burned and good men following the wrong thing died up until the last battle came. The Siege of The North. The rebel forces had moved into the northern mountains where the prison camps were and attempted to over power them. While the siege for the camps happened the two armies of King Fenrir and now King Leon II after King Tigrin fell to a dozen arrows. Stranded between two forces a man snuck into the prisons and caused prison riots causing even more chaos than necessary. Finally however all of the rebels and prisoners were either killed or sen't to prison for the rest of there lives.

However not even when the kingdom had time to rest rumors of a necromancer leading a massive army of the undead came to the two kings forcing them to head south into the Animal land and see if the rumors are true.Traveling through jungle and desert the two armies exhausted and without much needed reinforcements and supplies stumbled out of a patch of jungle trees and on top of a ravine. Looking down they saw a waterfall and clean fresh water, but before they could rejoice and drink the clear water King Fenrir silenced his men and told them to look, coming around a curve in the ravine thousands of skeletons came marching forward in a long line with the necromancer at the front. The humans and Animals quickly rushed to the trees to remain hidden and form a plan. There numbers we're to small so they would have to rely on the there surroundings to save them. Trees were cut and boulders were put into place until finally everyone was ready. The necromancer not being dead had to stop and made a camp in the base of the ravine which his army standing motionless around his tent. Blowing the horn trees covered with fire were thrown into the ranks of undead and boulders were thrown or rolled down crushing the bones into dust and sealing the army in leaving them no where to escape. Battle wizards fired bolts of lightning or caused the water to turn to ice and cause knives of ice to fly at the skeletons. The necromancer now awoken unleashed his wrath ordering the skeletons to attack them. They started to climb each other so they could reach the army of Man and Animal until finally the first few starting to rush the lines. Arrows flew killing more and more while the front lines started to deal with more and more relentless undead never tired and never without mercy. It became to much and King Leon II fell leaving the Animals to be under King Fenrir's control. Calling the retreat the army fell back to the jungle where they were joined by the creatures of the swamp and state of Normoor. A place that is all swamp and is home to many thing that have scales and large teeth. Gaining more troops to the armies King Fenrir decided to force a defensive formation. Stakes were made and traps were covered as the army stood waiting for the skeletal army to come from the trees. Finally they came and a ferocious battle took forth claiming many lives of the undead and the still living. But it would prove not enough and they forces of Thalien were surrounded praying that the state army of Normmor would come and save them. After what seemed all home was lost a battle cry came from the trees and the state army arrived cutting through the undead and saving King Fenrir and the whole of Thalien from possible slavedom to the necromancer who's name was never found out.
latest

More wars happened though ht along Reign of King Fenrir and all of them eventually were extinguished, now King Fenrir lives in peace with his wife Llanya and King Leon IV by his side. They are currently getting ready to set sail to meet with the other rulers of the world to talk about the new sightings and rumors going around. With him comes the royal navy, half of the royal guard and a small force from the palace, and state army of Oceanana. Hopefully there won't be any trouble.

Job: Ruler of The Kingdom of Thalien

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Name: Teoxicoehua

Age: 127

Gender: Male

Species/Race: Karsaur

Kingdom of Origin: The Karsaur Kingdom

Powers:

[Lizard's Charge] Teox can charge into huge masses of infantry at a speed that is beyond human capability thanks to the mount that Teox has.
[Acid Spit] Teox spits acid onto his foe, which is acidic enough to burn through atleast 1 inch of armor and cause serious burns on the flesh.
[Teox's Lightning Strike] The brute force of the Mace he carries can be enchanted further by casting a small ritual on the weapon to increase the momentum and the speed of which the mace swings.
[Warcry of the Philosophy] This war cry gives intense inspiration to his warriors, and allows them to further their physical capabilities such as strength and overall speed.

Personality: Despite his proud stature, Teox is quite a deviating Karsaur, who avoids personal questions towards himself. Much preferring the battlefield over the throne, he often reminiscences on fighting wars rather than taking a more diplomatic approach. Teox also employs lots of realpolitik into his talking, using power to gain more power through intricate and elaborate plots of intrigue.

