At the creation of Earth, Sky, Sea and Heaven, life began to roam. But where did this life come from? Who brought the aura of life to the world? Who brought the dark rains and the bright sun? The forest fires that blazed down trees into ashes and renewed the earth? The rivers that were the veins of life and the water, the blood? That would be the Wolves of Gaia, spiritual and heavenly beings that harnessed powers beyond imagination. They brought life to earth. To Gaia. This RP explores the creation of Gaia, from a flaming ball of rock floating in space harbouring nothing, to the flourishing, beautiful planet she is now.

The Twelve Wolves
of Gaia

These are the twelve Wolves of Gaia who brought life to the Earth.
Rising Wolf of the Sun, "Rising Sun", Bringer of Light, Female
Rising Sun is one half of the pulls of Gaia, the motion that keeps Gaia spinning. She brings light to the world and all it shines on.
Howling Wolf of the Moon, "Howling Moon", Pull of the Tides, Female
Howling Moon is the opposite sister of Rising Sun, the other half of the motions of the world that keeps Gaia spinning.
She brings the quiet moonlight and the gravitational pull that moves the tides.
Swift Wolf of the Rivers, "Swift Rivers", Lifeblood of the Earth, Female
Every river that exists on Gaia was the way that Swift Rivers ran. Where she ran tirelessly, the ground below her opened up and crystal clear water filled up, bringing one of the most essential parts of life to Gaia.
Scorching Wolf of Renewal "Scorching Renewal", King of Fire, Male
Scorching Renewal's fur was always on fire, and where he walked he burned the ground, raising volcanoes where he slept. When he ran past forests the flames of his fur caught on the leaves, burning everything to the ground. But such was meant to be, as the forests that burned to the ground turned into fertile ash and soil, paving the way for something new.
Whispering Wolf of Darkness, "Whispering Darkness", Shadow of Dreams, Female
When Howling Moon brought the night, Whispering Darkness brought the shadowy veil over Gaia, casting those to sleep and bringing them dreams. She weaves through dark trees, waking the nocturnal and sending the others to sleep.
Blooming Wolf of Earth, "Blooming Earth", Heart of the Forest, Female
Her paws covered in vines and flowers, Blooming Earth created patches of beautiful nature where she walked, forests and jungles where she slept. Life bloomed all around her, wherever she went, and when Scorching Renewal blazed Gaia, she would return to bring back life, stronger than ever.
Glimmering Wolf of the Sky, "Glimmering Sky", Watcher of the World, Female
Where would the moon and the sun go if there was no sky, no space? Glimmering Sky's pelt twinkles and sparkles with stars at night, glowing with clouds in the day. She brings the weather, the rains, the hot summer days, and when you look up into the sky you can almost see her running along, stars shimmering off her fur.
Whipping Wolf of Gales, "Whipping Gales", Song of the Air, Male
The fastest of all the Twelve Wolves, Whipping Gales is rarely even seen beyond a blur. He brought the winds when he ran, pushing the clouds created by Glimmering Sky. He created tornadoes, whirlpools, the dry, desert air. He also brings the pollen of flowers by Blooming Earth to other places.
Striking Wolf of Storms, "Striking Storms", Power of the Sky, Male
Brother to Whipping Gales, Striking Storms commands the treacherous weather of the skies - the storms, the lightning, the thunder. He is arguably one of the most powerful wolves in terms of strength.
Frozen Wolf of the North, "Frozen North", Keeper of History, Male
Frozen North stays to the poles, freezing parts of history for preservation. He brings the light snows and the fun winter days, but also the blizzards and blinding snowstorms.
Clawing Wolf of Death, "Clawing Death", The Eternal Cycle, Male
With life must come death, and Clawing Death moves the Eternal Cycle. Those who die pass into his claws and are guided by his shadowy pelt through the mortal realm to the afterlife and at the Gates of Passage, he is there to judge.
Bleeding Wolf of War, "Bleeding War", He Who Ends In Chaos, Male
Where there is society, there are people. And where there are people... there is war. No one knows why Bleeding War came to exist but he is here and he is one of the most prominent wolves, prayed to in times of war. He gains his strength from bloodshed, and it is no secret that the others are a little concerned about what Bleeding War might become.