History:
It was many years ago since this gladiator had fought his way out of the Brood pools. He was at a young age, gifted by the Ideal Philosophy to become a great warrior and future leader of warriors. Early in his life, he was a gladiator. Teox wasn't forced into this position, he merely chose it because he interpreted the Ideal Philosophy's prophecy about him that he had to become a gladiator in order to become a great warrior and leader. In many wars after he left his gladiator career, he learned that the prophecy was in fact true because he was granted a position in the Broodborn Riders and as a king of the Kingdom. Quickly, he began to expand his military and go into expeditions outside of his realm and holdings

He took a trip across the seas, encountering not that much, besides a lost Karsaur ship. The Karsaur ship had thousands of gems and gold in there, which was needed back at the main island of Xochipilli. Back at the island, tensions were rising with feudal warlords attempting to claim Teox's throne and challenge the current Kingdom Hierarchy. It was too late before Teox could return home, his kingdom was lost to the warlord Ahuiliztli

In gruesome civil wars, between loyalist to Teox and the Ahuiliztli supporters. In the fateful battle between Teox and Ahui, the two dueled...

In the midst of the chaos that was the battle for the capitol; Teox's mace clashes with the club of Ahui. Teox shouts "The prophecy foretold this... And it foretold your death!" Ahui is hit in the side of the head with the mace. Ahui staggers, and reclaims himself. "Well! You must be wrong! I desire to be King!" Ahui spits acid on the face of Teox. Teox stumbles onto the ground, and collapses. He looks up to Ahui "End this! Now!" Ahui shouts "Submit and be a vassal, or die a failure!"

Out of the mouth of Teox; an overcoming roar is produced. And his Broodborn mount arrives in time, crashing into Ahui. Ahui is bite in the side of the neck by the beast, giving Teox the opportunity to rise up to his feet. Teox grabs his mace, ready to reclaim his kingdom. Teox began to viciously beat and mutilate the face of Ahui, til he was beyond dead.

Nayacel "Naya" Ker'rosm

"Mu ja rak etull talfalnor."
"May the light guide your heart."

Gender: Female
Age: 19
Height / Weight: 5 ft / 102 lbs
Sexuality: 110% Pan

Marks: Tattoos depicting the sun, flames, lions, and more abstract symbols can be found all over her body, marking her as an elite holy warrior.

Race: Tsavosan
Almost the entirety of the Tsavosan race lives exclusively on a tiny tropical island called Tsavos, approximately 500 miles off the southern coast of the [INSERT NAME] continent. This island paradise and the waters around it are surrounded by holy energy that keeps monsters away and makes the waters seem to glow at night. Despite the beauty and safety of the area, sailors fear drifting into Tsavosan waters as the cat people guard their holy island jealously and are known to attack any ship on sight.

Class: Lion of Rak'Thiel (Monk/Paladin)
Uthial Ur'r Rak'Thiel; or Lion of Rak'Thiel; are an elite sect of warriors tasked with the protection of the Tsavosan's holy relic, Rak'ThielFalnor; Rak'Thiel's Heart. These holy warriors wield the divine flames of their god to shine light upon the truth and purge the darkness.

God you worship: Rak'Thiel; the Tsavosan god of fire, light, and life.

Alignment: Lawful-Good

Personality: Cheerful and full of energy, Naya is the kind of person that you rarely ever see without a smile. She is always willing to help with anything that is asked of her and nothing ever seems to bring her down. Being raised on an isolated island Naya is a little naive as to how the outside world works. She is very religious (as a paladin should be) and can be found every morning praying to the sun.

Bio: The Tsavosans taught that Rak'Thiel had given them the island and protected them from evil because only they were worthy of it. And that all other races were evil and flawed. Even as a child Nayacel never fully agreed with this elitist view, having a firm belief that the strong were given power not for themselves but so that they could protect the weak. When a Tsavosan comes of age (16) they are encouraged take their Uldii, their Journey, to leave the island for a year and to see the evils of the outside world for themselves. However Naya chose to forgo her Uldii so that she could train to become one of the Lions of Rak'Thiel so that she could use that strength to fight for others.

After three years Naya took her final trial and was given the title and powers of the Uthial Ur'r Rak'Thiel. That same night however she was approached in a dream by what she believes was Rak'Thiel himself. In this vision he commanded her to go out into the world and to judge for herself if it was truly evil. After hearing of her vision, the Tsavosan Elders begrudgingly sent Naya on her Uldii, confidant that she would return to them when her year was up.

Personal belongings and various items: The only things that she possesses are a small pack, a tent, a bedroll, a sleeping bag, a fishing pole, and a wooden flute. She also has five gold and a talisman that will allow her to communicate with the Tsavosan elders for only ten minutes. Hanging from her neck is a pendent in the shape of a golden sun.

Weapons: Naya is an expert martial artist, having to defeat all three of her masters before she could claim the title Uthial Ur'r Rak'Thiel. She is acrobatic, quick on her feet, nearly impossible to hit, and the moment you leave yourself open she will attack with lightning fast punches and kicks.

Abilities and Powers:
The Flames of Rak'Thiel -
Having bathed in the light of Rak'Thiel's Heart, Naya is able to channel the relic's power in the form of golden flames wreathed around her fists, feet, or even her entire body. She can also spew these flames like a flamethrower or send them traveling along the ground. These holy flames only burn creatures of darkness or those with evil in their hearts. The more sin a person has in their hearts the hotter the flames feel. (It is important to note that these are not "true flames", as such fire-resistance does not stop them and fire-control cannot manipulate them.)

- Truly Good people will feel a comfortable warmth from the flame and will take no damage.

- Good people who have committed evil acts and have not repented (Definition: feel or express sincere regret or remorse about one's wrongdoing or sin.) and Evil people who have never committed a truly evil act (murder or worse) will be burned to a lesser degree on contact with the flames.

- Truly Evil people and creatures (undead, demons, devils, and creatures of negative energy) will feel the full heat of the flames and will also catch on fire

Naya can also channel her flames into weapons and objects, igniting organic materials and making inorganic materials glow with holy light. Oddly enough stone is not affected by this ability while metal is (something about metal being purified and shaped in flames...).

Envoy of the Sun - Wielding the powers of a sun god, Nay is both immune to fire attacks and resistant to ice attacks. She also does not feel extreme heat or cold.

Chosen of the Gods - Chosen as Rak'Thiel's champion, the god of light, life, and the sun occasionally sends Naya visions to guide her in her journey; warning her of great danger and pointing her in the direction she needs her to go. (ONLY THE DM DECIDES WHEN THIS HAPPENS) (Also note, this is not a "class feature" but rather something she has had all her life.)

Detect Evil - Naya posses a sixth sense for evil. She can passively tell when evil is committed or an evil person is near. If she focus she can pinpoint exactly where the presence is and how powerful.

Lay on Hands - Naya can channel her divine energy to heal wounds and cure poisons and diseases.

Aura of Good - As a holy warrior, Naya radiates holy energy. Any creature weaker than her that attempts to detect good will be overwhelmed.

Divine Grace - Holy power protects Naya, boosting her already incredible reflexes, giving her energy to fight exhaustion and poisons, and shielding her mind from outside influence. (Does not make her immune to poisons and mind affecting abilities. Just resistant.)

Aura of Courage - Nayacel has divine immunity against fear, both natural and magical. Note that this does not mean that she cannot feel fear, rather that it cannot overwhelm her and control her actions. This courage is so great that simply standing near her can boost allies' moral.

Divine Health - Due to divine protection, Naya is immune to sickness and disease, be they natural or not.

Likes and Dislikes:
+ Music
+ The sun
+ Swimming
+ A good fight
- Dogs (duh!)
- Running away
- The undead

Personal Strengths:
- As all members of her race, Naya has enhanced hearing, night vision, claws, and incredible reflexes and agility.
- Is a prodigy martial artist
- Is physically strong enough to shatter stone with her bare hands and can take just as much as she can dish out.
- Never doubts or second guesses herself. Once she has made a decision, she follows it through to the end.

Personal Weaknesses:
- Naya is a bit of a ditz, having no sense of personal space or privacy and at times can be... easily distracted
- Tends to see the world in black and white
- Over confidence can sometimes get her in over her head

Dreams: Making peace between the Tsavosans and the other races

Fears: Not living up to her role as a Lion of Rak'Thiel

Relationship With PCs/NPCs: Most people would treat her as a curious oddity, not recognizing the cat-girl's race. Sailors and those who have lived on the eastern coast on the other hand will recognize her as a Tsavosan and will treat her with fear and/or anger.
